Quite bizarre! I like it
Just the idea of this made me smile. I had fun with it!
I only wish I could shoot faster.
Ah I went to get the cool gun and, without reading text, I "found a way out." Lol I liked the puzzles and the multiple endings!
This is delightfully annoying. It made me smile
This is so great! This is my first jam and I wasn't excepting something so pretty and polished! Thanks for making this. I got $6768 for my high score.
I liked the dialogue! More obstacles would've been nice.
Nice ads!
The download is missing some files it seems, I can't play it. Whatever's generated with the .exe prolly needs to be included as well.
I like the main character
It made me feel like spiderman. I feel like more air mobility would've been nice? It's a bit punishing without it.
Great game, had fun!
Great artwork! I think my game froze after the first level though?
My favorite part was when the cow exploded.
The shadow concept was cool!
I agree that the spinning was a bit much. Cute game though!
This made me hehe! Thank you for making this!
Cool concept! I would've liked a way to see the 2nd floor before completing the first floor though.
Great game! I had a hard time on the first room because I didn't know you could change directions in the air. I scrolled down and saw the gif of the first room and that cleared it up for me.
Interesting concept! I thought it was a little too difficult to complete the loops successfully.
I avoided the spike
Why is there lava in a bank
Great art! I thought the gameplay could use more feedback, it was a little hard to tell when something would hit me or not.
I had a hard understanding things until I realized I was the circle
The web link gives me a 404. Is it public?
Scared me! Good Job!
Well done! I was able to complete it. I had a hard time deciphering the audio hints even with headphones on though.
It made me sad
It is always good to be rude to Capitalism. ๐
Nice graphics! The gameplay was good once I figured it out, but on the first level as soon as it told me I could dig I just dug straight down for like a minute before I figured out I wasn't supposed to do that haha.
I had lot's of fun! It was an engaging game and the music was cool.
Beautiful game! Thanks for makin it
Very cute! Made me smile :) I liked the pitter patter of their feets. One thing I would say is the font was a little too small and hard to read.
That was deep
I thought the art was really pretty! The game play was a little confusing. When I died from pollution it felt like it was random and it didn't make sense that the squid made me hungrier, but overall the game was pretty cool and the art was really effective.
Cute game, I liked the intro cutscene! I didn't get that you had to be near the guys to tether them at first, but aside from that the gameplay was effective.
This game is cool! I thought that since the gun makes you move, the click and drag thing is kind of redundant.
Made me laugh, when the mismatching colors bit came up! haha
I'm a pirate, yay!
Screenshot 2021-10-04 142845.png
the web build didn't work for me in chrome on windows 10 (no ui). but the download worked fine! it seems like i was able to successfully connect all the blob people to eachother.
216.gif
hi! i'd play your game, but windows won't let me :-(
Screenshot 2021-10-08 182957.png
glad i found this, it's one of my favorite entries! my only complaint would be that the tiles can be a little hard to read gameplay wise (it's difficult to tell what's ground and what's an empty pit at times). thanks for makin this!
Screenshot 2021-10-06 174241.png
it was pretty tough, but i was able to complete it! at first i felt it a bit tedious to wait after every time i moved, but i think it came together more so in the later levels. solid entry!
Screenshot 2021-10-07 111507.png
simple and well executed!
Screenshot 2021-10-04 152042.png
I loved this! Made me smile real good :D
i think i achieved enlightenment. thanks!
214.gif
great art and audio! although i felt like the gameplay became a bit frustrating. maybe i'm just bad, but i couldn't really react to a lot of the hazards, so it just felt like luck. i think with a few tweaks this could be really great for noobs like me.
i made a delicious potion!
Screenshot 2021-10-05 171156.png
at first i thought the dash was gonna be like a "celeste" dash, but it was more like a "multiply whatever speed you have" kinda dash, which i've never really seen before. cool game! i'm fine with the game being difficult and trolly, but i wish the collision box of the player character better matched the sprite. just things like that would be cool.
Screenshot 2021-10-08 172021.png
i've never felt so much accomplishment
Screenshot 2021-10-09 111102.png
@pixelydian yeah lol they jump randomly so sometimes they do end up herding themselves... i found that having to herd too many was frustrating so i tried to stay on the side of too easy rather than the alternative. i'd prolly fix this up more given the time.
@betamorfosis i'm glad you had a good time! i did in fact make the music :D. the only stuff not made by me i think was the skyboxes, those are from free asset packs. i would have made my own crappy versions if i had the time.
@magnusfurcifer yay! im glad you had fun. and thanks for sharing your drawing, it is beautiful ๐
@itzemii thanks for playing! i have no idea how you got 4 parts, there should only be 3 ๐ค
yay i won! i loved the voice acting!
Screenshot 2021-10-05 122531.png
the art was great and i liked the idea! though unfortunately i had a hard time understanding the gameplay.
I am now a front flip master, good job!
Screenshot 2021-10-05 120615.png
haha i win >:D
Screenshot 2021-10-10 123531.png
maybe im just dumb, but i had a hard time pressing space and the arrow keys every x seconds. its hard to count seconds when your listening to the music (i ended up just mashing and that seemed to work haha). but i loved finding all the different hot demons :3
best llama stacking game i've every played
art and audio were great! when you highlight something to be fixed it would be nice if the text was larger and in the center of the screen, i almost didn't notice it.
unfortunately when i went to fix one of the thingies my game crashed (i suppose that is on theme though :>)
Screenshot 2021-10-06 183358.png
awesome entry! i really enjoyed pushing the bad guys around. only problem is i wish there was more :-(
currently #11 on the leaderboard, so i'm a pretty big deal
this game is awesome! what a great entry. the only thing i would say is i wish the game was a little more fast paced, i felt myself feeling impatient at times waiting for the bad guys to show up.
i think i was able to make it to the end, despite the crashes (probably on purpose?). i ended up just guessing the coordinates until i got to the end :3 very cool game!
simple and effective, good music too!
i enjoyed the hectic gameplay, thanks for makin this! i didn't know pushing buttons could be so engaging
awesome entry! only thing i would say is i wish the tables were bigger and moved slower. it was little tough for me to land dashes correctly.
Screenshot 2021-10-06 175714.png
this is a really funny idea, i just wish there was more to it in the execution.
new world record??
Screenshot 2021-10-04 155208.png
very spooky, solid entry! i was able to complete the game, but i found it pretty difficult to find everything. it would be nice if you only needed like 70% of the proof and not 100% or something like that.
solid entry, the art and the music were well done! i did end up running past every one, they were too cute :^(
solid entry! only thing i would say is i wish that the goals weren't randomized, i never felt like i could achieve any of them. and also it did become pretty laggy a duration into the game.
Cool game! I liked the cool spaceship interiors! A few notes I would add, the screen skake is crazy, it made me feel a little sick, though I was able to escape. And I couldn't really hear the dialogue at all, you would probably want to make it so the dialogue isn't affected by 3d space so it is more clear (subtitles would be great to!). Oh and I liked the music too, good job on that!
it took me a while to get a handle of things, but i was able to complete the game!
Screenshot 2021-10-06 194156.png
it was a little frustrating but i was able to make it to the top!
Screenshot 2021-10-06 200730.png
I think the core idea is pretty interesting, I've never seen anything like it and it fit the theme well! I'd say that having F1 be the "show instructions" button was a mistake, because in browser F1 opens a new tab. I also thought the font was difficult to read. But congrats on making a cool new puzzle game!
very well executed art! although it felt like it was over before it even started, would've loved for there to be more.
i don't appreciate you reminding me of my own mortality, but cool game! i did my best to avoid eating the pills but i guess that is inevitable
i'm astonished by the graphical quality on display here! i've never seen something so "triple A" looking for Ludum Dare. As constructive feedback i would say the gameplay wasn't too exciting, and i have a bit of a pet peeve when the same one liners are used more then once. but aside from that i was very impressed, great job!
short and sweet! if you really wanted to tighten up the controls a bit you could add some things like "coyote time" where there's a small window of time that you can jump after you leave the ground. they did a lot of things like this in celeste and it really helps!
there's a thread about it on twitter if you're interested https://twitter.com/maddythorson/status/1238338574220546049?lang=en
solid entry! only thing i would say is, it would've been nice if there was music during gameplay. aside from that i had fun being the best waiter i could be :-)
i was able to stabilize the mind! yay! the "try again" feature didn't seem to work for me, it would restart but i wouldn't be able to move. and whenever i add something like shooting to my games i usually make it repeat when you hold the button as opposed to mashing, because mashing is bad for your hands :(. but anyways a good entry that i was able to complete ๐
Screenshot 2021-10-07 105049.png
very good presentation! just wish there was more :-(
very simple! not much wrong with it, I do wish there was more to it though.
Screenshot 2021-10-21 140852.png
i got pretty close! a restart button would've been nice, but good job!
Screenshot 2021-10-08 180457.png
I loved this! I was waiting for the "unstable" part of this to come in and when it did it really made me giggle! hee hee! I guess the one thing I would say is the white font on top of the light tree leaves for the current score was pretty hard to read. But thanks for making this wholesome game, I was worried the games for the theme "unstable" would be bummers.
Here's my high score, I did my best!
Screenshot 2021-10-04 140925.png
very cute entry, it made me giggle! [spoilers] i did figure out you could cheese the game pretty easily just by making a loop and running through it endlessly. perhaps if you go through a tile a certain amount of times it gets destroyed? i dunno. oh i'd also say that it was kinda hard to tell what the different tiles did based on the art. it would have been nicer if that was initially clearer. but yeah great music and art! good job ๐
i thought the graphics were really cute! and i thought the chill beach vibes were really great!
i didn't find it particularly difficult, i was able to build an unstoppable wall of sandapults after the first few rounds and i didn't have to do much of anything after that.
sand.png
after a few tries i was able to get my name on the board! at first i thought the little red flames enemies drop was bad so avoided them, but later i figured out that it was health ๐คช
i liked the music and the gameplay was effective, i think the high score board added a lot. i'd only like to see some more variety and stuff.
crystal.png
very cute game! it made me smile :)
i only wish there was more to it, it was pretty easy to keep the balloon up. but i thought all the different ways you could keep the balloon up were pretty witty!
doggo2.png
i made it over a year, i'd call that a success! i was a bit confused by the general gameplay at first, but after a while i was able to figure things out. i couldn't ever find the stairs so i was just stuck on the first floor the whole time. also i liked the designs for the characters!
vamp.png
it took a few tries but i was able to complete it! it was fun figuring out how to keep the moon away while managing resources. it's funny, i often felt overwhelmed and frantic when the moon would get closer, spamming repulsors and making things worse haha.
i noticed there wasn't any music so i just put this on in the background haha.
ld50_zork.png
i was able to complete the game, and *mostly* without killing anyone! aside from the grappling hook i thought the controls were pretty intuitive. i almost thought the game ended at the first flat area because i couldn't figure out how to use the grappling hook
halberd.png
this was wild haha. between the music and the art, this left for a memorable experience, i liked this a lot. i did find the gameplay pretty confusing, but that kind of added to the experience for me
@apphons6 i don't know what undertale is, but i challenge you and anyone else to beat my time
https://youtu.be/GUtigTTvoB8
@pev yeah lol there's usually at least some amount of dignity in the stuff i make... but this is really the only thing i could think of for the theme that sounded like fun to me so i just went with it ๐คช
@purpoappo it's the countdown until you poop your pants ๐ฉ๐ maybe i could've come up with a better label... something like "clench strength"? lol i dunno
i loved this entry, what a cool idea!
i have no feedback, but i hope you like my bug i drew
bug.png
cute little game! i was able to get like 40 points on one level ๐. pretty simple and well executed entry, not much to say about it. more visual feedback is always nice i guess, maybe the walls could glow when you hover them? i dunno.
great entry! i liked how the music always felt like it was going up, kinda like the endless staircase music super mario 64.
gampa.png
awesome entry! the narration was great and there were plenty of surprises! i was able to make it 38m. i only wish there was more!
this is the first game i've played for the jam and we're off to a great start! this was a great entry. the second i opened the game and there was this weird/funny musical gibberish talk it put me in a good mood.
i suppose my only comment would be that the memorize the symbol mini-game wasn't super clear at first, i was able to figure it out on the second try though.
good job! ๐
it would've been nice if there was a way to replace troops, because i did find my self in a situation where none of my troops could fight someone at the door and there was nothing i could do because all the spots were taken
i thought the game and the art were pretty cute! i'd say that the game really doesn't give you a change to get your bearings when you start, it kinda comes at you fast at first but i was able to figure things. maybe i'd suggest slowing the bar down a bit and/or making it so it goes up and down as opposed to filling up and immediately firing off. but yeah i liked the idea and i thought it was cool that it progressively got harder, with the globe spinning around and stuff. good job! ๐
ice.png
great entry!
at first i thought i just lost randomly, but it looks like i reached the end based off of the text. in general it would've been nice if there was more visual feedback, like a when you got hit and stuff.
but this entry made me smile and i'm glad i got to play it!
Screenshot 2022-04-05 135611.png
i love this idea! it fits really well with the theme, i guess it is inevitable that babio always saves cheap ๐คช
the game explains itself really well. i did figure out around the 10 minute mark that the game was pretty easy. i made quite a few castles very spread apart, so i guess i could play it kinda like cookie clicker... i'll check on it tomorrow and see if babio makes it ๐จโ๐ง
good job on this entry! it worked pretty well and i liked the premise.
i guess i'd say that it would've been nice for there to be more visual feedback, i wasn't sure what the blue bar was, how much health i had, or if it was okay to just let the aliens fly by.
i thought the audio and the graphics were really well executed! this is a good lookin game! gameplay was simple as well.
for my feedback it was kinda hard to tell if the robot was carrying a battery since i was mostly seeing their back the whole time.
battery.png
also i did have an issue when first booting up the game. i have 2 monitors, one landscape the other portrait. i had a problem when opening the game where it would convert the main landscape monitor to portrait and would display the game sideways. i was able to fix it by temporarily disabling my portrait monitor. not a big deal, but thought i'd let ya know ๐
great entry! i wasn't expecting the twist. the movement felt a little unwieldy, but in a fun way. it felt really good once you reached top speed and the feeling of "oh please just make this jump" really added to the vibes.
unfortunately it seems that the retry button on i think the 4th level doesn't work, so i had to stop playing there. i don't think i can reach the end without making any mistakes ๐คช but i'll check back later in case it's fixed!
i was a little confused at first, but after a while i got the hang of it. it did feel kind of random whenever the customer would leave. the music and the graphics for the items are great! good job ๐
ld_morth2.png
great music, great monkey noises. what else could a game need?
monke.png
i was able to survive for quite a while! i thought that with my strategy that i could play indefinitely but it seems like it gets more difficult over time. i'm happy to see that! overall a solid entry ๐
fire.png
i really liked the art style and the atmosphere! there wasn't much in terms of gameplay, but i appreciate the chill pace this game offers. i mostly just felt like an on-looker. i ended up just leaving this on in the background, checking up on the blups every once and a while.
i would say that the pure black text could be a little hard to read at times, but aside from that the game was pretty clear.
the second i hit the play button the enemy moved across the screen at like a million miles and hour and punched the crap out of me. it scared me, but in like a funny way lol.
good job! i thought this was simple platformer executed well. i suppose i could say that during those "now updating" dialogues the platforms would still lower, so your first time through a level would be a little harder. oh and the power distribution feature was interesting, but i didn't find myself using it very much.
and this is prolly my fault but i didn't know there was sound at first because it's muted by default haha.
anyways solid entry! ๐
it seems i was able to find an infinite cow defense strategy! i would've left it running in the background but the game pauses when you click off, so i just called it at 40 :) ๐ฎ
pretty solid entry, i can only say that i would've like more in terms of visual feedback. at first i thought the bombs would hurt me if i got too close to them when they exploded
ufo_cows.png
very cute and simple game, i suppose it would've been nice to see more variety. here's my high score!
bird.png
i thought this was a lot of fun! it kinda reminded me of old call of duty zombies in a way. lots of running around and managing different issues.
i will say at first i had a hard time getting my bearings, just like figuring out where everything is and what i was supposed to do. maybe a map would've been nice? it also would've been nice if there was some more visual feedback in terms of when things went wrong. maybe like a text log would've worked, like "x aliens have landed, reactor 2 needs repair" as opposed to the flashing symbols and colors. oh and i noticed my mouse was invisible in the pause menu, so it was hard to change the mouse sensitivity and stuff.
i played through it a few times so i could try out different strategies, i figured out the sniper rifle was pretty over-powered. lotta fun, great job ๐
i thought the scenes were interesting and well executed! i was able to complete it, though i'd say i found the puzzles a little confusing. also, i fell off on the yellow planet and had to restart the game because i was falling for forever.
