This is really fun, but challenging! Food could've been more plentiful though, my little birdies starved to death.

Very cool little game. The game is kinda hard, but fun. Great job!
Good Job, Clever design!
thank for your feedbacks, @aerosoap and @slimbun :) Yes, right. I think the difficulty is a bit hard. Will try decrease it later.
This game is surprisingly deep, and I love the message it sends about caring for the environment! Well done!
What a cute game. I dig the graphics and feel of the game. I was so sad when the tree burned for the first time :((
Great game with smart ideas. Very good use of the zooms on the scene : pushes you to explorate without be scared of an unexpected danger coming from the edge of the screen! Great!
Nice graphics. Very hard to grab items.
Oh, this game is nice, though the theme is kind of depressing. But rings true.
Perfect length and very satisfying game, pretty good stuff, even when I went bathing in acid
This is so sweet. At first I thought it was really brutal because my tree caught fire, but on my second go around I got into this surreal sense of protectiveness of my 'nest'. Found my self warped into the mind of the mother while i repeatedly cleaned the garbage away from my pristine tree over and over. The controls were a little hard to get used to, and it took me a little while to work out that i could grab the fruit. This is a really nice concept though, and i really enjoyed myself. Awesome job
Thanks for your nice feedbacks! I am glad that you find the vibes I wanted to project. A small natural environment that you must care about. And keep it alive in the roughness of the city. I am too tired to test other games today (the jam was intense) but I will do it as soon as possible :)
I like the theme, and the cute birdies. Controls are a bit stiff. Other than that good work!
I rate this one highly, presentation is pretty good and satisfying, I laughed my rear off, figuring out you could make the humans disappear in the sewers the first time haha. Very nice work!
This game is really good and intuitive! Stylized and pixelized and the audio fits the overall feel of the game perfectly. I would speed up the flying movement a bit and perhaps introduce the elements one by one, but other than that it's a very nice entry!
@moolamu : Thanks for your feedback. I have changed the way to fly. Now it will be less stiff (I hope). @hiimbarney : Thanks a lot :) I'm glad you found this event with the human. I add one new event in the game. @sprotex : Thanks too :) I have changed a bit the controls. Now when you go down, the bird will increase his speed.
There would be more enhancementn to do, but for now I will leave it like this. I will only work again on it if there's a big bug :)
Really nice take on the theme! It is sad but unfortunatelly true, that sometime the nature have to take care of its own as people don´t do much. I wanted to keep it alive as long as I could however at some point my bird just refuses to fly and I can´t do much. And I just couldn´t figure out if this is a bug or I am doing something wrong. Despite that this is really nice entry! Great job. Btw the animations of picking/droping stuff are really awesome. As well as the human smoking. Really nice little details!
So I loved your game - This was actually one of the ideas that my friend and I had for LD46 lol. Put a lot of time into it - that is how much I liked it! Sadly, I could not beat the game due to bugs. The game is either buggy, or not enough notification goes into it to know weather something is a bug or a feature. At first, when I got a plastic bag out of the tree, I'm GUESSING that some bags are so heavy that if you hit the ground, that is game over - you won't be able to go back up - I have found that going into the purple pipe and waiting for the purple to go away does let me fly again (sometimes). I have also found that the bird sometimes just gets stuck on the ground for the rest of the game and won't let me fly again. I would strongly consider (if this is a feature) to remove the non-flying thing all together. If it is a bug, then please fix the bug - I'd like to win your game! Overall, excellent game - love the idea, and love the though and effort that you put into it!
Thanks for your feedback, @jin9310 and @zypo . The bird stuck on the ground was a very bad bug! Normally it's fixed. Zypo, if you test the game again, can you tell me if the bug is not there anymore? Today I made a better congratulation screen :)
Very nice entry. I was able to beat the game after 2 fails. I was a bit confuse at first about what I needed to do but each of my deaths led me to understand the mechanics a bit better. I enjoyed the art and the music but also the gameplay. Good one!
So cute, and so polished! There is so much details, so much things we have to do, or can do, it was a good surprise while I was just expecting to feed some little birds  Good job, this was fun to play.
Very cool idea. Relevant. Good concept. atmospheric. Nice graphics
Unexpected take on the theme, yet kind of obvious in hindsight. I really like the animations and the graphical style, even if it is a bit uneven in places, mushy as well. A fullscreen mode would fix the latter.
About the only issue I found (in this version where a whole lot of bugs have already been fixed, apparently) is that picking up the fruit of the tree is only possible with the *down arrow* and not with *S* for some reason.
I think selfishly stuffing the mother bird full of bread should also trigger a bad ending. That *pick up and eat* animation combo is just so good, though.
Excellent work!
Great game! There was a lot of details and little mechanics to explore. The art was nice and fit the theme you wanted to present very well. Of course, it was kinda depressing but with a little glimpse of hope at least :) The controls worked great and due to the automatic nature of the item drops, everything felt very responsive. The sound cues were also spot on, very well designed. The only thing I had problem with, was how you picked up the ornages. I saw the "arrow down" symbol, but I guessed that "S" would be fine as well, since the game can be controlled with both directional keys as well as WASD. But in this special case, only the actual down key worked. I almost lost the game due to that. The birds were already crying in hunger pain until I used the directional key out of sheer desperation and it worked.
Great job nontheless :)
@duke and @huvaakoodia, thanks for your feedback. Yes I simply forgot the S Key to take the fruits. I made an update :)
Really fun and a very polished experience! I liked all the events happening around (although I had some trouble picking up a lit cigarette from the ground once) and how the tree changed its look. Music was very nice and set the mood. Graphics were nice to look at as well!
I managed to overfeed my birds to death once
Great game. Controls are very fluid and comfortable. Gameplay loop is really well done, I have lost track of time playing it.
Music and sound effects are great additions to how the game feels.
At my first play-through I wasn't sure what to do and I overfed the chicks - great addition, but I didn't know that they were full :)
Thanks! Cheers!
Hi, good game! I really enjoyed playing it. One of better submissions in jam!
Really impresive game ! I enjoy the message about environnement that you propose :).
I fed the birds until they flew on my third try :D :D :D Really like how everything comes together. Especially how many little details there are about each gameplay object in the game!
The game was fun, but it got more boring towards the end when you just had to wait and feed the chicks. I really liked the audio and the music. The movement and mechanics felt nice and good. A really good submission!
I like this visual style very much, the bird hero's sprites in particular were charming. It's solid all over, but difficult, though that's understandable given the time crunch, not everything can be perfectly balanced. There's nothing I don't like about it!
Really nice ideas here! I was quite surprised that I could lose by overfeeding the birds!
Haha! I really liked this game! I would love is this became a full game! :D
The game was very fun and intuitive! The graphics looked nice, and the audio was soothing. Over all very fun and relaxing game. Awesome game ,and keep it up!
Really cute, well done. And I've never played a game where putting trash into a bin felt so satisfying. :D I like the many little challenges you added to the game, none of which feels too hard or unfair. My only nitpick would be that there could be more player feedback. E.g. I kept losing because I overfed my birdies without really knowing when that would happen. The falling apples created some tension and made me pick them before they fell down, just couldn't resist... so that way I killed my family twice. D: Also, the car smoke stuff - it seemed like flying through it made it fade away, but I wasn't really sure if that was actually the case and what effect it would have otherwise. I assume I did the right thing there, but the game left me guessing a bit.
Otherwise great job, a very likeable little game!
As someone who does birding, this was a very touching experience! Very cute but also very sad at the same time. The art style plus the music generates both feelings of relaxation and sadness. Well done!
Oh my gosh, some inconsiderate person came along and set my babies alight D:< I was quite upset I couldn't seem to rescue them form the fire :c
I like the message of this game in that actions affect others. There were so many plastic bags to pick up compared to food! Controls seemed to work pretty well but I coudln't always tell which things I could and couldn't pick up as they blended quite well into the environment. Really thoughtful entry!
