Simple, yet fun. I would've wished for a landing indicator
First of all: Good Job on finishing with a playable game! (I played without Controller)
If there was any colour coding with different enemies, I didnt understand it; I tried to figure out the difference between white/purple virus but i couldnt.
Actually couldnt manage to beat the game: every X seconds a huge wall of enemies will appear, and it doesnt feel like its possible to shoot your way through. You are too big and too slow (especially in vertical direction) to maneuver around.
I would've enjoyes some invulnerability frames after getting damaged (you just lose 70% of your HP when smashing into multiple enemies at once).
A possibility to gain HP back could also fix that.
Keep Going!
As if keeping my own plants alive was not hard enough, i am gifted a small digital friend that needs affection!
The game is presented in a way that its easy to understand what you have to do and it fits the theme very well. I was not really able to make her happy without spamming love in her face; but i guess thats just how depression works.
Nice game! Very good for killing time before going to sleep after such a weekend :D
nice artwork and audio. You make me wish we had done a global highscore feature!
Great artwork, music and voice acting. I love the atmosphere this game creates.
Nice concept. It'd be helpful to see which free items the game gives you in the next level. Also, I love the music
Solid game with polished mechanics. I like the way that the camera is dynamic, but you know what's happening offscreen through indicators. Being used to WASD, the controls feel awkward, especially on a German keyboard (Y and Z keys switched).
Pretty tricky game. Liked it :)
It's frustrating to hit an enemy and then die by the recoiling ball, but this game too addictive not to start a new round
I believe with a broader variety of mechanics, this could have been an interesting game. Unfortunately, in its current state the gameplay solely consists of clicking on one's cards and waiting for the rather slow turn cycle to play out, with maybe a quick laugh at the card descriptions.
Nice music. I reached over 3000 Points in webos.
Very intuitive introduction of mechanics. The hitboxes can be a bit weird at times (for example you can fall into a hole when your feet are still well on solid ground, bit your head collides). Overall great game though. Made me wish for more levels.
Fun game, but the objective felt more like making money than to keep the phone alive
Great idea, that feels unfinished in implementation. Placing items on the ground is a little awkward both due to the q keybinding and the item being dropped above the robot, rather than where it is facing. Not having everything in vision can add to the atmosphere, but with the time to deliver orders being so tight even from the start, I frequently hit a sudden and unexpected game over screen, that just felt unfair and punishing. Still, the gameplay had me hooked enough to try over and over again.
You don't need complicated mechanics to make a great game.
Nice game. It really felt like you are responsible for the plant. Every time it died, a part of me was sad. For me, the ability to walk and jump seems not necessary. But it is nice that you can explore the world a bit. Maybe the movement of the arm could be faster or, as it was a bit annoying to switch the side where I wanted to shoot.
* The core mechanic was not lacking anything as far as I can tell. * The Wind has very global effects; maybe something local could be fun? maybe one or two objects like hot air ballons that can be "controlled" and crash into something? * I like the calm atmosphere of the game; its really just playing around that I enjoyed. BTW I actually did enjoy the sounds
This game was so much fun. Laughed a few times when i saw my own mistakes repeating themselves in front of me. Some polish on the graphics music would ehance this great game idea
This was really relaxing to play. The vibe of fishing definetly came up. This game felt very polished, with the physics, the art and the music/sfx. It might be a little bit too slow paced, when you miss the fishes, you have to wait too long before you can fish again.
Congratulations on your game.
P.S.: Some way to exit the game else then Alt + F4 would be nice :)
has some similarities with the game our team published for this jam. still yours is a complete different game.
moving left right felt pretty weird, i would have rather had full control. (although i appreciate the "loopiness "in the controlls, of accelerating to the left).
Overall a really nice game, everything matches pretty well. design, music, sounds, ..., good job on the polish!
finally i managed to find another game themed after a torus shaped wheat product. We were talking about bagels, but settled with a donut :D
Had no problems rolling the bagels, i even perfected the process by rolling multiple at once ;) just as @a4x8e6 there was dough thrown on my butter; but I think that was supposed to happen.
Overall really cute game. Font was kinda hard to read. Disabling the cursor could add to the mood.
This looked so good! Was really nice paired with thouse sound effects.
The lighting. Just wow. Looked so polished. And even the ray tracing with the mirror.
Good Job you!
P.S. Hoped i could leave the house someday, but i guess erica won't ever let me leave..
Nice Game. I liked the Idea to use window buttons as ammunition, fits perfectly.
what a beautiful game! its fun to figure out strategies in the early levels, just to abandon every rule of it to panic shoot everything away.
the game doesnt need it, since its perfect the way it is. but i could totaly see different levels with different enemies.
keep it up guys!
The background and art was so nice too look at (hehe) I got pushed down the hill often, resetting the progress. Was this intended? Could not "play" much here
This was very nice to play. The music, the environment, the screen shakes and sound effects were amazing. Would have loved to have some checkpoints. The music did not restart when i died, but reloading the game was also an option.
Very good job!
Great Idea. I had a little trouble with the controls though
Cool game. Liked the way the puzzles were layed out. The game ran a little bit slow on my pc (10fps), so i guess with a better machine the game would even be better. Maybe add a longer music track, the one used is getting repeated too fast.
game was fun! went for full stab build and managed to stab down 8 of them. upgrading the boss to have a rocketlauncher was a bad idea for my build. the missiles are either spawning directly in my face or are hidden behind the boss (maybe change the draw order if you wanna stick with it). the "loop" you are "stuck in" being the gameplay loop is improvable tho
Was a little bit hard withouth the possibility to plan ahaed. You really had to play several loops to know the level. But that fits the theme :D Nice work, keep it up
I really like the art style. The stroy was interesting as well, although i couldn't read the blue text on grey background.
Pretty hard, did not quite get the concept at first (how to block). Loved the graphics and the humor
This is really funny :D loved to fly through the air and wrap around things. got stuck on the second level but was very funny to play nevertheless. Loved the sound effects of the snake moving <3
This game is so polished. Especially the art style looks like something you'd find in a big title.
Great graphics and sound. Feels quite polished. Keep up the good work!
Really fun game. Some of the jokes may have hit a little close to home .
Smoked weed until i died. Funny idea
Controls are pretty wobbly. I did not quite understand what i had to do, or how to achieve it
Easily my favourite game in this jam so far. The time split mechanic is relly well thought out and the later levels are relly challenging, but doable. I would've wished for the first levels to actively teach the mechanics, but your explanation in description did a fine job regardless.
This was really fun to play. I managed to finish it and this felt really great. Would love some retro music that matches the awesom graphics. The levels and the plan for them was really nice!
This was addicting :D Very fluent gameplay. I think some sfx would fit that game perfectly. The enemies were nicely done. Congrats on your finished game!
Fun game. Would be nice to have a score, so you can try to beat yourself.
A bit hard, but cool concept. Would be nice to have a way to restart the game.
This game is such a joy to play!! The athomesphere, the simplicity, the puzzles, just amazing to play. Thank you for this submission. Keep it up. I like your style
This is a really nice game. Sometimes the planets are hard to hit with the mouse. Would have loved some music in the background. Feels very polished! Loved the explosion effect. Keep it up
Great Game. I love the way the first levels teach you the meachanics until it gets more chaotic later on.
amazing mood you set up, the first thunder scared the shit out of me (partially because it was very loud tho). I also like the pixelart.
The game got kind of tedious; i could not really progress. i guess you are supposed to be "stuck" but getting backstabbed the 5th time after walking that long way also killed my motivation to solve the case. also: random accusing the first dude i met, seems to have solved the case anyways
The menu was awesome, but in game i didnt know what to do. Pressed some buttons but then i died at some point
Funny game idea. Loved the humor :D Music is very fitting. Nice artwork!
Congratulations
This was a cool game. The art and music was pretty fitting. Also liked the rainy mood!
However the gameplay is not finished, is it, i talked to the bartender after the Drinking Guy, and clicked walk away after i got his drink. It then revealed that he tried to poison me with the icecubes. Seems like the dependencies of the events are not bugfree.
But i like the way this is going! Keep it up
Very good twin stick shooter. Very difficult to play on a touchpad though  I think your idea of the moving rooms in a random loop is very unique. The game has a good polish and is very fun to play. The target cross is a very good idea for a better understanding of the twin stick mechanic.Unfortunately I cannot change our own game now to implement this too  If the score and room count would be visible after death, would be nice. Keep up the good work, love to see your next jam game
Cool little game! Love the voice acing. Nice spaceinvaders analogy.
Keept it up
Cool concept, sometimes the passengers did not enter/leave the train. Some chilly background music would fit this perfectly :)
This game manages to build up tension quite nicely. It is simple yet engaging.
Nice audio and game concept. However i was a little bit confused about whats going on. Don't know if i ran into bugs or i didnt understand the level. But cool idea!
really cute take on "robo-rally". seen many games with this "looping instructions"-idea; but yours is by far the most polished one. Good Job!
Nice work. Super catchy soundtrack. The levels in combination with the power ups are perfectly balanced. I would love to play the last level unlimited to beat my high score ;) A menu to reduce the sound effect value would be nice, with the shotgun at full speed I couldn't hear the music anymore ^^
precisely calculating your path through foreign galaxies just to yeet your spaceship into a rock solid planet. was stuck on lvl 5 for ages but managed to finish the game. really cool to see this concept in such a beautiful polished way, since we almost made a similar game.
This was a fun short game. Loved the sound effect and feedback onhit. Keep up the good work! Music was very fitting for this game
We really enjoyed your humor. The current money is hard to see below the character.
nice sound effects. Loved the simplicity in the controls, small and clear. Keep it up
This was very fun to play. Loved the music, never fails to amaze. Tell your brother, he is no comrade anymore
Neat game. I would've liked to see a tutorial or something to soften the difficulty curve a bit.
Really smooth game. Very impressing that you wrote it nearly from scratch, not using any framework. I liked the story you tell in the tutorial very much. But unfortunately, I did not quite get the hang of the game concept. Kept loosing in the second level. Keep up the good work!
took me really long to figure out what to do at the traffic lights. (didnt even know there was a car) all i did was working eating and driving; dont know how to break out (i just assume thats the joke of the game)
ps: awesome art!
The game is a bit too large for my screen and I missed some sort of indicator how much time you have left. The graphics contribute nicely to the athmosphere.
We were not smart enough to solve it. We got stuck on the small box and could not figure it out. Game was pretty fun. We had a bug with the tasks closing automatically and could not interact with them. Nice music speed increase. Could you provide the solution at some point?
Edit: We managed to do it, and the joy was immense :)
Nice game with cool mood. But the controls are a little bit weird and too sensitive. Therefore it was hard to play.
Music was fitting. Would be nice to have more options available than pressing space. But cool game idea to rebuild a given form :)
Cool Concept with the realtime card game. We didnt manage to restart when we died. There was no menu or something similar. The contrast was hard to read (on our not so bright beamer) Nice enemy textures.
Cool game idea with the camera changing around the corner. The jump controls feel a little bit wobbly. Good Job
cool game idea :D Would have loved to have more minigames instead of just waiting. But thats a much bigger scope then. Maybe spice up the music with a longer music track, so it does not get repetitive too fast.
Congratulations on finishing the game in the jam!
Very nice voice acting. Did not know how to rate the fun of the game, but definetly the mood :D Good work, keep it up
Nice mechanics, almost felt like DarkSouls . Impressice to make such a polished game in one weekend, almost a AAA title.
This was very nice to play. Loved the artwork and music, was all very fitting for the mood. Also love the character designs. And nice voice acting. I always like it if this extra effort is made. Some interactions with charactes would be nice, but that would increase the scope beyond a gamejam.
Good work!
This has potential, for example by adding some way to spend the gold. The enemies are fairly close to the entry of each room, so there is a good chance you get hit immediately if you don't anticipate them.
Nice touch on tower defense. I wish there were more mechanics, but overall a solid entry
Nice platformer. Did not quite get the loop reference, but enjoyed playing it :)
Funny little game. Very nice sound effects
The character is nice. Felt really bad for him once i lost the game. Simple gameplay, i like it :) Congratulation on your game!
(played the webgl version) pretty cool design and visually appealing, music feels a bit creepy tho. i kinda fail to find the jams theme "stuck in a loop". sadly starting with the 2nd level, the connecting lines were invisible (some of them were sometimes visible while rotating; which is reducing the puzzle to somewhat of a trial and error)
i always got thrown back to the main menu. But the game idea looked cool!
Wow, impressed by your progress in just a weekend. Liked the maze style level. Some sound effect feedback on interaction would make this even better :) On my screen, the notes were a little bit to small, so i had to get closer to my monitor. But else pretty solid game!
Sound effects are a little bit hard on the ears. Some epic music would fit this game amazingly. I did not see any effects when shooting. Should i be able to shoot the enemies?
This was so funny to play. The glass breaking made me laugh instantly :D I hoped to be able to play the game through, so you actually got me "stick in the loop" :D Great Job.
P.S. Loved the detail of the clock moving and the sound effects!
The art was amazing. Also the controls felt very fluid. I managed to find out what to do eventually by reading a bit in the comments. I first did not see the big altar circle progressing in the back. Great game idea. Would love to see this with more content.
Funny game. Gets hard pretty fast. Loved the ide of circling around with the guns. Some spiced up music would have made it even better :)
Nice Game 5/7
I did not understand how to solve the first puzzle :(
This is a really nice game, and it feels so polished! Greta sound and graphic design! I had a really great time playing it. The controls are a bit wonky, but i guess that was intended :D Kudos for the online leaderboard.
This was hilarious. Loved the story and the humor. Was a bit too hard though :(
That was really fun to play :) There was a little bug with a jittery camera, but i loved the sound design. Great work!
Nice Game and Artstyle, i had fun with the gameplay. It was a little bit stressful at times with the shortnotice rocks and snow patches. Nice soundeffect on falling :id: Good Job
This game has a very nice feeling and very cool and soothing soundtrack. I played for some time and had fun :) I was sad when i killed one of my employees on a risky mission. RIP delivery guy :( It would be great to see the type and the presence status of the employers in the bar, and not just by clicking on them.
