Let's War! by SethR 2026-04-08T07:33:45Z
Wow! I just discovered this game by one of the Ludum Dare legends, and it's honestly so much fun! xD

Wow! I just discovered this game by one of the Ludum Dare legends, and it's honestly so much fun! xD
Wow!!!! Incredible entry for LD 47! I didn't know it! You deserved the second place on mood! Congrats for these!
I have seen your code but I don't find WebRTC but Socket. With WebRTC you can do multiple P2P and you only need a small relying server.
The truth is that you never disappoint, your quality in the games is very high! I still keep Dog++ very fondly and this one doesn't fall short either! I'm glad you were able to fix the multiplayer and HTTPS that bothered you so much.
I love your art and how you make the games! You have a unique style and this one fulfills it along with the rest! The game is interesting and has me hooked in that mood. A great game, awesome, really!
I almost broke my space bar! It's funny but some win condition is missing. Good entry!
Wow! I love these kind of games! They hook me a lot. Did you consider some kind of tutorial in the post version? Congratulations for the game, I love it!
I use GNU/Linux, it looks nice and I would love to play it!
Wow, great story! You are very good as a writer although what they have said is also true, more mini-games would be great. But it is also true that this gender is defined and clear. Do you work for a video game company? Because the story is so good and maybe you can work in some major video game company. I don't understand how there can be AAA games with such a bad story!
I insist, great game and it is surprising that you have done all this in 72 hours and that it is even procedural!
What a great game and what a great team you have made! Perhaps at the beginning with so many instructions I got a bit confused, perhaps I would like a tutorial or something more guided. But considering that it is a Jam, it is normal. Seriously, awesome game!
Great game concept, maybe at first it was difficult for me to handle it but then very well. Great game! By the way, are one of the sprites from Another World (Out of this World) game? They look a lot alike!
I think it's a bit buggy, I hear the enemy dying several times when there is none. The graphics are impressive, on the same level as Terraria, really. It seems incredible to me that this whole game has been made in 72 hours, congratulations!
Wow! amazing game! At first I didn't understand very well but in a very short time I understood everything! The animations are very good and in the end I was able to save all the animals afterwards. :-)
The character controls are a bit fiddly, but the rest is great. The idea that I'm going to be eaten by lava is incredible and it fits very well with the theme. The lava physics are also very well done. Great game.
Interesting mechanics! Maybe the player rescaling is not good. You didn't think about the final resolution of the character? Good game!
At first it is difficult to understand the idea of the game a bit but once understood it is amazing to enjoy the story, great game!
One of the most original and fun games I've played in this Jam! The truth is that the game is simple but it is so original and so much fun that it deserves to be among the best! It reminds me of when I played the Atari 2600, which were very simple games but straight to the point, just fun, nothing more. Spectacular game!
Please, build for GNU/Linux and/or HTML5, it seems so interesting!
@yellow, thanks a lot! I'll try It!
Impressive! The game is amazing! How have you been able to make this art in just 72 hours? In addition, the game is very fun, it has my full appreciation! Great game! Congratulations!
Are you a film director? You remind me of Kojima! A developer closely linked to cutscenes and matching them to music and being playable. It's impressive, seriously! !! Congratulations!! I understand that the animations will be with Mixamo, right? And the music? Love it! Great game!
Wow! Great game to be Compo! I liked it a lot and it fits very well with the theme. Maybe the music at the beginning is a bit shrill with that sound, but it's a very personal opinion of mine. I insist, great game and I congratulate you, really.
The idea is great! The game is very innovative! Maybe I find it a bit difficult to move some walls and the first levels I don't know how to be below par. I insist, great game!
@caeonosphere, yes, I tried several times again and I understand all. It's a bit confusing at start but now I see all the funny it is. It's an impressive game, seriously.
Wow! The mood is very good and the atmosphere of the game too!! I think the speed of the texts is fine but I don't know if others may find it slower or faster. Is there brightness control? I haven't seen it. I play outside at the sun during the day and it's hard for me! I loved playing it! Great game!
Wow! Hilarious game! Seriously, something so simple can be so much fun and this is it! I love that it goes straight to the point and that the mechanics are simple, escape from the mother. The theme is fun and with a little more animation and softer music it would be even better than it is. How come you don't already have 20 votes? I think it's a great game!
At first it was hard for me to understand how to put the roads but then well. Still, it's a bit hard for me to control. Overall, very good game!
Wow! One of the games with the best mood! I love it, this game is great and the setting is very good. The graphics are very suggestive and give that feeling of anguish. There are few games that are obscure and they are greatly appreciated. I really liked this game!
The idea is great and I loved it, it's very addictive! The music is a bit off (I'm not a big fan of procedurals). Also if I could vote for all your work in reporting your process I would vote you with the highest mark, great game!
The music is a bit of a grind and the graphics don't mesh very well with each other. Great game though! I had a lot of fun and that's the important thing. I love the green gun. I think it would be great to be able to balance more the power of the weapons. Nice game, seriously!
@dkmk100, yep, the green one. That is, the green is unbalanced but not the rest. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding!
Simple but direct game! I want to play again but I think I have to restart again. Maybe I would adjust the difficulty a bit to make it more progressive and not so frustrating. Still, great game!
I've had so much fun! The truth is that I'd like to be with someone to make it easier for me, ha ha. Seriously, everything is very well packaged and I don't see any inconsistency with the rest of the sections. Great game!
Fun game! Maybe I'd upscale the game to make it look better! Great game!
Impressive! Very addictive, very good music and proceduralcontent! Why are there no executables? I look forward to playing it with a good performance! Seriously, congratulations, great game!
Wow, a game in Java, I didn't expect that! Well, there are tons of people who play Minecraft on Java. However, I haven't been able to play it because I'm on GNU/Linux and I didn't expect that I would need such a modern version of Java. Could you upload screenshots? This way you could attract attention and make people want to play your game even more.
Very fun game! The interface is outstanding and I have been very hooked. It is true that I miss a little more progress in the game. I didn't know umbrellas helped me at first! Great game!
The game is very good! It is true that certain aspects of the game need to be polished but the idea and the concept is good! Lack of time perhaps in those days? I think it's a great concept that should be developed further! Great game!
Very good remake! What I would put is a larger screen size at start with or recommend full size. I mean, when playing I was seeing that the scaling was not adequate but the problem was not that, but not putting it on full screen. It is my recommendation. Still, great game!
I'd have liked a score or a little clearer controls and graphics a little more consistent. Still, the idea is a good idea and it's playable and fun.
A hidden gem! Great concept! It doesn't take wonders to make a fun game and this is it! It would lack a bit of sound effects to make it more interesting, but the rest is great. I love the Steering Behavior of the ship and the narrative is so good. Congratulations!
First 99 and then 105! I love the animation and the game itself. I miss a little music and game adjusted to the theme. Overall, nice and great game!
Fun and addictive game! The music is very engaging and fits the theme. Maybe I would increase the difficulty faster. Still, great funny game!
Great mood! I like the audios, I laughed a lot. A little difficult to know at first but then it is perfectly understood. Great game!
Good game! I like the controls, they are responsive and the music and graphics are very good. The game is very fun! And the name of the game couldn't be more appropriate to the theme! LOL!
Fun, original and challenging game. Maybe the music is a bit regular but not because it's bad, but because the rest is so good. Amazing game!
Simple but fun game! Unbelievable but I love the sound effect of the ice being released. Perhaps it would make the objective of the game a bit clearer and how it affects the igloo by putting sunbeams, for example. Great game!
Would it be possible to play it on GNU/Linux or on the web? I am so excited to try it out!
I really want to play it, could it be for GNU/Linux? It looks so good!
It looks so good! I really want to play it! I'm going to try to get one VR glasses!
I have laughed a lot! The truth is that I love this type of game that uses your own voice because it gives a lot of humor. And on top of that I had fun! Great game!
After Blackout comes this wonder from Fresh Games who are back at the top of this Ludum Dare! Impressive how a team organizes itself so well and in 72 hours they release a game that, being a little longer, would be among the best rated on Steam. Great game, congratulations to the whole team!
It was hard for me at first to understand how the game works. But once understood... what a great game, what a great art and what a good idea. The atmosphere that the music gives is spectacular!
The concept is very good, the story and the idea! I just miss a better execution of the game! Seriously, if this is done with a little more attention to the gameplay, graphics and music, the game would be very professional, seriously.
I loved the game! The truth is that the story is very good and the music is immersive, you have done a tremendous job! Great game, seriously!
The game is very fun! The music is catchy and I've gotten as far as a minute into the first map. Great game!
Wow! I didn't expect it, a card game! The truth is that I am hoping that you can implement it in a game and give it a commercial success, let us know please!
My record is 83, then 113, it's hilarious and made me laugh a lot. The music accompanies and the idea is very original. What happens to me sometimes is that the boat's sail is not visible. Still, great game!
How does this game have so few ratings? It's very good! I like the music and the graphics, at first I find it hard to understand what I have to do and I don't know if I can kill the enemies, in the end I see that I can. I really liked the game, I hope it reaches 20 because it deserves it! Great game.
It reminds me of WarioWare, the truth is that I love the minigames and I have replayed it because of how much fun it was. Great game!
I really liked your game! The beginning of the story reminded me of Undertale! Then it is a Runner with a lot of action. Perhaps I would have liked the music to be more in line with the action of the game, but I insist, great game.
@psytron, @guardaro, @asmadigames, sorry! I forgot fix the Lerp acceleration of Delta! Now it is fixed! Thanks for your feedback!
@bingtheping, @mook, @tiny-pig, thanks for your words!
@jcg, thank you very much for your feedback! The truth is that I thought about it but it didn't have time and I saw hard to implement before deadline. Thanks again! :-)
Thank you so much for your feedback, @okamit! I have corrected the jump because the Jump Buffering did not work. Furthermore, I've seen your profile picture and I've seen that you are one of the members of Blackout! I've to tell you I played it months ago and I loved it, in fact, I teach it to my students about how you can make good games in Godot. Thank you a lot!
@nardandas, it's okay! You're the first to tell me that didn't get it. The bottom time is the time of Delta, the protagonist, which dilates over time with respect to the time of the observer (loved one who waits for you in repose) whose time is on the top left. It is true that physics fails a bit, it is still a game that seeks spectacularity and good mechanics. Regarding acceleration and deceleration it's the same since I only use a linear interpolation (the LERP function) for both. If there is something you don't understand, tell me, please! Thanks for your feedback!
@chusmimax I would love to do it in a bigger project but I don't have as much support as your game on that idea hehe. Of course if I had it I would. By the way, your game is spectacular and everyone tells you the same thing, that you have to make it bigger.
@papaya, thanks for your feedback! Yes, the truth is that I added the fixes to the controls, were you able to save your loved one?
@luis-priego-cuenca, thank you very much, Luis! Let's see if we meet and have a few beers together and tell each other!
@farzher, thank you so much for playing the game! With a couple of attempts you will surely save your loved one, above you have a video of how I do it.
@proxy-games, thank you very much for your feedback! It has been detailed, direct, sincere and with respect. I appreciate it a lot. I hope you can play again and save your loved one, above you have a video of how I do it. Thank you very much again!
Thank you so much, @amolker! I'm so glad someone managed to save their loved one in my game. Seriously thanks!
Thank you very much for your words, @cakts! And thanks for saving your loved one (even though you're short on all ten coins)! I insist, thank you very much for your words, they are highly appreciated.
@cakts, wow! Thanks for sharing this! I've very glad that you finish the game completly! Seriously, thanks! :-)
@chusmimax, WOW, thanks for complete the game with all the challenges, it's a great honor, really.
@tygrak, thanks for playing! Could you obtain the ten coins and save your loved one? ;-)
@brandon-js-lea, thank you for your feedback. I clarify it:
* The bottom time is your time, which expands more when you move faster. If you manage to finish the game you have the first ending of the game, the easiest. * The time on the top left is the observer at rest, in this case your loved one. If you manage to finish the game before this time you have the second ending of the game, more complicated. * If you get the previous one and the ten coins, you will have managed to overcome the highest difficulty of the game.
Hope I was able to clear that up for you, thanks so much for playing, seriously!
@caeonosphere, @ksimaster, thanks for your feedback!
@mateusboga, It's been an honor for you to play my game, and thank you very much for the VOD, really!
@ddrkirbyisq, wow! It's a great honor to receive feedback from you!
I try to clarify it:

The ending is the same as before. It is a collectible.
Hope I was able to clear that up for you, thanks so much for playing, seriously!
And yes, I like fast accelerations like in Megaman but it is true that when the character goes very fast you have to accelerate more slowly. I have used LERP and maybe I should have made it exponential. I'll have to change and test it more! Thanks again!
@f1krazy, thank you very much for your feedback.

For this game I don't like to use text to explain the story and I couldn't do it.
I encourage you to try it a few more times because in the end people love the experience of finishing it. I would have liked that you enjoyed it.
@f1krazy, @ddrkirbyisq, and obviously I want to improve in all areas and offer a better experience in my next game.
@skruffye, thank you very much for your comment! Detailed and providing feedback!
Regarding the controls, I added Jump Buffering and Coyote Time. However, I think I should improve the side scrolling. The acceleration is with the LERP function and I think it should have been more exponential so that the character handles better at the beginning of the movement. That is something I will experience later when the voting is over.
And yes! The time dilation formula is applied in the game! I use a constant as a factor for gameplay reasons but I try to follow the formula as closely as possible for time dilation.
The truth is that I'm sad that people did not see all my effort in applying that physics. Perhaps it has not been clearly explained in the game. But yes, your time is dilated with respect to the observer (your loved one). So the faster you go, the slower your time relative to the observer. But since the observer is at rest, the time is what we see normal at the top left. The space also contracts in the game and the sound also expands.
Thanks for looking into those details. I appreciate it a lot!
The menu is so good that I was expecting a game at the same level of quality! Still, the game is very interesting and fits the theme! Perhaps I would adjust the animations a bit to make it smoother. Very fun and I have played several times!
I haven't stopped laughing! The point is that thanks to the particular music it has had me hooked for a few waves. Seriously, very funny.
I see it a bit chaotic at first but then you get to the controls and the idea is wonderful. Nice graphics and great game!
How come this game only got 5-6 votes? Sounds like a great game to me! Maybe the music is a bit crushing and the graphics could use some improvement, but the rest, it's a lot of fun, seriously! For your first time with this engine it's great, I'm looking forward to you participating again. I insist, I would improve the graphics and music a bit, but the rest is great, seriously. Great game!
Well-crafted art, clean music, simple and direct gameplay. I love the dog, I'd have liked more mechanics or one more surprise. Good game tough!
I love the music and the graphics! It took me a while to understand how the game worked at first, but then it went smoothly. Great game!
The graphics are awesome! The only minor drawback I see is the player mechanics. It's not bad, it's just that the rest is so spectacular that it baffles me a bit. Seriously, you have to make this game longer and publish it on Steam!
The graphics and concept art is wonderful, the game is short but intense, this game deserves to have a longer story. Nice game!
Great game story and very addictive! Perhaps the mechanics are a bit complicated, I mean, I have a hard time clicking on the bacteria. Other than that everything else is great, nice game!
1920 points! Are all balloons generated like this or is it procedural or mix? It see at first that it's the same but then I pay attention to the game and I'm not aware of it! Great music and very good use of colors knowing that PICO's palette is small. Great game!
Very funny and the music is frenetic and accompanies the action. It'd have been spectacular if the gravity of the planets had influenced the ship. Great game!
I laughed a lot watching the baked snake. The sound effect helps too! I'd have liked to see the snake be able to move forward. Good game!
How is it possible that this game does not have more than 20 reviews? Seriously, it's a hidden gem. Some things are missing (didn't you have time to create a player sprite?) but the rest is great. The tempo, the rhythm, the difficulty and another very important thing: the music. It's amazing how it changes and improves over time. Great game!
Very funny! No music or sound effects? The truth is that I love it, I think the idea is very original. Seriously great game!
What a great idea on theme! I haven't made a lot of money but it's highly fun. Great game!
Very funny and fitting to the theme! The truth is that it has been entertaining me for a long time. Great game!
What an ingenious concept! The truth is that I like the game although I have failed in the accusation. Then I can't play again, I have to quit and then come in. I've read but I haven't understood it well. It would be great if you could polish the game because it's a fantastic game with a great idea!
Great idea for the theme! The incremental game genre is well known but you have given it a very good touch.
Some kind of art would have been missing, even if it was minimal.
Still, fun game!
Very entertaining! Maybe the player moves a bit fast but the rest is great, the levels are procedurally generated and the pace is frenetic having to finish it in 10 seconds, what does the H mean? By the way, how did you manage to embed the game in Godot? It fails me. By the way, awesome game!
The best game I've played so far! Very funny and the music is spectacular! It has all kinds of details, a very well-round game. Didn't give you time to Compo? Because it would have been even more spectacular. Outstanding game!
Good running-game!! I like the idea of speeding up or slowing down, I hadn't seen it in this type of game. Keeps me on my toes and I love the art, great game!
Interesting idea! It's a snake game but 10 seconds theme applied and the novelty that the room is a circle! Good game!
Very good game!! It has been difficult for me to handle the box as they say but otherwise it is so funny. I'm glad you used LMMS, it's not easy to find people like us who use it. Great game!
Great experience! The game is very well done and all aspects of the game are very, very well packaged.
Maybe a little more music is missing. For my taste, I prefer these experience-type games to have background music or specific SFX to keep me tense.
But come on, I can only congratulate you on this outstanding game!
Simple but very addictive game! I have achieved 1754 points alone, perhaps the control has been a bit complicated for me. I love power-ups, I don't see them in many games and I'm glad this one emphasizes that. Great game!
Good moderate use of AI and great puzzles! Perhaps the game have the same issue as mine, it becomes a bit slow having to wait for the state to change. We have had the same design problem. Still, the game is spectacular. Congratulations to the whole team for this great entry. Awesome game!
Very funny! I had no idea how much I was going to laugh in this game, the truth is that I love press-key-in-that-order games and sushi too. The art is very impressive too. Great game!
Eow! A hidden gem! I love these kinds of surprises. I love finding games that don't have many comments or that haven't gotten the votes yet and they are real gems! Congratulations! The game is very well thought out, the concept of ten seconds is cool, the mechanics too. What algorithm have you used for Pathfinding? Great game, seriously! Congratulations! You deserve many more votes and recognition!
I use Debian GNU/Linux and there is no web version either, the truth is that I would love to be able to play it!
Entertaining platform! And I love the art, it is particular and its own. Maybe I would put some power-up to make it a little more varied. Still, very good game!
Good game! As they have said, the mouse is quite sensitive and in my opinion the difficulty is not progressive, I only see it hard at the beginning. I have entered because I have read your post commenting on your experience and I am sure that in the next edition you will do something much better, you will see. Great game!
Impressive for a game done in 48 hours! Lots of levels, it's fitted to the theme, good graphics and gameplay. The cat is very charismatic! Great game!
Wow, a game in memory of a loved one. I have to say that I am very sorry, regarding the game what I like the most is the mood. Good use of colors with red to shoot that remind me of the harshness of war. I don't know, but I really liked this game!
The sound of the clock is awesome, it keeps me constantly on edge! Is there a way to change the mouse sensitivity? My character moves really fast. Apart from that, congratulations for the game. By the way, I'm been a while but I haven't scape the room, let's see if there's a walkthrough soon.
Wow! A self-created game with a self-created programming language. I had never seen it, my sincere congratulations.
With respecto to the game, it's simple but very addictive and everything is put together very well! I would have loved to rack up the speed powerups. And sometimes I just want to kill all the enemies!
Impressive concept! Which is the hardest thing to do. If you improve the art and put music you could have one of the best games. Waiting for your next participation, great game!
I love top down shooter games and this one with power-ups even better. Great game!
Wonderful new concept! I love platform-puzzles (I've done one too). You've had a brilliant idea, really fun game!
I love these kind of games! They are simple but well executed in all aspects. As I have enjoyed it so much I have missed that the difficulty increased after the boxes appearing with other elements on the screen. Also I want the final score does not come out as a certain but that you can remove it whenever you want. I couldn't take the screenshot! Even so, it has entertained me a lot, 100 seconds or so I have managed. Seriously, great game!
@pinkemma, Thanks! I tried to make it staggered but I didn't have time, thanks for playing! :)
@delightfullymad, Yes, 10 seconds is really long, maybe I had to make changes to the design at the beginning. Thanks for your comment! :)
@pennycook, yes, the truth is that I had a design flaw by having to make the player wait, maybe I shouldn't have adjusted so much to the theme to have a better design, hehe. Thanks for your feedback! ^^
@smilewood, I thought about adding the counters for each state, but it is true that the HUD was very saturated so I removed it. Regarding the SFX I left it for the last, I consider it important but this type of game is not so bad either. I wanted to put SFX but I didn't have time. Thanks for playing! :)
@jaybaus, Thanks for your comment! The truth is that I wanted to do more levels but I did not imagine that in this game it would cost me so much. Level 8 is the one I feel most proud of and I would have liked to add two more to reach ten, but it couldn't be. Thanks for playing! :)
@m4ttu, Yes, I thought just that in level 4, thanks for seeing it. I wanted to add animations but I planned wrong in the Compo. Thanks for your comment! :)
@sarah-alexa, Thank you for your very kind words! And thanks for appreciating level 8! The truth is that it took me more than an hour to do it and that in Compo is a lot. The music I wanted to make it very chill with an instrument but with a good chord progression. Thank you very much for the feedback and for playing! :)
@geldo-ronie, thanks for your words, I hope you enjoyed!
@sarah-alexa, yes, if I see that there is interest I will do more levels, thanks for your words!
@triangle-point, yes, maybe I should have put an animation or a similar counter so that the player knows when it changes, thanks for your feedback!
@thaprofesional, Thanks for your words, I'm serious, it took me time to design the levels, I didn't imagine it would take so long! thanks for your feedback
@jk5000, thanks for your words, yes, I had to do it a little faster than the ten seconds, thanks for your words!
@bobo-oh yeah I went too far with the ten seconds thing, thanks!
@dfyzet, yes, I have put the music mute because some of us can find it annoying  thanks for your feedback!
@lukas0842, thank you for your words!
@jiri-hysek yes i like old retro games, thanks for your words.
@kevin-du, thanks for your great words, I think the same! It is a quiet game, to play without haste, and I did it like this. But you know what? We live in a world where everything is immediate, people cannot enjoy the experience. Is incredible. Thank you, seriously, thank you very much for those appreciating the game, I really appreciate it. Thanks.
@steffo, thanks for your feedback.
@cooz, yes, that's why I made it mutable, thanks for your feedback.
@m0dsat, yes, I like to make the music louder but I always leave it for the last  At first I really wanted to make the levels simple so that the player learns. Thank you very much for your very detailed comment!
@gagapete, yes, thanks for your words, yes, very few like the fact of waiting! But yes, obviously I am aware of some flaws in the level design (especially in level 6 you mean). Thanks to comments like yours I want to improve in the next game. Thank you for your very detailed comment!
@roroto-sic, yes, perhaps the icons should have been more detailed, thanks for your words!
@quinn-patrick, yes, the sound effects thing is that I didn't have time. And the rhythm yes it is true that I had to put some kind of counter so that the player knew it, thank you for your words!
@bridgeonastick, Yes, the fact of waiting does not like much, thanks for your words, I hope you enjoyed a little while!
@jaykayey yes it should have indicated the change in the different states. Thanks for your feedback!
@yoko-san, thanks for ending it! It means a lot to me! :smiley!
@chingle I'll play then since I like this type of game. Thanks for your words!
@gonzalol, it had to have shown when it was going to change to the next state. Thanks for your feedback!
@ayced yes the icon maybe had to animate it or put a boot on it. I understand you about the ten seconds, thanks for your feedback!
@maxkyckling, yes, maybe he should have put a counter indicating how much is left for him to change. thanks for your words!
Amazing art for the short time they give at Compo! I love the interaction with the characters and, although I found it a bit hard to handle the player, I'm hooked on the game! Great game!
What an amazing game, it's impressive that you did it in 72 hours for how complex the game is. I love the music, the art and the gameplay! At first I have to admit that the game overwhelms me with so many items but then it's a delight. Great game!
Spectacular mood and setting, music also accompanies everything. The game is well-round made and I give my congratulations because it has had me absorbed. Maybe at first I got a little lost regarding what I have to do. However, great game!
To be your first game is great! The truth is that you have done the most difficult part: innovating with a new concept. It's a twist of Breakout game and it's really funny. You have to polish the game but I can only say congratulations! Great game!
Very fun this shoot em game up classic! Maybe the controls move too fast but the graphics are cool and the game keeps you going! Great game!
Intense gameplay, and I love the detail of how the ghost deteriorates more and more! I like being able to select levels. Great game!
Is this your first participation in a Game Jam? Congratulations! Is a good game!
Also, it is the first game I have played in this edition of Ludum Dare! I love platforms, and what can I tell you, I love this game and I've had a good time. The only but would be to put a valuable description of the game. Great game!
I love these portal-type games and I find this very fun! The fact that it is Compo game seems impressive to me. Great game!
Great twist on the classic Sokoban game! I love the idea and well conceived, maybe I would have missed a bit of polish in general but the levels are great and the third one is very well designed. Great game!
Very fun game! But don't blame me for the little pig dying  Just kidding. I've laughed a lot, maybe the controls are a bit rough but the rest is great. Good game!
Great game, everything seems very well organized. Maybe I would make something for the first level easier because until I escaped from the crabs it took me a while. Or it is probably very bad. Still, great game!
@meep Yep, just after few minutes I try again and play well. I've corrected the review. IMHO, for me, I improve the explanation for the game, IMHO! I stuck at first. BTW, awesome game.
Good entry! At first it was difficult for me to understand the tutorial, and then to get out of it! And at the beginning it was difficult for me to start playing, maybe it would be interesting to improve the usability. However, I find the concept wonderful and then you are hooked. Very good game, seriously, congratulations.
The best game I've played right now on LD52! This tower defense is original, and the fact that you harvest and that the aliens can take away your harvest makes it even more special. I can put few buts, to say something maybe I would put some graphics a little more 'happy' instead of so dark. Still, spectacular game, for now it's the best for me.
Simple but addictive! I want to play more levels! By the way, what font did you use? I like it a lot.
To say something inconvenient, I miss a little cheerful background music. But since I love simple games but with a good idea, I can only congratulate you, great game!
Seriously, I would love to play more levels and discover new mechanics!
It seems to me without a doubt one of the best games of this edition of Ludum Dare! My trick at the beginning is not to spend in bush, but in canyons all the time, then if it is better to make a path of bushes. Everything is perfectly designed, good graphics and above all the increasing difficulty. At first I got a little involved without a tutorial, but after a while I already understood everything that results in a spectacular game design. Great game!
I love the tutorial xD! Good voice intonation giving epicity to the game! It's hard for me to change characters, I don't know why. The character is great, I would like to see him further developed in the future. Great game!
Wow! I find it incredible what you have done in just 48 hours by yourself. Everything is perfectly well fitted making a round game. To put some drawbacks, to say something, well, it's that the movement is not 8D and that in pixel art I see the problems of Doubles and Jaggies (I don't like to see them, IMHO). Still my congratulations, it's a great game.
Funny game! I love the graphics, they are very well done. Maybe to put a but maybe I don't feel comfortable with the controls, with the mouse I don't see responsive planting or harvesting, I would also like a zoom away when the seeds and fruits fly. But I understand that in such a short time it cannot be implemented. Even so, I think it's a hilarious game and spectacular what you've done in such a short time.
It seems to me one of these hidden games that I don't understand why it doesn't have more votes and recognition. Great game! I love getting to harvest different 'parts' of the human body. The music and the graphics are perfectly balanced, making it a well-rounded game. Maybe the usability of using the E seems a little clunky to me but overall it looks like a great game, congratulations!
I love the fast forward at the beginning, it's something that many games don't have and it's valuable. At first I got a little involved but later I got the hang of it. Very funny, really.
I think the game is very good! It is amazing that you have done it in such a short time. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the resize of the pixels, which isn't perfect. I think also because you mix with other GameObjects. Still seems like a well-round game to me.
What an awesome game! It is incredible how so many people have organized themselves and make this product so well finished in such a short time. The only thing that is strange to me is not being able to configure the graphics, the sensitivity of the mouse, etc. But it's because it's so good that I miss it. I hope you guys make a longer version of this game and see how many Whislist gets on Steam, but I'm sure a lot. Congratulations, seriously!
Fun game! The graphics of the bees and the garden are also very good. You mix genres and I like it too. I can hardly put buts. I have been wanting to see other types of bees such as drones. Great game!
I love the tutorial, simple but effective! The rest I can only congratulate you, you have to polish several aspects of the game but for your first participation in the Ludum Dare I find it fascinating!!
I really want to try the game. But I use GNU/Linux and it's not for the web either. I have not rated it, if in the future they are published on these platforms I will be eager to try it!
Interesting game! I love pixelart and I admire your graphics! Regarding the text of the tutorial I can't see it well (it goes out of the screen in GNU/Linux) and it was difficult for me to understand the game at first. For the rest, remarkable game!
I really want to try the game! Although I have GNU/Linux, do you plan on releasing it on this platform in the future? It looks so much fun!
Simple but addictive game! I love harvesting wheat to go faster. The music is consistent with the game. I miss some sound effect! Still, awesome game!
The game is not bad at all! It is a simple game but it has very good elements like the music that is adaptive when you die. I also see the collisions very well done, being only the trident that kills you. I think that some gameplay aspects need to be polished and that it be incremental with the appearance of new challenges. Still, I would love to see more of your participation in the next editions! Great game!
At first it was hard for me to understand but after a short time I got into how to play! And it's funny! What is not clear to me is the advantage of throwing higher or lower, less time, right? I would like to see a little more explanation or game design in the game to make it clearer. Apart from that detail, I can only congratulate you, great game!!!
It reminds me a lot of Catacomb 3-D! But with an originality when it comes to sending messages! I liked the music you have selected because it fits very well with your graphics and game design. Great game!
I love the mood of the game which together with the audio makes for a very interesting game! The player's mechanics are a little uncomfortable for me, but I think it's a game with a very special and personal touch. And that very few achieve it, congratulations!
Well, I've been trying it out and at first it doesn't seem like much but then it's great! I got the trick of being behind everything and throwing the envelopes there, ha ha. Great but what a great entry! congrats!
I can't vote for you but it's not a game, it's a tool. But if I could you would be the winner, what a tool! As a PhD in artificial visio, I congratulate you. Also, my games are 8 bit pixel art (like mine from this LD53, Frogivio) and 16 bits and I have to admit that the result is fantastic. What surprises me is that there is always a black border, can it be that there are results without that black border always? I say this to add more variety. The tool would be great for creating items too. And if you mix it with a prompt it would be spectacular. But come on, I can only sincerely congratulate you on the work, it's not easy. What's more, none of the professional AIs get pixel art animations that I can remember, and above with several animations to choose! I insist, my most sincere congratulations!
One of the few games I've finished and enjoyed to the fullest! The graphics accompany and the mechanics are very cool. And the level design is impressive, I think it's spectacular! Have you thought about participating in a Compo? I have seen in your games that in some you are alone, you have all the capabilities and it would be cool if you entered such a format. I insist, great game!
Screenshot_2023-05-17_01-29-01.png
The setting looks fantastic! The use of music and art and the theme chosen like this medieval make it a unique and original game, congratulations! Maybe the music happens to you like in my game, it's a bit repetitive, but it's normal, being in a compo gives very little time to walk. I can only tell you what a great game, congrats!
Simple but effective game! I would have liked a small smile when you hand her her matching dream, heh heh. The truth is the theme is good and everything is very well cohesive, great entry!
Great game to do it all by yourself! I find it impressive! What I don't know is why in Debian GNU/Linux the mouse cursor is covered and I get a little lost in the menu. But otherwise it looks great. Godot's use of 3D is admirable, it's really hard for me! Great game!
Wow! incredible! And made by only one person! And hilarious! I find it spectacular. Those graphics, that music, how well everything is done, those transitions between different parts of the game, all full of details right down to the pizza boxes as levels. It seems to me a game that to have been made in 72 hours seems to me a serious game, my most sincere congratulations, really.
I can't vote because I'm on Debian GNU/Linux. But from the description it looks very good!
The idea is very good! I found the game very fun! The truth is that I would love one. My only recommendation is to add a little more detail to the map and, in my opinion, put in music and special effects even if you don't opt for it. Apart from this, I can only congratulate you, I think it's a great game and a lot of fun. The Post Jam version is very polished but... I want more! Great game!
Package delivered! The truth is that the game is simple but I have to admit that it is very addictive! You've picked the right music and maybe I'd like some added difficulty or a mid game and late game update. Because it would be cool to move from one place to another to deliver the package but you have to change the route, dodge an enemy, etc. But the important thing is that I liked it a lot and I had fun! Great game!
Wow, awesome game, so much fun! And finally I find an upload to itch.io as it deserves! I, too, love matching colors and sizes, and that takes attention to detail. I love the game of matching three colors, the mood and theme is very good, have you thought about adding time? It would give it a very interesting touch. Very good game and spectacular to be done in 48 hours!
The graphics seem fantastic to me, I miss a background music that gives me atmosphere because it would fit in fantastically, but otherwise, I find the game very fun! Congrats!
I think it's a spectacular game to have presented it in a compo! Did you just have to publish it? I find it incredible and spectacular if this was in a Compo. Graphically it is a spectacle and the levels are very well designed, although in the end I would add some more mechanics or something like that so that it is not a game of skill and trial-error. Even so, it seems to me a superb video game, my most sincere congratulations for your game.
Impressive that the game has been made with your own engine. I understand that the game engine did not do it during the compo, right? If so, I would make you a statue. Now seriously, congratulations on the game, really!
I have loved the game! We have thought the same thing, the use of Godot physics for this edition of LD! They also gave me for few levels. The only thing is not having to switch between mouse and keyboard. For the rest, I think it's a fantastic game and I've had a great time, awesome game!
A very round game, all aspects are remarkably developed! I like music. The only but I have to say is that perhaps I would like a message or some clear notice that I have passed the level. One detail is that it makes me want to jump on top of the enemies like Mario Bros! Congratulations! Great game!
I was delighted that Godot's robot ate your logo! Great tribute and dedication to my favorite game engine! The game seems very fun to me, especially I love the mechanics, the strength of the popcorn is given by how far you have the mouse cursor and I love the fact that you control it a little with W and S. The game is full of details (like honoring the speedrunner). The final song is an incredible spectacularity. I think it's a fantastic game, congratulations!
Hilarious game! I love the game and its original idea, I didn't know the Garlic Toad existed and the charisma of Fuscus and Pelobati is admirable. I also love the analog color palette that gives it an awesome mood. And best of all, I've had a great time playing it. I hope there is a second part!
The concept is very interesting, it reminds me of what Paper Please said above. What I would see as essential is knowing how to play, it is very difficult for me at first how it is. Or maybe I am very clumsy. But in my opinion, it took me a long time to find out. Despite this, I can only congratulate you on this game, incredible for a compo, congrats!!
A very fun game! Maybe at first it was a bit difficult for me to handle it and learn how to play it, but afterwards it has been very easy to understand, great game for a compo! Although I have to admit that I'm bad at throwing boxes, hahaha. Great game!
Simple but very addictive game! I have to admit that music hooks me a lot! The truth is that for 48 hours it is great. For the asking, maybe I would put some custom icons for each pack, the tank would be huge, ha ha. I can only congratulate you on your game, congratulations.
A wonderful puzzle game! The truth is that I had a lot of fun, simple controls and very well designed levels with increasing difficulty and new mechanics. Perhaps there was less text to click on because I find it a bit frustrating in my opinion. Otherwise, great game!
Short game but very effective and fun! I would like the controls to be only with keys, for example, I would put only one key to turn a wagon, another for the second and another for the third. Or even two keys for each wagon making a total of 6. I personally like either all keyboard or all mouse (except typical shot-up games that mix). Apart from this small detail, I can only congratulate you on the good design of the game, how fun it is, and how well everything is cohesive. Great game!
The first few notes are from the Mortal Kombat song, right? Ha ha ha. Other than that, great game! It reminds me of my game _Dilate the time!_ where you have to go fast and it's a platform too! Maybe the camera drives me a little crazy, but aside from that little inconvenience, great game! Congratulations!
Here a GNU/Linux user! It is greatly appreciated that you have exported to this platform. The truth is that I have loved the game, using the portable console as a tool to discover more things. The graphics are impressive and I am amused that you have changed the name of the portable consoles, ha, ha. Overall, great game!
I love music, what DAW have you used? Awesome. How come I have to use Fullscreen? Couldn't resize in Godot? The truth is that the game is impressive, isometric with different options (more tables, more tray capacity, etc.) My congratulations, seriously, great game for a Compo, what you have done in 48 hours is spectacular, congrats!
One of the best games without a doubt from this edition of Ludum Dare! It's a package throwing game, but the goal isn't to reach as far as possible, but to get the timing right for the delivery. The music and art accompany this incredibly fun game. The game's ending is spectacular and had me laughing the entire time. What an amazing game!
I love music, it gives me very good vibes! The game is simple but it wins a lot in the mood, the set of graphics and music makes it exceptional. Perhaps I would introduce new mechanics but I can only congratulate you on the compo, in 48 hours your game seems impressive to me, congratulations!
Underrated gem! It seems to me the most innovative game I've played so far! And on top of that it's fun! The tutorial couldn't be BETTER! Click on Start and you already make it clear to the player how to play. The use of the tabulator to change the drone also seems spectacular to me. The game design looks like a work of art to me, isn't there a section for this? I find it worth admiring. This game deserves to be more polished and on Steam. Great game, congratulations!
Awesome game for a Game Jam, seriously, in 72 hours and you alone? Spectacular. A shoot em up with mouse and keyboard, I love these types of games. The design of the maps seems very successful to me and the tension of the game is also very well done. A well rounded game. Congratulations!
A very nice game! At first I thought I was not going to vote for the graphics and for the music because it looked like it was downloaded by third parties. But what's up! It's yours! I find these two sections incredible. Very good game and quite round. Perhaps I would shorten some areas a bit because walking all the time becomes a bit heavy. But come on, aside from that, I can only congratulate you on such a fantastic game!
Hidden gem! I loved the game, I miss these types of experiences a lot and I liked them. The graphics and the atmosphere or mood is spectacular and I loved picking flowers. One of the few games I've had the pleasure of playing (and without releasing dopamine, on the contrary endorphin). And I say endorphin because it's not a game that hooks you, it's a game to enjoy quietly picking flowers. I insist, the graphics are very good, the controls are simple and you get the childhood atmosphere. I would love, I insist, I would love to have background music according to the graphics. But of course, I don't know if it's because of time or technique, it's not there. But I insist, it seems to me a hidden gem. Congratulations!
Screenshot_2023-05-12_13-14-46.png
A simple idea but it makes the game complex! how can it be that with two options it can be so much fun. My congratulations! The design of the game seems to me of incredible quality and the graphics also accompanies it. Great game, congratulations!
Spectacular idea! It's a tetris revolution but with the theme applied to the maximum! I have had to squeeze my head many times because I wanted to fill the truck to the maximum. The possibilities are endless! Great game!
A simple yet highly addictive game! The 'vector-like' graphics, coupled with that CRT filter, grant it a distinctive touch! The theme is also very well-tuned, requiring you to eliminate enemies before the circle closes. Truly, for a game developed in 48 hours, it strikes me as impressive. My congratulations!
A highly enjoyable game! You've achieved a delightful blend of the original Zelda and Gauntlet, crafting an immensely fun experience! While I might miss a few special effects or additional obstacles to add a bit more depth to the game, it does not detract from it being a fantastic play. Congratulations!
Sometimes we need references and leaders to admire and somewhat emulate. With this game, Xk is certainly one of them! It's an incredible game, accomplished in such a short time, thoroughly professional, and it has kept me hooked, eagerly wanting to see it through to the end! Astonishing!
Impressive graphics and music! I find it incredible how you were able to create this turn-based puzzle in such a short amount of time and all by yourself! Not only that, but the level designs are also very well thought out and crafted. I do miss a brief tutorial, but it's understandable that you might not have had the time. I must emphasize, it's a spectacular game; my congratulations!
An amazing game for such a short development time! It reminds me of PC simulator and strategy games from the late 80s and early 90s! My congratulations, although the controls might be a bit difficult at first, you get used to them. It doesn't fully fit on my 1080p screen, and it doesn’t when I switch to full screen either. Despite that, all I have left to say is well done, I think it's a fantastic game and admirable for being a Compo game. Great job!
A refreshingly simple yet immensely addictive game! It involves merely pressing the spacebar and maintaining the rhythm. The music is stellar and complements the game’s drums perfectly. The character designs are exceptional and bestow the game with a unique style! Fantastic entry!
A truly enjoyable game, combining a delightful challenge of simultaneous dodging and hitting with a captivating level design. The art style and color palette are charming, contributing to a fun and well-polished gameplay experience! I would love a web or GNU/Linux version of your game! Please, let me know!
What a fantastic hidden gem! I believe I've never played a 3D Tower Defense game before! Indeed, there are a few aspects that could be polished, such as the controls, and adding some music, especially considering it’s a Jam and opting out of the category wouldn’t hurt. Despite these minor drawbacks, I can only offer congratulations, as there are numerous standout features like the graphics, map design, and complexities such as the escalating difficulty in the waves, along with the updating and positioning of turrets and their statistics. Tremendous work for a solo developer, great game!
I have played both the standard and enhanced versions of the game, noticing aspects like parks and green zones, which now bring everything into perspective! Nevertheless, I imagine the challenge — indeed, it's difficult — of developing the car AI, creating the maps, and contemplating all potential possibilities is tremendous, especially achieving this in 48 hours! I must also extend my gratitude for producing a post-compo version; the noticeable improvement significantly enhances the game experience for individuals like me. Excellent game!
Amazing game for being developed in just 12 hours! It truly blows my mind! I could not have imagined that such a game could be created in such a short time! The concept is original and brimming with humor - having to search for the photo and kick birds is just hysterically funny. It's an incredible game, especially considering it was made in 12 hours! And a belated happy birthday - I hope you enjoyed it!
Exceptionally enjoyable game! The fact that this was crafted in a mere 48 hours is remarkable! I adore how upon initiating play, you gradually come to understand the mechanics and, beyond that, there’s a story that keeps you riveted: why are they similar to me? I must underscore the level design because it is not only superbly executed but also poses a non-trivial challenge, and the variety in enemies and unfolding scenarios become evident as I progress. While the game may lack a touch of music, and the color palette sometimes doesn’t fully win me over, all that remains is to extend hearty congratulations for this game—a veritable hidden jewel. Splendid game!
Simple yet addictive! Truly, it awakens all my capitalist and competitive interests! Honestly, a two-player version would be interesting and seems like it could be easily implemented. I'm eager to play it with a friend with whom I am competitive! Great game!
Wow! Graphically, I find it astonishing! How did you manage to create those animations with those skeletons? It can't have been easy! What I don’t quite understand is how to play; I click when prompted and it turns green, but it’s true that I fail once or twice and lose. I wonder if it would be good to add a tutorial or, if you haven’t had time, an explanatory GIF or video. Aside from that, I find it an interesting approach to game creation, like trying to ascend a rock without perishing in the attempt. Great entry!
I have downloaded the game for Debian GNU/Linux and I get the following error:
`[...] Is the .pck file missing? [...] The associated .pck file should be renamed to match the executable name [...]`
The truth is that I would love to play The Last Sanctuary, it looks great!
A truly hidden gem! A robust game where some aspects for me are a clear 5 out of 5, such as the fun factor! The upgrade system fits perfectly with the theme and is entirely original! I adore the concept of fitting pieces together for improvement! Moreover, the upgrades are well-balanced in my opinion, and the game itself is well-rounded! If I were to point out a downside, it might be maintaining a bit more consistency in the drawings between the player and the enemies - even if they're a small cartoon or drawing, they should harmonize with the rest of the art. Nonetheless, all that remains is to congratulate you on this game; I find it incredible and I don't understand why it doesn't have more votes and recognition, because it certainly does from me! Great game, truly, it's spectacular!
Outstanding game! I adore the reference to Celeste, although it showcases distinct mechanics! Brilliant implementation! The level design is fantastic and the art is sublime! My only critique would be the music; it doesn’t quite align with the artistic style and can be a bit repetitive. Aside from that, all I can say is congratulations to the entire team! A truly marvelous game!
An incredible adaptation for a video game from a series! The theme seems exceptionally well-aligned with what was requested! It's true that certain aspects of the game need polishing, but overall, it is highly recommendable! Spectacular! Congratulations!
What an inventive game concept! It's like engaging with Minesweeper, but in reverse! While I'd have appreciated the inclusion of some sound effects — which could potentially be quickly crafted with Sfxr — that minor detail doesn’t diminish the overall experience. Despite that small shortfall, it’s a stellar game!
An intriguing game concept masterfully adapted to the mechanics! Honestly, I hadn’t imagined how challenging it could be to fill a room with guests, ha-ha! The only minor drawback I would point out is that the music can become somewhat repetitive, and the graphics might benefit from a bit more detail. However, overlooking this small room for improvement, all I can do is congratulate you for such a tremendous effort, accomplished solo in merely 48 hours! The game boasts a high number of options and scenarios! Remarkable! Congratulations on a great game!
The graphics strongly remind me of Command & Conquer! The concept art seems very similar. I'm surprised that it hasn't reached the required 20 votes. It would be great if, in case the web version doesn't work well, the game was released for GNU/Linux. There are many players here on Ludum Dare who use GNU/Linux. While I also use Windows, there are indeed people who exclusively use GNU/Linux. Perhaps this would boost the votes!
A simple yet exceedingly addictive game! I adore how it achieves player satisfaction through minor details, like the vibration when drilling through a block or grabbing the boost that increases speed and sweeps through everything! These seemingly inconsequential details, which undoubtedly take time to develop, are not something every developer incorporates! Tremendous game!
Incredible game for a compo! The truth is, initially, the invisible walls seem like a bug, but once you realize they aren't, you truly enjoy the game a lot! Perhaps it would be interesting to include a mini-tutorial, a sign, or some indication to prevent frustration on the player's part due to the invisible walls. Apart from that, I can only congratulate you on this compo, well done!
A truly magnificent game with fantastic ideas, especially in the 'special guests'. I adore games where the controls are simple and familiar to all, yet the mechanics and gameplay change according to the enemies and circumstances. When I saw the Mario mushroom with the Arkanoid blocks, I was utterly amazed. What a tremendous hidden gem game!
It's incredible how you've been able to create this marvel in just 48 hours! For me, it has to win the award for the best theme, by a long shot! Moreover, it's not just that, the game encompasses everything: graphics, music, and most importantly, fun! It seems like a well-rounded game, and my congratulations for achieving so much in such a short time, impressive! Great game!
Fantastic game and very true to the theme! The graphics and music fit perfectly together, and the design of the puzzles is just right as it's incremental and very instructive from start to finish. You know exactly how to play and where to place the characters in relation to the ghosts. If I had to point out a tiny flaw, it might be that a message should automatically pop up when you perfectly complete a screen. Nevertheless, all I can do is congratulate you. It's a tremendous game for a compo and being made just in 48 hours. Great game!
How can such a simple mechanic be so entertaining! It greatly reminds me of the mini-game involving ball throwing in Super Mario Party! However, it has a very unique touch: enemies of different types keep emerging and there's a snowman-themed atmosphere! The graphics and music are perfectly matched, creating a very good game experience. Great game!
Truthfully, you've left me with a hugely pleasant taste in my mouth! This game looks downright fantastic! Although the mechanics seem simple, the theme with the fly truly brings a lot to the table. The graphics and mood are spectacular! I would have loved even just ten levels with progressive difficulty; a little more and it would be a well-rounded game! I genuinely loved the concept. I insist, I was left wanting more. Great attempt, and I hope to enjoy more levels or another game from you in the future!
Are the graphics of the enemy ships your own work? The level of detail is astounding! Even in full-screen mode, I can't fully discern all the intricate details – it's spectacular! If I had to point out some areas for improvement, I would suggest adding some background music, even if it's from third-party sources. Additionally, there seems to be an inconsistency in the art style; the protagonist appears more cartoonish, while the enemies look more realistic. Despite these minor issues, I must congratulate you on the game! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Great job!
The controls feel a bit odd to me, but that might just be a personal issue! Regarding the rest of the game, all I can say is congratulations! The idea is brilliant, the art is fantastic, and the music fits perfectly into the game! To me, it's a solid game, and it's impressive how good it is given the short development time you've had! Seriously, congratulations! Great game!
What a serene game; it provides such relaxation! The graphics, and especially the music, create a fantastic feel and establish a spectacular mood! My sincerest congratulations on the work done, well done!
I love the conceptual art you've used for the game! Not only that, the music complements the art, making it a fantastic game! The controls can be challenging at times but not always. Aside from that, I have to say congratulations, great game!
The overwhelming sensation is unbearable! Starting the game trapped in the car with that atmospheric sound in the background feels suffocating! The mood is impressively set! The graphics are exceptionally well-crafted, especially given the short development time. I played it on Debian GNU/Linux, and the controls were slightly uncomfortable for me. But aside from that, all that remains is to congratulate you on this tremendous game. Congrats!
Highly addictive! It takes a bit to get the hang of it initially, but afterward, it's phenomenal. I love those low-poly graphics, and everything is very consistent! The controls can be a bit confusing at first, but they're a joy once you get used to them. I miss having some music, but even so: an outstanding game!
I couldn’t stop laughing, ha, ha, ha! This game has a unique stamp that truly sets it apart from the rest! I’ve played both the original version and the post-jam version, and I must say, those subtle enhancements you’ve incorporated are noticeable; the effort has truly paid off. Tremendous game!
At first, it's a bit challenging to grasp, a brief tutorial would be interesting. However, once you understand it, it's incredibly fun! I love the carrot idea; I truly see them in a different perspective now, ha, ha. I noticed it has few votes, and I believe it deserves more. This seems like one of those hidden games that contain treasures within, it seems outstanding to me. Admittedly, I struggle a bit with the controls, but I can only congratulate you on this marvelous participation, congrats!
Even though it's slightly buggy, especially in the inventory and whatever follows, I can only express my adoration! Seriously, it's a genuinely hidden gem of a game! I've had so much fun playing it, and the level design is outstanding! All of this in 48 hours! I would love to see and enjoy a post-jam version because, honestly, the polished game must be even better than it already is. Fantastic game!
The game mechanics are not only spectacular but also impeccably aligned with the theme, truly awesome! My admiration extends to the graphics and level design, all of which are crafted with apparent expertise. The atmosphere, skillfully and cohesively constructed, envelops players in an immersive experience. A truly spectacular game!
The innovation in the game is outstanding, blending the classic Tetris block-matching with a village setting. This thematic integration elevates the gameplay experience! However, I'd love if the first level were a bit easier, and the music can be somewhat repetitive. Otherwise, it's a fantastic game that, while it still needs some polishing, showcases intriguing ideas, especially for a Compo version. Impressive!
Fantastic game! I'm captivated by the variability in each match and the escalation of difficulty. The power-ups inject an additional thrill into the gameplay, providing immense satisfaction with each use. The final boss embodies the quintessence of challenge, maintaining a rigorous combat experience. Ultimately, with a few determined attempts, the game can be conquered, ensuring a well-balanced and thoroughly engaging experience. An utterly awesome game!
I haven't stopped laughing! What an amazing game! The art is fantastic, consistently done, and has a unique touch. Moreover, the art and music blend pixelated designs reminiscent of the '80s but modernized and adapted to recent years' memes. It's an outstanding game, truly exceptional!
Incredible game! It's solid in every aspect, not missing a beat! The music and art are fantastic, and the "Limited Space" theme fits perfectly. Everything is well-structured as a game. If I had to critique something, it would be the level design. Perhaps it starts off a bit too challenging with many elements on the screen, requiring precise moves. I believe players would appreciate starting with simpler levels and gradually introducing new elements and challenges. Aside from this minor issue, which is just my opinion, I can only express my gratitude for the amazing game you've created. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great job!
I have downloaded it for GNU/Linux but when I start the game the screen goes black and then the game closes.
Oh! I have an incredible desire to play!
Amazing game! The graphics are so well-executed, establishing a spectacular atmosphere throughout. The light and gentle music further elevates this mood even more. The level design has been thoughtfully crafted. I played on Debian GNU/Linux and would love to see a fullscreen option or button to fully maximize the immersive experience. A tremendous game and a remarkable entry, congratulations!
Ha, ha, ha, such a whimsical and aptly themed idea! For me, it scores a solid 5 out of 5 in those two aspects! The truth is that the game doesn’t disappoint in its other facets either. All that remains is to extend my heartfelt congratulations for this game; it has brought me so much laughter. Thank you immensely for this game!
Fantastic platformer game! I find it highly addictive, and the special effects of the falling meteorites are incredible! Also, the blue ball effect is amazing, something I can't achieve in Godot! I love the game, congratulations, great entry!
I loved the game, the truth is that I laughed a lot! The graphics are very successful. The only thing I see is the recommendation in the description to play in full screen since there are many sprites on the screen. Despite that, great game!
I adore the artistic concept of the game! And the idea is brilliant! Incorporating some music would have been an interesting choice, as it would provide a spectacular touch and make the game well-rounded and thoroughly complete! Nevertheless, all that remains is to congratulate you on the work accomplished; it seems like a fantastic game in which I've enjoyed watering the plants and solving puzzles. By the way, excellent map design. Great game!
The ambiance and graphics of the game are remarkable. But what surprises me most is how well you've assembled everything - it truly resembles a professional game. I might miss the main character's animations a bit, but it's understandable given the 72-hour timeframe! The inclusion of an inventory and the well-designed levels, not to mention the resource management of bullets and lights, which is no easy task to design, are commendable. It's an outstanding game, congratulations!
I'm uncertain as to why everything shifts to the right when I press the D key, ha, ha! Nonetheless, setting that curiosity aside, what a phenomenal game! It's awe-inspiring that you accomplished all of this in just 48 hours, presenting remarkable graphics paired with harmonious music. The tutorial itself was quite comprehensive; while a video wasn't necessary, it's a very welcomed addition. I must extend my congratulations—a truly splendid game!
Incredible game! I'm astounded that you made this in just 48 hours using C++! I had a blast playing it. Admittedly, I did struggle at times, but the sheer enjoyment I derived from the game compelled me to press on—and not many games manage to achieve that. The artwork is stellar. Personally, I would've liked a tad more detail, but that's just my preference. The use of color is outstanding, and the ability to craft characters with so few pixels is remarkable. The level design and especially the narrative are commendable. I love the twist where just when you think it's over, you have to escape. Regarding the end, when I escape the castle, the game shuts down. Have I completed it, or is that a bug? Anyway, I just wanted to extend my congratulations on such an outstanding game.
I'm going to be honest, this is currently the best game I've played for the Jam format, truly! Perhaps it's also because I love physics and space, but also due to its faithful recreation, it seems astonishing to me. Are the model and graphics all your own work? It's mind-blowing. The music complements it, the sound effects are equal, and everything makes the mood spectacular. For me, it's a solid 5 out of 5 in practically all categories, impressive, great game, seriously, I'm blown away.
A spectacular game created in just 48 hours! The drone simulation is exceptionally well-done and, moreover, the handling is proficient and not frustrating. While the game presents a challenge, it does not induce frustration due to its excellent controls. The design of the map is striking, and it is far from easy. The only aspect it lacks, as previous commenters have pointed out, is a touch of music to fully enhance the mood. Nonetheless, I can only extend my congratulations for this tremendous work. Fantastic game!
I absolutely love the game! The physics of the ice are excellently crafted and respond fluidly to cursor movements. The collisions and bounces are also superbly managed. While it could benefit from some special effects, which can be effortlessly crafted with Sfxr, that minor detail does not detract from the overall experience. The game is nothing short of fantastic—simply incredible!
Immensely enjoyable! I'm captivated by how the game adheres to the theme of restricted space and am quite fond of the animations. While there's room for a touch more detail in the drawings, that minor aspect doesn’t detract from the thoughtfully devised gameplay. I find myself feeling a pang of guilt for the characters who drown—sometimes there just isn’t enough time to save them all! Ha, ha, ha.
Simple yet extremely addictive! Moreover, it aligns so well with the theme; having to jump with an increasing number of enemies keeps me on edge! The game is well-balanced, and the difficulty is aptly adjusted for all types of players. The color scheme works well together, and everything contributes to making the game fantastic. Congratulations!
Outstanding game! So much fun! It seems very well-designed and hooks me from the start, something very few games manage to do! Even though there are only a few levels, I must say they are brilliantly designed, making the experience thoroughly enjoyable. I'm looking forward to a post-jam version with more levels, ha-ha. It's true that the music is somewhat repetitive and the graphics lack detail. But aside from that, it doesn’t matter, because in the end, the fun prevails, and this game achieves that for me. A superb score in fun and a game that, for me, is a great hidden gem. Great job!
This game offers an inventive take on rhythm games, brilliantly integrating the "Limited Space" theme. Its retro pixel art visuals are a delight, and the catchy music perfectly complements the disco ambiance. While the unique keyboard controls align with the theme and present a fun challenge, they might pose a slight learning curve for me at least. Overall, this game is a rhythmic gem worth exploring!
Stunning game! Truly, the theme is spot-on for the game, a solid 5 out of 5! Moreover, it's executed with such commendable innovation! It even gives me Undertale vibes, ha, ha! I insist, outstanding participation and fantastic game, congratulations, I enjoyed it immensely.
An incredible game for a compo version! Implementing an RTS is no easy task, so my congratulations on your programming ability. The game is a bit confusing at first, and a tutorial at the beginning would be appreciated, but it's understandable that 48 hours may not be enough time for that. Once you get used to it, the game is sheer joy to play. Amazing - congratulations on creating a great game!
Remarkable puzzle crafted with pure JavaScript! I find this game, created solo in just 48 hours, absolutely astonishing! The idea of simulating a disk defragmenter is delightful and has kept me thoroughly entertained! If there’s a minor drawback, it would be the graphics - a bit more detail to immerse me fully into a disk defragmenter setting would have been great. However, it’s understandable that this type of game doesn’t necessarily need it. So, all that’s left to say is congratulations! It seems like a very solid game for being developed by yourself in 48 hours. Well done!
Stunning mechanics! Truly, the controls pose a challenge to the player, not because they are difficult, but because there's a genuine need to coordinate strafing with turning. And such a challenge can only be met with the excellent level design that you've achieved! Sometimes, it's more worthwhile to turn, while other times, strafing takes precedence! An impressive game! Honestly, it plays better with a controller since managing turns and strafes for a ship like this can be done more efficiently. I must insist, I find it to be a spectacular game; these are innovative ideas that I did not expect. Great game!
This is how to make a fantastic game in 48 hours. It’s so well-crafted and fun!
Numerous elements come together seamlessly to create a well-rounded game: original mechanic, balanced gameplay, all wrapped up in a narrative with its setup, rising action, and climax.
I have a suggestion to offer, perhaps a bit of music could have made the game even more complete, but in 48 hours, one can hardly ask for more.
My sincerest congratulations to the author. I’m looking forward to attending his conference, and I am truly excited.
Spectacular game!
Great tribute to Virtua Cop! It's genuinely fun, and you've successfully captured the essence of that era's arcade games, topped with overflowing humor. My sincerest congratulations to the team—great game!
What a hidden gem! I can't understand how it has so few comments and ratings! It's the opposite of a tower defense game; instead, I have to summon various creatures to destroy the wooden barrier. The game is very well-balanced, making each type of creature and the frequency of summons a real decision-making challenge! I miss seeing 3D models of the creatures, but I completely understand that accomplishing this in less than 48 hours is incredibly difficult. By the way, your dedication to Ludum Dare is incredible; you're one of the legends! My sincerest congratulations on the game, great game!
Very fun. The puzzles are excellently designed and really make you think about when to use the rat/ghost and the character to press levers and pass through the bars. The fact that you used C++ and SDL2 personally adds more value to the game for me. By the way, you haven't mentioned in the game description that you can press Enter to view the map, right? Great game!
Fantastic game! The mood and graphics are truly amazing, and the puzzle to summon the final creature is very cool. However, I agree with the comments that it's a bit hard to understand how the puzzle works. Nonetheless, my congratulations; the game is genuinely impressive, creating this in less than 48 hours is no easy feat with this quality of the game.
What an amazing game! The mood of the game is fantastic, the atmosphere is excellent, and I love the artistic style—it reminds me of Wolfenstein 3D but with a unique twist. I appreciate the help with the map, and I like the strategy of attacking enemies with water or fire depending on their type. The game combines exploration with combat in a short but very entertaining gameplay experience.
It would be cool if the ingredients collected could be used to cast new spells, adding a bit more depth to the experience. For example, if I pick up a tomato, I could use it to attack a specific type of enemy guarding another ingredient; this would make the exploration much more interesting.
But hey, this is just a small suggestion because creating this game in less than 48 hours is truly admirable. I loved it; great game!
It's a survival game that blends elements of top-down shooters and Vampire Survivor! I love filling the screen with skeletons and getting through wave after wave! Perhaps adding some sound effects or animations of fights between the skeletons and the enemies to show that they are battling would make it even more spectacular-that would be great! Nevertheless, my congratulations; I really enjoyed it!
Great game! I love how you've embraced the concept of 'summoning' in the sense of ordering someone to come to a particular place or officially arranging a meeting. The salary and 'effective' parameters are very well-adjusted, and the avatar system is excellently implemented. I do miss having some music, but I understand that accomplishing all this in 48 hours is quite a challenge. Fantastic game, I loved it!
What a hidden gem! The bee mechanics are incredibly fun! The graphics create a special mood too! It might be cool to have a pixelated cursor icon that doesn’t disappear, though I'm not sure if this issue is because I'm using Chromium on Debian GNU/Linux. Besides this minor point, which doesn’t affect my rating, I must congratulate you on such an original idea that perfectly fits the theme. I believe this game deserves more visibility and should easily get the necessary 20 ratings! Great game!
This is a highly addictive top-down shooter! I feel it's missing some music to add tension to the action-packed moments. However, the enemies are well-balanced in terms of health, making the game challenging. It also fits the theme perfectly, requires you to summon and then destroy the boss to progress to the next level! Great game!

Episode 1 complete! What a solid entry. The Atari 2600-style graphics and flickscreen levels typical of that era give it a very distinctive art style. But the standout feature is the level design of the first episode; the puzzles and level layout are so well thought out, making it fun from start to finish. Perhaps the music could be a bit less repetitive, but that's a minor point. I just want to congratulate you on creating such an excellent game by yourself in just 48 hours, well done!
What a fun and well-polished game! Everything is well-crafted—the graphics, music, and gameplay are all top-notch, and it's incredibly original and true to the theme! The fact that it keeps the 'hype' going really excites me and keeps me on edge. I'm also curious to find out the best strategy. I'm not sure if triangles or rays are better; I'm torn between those two, ha, ha, or maybe I'm mistaken. It would be cool if each unit had its own name; they're adorable (rather than just calling them triangles, circles, etc.). Truly a fantastic game!
What a fun game, with its Wilhelm scream, ha, ha! The artwork is truly magnificent and keeps you thoroughly entertained as you search for the hat. What's great is that it can be played both solo and multiplayer. Personally, I find the controls a bit awkward, especially using the ALT key with WASD; it's a bit of a stretch for me. Despite this, I want to congratulate the development team on their excellent work—great game!
The game's setting is fantastic, and the mood of this game is spectacular. The audio also immersively draws the player into the story. I was surprised by mechanics such as jumping between platforms that appeared to be walls. This isn’t a suggestion, but I would like to share that I'm not a fan of the pixel filter applied to the normal drawings; I think the original artwork is excellent and doesn't need that filter. However, this is just a personal opinion and doesn't affect my graphical rating. Otherwise, my sincerest congratulations-always producing quality titles at Ludum Dare. Great game!
Very fun game! I really enjoy the challenge of having to summon and dodge all the creatures to advance to the next level. However, I'm puzzled by the background, which appears to be in JPG format; it seems to have lossy compression, giving it a 'blurry' look typical of JPGs. Is the background supposed to be PNG? Also, I find jumping between gaps a bit difficult. Perhaps making the colliders slightly smaller could give the player more leeway and enhance the user experience. Aside from that, I must commend you, the graphics are wonderful and the level design is spectacular. Great game!
I love turn-based strategy games, and this one really fits the theme well! I lost my first match against the computer. Initially, it was a bit challenging to understand the behavior of my summonings. Although I knew exactly what each unit did thanks to your tutorial, grasping their movement took a bit of time. However, after a short while, I got the hang of it and played again, this time defeating the computer! The addition of player-versus-player mode makes the game even more complete and polished. I absolutely loved it, great game!
What a well-polished game! It's artistically delightful and very fun to play. Although I must admit, I find it quite challenging - a common issue I encounter in my own games, where I'm not sure how difficult they actually are, and they seem easier to me. Otherwise, the game is very entertaining. The mechanics of resurrecting units, each with different abilities, whether attacking normally, with spears, or with arrows, are fantastic. All of this set in a visually stunning environment that creates a wonderful mood. My sincerest congratulations on the game!
Great fun! The gameplay experience is really cool! I love the enemy physics and how they slow you down. The graphics are very well done; they give the game a truly spectacular mood. It's a pity that the game isn't fully completed, but I understand that it might take time because the enemy physics are very, very well implemented! Great game!
What can I say? I've stumbled upon a fantastic game at the end of this Ludum Dare edition! For me, it's among the best games of this edition! Seriously, everything is well-crafted, from the art and atmosphere to the music and theme. I have no suggestions because I enjoyed it thoroughly from start to finish. What a team of developers has come together; I hope they release an extended version of this game on Steam. Above all, the mechanics and level design that maximally leveraged these mechanics, along with puzzles that are well thought out—not only on the way there but also when returning to acquire a skill. Insistently, this is an outstanding game. My sincerest congratulations, truly, I had a great time. Spectacular game!
Amazing game mood! I loved the aesthetics, the graphics, and how the audio was used to create tension—especially with that ghost chasing you as you move. The 4:3 aspect ratio and the effect of being recorded like an '80s camera add many fine details that make this game excellent. Sometimes, it might be confusing to know what to do next. Aside from this, I extend my sincerest congratulations to the entire team because it truly seems like an incredible game. Spectacular game!
It was hilarious! I really grew fond of the penguin, and this experience makes me eager for a sequel and a deeper lore. Seriously, great entry!
Such a lot of innovation and perfectly aligned with the theme! I'm also thrilled by the bold choice to use a console application in the classic DOS style, which I absolutely loved. I appreciate that you indicate the use of the internet without collecting any information. It would be fantastic to have old-style speaker music; I think it would add a great touch. Great game!
What a fun game! I've always enjoyed battling skeletons. The graphics are excellent, and I love the gameplay and physics, especially how the bones scatter and lie on the ground. It would be awesome if those same bones could reassemble into a new enemy skeleton, ha, ha. The female character is very well-designed in 3D, and the game overall is fantastic. I'm left wanting to know more about the lore because the setting is incredible. Great game!
This game's graphics strongly remind me of 'Rise of the Triad'! The pixelated hands look very similar. Creating an FPS game in less than 48 hours by oneself is no easy feat! My suggestion is to make the first level a bit less challenging to allow players to get accustomed to the mechanics. Apart from this minor detail, my sincerest congratulations on an excellent first participation in Ludum Dare! Great game!
Wow, all I can say is that I love it! The graphics, aesthetics, and theme of the game perfectly match the summonings. If I had to suggest something, it would be to make the game area larger on the itch.io page or to recommend that players go full screen. Aside from this minor point, congratulations on the game. And the best part of all for me is the level design, the fifth is incredible!
What a great game! I really love how you've handled the ingredient combination mechanics when the player is lost-the elements vibrate except for the last one; only when the girl arrives does the third appear. It's a clever design choice that you can continue playing after the girl's arrival, first a flower, then a scare, etc. The game is well-rounded and the characters are very thoughtfully designed (the skeleton being made of two bone pieces and the debris). Finally, once all elements are invoked, you allow the player to experiment. I can't say much more about this game; for me, it's outstanding in every aspect—great game!
By far, for me at the present time , this is the best game of this edition of Ludum Dare! Incredible! It features a Celeste-style aesthetic and gameplay, but it is by no means a copy or clone.
It introduces an original mechanic that I have not seen before. The graphics are excellent, and the music is equally impressive.
The only area I see that needs improvement is the user experience when controlling the player. Sometimes it can be a bit frustrating not being able to perform certain actions because it feels like you're missing something, not that you lack the ability to make that move. However, this can only be resolved through game testing; that is, by observing people play your game. This is true for all games but especially for platformers, where extensive game testing is essential, as was the case with Celeste. But in a Game Jam, where the game is developed within 72 hours, there simply isn't enough time to conduct proper game testing; hence, this doesn’t affect my rating of the game.
Nevertheless, for me, it has earned the highest scores in all categories I've voted on (I abstained from voting on the theme as I was unclear about the idea of invoking the javelin). I am absolutely delighted with this game.
In conclusion, great game, the best I've tried so far. I am looking forward to an extended version of this game and will keep an eye out for Garbanzo Goon (I couldn't find your logo). Superb game!
The game is incredible! The quality of the graphics is superb, the music complements the experience well, and the action is frenetic! It's true that it can be a bit challenging to understand the gameplay at first, and initially it's quite difficult, but once you get the hang of it and master the game, it's truly enjoyable. My sincerest congratulations because the game is worth it, and for something made in 72 hours, it clearly shows that a professional team was involved. I would love to have a leaderboard to keep competing with others who have played this game. Great game!
The slimes are adorable! I loved the game's introduction, and the fight with the final boss or enemy is very well-executed. The mechanic of summoning slimes fits the theme perfectly, and choosing between 'infuse' and 'kick', in addition to summoning, makes the gameplay experience really fun. I missed having an opening song, and I'm left wanting more enemies. Overall, great game!
An amazing parody of Braid, endowed with unique elements that set it apart! The humor is sharply acidic. While it's somewhat challenging, particularly the skateboard level, persistence pays off, allowing you to complete the game for a satisfying experience. The game maintains a consistent narrative from start to finish, even with its biting humor, making it a complete and very enjoyable gaming experience. Accomplishing all this in less than 48 hours makes it one of those hidden gems that truly deserves more recognition. Spectacular game!
The mood of the game is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and the low-poly 3D models with their animations are very well-executed. However, as others have mentioned, the game consists of collecting five souls to summon a bridge, and perhaps actions like jumping are unnecessary. It would be cool to add some game design elements where players need to decide which souls to collect first, or another element that makes them think about the best strategy to use. It's evident that a lot of work went into this, and I'm eager to see more from this development team, as the potential is clearly there. Great game, truly!
What a fantastic game, truly. My sincerest congratulations; it kept me entertained for quite a while. I do have a question that I'm rather curious about: why use French playing cards? Wouldn't custom cards that align with the game's lore be better? Or perhaps it was a design decision, which I find intriguing. Again, my sincerest congratulations; developing such a game system in such a short time is admirable. Out of curiosity, do you design or enjoy designing board games? I created one a while ago and am considering getting back into it, I find that world fascinating too. Great game!
@rob6566 Yes, I used to play various board games on Board Game Arena (Catan was the one I played the most recently), but I always ended up playing the same game: MTG. It's easy to get started; I just bring my deck and don't worry about it, the games are always different... If I were to create a board game, it would be a card game! But I don’t underestimate classic board games! They are so fun!
What a great tribute to Vampire Survivors, but with a summoning theme! It's a shame that the game isn't fully completed, because I really love this style of gameplay. Even so, it's playable and fun; the skeletons are tough, ha, ha! By the way, I was interested in your game, Orbo's Way Home!
dragon.png
These graphics are unbelievable—truly incredible and spectacular, especially the dragon. It's not just this dragon (which would take me over a week to create, and at just 1% of this quality), but the entire visual aspect of the game. Furthermore, the game is very enjoyable, and the combat sequences are well-executed. To offer a suggestion, I would make the tutorial a bit more guided, as I initially found it difficult to understand. Apart from this minor point, I must extend my congratulations to the two developers. What a great game, congratulations!
Great game! I love the mood of the game; it's very well achieved! Achieving that mood requires having all the artistic elements well-organized, and this game succeeds in that. The maze is awesome and I genuinely enjoy it. I also love the detail that allows me to play without a mouse, using the arrow keys along with WASD. It's a very good game, especially considering it was all done by you in 48 hours. Great game!
Amazing game, I find it absolutely thrilling! What I appreciate most, and what adds a layer of complete interaction, is the ability to destroy walls-it's truly commendable and not an easy feat. The level design is magnificent. The only drawback for me is the music, which is a bit repetitive. Other than that, I think it's an exceptionally great game!
It's like rock-paper-scissors but in real time with three lines of action! I find it to be a fantastic idea that I've never seen before! The UI could use some improvement though, as the graphics could be more visually appealing. However, aside from this minor detail, I just want to congratulate you; the concept is original and innovative—I've never played anything quite like it. Very cool indeed, I loved it. Great game!
What a great game concept! The ability to select units based on their characteristics truly adds a challenging element. I also love the music, did you create it yourself? It's fantastic. It's a real shame that the game is incomplete, I would love to play it in all its glory!
Wow, it's like having our own 3D version of 'Papers, Please'! It's truly admirable that the game features procedurally generated characters and was completed in just 72 hours. I think the first day could be slightly shortened, as the subsequent days are more complex and, in my opinion, much more fun! I'm definitely left wanting more—a full game with more detailed 3D characters and additional levels featuring various acts. To me, this project has the potential to evolve into a complete game for platforms. Great game!
What a fun game! I had a great time playing it! It's also very humorous, and the game design is magnificent! Everything is well-integrated. I would love to see your own assets (music and graphics) in future games, but for a first entry in Ludum Dare, it's outstanding. I see you're just a few points shy of reaching 20 ratings, why not rate other games to boost your karma? You're almost there, come on! And by the way, great game!
Wow, it's like having my own Scribblenauts! The puzzle designs are really well-thought-out! I struggled a bit at the beginning, but then I was able to solve them! The puzzles are logical, allowing for exploration and experimentation, which adds a fantastic layer to the gameplay. The wooden frame—or at least that's how I perceive it—adds a storybook or historical touch, and I think it's a great design choice. The pixel art is also excellent, making this a well-rounded game! Great game!
What a cool game! The fact that you have to plant and summon carrots, potatoes, and pumpkins is extremely fun. The level designs are very impressive, especially considering they were done in less than 48 hours! I would love a bit more music, but that doesn't detract from the great game that it is. The character is totally charismatic. Great game!
I like the game! It's true that it's initially a bit difficult to understand how it works, but once you get it, it's really cool. Having to choose the right temptations to tempt as many people as possible is very engaging. The graphics are good, and the movements of each soldier are fun. The music is cheerful, though a bit repetitive. For a first entry in a Ludum Dare, I think it's a fantastic debut! Great game!
The concept is fantastic! Combining different elements to create your own creature adds a really special touch! Honestly, the possibilities seem endless! Have you calculated them? Because there truly are a lot! The music is cool, and I would have loved to see some combat or interaction involving this creature. Great game!
I absolutely love this game! As a fan of Magic: The Gathering, I can say that the attack and defense mechanics, similar to the creatures in Magic, really hook me into this game. The music, graphics, and gameplay make it a very well-rounded experience. For me, the strategy lies in always using points on the same character; however, if there were another element or mechanic that forced me to think about distributing these points, making tough decisions, it would be even better. Despite this, I can only offer my congratulations—I've thoroughly enjoyed the game from start to finish, and it's clearly very polished. My compliments! Great game!
Great game! I love strategy games, and for something created in just 72 hours, this game is spectacular. It seems very professional, with orchestral music and fantastic ambiance. As a suggestion, I would try to allow the character to move three squares or more at a time with a single click, instead of moving square by square; however, I understand this might be due to time constraints rather than difficulty. Apart from this minor detail, all that's left is to congratulate you. I absolutely loved this game and appreciate being able to play it on my Debian GNU/Linux. Spectacular game!
Very innovative! The concept is fantastic, a top-down survivor style game blended with puzzles to summon enemies, which I love! The idea is truly innovative and cool. However, the execution could use some improvement; it lacks music and needs a bit more polishing overall. Despite these issues, I find the game to be very fun, innovative, and original. I believe it deserves much more visibility and recognition than it currently has. Great game!

Fantastic game! It really reminds me of Flicky, but with a special twist, and the inclusion of flies adds an incredible touch of humor! The game is well-polished, and there's not much more I can say—perhaps adding another type of enemy, like spiders, which are also quite a nuisance in a house, haha. Even so, it's a fantastic game that, considering it was made in less than 48 hours, is simply great. Great game!
What an incredibly polished game in every aspect! Visually, it's stunning; all elements are well-placed, creating an amazing atmosphere. The game fits the theme of the jam perfectly, and the level design is incredible. As others have mentioned, perhaps a clearer tutorial would be beneficial, as it took me some time to understand how to play. It's not that I don't know how to use the wizards and their purposes, but rather how to position them with the mouse, why they face one direction over another, etc. Aside from this small point, I must congratulate the entire team on such an excellent game, I loved it!
What a solid game! At first, it's challenging to figure out how to start; fortunately, I found out it begins with an 'S.' That said, it means I hadn’t fully appreciated how magnificent this game is. It seems like a puzzle logic game, but a very special one. It has that unique touch that many games lack. The level design is excellent, providing just enough hints without making it too easy, challenging your own ingenuity to solve the puzzles. I must insist, great entry, spectacular game!
Simple yet effective! It's not easy to design this kind of puzzle that is easy to understand yet hard to master. It's fun, makes you think, and the combos are fantastic. My sincerest congratulations on this great work, all done in less than 48 hours! I look forward to seeing an expansion of this game!
Once it hits 300, my laptop starts to struggle.
I didn't know it, but summoning ducks is really addictive!
Amazing golf game for your first attempt! I already know your real Molly—so adorable! The animation is really cool when she approaches the ball. I wish there were more levels because I was left wanting more, and it would have been nice to be able to lift the ball to a certain angle. But my most sincere congratulations, for your first game, it's impressive.
Great game! I love these kinds of strategy games where I have to think about which units to buy and place to defeat the enemies. The movement patterns are very well implemented and the gameplay is smooth, allowing for easy placement of your skulls and ghosts.
I do miss having some music and special effects, which could be added from third-party sources with a CC0 license, for example, during a jam. What I don't understand is why sometimes it tells me I lose even though the crystal is intact—does keeping the ghosts far from the crystal cause me to lose?
In conclusion, I want to congratulate you on such a tremendous game; it has great design, is very entertaining, and, most importantly, it's well-balanced. Spectacular game!
Amazing game and very well aligned with the theme! It’s also very fun and features an excellent graphic style with a very good analogous color scheme. I missed having music, but I understand that sometimes there isn’t enough time given the tight 48-hour schedule. I loved some levels that are very well designed, and the ending was fantastic. Great game!
Wow! What a hidden gem of a game I've found, it's so much fun! It's like Sokoban, but with the ability to summon clones of both boxes and birds! The concept is brilliant, and the puzzles are very well thought out. I would love some music and slightly more detailed graphics; however, these are minor issues given the quality of the game. An impressive first entry in Ludum Dare. Great game!
Truly fun-absolutely delightful! I'm left craving more levels! I play in Debian GNU/Linux and I can't recall playing a tower defense game where I had to summon both miners and attackers. It's really cool to gather a ton of money and be able to create units. I must insist, I'm eager for more-more levels, more types of enemies, more unit types, etc. This game is one of those hidden gems that deserves more visibility and recognition. Great game!
For me, this is one of the best games of this edition of Ludum Dare! It absolutely deserves to be among the top! Everything is magnificent, and the fun is maximized. It's very polished, and the gameplay from start to finish is engaging. I'm a big fan of tower defense games, but the fact that I can control a tank and also be part of the defense against the horde of enemies makes it special. And all this was achieved in less than 72 hours! Spectacular game, I love it!
12 490 points! Level 8! What a fun game! I honestly had a blast connecting 4 and even 5. The difficulty is well balanced, and the game is very polished. I would have loved to see a power-up, for example, a bomb that I could place to blow up everything around it, and that bomb could appear if I chain together a series of combos. However, it's really hard to implement new mechanics in such a short time. Even so, incredible game! I think it's a solid entry, and I had so much fun!
Wow! What a cool game and such an interesting concept! The graphics are great, and along with the music, theme, and overall mood, it feels like a well-rounded game. I would have loved to play it in full-screen mode because with itch.io’s white background and the small fireflies, I felt the urge to see it larger. The music doesn’t loop, does it? By the way, what tool did you use to create the soundtrack? It reminds me of songs made in Impulse Tracker. I absolutely love the 80s-inspired bass in the background. This game has a lot of potential, and I really enjoyed the math puzzles. It would be awesome to have more levels because the game is truly great. As always, your games have a solid stamp of quality, and this one doesn’t disappoint. For me, it's a strong entry. Great game!
@manabreak, incredible! Psycle! I composed my first songs with Impulse Tracker, and later I switched to Psycle. In fact, I released an album some time ago on a web platform, I didn't remember the name, where you could upload music, and I posted a record with four or five tracks made entirely in Psycle. I really loved using it, but then I switched to Debian GNU/Linux, and since then, I've only been looking for free Trackers or DAWs. I'm currently working with Ardour, but I find it quite unintuitive, and it's been hard for me to work with.
Now I'm searching for a free Tracker or DAW that allows me to work smoothly on GNU/Linux. I don't need anything as complex as Ardour. As far as I know, Psycle is discontinued software, right? I honestly didn't imagine there were still people using it. Then again, I'm not surprised, because it's such an excellent Tracker. It's great to find people like you who still appreciate it. You've got yourself a new follower!
Very fun game! Honestly, it's quite original, and for me, the most spectacular part is the puzzles, which have a really, really good design! Maybe the music is a bit repetitive, but other than that, all I can do is give my congratulations, it's a solid entry! Great game!
I'm completely hooked on this RTS by bugs! It makes me think and analyze strategies, whether it's better to attack the smaller units first with the larger ones or to engage the big units from the start. There are so many options, and some allow for more effective attacks than others, I love it. I miss a grass in the background, or some accompanying music, but it's still an excellent game! I discovered this game while searching for new ones to play and remembered Summonere, your previous game. It's such a pleasure to play one of yours again! Honestly, for using your own engine, it deserves praise because that's not easy. Great game!
Wow! A tiny creature artificial life simulation! It partially reminds me of *Creatures* (a 1996 game). I'm not sure if you drew any inspiration from it, but I highly recommend checking it out. In fact, I’d love it if these creatures had their own DNA, allowing them to mix with others during reproduction. That way, you'd get new tiny creatures with different colors, sizes, behaviors, and so on. Aside from this geeky suggestion, I have to admire what a fantastic game this is and what a solid entry! Every aspect scores high, and for a Compo, it's outstanding. My sincere congratulations, great game!
What an original puzzle! The puzzles are well-designed, and each tiny creature has its own unique mechanic! At first, I found it a bit challenging to understand how the game works, but I quickly got the hang of it. In my humble opinion, I might suggest starting with simpler levels (for example, introducing just one tiny creature and then gradually adding more), but I understand that creating this entire game on your own for the Compo format is truly impressive. A solid entry, great game!
It reminded me of *Another World* (also known as *Out of This World* in North America), especially the initial part where you have to kick small snakes. This time, though, they're little goblins! The music feels a bit repetitive to me, but aside from that minor detail, what I like the most is the gameplay. I'm serious, it’s really hard to implement kicks in a way that feels satisfying, and this game nails it! The timing when executing the kick and how the character pauses afterward is very well done. It's a solid entry, especially considering it's a Compo format. Great game!
What an adorable game with dolphins! It's truly filled with details, like the fact that you're playing inside a radar, and it even has all the shaders for it. The music is relaxing, and both the gameplay and graphics complement each other, making for a very well-rounded game. One thing I don't understand, though, and I'm not sure if it's just me, is that when I play using the arrow keys and press up and down, the browser scrolls the webpage. This happens even though I click on the game area to focus. I'm using Chromium, the open-source version of Chrome, on Debian GNU/Linux. But aside from this minor issue, which I assume is related to my browser or operating system, I have to say that this is a solid entry, and to top it off, it's for the Compo, meaning it was made in under 48 hours, spectacular. Great game!
What a cool and well-crafted game, especially for a compo! It's true that it's a game to take in a relaxed way, but it's really fun to watch how the pyramid is slowly built piece by piece. As others have mentioned, a bit of music and special effects would make the game even more immersive than it already is. However, for a compo game, it's understandable that there wasn't enough time to add more, considering how polished it already feels. Honestly, from what I’ve seen in your previous games, you always aim to innovate, and that's truly appreciated because this game achieves that. It’s a solid entry, great game!
Wow! It reminded me of DOS games with the Sound Blaster, and also of my CPC games that had a single color with a green background (although in this game it's purple). The vertical screen gives it a distinctive touch, the music is really well done, the mood is fantastic, and the story is captivating. The combat system is very well designed! Did it take you a long time to make? Would you have had time to submit it for the Jam at least? I would have loved to rate this game. My sincerest congratulations, great game!
Wow! This really takes me back to the arcade games of the late '80s and early '90s! The graphics and music perfectly capture that retro style, which isn't easy to pull off. The visuals are highly detailed, and I especially liked how the character's physics react when crashing. I might suggest adding some pathfinding to the maps, it could be worth considering. However, I'm not sure how it would affect the overall user experience. Other than that, my sincerest congratulations. For me, this is a solid entry, especially for a game jam. Getting all of this done in 48 hours is truly impressive. Great game!
Wow! What a hidden gem! This game seems to have it all-stunning graphics that truly make me feel immersed in the world of these tiny creatures absorbing the juice. The music perfectly complements the visuals, and the controls are smooth and responsive. The game is full of charming details, like that skull-faced droplet, which I absolutely loved. For me, this is a solid entry that definitely deserves more attention. Great game!
What a fun game! Also, I can confirm that it works on GNU/Linux. I tested it on my Debian, and I was able to play perfectly :-). It’s a survival horror game, and honestly, it's very addictive. What I would love is for the shotgun to kill more of the tiny creatures. Maybe I'm just used to classic DOOM, but it's always such a pleasure to blast multiple enemies with a single shotgun shot. That said, congratulations on the game! For a COMPO, it's really, really well done! I’ve never dared to make a 3D game for a COMPO myself, but with games like this one, I feel inspired to give it a try. Thanks :-)
Super fun game! I love the concept of collecting hearts, dodging lightning bolts and raindrops, and earning more points. For me, the graphics are the game's strongest point, and the music sets the perfect mood and atmosphere. It's true that controlling the tiny creature feels a bit 'uncontrollable', as some have mentioned. In my opinion, I would suggest tweaking the character's speed. I'd recommend faster acceleration and deceleration, but with a lower maximum speed, making it more controllable while still not too slow that it feels sluggish. You could also introduce power-ups that increase speed, gradually getting the player used to handling higher speeds. Overall, it's a great game. Congratulations!
Simple yet effective game! It kept me entertained all the way to the end! I understand that the screen with the key is the ending because when I reach the door, I can't proceed. Honestly, this game achieved what it set out to do: it kept me hooked right until the finish, and it did so successfully! That said, the graphics could use a bit of improvement, and in my humble opinion, introducing new mechanics for the obstacles would be more interesting than just making the hallways narrower. I didn't vote on the music category because I’m not sure if Matthew Pablo composed the music, as he's not listed in the credits. If you can confirm it, I’d definitely give it top marks, what an amazing soundtrack! By the way, the mood is fantastic, one of the best I've seen in this Jam. Great game, keep up the good work!
I'm really excited to try this game! But unfortunately, I haven’t been able to run it yet. When I try to play it from the website, it runs slowly and stutters. I downloaded Godot 3 and your project, but when I try to open it, I get the error: Scene 'res://assets/fonts/default.theme' has broken dependencies: res://addons/BitmapTextureFont/main.gd::Script. I haven’t rated your game yet because I’m eager to play it! If you could make a build for GNU/Linux, I’d love to try it. The game looks fantastic!
@guadalupe-murgo, @clare-chan1738, @tuism, @braulio-jg, thank you all so much for your feedback - it truly helps me. By the way, there's an alternate second ending. If you enjoyed the game, try to discover the other ending!
@iovorobiev, thanks for your review. There are two different endings in the game. Thanks for playing!
This game really reminds me of the JRPGs from the Mega Drive (or Sega Genesis in the US)! It's genuinely addictive, and I absolutely love this genre. Plus, it's made in Rust! If I had to suggest something, I would have loved to see an introductory story - especially with characters like tiny creatures - right before the first battle to really immerse me in the game's lore or storyline. That being said, I think it's a fantastic game and a solid entry. Great job!
Victory! I had a fantastic time, and honestly, this tower defense game is incredibly fun! The presentation is excellent, the graphics are highly distinctive, and the gameplay is wonderful. I might tweak the difficulty slightly and adjust the size of the sprite outlines, but aside from these minor details, congratulations on a well-crafted game, a truly solid title. By the way, my favorite tiny creature is the Behemoth, and the most satisfying feature is the "Will of the Governor", ha ha. Great and amazing game!
_You won the game!_ I had a fantastic time! Honestly, I didn't expect to get so hooked and have so much fun. It's like Hangman but with lives, the option to make purchases, well-themed, and very well executed. I missed text-based games; it reminded me of my days playing on MS-DOS. A truly excellent game!
I've never been so terrified of snails before! Haha! Honestly, it's a very solid game! The music is wonderful, the sound effects and the pacing of the action are spot on! I might make the graphics a bit more consistent though, as I noticed some parts have larger pixels while others have smaller ones. But other than that, my compliments! The little detail of a snail slowly approaching and trying to attack is fantastic. Seriously, I would just tweak the graphics a bit, but overall, it's a lot of fun! Kudos! Great game!
This is the most innovative game I've played so far in Ludum Dare 56! I think it’s a fantastic puzzle game. On top of that, the music gives it an incredible mood and atmosphere! Even though I usually use Debian GNU/Linux, I switched to Windows just to try out your game, and it was definitely worth it. I really admire your willingness to experiment with different things, like using the LÖVE framework in this case. For me, this is a solid entry—great game!
Wow! What a cool game and such an interesting concept! To be honest, I ended up sticking to the edges, not sure why I gravitated towards that, and I'm not sure if it was the best strategy! At the beginning, I felt a bit lost, so it might be a good idea to gradually introduce the game's possibilities early on. Another thought, the digging punch feels a bit slow (I love destroying things quickly), so maybe having a hold-to-destroy mechanic like in Minecraft, where the terrain breaks down progressively, could work. Aside from these small details, I have to congratulate you on creating such a unique and distinctive game. I remember playing your game from the last Ludum Dare, and I always have fun with your games, they definitely have your signature style. For me, this is a solid entry. Great game!
What a fantastic idea! It has truly entertained me immensely, and the concept is simple yet very intriguing. To me, it exemplifies Bushnell's Law: easy to learn and difficult to master. It's a pity you weren't able to polish it, because the game truly deserves it, the idea is exceptionally good. I hope it can be refined or that more levels can be added, as the game is very enjoyable. Great game!
Hilarious and so much fun! I was thrilled to see a second part of _Frame Wizards_ because I love the concept. It’s like *Scribblenauts* but with a lot more humor that had me laughing out loud, and I absolutely love it. Have you considered refining this game and turning it into a tech demo? I think with polished graphics, some improvements to the tutorial, gameplay, and the addition of new interactions -while keeping that signature humor - it could be something really special. Personally, I would love to play that tech demo! Again, great game!
Very fun game! Honestly, I love the effect of how the spider launches its web. The mechanics are very well done and the game is addictive. I would have liked to see how the fly takes a bite to me or how it gets trapped in the spider’s web - I'd love that visual effect. Even so, the game has been a lot of fun for me, and for a Compo format, it's awesome. Great game!
Wow! What a cool game and such an interesting concept! The idea of killing goblins with dice is quite unique, and the graphics and music really enhance the experience throughout. It would be amazing to see power-ups, more types of enemies, or different kinds of dice because the concept is so great. Imagine a level 10, for example, with various enemy types where you need to strategize which die to use against which enemy or which power-up to activate. Of course, it’s totally understandable that with just 72 hours, there wasn’t enough time to include everything, but this game has so much potential. For me, it’s a solid entry. Great game!
Great game! Honestly, for being your first participation in Ludum Dare, it's really well done! And on top of that, in the Compo format, which is the hardest. I find the game entertaining, and being inside a painting makes it adorable. At first, I had trouble understanding how the game worked, and that was because my browser on GNU/Linux wasn't displaying the entire screen. Once I switched to full-screen mode, I was able to play it without any issues. Great game!
Wow! Honestly, for your first time participating in Ludum, this is really impressive! I finished the game, and even though it’s short, I had a great time and was left wanting more. I wanted to go through that door and keep playing! I would suggest improving the consistency of the graphics a bit (for example, I noticed some larger and smaller pixels), and when playing on the web, I had to zoom out in my browser. I really enjoyed the intensity of the game, the choice of music, and the pacing—it’s definitely one of the game's strongest points. Congratulations, and I look forward to seeing more games from you. Great game!
What a fun game! The concept of delivering food to diners using tiny creatures is really interesting. I would suggest paying a bit more attention to the consistency of the graphics. In some areas, the details are so fine that when the images are scaled down, they appear too small, while in others, like the background, the details seem sparse or blurry. I hope that makes sense. Even so, it's a really fun game, and for your first participation in Ludum Dare, it's amazing—especially since it's in the COMPO category!
What a fun project! Honestly, creating the little doctor character is very amusing. The fact that this is your first game jam entry is truly commendable, congratulations! I imagine you have made games before, given that your gameplay mechanics and narrative are very well developed.
For your information, the game on the Ludum page doesn't run for me in Chromium on GNU/Linux, but it works on itch.io. Honestly, I have very little negative to say. The only suggestion I would make is to create all the graphics yourself, as this would make the game feel more complete and personal. While it's okay to use third-party music, creating your own graphics (or collaborating with an artist) would make your game shine even more.
Nevertheless, my sincerest congratulations, it's a great game and I had a fantastic time playing it!
What a funny game! The opening music is relaxing, I love it! The arrows on the ground are greatly appreciated; often when I play games of this type, I’m unsure of where to go. Although the arrows don't blend seamlessly with the environment, they definitely help the player. The dialogues are well-written, and the music consistently complements the gameplay. Fishing is challenging, but I managed to earn the gold :-).
The only thing is that, personally and in my humble opinion, I don't connect with the main character for some reason. However, that's a personal feeling and obviously doesn't affect my rating. I'm also impressed by the number of people who participated; managing and organizing a game with so many contributors is a tremendous achievement!
Overall, it's a very complete game. Great job!
@indie-game-academy, in my opinion, the reason I didn't fully connect with Munch, and to some extent with other characters, comes down to a more technical perspective. I noticed a lack of animations or facial expressions accompanying the dialogue, which I believe is key to building that connection.
I've often heard the intent to do something similar to Zelda. However, in the Zelda games, Link doesn't speak or show emotions because the idea is for the player to feel as though they *are* Link. In fact, you can even give him your own name. That's why Nintendo avoids giving him any distinct personality. But in this case, Munch does speak, and we hear a range of tones in his voice. However, when Munch talks, I don't see any corresponding expressions on his face, it remains static.
There are several ways this could be improved. For instance, you could animate the character when they speak, or you could simply display a portrait with different expressions alongside the dialogue. For example, when Munch emphasizes something, he could have one expression, and when he's serious, angry, or happy, he could have others. In my view, a system like yours would benefit from showing these changing expressions next to the text. It doesn't need to be a huge number of images! The same artist who created the scenes could spend a bit of time drawing these facial expressions to go with the dialogue. I think this would help me - personally, and this is just my humble opinion - connect more with Munch and the other characters overall.
That said, I still think this is a very well-rounded game and a huge achievement considering the size of the team. I hope this feedback comes across as constructive and isn't taken the wrong way.
Poor ducklings! Wow, it's a fantastic game and a hidden gem! I hope it gets the attention it truly deserves. The concept is quite original, where you have to line up three ducks, and in each turn, they move north, south, east, or west depending on which gate opens. I might suggest starting with fewer colors, then gradually increasing the difficulty. The game could really expand with combos, power-ups, for example. Since we're already destroying ducks, a power-up like a bomb that clears the surrounding ducks would be great. It's a very good game with a lot of potential, and I hope it gets 20 or more reviews. Great game!
What a fun game! It's been a while since I've played an RTS at Ludum Dare, and there aren't many of them these days! I really enjoyed it. I was left wanting more levels, unit types, and the ability to build structures because the concept of using tiny creatures in an RTS is something I haven't seen before. Have you considered expanding the game? I've always seen serious RTS games, but never with such adorable elements like tiny creatures. This is a great entry! Fantastic game!
Wow! I loved the game, and the concept is amazing. You mentioned it's only your second time using Godot, and I’m genuinely impressed because I don't think I could pull off that mix of 2D sprites and 3D environments. The idea of helping out with a walkie-talkie is fantastic, and I had never considered that kind of companion mechanic before. Seriously, great entry and a really cool game!
Another great game from Ace17! Ever since I discovered your game Summonere, I've been interested in your work. Your games always have a personal touch that I really enjoy, your style truly stands out. I've also always admired developers who use SDL. I did some experiments with it myself, and I have to admit it offers incredible freedom, though it does require a bit more programming effort. Abgrund, the game you've presented, is another fantastic title from you, and once again, it carries that unique charm of yours. The graphics and music are very much in line with your signature style, and they fit perfectly here. I love collecting trinkets, and the map is huge! The map design is excellent! There's really very little to criticize, perhaps just a small suggestion to consider moving to SDL3 in the future. The download links didn't work for me in Chromium, but they did in Firefox. Also, I really appreciate that you release your games for GNU/Linux. I use Debian, so that's a big plus for me. Congratulations on a great entry, I'm already looking forward to your next game!
Wow! What a fun game! One of the things I’ve been wanting to try is procedural generation, and it’s really well implemented here. I think it would be even better if each floor wasn’t always a straight path, but instead a full room with elevations and drops. That said, I totally understand that there’s not enough time to implement full room generation for every floor in just 72 hours. The graphics are fantastic, and along with the music, they create a truly unique mood. My sincerest congratulations, great game!
What a hidden gem with so few votes! Honestly, I think the idea is wonderful and really original. I had a blast playing it. Maybe I didn’t fully grasp the theme interpretation or it wasn’t entirely clear: is it about descending deep with the balls both upwards and downwards? Either way, not much to critique. My sincere congratulations, this seems like a strong entry. Great game!
I loved the game! Honestly, switching dimensions is a great mechanic for descending through the levels. The purple effect in the second dimension is really cool, is that a shader? I like it a lot. Maybe the player mechanics, especially the jumping, could be polished a bit. But aside from that, the game is really fun. Is the map procedurally generated? I replayed it and think it was the same map, but it felt like the kind of layout that would be procedurally generated, so I wasn't quite sure. Either way, that's impressive, especially pulling it off solo in such a short time! Great game!
Wow! What an original idea! The PeepCube™ mechanic is absolutely brilliant. The graphics are super polished, and the music ties everything together beautifully. And you did all of this solo in just 48 hours? That's seriously impressive. Sure, it takes a bit of time at first to get the hang of the mechanics, but once you do, it feels incredibly smooth and intuitive. I'd love to see PeepCube™ expanded with new levels and challenges, it has so much potential! I already have a bunch of ideas just thinking about it. Fantastic entry, great, great game!
Very original take on the hill climbing genre! And it fits the game jam theme perfectly! The addition of upgrades for the vehicle adds a great layer of progression that keeps me on. For me, controlling the car might feel a bit frustrating at beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes seriously addictive. Great game!
I can't play, the screen goes black. :worried:
Wow! What a great game! I agree with many others, the art is wonderful! The idea of building to climb and escape is really cool; it’s similar to the concept in my own game. I couldn’t find a fullscreen option on the web version, and when I run it in LOVE, it doesn’t go fullscreen either, so the pixels look a bit small. Still, my sincere congratulations, this is an outstanding entry. Great game!
Wow! What a great game! I had such a good laugh with John Jones, what a fantastic character! The graphics are really well done. At first, I wasn’t quite sure how to keep the family members together (I wasn’t sure if the dirt path was meant to separate them or not) but that confusion only lasted a moment. The "depths" theme couldn’t have been chosen better, ha ha. I absolutely loved this game, and for something made in just 48 hours, I’m seriously impressed. Hats off to you, great game!
Wow! I absolutely loved the game; amazing graphics, fantastic music, and brilliantly designed puzzles! I have to admit I did check a hint or two, haha. It might sound silly, but I struggled quite a bit at first with calibrating my mouse sensitivity; when I adjusted it, I couldn't immediately see how the changes affected the gameplay, which meant I had to try several values blindly. Also, since the menu is accessed with ESC, pressing it would exit fullscreen mode, which made things a bit more cumbersome. Despite this minor inconvenience, my heartfelt congratulations to the team, this entry is truly wonderful. By the way, will there be a desktop version? I use Debian GNU/Linux and would love to experience the game at full performance. Impressive music, graphics, and puzzle design... what a spectacular game!
"Gratz!" Great game! I finally beat it, even though I failed quite a few times! The game is simple, but it's super fun and challenging, which is what makes it so interesting! However, in my opinion, a challenge doesn't have to be frustrating. To make something challenging without being frustrating, you need to help the player out a little bit. For example, slightly smaller collision areas could make a big difference. Even if you set the hitboxes perfectly for each character and object, players might still feel the game is unfair. Maybe making the lava's hitbox a bit smaller would work wonders. That said, congrats again, I had a great time playing!
The game and its concept are really fun! I love how the music shifts from high to low depending on the layer, such a clever touch. My only complaint is that it felt too short! I was enjoying it so much, I just wanted more. Amazing entry, I absolutely loved it, my sincerest congratulations!
Wow, it looks like a promising game, I really hope you can finish it! Is it true you're going to do voice acting? Do you have an itch.io page where we can follow updates? As for the game, congratulations, the art is stunning, the music is exceptional, and the dialogues are very well written and scripted. I might suggest making the text a bit larger or at least allowing customization of the font size, but again, huge congratulations on the game, it's really well done, great entry and great game!
What a great game! I just finished it and honestly had a fantastic time playing. The graphics are beautifully done and the music is perfectly chosen, it really adds to the atmosphere.
If I may give a small piece of feedback, in this type of game I personally enjoy when it's a bit easier to upgrade to maximum everything, rather than having to wait a long time to make significant progress. At one point, I noticed that upgrading the ship to its final form was actually easier than improving the rest of the elements, which felt quite expensive in comparison. But that's just a personal preference!
Again, congratulations, this is the first game I've played in this edition of the jam, and I can already say it's one of my favorites (I’ve participated in several Ludum Dares before). Truly an amazing game!
@helagos, thanks for playing! Personally, I don't like mixing keyboard and mouse except in specific 2D games like a top-down shooter. Of course, if the game were more complete, I would include the option to change the input map. Thanks for your feedback!
@alvaroromeral, it's one of the things I was testing, it's not that complicated, really, try it. Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
@jcmonkey, thanks for playing! There's only one step left: descent to sunrise! :)
@benski: Wow! What an honor, truly! I don’t think anyone’s ever told me that before, at least not that I can remember! I really hope it stays as your favorite. You’re right about the animations, I would’ve loved to work on them, but I actually spent most of the second day designing the level. As you know, 48 hours isn’t a lot of time! Thanks so much for your feedback and your kind words, it’s things like this that keep me excited and motivated to keep making games. I really appreciate it!
@bridgeonastick: Thanks! Yeah, I really like trying to make new abilities usable as soon as possible after you acquire them, even if sometimes - like with the frog - it’s not absolutely necessary. Thanks for the feedback!
@reaktori, @bene-labs: Thanks a lot! I was going for a cavernous, fantastical atmosphere, and the darkblue visuals along with the flute music really helped bring that to life. The maze does seem big at first, but it turns out it's not that big after all! Thanks for playing, really!
@frogman: Thank you so much! 😊 Yes, I added the shader effects because those parts of the hallway were very long (I couldn't make them shorter due to the map design), so I thought it would be nice to add something visually interesting that wouldn’t interfere with the gameplay. I noticed that adding some visual impact made it feel less boring, and it also allowed me to give the player a visual clue that the exit is above (you can see there's a surface with dirt and sky). Thanks a lot for playing!
@yvanor: I'm really glad you managed to save the little creatures in the end 😊. As for the controls, that's something I'm still not fully settled on. At one point I used the arrow keys for movement, but some people preferred WASD, others the opposite, and some said it would be better to switch characters with the mouse click. I'm trying to please everyone, but it's impossible! I'd love to include custom controls, but with just 48 hours, there's not enough time if I also want to add graphics, music, etc. I'm really happy you enjoyed it, truly. Thanks a lot for playing!
@ein: Thanks for the suggestion! The thing is, others feel the opposite, and some even prefer switching characters with a mouse click. I really wanted to add customizable controls, but with only 48 hours, there just wasn't enough time. Sometimes you have to pick a control scheme that not everyone likes. Sorry it was uncomfortable for you. Thank you so much for playing! 😊
@piero-pbes-studio: Hahaha, yeah, honestly I would’ve loved to add animations and more character interactions, but the level design took up so much of my time! Thank you so much for playing and end the game! 😊
@henk: Yeah, maybe I should've made the double jump more neat and concise. During playtesting, I had to fix some other issues and people doesn't notice me. I hope you enjoyed the game. Thanks a lot for playing! 😄
@jeremyfa: Exactly! My original idea was four creatures with four different items, but as the hours passed, I had to cut things down. The first day was spent on mechanics and visual art, and the second day was mostly level design, polishing mechanics, music, and special effects. The idea with the magnet - or what I call anti-gravity - was to let the creatures use their ability vertically. You can see it at the end, but I didn’t have enough time, so this moment ended up being linear. (You can kind of see it when you pick up the third magnet.) I did think about your suggestion of a power-up that strengthens each character’s abilities, but I left it out because I felt the experience would stay the same; at the end of the day, it’s still about going through walls, breaking blocks, or digging through rocks. The only thing it would’ve done is make the game longer without adding anything new. I hope that makes sense. Thanks so much for playing! 😊
@hubol: Yeah, the frog is way too OP, I’ll have to nerf it, haha. My original idea wasn’t to collect three magnets, but due to time constraints, I just stuck with three and wrapped up the level design. Thanks a lot for playing! 😊
@coderaurus: Yes, actually! I had some extra art assets like plants and other little details to add more variety to the map. I really would’ve loved to include them. But on the second day, I spent a lot of time on level design and still had to finish the ending and the music. I also wanted to add objects, not just characters, to allow for different combinations. There's even a part of the map where you can use the magnet and combine it with the characters’ abilities! Thank you so much for playing! :)
@patatje: Wow! I’m so glad you enjoyed the game! And it makes me happy that you noticed each character has their own sound, I really wanted to give them a bit of personality. Thank you so much for playing! :)
@kukatoo: Yeah, I think I need to fine-tune the controls a bit more. That probably means more playtesting. Some people felt the controls were great, others said they were too floaty. I know there’s a sweet spot that could make most players happy, but for that, I really need more feedback. I'd love to get there because, in the end, I want as many people as possible to enjoy the game to the fullest. And by the way, it's an honor that the game reminded you - even just a little - of *Animal Well*. That truly means a lot. Thanks so much for playing! :)
@knarf: Yeah, the animations were a matter of priorities. On the first day, I focused on mechanics and art, but I didn’t have time for animations. In previous Ludum Dares, I spent the second day working on animations, but then I ran out of time for level design. This time, I decided to prioritize level design over animations. In the future, I definitely want to improve my efficiency when it comes to creating art. Oh, and no one had mentioned the little detail for those who managed to reach the sky! I wish I’d had time to add a more elaborate easter egg and some lore to expand the story! But yeah, like I said, I just didn’t have the time, and even the animations didn’t make the cut! Thanks a lot for playing! :)
@anson-rutherford: Thank you so much for saying the characters are charming! I really wanted to include a minimap, but I just couldn’t make it in time. I also had plans to expand the map a bit more with new gravity-flipping paths, but again—time. Still, I would’ve loved to add all that. Thanks a lot for playing! :)
@gargantuan-janitor: Wow, thank you so, so much for your kind words. I think I definitely need more testing with different kinds of players when it comes to the controls. Some people felt they were solid, others less so. Thanks again for playing! :)
@paulhocker: Yeah, I should’ve polished the jump mechanics more. I wish I’d done more testing to better tune the controls for the average player’s taste. And thank you for playing, it truly means a lot to me!
@bentglasstube: So lately I’ve been offering both WASD and arrow key controls. The thing is, I haven’t seen many other games offering control options like I do! But yeah, next time I’ll probably go with something like HJK for abilities when using WASD, and QWER when using arrow keys. Thanks for your feedback—and for playing! :)
@alaah: Wow! Thank you so much for uploading the video! I think this might actually be the first time someone’s made a video of one of my games! There’s honestly no better kind of feedback. Thanks for playing! :)
@beardywombat: I’m glad you made it to the end! And yes, I really wanted to expand more on the gravity-flipping mechanic and the character abilities, but just ran out of time to add more map content. Thanks so much for playing! :)
@mibi88: Wow! I honestly didn’t expect someone with an AZERTY keyboard! In Godot, I set the controls based on physical keys, so that A and D on QWERTY match up with Q and D on AZERTY. But maybe the issue was more about my choice of keys. I currently offer two movement control schemes, but in the future I might provide two full sets—maybe arrows + QWER for abilities, and WASD + JKL or something similar. Thanks so much for your feedback, and especially for playing! :)
@designernap: I hadn’t thought of *Trine* at all! But you’re right, the character-switching mechanic is used in quite a few games. I’m really happy you enjoyed it, thank you so much for playing! :)
@empyreans: Wow! I actually know *VVVVVV*, but I’ve never played it. I imagine most of the mechanics I used have probably been done before in other games too. I'm really glad you liked the music. I was going for something relaxing that wouldn’t feel too repetitive. And thank you for the video montage! I think it’s the first time someone has done that for one of my games. It really means a lot. Thank you so much for playing! :)
@alvaron: Ah, maybe you missed it! After picking up the first magnet, you need to head as far up and to the left as possible. From there, use the frog’s double jump with anti-gravity, and you’ll be able to get the second magnet. Then just find the third one and you’ll be ready for *Descent to Sunrise*! Thanks for playing, let me know if you try again! :)
@rolly: Thank you, thank you so much for your kind words. Comments like yours are what keep me motivated to keep making games and giving players little moments of joy. Some folks mentioned the minimap already, but yeah, a zoom-out feature might’ve been even more interesting and probably easier to implement. Thanks again for playing! :)
The title couldn't be a better tribute to the classic DOS game (or book)! What an impressive experience! I laughed so much, the mood is spot on. The game is fantastic, and the concept is absolutely brilliant. The dialogues are masterfully written, and the music couldn't be more perfectly composed. Such a well-rounded game built on a truly original idea. My sincerest congratulations, great game!
Wow! What graphics and what a mood! It's impressive! Honestly, at first, I struggled a bit to understand what I was supposed to do. I'm still in shock from the visuals, the atmosphere you've created is amazing. My sincere congratulations, great game!
Wow! I just discovered an amazing game that truly has it all: great graphics, fitting music, and outstanding gameplay. In my opinion, every aspect exceeds expectations and nothing feels lacking. If I had to suggest something, maybe the player could progress through levels a bit faster, since I believe this kind of game is meant to be replayed many times. Honestly, it's incredibly addictive. A fantastic entry, my sincerest congratulations, great entry!
Wow! Honestly, the game is pure, hard innovation; I’ve never played with a mechanic like scrolling a web page to make the diver ascend. I might slightly reduce the compression inertia, although that’s probably a deliberate design choice to encourage a slower, more deliberate pace. I have to say, the music perfectly complements the experience and creates a fantastic mood. A truly excellent entry, great game!
Wow, what a great game with so much potential! I agree with some of the opinions shared. I believe this type of game should focus more on puzzle-solving and thinking rather than player skill. Let me explain: there are two kinds of games, those that require physical skill and those that require logical thinking. I see this game as belonging to the second category, where logic is key. There can be a bit of skill involved, but it shouldn't be a barrier, as the real satisfaction comes from solving the puzzle. If a player finds the solution and then is asked to perform it with high precision, it can become frustrating. In my opinion, demanding high dexterity doesn't pair well with strong puzzle design. A small challenge is fine, but not too much. Those of us who feel this way aren't trying to be critical, we genuinely enjoy the game. Personally, I find the concept simple yet brilliant, with the potential for very complex levels that challenge the mind. With more levels and a bit of polish, this could easily be a Steam-worthy game. Please don’t take this as criticism, but as sincere feedback. I think it’s an amazing entry and a fantastic game, my heartfelt congratulations!
Wow, what a cool game! Honestly, I find the 3D graphics spectacular for a strategy game, it reminds me of Civilization. The resource generation mechanic to keep building is something I've always loved, and this game captures that feeling perfectly. Usually, background music is a nice touch in these kinds of games, even if it's not original, but the sound of the sea is so relaxing that it's not even necessary. I insist, great entry in this edition, great game!
Wow, what a great game and such incredible potential! I love the rope physics, and the level design is excellent. I would have loved to see graphics with a unique art style, but I totally understand that you focused more on programming and game design. Still, this game deserves more attention and a bigger audience, I absolutely love it. Great game!
Wow! What a complete game, it even has a final boss! I really enjoyed the level design, and it truly feels like a full-length experience. Maybe it’s just me, but I found myself wanting to move diagonally. I guess I’m just used to that kind of control scheme. Still, I imagine the choice to descend straight down rather than at an angle fits the submarine theme, it makes sense for the gameplay and setting. All in all, this entry feels super polished. Great game!
Wow! What an impressive 3D game, and made by just one person! I haven't dared to try something like that yet, but maybe one day I will! It really deserves credit. The game is fun and I like the level design! I'm using a small laptop and had to set my browser zoom to 90% (1080p) on itch.io, just for your information. As others have mentioned, I would suggest adding a shadow on the ground to help the player with jumping. Still, I think the game is really cool, and honestly, hats off to you for making it in 3D. Great game!
Wow, this game deserves to be much more well-known! I love the concept, and above all, I never imagined it would challenge the limits of my 3D spatial awareness. Despite its simple premise, it hides a really cool mechanic where the better your 3D vision, the more points you can score, and it's well executed. In many 3D platformers, jumping can be frustrating if there’s no shadow beneath the character to show where they'll land, but this game avoids that issue by belonging to a different genre. Here, you have to rely on your spatial understanding to judge the distance between the character in 2D and the target. Sure, the game could use some polish in terms of animations, music, and other details, but overall, it’s a simple yet genuinely interesting idea. Great game!
First of all, hats off to you. Creating a game using your own game engine, MibiEngine2, is a huge achievement and you should be proud of everything you’ve accomplished. As a Debian GNU/Linux user, I sincerely appreciate that you provided a build for this operating system. Since you asked for feedback, I’ll do my best to give it constructively. In my humble opinion, the first area to improve is the audio; just a few sound effects would greatly enhance the game, even without music. Many game jam entries have scored very highly with sound effects alone. Next, I’d suggest allowing players to upgrade resources immediately after dying rather than having to return to the main menu. It could also be interesting if mineral resources were used for upgrades, and apples or chickens were added as food elements. Other than that, the game is already a lot of fun, and the fact that you built it with your own engine makes it feel truly unique. Unlike games made with engines like Godot or Unity, which tend to share similar physics and feel, games like yours have a special charm. So, congratulations again, I genuinely think it’s a great entry and a great game.
Great game! The graphics are really impressive, and the sound design makes it truly immersive.
If I had to suggest something, it would be about the initial clarity of the gameplay. At first, I struggled a bit to understand what I was supposed to do. Even though the instructions are clearly written in bold in the game description, it didn’t quite click right away. Maybe it would help to display a message at the very beginning of the game saying something like: "Disembark from the drill, gather resources, and defend it!" Just to highlight the player's main objectives from the start.
That said, I can only congratulate you on creating such an awesome game. Well done!
Great game! Honestly, I really liked the graphics, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I love that the controls are shown right at the beginning, not just in the tutorial but also on the first screen; that's super helpful since sometimes I have to look them up in the description or I just forget. It would be great to have a fullscreen option, I didn’t see one, and that would make the experience even more immersive. Controller support is an awesome touch. It’s true that there’s a bit of lag at the start of the first level and it runs a little slow, but things improve shortly after. Aside from that, seriously, my sincerest congratulations to the team, I loved it. Awesome game!
Wow! It honestly looks promising! The graphics were really well done, and the music was perfectly chosen (by the way, what's the song? I love it!). The fact that it uses procedural generation is no small feat, it clearly took a lot of work and effort. It’s a shame you couldn’t finish it, because it had so much potential. If you ever decide to complete the game, let us know, I’ll play it, and I’m sure many others would love to play it too!
Wow! I absolutely love this kind of game! I honestly didn't expect to descend from the heavens as a bush, literally, to collect sausages . The level design is really well done, and I really enjoyed the downward movement mechanic. Maybe I'd add one or two more mechanics, but overall, huge kudos for the game, it made me laugh and I had a blast. Great game!
Wow! What a cool concept. I love these fresh ideas and how much you can get out of a single theme to create something original! I had a great time and made it to floor -22. Honestly, the concept is really solid and I don’t have many complaints! Maybe, for my humble personal taste, just avoid repeating characters and add a couple of new ones instead, though I’m not sure if that was due to time constraints or a design choice. Either way, my sincere congratulations, this is an spectacular first entry for your first Ludum Dare. Great game!
Great game! I really enjoyed it! I love the idea of picking up and stacking boxes, collecting coins, and facing different enemies with unique behaviors, it makes the game very engaging. I also really like the pixel art style and the music you chose. One thing that would definitely improve the experience is fixing the bugs that occur when boxes get stuck on top of the character. A game this fun can quickly become frustrating, and some players might stop playing because of it. Fixing those issues would let people fully enjoy the experience. That said, my sincere congratulations. I was so annoyed I couldn't finish it, I was just one coin short! I'm excited to see more of your games in the future! Great job!
Wow! Great game! I honestly loved it, and the ending was spectacular. It was a real challenge and I enjoyed playing it all the way through. The beginning was a bit difficult for me, and maybe making that part a little easier could help reduce early frustration and keep more players from quitting. I believe that if you want to appeal to a wider audience, especially in the context of a game jam, it's important to adapt the difficulty a bit to the target players. Visual hints are a great idea, there are already some, like the breakable platforms, but I think a few more cues would help players better understand what's below them, as sometimes I wasn't sure if I would die or not. Still, my sincere congratulations to the team. I had a great time and enjoyed it from start to finish. For a game made in just 72 hours, it clearly took a lot of work, and I really appreciate your effort. I'm excited to see more of your games in the future!
Wow! What a game! Honestly, I really enjoyed the levels, the music, and the graphic design, it's all really well done. If I had to point out one small thing, it would be that I'd like to be able to "see" a bit more, since I often have to get very close to things. I think if the view were pulled back just a little, it wouldn't take away from the game's charm - which is all about discovery - and it might even improve the gameplay experience a bit. But that's just a personal opinion! Once again, an amazing game! I'm excited to see more from this team. Great game!
Interesting concept! I really like how it gets darker as you go down, the lighting effects are great and really help set the mood. I'm not quite used to the character's movement, and the music feels a bit repetitive for me, but overall, I think it's a great game! For your first entry, it's impressive, good game!
What a great game! I honestly loved it. The way the mechanics interact with each other and how they tie into the theme is really impressive. If I had to suggest one thing, it would be to slightly adjust the difficulty curve. For instance, at the first red barrier where I have access to the dash, there's a noticeable spike in difficulty, it requires gliding, dashing, and gliding again to reach the wall. That section feels like quite a jump compared to what came before, but of course, that's just my personal opinion. That said, I just want to congratulate you, amazing work, truly a great game!
Wow, what a great game! I love the PSX-style graphics and the music choice, both create an incredible mood and a truly unique sense of originality. It might be interesting to add a few more mechanics to interact with the girl or include some extra visual customization for the cave. Is the cave procedurally generated? If so, my compliments. Despite these small suggestions, I just want to offer my sincere congratulations. What an excellent entry, great game!
Wow! What an incredible debut at Ludum Dare, and using Unreal Engine, no less! I also had no idea what siphonophores were before this, it's always fun to learn something new. Honestly, the game is fantastic. It's like a twist on Snake, but with a fresh and intriguing concept. It would've been interesting to see some visuals that show exactly what a siphonophore looks like, but I totally get that time is super limited, I had the same issue. I also wanted in my game to add more synergies between objects and characters, and some animations, but the clock ran out. Your game felt way too short, I wanted more! Truly impressive first entry for Ludum Dare. Can't wait to see what you make next!
Wow! The aesthetics and music really remind me of the original Warcraft I and classic MS-DOS games from that era. It's a cool strategy game, and honestly, it’s clear a lot of work went into it. At first, I wasn't quite sure how to select units - IMHO there wasn't a clear visual cue - but that confusion only lasted a moment. After that, it was smooth sailing. All in all, great job! For something made in just 48 hours for a compo, it's truly impressive. Fantastic game!
I’ve finished the game, and I can honestly say I loved it! Collecting animals, plants, and other items was so much fun, especially organizing them all. I’m not sure if it was possible to rotate things because I was so focused on arranging the animals that I didn’t notice. For me, it’s an incredibly enjoyable and well-rounded game in every way. My sincerest congratulations. Excellent entry, great game!
@hjalte Wow, I didn’t know that! Thanks for pointing it out! Very good game!
Wow! It’s a shame the game isn’t finished, it looks really promising! Every now and then I like playing 3D games, though they tend to be more complex. Still, the freedom and immersion are on another level compared to 2D. I really enjoy exploring the environment. Seriously, great entry, awesome game!
Wow! What a hidden gem! This definitely deserves more votes. The graphics are professional-level, and the music perfectly fits the pixel-art era it represents. It’s a very complete tower defense game, I love it! At first, I was a bit confused about how to play and lost quite a few hearts, but once I got the hang of it, I had no trouble progressing. Overall, it’s a well-rounded entry, awesome game!
How cool! It reminds me of an old MS-DOS game I used to play where you had to climb stairs and collect hats! Maybe the character moves a bit slowly and replaying a level can feel a little tedious, but even so, congratulations! I think it’s an excellent entry. Great game!
Wow! What an amazing game made in just 72 hours! The 3D graphics are excellent, with a great low-poly art style and very well-made character animations. The gameplay is really fun, and it even includes a bit of story with characters. It would be nice to have an option to adjust the mouse sensitivity when aiming (unless I just missed it). Still, congratulations, this feels like a very well-rounded game. Great entry, fantastic game!
Wow! What a hidden gem! At first I was completely lost, but then I realized it was Morse code. It’s such an amazing and creative way to learn Morse code. I absolutely loved the game and really hope people appreciate it for what it is. I can’t believe it doesn’t have more votes and recognition. My congratulations, great game!
Wow! What a fun mechanic! This game feels perfect for an analog joystick where you can control the character’s speed and keep the balls from falling. Such a cool and innovative idea. I would’ve loved to see more of this game! Imagine a roguelike version where the balls spawn in different places, with some enemies and upgrade purchases afterward. That would be insanely fun. Great entry, awesome game!
Wow! What a hidden gem! It really deserves more votes. The graphics are excellent, and the music fits perfectly. Even though the game is short, it’s effective, fun, and entertaining. Sometimes less is more, and by keeping it simple, it becomes a well-rounded experience. I would have loved more levels, power-ups, or enemies, but not at the expense of the great quality it already has. Once again, good entry, great game!
Wow! That’s awesome! And it even has achievements to unlock! I love the white orb that wipes out all the enemies! I would’ve liked to see a few more items or maybe some shooting mechanics. Still, congratulations. Great game!
Wow! What an amazing game! It’s like Minecraft but with a skill tree! Honestly, it’s incredible that you managed to make this in just 72 hours. Outstanding work! The music choice is spot-on, too. If it gets a lot of success, I’d definitely consider releasing an extended version on Steam or other platforms. Really solid entry, great game!
Impressive game! The artistic level is outstanding. The game design is finely tuned, including the difficulty, and the music complements it perfectly. Altogether, it’s a well-rounded experience in every aspect. My sincere congratulations to the entire team. Awesome game!
Wow! That’s amazing, using trendy card mechanics like those in Balatro to fend off a horde of enemies. It also reminds me of Plants vs. Zombies. Every aspect stands out and comes together beautifully, making for a well-rounded game. Congratulations, great game!
Wow! What a gem! I love the 3D graphics, and the idea of picking up vehicles really made me smile. At first, I was collecting cars without knowing where to take them, and then I realized it was right at the starting point, ha, ha. If I had to suggest something, maybe the main menu presentation could be refined a bit, but that’s really minor. The map is large and well designed, and the AI for the other cars works great. The visual cues showing where to attach the vehicles are also a huge help. I have to say, this is an excellent game, and I noticed you have others from previous Ludum Dare editions, so I’ll definitely check them out. Great entry!
Honestly, being a tax collector turns out to be surprisingly fun! The theme fits perfectly, the graphics are really well done, and the music sets a great mood with an impressive touch of humor. I’m not sure if the penalty for taking things you shouldn’t is a bit too light, though maybe that’s intentional. It actually makes sense that you’d be rewarded more for collecting proper taxes than for grabbing what isn’t yours, now that I think about it, haha. Fantastic game, I loved it, great entry!
Wow, what a hidden gem! The idea of entering a ship and then going inside it again to collect items is fascinating. I love the pixel art and the music is really captivating. The lore is also excellent. This game has a lot of potential, and the concept of diving deeper like a Matryoshka doll makes it truly fascinating. Great game!
@crowelian: Thanks for your kind words! I'm really glad you liked it! :)
@spacecadet: Wow! I'm so happy you think it feels polished. Thank you! :)
@braulio-jg: Thanks so much for your words and for finishing the game! I really wanted to design the levels more thoughtfully, but there just wasn't enough time. Thanks again! :)
@tykki19: Thanks a lot for appreciating the content! I really wanted to polish it a bit more, but 48 hours just isn't enough. :)
@enad96: Yeah, that's why I added the "restart level" key (T). I didn't have time to refine the mechanics and also create all the levels. Thanks so much for playing! :)
@michellef: Yeah, it's true that it's tricky at first, but it gets fun once you get into it. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing! :)
@bit0: Yes! I'm kind of specializing in platform and puzzle games with a pixel art style. Thanks a lot for your kind words and for playing! :)
@bo3bmak: Yeah, I totally understand that! I should have polished that mechanic more. I hope you give it another try and enjoy it. Thanks for playing! :)
@kallico: Yes, the last level ended up being a bit harder than expected. I should have balanced it better. Thanks a lot for playing! :)
@mikita-gancharou: Yeah, I wish I had more time to polish the mechanics, but I'm happy you liked the overall result. Thanks so much for playing and enjoying it! :)
@john-gabriel: Yes, I'm a big fan of Godot! I wish I had polished the mechanics more, but I'm glad you liked the game overall. I want to keep improving in every aspect, including music and pixel art. Thanks for playing! :)
@blackcat508: Yeah, I should have refined the mechanics a bit more, but I'm glad you found the game fun overall. Thanks a lot for playing! :)
@ciphereo: Thanks! I'm really glad you liked it, and thanks for playing! :)
@lesdremlet: Yeah, I wanted to make a different kind of jump this time since I usually make traditional platformers. I'm happy you liked how it turned out. Thanks for playing! :)
@xsangyhix: Yeah, I really wish I had time to polish the game more, both the mechanics and especially the level design. The mechanics allowed for so many cool possibilities like co-op play, jumping, the hook, helping each other by stacking characters, and even the levers. I wanted to create better levels around those ideas. Still, I'm glad you managed to finish the game. Thanks so much for playing! :)
@daniboygg: Thanks for the suggestions! I usually believe that the less UI on screen, the better, but you might be right. That's something I could fine-tune with more playtesting. Thanks for playing! :)
@f2: Thanks so much for finishing it! I hadn't thought of that! Since it's a co-op game, I wasn't sure which would feel better: waiting for your partner to complete their part or restarting together. Your idea could make one player impatient, but at the same time, if one player is more skilled, they might not mind replaying levels to keep things moving. It's hard to say which option is best, but it's definitely worth considering. Thanks for playing! :)
@alwayshungry: That's strange, you're the only one who's had that issue. Try running it again. Could you tell me your setup? Nobody else has reported any bugs so far! :)
@bluedandelion: Yeah, the last level is pretty tough! I did think about using the arrow keys, but some people use 60% keyboards or just prefer WASD. I like arrows too, but it's hard to please everyone. Thanks for playing! :)
@xpoho: Wow! I'm so happy you enjoyed it! It made my day to read your comment, especially knowing your kids had so much fun. That really means a lot to me. Thanks a ton for playing together as a family! :)
@kaba: I'm glad you finished it, and on your first try! There's always something to improve, and 48 hours go by so fast. I wish I had time for playtesting and better level design, but still, thank you so much for playing! :)
@coleslaughter: Thanks so much for playing! It made me really happy to see you play, and I laughed a lot at your friends' comments, especially when they sang my song, haha! Thanks a lot for playing! :)
@bacontree The honor has been mine that you played it, and even more that you finished it! Thank you so much for playing and enjoying it! :)
Wow! What a hidden gem! This game has so much potential. As a regular Magic player, I really enjoy this kind of game. I played it on the web, but I couldn’t manage to switch to full screen; it might be nice to include that option to make the text easier to read. Aside from that small detail, congratulations, it’s a fantastic game!
I beat it! Whew, that wasn’t easy! I definitely need to work on my memory. It’s a Simon-style game with a clever collecting theme. It really wasn’t easy, but the sense of satisfaction was huge. The art is excellent and the humor is absolutely hilarious, some of the best I’ve seen. It’s a great and very solid entry, all made by you! My sincere congratulations, great game!
I finished the game! I absolutely love the triple jumps and that level where you can just jump as much as you want, ha, ha! I’m a big fan of platformers and this one really clicked with me. At first it took me a bit to get used to the controls, but later I really appreciated the character’s speed and how many jumps you can pull off. The level design is good and, for me, the difficulty felt just right. My sincere congratulations, I had a blast playing it. What an awesome entry. Great game!

What an interesting game! It’s honestly quite engaging because collecting items and then digging makes me want to keep playing. I do miss a bit of animation on the hamster, even just a couple of frames, and some background music, even if it’s from third-party sources, would fit perfectly. The art is truly excellent and the game is fantastic. Congratulations on your first solo jam, great entry!
Wow! That’s awesome! I actually went back to C and SDL recently to make some games, and I have to say, I really missed having a garbage collector, ha ha! Good entry, great game!
@daniboygg Yeah, I started with C and SDL, but in the end it’s true that I ended up implementing a map editor, a physics engine, etc.
Wow! What a cool game! It really deserves to be more played and better known. I love the graphics, and the music is great too. Maybe I’d make the garbage truck a bit faster at the beginning or allow it to turn more easily right from the start to make it more engaging early on. But of course, maybe the idea was precisely to highlight how tricky it is to handle such a truck from the very beginning, ha, ha. Congratulations to the team, great entry, awesome game!
Wow! What an amazing artistic direction, both visual and auditory! I kind of missed having a bit more interaction or being able to see the photos I took to witness the consequences of my actions. Still, the artistic direction is outstanding, and the fact that you created everything yourself is truly impressive. Great entry!
What great potential this game has! I loved it, it’s an exploration and adventure game with so much room to grow. The art for the bear and the wolves is fantastic! I might not have fully grasped where the theme fits in, but I guess that’s because the game isn’t finished yet, probably the goal was to obtain the tooth item, haha. It’s really a pity you couldn’t complete it, but since I follow you on itch.io, I’ll be keeping an eye out for any updates you release! Thanks for uploading it!
Wow! The graphics are stunning, and that tall monster in the background gives the scene an incredible atmosphere. Truly impressive. The game fits the theme perfectly. It’s true that having a short tutorial or an initial guide to learn the controls would be helpful. Other than that, my sincerest congratulations. This is a high-quality entry. Great game!
Wow! This was so much fun! Every element of the game is very well designed and polished: the art, the music, the gameplay, everything. At first, I wasn’t sure if I had to rotate the arms myself, but then I saw it happens automatically. Maybe making it a bit faster or slightly more difficult could be nice, though that’s just a personal opinion. I have to say, it’s a very complete game that gradually adds new elements as you play. I loved it, great, great entry!
I played it all the way through and loved every moment of it! The story draws you in right from the start, and everything, the item collecting, the art, the music, the theme, the atmosphere, fits together beautifully. If I had to suggest one thing, maybe a small visual cue for the mouse when hovering over clickable objects could help. Still, my sincerest congratulations, it’s a very solid and complete game from start to finish. I reached the “The End..?” screen, and now I’m wondering if there’s a sequel coming or if I missed something to collect or do. Truly, a great great game!
I really like it! It actually reminded me a bit of Vampire Survivors. I love the minimalist art style and the gameplay feels great. The game is a bit difficult for me, especially at the beginning, but aside from that small detail, my sincere congratulations. It’s a solid entry, and for a compo, it’s fantastic. Great game!
Funny tribute to Duck Hunt, ha, ha! The graphics are truly spectacular, and the humor is undeniably good. If I had to mention something, I’d suggest lowering the sound effects a bit so the music can be heard more clearly. But aside from that small detail, my sincere congratulations, it’s a great game!
Wow! Great game for your first participation in Ludum Dare! Regarding the music, I recommend using [BeepBox](https://www.beepbox.co) if you want quick results, since the Compo format can be quite challenging given how little time you have to do everything. The graphics look good and will improve with patience, and if you’d like more creative freedom when making your own games, I encourage you to try engines like Godot. If you enjoy creating games, keep learning and experimenting, you’re off to a great start! Good entry, good game!
Wow! What a great game! I truly love the art style, minimalist yet full of carefully chosen shapes and effects. The accompanying music is perfectly selected and makes the gameplay experience really enjoyable. What an amazing first entry in the Game Jam, congratulations!
I’ve beaten the game! I even love that you can leave the final screen and go back to the original world, hehe. I’m a huge fan of platformers, and this one more than delivers. The level design is fantastic and, for me, the difficulty is just perfect. My sincerest congratulations, I had an absolute blast. What a good entry, great game!
