Arcade feeling! Simple but fun :) I had the feeling that the input is lagging a bit in the html version

Arcade feeling! Simple but fun :) I had the feeling that the input is lagging a bit in the html version
Thats a lot of cubes! Sadly the game runs very slow on my machine. The look-through space ship is convenient to see what is coming :)
Super cute and cool! :) It can even be played as two player game which is nice! The collision boundaries seem to be a bit to large
Great game! Lots of content! :) Some of the environment art confused me a bit where I was not sure if I can walk on something or if it is a wall
Very cool idea! I like the time management + mining fusion very much :) The controls are unfortunately a little glitchy/unresponsive.
Very cool concept! It would be nice to find different kind of bones so that there is a bit more exploration? And maybe the level design could be fully vertical :)
Very cool! I love the crisp art style. The character movement feels nice (has a lot of weight to it but in a positive way) Level 3 is insanely hard!
Nice! I even found an iPhone in a wreck :D I had a hard time to get used to the controls - but no one learned to sail the legendary Gailbrush Deepwwod in a minute!
There seems to be a small bug in the WebGL build - if you restart the game after loosing I was unable to move the ship
Interesting puzzle game! :) It really is challenging to understand the sequences. I think it would be nice to have instant transitions instead of waiting for the lifts to open and close
Nice game! :) I catched myself holding my breath while diving :D The jitter on the movement distracted me at first but now I thinkt it is an effective progress mechanic. I would have liked to have a tiny bit of light at the beginning - I got no light upgrade (or I didn't find it) so it was spooky dark down there! The music was a great addition to conter the stress when the air is running out :)
Very nice! Crazy polished for a game jam game! The transition between main menu and game is really neat :) I was a bit sad that the play grid is not deeper
I like the retro graphics! Even though the very simple gameplay it is interesting to go deeper to explore :)
This is very cool! I also have never seen this type of gameplay before It probably would ruin the fun but I wished to have a pause button to plan my next move
Nice! Depth-first-gameplay :D I think it would be very cool if you automatically continue at the point of the level above near the point you died. So that you don't have to do the whole level again?
Nice and challenging! Art and Music fit nicely together :) There should be an easy-mode where you have 3 lives or something for people like me :D
I really like the art style!
Nice! Very effective mechanics :) I too had some difficulties being fast enough Would be nice to be able to activate the buttons from a distance :)
Thank you all for your feedback! :)
I removed the WebGL build because there were some weird stuttering bugs going on that compleletly destroyed the experience :/ At first I thought it was a cursor locking thing but I guess its just some loading issues I was not able to fix.. I am glad that the video did its job :)
Maybe I am just slow but this is very hard! At least the first level should maybe have a bit more time to get the hang of it. Its fun though! :) Might be nice to have an indicator if a double-tap stone was already tapped once? I am getting minecraft flashbacks :D
Nice concept! :) My team and I thought about a very similar idea at first. It may have been cool to unlock ingredients along the way but on the other hand the search aspect of the game is also fun! The scoring system unfortunately is not very obvious - longer recipies should give more point (maybe they do?) or clearly a larger reward in some way :) I like the retro feeling of the game :)
Very nice entry! :) The visuals and audio create a great mood! The dialogues may be too long in some cases (But I guess that is only true when viewed in a game jam voting phase where we all play games non stop :D)
Congrats to finishing your first jam! :) The gameplay is basic but effective - There might however be a system that checks if there is still a path that can be taken? On my first two rounds the way was blocked by fire without any chance to get through :(
Oh wow thats so silly, I love it! I am impressed what you did in such a short time!
Nice! I survived 9 days before the zombie thingies got me - but I found a radio!
Love the backstory :D I too encountered a few bugs in the web-gl build but it ran stable for a few waves :) I found the controls to be pretty difficult for some reason but I like the slow projectile mechanics :) a bit like an inverse bullet-hell game :D
The tooltips are very handy! (Haven't seen any until now in a jam game) I too lost way to quickly! :D
Very funny game! I missed the invisible sandwich :D Some sound would have made the game even better!
Wow! Very nice concept! I like the chaotic nature of the emerging gameplay.
Thank you for your feedback! :)
@solanumteam The core mechanic is to sell chains of items that have an overlap of properties. If you sell a magic hat you can sell another clothing item or another magic item and so on. The customer leaves if you can not offer any item that has overlap with the last sold item. And then there is the scroll of confusion which can come handy at some point ;)
Nice game! In some situations the movement was a bit buggy. The instant death is fitting but a bit sudden in combination with the discrete map movement. +1 Humor for the Wilhelm scream as well!
Got some Pen&Paper vibes from the game. I like that it could be played with real cards as well!
Very nice game! Congrats on your first jam game! Feels very complete regarding concept, mechanics, music and sounds! After I understood what to do the game felt a bit slow
Very great game! I like the style and music! It took a bit to understand how to fix the boat (The numbers are a bit hard to read in low graphics settings).
Nice! I like the core mechanic very much! Too keep the overview one must move but this changes the game state - At first I tried to always find the fattest piggy and try to stay minimally below its weight but this introduces the danger of loosing the overview - the next strategy I tried is to wait until about 10 seconds left and then balance the weight based on this more "static" game state :)
Very interesting mechanics! It took me a while to get the hang of it but it makes a nice twist on a classic game! :) I found that a "tunnel-tactic" works very well (staying at the borders and tunnel to the other side)
Wow impressive! The audio commentary gives a great polish - the portal-time-travel-thing going on is a bit mind breaking but very cool! I had some major light bugs but that gave the game a next level reality breaking feeling :D Awesome job!
zzzap! nice Entry :) The controls are as mentioned a bit hard to get used to but I like the general gameplay, graphics and the voice sfx! :)
It took me a moment to understand but I like the concept very much! It needs a bit more balancing (or an easy mode for people like me) The graphics are simple but effective
Thats pretty hard! (Or I am bad at this :D) Nice game though :) The visuals are very nice and clean Would be cool to sync the music with the tile layout such that you have to "dance" to the music to avoid the forbiden tiles
@mudlee thats strange :( Theoretically you should be able to control the characters by the up and down arrow keys. We had the problem that the game did not load on an older version of firefox (maybe because of the webgl version) but that might be a different problem..
@elzeu it is possible to rearrange the Instruments at any time :) just drag and drop them between the gremlinz. You can also unequip them by just dropping them somewhere
Nice graphics and dialogue options :) 10 seconds is pretty short for reading but I like it :)
Nice! I like the mood :) It gets pretty creepy when you don't look around all the time which is nice!
Awesome! The gameplay concept is fantastic and fits nicely with the theme :) The graphics are cool and the way the mechanics are presented through humorous conversations is a nice extra! One of the most solid entries I've seen this year :)
Nice! I really like the art style :) The art reminds me of some learning games I played as a child :D As mentioned above the controls are a bit unintuitive but all in all a very solid entry!
Feels very smooth and polished! :) It was a bit confusing for me what is allowed and what not but the increasing difficultiy through the levels helps to manage the complexity well.
Nice visuals and gameplay :) I had some trouble getting multiple boxes into the delivery spot but I guess thats kind of the gameplay idea? :D At first I thought it would be too easy to deliver everything in 10 seconds but when the box count increases it gets substantially harder :)
I also had some flash game vibes mixed with bop it :D Nice and funny game. I like the graphics and zoom transitions
Nice job! A lot of content in this short time :) The controls feel good and I like the simple but consistent style
Nice! The gameplay is basic but easy to understand and fun :) I like the use of image generation models for the artwork. I expect that they play a very big role in the coming generation of computer games at least for the rapid prototyping phase and probably for procedural content as well.
Interesting! In my first round I was very confused and tried to stay away from the evil plants. After a while it was nearly impossible to control them - in my second round I won after 20 seconds :D I imagine that a PvP version would be fun (as said before) I like the graphics - has some arcade vibes :)
Very cool concept! I imagine it being very epic with a graphics and controls update.
Wow! Thats amazingly polished for a game jam game! I really like the mechanic - played against the computer but will definetly try out the multi player :) The pixel art is very nice and the robot voice is cute

(sorry for the multi comment! My internet had a hick up and there seems to be no option for deleting comments?..)
I had to hold myself back making a farming game as well :D I see no problem with focussing on some aspects like sprites in a game jam as it should be a learning experience and it is very cool that you still managed to finish something that can be played! The farm has some serious Stardew Valley vibes :) At first I thought, that the city is way to big but when I returned to the farm I directly had a feeling of "coming home" so that would definetly work in the next version of the game!
Interesting concept! It is definetly a bit too fast in the beginning what makes it hard to understand what is going on especially because there are so many things to look at. But overall a solid entry!
As others mentioned before there is no clear relation between the actions and the results but that does somehow fit the setting very well :D
Cool artstyle. Nice combination of pixel art and 3D - would look very nice with some light fx :) The gameplay was very stresful :D But the general concept is nice. I like that the smoke can be seen from far away to plan the next moves. I had the feeling that it is impossible to get in control of the situation however (but maybe that was the idea :D)
I always asked myself what it would feel like to be corn running through the fields in horror. Now I finally have answers! Cool entry! I find the controls to be a bit strange though, or I have not understood how to get the corn going straight
Thank you all for your nice comments :)
@reivilibre Yes thats very true :D Unfortunately I had not enough time to implement more gameplay I had plans to add some research possibilities and better solar drones etc but as always in a game jam the hour has only 60 minutes that feel like 10 minutes
Wow! Very cool and relaxing :) I like how one can choose to play the game slow or fast depending on how many plants to manage. There are some situations in which it is hard to click on the right part of the plant but this is also the case in reality so maybe not a problem :D
Nice work! I enjoyed the boss fight :) Controls feel a bit strange in some situations but I think it fits the mouse setting :D
Very cool style! I also like the idea. But as others mentioned before the randomness makes it too hard especially on the tight deadline. I think the mechanic could definetly work when there are less variables to control and/or one could somehow be a bit selective during harvest.
Very nice! We had potato beetles on our potato field this year so this game triggered me a bit :D I like the combination of defense and farming. Would be very nice in a coop setting :)
Solid entry! Very creepy mood :D I like this interpretation of harvest. The art works are so joyful what makes it even creepier :D The dragging mechanic is a bit weird - I first thought it does not work beccause there is no visual feedback when you start dragging
Fantastic! I love it :D This is so cute and weird and fun. Definetly one of my favourits this game jam!
Nice setting :D I like the peaceful style :) As others mentioned before the controls are hard at some points and I wished to be a bit faster - overall a nice entry
Cool but dark concept :D I like the general game mechanic but the controls are too hard and I often got lost in space. I think the game could be a lot better to handle if it is like ten times slower
Generally a cool concept and easy to understand gameplay. I would have preferred a mechanic that somehow speeds up the process. Especially in for the first fields the clicking can be done in a few seconds and the waiting time does not decrease by having more fields so there is not a direct incentive to have more fields (I hope it becomes clear what I want to say :D) I do like the idea of automating the farming process from the beginning on though :) The floating menus are also a cool design choice!
Very cool! As others mentioned before there are some tricky situations with colliders and controls but overall a solid entry where graphics and sound fit very well.
I really like the art style :) The controls are hard but one can get used to them after a few tries. The energy beam is awesome :D
Very cool :) It was a bit hard for me to understand what to do at first but I very much like these type of games! It would be nice if you could find some gold etc by mining (or it is and I was just unlucky?)
Very nice! I used to play sliding puzzles in school so that triggered some memories :D The only thing I would change is the visualization of the missing tile. I found it a bit hard to distinguish it so it interrupted the flow a few times.
That was a plot twist :D
Thank you all so much for your nice comments and input! This means a lot to me <3
@custodi thats odd! What browser do you use? I tested it on Chrome, Edge and Safari and had no such issues so far. Do you have another input device connected such as a gamepad?
Very nice! For some reason it gave me some vibes of the final fantasy tactics game for the game boy advance :D Although the art is partially done using AI it is still an accomplishment to get a coherent look out of it which I think you managed to do :) The story elements are very cool and created the base for an interesting fantasy world :)
Wow thats hard! :D Cool concept! The hardest thing in game development is finishing something so you already done that! Everything else is details :)
Cool idea that leads to interesting game mechanics!
Impressive that you managed to implement a multiplayer game for the jam! It would be interesting to know what exactly your game creation tool is/does :) I am very curious how these AI tools evolve in the near future!
Nice! Even though the game feels very grindy during the first days it still is fun! Some ways of looking ahead where asteroids might be would have been cool but on the other hand, flying into the depths without knowing whats coming fits the theme better :)
Note: (At least for me) the embedded webgl loads but does not start up. Maybe you have data caching activated in the player settings? This must be unchecked: datachaching.png if you already unchecked it ignore my comment :D
Very cool :) Had the feeling that the ratio of torpedo to power cards (or other ways to increase power) could get a litte more balancing. Overall solid entry! :)
At first I did not understand what I was doing but I still had fun :D Interesting approach to a farming game :)
I absolutely love the idea! I was however not able to get control following your instructions. I really want to try this! Could there be anything obvious I am missing? (I have never worked with desmos)
Love the casting animation! :D Would have been nice to have some music to make it into a rhyhtm game or to vary the mini game a bit :)
