Fun and surprisingly quite challenging. Really nice concept that fits with the theme very nice! Great job

Fun and surprisingly quite challenging. Really nice concept that fits with the theme very nice! Great job
Really nice mechanics that works perfectly with the theme, Had a lots of fun and the level design is handled really well. Good job!
Really nice and clever! Great job. I really enjoy those kinds of puzzles. Thank you for this experience
Brings back memories from my younger days! Really nice entry and the sounds are just awesome and creates perfect mood! REally grat job guys!
Oh my god! This is soooo good :) As we made our game fully with PICO-8 palette I can say that this palette is awesome for any genre. Your concept and idea are really fun to play and for just hang out and chill around. Great job!
Little hard-core-ish bet very enjoyable! Love the music, it gives the game that feeling that you need to rush it to the end. Nice entry!
Nice and fun game to play and veeery addictive :) First I thought that I am winning by hitting the chicken, then I realised that the point is someplace else :) Definitely well handled piece just the theme is perhaps bit lacking in my opinion. Apart from that very nice entry! Good job guys!
Very nice entry. First I bit struggled with the movement and to coordinate in space, but it didn't take long and I was able to kill some alien-trash from space! :D The hook is very nice feature. Glad to see some FPS around. Great job!
Ok, I don't know what you keep in your butt folder and why is it in the same folder as work, and I don't want to know! But I am perfectly fine to sort that for you as well as the rest of the things and I just wanted to tell you, that the idea is not only silly but also brilliant and very well executed! Had a great time. Thanks a good job!
One of those games where just one or two tries are just not enough! Excelent job. You have diverted from the theme a little, but you already know that, and if you have learned to implement something new and what you wanted, I believe that the jam did a good job as well. You did really great job!
Interesting idea how to innovate tetris. Can be very addictive and I really like that you add some restrictions to the shooting, because they can get you, them blocks! :) Good job
This is one of that times that I do not really enjoy the grinding. Don't get me wrong, I mean this in the good way! I really like your game and I would say that it is a pretty nice mirror towards today's world. I would love to see some content for players that decide not to build actually :) Because when I played this for a second time, I didn't want to build a thing. Great job! Love the art, love the sounds.
This was really refreshing and nice. It can get pretty stress full, but hey! horde of zombies is going towards you, there is a time for panic! :) Love it. You could perhaps work on the tutorial/main story a little as it is quite long and I didn't find out how to fasten the text being displayed. But that is just a minor thing. Really great job, had a lot of fun with it.
Overall very good entry! Although it is very obvious where you put the theme into your game, I would love to see the theme as a main objective. The delivery is still bit higher. But hey! That is just me and it doesn't mean that I didn't love your piece and din't try to reach the high scores :) It is very catchy and you did really Great job!!
This is interesting. I need to give it a one more try with mouse since touchpad doesn't seem to be fast enough :) It was big deal of fun though! I wonder, why everyone catches on fire once I press 'space'? :) Solid Entry, good job! ;)
Really original. I don't really know what else should I say, because I haven't seen anything like that :) Really nice work and idea around this theme.
I finished it! :) And it is really solid entry with good use of the theme. Good job ;)
cool Idea and that is pretty nice handled. Good job! ;)
What the hell was this?! :-D Cool entry, my morning is full of laughter thanks to this :) Great job
Clean and simply. It would be great to have some diversity and perhaps the theme could get bit more 'space' :) since you will die instantly once hit, but give it a time you spent on this, it is pretty amazing! Nice job
Really solid entry and overall very well handled, but I didn't really get the fit of the theme here. Despite that it is a nice little game and the palette swap is a very nice touch. Good job.
This was fun! Really made my day and I have to say, perfect job! The mood is really nice and the music gives it nice and relaxed vibe.
Very interesting entry and good work on the theme. I would personally make it bit more intuitive as now it is bit complicated. Nevertheless great job on your entry!
Pretty clever idea! Really nice job, typing mechanics always gets me :)
This is very solid entry. The controls are totally fine and I like that you can color your centifeed :) Would be cool if the mushrooms could give you some effects based on their color, but still it is quite catchy to try to reach for the high scores! Good job
Really cool game and nice use of the theme. First I thought that I have things well in my hands but it got away pretty soon :) I can feel the adrenalin pumping in my vains, I don't want to loose them all :)
Really nice and stylish entry! It is quite hard to master, but the fun is neverending. Great Job!
Awesome. Had a lot of fun with your entry. Old retro style is just amazing! Really nice job!
The things have moved in unexpected way! I am so glad I was able to come across your entry. For me by far the best game so far! The atmosphere is amazing from the very beginning and the sound plays great part in it. The story that happened here and we witness can be very familiar and you did very good job! Well executed! (no pun intended) ;)
This is very nice and simple entry. I think that your attempt to do the Atari vibe is very good, the only thing I was missing perhaps, is some final score show-down after you fail. Because sometime I wasn't able to track what was my high score. It is fine to push it towards the theme, and you do that great, but since there is a score I think, it would be nice to track it. Here is my TOP so far :) Great job! high_score.png
Really glad to see turned-based entry with this theme! Love it. It would need some tweaks as already mentioned but you did a really great job, considering what you were able to fit in. Congrats, really nice job!
Thank you very much for playing our game guys! We really do appreciate your feedback! And we hope it will help us in the future. Few days back we have released first update, that fixes the jumping on the platforms and some other minor issues. @jushiip @storm626 @pedroaz @senokos @mosaic @qkerguelen @hygon @powlow-paolo @tgb20 @digitaldude555 @mattincho @lou-bagel @maytch @dankar @jsmcag @kpded @alien @nathanhoad @lsd @meatpudding @prema @rebecca-kremer @raccoon-js @prema @mza @darylsteak @manusaiz @skyc @tymus @anubhav-kashyap @flaterectomy @bichodust
@rafael-endo @blinry @demn - attacking is not bit redundant :D and you can very easily finish the game without it. 8-bit-ish sounds were intended, as few other things (attack) we didn't make it work on time
@superpokeunicorn you are definitely true that we have missed few things here and there. The thing is that we had to cut-off some things in order to finish the game :)
@jonasz999 @romanchesco we are so glad that you had good experience with our instructions. This was one of our goals actually, to show all of this to player intuitively, so he will be able to play the game without reading any description before :)
@antti-haavikko thank you for great feedback tips! And yes, your nose was right about the smell :D
@noxbuds Where would you prefer the game screen to be positioned? We would love to hear really every feedback so we can try to work on that to our future projects. Anyway thanks a lot for your feedback!
@honey the falling was definitely not intended and we have just fixed that recently. There was a workaround in witch you had to be constantly jumping in order to move forward. Sorry for that. But we are really glad that apart from that, your heart was pleased! :)
@notbadgun Thanks I guess :)
Love the art you did here, also this is really funny. Love it! The overall mood you made here is amazing! Great job
You used the theme very well, really nice entry, good job
This is very nice and can be very addictive. At least I wanted to get higher and higher! Great work!
Really nice entry, bit depressive and dark, but surely daily users of subway can relate to that pretty easily. Good job. Art is amazing!
I wanted to try bitsy myself and it is good to see what can be done with it. You did very nice job! It is little, it is cute, and it is fun! Good job
I really like that you have an intention to continue with this project and that you have already some ideas lined up. I like them a lot and will definitely want to see the result. I really like your art and the concept of your entry! Great job man! Now tell me, where do I subscribe? :-D
Quite fun concept you got there. First I didn't know what is happening, but the send try was way better. I would prefer if the threat level is higher since I wasn't really afraid that I can loose. But overall very nice idea that fits very well with the theme. Nice job!
This was quite a challenge to beat. On one hand it is a nice touch that you can adjust the controls, but it don't really help to get better, even with your favorite platforming settings. The wall jumps were a pain for me, but accept your mechanic and had to deal with it, and I did, it just took bit more time. Overall you did very nice job, the animations and art in general are great! And music is also very suitable and helps to build the mood. Great job guys!
Really nice entry! Great job! Love the art!
Nice Entry, truth is that I had to switch to desktop version, but I think you did good job! Nice idea and use of the theme
Really sweet little thing. Love the minimalistic approach and overall this comes off very well. Great job!
Unfortunately I didn't really feel that I am running out of space, but this is a very solid entry and I had really fun time with your game. Do they really say "leave me alone" ? :-D Great job!
Feeling the good old Win95 vibes, reminded me a million floppy discs I still have back home with Win95 instalation :) Nice entry! Good job.
Nice entry, and I really like the feel that you are inside the old Windows machine :) I only wish that this would the actual way, how anti-viruses work! :) good job!
Love the pixel-art, really great job! Although it is bit hard, once you get hit by a car :) But still very nice mood (even without sound;))
Really nice entry. Love the idea of CRT display. I consider myself as fan of those types of games, but this was a hard one. Had a tons of fun though! Art is nice and suits very well the overall mood and style. Good job!
What an innovative way to create a game. The sounds and art are really awesome! Great job! Really original.
Really cool concept! And yeah, you got me on the last one! :D (took me a while). Great job. Fantastic art.
Really nice idea. I saved them all :) The art stile is very nice and I would love to see some more. The sound/music would be a great addition (but honestly I can live without it). Overall great job!
I just love those typing games, and your approach is very well handled and combined with the theme! Great job. Had a lot of fun!
Overall this is very nice and solid entry. Unfortunately after a while it gets repetitive and nothing really pushes me to try to get more points, but the animations are amazing and really lovely! It is very well handled and all works as it should (at least from my point of view :)) Great Job!
Oh Boy! I want moooore! :) It is so catchy, really nice entry and the combination of the theme and sort of tetris is really sweet. Great Job!
Since I really liked your game I will start with "negatives". I would definitely change the in-game font (right after the beginning), I was able to read it and it looks really cool, but I had to really focus. Also it can be bit confusing at the start even after reading all the notes from description. But! I was able to get into it pretty fast and had a great time. The art is amazing and the sounds/music fit very well to the mood of your entry! Great Job!
Guys amazing job! The Art and the music are just awesome and the vibe of arcanoid-like game is super cool. It took me a while to be bit better at it, but after a while I managed to rescue quite a lot of spaceman! :) Really nice entry where everything together works very well. Hey! And I dig the backstory! :) Great job!
Wow I didn't really expect that I will have the opportunity to try pottery during this jam :) What a nice surprise and nice entry. Very cute graphics and overall mood along with really well handled pottery-mechanic. Even the painting feels really good and everything is nice and easy to control. Really nice entry!
Although I don't see the theme in it much this is a really great idea and I enjoyed it so much! Really fun and clever. Also the opening scene is really nice touch and it all makes quite complex experience. Great job! Really great
Hey! We also have a Bob! :D Truth is, it is very different Bob, but your Bob is really great! It is quite impressive how much you were able to include in your game and to be honest I always wanted to try to play as some evilish (but not necessarily) AI. Really nice experience and I had to experiment with those answers few times and it really got me! Nice job!
I am so glad I could play this! The inspiration is obvious but you made this good enough, so it can stand out alone. The atmosphere is well build and I would personally cut-out all the visuals and keep it voice/sounds-text only. But on the other hand your art served well to its purpose. REally enjoyed it and would recommend that to others, because it is really worth it! Great job!
Impressive idea, at the begining it all seems to be bit too much (so much colors and so much info that you will not be able to absorb it during the first run), but the gameplay feels very natural and overall good handled. It is really nice idea how to approach the theme. Some frenetic music in the background would perhaps build up the atmosphere better, but I mean... Really great job!
Oh yes! This is amazing idea and had so much fun! Great job!
Really nice entry, had a blast with it. This is a great use of the theme along with fine peaceful atmosphere! Great job! victory.png
Simple and amazing. Could be sailing there for a long time. It is great to see that you have involved even the non violent mode! Great stuff!
I have played quite a few games around here and this is most innovative approach I have seen so far! Really great execution of fantastic idea. I was able to get to 7th place, but I am sure I´ll try some more later on. It is quite challenging and sometimes it seems that the platforms can be generated in a way you that you can barely reach them. But overall this is really nice entry! Thanks a lot for this game!
The sound of whistle and breakup are brilliant and just the way I would imagine. Love the approach to the theme, also nice puzzle. ;)
@siryakko @nekorio @giezi @enichols @oddsocks @artyom-volkov @maakole Thank you all for your feedback and such a nice words! We are really glad that you liked our little game.
Also to mention, special thanks needs to go to my wife, that helped us with all the sounds a lot! :) Actually to both of our wifes, as they were super supportive and supplied us with food, drinks and patience!
@secretpocketcat Thanks a lot for kind words and Your feedback!
It is truth that the sound balance is far from perfect, and we know that. We are sound-rookies, but we'll get there one day ;) And to Your final note I can only say that we have planned more, but had to cross some mechanisms as the time wouldn't allow us to finish it in time. Among those were actually the ones you mention, that is why we designed the NPCs the way they are. We also had to cross COMBOS from the list and even few animations and sprites that were already done. But it's a JAM and that time window can't be prolonged, so we had to CUT in order to deliver. I hope that we'll have the energy and motivation to continue in this and perhaps one day, share bit better and more balanced game, we have that on paper already ;)
There were few funky moments with collisions and the calm music in the background isn't really fitting what is happening on the screen :) But that is hardly an issue. Overall solid entry with enjoyable violence. Good job!
This is very nice idea, love the 'weirdness' but only in the best way possible! :) Nice use of the theme, sometimes I was not sure if I am hitting the veggies or not. But I love it all around and the jokes are really nice touch! Great job
It is nice to see different approaches to this theme and the creation of the games. This is really great entry! Good job
As much as the drinking the blood from the babies is not really my thing, Pucamuc is really nice overall! Feel very clean and polished, the mechanics works really well and the combination with theme is also very well handled! Great platformer you did here! Nice job
I am not a good 'typper' but yet I love typing games! And this is no exception. Great stuff you got there, nice art, nice use of theme. Thanks ! :)
Was getting bit worried as the begining was easy, fortunately you are building up the difficulty nicely and overall it fees as a very nice puzzle! Not sure if it is just the web version, but in some levels I was able to hear some sound but in most of them none. It would be great to have some ambient sound on the background. Last part I need to mention is the graphics! And there is actually nothing to say :D as you simply nailed it! The art style and animations are awesome. Great job!
Really nice thing. Had to stop after 22nd wave... as I´m used to get stuck with this kind of a game :) It would be great if you could visualy display the upgrades of the towers. But it is hardly a complaint as I loved it really much! Great job and try to play and rate some other games as well to get more reviews! Your entry is totally worth trying
So I bankrupt :-D And then again.... It might be a really nice mirror to all of those that are participating in the indie/game dev industry (but not only there). You have used the theme nicely and in an original way. It would be great if you could manage to implement some music/sounds/effects. Overall nice entry.
This is addictive as hell! First I was bit confused with the controls but it is such a great idea which fits soo well! Great job you guys! Now, let's master this!
Great entry! Really like this kind of stuff that makes you want to go back and try to beat the game one more time. Theme is well implemented and I still wonder if anyone has been able to kill the boss with that one shot upgrade. I certainly tried but it seems I am not the lucky one :D Great job!
I think that on one hand you have approached the theme well, but on other hand you should focus more on the game mechanisms. Most important think is that you were able to finish it, as every experience counts! Good job !
The ageing thing of the main character is really cool.
It is hard, but it is beatifull... Really nice art you did here. Would be great to have some sounds, but overall really nice Entry. Good Job!
This is very catchy. Love the concept and it fits with the theme very well! Also the music is so amazing! Really great job. Will have to come back to this as it is quite hard :)
This was the first game I have seen around here and really wanted to try! It was worth it. Really nice execution (no pun intended) :)
Great job! And you were able to pull this off just during 24hrs? Impressive. Truth is that the sounds would be a great touch, but given the timeframe I completely understand. But you were able to put in the theme, challenge and replayability. Great Job!
This is really amazing what you were able to create during such short period of time. It feels really complex and well polished! Not to mention great idea. One of best submissions I have so far seen and will definitely get back to this again! Thanks a lot for such nice entry, Great Job!
Cool scream! :D Overall very nice shooter mixed well with the theme. Now, give me more! Good job
Little troubles with the dialogs but I really like the movement idea as well as how cute this is! Awesome job, had a blast!
This is a very nice and interesting entry. Would be great to have some sounds, but appart from that I really liked that! Overall very well handled card-turned-based mechanisms. Thanks for great experience!
As I enjoy Tetris quite a lot I was really looking forward for this. And I must say that you did a very good job innovating it and combining with new interesting mechanics (as well as with the theme). Really nice job done! And great audio! Thank you for this experience
I love the post-apocalyptic things since Fallout and this is a real nice and solid entry. Combines the theme quite well and overall, very nice experience. Thanks for that ;)
Robot toaster animation is just great! And also the whole idea is really cool... I mean how could we live without robot toaster anyway? :) Great job
Really cool concept and given the time you have had, pretty impressive what you have achieved here! Great job and also nice little addiction you have got me :) thanks
The atmosphere you were able to create with the scene and sound is just amazing! Would love to see some more as I think that you have set a very nice core/base for more content. Great Job guys! Liked it a lot
So far the nicest think I have came across. Simple and clean, along with fitting theme and sounds. Really awesome experience! Thank you for that
Took me a few moments to get those controls into my hand, but it worked out well. Really nice idea how to implement theme and turn it into an original idea. Great job! Feels really good and refreshing, also can create quite stressful moments while low with your life :)
Great art and sounds! Love it! The movement was sometimes bit tricky and I didn't quite see the theme. But overall great idea for a puzzle with nice time pressure (moving captain) Would love to see some more :) Good job!
Really nice graphics and the scene! Also the music creates really fitting atmosphere. The only thing is that the enemies are covered behind the main pillar. I mean it is not an issue, but it would be great to have perhaps a transparency or something there.
Overall great job!! Would definitely like to see some more content
Really nice entry! Love all the small talks and jokes. All the little details (like fish in the pond?) and especially the audio that made me wondering all the time what will happen next and it really helped the atmosphere a lot! Great job!! ;)
I really like the stylization you have made. The controls are bit hard to master since you need to be constantly in movement and also try to shoot the following enemies, but I played along and it is actually quite interesting approach, hardly a complaint! Overall really enjoyable entry. Great job!
Love how you have approached the art style! Amazing
I really like how you handled the tutorial page and overall the idea is really nice. You have implemented the theme very well! If I could change something I would rather focus more on the design of smaller level instead of larger maze (where you can gate lost - which slows down the pace of the whole game). Also some background music would be a nice touch. But overall this is nice entry! Thank you, great job!
Truly nice idea and combination with the theme! Also I find the message behind as a big true nowadays and for younger generations it might be even bigger truth than we can imagine! Great job!! Love it
This was a very nice experience thank you for that. Would be great to have some sounds to build up the atmosphere even more! Beautiful Art! Great Job!
Great job! Will make you think of your day-to-day life and fits with theme perfectly. Also the graphics and sound effects are just fitting! Although small, feels really complex and simply well done.
This is great!! Love it all the way! It is super simple and super catchy! Hands down this is the best I have seen so far. Also the art is great! Really thanks for such experience
Really nice idea, kinda like a frogger but backwards ! :) I have also seen your feed during th jam and those bugs were so funny! Can imagine some additional care, but overall Great job!
Really nice entry. To be honest! It is hilarious from the title of your game till the very end. Love the final animation!! Great job!
Like it a lot and that message/swiping management is really nice idea. Also I love how you approached the theme! Great job you guys!
Nice to see what you were able to pull off with your game. Nice combined with the theme and the graphics are also very nice. Great job! This is exactly the think I want to get back to :)
What an Idea! Amazing approach to the theme! There are no other words that would describe this better > Well Done!
So far the best thing I have seen around! Hands down this is truly nice concept and the idea how to approach the theme. Brilliant. Defo staying on my list and will want to come back to this in my free time :) Great thing to start my day with! Thank you so much for this! Great job
Thank you so much for doing this entry! Really brilliant idea, yet feels so simple and well executed. Even after I finished the game, I have the sound console still on, playing around with sounds. Great job!
Although bit repetitive, very atmospheric! Really nice job on this, the mood is really nice. Would love to see some different 'arenas' but given the timeframe you had, this is really solid. Great job and thank you for this experience!
In the terms of rating I am unsure how to vote for Graphics and Audio while you claim it is from opengameart.org . Anyway this looks really nice, I would consider bit more polishing in the terms of controls. But other than that, this is nice, calm and pleasant little entry. Good job
Wow! What an amazing idea and quite a puzzle! Really amazing take on the theme and such an innovative way of a puzzle game! Love every piece of it. Great job and thank you for such experience!
Really amazing entry, that makes one to come back and try it again and better! Also wondering how this would go against a real opponent. Great Job! Thank you for this experience
Ended up with a Godlike state of mind, but will try to achieve nirvana later today :) Really nice idea and calm-like atmosphere. The contrast of slow 'breathing' and fast pace shooting is great. Just one question, is that a cucumber you need to shoot down? :D Great Job! Definitely one of the entries worth spending more time with.
Overall very nice entry. The execution feels really polished and well handled. Art and the mood in general works really nice! Since for the previous Ludum DAre we did a game about Bob as well (although not related with this Bob, nor Bob the Builder :)) this was a must for me to play and I am very glad I did. Great job!
@shelldragon Thank you for playing
@appoxgames Originally we wanted just to pile on the new lands(tiles), but since we have a 'Start with nothing' theme we have decided to change that and that is why you have to start over again ;) Thank you for kind words and your time playing our entry
@human-writes-code You are correct about the issue with placing the objects on top of each other, unfortunately we didn't manage to fix that, so this can happen :) Really glad you enjoyed it though! Thank you!
@laurens Thanks!
@jiri-hysek The last tile had to be removed in the last hour since we were not able to implement the last feature. Sorry about the confusion, so I can confirm, you have unlocked everything! :)
@kornel Thank you for your time playing! Loosing the island is the feature bound to the theme 'Start With Nothing' however I mentioned above, the original idea was different :) The sound contains just 3 tracks, and the truth is that the time pressure did not allow us to add more, perhaps with some future updates ;)
@mateusz-wojtkowski Whoa, thanks for sharing the screenshot! I am really glad that our game was able to start your day in a good way! And the last tile is just a blank fill of a feature we were not able to implement at the very end. Thank you for your time!
@jan5366x @redxet @treasonousflock @hydrate @lonewolfdev Thank you so much for stopping by and playing our game, we will make sure to return the favor! ;)
@adngdb Thank you for screenshot and feedback! Unfortunatelly yes, you'll have to start again, if you have reached the last island and want to build on different one. It works only one way and the one you have on your screenshot is the last one. But this is actually really good idea we haven't thought about. Putting it on list to some future updates! Thank you so much!
@zanzavar Thank you for kind feedback, glad you enjoyed the game
@radonraph Thank you for playing our game, I tried Yours and it is really very similar :) Good job. Also as mentined above, as we wanted to respect the theme 'You start with nothing' we implemented that each new land will erase everything ;)
@furano Thanks! ;)
@derek-volker Thank you so much for sharing your island and Your feedback! You are totally right about the music, we really struggled with the time at the end so we managed to fit in only 3 loops. Well till next time ;)
@skyeward Thank you for stopping by and sharing Your feedback! Much appreciated
@designernap Thank you so much for your screenshot and feedback. I am really glad to hear that this little thing can be enjoyable! Thank You for Your time!
@eryph There are many bugs and put stuff in the middle of the sea is unfortunately one of them :) We will work that sound next time. Thank you so much for the feedback! ;)
@louis-denizet I am so sorry, I will put that in the description at least, because you did not miss anything, it is just that we have prepared one more feature, that did not make it to the release, so we 'locked' the last tile. There is really no way you can open this one. And thank you so much for Feedback! Glad you enjoyed our little thing
@cpokered yep, we know, there are bugs on our island ;) Cheers
@burczy Thank you for the feedback!
@freypodgames @miu Thank you for sharing the screenshots, looking real good!
@koemeterion Thank you for playing mate, truth is that we could have done bit better job with many areas and the font size is defo one of them. Glad you had some fun though ;)
@mathemagician Really glad to here that you enjoyed the creative process. Thank you for the feedback and time with Our Game ;)
@pestodesign Yeah, sorry about that, unfortunately we haven't really put much thoughts to the ending, also the time management was bit underestimated this time :) Thank you for playing and the feedback! Cheers
@yaroslav-kravtsov First of all, really impressive how far you made it just with the flowers :) and yeah we notice that function of RMB is not that obvious for some players as we thought would be :P Anyway thanks for playing and your feedback
@bocodillo you are right that the money optimization is not our strong side, we made either very hard or pretty easy coin models, so we stick with the easy option at the end since we didn't want this to became such a pain to get more coins. Well lesson learned, more planning upfront next time ;) Thank for feedback, much appreciated!
@redwiliax @almighty-games @smbe19 @falu Thank you so much for playing and the feedback!
@m-dam Thank you for the feedback and Your time spend with our game. I mentioned that in the comments already, the decision of the reset the progress with each new tile was based on the theme ;)
@anticdope Thank you so much for the feedback!
@matt-rix thanks for the feedback! Have to agree with you that both things you mention could have been more intuitive. If we decide for an update, those will be among first things we'll do.
@moechen Thank you so much! Glad that even those little things are notice-able :)
@euler-moises Wow thank you so much for such amazing feedback! The truth is that sounds/music in general are a huge pain for us, and to be honest we struggle with that every time, and this time we were really under time pressure, hence I totally agree with all your points. We really want to change that to the future, because we know that sounds especially can do a huge favor to any gamedev project. Thank you once again!
@le-don @recursor @bilalch213 Thank you so much for spending a time with our game and leaving the feedback!
As much as I really like the ability to finish with nothing, it would be a real shame not to try collect very first eye and see really nice art style! The atmosphere, the art, amazing and beautiful! Thank you for this experience.
This was soo relaxing, I could be clicking all day long :) Really nice playground You were able to create. Great Job!
This is amazing! nothing more, nothing less! Amazing. Thank you real_time_gardener.png
I have to send this to my father, as he just bought him self a chickens this summer and he is finally having some eggs as well :D Really shame you were not able to include any sounds to support the mood, but I get that. There is not much time during the jam and you still did really great job! It is a funny little thing with original approach to the theme! Good job
Really nice mood you were able to set up along with nice apo scene. Really good job on your entry, nice to see such games. Thanks for this!
I really like the art style and can imagine that with more time this could be really fun little thing. Good job and keep it up ;)
This was really nice! Truth is that the movement could be bit more polished otherwise it is quite a challenge, but that also might be the intention. Other that that this was really great entry and I love the idea of the sling along with the beginning (without limbos - that really made me laugh :)) Great Job! REally nice work
This was a real fun and really hard to get away from :) Great job!
I wish I could fly more :) Overall very solid entry and interesting idea. Well done to your first LD ;)
It is not easy to create a working and balanced idle clicker and You did a really nice job here! I must say that I am little disappointed that 'Odd Socks' were not the ultimate top that can be purchased :P But let's get serious, I really like the sock theme! Your socks, rocks! Cheers mate
I really like the idea (with a little vibe of ghostbusters) and wouldn't be afraid of adding some visual effect of that vacuuming :) Overall very solid and nice entry. Good job1 I didn't get far, but the message from your changelog is also impressive :-D 'Fixed the dungeon crashing at the 86th floor' . Thanks for this experience
Truth is that the movement is bit tricky, but from my point of view, I like a challenge. So I took that as it is and really enjoyed Your entry. The idea is really amazing, and it constantly keeps you wanting to get more scripts. Thank you for this nice experience. Great job!
In the description you claim to be proud of your creation, and You should be! The hunger part is a real challenge and i love it! Really nice job you did! Well done
Very solid entry, and really good job done given the timeframe you had to finish this in. Was missing some sounds or at least background soundtrack, it might give it even better vibe. Love the ART! Really great job!
I am truly surprised how this got me. As you mentioned it is a short survival game, but it got me in and I wasn't able to stop till I created the raft and left the Island! Really great work! I can see this easily to turn into something bigger. Thank you for this nice experience. Island_survivor.png
First of all, congrats to your first LD game! Consider publishing your first game big success despite the ratings, for me this is the main idea of LD. To get in and finish something ;) The game itself works with interesting concept and original way how to approach the theme and the puzzle genre. I really like that, truth is that there are some things that would be great to have in-game but, this is a game jam and this is totally solid for an entry. Great job and keep up the passion to make games! ;)
Many things have been already written in the comments, but overall congratz on your entry. With bit more time I believe you would be able to present very interesting game, as you have very solid base and quite impressive crafting system! I really liked the music that fits the mood. Good job
I wasn't able to win yet, but this is really original and nice take on the theme! Really nice job done! Amazing idea :) Thanks for this experience
This was really calm and interesting. Would love to discover more, however really nice take on the theme and the mood! Great job
Truly amazing what you were able to pull off during such a short time frame! Feels so polished and well executed! One of the best entries I have came across, Thanks a lot for this amazing experience!
Really amazing how You were able to create such intense experience. The combination of sounds, music, art and the main mechanic works great. Really great entry! Thank you for this!
I could play this for sooo long :) Great job! Bit sad it is not longer, but given the time you had. Amazing entry! Thanks a lot
Got the feeling that I should be the one from the cubicals, but not really sure :) Hope there will be some explanation/devlog from your side at the end. Would be really much interested in that! Good job
Just awesome take on the theme! Love all of it, really great stuff! Thank you
What a cool idea, I really enjoy the reverse kind of zombie games, where you are actually on the zombie side. Also quite nice, that you have introduced sort of new kind of zombies that are only spitting, and that supports really well your core mechanic. Felt really fresh and new (eventhough we are still talking about zombies :)). Personally the first level was really great to learn how the stuff works, but next 2 levels were bit slow, since you can´t really control the lenght of your spit, and some of the not-infected people/pigs were quite hard to reach from time to time, and I just had to wait. Also at this point I realized that the tunes were quite repetitive. Don´t get me wrong, I loved it, it is just that this part of the game was bit slower and it got me focused on other stuff, rather than just on the gameplay. But this can be hardly a complaint, since the last levels were really well handled! Great job on your game, also great and unique art style! Thank you for this experience, this definitelly goes to the best I have played so far.
What an amazing idea! Great stuff!
Oh this was fun!! The truth is that sound and music are quite missing (as you mention), and that might make this even better, because apart from that, this is so amazing idea! At first I was sceptical and not sure if the tower can be damaged at all, then I lost king, W and suddenly I had no words on my tower! :) I find it hillarious but unfortunatelly I did not make it to the boss as I gut stuck under some hill I wasn´t able to climb. But the variety and the number of enemies you were able to put in, in such a short time frame is quite impressive. Art is alse very nice to watch. Great job! Thank you for the game! finale.png
ok this idea is gold! :D I have seen your progress during the weekend already and I knew this is something I want to see! And the result is really great! Good job
Really cool take on the theme and I really love how you approached the visuals. Really fresh. I like it a lot. Thanks
Funny little puzzle with really nice art-style! It took me few attempts to figure out what and how should I solve this, but at the end I managed to get to the victory screen! Great job, really pleasant experience
Art, sound and content wise this is really amazing! It is impressive that you were able to implement even few quests! Only thing I would say against is that the theme is represented only by the health of main character. But this is hardly a complaint. Great job!
At first sight this looks simple, yet I couldn´t be more wrong, truly impressed with all the mechanics! Great job!
Did he just fart?! :D Your games never stop to impress me, really awesome entry! Sound, art and overall execution well handled and polished. First I was hoping I could get the water from ponds as well, but that would make it way easier. The important thing is, that I became pumpking! Great job, thank you for that.
Really neat little idea and new approach to the theme. The mood is really calm and relaxing and I had really nice time with your game. Although I would love to see bit few chalenging levels, but I can imagine how balancing this can be hard in such a short time of a game jam, so this is hardly a complaint. Overall very good job, I liked it a lot! Thank you
@colinbellino Awesome! I'll definitely stick around to see it! Good luck
Had a real blast with this game! Never thought haw hard it can be for a virus to spread especially with all the police and medics around... The eye opener was that I can infect policemen which game the game perspective completely new strategic element :) Really nice and addictive. Wasn´t able to get above 35% but will not stop trying :) Really well polished and overall executed, great job! Thank you for this
Love the idea, though I would love to see it bit less hardcore, since I was having really hard time to get thru the begining. Or maybe I am just not good at this :) Anyway really awesome entry! Good job
Unfortunatelly the game was crushing quite often, however I kept on trying :) The idea is very nice as well as the execution, however I would consider some balancing, since the ´infection´ can make it really hard to finish(or very close to impossible) if you are lucky enough to get combination of revert, no colors and slow walk (along with crash of the game, some may call it frustrating). But I am well aware that this is hard to tweak during the game jam. Overall this is great entry and in my eyes really good foundation for some post-jam game (and perhaps even some bigger game). I would definitely like to see more :) Thank you for the game!
Eventhough the scene tells something horrible might have just happened this was really calming and relaxing... didn´t catch a lot at first, but I got better with each attempt and got really good time :) Thanks!
I really love breakout and this is really nice idea ... it just sooo hard to get some proper progress :D Awesome entry! Very addictive. Thank you for that
This is really addictive and it keeps wanting you to try again and again. Great job on that. I would only like to see some tunes to the background, however this is really nice entry! Thanks
Really solid and nice entry you got there! The take on theme is well handled and I like how you used the life/ammo visualisation. From what I have read in the comments I wouldn´t be giving you any new advices, so I would just like to thank you, for this nice experience. Good job
This is fun! Really nice idea that completely fits the theme along with great execution! Thanks for such experience and congrats to really nice entry!
Eventhough there is not much of it, the art is really amazing! Along with the atmosphere and overall goal of the game, I was enjoying every piece of it and now I would love to have some more! Great job, this is going to my list of the bast entries of this LD. Thank you for such a lovely experience!
@slimbun I was (naive-ly) hopping no one will notice that :D But yes you are right, we had an intention to take care of that, unfortunally time flies by so fast! Thank you for playing
@adriankrawczyk @dreamerofdays @panzerr @maytch @guipererao @thaniel @oddsocks @batswinger @irene-godoy-del-pozo @conjurador @xedur @darkfire92 @fpixel - Thank you so much ya all for playing and leaving feedback!!
special thanks to @turncoda for very thorough feedback. You are certainly right in many points. to be honest I don´t think we have thought that the keys would have a corelation to the objects, but not that you are saying that, it might be actually a good think to do. The reason why we did´t think of corelation is mainly the fact, we wanted to give player a challenge and not to memorize stuff by heart. So there is a certain rondom-ness to that (however only bound to few keys, not the whole keyboard). Really thank you for amazing feedback!
@gablue Thank you so much for such feedback! Love it and have to agree on most of the things. Truth is that most of the stuff you mention was originally planned but we have decided to cut out, due to a lack of time. For example the speed up of the game was really intended, however the way things were already implemented we really struggled to manage the speed-up system, so after few hours we had to cut it, in order to finish the rest of the stuff. This decision did the game less challenging, but from our point of view it is really not good to get stuck a feature, if basic stuff is not implemented yet. Same goes with the music, there are actually 11 different music loops, but those are only being switched randomly and not in lets say more ´dynamic´ way, which again we wanted, but had to do at least just a basic stuff. I really love how you think about our game, and it is really awesome. I just hope that we will be wiser for the future and be able to learn from all of that and do better planning :) Thank you once again!
@random-thoughts thank you for playing! :)
Quite interesting approach to the theme however as already mentioned, might be bit dramatic for parents out there. I have ended in the piano scene, however it would be nice to have perhaps few different possibilities how to handle each scene. Your game is almost calling for some crazy solutions. Overall really nice entry, I had a fair share of laugh. Good job!
Really nice art and a mood. I am really curious about tablet option so I will give it a try later on. And I have to tell that I was´t able to stop playing, but this is my best attempt so far. Great job on the game! 13150.png
Truly amazing what you were able to create, have not tried the endless as I was really touched by the story version! Really great stuff, amazing art along with great music and sounds. Really nothing bad can be said from my point of view. A true highlight among the entries. Thank you for such experience, and great job done!
The art is really nice and it caught my eye during the weekend already. The game is overall very nice, and as sad in the comments already, easy on the begining hard at the end, which is the way how the game should generally work I guess but truth is that in a span of 5 waves total, this might be bit steep difficulty curve. However we all know that the time is very limiting factor during the creation and I think you did amazing job on this one! Thank you for that!
Great job on your game. I was bit confused with the puzzles, since once I entered the platform or hide in the bush, Zombie would still stick around and one I jumped down or un-hide he just ate me :D Or maybe I was doing something wrong. The meat throwing is very clever though as well as your take on the theme. Some music to the back ground would be great to build up the atmosphere. However overall good job!
Catchy and quite addictive little thing. The only thing I would consider changing is the ball behaviour, since I was able to stop the action, basically anytime with just jumping and hitting the ball straight up. And you can stay at that stay for as long as you keep pressing ´space´ bar :) . But this can be hardly a complaint, overall really solid entry. Great job!
On a technical level I am truly amazed what you have been able to achieve. There is no doubt that the quality is high! However I am bit missing the theme, as i wasn´t able to get to the ´fail state´ or to the keep it alive. Now that I am thinking of it, the dogs light is the one thing you need to keep alive? :) But this is hardly a complaint, because the atmosphere you were able to create is amazing! Great job. Thank you for this game
What an interesting idea to keep you signal alive :) Overall it felt quite hard to and I was figuring out the gameplay for a bit. Some tutorial might get handy. Great job! Thank you for this experience
Really nice pixel-art and the overall idea fits the there well. Foud it bit tricky to find a way how to avoid bullets in order to get further and the game is not forgiving that :) Can imagine that it would be great to have some checkpoints as going the whole thing from the very beginning again can be a pain for some players, but I like it, as it reminds me of old arcade machine games that were not forgiving as well and still wanted another coin from you. And that is the same with your game, I am willing to drop another coin into the machine in order to see the end. Good job!
Would love to see some indication that the tool I am using is working or on, because it takes some time to figure that out and get the hanfg of it. The sounds and music are really nice. Congrats to your entry! Good job
Omg this is so awesome! Love the art and sounds! Well, there is not much I can say I don´t like on your entry or at least I could complaint about. Really great work! Thank you for this, and now, I want some more.
Love the idea (along with art and music)! Now get me my cabbage! :)
What a calm and pleasant experience, really enjoyed it. Thank you and great job!
To be honest I wasn´t expecting this, what a cool take on the theme and the ide on that mechanic! Great job
I am soo glad I have came across this game. The music and the mood overall is just amazing with a 3 cute little puzzles. Got monument valley vibes. Overall very nice, great job!!
@abu-sabiq-mahdi it is indeed ;)
Game with this title just can not be bad! This is really awesome in fact. Amazing what you have created and I must confess that I got stuck in one level, but I hope/believe it was the last one! :D Nevertheless, great job! Love it
What a sweet and hillarious idea! Love it, great job mate!
Ok, at first I thought that this will be really hard to play, since the controls were really sensitive. But somehow after first 2 levels it felt actually good, as I was trying to go as carefully as possible and than figured, I need to go fast... in order to make it. The idea is amazing and the music makes the right tense, that was telling me go go go, be fast! Yet precise. I can´t help it, but it got Hotline Miami vibes, since the action is really intense. I had really great time with your little game, and would certainly love to see more. Thank you and great job!
First of all congrats to your new game! :) The timeframe is hard but I think you did really great job. The animations are awesome and the sound effect of shooting ?! Awesome ! :D Really made me laugh. Overall really nice entry with a theme I can relate to! Thank you for your game!
... now, get me out of here! (Wanted to share the screenshot, but did not want to spoil the ending for others, but I get all the polluters!)
Just what I needed to start new week with! Quite challenging and soo funny! I want to see more from you guys! Great job
eventhough I don´t know what this was, it was oddly satisfying to try to get higher... and perhaps the experience would be even better if the player is high(er) as well :D I spent with it more time than initially intended. Would be definitelly curious about the final product and what is this actually about.
Thank you for calm and nice experience. The art is great and overall mood as well. Really nice entry. Thank you!
Really cute graphics and definitelly one of the best entries I have came across. Feels very polished and overall well executed! Great job. Now I need to get back and finish this :)
Really cool take on the theme! Had a blast with it, thank you
You made really cute game, however the controls felt bit clunky, especialy the jumping. Sometimes I had really hard time to get up on the branches. Then I saw a ladder, and was hoping it could help me to get up and down, however I wasn´t able to figure out how to use it (if possible?). Nevertheless good job on the game, it is really nice take on the theme. Thank you for this!
Good job and a solid tower defense entry!
What a shame I wasn´t able to save all of them, which is bit frustrating since there is so much happening... bad seagulls! :) Overall nice entry. Good job!
Totally love the game. The art is well done empesizing the shootng/fighting effects (those are handled really well), with all the destruction that gives you a big satisfaction. Love to see how elegantly you have managed to display the difficulty of each enemy by simply changing the color, which gives player very clear indication what he is facing, and yet it allows you to build up the difficulty and not spending time with additional art on new enemies. Love this entry, one of the bests I have seen so far! Also great take on the theme! Only thing, I would love to see how that Spring of Life looks like, but I´ll leave that to my imagination for now ;) Thank you for this experience
Simple, yet amazing! Had really good laugh and want to push for more. Really great take on the theme and perfectly executed! Great job, thank you for this! best_fish.png
One question is if there is a fail state? The concept feels to have good foundation and I had really a need to keep that plant alive, I was smashing it but at one point I felt I lost, as the enemy reached the plant, but I didn´t. It kept going on. And that would be my suggestion, to implement some final state as it would keep the game, really a game :) Overall this is a solid entry. Good job!
Wow, this feels really complex and can´t believe how much you were able to fit in. Awesome job!
Really nice and solid entry. The boss fight is also good handled and I like that you have to deal not only with boss, but also with new waves. That is a cool addition although, it would be great to see boss switch between 2 or 3 types of attack. But this is barelly a complaint, I enjoyed the game and I will try to beat my original time now (24514). Great job!
Very atmospheric! The mood is really strong side of the game and overall I like the take on the theme. The eyes in the dark are amazing and as I was able to finish the game on the first playthrough, I just had to go into the dark, wait and see what happens. Great job!
Really nice take on the theme, although it would be great if you´d be able to add rotation of the character so he is not walking backwards, and also I was quite confused what happened after I reached to the ladder. Then I realised it was me passing to the 2nd level. Perhaps some additional information for the player would be great to have there. Overall really solid entry, love the idea of a platformer running out of light. Great job!
Really nice take on the theme! It is sad but unfortunatelly true, that sometime the nature have to take care of its own as people don´t do much. I wanted to keep it alive as long as I could however at some point my bird just refuses to fly and I can´t do much. And I just couldn´t figure out if this is a bug or I am doing something wrong. Despite that this is really nice entry! Great job. Btw the animations of picking/droping stuff are really awesome. As well as the human smoking. Really nice little details!
Really interesting take on the theme, the driving is hard, even without being drunk, and I kinda like that the main goal is to keep the plant alive, not actually save some life with ambulance? :) Great job, liket is a lot!
Alright, so this is truly great. First love the puns with eggs, and it is great that you have it allover your game. Sencond, I am really impressed with the lenght of the path you have to travel till the end. Personally I thought that the game will end by the first encounter with an astronaut. And that would be totally enough, given this is a jam game, however you made even further away and I am glad that the final frontier was the space. Truth is that I would love to see the egg go thru more familliar areas, like in the kitchen, however this "Wipeout" like obstacle course was also very fine and sometimes quite challenging. I can see some polishing with some obstacles, but this can hardly be a complaint since this is a game jam and also a fact that you made quite big game itself. Great work, this is going to my personal list of Top games from this LD.
The art style is so cute and I really like it! The controls are bit tricky to handle but at least it gives it bit more challenge to the gameplay. Also I would emphesize the need of the tutorial even in game. The day changing machanic is really awesome and give this completely new take to the jump and collect kind of platformer. Really great job! Truly one of the best entries. Really inovative, would love to see more. Both in terms of polish and levels.
This is so far the best I have seen around. I saw some of your progress during the weekend and wanted to try it. Now I have that, and I love that! Amazing idea, great execution! Thank you
Nice take on the theme! I would perhaps think of some at least minor damage to the egg even while catching it into the wagon, since it can fly really high or far :) But this is hardly a complaint, really sweet idea that is executed very well! Great job!
Really nice entry, and I especially love the tension when you know that the light is going to die, and you don´t know if you´ll be able to make it to the fire. Good stuff, great job!
Nice little game you got there! As other mentioned already the intro is bit too long and some skip option would be great. Also, I kinda miss the Brian, would be great to see him somewhere, or did I miss something?! :) Overall really nice idea how to approach the theme! Really great that you included the voices as well. Great job! Thank you
The art is amazing and along with sound it makes this really atmospheric. Great job!
Really nice entry. The defense is intense and great to have a shield option! Great job, now I need to give it few more tries :)
I can imagine this to be real good with just few adjustments. Can't really see the theme. Also there is no penalization for not jumping... It would be great to have some failure state in the game as well as some win condition. Nevertheless good job! I really love the idea!
Again amazing entry! Hard to master but easy to have fun! Thanks for this, had a blast! (pun intended)
This is a game of patience. Really nice idea, but it is so challenging! I was able to get to level 3 but I had to end there. Love how the music is almost making fun of the player saying "C´mon, what is taking you so long. This is nice and easy.... tralalaaaa" :) Great Job!
Thank you for doing this!
Great to see some relaxing game where you don´t have to worry about anything and just relax after exhausting weekend. Thank you for this nice experience.
This is hard! I was able to do score of 12 after some attempts. Pretty nice idea. Good job.
How could I forget about the washing machine when it comes to the loops! Great job you did here and fun take on the theme. Ever since my youth I wanted to try to be mr. Proper at least for a moment. Thank you for making my child dream come true.
@tulipekoni Thank you for playing and feedback. I understand your point and will thing about it(perhaps for some future update), but for now I think that if the switch is not responsive, it might be confusing for the player.
@tesseract Thanks and good job! 68 is pretty decent score ;) I know about the collisions bug, but I wasn´t really able to find the root cause yet. But I will try to dig deeper and find some stable solution.
@merkisoft Thanks for the feedback! Agree with you that the color are too dark. The color changing was the last thing I was doing and I did not have much time left to tweak the palettes. I had the change of the radius and speed of rotation in TODO list, but you know how it goes :D Again thanks for playing!
edit. @caiclone Thank you for your time and feedback! Totally agree with all of your points. The change of pace is quite high and I really wasn´t able to print my pixelart into the game properly.
"Stop staring at me moon"! Love it, you have a little story there, and great music and minimalictic effects that supports the overall mood. I love to imagine how intense the situation for the crew of such space object could be in this situation, and next to it the contrast of calm music. For me this is a great representation of a space. As space seems to be so quiet and calm, yet no one can hear you scream! :) Just only one addition would be great to have. The ability to skip the intro, in favor of trying to repeat the mission and try to get out of this unfavorable situation! Great , great job done!
Imressive. Almost hard to belive that this was done solo and within 48hours. Really great stuff, I have nothing else to say. Thank you for this amazing experience and congrats, great job done! Certainly the best thing I have played so far.
Really sweet idea. Would be great to have some background music and really nice take on the theme! Great job, really liked that experience!
Amazing! Great take on the theme, and evethough it was a complete chaos when I got to B variable... well that´s what you get when you play with While loops. Great stuff! Thank you for such entry!
What I really like about your games is that you are always able to give it a little something, that gives it a unique feel. Now I am really curious with what "instrument" were all the sounds created :) Really cute game you made mate. Good Job!
I was first confused with the controls but I was able to get the hang of it, pretty fast. The overall idea is really nice and the take on the theme is originall. Music is also very pleasing, it is not putting you under pressure, it just calmly motivates you to try it again and again. Good job!
Really nice concept you have. With the time you have spend on this, the result is very promising and would be interested in some post-jam update. My suggestion would be to bound the instruments also to certain keys on the keyboard and have the ability to "reset all" (in the terms of wrongly placed notes). Overall great entry! Good job.
edit. you might have typo in the first line of the description? ( … or figure out how to cheap! - should be cheat?)
So I have tried the update and must say that the improvement is huge! Way more understandable and user friendly :) Way to go! Love it. Now going to try that level 10 :)
Very well handled and polished game! Really cool and fresh concept. Great job!
Bit shame that you were not able to fit few sounds or some win condition. But I well understand that the time constrains are really challenging and you have done amazing job. The mechanism is really inovative and as a space lover, I must say that I had to hold my breath with each leap as it is kinda scary to know that if you miss your jump, it is just you and the infinity. Good job!
I will get back to this one. My brain still needs something rather simple after last 48 hours :)
Really interesting how you have approached the theme. The mood is chilling :) Good Job!
So I was having the signal spawned still on the same place. But you did a great job! Would love to see some addition like the key being pressed, but the time constrains are very limiting especialy for compo, so really no worries about that. Thank you for this nice experience. Would definitely love to see some post-jam update ;)
This is really nice style and the feel of the old screen is just awesome! Great job.
Nice entry you have there. Would be great to force player to encounter the enemies since now you can just fly by till the end. But overall nice job done! Really dig the music!
This was weirdly satisfying thing to play. The setting of the game is great as well as the atmosphere. Love how you used the theme and combined it with dystopian topic. Could be cool to see some post-jam update with few more options to control and perhaps some back story. I would certainly be interested :) Great job! "Died! Next!"
I would say that failure is a necessary part of gamedev or gameJams. It is good that you publish the stuff you did and should be proud of yourself that you took the time and record such commentary. Not much people would do that. I know that it can be really frustrating once you realize that the stuff you wanted to do don´t work the way you wanted, or don´t work at all. And you might not feel like a winner, but you faced the situation and did not just bailed out. And that is a big success (at least in my world) ;)
I will remain stuck in the endless cycles of eterninty. For now. As I will get back to it and try to solve it all. You did really great job and you were able to achieve so much witch such minimalistic thing. Great job!
Ok, great... just yesterday I thought that I have played the best game of this LD and now your entry. Really embarassing! Thanks a lot. Now really, this is soo hillarious idea and I love the take on the theme and overall the execution feels good. Great Stuff, thank you for this!
This is a really nice looking prototype. I bet you could build on this pretty easily. As you mentioned it is not much to look for around, but anyway great job on what you have done! All you have in there works good and the way you described, and that is a success.
I found it quite hard and also funny. had really great time with slappy bird, love the voice over! Great job done, and nice take on the theme!
Really sweet entry! Although there is no bg music (as you mention) the game is really nice. Overall well handled! Good job
Love the atmosphere and the mood you have set. Sometimes it felt bit confusing in the terms of orientation, but that might be just my personal issue... also since the game is set basically somewhere in the guts of unknown creature, who wouldn´t loose the orientation :) Overall really nice entry and ortiginal take on the theme! Great job done!
Oh man, I would love to see more from the world you made here. The mood and aesthetics is really nice and this is exactly that kind of a setting I would like to discover more :) . Really nice job done!
really awesome take on the theme! Love the minimalistic approach with both controlls and graphic. Very atmospheric, would love to see more! Great job!
Overall a really nice entry. It would be cool to have some sort of an Oxygen "healthbar" so it would push player to find another tank of O2. Also, if some sort of a goal would be waiting in the deeps, as from what I have seen, it is about how deep you can go and survive among the monsters (or perhaps I just haven´t the end?). But the way you did it is also completely valid! Overall great job done, and everyone that tries to do a game under water deserves my huge credit and respect!
This is trully amazing. Not gonna lie, I had some hard times while facing the battles, but that was mistake on my end :) The mood and minimalistic approach is really fresh and I would certainly love to see more! This goes to my top list from this jam for sure! Great Job!
The atmosphere is really on top notch level! I am really glad that you have included so many checkpoints! Really great entry and deep down there it can be really scary. And the end?! Love it! Really great job done!
@doc-kaos You are right. On each floor there is a cog(wheel). You need to find it and pick it up. Once you have that, you can use the elevator. Sorry for lack of info, I did not manage to fit that in on time...
The granades itself were really tricky to implement. I had to go with "workaround" solution that does not work ideally, but I thought that it will be better to have something rather than nothing :) Thank you so much for playing and your feedback!
Thank you all for playing my entry and leaving the feedback!!
@loig : You are right, the movement need polish, as well as I have forgotten to correct the gravity :D
@benjamin123 : I plan to do a post-jam update, so I will think about some reward for the kills and to your second point you are definitely right. You in fact have 3 points of health, but the implementation of loosing it is done very poorly, so it seems that you die instantly. Quick fix there for sure ;)
@neon : Unfortunatelly you have to be fast and try to utilize the granades as much as possible. You can´t stop the horde, it gets only worse with the time :)
@mastoast : I was looking into the code and found out that I have simply forgot to apply the correct amount of gravity. And for some reason I didn´t think of fixing that before hitting "publish" :) Thanks for the feedback, gravity is going to be fixed in first patch ;)
@evannex @thiradil @cyrdaan Thank you for the feedback and your time with my game!
@nice-gear-games : first of all thank you and you are right about the granades. It was a real pain to work on that and the result you saw was just the best workaround I was able to pull off, in order to make the granades work at least somehow. There is still some AOE, but since I have made the explosion on touch and not based on timer, it can be tricky to get the AOE effect every time. This is definitelly wrong and I already know how to aproach it better ;)
@maytch Cheers mate! THank you so much for playing the game. I will get to your entry soon as well ;)
@iluvatar Thank you mate! Yeah there are few gaps or even a holes in it, but we all know how it goes with game jams :D Really appreciate your feedback!
@jcmonkey : sure as I am doing a post jam patch, this is really easy think to add, so I will add it to my list ;) Thanks for playing my game
@andidebob Thank you so much for playing and feedback! I agree that the granade behaviour is annoying, and that is mostly because I did not have enough time to prepare it better. I will try to make it better in the post jam version ;) And yes, you can see zombies falling if you are not fast enough :D
@rngames Thank you for kind words about my pixels and controls. Movement is only my bad, as I did not apply the correct gravity :D
@copito Thank you for playing and for the feedback. That granade behaviour was just the fastes solution during the game jam, to get the granades work at least somehow, there will be patch for that ;)
@andrewaprice Thanks and yes, you need to be fast in order to not get overwhelmed by zombies everywhere :) There is no cap, they just spawn, so it gets worst with the time ;)
@mrawde thank you for playing! @rawbits Thank you for feedback and your time with my game. Congrats, you are the first one that actually found out (and let me know) about the "jumping walls" :) It is not correct, I know about it, and it will be fixed aswell. First, I did not think about that, and later, there was no time to fix it to the correct state. So be careful, you can jump yourself from the scene pretty easily ;)
Really nice job done! The work with rope is really impressive and overall the mood and the adventure is great! Love it! Mushrooom :)
The attack felt bit strange and I really couldn´t get the hang of it. But overall this is really nice entry that fits the theme well. Great job done!
At first I was bit confused, but after few attempts I was able to save some ant frieds :) I found the switching bit confusing and the movement was also bit tricky. But overall I think you have made a really original take on the theme and with few adjustments this could work pretty well. Nice job!
Really cool idea and the representation of the theme. I love ho minimastically you were able to tell the story and let us peak what your Couch contains :) Great job!
For some reason I had issues with jumping and the game did react on every 10th-ish press. But overall this is really solid entry with nice take on theme. As other mentioned some sounds/music would be a really nice touch, however it we all know how hard it is to squeeze in everything in, in such a short time frame. Good job!
@copito you are right. I have different keyboard setting and switching it to English did the trick ! :) Thank you
As you mentioned, technicaly it is not a game yet, but I can see it could be one day. As a prototype this is really interesting and I think I wouldn´t be the only one that would wonder what this can evolve into.
I just hope you will do some post-jam version, as this is really nice and solid base. Lovely art accompanied by sweet tunes that feels that there might be something sinister waiting for you down below. I have just noticed that picking the chests sometimes shows weird coin counts, but that is really nothing serious. What is serious is the job done on particle effects and procgen! Love it. Really great job done mate!
Trully impressive work also given the fact that you are working with your own engine. Great job, and congrats on the game
I just want to say that this is truly awesome. I would tweak the difficulty a little as it felt easy, but apart from that, this is a gem! Thank you for this! Love it
I did not make it till the very end... if it is even possible, but this is really nice entry. First I thought that the game takes place just in the elevator, but it was great to see that there is more! I would just do some adjustments in the falling part in the terms of level design, as some obstacles is bit tricky to avaid as the gap is too tight and it is quite hard to fit in with the controls. But really impressive work! Good job done
It took me few runs to figure out what is doing what. Perhaps that could be nice to have bit more tooltips here and there, but I was able to get it pretty soon. It is hard, it is challenging and really nice take on the theme. I like that you have to control everything with basically one button as it makes the degree of multitasking high! I did not make it till the end, but great job did here! I think you have solid base even for some post-jam update.
Just the fact that you can play the game with a drawing tablet and it makes sense to play it this way, is just brilliant! The take on the theme is very original and overall idea is really nice! I did not beat the boss yet (as you could see on my stream) but I will try to get back to it! Great job!
This is really nice idea. As I am huge fan of FTL and any simillar game, this definitely caught my eye and would love to see more. Eventhough it would be cool to have bit clearer visualisation of the management, it is really great entry. Congrats on that and thanks for this pleasant experience! Good job
Very nice entry. I wonder good the game would be against human oponent. But even against AI it is really nice. The only thing that I would change is, that the game feels based on randomness rather than skill (as most of the time you don´t know where you gonna land), which is ok, but overall in this kind of games it could lead to frustration on the players side. Since it is a race I would like to be able to build my skill overtime. But that is just my personal taste and overall really nice game jam entry. Good job!
Ok, this is really nice entry! The music, voice acting, art (especially the menus and UI are superb - great job as always @woodspixl) are just amazing! Really feels so great and polished! The gameplay misses few things here and there, but nothing serious. I would just mention one thing, player is basically not forced to use the scan to get things. You can just dig down and down and down, and you will automatically get the stuff, and since you are deep, you are getting only good stuff. So the scanner can be bypassed like that and that would be shame as the scanning mechanic is great! Also I have noticed that if you are facing right and just drill down, you can even drill thru the bombs without getting any damage. I know that this is not the usual playthru you would expect from players, but it can happen. But this is barelly a complaint, I really enjoyed your game and definitelly goes to my top list from this LD. Great job everyone and thank you for such a pleasant experience!
Really nice entry and interesting take on the theme. Really impressive how much you were able to do within a compo time frame. Great job!
Although the music was bit repetitive and got stuck in my head, this is really nice entry and way how to approach the theme. Great Job!
Pretty solid game you have created here. I must admit that at first I did not notice the shrinking, so reading the story was quite important. The idea is really nice, eventhough it does not match the theme on the first sight. You have used the assets in a very nice way and it is really pleasant experience for the player. Great job! If you keep working on it even after jam, I would be interested in seeing the final result :)
This is really cool! Great job done!
Great entry that might be short, but I must say that I am impressed how you handled to tell player what to do without using any words. Certainly not an easy task. Also the atmosphere is amazing! Would love to see more from this world :P Great job and thank you for such experience
17540 is the score but I think I can do better :) Really great entry and I had so much fun with it, exploring the world in a bit different way. There are for sure areas that would need bit more polish, and you have most likely forgot to set the music on a loop, as it ends afret a while, also it would be cool to have more variety as it gets repetitive, but I think I am not saying anthing you wouldn' t already know. Overall I had so much fun that those little things doesn' t really matter, this one certainly goes to my TOP list from this LD. Great Job!!
REally cool entry you got there and great job in doing all of this during compo! But after all I would have one complaint or a bug to report. I am an abstinent just for the record, but it seems that the champaigne did not arrive even after the second playthru :P Great job!
Really nice take on the theme and overall quite fun gameplay. At first it was bit harder for me to get the hang of the controls, but it can be handled pretty fast. Great job!
@iluvatar thank you David for kind words :) The problem with movement is, that I have forgot to mention, that you can use SHIFT to run :D The issue with "0" is strange, yet I know about it, but wasn' t able to debug it properly before the release and as it happens only sometimes I will hope not many people will run into it :)
Overall the game is missing loads of stuff, but I am glad that at least pixelart and music is decent. Thank you for playing!
@sakura-magika Thank you for playing. I have just recently discovered that I am not reseting the timers of bombs, that means that even if you'd be perfectly finding all the bombs your would still explode quite fast. Luckily it is an easy fix that I will release after the jam ends. To your running issue, there is a "hidden" feature of holding shift for run. It is mentioned only on itch page of the game so it can be easily missed. I understand your point with finding the bomb and agree that it might be better to go bit more arcade-like approach, but I wanted to keep at least some sort of challenge for the player, so I want player to discover the house by the numbers. Also the world is not that big at the moment. But I get your point. Thank you for the feedback!
@victoriaogino @nahuelito @bauke-regnerus Thank you for playing the game!
@greenradiation I know right? :D I like to do such things actually. Thank you for playing.
@oddsocks Hey mate! Thanks a lot for your time and such a kind words!
@bakuchi thanks for playing. Yes the update is already beeing cooked and will be out soon after the jam. Most frustrating is the fact that I was just few libes of code from way better and less buggy version, but that is how jams works :)
@lesinvisible thank you for playing and kind words
@gdesecrate You are right, the timers are not reseting at the moment, that means that you are going to explode no matter what ... not a nice bug for sure, but I have a fix for that prepared for the after jam version already ;) Thanks for playing though!
@antbrl The contrast is really on puprose, but you are right that some "stress" factor would be nice, at least once you pick-up the bomb. I will try to keep that in mind for future refference and for the post jam version. And the idea was to have bigger village, with perhaps some random spawning of the buildings, but the scope would be already way to huge, so I kept the area open. Thanks a lot!
@barrier At this point you can literally drop the bomb anywhere and you are ok, there is a drop zone which gives you some points (that I am not showing anywhere :D). The idea was to get the bomb away from any building to prevent the explosion and collapse of the building, but again, no time for that. On my itch page there is a note that you need to hold shift for running ;) THanks for playing!
@hawkin THanks for kind words and it is really great to hear that someone noticed the little details ;) With that timer, it is not always 10 secs, your RNG was indeed just way too harsh. The problem is (as mentioned earlier) that if you would have made it, lets say 3 secs before the timer ends, the next bomb will start at 3 secs timer. I forgot to reset the timers. So yeah :D Anyway there will be a patch comming up, if you'd like to see it more complete. And I will be for sure making more games in foreseeable future so I will be more than glad to hear feedback from you again! Thanks a lot again, really appreciate the feedback.
Ok you got me scared with some red thingy that jumped at me adn I was not expecting that at all :D Solid entry, however I can imagine to make it even spookier with some nice tense music in the background. Good Job!
Really nice idea and some monument valley vibes. As you mentioned it is quite short but I don' t see any problem with that, as we all know how it is with time during jams :) Great job done!

Really great stuff, feels very polished and quite original! Great job done!
Quite nice take on the theme, also nice that you have included some lore into the game as well. I would love to see some variation into the slides and perhaps some infinite mode with some score for comparison with others, but overall great job!
This is really cool entry. I know that multitasking is not my best skill, but this is hard. Nevertheless I had a real blast playing it. The sound is just so fitting, great job done!
This is very atmospheric and I love it. Great take on the theme
Such a great idea and originall as well. Instantly goes to my list of top games from this LD as this is just exactly my kind of a game! Love it, great job done
Very inovative approach to the theme and as a Asteroids lover, I can feel some similar vibe although the sounds were bit too sharp to my ears, and I think if you'd adjust the sounds and music overall to less repetitive feel and not that sharp, It would be way better experience, at least for me. But nevertheless, great job done!
I think that the only (main)thing that your game is missing is at least some explanation of the basics. I mean I was able to pass the levels, but it was just me trying stuff and hoping for win, which came eventually, but I wasn't sure why. Also the music stopped after a while. Overall great job and very solid entry!
Amazing entry! I think that everything was already said, but everything feels just right and the minimalistic approach seems to be more than fitting to the theme and jam overall. Great job, thank you for such experience.
This is sooo hard. I love everything about it, but man I was not able to land even on that moon. But it is really good so I want to try it later on and hopefully will be able to continue :) Great job done, really impressive!
Your low-poly creations never fails to make my day better. Keep it up! Few bugs here and there, especially the killing does not always goes as planned, but the take on theme is fun. Thanks for refreshing my memory :)
As always very nice and polished, this time around with pico-8 vibes. Really impressive how you can consistently deliver every game-jam such nice and well looking game. Great job! Big fan!
Finally had a change to get to your submission and I am glad I did. The art is so cute and along with all the dialogs, music and voice acting! :D Amazing. I am always bit disapointed that these games are too short, but also impressed how you can so elegantly set the scene and the backstory and always leave the space for the player (me) to want more. Great Job as always David. Keep it up mate! "Beep boop"
This is really nice! I love everything you have and would love to see more. The only thing I am missing is the theme, as you just steal supplies. Don't get me wrong it is great and as always theme is something you can or don't have to follow, so this is barelly a complaint. I would definatelly like to know if you create more of this. Great job!
This is totally amazing! Love how minimalistic pico-8 games are and this is rally lovely little game... and funny that you can make a literally an angry mob here :D Great job!
This is very nice and I could spend with these kind of games hours. So it would be cool to see some more content, perhaps some upgrades and also the difficulty change and some more content in gerenal. But what you have created for the jam is an absolute blast! In the later phases it is enough to have 6 lasers and you can carry 6 packages of dangerous cargo without any issues (just few repairs are needed after each run;)). Great job done!! Screenshot_59.png
Very nice idea. I must admit that it is quite hard. I love the way how the ship is moving, just the jumping could be bit smoother. Overall really nice entry. Good job
Good job
Amazing take on the theme + it has Vogons... :) Eventhough the drone controls are easy, you were able to give me the impression that I am really controlling the drone in a way, some proffesional pilot would do. Great job done!
I must say that overall the movement and controls feels good. The premise is simple and clear, yet this works the best. The only think I would like to see differently is the art would be more consistent, as it feels like you have just used assets that would work good as placeholders to prototy the thing, but it would be great to give bit more love here as zombies are in different sly than humans as well as your "tank" is in completelly different style, but all of them are pretty detailed, but then the environment feels really basic. But to be honest, not everything can be done the way we wanted in during the jam and I had a blast anyway :) Great job Done!
@ltyrosine @ditam @professor Thanks a lot for playing the game and kind words!
@ollie-d @jaydubbyasee You are both totally right, I wanted to add faster scrolling later on, as it would give the game bit bigger challenge factor, but I programmed that part poorly, so there was no time for implementation. Maybe in some later patch. Thanks for playeing the game and your feedback!
@paulhocker Thanks for your feedback. You are totally right with music loop, however as small the game is, more music would be quite time expensive :)
@publicidadeba thanks a lot for kind words, I always love to make these little details and what is even better to see that some notice that :) Also there is no team, it was just me. I could fully start on Sunday so had to go for jam and not compo
@lucavazz I wanted to make the crashes enjoyable. I have added outlines to the ones you can collide with. I was thining about fade or bit smaller houses in the background, but at the end this was a better solution in my opinion, since it felt bit nicer. Also it will keep the player focused. Thanks for playing and feedback!
@iluvatar Thank you so much for such a kind words mate! It feels really good to read that some of the players can see these little details I love to put into my games... It can be bit tidious work that takes more time that would be needed, but since I am a poor programmer, I try to "shine" somewhere else :D Thanks again! I am taking a break for few days, but I will get back to your game soon ;) Cheers
@routard You know how it goes, you plan all the stuff and then you need to cut it and cut it and cut it... :D So I totally agree that there could be way more places where to deliver packages as well as I should at least patch the repairs (and few building) as sometimes these overlap each other :D Anyway thank you for kind words, your feedback and the time you have spend with my game!
@dexort thanks a lot for kind words. I tried to boost the difficulty with baloons and more birds but I have failed to add speeding up the whole thing. But there will be after jam patch just to polish the details and make it more challenging with bit more content ;)
@tomssuli thanks a lot for fantastic feedback! About hitboxes, this is actually really nice catch and thing I have forgot to take care of. I am just simply changing the animation and forgot to turn off the collisions, will fix that. Collisions of the building I wanted to leave like this from the very begining, but I might change the size/oppacity of the ones on the background, since it could be more readable ;) You are also very correct about the generation and this was something I didn't have time to fix before publishing. Good news is that I have already patched this, so objects should never be placed on top of each other ;)
As I mention above already, there is going to be a patched version once the rating period is over. I will add few new features (speed up is going to be included) and might think about the online leaderboard as well. So if you'd like to try it after patch, just be sure to check my game after this LD is over ;) THX a lot once again, this was really helpful!
@jacobwinters unfortunatelly not everything is possible to be done during the timeframe of the jam as you know :) and as much as I would like to have the fonts pixelated as the rest of the game, I simply was not able to. But as mentioned in my other responses, patch will come, and new UI will be there as well. And yes, faster scrolling will make the aim harder, again, not in the jam version :/ Thanks a lot for your feedback and time with my game! It is truly helpful!
@johnnysix there is a post compo plans, but only as a patch with few new features, but certainly not mash up with Jing & Jang :D Which is funny idea but I am afraid I don't want to go that way :D
But thanks a lot for playing! Stay close if you want to see the update ;)
This was nice, I even made it to the top 5 in the leaderboard :) I like the overall idea and the backstory is really rich. Sometimes the collisons with ceilings got me stuck (but you have nice unstuck button), and the backstory is nice, but perhaps you could have include bit more gameplay content as well, since you force player to go back and forth for quite some time. Would be nice to have something that would break it, as I feel that some players might not be motivated enough to see what is at the end. And that would be shame ;) Good job with your game and good job in coordination so many people!
The gameplay in a combination with the clasic music is really nice and fun. Sometimes I had an issue where I tried to pick the turret or birds and instead I was dragging the screen, but that is just a minor thing and probably just my fault :D Overall very nice entry. Good job
Really nice little thing. At first I thought that this is going to be super hard, but you can get into it very quicly and then it is no problem. Would be cool to see some challenge as you have very nic foundation for it. Good job
This is actually pretty nice idea. Bit strange that there are helicopters with rockets (and the anti-air system seems not to be working) :D Also there are notes about faster speed, but either the increments are too small to notice, or there are none? But really nice and orignal take on the theme. Good job!
Really nice experience and original take on the theme as it is refreshing to see game with dog sledge. Sure there could be more, but for game jam it is quite impressive how big your world is. Unfortunatelly there is authors time missing at the end, but mine was 182, so I hope I was not that bad :D Good job!
This is definition of craziness :D A bit confusing at fisrt what to do, where to pick up and where to deliver. The first marks where to pickup new boxes and where to deliver them appeared after like 2 minutes for some reason. I would preffer way more bit more conventional camera, as it is quite crazy :D Also sometimes going thru fences, roads etc made me bit confused. All of that said, I enjoyed this! The art and the world you have created is very nice. Great job
Although it is quite open interpretation of the theme, the boss fight feels so good and polished. Love the details of screen shake and the screen filter gives it nice vibes. Great job done
Very cool! Good job. I am always impressed with all puzzle entries... still can't figure out how you guys can make such great games, during such short time.
Wow this was a really cool approach on the theme but also to the game play mechanic. Feels really clean and well executed. Little backstory covers the game nicely and the element of figuring out how to "deliver" is quite immersive, since you jump right into the action. The very last animation of the night witches is such a sweet nice touch. Great game, I love it!
Nice take on the theme and very minimalistic approach. I actually really enjoys such thing, where I first randomly click on everything as fast as possible. But then take some time to think everything thru and actually see the result. Still don't feel that 45 delivered cups is much, but feels good :) Good job!
I love the art you have made, it is clean and well readable. One thing that would be nice, is to show on the enemy that it is going to attack. This way you could plan the block bit better (but you can play around it now ofc) and maybe play a little more how to represent the theme. But this is barelly a complaint. You made great game! Good job!
I took my time with this one. I waited to have a free evening, turned on the projector and started this little journey... I knew what to expect as I saw few streams during the jam, and these atmospheric stories you do are always so enjoyable. All acompanied with nice pixels and great sound. Congratz on another piece done my friend! Good job done
Really nice entry. The atmosphere really sells this one and the Cthulu almost gives you a chills on the back of your neck! I am just sad that there are only 6 levels, which is not a complaint! I would just love to get more of it :) great job
153 is not bad I would say... but I definitelly want moreeee :D So awesome idea, just love it! The online score is great touch. There is no neeed to say more. Now lets get back to beating others
@warren-fisher I will have to check that, was testing just Chrome in Windows, not sure what that could be, but thanks for the heads up!
@viniflores Thx a lot for feedback! Yeah, there is a lot to be adjusted and properly tested. Mana can be obtained also by sending some to worship place and also the summoning gives you some
@iluvatar you are way to kind my friend :D Let's face it, it is not about your skill issue and unfortunatelly it is not a well done. I overscoped and planned poorly, but I have tried something I never done before (althought it did not fully work out) in new engine. Learned a lot and super glad for that... Now I just need to keep that focus and come back wiser for the next one ;)
@oadt thanks a lot for playing, totally agree with you, it lacks a lot of info towards player that would help to clearly understand what is going on. Thanks for giving it a shot and for the feedback!
@larsievl congrats, I think you are one of a few that made it that far :) FYI, there are 4 bosses in total, but only the first 2 should have an image as well :D
@aarimous Thank you for stopping by. I am actually completelly reworking the idea so it will be a "proper" idle incremental clicker. I would like to update the game after the voting period is done. This genre is a new for me and I wanted to learn something new, so I want to make this step further, to help the learning process :)
@milq thanks, I believe that art is my stronger side, however code always sabotage all my efforts :D But I'll get there
Overall very solid and functional entry. Truth is that the controls feels bit off simetimes. I am also not a fan of that floor tiling that reminds me of blank canvas in Aseprite :D but that is barelly a complaint. Last thing to mention that I kinda miss the jam theme, although I understand that you were summoned to that place to take orders, but that is just me ;) Good job on your entry!
This is nice entry. Congrats on making clicker where I had to play it until I had everything unlocked :) However few things I was missing: Some basic explanation of what is actually going on, with chickens, with chicken hooded people. Some simple music or effects would give it another great layer of atmosphere. Also there were mentioned skeletons/zombies/etc... would love to see them visualised in some form as well. But! I know it is much to ask for a jam, as for me, it is already very impressive how well you managed to make nice and catchy clicker game! Great job
so cool and catchy... really clever idea how to approach the theme! Great job done! Excuse me now, I need to get a better score :)
I believe thaat everything has been said already, but really good job done
Such a refreshing idea... sure, there are things that could be bit better, but really who cares... You nailed it! Awesome job, had really good time with your game
First of all great acomplishment of doing your first game outside of the tutorials, I think that is a great step forward and hope you'll keep it up into the next jams. The game is simple, yet very readable and I can see how you aimed for the theme. Sure there are things that could go better, but overall good job putting everything together ;)
Overall very cool concept and idea, however to fully enjoy the game it lacks bit better and intuitive controls. However this is barelly a complaint as to polish everything in the timeframe of the jam is usually not possible :) Good job
I have seen a lot of "clicker" games but this is somewhere else!! Such a cool and inovative idea that works so well with the theme. I am stunned and amazed! Great job!!
Hi Davide, again you got me, and again I love it! I must say, that the ending is so cool and funny. Love it! (as they say: only taxes and death are certain in life :D) Your pieces always create such a mood that it feels like you, as a player, are part of it. This time on very minimalistic scene, but that doesnt seem to be an issue. Huge kudos to the music and the art overall! Great job done my friend.
Actually very nice and funny approach to the theme :) Great job!
I have to say that atmosphere is really cool and I am not fully sure, but I hope I am right, I like when sound design reflects the gameplay, it really pulls the player in and I felt that way. Great job on that! Iverall it felt bit hard, but that was mainly because I was inpatient and ran into traps multiple times :) Great job!
honestly I am not sure what to think about this :) Interesting and quite litteral take on the theme, but maybe I am missing the point? I like the balatro refference and really great job done on the visuals and how polished the whole game feels! But to enjoy this bit more I would need I guess bit more. First couple of pack was interesting to open, but the pace felt maybe bit too slow and after few minutes I was not really motivated to click and wait if I get anything new. Also when I get new card, there was basically nothing satisfying on that, and I think that this kind of game would need that. But Thin might be just me as I am not a card collector or anything like that :) Nevertheless the technical side of the game is really great! Good job
Ahoj Jirko! Hands down, another game and I am again amazed how you are able to pull off cool puzzle game that feels so polished! The experience is very nice and learning curve is satisfying. Minimalistic yet it feels like a demo of some upcoming comercial puzzle game! Great job !
@kalbshack thanks a lot! Yeah this is actually nice idea, I might do that into a post jam version ;)
@tapot thanks a lot for playing!
@iluvatar Hi Davide :) Thanks for playing mate! As always there was no time for balancing the difficulty bit more, but I have already few ideas that I will push into a post-jam version. And I have absolutelly no idea how someone pushed so many points!! That 953 points of mine were done after about 30 minutes of grind :D
@rhewid to get 266 points with only 10 chips is super efficient! Great job and thanks for playing! Re-roll is a good point to have, but I was really time limited and I am glad that I have it this way at least :) Also I wanted to push player into constant insecurity and decision making.
@mynespyro thanks a lot for saying that, I was hoping it could be little addictive at least for some players, but it is really hard task to achieve :)
@tangiblegames thank you for playing and I agree with the difficulty, unfortunatelly there was no time for some balancing :/
@kaba You rock mate!! THis as awesome score and to be honest I was not sure for very long time, that someone could get this high! Thank you for such a kind words and for playing my little game!!
@torcado MAte you are incredible and huge huge thanks for giving my little game so much care :) Your score is beyond belive and I have absolutelly no idea how long and HOW you were able to do that :D Thanks!
@jiri-hysek thank you for kind words Jirko! means a lot!
Not gonna lie, I am a huge fan of pico-8 and I have spent first half of this year just playing with it and was even considering to make a game in it for this LD (that did not happen). Great entry it is clear and nicely fits the theme. I love the touch of the goal being incorporated directly into the play-field! Plus you have the timer to beat how fast you can make the collection! Great job, I love it!
So cool! Easy and understandable mechanic along with that dopamin boost while opening and getting new stuff from the packs. Love it, feels very good. Great job, had fun!
Interesting concept, at first glanc I would hope for bit more info, what is going on, but after few tries I know what to do. The game loop is very interesting and I like the take on the theme, however not sure if its just me, but it felt bit hard and unforgiving :D But overall very nice entry, good job!
This is cute as hell! REally cool game concept for a game jam. It took me some time to master it, but very lovely! Great job!!
THis is really cool, there are few downsides, but I understand it is very hard to cover everything during the jam. I was trying to freeze and it actually takes quite long :) I havent finished collection of all, just hit that blizzard. But overall I really enjoyed this one, as it instantly reminded me my favourite The Thing and I think that you really do a great job on the atmosphere of the station somewhere on very icy and isolated place. Great job!
No need to repeat the stuff the rest of the people already mentioned, but still, good job done! You made a game and I am sure you have learned a lot. Keep it up!
Really nice take on the theme and have to say stunning ART!! Totally in love with that. Great job
Very nice entry. The collisions with "enemies" fetl bit unforgiving and also there is an issue with sound. If you reset the game while music is playing, there are multiple tracks above each other ;) But this is barelly a complaint, the aesthetics is really nice. Good job done!
Really nice concept along with sounds that fit to whole mood. Love your ART. Good Job!
This was really fun and it is impressive what you have created in such short time. Really great job! Now I have try your new version with rainbow :)
I love almost anything that is in the space and this game is just so nice. Really love the minimalistic art done here and the whole concept is really refreshing. Great entry.
This was very pleasant surprise for me. It is great to see here something inspired with good old AoE :) I really like this idea and will love to get back to it and play it again. Thanks for this great experience.
Really like the idea of stealth tower defense. Really cool. The game overall would need some polish, I guess that is a fair point, but I think you have a nice potential here. Also thumbs up for the music! Good job.
Truly very nice. Enjoyed this one a lot and so far one of my favorites! Everything just works and the puzzles done in very understandable way. The Blue one reminds me one of Happy Tree Friends characters :) Really good job! Love the Ending!
You have created very nice puzzle. It is simple but it works really fine with your concept. The only thing I am missing are some sound that would just complete the mood of your game. Really nice entry. Great Job.
This is so far my personal winner. Really cool concept mixed with some tension while trying to type fast enough to kill all the chairs :) You have moved typing games in really unusual direction. I had a great time, and I would like to thank you for that!
Ok Wow. This really got me. After first few moments I wasn't really sure what is going on, but than I kinda lost in time and after some time I even found love :) The art is fine according to the nature and style of the game, and the tunes are really catchy (got that still in my head). Very nice entry.
Terrific, really love this one. That Retro vibe along with the music creates perfect duo to your zig-zag-ping-pong. What is the high score so far? :) Great job!
Really great entry that has made it to TOP3 games I have came across so far. Love the Art work done on this peace and also the mechanics are handled in top-notch matter. Thanks a lot, I had fine time! Great Job!
Bit hard at first till you get used to the controls and the mechanics, but fun all the way. Really cool entry! Great Job
Really nice entry. Like the graphics along with the sounds. Sometimes can be hard but overall this is very good entry. Good job!
This is very addictive and I liked it a lot. There are definitely things that would be great to be in game as well. For example some wave counter, enemies attacking from multiple sides in the same time, or some variety to the enemies. The cards also get bit buggy once you play longer as if you have everything upgraded you are still recieving upgrade cards, which is fine, but if you can't upgrade anything, you can't actually pick any other card. But the time is limited and I understand that it is very hard to put everything inside. After all I got stuck with this for about an hour, and that is great result for game like this. :) Great Entry. Thanks a lot
This was fun. Really original concept of cooking. I would definitely love to see some more content. Thanks for this unusual experience :) Good job.
Quite neat idea. I really like the art you have done here. Some polishing would be nice I guess as sometimes I got stuck and could not move further. Overall very nice entry :) Good job
This is a cool entry. I personally would prefer if the blood would come off and sometimes the cards seems to be bit buggy, since from time to time I had the card turned without even touching it. If it was intended, just ignore me. Overall I really like the idea of those 2 genres along with catchy tunes in the background. Good Job ;)
Oh man! Go ahead and rate some more games so you'll get more votes. This would be shame not to be rated. This is really piece of art what you did here. And great idea, that you can see what you have 'build' in the end. Really great job and I love to see some game where you don't have to 'beat' someone :) Big fan here!
Jumping can be almost frustrating from time to time, since the spawn of the enemies can be tricky :) And I was also hopping to get bit more puzzles. I guess it would be great to expand this with more levels, bosses and music tracks. I have left the Art on the end because Art is definitely your selling point :) Really good job guys! Thank you for this experience
This is really cool entry, althought it seems that it is done for different theme :) The execution is really great. Wonderful job!
Very refreshing and really great idea. Love it all the way and will have to play that agin, or if you'll have any expansion, count me in ;) The only thing I would add is some music or sounds at general. But I get that there is not much time to include everything during one run. Keep the great work! Your game is among top 3 so far! THanks
This was funny. Great concept and I love the art. We are using GM and Aseprite :) And it is great to see what all can be done with this tool set. Really nice entry, can still feel the beat in my head :) Good job
Really refreshing. While playing I had sort of 'Geometry wars' vibe and the shop remind me bit of good old 'FTL' :) The mechanics are fun and the gameplay generally good. It would be great to polish the objects a little along with he ship and perhaps give an option to use different ships. Overall really nice entry. Good Job
Very interesting and definitely 2 incompatible genres. The gameplay is hard to master and perhaps I would consider not to restart the level everytime you fail (I understand if this was your design decision, but after all if you fall down on skateboard you can stand back up, right? :)) Overall very solid entry. Good job.
Certainly an interesting entry. Truth is that you need to spend some time with this game in order to get to know, how things works and perhaps you could try to do some ingame tutorial or use bit deeper description. Can imagine that this is not for everyone, but if you'll work on some polishing this might work quite well. What I really love is the music! Anyway good work guys ;)
Really cool and pretty hard. Completely different typing experience made for your adrenalin to flow in your veins swiftly. Perhaps the commands 'right' 'left' could move the character bit more, but that would be just my personal preference since I didn't want to fail soooooo much :-D Really cool concept. Great Work!
I am so glad that someone made text-based game. This was really fun and really great idea! It builds the tension and I like that. Truth is that some more variety in your options could be nice, so I hope you will get to some post jam versions of your game. As some mention, sound would help the mood. But I must say that current 'no-sound' version fit's this text based thing really well and I would carefully consider the sound options :) Truly original and great Entry! Thank you.
really innovative. Glad I have came across your game as this is really unusual game experience and only in good way ;) Thanks for great fun I had.
I would love to read bit more about the background story of your game to be honest. It is very interesting idea and it would be great to have bit more better idea of what is happening (but it is just me, I like stories:)) I had a lot of fun with this crazy delivery company in this crazy world, with great sound in the background. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the Art you did, as it is also very nice. Great job guys! As the matter of fact, we did also game about delivery-guys, feel free to check it out ;) Cheers
Fantastic! :) I have ended up with 4 start and missed only 2 crops! Damn! :) You made almost rogue-like game experience. It is very well executed and I am really glad that I have came across this game. The story behind is hilarious and it made my day ;) Great job with great mood.
Ok this is amazing! Very challenging but also very well done. Great Job!
The challenge is real and the fun is immense. I'll have my friend to stop by tomorrow and we will definitely need to try this in multiplayer. Great job man!
Like the voice of the 'anoying' tips :) Really cool concept you did here and I spend much more time with your game than I originally thought I will. And that is a good sign! Great Job! I liked it a lot
Cool entry, the only shame is that any sounds are missing, but I understand that you can't fit in everything during such short time. Overall I liked this a lot despite the fact of how hard the game is. Good job!
Ok so at first I thought that I will not get any point what so ever :) After few attempts I got better and better and after all I saved quite a lot :) I would never ever imagine, that remembering 3 colors will be so difficult for me :-D Good job
Really like the mood of your game. The art is quite simple, but at the same time it works and fits perfectly. I like the art a lot! Would love to see bit more :) Good job!
Pretty cool entry. It gets hard pretty quickly. It would be great if you could polish the collisions a little and also character can get stuck to the platform quite easily (if you are trying to jump up). Anyway overall very good job guys! :)
This is an interesting idea and as a Dinosaur fan a must to play :) You have made a really nice environment with some cool puns (love the 'Reggtry'). REally thanks for this entry. Good job. p.s. for some reason I had no sounds. Perhaps a bug? or no sound in your game?
The mechanics are something I enjoyed the most about your game. Would love to see some expansion, perhaps with some environment tiles. Might help to change the tactics of the gameplay a little. Good Job!
It kind a reminds me game 'Into the breach'
This is quite nice entry, it would be great if the hit boxes would be optimized since you can have hard time to shoot the enemy (or perhaps only my problem, because I always aim for headshot :)). Also the death could be expressed bit more. I really like the mood and the background music. Good job.
Amazing work guys! Every aspect is mastered and I am really surprised how addictive this is. Will have to come back to this again :) Awesome!
So far the funniest thing I have played. The music is amazing and I was constantly laughing during my whole game play. You really made my day! Perfect job guys! Amazing
This looks very interesting but it was almost unplayable, however the idea is really funny. Would love to see this one after some polishing. Good job.
I am missing some sounds but I know that it is hard to get everything to game on time ;) overall good concept, good job :)
Unfortunately I think that those two genres should be compatible! :) Because this idea really got me and I want more. Really love your idea and I wish you could continue some work around it. Art is also very good and this old gameboy vibe fits very well! Great Job!
At the first sight this might seem to be missing something, but if you'll thing about it again it is not. The mechanisms of each genre are done in very good way and it combines the addiction to stick with it as well as 'match 3' & 'idle clicker' do. Good Work, sir! I would love to see some expansion, perhaps with some moody music. I also think you have prepared interesting background for some story telling. Energy generation along with some artifact sounds cool. At least for me :)
So far perhaps one of the hardest things I have found among the entries. It would be great if the would build up on the difficulty, or perhaps I just suck :-D Or perhaps it is intended, and in that case, everything is ok. Really like the art style with minimalistic sounds. Great job!
This was really nice. What a unique way to create a game! I was really impressed how you managed to do this. I was only trying to make some noise to my mic, but it would be cool to try it with some actual instrument (I'm a drummer myself :)) Great entry!
Thank you all (@mintarcade , @Hanra , @LERPish , @siduslevis , @TIMOTHEUS-25 , @loonydrope , @Dixonary , @Iluvatar ) for comments, we really appreciate your feedback. And will try to leave our feedback with your entries as well (big plans for weekend :)).
@jaime-paz-lopes truth is that Jin's line is bit buggy as we didn't have more time to queue the cars properly. However Jang was actually designed that way. We needed to distinguish the 'meditation' line from the 'stress' line. Hence we did not implement any other 'button' that would change between the characters and player shouldn't really rush as Jin, because if he do, Jang will get punished as you mentioned :)
@Lacre more levels are intended already, we just needed to get back to our day-jobs now :-D but hopefully we will be able to get back to this in fore-seeable future
Thank you guys for your feedback @amras0000 , @ctran13 and special thanks to @pickens-inc for taking his time and streaming our game on his channel.
We are taking notes from the feedback and already preparing some polishing, updates and upgrades. Once again thank you ALL for playing our little game. @amras0000 back to your immense feedback :) Jin truly is someone special and we had to change his gameplay(and also his nature) from Jang somehow. Jin's idle state is 'meditation' and you are right that he is back in his uniform within a single frame. That is intended as we wanted to make an impression of a calm person. That is why he can change in a single frame as his calmness is more of a state of mind rather than physical appearance. Jin going back to his station automatically is also part of that 'calm' experience. So basically as Jin, you don't have to worry about anything, traffic, being run over or getting back on time. You just need to handover the package. He is also significantly slower than Jang. Jang on the other hand is the 'hasty' one. He is constantly rushing and that is causing him stress. That is why we wanted to extend this and Jang needs to overcome more obstacles and even come back. - as you and many others mention, the hitboxes need to be improoved along with some other objects on map (cars, buildings). We will also 'close' the map, so you can't get out of the screen, or to the line of your co-worker. - music loop will be also changed as we did not anticipate that someone would play for one character that long (as we tried to design the level to be switching quite quickly and often between Jin & Jang) I Hope I have covered everything, but in case you would have some other questions/suggestions or comments, please share that with us. :)
We really do appreciate all the feedbacks. Many thanks for that!
@croewens Thanks a lot for your feedback! :) To your thoughts: - the car stacking needs to be re-done as we wanted queue instead. Bud they will never hit you, that is intended - we wanted different vehicles but since this was my first time doing isometric graphics, we did not have enough time to create more - I believe you meant Jang got under car very often and that is also intended, as that should be a challenging part of our game - You are not the first one that is telling us about the Trees blocking the vision. To be honest we didn't have time yet to discuss the changes here, but on the day of release we were satisfied with current look (after all Jang's line should be stressing :)) We definitely want to continue our work on this peace, add some more levels, little story and few more things for sure.
Thanks a lot for your time with our game ;)
Hello everyone, we had finally some time and did some updates on our game. Thanks you all for great feedback and we hope that the experience from our little game will be bit better now.
Thank you so much for the feedback guys! You are amazing! @Richard-N-Silva , @Ben-Hopkins , @pogo , @Gaming-Night , @fashionbatman , @Human , @Toulou , @mahdi-daneshvar ,
@Linus great to hear that you have enjoyed our game. You are right about the consequences, right now you'll get just a minor time penalty, but this is definitely on our list, what we want to add. But since some penalization would a be quite a great new feature, we want to take time to thing this through
@Flaterectomy , @gentel Thanks for your feedback and we will thing about changing the scale, and since we want to polish the details of each object soon it might nice. But overall we need to be careful about the scaling as I am afraid it might change the whole gameplay since player wouldn't be able to see the whole 'map'. But we'll see about that ;)
@gafblizzard that is great score. If you would like to chalange us with your score, to this day the high score is 14 delivered boxes ;) Feel free to beat us :) beat this.png
@dp3rucha in recent update, we have changed the handover area a bit. It is now more 'spacy', so the trees should not cover your character anymore ;)
@EdwinGameDev you can check our new update, where we polished some things a little ;) Thanks for the feedback!
@Paul-Avallone Thank you for the comments. We have already changed the collisions and walking off map and on the top of the roof :) Jin can still walk thru the cars but this is the part of that zen experience (but we'll fix that as well :)). All the indicators about time, delivered boxes, deaths etc... will be also implemented in the future, the only thing we are missing now, is the TIME :)
@gonutz really don't know what went wrong here :) All the details should be in the game description ;) The truth is that the problems you mention (walking off the map, SPACE restarting the game, walking on the roof) are there. We have fix those just yesterday. I am bit confused that you did not know how to control our game since all that info is really in the game description :) But basically all you need are just the arrows (and mouse in menu). You are starting as Jin (the guy on the right side), you go to pick up the box (no need to press anything) and that you go across the street to the place where the other guy is staying (that would be Jang), once you are there the box will be handed over (again no need to press anything) and you will now control Jang and he needs to deliver the box across the road and get back. That is it :)
We have just today released a new update of our game, that is fixing most of the things that you guys mention in your feedback. So now you can go and check that out here : https://jin9310.itch.io/jinjangdeli . Since there are lot of changes we will keep the original version of the game also available. Thank you all for your support! And have a great day! :)
@cristiano-m-garcia Thanks a lot for your feedback. The theme come in the transition between the Calmness of Jin (right side) and the Stressfulness of Jang (left side of the road). And we are already planning to continue with this project, we have first update done and more to come ;) I also played your entry and left you a comment ;) Cheers
@IndieManiaC thanks for playing our game. The place in the middle is actually intended to work the way it works now. I fully understand your point and it is true that you can be ran over basically instantly. But try to understand our vision as well. If we'll make the hand area wider, it will be easier to player to deal with the traffic. Same thing would happen if you would be forced to press any button to hand-over the package. The stress and frustration would be gone. And we don't want that. We want to show you how big difference is between 'meditative' state and 'stress' state. The gap is huge. And if player will ignore this difference, he will get hurt and will drop dead in a second. But if the player tries to understand the different behavior and will try to find the balance between those 2 different states, he can actually thrive on this and get perfect result. That was our idea, how to show you guys, our approach to 2 incompatible genres. :)
It almost looks like that you had an idea for different Theme :) But this turned out very well. Very interesting mechanics, I would only add some more sounds as right know the music creates bit frustrating and scary mood (which is good on one hand, but on the other hand it feels bit like broken record, but if intended to express the mood, I am totally ok with that). Really cool Entry, would love to see some after-jam extended version :)
@MZA I have played only web version, will try the update as well if I'll have some spare time today ;)
This is nice entry. Really like the idea of 'Fog of war' along with fine Art. Also tried to cheat a little by shooting across the whole map and I am glad that it was't possible to beat the game this way :) Good job.
Hilarious! Really enjoyed your game, but when I saw 'Darock' I was done :D Oh yeah, and not to forget, Love the ART. Great Entry! Thanks a lot!
This is one funny and original game. Really like the mood around and the idea is truly cool. I would just adjust the combat technique, but overall very good job!
Terrific! Great combination and great idea... I really love every aspect of your game. You are the overall winner for me. Great Job!
Really like the art and animation done on this peace. Thanks for very unusual experience :)
Awesome entry. Really cool concept and mechanics and I think that your attempt to make co-op singleplayer game went very well. I would love to see this expanded (more levels, sounds, graphics, puzzles, story), but with the content you have right now, you should be more than satisfied as it works and feels complete. Great job!
To be honest, if you say 'Pop culture viral comedy' I say 'Horror' :-D I think that those 2 genres perfectly fit :-D Seriously, I like you idea a lot. The sound works really well and is trying build tense atmosphere. I would love to be scared, but perhaps I have seen much or memes didn't really hit me :) Overal this is very solid entry. Good job
VEry sweet entry. Just too shame that it is that short. Love whole mood of the game and especially the domination part!! :-D Great Job!
Perfect combination and really creative concept. I have really enjoyed this game, however it can be very hard :) And it seemed to me that you can easily run to the 'dead end' and you need to restart the game. But as in solitaire, this can happen. Love it :) Great job, great fun
Ok, now after work, this was very handy and I was able to forget about everything and just enjoy it. Thanks a lot! Sound and Art transitions between the kills are very well handled and I really like the smooth going atmosphere from menu all the way to the first kill. Found the easter egg and love the change of the title :-D Great Job!
Very solid entry. Really like the last part when you need to fillet the fish :) However it is not easy to get those stars. Good job
@Oivin-f Yeah, well what can I say, I had a great time and kind a lost in time while playing :) About that floating towers, not sure if this can happen earlier in your game or only later (because once you have more coins on the screen it can gat laggy later on). If you want to replicate that bug, try this: 1 - build a tower 2 - get lots of coins 3 - staand by tower and hold X to upgrade her while new wave is coming. What happens is that enemies will sort of push you away while passing around you (but I'm sure you know that :-D) and if you are holding X while being pushed, it can build this floating tower (almost like you could build a tower on the top of another tower). Hope my description is bit clear :-D But once again I had really great time with your game ;) Great job
Really love the graphics on this one. You did a really good job. Although its is quite hard and takes player to get to used to the needs of the dog, it comes up as well combined and balanced game. Good job!
ps. sometimes after restart I have lost the dog for some reason, so the game ended quite soon as I was not able to feed anyone. Happened to me like 2 times across 10 attempts. Have you experienced this as well?
Very nice idea and calm experience. I personally believe that there should be more hugs in the world :) And I am glad that no computer was harmed and I believe your cheeseburgers were not the only cheeseburgers that were 'sacrified' :) Good Job
Great entry and I absolutely love the way you used simple colors with simple beat to create such complete game. Just great!
Really fresh idea (eventhough I am not sure if you can say this about Zombie game :)) Funny and fast paced. The only thing I was missing was some restart button after I fail (or did I miss something?). Great entry, good job ;)
This is really some piece of work! I myself have an idea of a game with zeppelins and all this balloon stuff, but this fast paced/non forgiving thing really got me. I can't compare to the high scores here in comments. YET!! :) Great Job, Great music, Love the ART. Thanks!!
The Idea is very nice and it is a very nice entry! Really good job
Really smart. I like those kinds of games where the mechanism keeps you on the edge and every mistake builds up the pressure. The sound fits well this zombie math-o-calypse. I think that you could even expand this idea further with more levels and perhaps with little story, anyway I enjoyed this one a lot and will definitely get back to it again. Good job ;)
Really like the idea and always wanted to try some typing game. The art you use plays well with the mood and I like that. There is just one thing you might consider changing/fixing and that is the part when you'll get the key. When you'll get the key, you will head back thru the corridor, however you can actually go back to the corner again (where the key was before) and if you do that you'll get stuck and there is no way you can continue as there are no letters to type. I know that this is not a behaviour you would expect someone would do, but it can happen :) You did a Good job!
Really cool idea and takes time to master both hands to get the high scores. Good job!
This was fun. Really nice combination... perhaps if you would consider change the whole thing on keyboard so you don't have to have mouse in your hand, would be a nice touch. But it is still really nice entry. Good job!
Cool concept and the idea of stealth and rhythm is combined very well. Truth is that the beat could be better to the rhythm, but still it isn't something disturbing. Art is decent and plays really well with the mood of the music, perfect combination, if you ask me. The wolf reminds me (for some reason) a Wildly Coyote character from Looney Tunes :-D Great Job!
Although I am not a football fan, I had to try this and boy it was fun to play. Really like the moment when you score the goal :) Truth is that you might consider to add some 'shouts' telling the player that now he can try to score or something. But I know that the time pressure is way to big during the jam (we are also missing a lot of things) but overall this is very good entry. Great job and I hope you'll do some extensions :) Cheers
Quite nice game you did here. It is fun and quite fast paced. Like the art style but missing some sounds. Overall nice entry. Good job! ;)
@Gavin-Camlin exactly, no music ;)
The music sets really nice easy going mood and I really like that. The game might need some polishing, but the idea is quite interesting. Good job
Very nice entry. First run was quite challenging to be honest, but as I see some good times here in comments I might try to beat them as well :) Good job overall very good idea.
I had a little problem to get used to the controls but after while I almost mastered it. A solid entry and definitely interesting and original concept you got here. Like it. Good job
This is crazy! And I like it. Really interesting concept and can imagine that with some more work you could have very solid core for something way bigger. Great Job!
Art style is very strong with this one. Great job, it was fun :)
REally cool stuff :) Really made my day. Great Job guys!
This is the funniest thing I have seen so far! I couldn't stop laughing. Hilarious guys! THank you! Great job
Really nice way how to approach and change classic 'Snake' game. Good job
Was confused at first sight, but I got into it pretty quickly. Most confusions caused that 'space' for rolling dice, as I don't really know what this should do. After I found out that I can shoot without rolling, I was unstoppable :) Would be great if you could add some more content, as it will get repetitive quite soon (but we have the same problem with our game ;)). Overall Great Job!
This can be challenging first, but especially with controller you can master this quite quickly. I can imagine that the game can be considered hard, by some players. I personally would change only one thing. Once you fall, I would restart the progress, and I mean that player would need to complete his CONE again from scratch. This would add some additional challenge. But that's just me :) Great entry.
Really cool entry and fairly challenging. Really interesting combination. Can imagine that you could build up something very interesting ;) Grat job
Simply amazing. I love the idea of revealing the level with jump and walking, I would maybe even consider to show bit less to emphesize that mechanic, but that could lead into some unwanted balancing issues. Overall I really enjoyed this one. It is short, clear, someone might already said that, but my instructions got into some infinite loop after reading :D but that is barelly a complaint. Really nice and inovattive game! Great job
Very relaxing and honestly quite addictive since i just couldnt stop exploring. So cool to see that the objects have some gravity fields and such. Really lovely, great job
Oh man do I just love these... these stories you make for the jams have always someting special and I really much enjoy going thru your little game jam stories. I like the take on the theme where lighthouse is quite strong representation of a signal and the story with your voice acting is great (although I totally understand that you would underestimate your performance). But trust me, it was great to sit back, without any need to read the captions and enjoy the story only by listening, which is huge for a solo game jam entry. Do I even need to mention the pixelart. Well ofcourse! Truth to be told I am always impressed with your dithering and sence for lighting the scene. Also the palette gives the game that chilly misterious vibe. Great job David!
Ahoj Jirko :) I am yet again impressed how polished and sofisticated your entries are. This one got my brain going and the last puzzle took me longer than it should (but I just woke up :D). Anyway really nice idea and I love how you were able to have "no music" but still have a music. Really cool! Great job done mateScreenshot_2.png
@aweskybear well, our dog got this bad sickness last thursday, so we took care of her since and thru out all weekend, hence I am bit influenced by that. Also that is why I had so little time, I was even considering not doing any game, but it took my mind off of it and it was nice to focus on something else for a while
Thank you all for reactions! @sthor726 @manabreak @nathmate @fredrik-andersson @jk5000 and to you Jirko @jiri-hysek
The game is actually very simple, the hardest part was to make the game replication to all of the screens and do the right positioning and scaling. The rest is really trivial platformer :D Also I have an experience with CRT shaders from the past, so that part was also quite fast :) And really this was like the first jam where I successfully did not overscope ! Yay!! :D great feeling
@iluvatar Thank you David! I just wish there was more time for art, but I managed to add all that I wanted at least :)
@alex-de-la-cour Thank you for such a kind words Alex! @colisan You are totally right, but I find that I have problem with making a double-jump and moving platforms. Need to look into that, but it might also be with the fact, that I had no time to implement some buffers or coyotees :/ Thanks for playing and great score!!
@technicalitycreations Thank you, agree with that leaderboard system, I usually add these into my games, but the scope and time here was really tight for me... sorry about the mixels... they could appear due to different sizes of the screens and applyed shaders :/
@johnnysix Thx mate! :)
@aweskybear Thank you! Well glad you read those instructions, I had this "cool" idea to have tutorial in the main menu displayed on the screens (and that you could even move with the character to try it) but had to cut it :D
So cool, the music gives it that arcadish retro vibe, I love it :) Interesting take on the theme and honestly spor those signals can be quite tricky :D One thing that I would consider for change is that you allow player to move in more lanes than you display. I thougt that I can have only 3 lines, but it is more and that surpriced me... but that is barelly a complaint :) great job!! Screenshot_4.png
When I was thinking what to do for this theme, a junction with traffic light came to my mind... I did something completelly different at the end, but I am certain that it would be nothing as funny and inovative as your game! Totally in love with it, had a blast and although I was not able to finish it yet (it is pretty late and the day was long) I will definitelly come back later, to kill all these zombies. REally nothing to add, had a blast. Thank you for making this! Great job!
damn this is hard :D I was not able to get pass the 2 zombies, but I tried just for about 5 minutes and want to revisit later on. Your art is amazing (as always) and for me personaly that could the one thing why I want to get back to it :) But I am also very curious in the rest of the game and I wanted to drop the comment already since I think you did amazing job!
@alex-de-la-cour yeah I just needed bit more time, but was able to finish it. It is still pretty hard and have to agree that with controller it feels way better :) Also I have encountered strange bug, where I was not able to kill the second zombie at all. I have a video of my whole gameplay if you want to see it. Look at timestamp abour 10:00 where the bug happens :D https://youtu.be/OAf0E6B2u1I And dont get me wrong, it took me a while to finish, but I really like these kind of challenges because I know that my failure is like 90% caused by my lack of focus. Great job done mate! Had a blast with your game
@alex-de-la-cour there were 2 most frustrating points... when I was finally able to almost kill both zombies but the second one was bugged and invicible and second when I finished the last level, but there was that last enemy behind the fire... that was pure evil! :D
actually pretty nice idea and take on the theme. I can totally see this could have a potential to make some more fun with these signals, but totally understand that you just cant do everything during the jams timeframe. Cool stuff though, really solid entry! good job
This is so inovative! Really cool take on the theme and exactly type of game that hooks me for unreasonable amount of time :D Great job, really not much else to say
This is amazing. Very nice take on the theme. I am gonna be honest, I have enjoyed the game, well lets say first 2 levels, but I was not brave enough to go further, but that is mainly caused by todays headacke and I dont want to tease my brain any more today :) But very cool, I will definitelly revisit this one. Great job
Ok, I feel like this have a potential to be a really fun thing and I think that in terms of the jam you did a good job here. Truth is that the take on the theme is not the most inovative one, but that is barelly a complaint. As a corporate worker myself I can only relate to the zombies following you across the premises ... I just wish I could throw some chairs on them as well :D Good job done! Had fun and also... was able to make it out just in time :)
Truly nice experience. I have no idea how to unlock or play side b or other difficulty levels, but even if those were just placeholders it is ok! I would also love if the "signals" were matching the beat, as sometimes I felt it does, but sometimes not... might be as well issue of the web export. But this is barelly a complaint. I had fun with your game, lovely take on the theme. Good job
