LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Crazy River by Shugor 2020-10-09T20:24:51Z

Wow there's a lot of work that was put into this game. I dig the art style. The narrative is quite cool as well, each character has their own proper "cliche" personality which is both funny and relatable. I just wish there was a bit more interaction on the player's behalf.

The Infinite Ark by SaraJS 2020-10-06T16:06:54Z

Worth it! this was really fun, truly amazing what you achieved in such a short space of time. I can see how this can become a full-fledged game on the app store, it's casual enough, imagine having this run on a longer timescale similar to fallout shelter, periodically checking in to see how the ship is faring. with the occasional encounter. I liked this. also I just had to get my ship disassembled! brilliant

stuck spinning =[ by pinneh 2020-10-05T19:05:50Z

This was quite fun, I did however get some lag spikes? I completely understand why "shift" was needed, for more control in those tight streams. I enjoyed the music and the general mood

Lyza's Knot by William Derksen 2020-10-09T19:56:24Z

man that really really was intense! The audio really got me into the zone there, I really couldn't bring myself to finish it, that monster AI is creepy as hell! (In a good way of course) well done on the mood!

couldn't find the game 404

Worth it! gorgeous graphics! pretty much exactly what I personally prefer. I do however have to say the "counter" steering did not feel right, but I somehow suspect this was intentional? for the sake of the loop, but just a little bit more control would've been preferred. I did not get very far as soon as the enemies were introduced. but I would say this can actually become a commercial success if developed further. *edit: I really laughed at the boop boop sounds

Orbit Jumper by Bentekiller 2020-10-05T20:26:37Z

Really Fun game! after a while it becomes easier to predict where you will move off to, however I would've loved to have an indicator to know how far I was from the mother ship. sometimes I would luck out and get very very far. This can become a great mobile game if expanded upon.

GrooveBouncer by Merotar 2020-10-05T18:58:44Z

This was quite fun, if you threw in an objective it could've become a game. but honestly as a thing to play around with it's very much entertaining. I really enjoyed it

Deep Winter by Copito 2020-10-09T19:44:47Z

A Fun little game. I actually really enjoyed the art direction the most. I managed to get to the end. The story has a good idea behind it. However it is a Jam, so obviously it can't be developed to its full potential. I would've totally 'digged' a roll mechanic.

Highly polished, very solid core and replayability. you have to share how you did that chromatic aberration. really cool small details. This is easily the game I scored the highest, even above my own. the lack of audio really didn't take away since the game plays well with my own music in the background. I just had a thought; This can be awesome on a mobile phone where you use the gyroscope/accelerometer to move around well done!

Loop Cut by Quak 2020-10-05T18:38:39Z

Lots of potential, I honestly like the "trails" they are very pleasing to the eye. I won't say it matches perfectly with the rest of the graphic style, but it's still nice. I do find that I wish there was more to the game play however. Also I did not use the gun as I did not find a need for it, Slashing for the win.

LOOP by Blue05 2020-10-09T20:08:33Z

A Nice solid puzzle platformer! I dig the little particles that react to the player. it adds more more ambiance to the game. This idea can be expanded upon nicely. a good solid framework. Also the introduction levels were great at teaching the player without feeling like a tutorial. kudos on that.

Space Loop by sergei201613 2020-10-05T19:17:58Z

haha! the headcrab in the microwave! Pretty cool concept, however the lack of inverted y axis on the mouse made it unplayable for me.

Reincarnation by Omeletton 2020-10-11T08:06:29Z

Fun little game, the jumping mechanic was a little bit wonky, I wasn't able to get through the whole level, about to the second ghost encounter. but there is a lot to expand upon. I would've totally liked a checkpoint system. For a first attempt I would say this was a solid one!

Looped by NesiAwesomeness 2020-10-05T19:56:47Z

I liked this one, the slowdown gives more control but at a cost. I really dig the combo system which allows you to increase your survival ability. audio is a little bit meh. but concept and gameplay makes up for it. generally I'm a fan of gameplay mechanics that limits player input, and this hit the nail on the head. well done !

Corporate by Peche et Tradition 1867 2020-10-05T19:47:35Z

Haha that feeling when a whole floor gets fired, makes you wonder, is laziness infectious? I honestly had the need to purge all the employees in the business, I know I learned one thing from this game, do not put me in a position of power! I go crazy very quickly. I will say this was a fun one! my favorite aspect is the camera bounciness and the satisfaction of getting rid of them lazy employees. Nice!

Have I Been Here Before? by BradyG 2020-10-05T18:44:10Z

This can become a really great puzzle game if expanded upon, the concept is super enjoyable. I did initially get confused with the jump key but not that it matters.
