I love this Game!! but there are some glitches.. Such as colliders in random locations and when in ship, pressing the space key

This game is AMAZING!!!!! I don't see any bugs what so ever. I really want to help you out and give you a million five-star reviews but I cant :(
Game looks really fun but it should be an HTML 5 game
I love the doom theme to this game. Keep it up!
this is a great game!!!!!
Lots of scrolling to comment! Nice game though!!!!
Nice game amazing in every category!!! please play my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/crazy-power-rush
Hey still great game and i fixed my link if you wanna check it out
I really like this game!!! although if you added some more monsters that would be great!!!!
Awesome game with amazing graphics and audio!!! Way to Go!
This is a really well thought out Game! Congrats! Please checkout my game at: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/crazy-power-rush
I like this game for how it is at the moment!!! please check out mine!!!! (https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/crazy-power-rush)
pretty fun and funny game, nice work! Please rate my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/crazy-power-rush
pretty good game with a cool multiplayer idea, but you have to rate other peoples games! also it says html 5 web but it is a download you can change that by checking run in browser on itch...
I really liked the game... but not the fact that you have to play on mac, but still REALLY FUN!!! Please play my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/crazy-power-rush
Interesting concept... I like it, it's very fun and has interesting controls. Please play my game at (https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/crazy-power-rush)
this is a funny, fun game! nice work.
Hey I really like this game! Nice work, although you might wanna actually relate the game a little bit more to power (just a tad!) but A REALLY GOOD GAME!!! please rate mine at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/crazy-power-rush but your game was very well made
Incredible! graphics are great, game play is enjoyable. But since you always have to move shooting is hard even when aiming do too his hilarious wobble. Please play my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/rush-hour
Super cool. really interesting. I found myself killing fans because they kept getting in my way! but the more you have, the worse it is!
This is a really fun game! personally i found staying in the top left corner in the 1st level enabled you to not need to move until the very end. I really liked the bosses! All were unique and interesting. Though My personal preference would be to slow down the speed of the player. Please play my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/rush-hour
Nice game. A bit confused as to how this relates to the more you have the worse it is. I dont know if the game gets harder the more money you have, probably I was just bad:)
I like it! simple mechanics, nice simple art style. But I need more upgrades! advanced turrets would be fun and spice up the game play. Please play and rate my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/crazy-power-rush
Awesome game! great graphics and audio. really laughed at the "I think he's gotta pee or something" part! I would add some more interactions to make everything more crowded. I'm impressed for 72 hours!
I loved this game. Fun but so so sad. Kind of happy. The mother always wanted to be in a nicer place, and she got her final wish. Great game play but the jump is kind of delayed. INCREDIBLE! Please leave me feedback on my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/rush-hour
Neat! fun game play and hilarious sound effects. Awesome what you did with the silhouettes. Feel free to play and rate my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/rush-hour
A bit confusing to figure out without a start screen or even a basic on screen tutorial. But pretty interesting after I figured it out! I loved stacking the boxes and good simple graphics. please play my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/rush-hour
Cool game play I did not understand how to move at first, but got the hang of it after a while. I would add a tutorial or just a simple set of instructions though. Please feel free to play my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/rush-hour
R2D48 that is a rendering glitch on second level, strange it does not happen on first though. will fix it soon
Stom i tried webGL but the game is a little too performance heavy do to the post processing and light maps. If you would like to play it, it is a very small file and a fairly good installer wizard I included.
@jack-maxwell thank you. I was unaware of these rules and will make sure I show clearly the second version and that I added to it.
@shinyogre There will be! But over the weekend.
Great game, classic retro art. the font was not a great choice though. not pixelated enough! Great all around but I recommend adding bosses.
Very cool, good audio and graphics! I would add some rocks that the car has to bump over to spice up the gameplay but overall pretty fun! Please play mine at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/rush-hour
Pretty Neat! the game was pretty addictive when you were in the groove. an ability I would add to make the game more dynamic would be crouching or charged jumps. The game doesn't really fit the theme except for a pun where you are actually "running out of space"

@kippllo weird, not for me. try refreshing it or closing out and redoing it. Capture.PNG
@lastleaf thanks!
@andrew-friedman @memel06 @kippllo I will put a compressed zip folder of the game so you can unzip and play it. I will look into this problem. I wonder what it could be since the main menu seems to load for everyone.
@andrew-friedman I am wondering, I have an nvidia card do you have integrated graphics or amd. I am thinking the error is the post processing. I can add a toggle but I need someone to help test it
@andrew-friedman @kippllo @memel06 I think I got it. Dithering! Dithering was on. I turned it off just need to update it. I had two post processing profiles and one had dithering. I hope this fixes it.
@vivek-sharma20 There is audio... Were you in silent?
Nice little parkour game. Mechanics are very smooth especially wall jumping. Its so frustrating when you think you are going to make it and you get "he ded" on your screen. My one gripe is the theme. There should be A LOT of cakes at the beginning levels, and then they diminish. All in all great work!
Really cool game. Gets really hectic an I love it! I like all the little details you put in the game like the password sticky note :) Please check out my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/ouch
Puzzles were challenging and so fun. I loved the story and the music was really fitting! This game has so much potential. Feel free to play and rate my game if you like at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/ouch
I'm getting a 404 error when I click on your link. I would love to play this game but I can't. If you get the link working feel free to tell me and i'll review it! Check out my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/ouch
Graphics, story, enemies, controls, you knocked all those aspects out of the park. However, variety is where you lacked. I like the base attack move, but a dash move where you zip through an enemy or a fireball dealing less damage that the melee but long ranged would also work great. I also think having multiple enemies spawn at once would really spice up the game so I would have to adjust my strategy. Other than that, great game!
Really innovative! I loved the music, the game play, and everything felt polished. I would like to see some post-processing and some particle systems to improve the looks, but other that everything was great!
This an incredible game for a game jam! The only thing I would change is adding some camera shake on attacks. The user likes to feel powerful. Some post processing and bloom would make everything pop aswell
Played this for a while, I have to say I might be addicted! This game is really well designed, the only thing I would tweak is the visuals. I would add a glow around letters I can play so that I don't need to search for them. I also think the buttons should have a nicer style so that it fits better with the aesthetic. Other than that, great game!
@baktillus I think some of the biggest issues come from the player's connection to the rope. It doesn't freely move around him which is still something I am trying to figure out. I also am planning on increasing the rotating speed to really make it a faster paced game. Thank you for playing it!
@manimal of course something seemed to be wrong when I tried to upload it, but ill look into it!
Nice platformer! the controls feel nice and the dash has nice effects. I would like to see a dash which is multi-directional so it can mix up the game though. I also think restarting almost the whole level because of one little mistake just became unfair after a while. Despite this, cool entry!
HOW IS THIS GAME A JAM GAME? The level of polish is absurd and the graphics are stellar. I honestly don't have any complaints, except for the fact that I hate clowns as well!
Super cool game! I loved the idea of getting more and more upgrades. I would like to see the standard running speed increased as right now it felt a little tedious when running. Other than that, great entry!
Great game with incredible graphics and unique idea. I wish there was an option to aim with the mouse or joystick, but I guess that adds to the challenge.
Time restrictions can be a pain. However, I think you should have focused on enemies before sound effects and etc. Even something as simple as spikes could mix up the platforming elements. Other than that, everything felt extremely polished, well done!
Really cool game, really funny too! Though I am not sure if I completed the game. I gave the toy to the child but when I talk to anyone else there is no new dialogue. Perhaps make the ending a little clearer?
Hidden gem of this jam! Mechanics felt very well polished. However, I would like to see a bigger change of scenery in the levels to make it feel like I am making progress.
I like it alot its really fun. Just some quality of life issues. My mind instantly wanted to hit space to start and stop the level so I dont need to move my mouse. I also wanted to drage the items instantly from the boxes to the level, but I had to click to create it then drag it in. Other than that a really good game!
I love the feel of it its snappy and quick!
Really neat game! I found my previous game experience very helpful in hoarding the enemies. However, I would alternate the spawn point as It felt like I wasn't able to even go in to the top left corner. Other than that, a great entry!
Almost everything about the game is incredibly done. I think the lighting could be a little more atmospheric(flood lights maybe should have a blue and grainy tint?) but all in all good work. I would love to see an upgrade panel if you decide to keep working on it.
Concept and idea is nice. I assume you used unity in which I understand why the pixel art is so blurry. When you import pixel art, disable anti alias in the spirte setting or else you will get blurry edges. I liked the way you encounter things but it requires different body parts to actually access. However, some of the minigames were just unfair. The foot one where you have to get ALL 10 to pass was nearly impossible until I found you could just mash WASD to win.
@vernalbehemoth weird, that is the first time I am hearing about a glitch like that. Probably has something to do with the rigidbody. I plan on continuing to work on the game post jam release, and creating enemies that launch projectiles and such. I have never had good taste in the creation of music, so I opted out this jam due to lack of time. Thanks for playing!
gameplay is so smooth, and the amount of levels is astonishing. This game has so much replayability as there is almost an endless amount of solutions to each level. The rate at which new content and mechanics are introduced is well paced. Something to improve would definitely be the graphics. While the art style is cute, some nicer sprites would push the game the extra mile. Over all, great entry!
download isnt working, game looks really fun but I cannot seem to download and play
Hey, keeping my end of the bargain, I played your game. I really liked it! the gameplay was easy to understand and I found myself mixing up my strategies to try and get the longest time. the visuals were great and I loved the physics based enemies and health! if you plan on working on this game, some more enemy diversity would be nice as well as a slightly larger level. Other than that, great work!
really fun game, I liked the whole premise of escorting a payload. the variety of enemies was really neat in that I had to change up my play style when certain ones spawned. Something that is always difficult to do in a jam is balancing the difficulty of a game. On my first run, I picked up the large cannon that shot heavy damaging balls. I thought this was the best one because of the damage output, but then realized I could use the rapid fire gun and just circle the car since bullets did not go through it. Regardless the visual style is really pretty and it is not often I see a high quality start menu. Nice Job! P.S. Im also not at 20 rating yet so if you could help me out that would be great: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/exterminators
Really neat little game! I did not realize a game with this kind of polish could have so little ratings. The music is excellent and I love how it speeds up and gets distorted when you lose, the visuals are simple but clean. While a lack of diversity in the level is definitely noticeable, that is not a necessity. If you want to get 20 ratings, review A TON of games and post your link in their comments. You can also create posts on the page and a lot of people will play your games.
So glad I did the review for review, because very rarely do I find a funny game on Ludum dare. the story telling was great and the narration made me laugh so many times. i know this is a text based game, but more appealing visuals would go the final mile to make this a "Ludum dare masterpiece." highlighting key words and changing the font so it doesn't look like an English essay would help(a little mean but the rest of the game is incredible). this is probably one of my favorite entries, thanks for letting me play it!
I say this fully unjokingly, can I get access to the menu soundtrack? So peaceful. The gameplay is really calming and it was satisfying to lure the enemies to the water to watch them explode. I did not understand the point of the (tutorial?) menu where you had to press B to start. I feel like that could be dealt with in tutorial menu rather than a whole empty level. Regardless, the art style was really pretty and everything felt so smooth. If you were to expand on the game, I would add an indicator as to where water is, and make it so you HAVE to place don the plant on the water to keep it alive, to up the difficulty. Anyway, the soundtrack was perfect and the visuals and gameplay as well!
hey, keeping up my end of the bargain! thanks for playing Exterminators. This game feels amazingly polished from head to toe. there quite frankly is not a flaw in the game. I like the idea where the same thing that kills you, also helps you spawn more. Im assuming each turnip had a random movement speed which made it really crazy in a good way. Something that I think a lot of games suffer from in a jam is replayability. That's something difficult to capture since you have such a short period of time, but an idea I had would to make one section of the level dangerous from the ground. So it actually encourages grouping them up, but spreading them in between other rounds. Anyway, really nice work!
Simple, but super polished and pretty fun gameplay. The visuals are great, maybe simple sound effects for different problems would work well but I understand the difficulty in adding audio. Dialogue was charming as well. My one suggestions would be to add some way to play for longer. I feel like no matter what, I will always die at the same time. Regardless, really solid entry and happy birthday!
Amazing polish, I am really surprised this game only has 10 ratings. Submit it to some streams, post about it! The visuals are really nice. It seemed a little too hard to jump with food, but fun gameplay regardless. There is a typo in the control page, and you forgot to include that you could sprint! Overall great game, needs more publicity.
Really nice physics, this game was hilarious and fun to play. My score was around 780? I was very confused after finishing the first level as it just had me replay the level again. There wasn't really an indication I had to click the buttons to change levels. Maybe arrows for back a level and forward? As well, slightly changing the color of the skybox and dirt for each level would really help each level feel different, even if there are no sprite swaps. 5 star audio!
This game just has an amazing polish and feel to it. Reminds me of an old flash game on cool math games. Artwork is great. My only suggestions(as tiny as they are) would be to hide the tear bar behind the tube so it looks better and implement a fast forward function or just a faster mode for the simon says aspect. I have the first few memorized, eventually it just becomes tedious. Overall, excellent work!
Got a chance to play your game. The sheer amount of content is very impressive. Good sound design and well balanced objectives. The timers on normal mode felt very impeding. The hardest part I found is placing the first few buildings, and starting off felt like a little too big of a difficulty curve. The gameplay is very enjoyable, however, and I was able to get nearly 23 tasks on zen before retiring. Visuals leave much to be desired, just going with unlit or simple lit materials would vastly improve the visuals. Post processing would do wonders as well. Well done.
Proud to be your 20th rating! Great visuals, neat gameplay, was very confused at first but the tutorial helped me out. I wish I could know what keys I was pressing when I pressed multiple at once; it only highlights one of them. Add some better feedback and you have a killer game!
Really fun game. All the art looks great. I'm surprised you opted out of sound with the audio quality. The only complaint I had with the game is that there is no invincibility after getting hit. Often times I would take 2 hits of damage for crashing into an enemy and getting shot by them, which made getting laughed at all the more frustrating. Overall, good work!
Good soundtrack and amazing opening sequence. The 2nd room of the first area confused me, and I essentially had to guess my way out. The connecting lines have no indication of what the correct pattern should be. Some writing in the description or a longer tutorial video would be nice!
Seeing as this game has the most ratings, obviously you did something right. The game is really great. Some games just feel good to play, and this is one of them. I wish you would go into more depth with the ground pound mechanic; level 10 was my personal favorite as I had to use the ground pound jump. Aim assist would be nice as the game is less about accuracy and more about timing/puzzle solving. The skybox got a bit jarring, especially on the climbing levels. And a small complaint, but those squashed textures on the sides of platforms bugs me. Overall, one of the best entries I've played!
Great post processing and animations. I would like to see more variety in the scenery. I get that it's a subway, but just having orange rectangles to jump over is a little dull, especially considering that awesome lightning effect. There is also no increase in difficulty, you essentially do the same thing over and over until you mess up. Maybe make the lightning recharges get rarer the further down the subway you are? Overall, impressive visuals and solid gameplay.
The post processing and minimalistic visuals are really nice. I have a few small suggestions. First, get some pictures of your game! nobody will see it or know what they are downloading if there are no images. Use the snipping tool on windows and just take screenshots of play mode in your game engine editor. Second, this game is ridiculously hard. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but the enemy spawns maybe 30 projectiles a second. I could only pass the first two levels. My player also moves very slowly. Try speeding up the player, giving the enemies more health, and making them attack slower and less. Overall, good visuals and sound, a little too difficult.
Super unique concept, and controls work surprisingly well. A couple complaints. A lot of the dots tend to be on the edge. Early on it makes the game far too challenging. As well, There is no punishment for NOT going after the dots. If I wanted to I could prop my phone up at an angle and it would continue to go in circles and earn points forever(provided my speed was low enough). Obstacles as well as making the dots larger would incentivize collecting them. Regardless, really interesting mechanic!
Really nice visuals. Never heard of defold, I will have to check it out. When mixing 2d and 3d visuals, depth perception becomes an issue. I frequently lost track of the pirate when jumping(not having WASD made it even more annoying). Maybe a shadow underneath the pirates feet would help to show where on the scene you actually are. There is a major bug in your game, or at least I think it's a bug. You can hold the jump key and simply jump across the water. You can basically ignore all of the puzzles of the game when you can hop across the water. Other than that, the visuals are great and the puzzle/platformer is really unique, great first jam game.
Hey, I got a chance to play your game! Really, really good. The pixel art combines with quality lighting effects makes for some great visuals. Sound was nice, but the volume control would be great. The alarm would continue to play even when I was playing a mini-game, which made me think more than one things were going off. I only have a few small suggestions. On the copy mini-game, a light gray line to trace would be nice, and sometimes I would have a terrible drawing and pass, while have a great drawing a pixel off and fail. It would also be nice to know which mini game I am going to play, some are quicker than others. Good entry!
Got a chance to play your game! The polish is beautiful, real nice work on the pixel art and animations. I heavily question your control scheme choice. I use a 60% keyboard so holding the function key, using WASD, and pressing z to jump felt like playing twister. Really the only feedback I can give is to speed up the level transition; when you have levels where pressing restart is essential, it gets annoying to wait 4-5 seconds every time. As well, something like coyote time on the jumps would make the game far more forgiving. If the game is ever expanded on I would hope to see more use of the fast forward/slow motion. I only got each once and neither really had an effect on my gameplay. Overall, super impressive polish and very solid gameplay.
beautiful and perfect in everything it sets out to be. I would like to see more video-game elements to it, as the only real progression you get is the orbit growing bigger. A sort of upgrade system based on the colors(the more red you collect, the faster you become; the more green you collect, the better particles stay attached). Great physics and cool visuals!
Really great entry. Quality visuals, very innovative gameplay, and nice music. If I had to give feedback it would be to either remove the lava, or slow down it's climb. Since this game is intended for speedrunning, the lava really only affects new players. As well, I found it pretty frustrating not knowing what was next. A tetris like system would work well. Seeing the next move in your belt, and maybe even being able to swap? In all, really nice job.
@mopifish this is WELL above and beyond I ever expected, but almost something I want framed on my wall. You rock. As for your critiques, all were insightful. I planned on adding a dash attack where you intentionally dashed towards a hoard of enemies, and the amount you killed would add bullets back into your gun, but it ended up being a little too much to take on. The lasers that float around and the rock that falls were supposed to be animated as coming from the boss, where he would have a floating hand to throw a rock and the laser would come out of his eye, but as well it was too much for me. Looking back I should have entered the jam not the compo and actually polished it up fully, but having practice in sacrifice is good too. I’ll be sure to check out your game and (try to)approach it with the same methodology you did. Thanks.
Genuinely amazing work! From sound design to visuals, this game is perfectly polished. The only real criticism I would have is the controls. My brain wants to think that holding space lowers the umbrella, and letting go raises it- but that's pretty much grasping at straws. Impressive stuff.
Feels like a flash game I used to play as a kid(in a good way). Super polished entry and the varying spells with achievements effectively keeps people playing. I love that you make the player complete a task to start. My only gripe is that wind was by far the best and forced kind of campy gameplay as opposed to the funny ones like fireball.
I got a chance to play your game! and pro-tip(not from a real pro): TAKE SCREENSHOTS! This game has great music, controls, a good variety of 3d-models, the works. I had no idea what to expect with a super long title and no images. My critiques:
shooting did pretty much nothing; on the round where I survived a minute I just stopped shooting and focused solely on avoiding, which I guess is the idea of a bullet hell but you should have impactful shooting!
While the music is good, there's only 2 small sound effects. This makes the guns feel weak and the character like a balloon, not the last hope humanity has
What happens after a minute? I just died on the spot. That would the perfect opportunity for a little explosion or cutscene(I understand that's hard in 48 hours)
The map confused me as the fire does no damage and the planes are the same model
Having to use the mouse to reset the game was a little annoying, bind this to a key!
All these changes can be made relatively quickly if you choose to pursue it further. Good work, good game, I believe in you!
really nice artwork! The controls are super easy to understand and its always great when games have visual aids like yours. The slowmo effect when the "bois" collide is the ribbon of the whole game. Some critiques from me(while small): Too difficult to control the white one, especially when the goal is up top weird texture overlap at the bottom of the screen, could be fixed by just putting the map level over top not really sure what is inevitable, digestion? could be conveyed better even with a little blurb in the description. Great entry!
Got a chance to play your game! A+ on the art and storytelling. I played on webgl and ended up stuck at the same part as others are(I imagine that is the end credit sequence). My only complaints are purely bugs: sometimes I can get stuck in a pit, I shouldn't have to use a cheat menu to get out of it The death causes lag that once lasted a minute for me, and the sound doesn't stop playing between scenes so you end up with a jarring noise you can see the edges of the map, which at times ruined the immersion
But regardless the atmosphere is truly incredible, anything problematic could be fixed over the course of the jam!
Extremely polished, well thought out entry. The tutorial is a great way to introduce the mechanics (and it's really funny). Kind of wish Balthazar was in the game a little more, reacting to your movements. Wins for this game are the visuals and sound effects. My critiques:
I ended up having a big pile of tools on my earth. This is entirely my fault, but it made the game very frustrating. Perhaps a scroll wheel of tools would be a good feature, or have tools automatically go back to a certain location.
Dialogue sometimes got stuck and I had to press skip instead of the arrow for next, missing out on that little pop sound effect
I wish more plants had better visual feedback for when they would regrow. On top of this, trees basically regrew instantaneously, which forced a certain playstyle
I want a bit more liveliness in the scenery! Like I said, add Balthazar outside of the tutorial!
Minor, but the gradient of green slowly taking over the world feels more like a visual glitch than intentional. Rather than different sprite try using a shader to get more control
Great entry overall!
Hey, got a chance to check out your game! The mechanics of looking for visual cues and remembering what to do translates very well with the single mouse controls. Like others said, the earth being inverted only on one axis is frustrating. To expand on the game, I would change the earth scrolling to a mechanic in its own right. Maybe something out of angry birds where you pull back the earth to launch it forwards, adding to the difficulty. Cool entry!
Very cool(ehhh?) game, I like that the first few are all close together to help you get the hang of it.
@jonah the right shift button behaves really weird for me too, try holding for a second and letting go quickly. If it doesn’t work, all good! I’ll check out your game soon.
@foggydude No, I get what you mean. I wanted the movement to be where the difficulty comes in, as the game with just a simple controller would feel too easy. I ended up making the movement easier a little before submission to the point where I could pretty much go on forever, but obviously that's because I made the game. I agree that the character does feel a little too slippery and hard to turn with.
@adecon I got a chance to look into the issue. In unity, I made the font large, which doesn’t scale like if I set the width large. I’ll definitely fix this in postjam. Thank you for bringing it up.
Very short game, but the graphics are very nice. Once I figured out how the pin worked, I was able to beat through it pretty quickly, I would love to see this expanded on!
Cool game! Seeing that weird pixel effect for the first time was so cool. Graphics and animations are nice, platform tile set is a little dry though. I wish there was more platforming variety, even if just some simple stuff. There was a rage element that kept me playing for a lot longer than expected-- nice entry.
Graphics are really great, along with sound. Gun feels really satisfying and all the effects are good. The core of this game is excellent; I don't have anything wrong with the fundamentals. I do feel it gets a tad repetitive, the difficulty curve might be a little low. Maybe if parts of the room catch on fire later in the game-- I don't know but something to fuel a new playstyle. great potential for a post jam, and great submission now!
Visual effects were great, tutorial was good too. I had a few suggestions:
I'm a sucker for flat coloring (my past 3-4 jams have been unlit), but I would suggest using a site like coolors to come up with a more cohesive color palette
Not having anything going on in the background kind of tripped me up when going over a lot of open space, something paralaxing when I'm making a long jump would be so helpful
I did feel a bit sluggish moving, which is fine, but maybe swap velocity right away when going backwards on ground?
Cool entry!
Knew I would like the game just from that gif of the little guy dancing. Music is excellent. Only gripe is that those first few moves became tedious when I had to restart once I had memorized/solved the puzzle step. If you ever continue further, maybe add a fast forward button through the parts already completed?
This game is obviously super impressive, the visuals, animations, and lighting are the star of the show. No feedback there, but a couple of things on the gameplay smoothness itself.
There is no hit effect, or at least I was never aware I was getting hit. A red indicator, screen effect, sound effect.
The energy drink was cool, but I feel like again there could be some sort of indicator of its effect.
There are no hit effects, which really surprised me. The shotgun animations and sound are so great, but with a fork or finger gun I cannot tell if I am hitting the enemy.
In terms of game balance, I think there were too many weapons that I couldn't do anything with. I would just wait it out until I got the shotgun or AR then push forward. Make the finger guns, forks, and grenades more worthwhile.
Overall, the game speaks for itself, really good entry.
Like @someone said(lol), the timer kind of ruined the flow of the game, especially when searching for the boss at the end. Also, you could prevent doors from being opened while in a battle so that way you don't accidentally leave the arena. Other than those complaints, the game was pretty fun! I don't really mind the music; it could be a little longer, but it works for the length of the game. Nice little bits of humor-- oversized game object is always funny. I never used anything other than the crossbow throughout my playthrough though. I like that you can still use every weapon throughout the game, it just weakens them. Cool game.
Super polished project. I feel like my first 2 matches were just kind of guesses as to what was going on, but pretty soon I got it. Really nice puzzle game. From screenshots I see the industry is supposed to place more factories, however, maybe through a bug, the industry placed tress for me. This resulted in me winning most of the time. I also almost never used the rotation tool, but definitely a cool mechanic. In a post jam I think the only thing this game needs would be a tutorial. Nice entry!
I didn't get a chance to deep dive in this game, but you're right! a lot of the dialogue is nicely written and has good humor. Coyote time is almost essential to platformers now though.
Controls feel excellent. Wish it was a little harder, or certain things to avoid in water or on land. Also, the parts took a few seconds to register before they collected. Overall, really funny and smooth.
Haha, this game is a lot like my own entry. Great minds think alike! It's a cool game, I died the first few times as I didn't know the tan knob was my hand- it definitely makes the game more challenging but in a good way. If you continue the game after the jam, try making it so you can see what is on the plate at all times, not only if you are holding it. Sound effects are good, next step is music. Neat entry.
