I really liked the atmosphere and the sense of exploring. I was a little confused because I the first thing I was told was that there were notes, then the message "Press E to interact" pops up, so I naturally wanted to interact with the notes and thought I was doing something wrong when I couldn't.

Some of the minigames were confusing. On the move-the-small-square game I think the hit detection is a little off on the batteries. Also, the spinning clock timing game gave no indication that you had to hit spacebar and nothing else in the game would have led me to that point. I like trying to figure things out, but this seemed arbitrary at times.

The graphics were nice and I really liked learning a little more each playthrough. Nicely done!

Exploring the ship was nice. It was really pretty gorgeous and I was really impressed by the variety of assets. I didn't understand any of the minigames and couldn't figure out how to read the post-it notes. With that said though it was an interesting experience. Loved the skyboxes.

Pretty nice graphics, cool overall game. Interesting concept. Good job!

radomir3d 2020-10-05 10:52

Hello everyone the notes in the game are curently not working because of the bug and some sounds are not playing for the same reason. We will try to fix all bugs asap. And big thanks for your response :)

Hmmm, I think 2 minutes is a it too harsh for the player to do and the square minigame sometimes just get stuck

squareworx-studio 2020-10-05 19:17

haha! the headcrab in the microwave! Pretty cool concept, however the lack of inverted y axis on the mouse made it unplayable for me.

I liked this, exploring the ship and solving puzzles was fun and atmospheric.

The implementation of the theme, while valid, didn't add much for me in terms of enjoyment however.

Nice

Good one. Atmosphere of real sci-fi classic

enad96 2020-10-07 13:51

Incredible that you managed to pull this off in just a weekend. You established the mood really well with the skybox and music and it fit the theme perfectly.

Nice space game, it gave me vibes of the Nostromo from Alien!

Here are my feedback:

_Positive points - Good isolation ambiance - Clever usage of the theme - It controls well

_Negative points - Missing feedback/animation when doing interaction, so sometimes I didn't know if I had taken well the item or did the action - Missing feedback/animation when dying in the explosion, it would have added more feedback to the loop element of the game

Overall: Nice work!

This is really impressive! For a game made in a weekend it’s really elaborate—in particular I’m amazed y’all implemented multiple minigames. Did find myself constantly getting lost; some variety in the environment would have helped a lot with that. I also wasn’t clear on how to solve some of the object-finding puzzles: in particular, the missing power module thing seemed to have a shelf right across from it with a bunch of things that looked like they’d fit, but as far as I could tell there was no way to pick any of those up. As others mentioned, the skybox outside the ship is incredibly pretty—it would have been great to have some more windows in the other rooms to see it through (might also have helped with the disorientation issue). Overall, nice work!

Wow, tempting plot. Very big and rich environment! But the thing that confused me at start that I couldn't interact with any note or item... and after reading comments figured out that need to preess E (there weren't any info on my screen for some reason:( )

I think concept of loop is very fit on your game - every time you need to do the same actions again and it DOES make sense ;) Although it's yet so hard to do all in time.. so sorry, I havn't complete all quests.

Anyway, very well done!

Overall, I enjoyed the game. The only critiques I have are the lack of prompts to pick up items (or maybe a glow or something) to distinguish the objects you can pick up from those you can't and the lack of instructions in the circuit board game.

fireslash 2020-10-08 03:15

As others have mentioned, the controls are a bit of a grab bag.

I would have liked to see the story told a bit more directly. Without reading the instructions outside the game it's very unclear what's going on, and as others have noted, there's no prompt to click on the notes and it's not clear which button interacts.

The art style is simple and clean, which is nice. The minigames feel a bit random though. I think you'd be fine without them.

Overall a neat idea, I'd love to see this fleshed out a bit more.

This was a great entry, the visuals were fantastic. I loved the idea of the 2 minute loop to improve my skill / planning until I could beat the game. Solid atmosphere and sounds, possibly my favourite entry in the jam so far.

drjexter 2020-10-08 03:28

I found it a little difficult to play. I think mostly because of the time. two minutes in a simple platform can feel like a lit, but you had a decent amount to look at, sometimes just looking around at the setting and assets killed my timer.

fachscahfttf 2020-10-08 12:52

Wow, impressed by your progress in just a weekend. Liked the maze style level. Some sound effect feedback on interaction would make this even better :) On my screen, the notes were a little bit to small, so i had to get closer to my monitor. But else pretty solid game!

gonzalol 2020-10-08 13:00

Good atmosphere, immersive music and great graphics.

madalaski 2020-10-08 13:04

Really impressive that you managed to make this in 3 days, the environments feel fully realised and the gameplay is a short, satisfying experience!

somogy 2020-10-08 13:14

Great game! Good job dudes!

arad-hamidsamiee 2020-10-08 13:56

Gameplay was good and smooth but the game was too short :((((

100th-coin 2020-10-14 05:20

Really impressive work on the 3D models! I wish it was a bit longer, but for a game made in a weekend, this is stellar! Amazing job all around.

saurterrs 2020-10-16 08:40

Very cool ship level. Like in old good movies I guess. The game is good, well done :)

chilled-out-banana 2020-10-17 10:02

I really liked the art style that was used for space. If you had the time, I think the art style would have been elevated if you stuck with that style on the ship, too. The background music was nice, I think the overall soundtrack needed more sound effects. I think my main critique is that I wished you dove more into the story instead of those small tasks. I think a stronger presence of a story would help guide the players through the spaceship better. It's still a really good game, though.

matootsy 2020-10-20 17:08

The mood is nice. Clean 3D Art and nice ambient music. The spaceship configuration is good to. I know that the time limitation is here to fit the theme, but I don't like this timer in this kind of puzzle exploration game. Suddendly we have to play again from the begenning (The idea of the post-it is nice, but doesn't make the feeling of restarting from the begenning better.). Other point : it's difficult to understand what is interactive or not with E. Some feedbacks would help. But it was to discover some mini games in the game. Congrat to the team! I would say, now you can perhaps forget a bit the "loop" theme and make a nice escape game.
