Pretty fun game, got to round 47, took me some time to understand how to play, thought it got stuck at first then saw the small shortcuts under the buttons. Thought they were just abilities because the first one i saw was the laser. Overall it was pretty good
Only feedback i have is that it would have felt great if you could have used your keyboard for movement instead of mixing mouse and keyboard. Except that it was a great experience and felt polished. Well done!

VERY NICE!!! some visual feedback on the UI when you hovered/clicked buttons would be nice - it took me a bit to figure out the controls. anyway this is a fun and super replayable little game that is much more than the sum of its parts. tactical turn-based strategy with simple mechanics requiring complex decision making - this reminds me a lot of the android game Hoplite. or, yknow, chess. good stuff! I'd suggest making some of the mechanics (rockets, shields) be something you gain over time, in the form of powerups or something.
Very nice game! Congrats on your first jam game! Feels very complete regarding concept, mechanics, music and sounds! After I understood what to do the game felt a bit slow

How come this game only got 5-6 votes? Sounds like a great game to me! Maybe the music is a bit crushing and the graphics could use some improvement, but the rest, it's a lot of fun, seriously! For your first time with this engine it's great, I'm looking forward to you participating again. I insist, I would improve the graphics and music a bit, but the rest is great, seriously. Great game!

I hope you will get your 20 votes, try to vote and comments on other games, you still have 1 day. You can also publish a blog post and ask for help ! :) Nice entry, I don't have much time to play more but I managed to survive 36 turns (I died because I walked on diagonal over an explosion....) Look fine and polished to me, you deserve to get a rank, so keep up and go give vote and feedback ! :)

Fun little game. I got killed quickly at first because I (stupidly) thought the bombs were batteries and kept trying to get them (oops).
The only critique I have is that if the number of turns you survive is effectively your score, then perhaps it would be better to end the game when you run out of power rather than have to wait until you are killed (by chance).
Well done!
This is really, really well made. The art style is very clear, the music is good, and there's lots of movement and personality. The game also has an impressive amount of strategic depth, although there is a bit missing. The obvious issue is that its really easy to avoid dying. Even sitting still after running out of power, I just watched the enemies struggle to hit me for turn after turn. It's a wild guess, but I think this game would be quite a bit more fun if the board were one or two squares smaller. It would make the enemies a more present threat, and it would be easier to reach the batteries on average. It's a bit frustrating to run out of charge on the way to a battery, after all.
I loved how it was an action and puzzle game in one - loved the roguelike approach to turns.

Love the look and sound of the game, I did find the pacing was bit off though, it takes a long time to move to collect the batteries.
This was great! Surprisingly so. The art style was a lot of fun. The gameplay was also fun too
