I liked that game (even I couldn't beat the last level :( ) Good ideas in it, easy to play and nice ambient music.

@skosnowich I got it and finished the game ! You, indeed, are cruel :japanese_goblin:
Amazing ! I laughed so hard during the game ! Fun to play, fun story, great job here !
Yes the idea is nice, especially with the choice at the bginning of each turn... but what are the wood and the stone for ?
I think the fire is bugged (it lasts all the game, not only 3 turns), and I have no penalty when choosing actions that require resources I don't have.
Nice idea and base, but you should develop it a bit more, there is no real gameplay for now.
The theme is not really happy, and I felt the same discomfort as when playing this war of mine. Speaking gameplay, I don't really feel I'm making difficult choices : I always choose the ones with the best recovery chances. Do people with 95 recovry chance always die when I dont treat them ?
The realization is perfect however, as well as the theme. Really good work !!!
Quick, fun, clever.
One of my favorite games this jam. You have to have an eye on all what's happening on the screen and think fast.
However it misses a little something to make me try again and again. Perhaps a little more control somehow? A score based on the time you last seems more interesting.
I really enjoyed to play. Good work
An easy to understand and no so easy to win game  Very addictive, I couldn't stop 'til I got to the end. Graphics are good looking and animations are great. It just miss an ambient music. You can be proud of your game !
Very good idea and nicely implemented.
It is a bit difficult for me (I'm not used to platform games). I personnaly would have appreciated more puzzles than dexterity challenge, but it's only my feeling :)
I really appreciate you followed the theme and proposed a matching mechanism. Nice !
Waouh ! What an impressive game ! I'm marveled by your neat graphics, animation and music. And the gameplay is really innovative. A really smart puzzle game.
It might have already been asked, I didn't read all previous messages : I wish there was a way to access to any level directly through the main menu : if you want to take a break you can't go back to the level you were without completing the previous ones again. But don't worry it doesn't spoil the fun ! Otherwise, I found the game not really into the theme.
Anyway, this game is the best I played so far in this LD. Congratulations !
It's a pity I can't play properly with my foreign keayboard Game seemed very original with really nice ideas. I found the tutorial in the first screens a smart idea. Unfortunately I could not defeat any enemy.
Good work, especially in a compo ! I d'ont really get the theme, through?
Funny and good looking but difficult. I could not find a way to hit excepted to throw a lot and pray Luck. Dodging is fun however.
Maybe you could turn it into a handball game for example, with something to hit/protect? Graphics are nice, but I miss a bit of sfx.
Good starting base I would say!
Simple principle, but quite enjoyable. The simple interface makes you want to try always a bit further.
I played a little while but eventually quitted because I felt I only could go to the mountains, where I died several times by apparently pure bad luck. This was frustrating
I really liked the atmosphere of the game, very well supported by great graphics, animation and sounds ! Though, instant deaths are pretty frustrating as some parts of the game are hard to go throught. Anyway, you did a great job here and I enjoyed playing your game
I got myself stuck into the option menu, had to reload the game. Maybe I missed the go back button. The first part is difficult to play with a keyboard. Second part of the game is fun though ! Liked the music :)
I really love the graphics, and sounds are nice too The game misses some challenge (stick to the upper of the screen and it's ok) and of course a goal
Perhaps if we had to pickup gas to keep warming that would add some gameplay.
But really it looks terrific :)
I agree with the comment about control, which are hard to handle. I stopped playing when the small got propelled out of the fence (and then couldn't go back in) Graphics and animation are great and it was fun to play
Good idea to propose the arrows, so AZERTY keyboards can play ;)
I really like your strange universe and the efforts on environment
I think a quick win would be to give more information to the player: - I did not understand at beginning why I could not move (dialogs) - Give health bar to enemies - Give number of remaining waves
In second time, perhaps a little diversity on the attacks ?
Nice little game. I played till the end... Good UX, I understood quickly ho to play. Perhaps it would be better to have productivity info directly on worker sprites, and click on them to sacrifice ?
I'm not really fond of the big font for the messages, I found it difficult to read
A good base, now you can put more gameplay.
Great use of the theme ! As @tadpolily said, makes you understand how powerless you are without the powerups. Camera change and control change really are a pain in the *** ! Loved it, even it become really hard in the end.
Simple but fun and well done
Totally within the theme, nice little music... and I appreciate to restart on current level as I'm not a good player ;)
Is it winnable? I die very fast from lack of vitality There is a little bug when priest get you till the border of the map: your are stuck and no game over happens
Nice atmosphere game. It made me smile, even I had to do some heartbreaking sacrifice. Good job here, especially for a first !
@XCVZXC Lol, and how do you pronounce your name ? ;)
@liseroth well done, it is not easy to win the first games !
@aortega @frank-gevaerts @doug-graham @blackwen @krylos Thanks for your perseverance and your feedbacks! I agree the interface is not obvious, and we clearly lacked time to work on this (messages, hints, better icons, ...), as well as a little tutorial I'm glad you could find some fun with game nevertheless!
I added some explanations at the end of the game description. I hope people can start playing with that..
@lizouille thank you for you're appreciation :) @blast unfortunatly we couldn't find a musician for the event. But we're glad you enjoyed it anyway :)
@antti-haavikko Thanks for these review and feedbacks! I agree we propose a quite complex game, with little help... It certainly will be the priority if we go for a V2
Nice graphics! Very stylish I could not stand the music more than 30s Very good idea, and cool realization
Some improvement points: - Difficult to understand how to play at the beginning - I gave up after waiting for a pig more than 1 minute... So I don't know if you have some sool level designs after zone 04 :(
Nice little graphics, and a funny story. It is well in theme, and the gameplay is easy.
But I get a bit bored after 3 minutes of play. It seems I can construct as many towers I want. And as there are no obstacles and the ennemies just wander on the map there is no strategic places to build them.
You also did not follow the "normal" rule of money given by killed ennemies, which is a good way to keep balance between buildings and enemies progression.
Nice base, but missing, as to me, a clear gameplay proposition
Very nice idea, and goog level design. I really enjoyed playing several levels, with progressive difficulty, and the need to find the good idea each time. Also, the game is not too difficult, and I could enjoy myself despite my lack of skill...
I just miss a bit of polish. Not only graphics, but perhaps just displaying the number / name of level, a little message about a story, the number of tries, ...
Thanks for the game, I had good time testing it !
Nice idea
Whaou Really nice intro and beautiful graphics. Gameplay is simple, but it is very easy to understand and to play
@koolruz Yes, we still have some bugs, especially with animations when carrying wood. And a timer is definitively missing. Thanks for your comments
@greenfly @matootsy @zimennik @very-dark-lord) Thanks for your comments
We indeed have some control issues. We made them better in a new release (that we will not publish before the end of the jam, of course), and we still need to work on that. It is more difficult than we though first ;)
@theceases @lestat @kaeveris @moi93101 @jrf @twowolf @wickedwicket Thanks all for your feedbacks. We are really happy if our game gave you some fun.
@jupiter-hadley Thanks for your test! Short, but very instructive to us about what is wrong in the gameplay.
It gave us a good boost to try to make it better.
@adam-clayden Thank you for your message.
When you carry the log, go near the fire and press space to drop the wook in the fire.
Good challenge to make a 2P game, but I'm confined alone... I miss a little bot to completely try the game
Nice music, and neat simple graphics as well as animations Just by playing alone, I don't really imagine how you can pray without being hit immediately... I think it's just too simple for a barbarian-like to give a good gameplay.
(Bug ? : praying does not work if you're not oriented to the right)
Good game with good potentiel. With better background graphics and sounds like when gathering resources, the mood should be great!
I quite like the game. It's a pity it's too slow, I would like to play much faster without waiting for all animations. (Anad also qpeed up the intro...)
Second remark is that it takes several tries to understnd the rules of the scene. And as it is too slow, it's a bit discouraging :(
Graphics are ok for pixelart, and it's nice to have made some animations. It's engaging.
Excellent production arts, sounds and gameplay! Although the game is simple, my daughters are fighting to play first :)
Great game with smart ideas. Very good use of the zooms on the scene : pushes you to explorate without be scared of an unexpected danger coming from the edge of the screen! Great!
I will not talk about the graphics Your game has nice little details like the window when fire is out of screen, the possibility to run, which are always appreciated.
I missed a counter to understand what what the score before I lose. After 167s I didn't know what was the objectives and I got bored. Perhaps you could make levels with a defined time to last each time? It also could be fun to be able to throw the objects from further.
Really nice gameplay idea, and Graphics are funny
I miss a hit feedback, and perhaps to hide disabled ennemies, so I understand better what happens. I miss also any feedback also when the cat is hit.
Good gameplay, but it lacks some sorts of scoring bonuses to push to tthe fault :)
Classic gameplay, but pretty well made! Good ideas and nice graphics
Nice puzzle, simple but very well finished. I really enjoyed having a tutorial (but the typing of the text is a bit too slow) Interface is well though and very usable. Graphics could be more fun and perhaps give more character to the game Musics and sounds are top.
A really nice realization, with remarkable quality.
Graphics and music are really nice ! I really liked the retro-game style, reminded me of the old wolfenstein3D or quake :)
Good job here !
It looks very interesting, but I found difficult to understand well what's going on in the different places, despite the tutorial. Stats are difficult to read without the zoom.
Nice graphics and audio.
Waouh ! Pretty impressive ! The rotating map is such a great idea ! Loved it !
Music, graphism and level design are really amazing. Really great job there :)
@fireslash Yes we kept the somehow chaotic behaviour on purpose. It's part of the game to learn to anticipate the oscilations. After 2 or 3 tries, you begin to "feel" it, but it's true there is a learning curve! For curiosity, you can have a look at the "kids" mode (but it's also quite slower) to test a more precise control.
Thanks for your feedback
Nice little game. Really enjoyable when you're not really in a work mood at the office ;)
Nice idea but i'm blocked by the graphics. Really not my taste. I did not like the blood strains neither.
It was a good starting idea for a puzzle game however, with even loots and bonuses.
That was a trick one ! The hint about the main room helped me a lot and, as @fireslash, I wrote on a piece of paper the instructions ;) I almost quit the game so I enjoyed the win screen message ^^
Nice job there !
At the beginning I found it was too easy, but I quickly changed my mind! Nice simple little game, new puzzle mechanism.
And thank you for making me discover Puzzlescript :)
Nice simple game. I was a bit disoriented as the controls are not relative to the direction of the marble (like for example in snake game).
Pros : The round shape map is a pretty good twist for a platformer. Graphics were nice. Platformer mechanics work fine and I had no bug.
Cons : The music was really repetitive and at some point I muted the game. Some levels are a little too big but I understand it's related to the planet like map.
Completely in the theme, but quickly boring, let's be honest! Repetition, lack of challenge.
For the realization, it's quite correct, even if some textures would have been nice. I don't know if it's easy, but slighty turning the car when you use the keys would give a nice feedback to the player. Add bonuses, speed, moving obstacles, cut the gameplay into levels of 1 min.
Visual and sounds are really good.
I had a bit of a trouble to aim witch was really frustrating for me. I couldn't manage to push the bodies into the pit. That's a pity because the rest of the game is well thought out.
Well in the theme. The bouncing bulets was a funny idea, but it's really difficult (for me...) to dodge my own bullets.
Nice idea and development. It misses a bit of balance (too easy I think), but it was nice to discover it.
Beautiful and funny to play. I really apreciate your game. The theme is well present in the gameplay itself. Very high quality overall!
Just 2 (little) remarks: - Music is nice, but I missed some sound FX on my actions - Perhaps a bit of explanation about the monsters you recruit (just a message on hover?) whould help for immersion
Really funny. Good thing to have added the little adventure below. I'd even liked more interaction with it. Perhaps for a V2 :)
If you want to play in a a big enough window, this is the link to genuine itch.io game: https://psevrain.itch.io/shared-levels
Sorry, I can't beat an enemy :( And thus I could not enjoy all the rest of your game. The hitbox of the weapon is a mistery for me
Funny and original, nice graphics.
LOL. Very satisfying and consitent: graphics art, theme, gameplay. But the controls are hard to handle, and I just tried a few games.
I loved the cat drawings :)
Wow! Very impressive art style and implementation. You completely integrated the theme in the gameplay, and it's so satisfying.
Just a remark : I did not feel I was resolving a mistery, but I was told a (classic) story. I just wandered in circle waiting to see if an object highlighted.
Funny simple gameplay. I like the "stop or again" mechanism.
A bit repetitive avec 5 or 6 mobs. I missed some special cards, combos, ... And perhaps also different upgrades than just the avalailable space.
Not a big fan of the art (my taste..), but it's neat. I missed sfx also, just to give a bit of rythm to the game and the actions
Funny, and nice artistic direction. I did not understand well the stuff about loce and limited space, though :)
Nice idea, but moves are cumbersome and a bit fastidious. I made a row of more than 10 cubes, and only 10 cubes disappeared.
I agree with a comment above: a quick restart key would be useful
