It's fun.
Some feedback:
* the player feels like it's on ice. I think a lot more friction would have been nice. * The transition screens were a bit long too. I thought something was broken during the first one.
Not bad!
WTF. An NES game?! I've also had a family member drown. So that was kind of a bummer. But that's not your fault. Nice work!
The mac build seems fine except for a crash when trying to bulldoze. Nice work!
@jk-studio I wondered if that was going to be a problem.
This was the first game I've played today that I felt compelled to finish. Nice work! I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this.
* Great graphics * Robots sometimes seemed confused right after spawning like they didn't know which target to go to * Good sound
Good job.
Cute main character!
I didn't expect a boss fight. Pretty good!
Wow. That's bleak. Interesting game though.
Nice work! This is the first one I've played for more than 20-minutes. It was fun trying to figure out the optimal strategy. It is really hard to get more than 3m40s!
The mac link points to a windows build.
I ran into problems with the aspect ratio cutting off part of the left heart on html5. The controls also felt very floaty like the player was on a low gravity planet. Cute though!
I liked it. In the osx build, MassTransfer needed to be renamed to MassTransfer.app to make it executable. Pretty good though!
I loved the intro story. Nice work!
Wow. That was pretty hard!
I was a trackpad and couldn't click that fast!
Pretty fun. Nice work.
Nice bullethell! Loved it.
I also can't play because I'm on a mac. Looks lovely though!
Loved the voxel graphics. Nice work!
This is one of the best looking games I've played this LD. Nice work!
Loved the tumbleweed going by. That was a nice touch.
I'd really like to play, this but don't quite know how to build on mac: "gcc main.c -lncurses" seemed to make something I could run, but as soon as I got into combat with the first opponent it'd crash. Oh well. c++ noob :) I'm sure it wasn't your code.
I was excited to see that you could change your character's color! That's so fun.
I appreciated the topicalness of it and thought the circle mechanic was neat, but on html5 it'd get interrupted if the mouse accidentally went outside the app border so that was a bit frustrating. Good music and nice spritework!
Hey, it's an on-rails shooter! Heh. Pretty neat. Minecart went off the rails and got stuck though.
Nice work! Loved the music.
Bounce control was interesting. I think I would have liked a little more variety but it was good.
You did really nice work here.
Not bad! A binding of Isaac-like! I think this was a more complete game than I'd expected. Character moved slower than I'd like but still fun. I feel like I picked up the card game the second time through the sequence.
That was pretty good! I liked the concept of the ufos traveling by space-ial geometry.
Nice work in on the controls. For a platformer like this the controls need to be really tight and the main character played well. Good job!
Like pincushion said the mouse sensitivity was pretty low, which is ok cause my mouse has a quick way to adjust it without leaving the game. Speaking of my mouse, a while back I changed one of the side buttons to enable turbo and discovered it was really useful for cheating at your game. It was fun to empty a clip super-fast. :mouse_three_button:
Nice work.
The song made me snort. Also I don't think I've ever seen those kinds of perspective changes in a game before.
Short and sweet. Loved the concept and it didn't outstay its welcome. Pretty cool. At the end while celebrating my clone ran into me and you win transformed into you lose, so that was a bug but I still count it as a win.
That was cool! I enjoyed beating it. Had to switch to easy though, that first boss was hard!
I'm a fan of classic roguelikes. Nice work!
Nice graphics and loved the rope gunplay. I wasn't expecting boss fights. You got a ton done in a short period of time. Good work!
Truly great. Loved the voice acting and space model. But I can't help but wonder, are you all ok?
I didn't really get the theme or why it sometimes sent out a larger ping vs. a smaller one, but I appreciated the graphics. That intro screen was something!
The jump was pretty hard to nail. Like I never was able to complete the first level since you had to double-back on yourself, but enjoyed the graphics and sound. Nice work.
Your game doesn't appear to be public, 404 on the link.
Pretty fun. I got to 20k then realized I was a masochist, an ending or sense of progression rather would have been nice. I get though that shit is pretty bleak right now.
Exploring the ship was nice. It was really pretty gorgeous and I was really impressed by the variety of assets. I didn't understand any of the minigames and couldn't figure out how to read the post-it notes. With that said though it was an interesting experience. Loved the skyboxes.
Pretty fun. It took a little work to figure out the button triggers for the doors, and eventually got stuck on the cannon. Enjoyed the sounds and the variety of sprites though.
As the other commenter said, 404.
Pretty good! A little some variety of problems would be nice and for a moment I thought the music synced up with the button presses and I was like wow, that's so helpful, but alas, no. Anyway, I still enjoyed it and thought the animation was a lot better than 90% of the ludum dare games I've played over the years. Nice work.
I think it might have been a little more fun if you could let go while your character was traveling and drift for a bit, and could shoot off in any direction rather than an 8-way. Still though, congrats for completing your game!
