Cool graphic and interesting gameplay, but the problem is that some weapon/item does not actually do anything or do too little thing. So I have to wait for 10 seconds to possibly get something useful.
And sometimes I get the same item in a row, if I get something useful that's good. If I don't then I cannot do anything to make progress, just standing there and pray to RNG god.
Is the pistol a bug or a feature?
I like the gameplay and the graphics are very nice. The mechanic worked well I think. Was just thinking there should be a healthpack or something, and BAM there was the healthpack :) Idea, design and execution is very well done.
I certainly hope the pistol is a feature :p
Have to agree that rolling energy drink > medpack > medpack at the beginning of my first run left me pretty perplexed as to what I was supposed to do in the game.
When I finally got some guns they all felt pretty interesting and different though, so good job there.
Great graphics, but my PC (RTX 3060) gets really hot :D The idea is not bad, but when an exploding ball is against you and you are not given weapons, it is almost impossible to win
Interesting mood and really well done graphics ! Pleasant and yet a bit frustrating sometimes... But it adds something to the feeling of escaping the spaceship so it's kinda fitting the intentions ! Good job :heart:

This is probably one of the best games I've seen during this jam! Even though it's short, it's the perfect amount of sweet. Being forced to use a different weapon every ten seconds, which could range from useful to pitiful, or even get a heal/speed boost? And in the worst case scenarios, a finger gun or even a FORK?! It's a brilliant idea that I would love to see being fleshed out further. The controls feel amazing, even though the running speed does feel slightly slow in my opinion (though I got used to it), the enemies are challenging - I can't pick anything that impacts the game heavily. Two tiny remarks I would make is that the Energy Drink speed boost is very, very short, and lengthening it out by a few seconds could go a long way, and that the bomb enemies may need a slight nerf, as it's easy to run into them when dodging other enemies - even taking only half a healthbar would be a very welcome addition to the game. Overall, though, this was a brilliant experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done!
This is quite impressive for a jam game! I like the use of the theme, but why am I always getting a FORK!? :D Honestly though, this has a lot of potential! Great work!

The energy drink and fork were a fun surprise, haha :D For me the gameplay was too hard, I didn't get much further than the first large chamber because I always got hit from behind (I tried running away, maybe shoulda fought more lol).
Anyway impressive project, good job!
Edit: Oh ye I think I also got killed by the bomb often, I think it did too much damage.
Very ambitious game for a game jam! Really good polish on the lighting and first person animations, not easy to do in such a short time! Interesting gameplay that makes you switch between fighting and running away, but the randomness of the weapon felt a bit chaotic (maybe let player choose between 2 or 3 randoms instead?) Anyways great job on pulling this together!
:D I waited forever for a med kit and very often got the fork and the gun (both Funny but not useful :D ). When I finally got a med kit and went on I realized that I had all the enemies already dead and after the next turn the game was already over. Very funny. Good graphics for the short time and awesome animations. We have a similar game as a 2D top down shooter. Feel free to give it a try. good work keep up the good work.

Would love to see a bit more rules to the random weapons. Like certain conditions increases the chance of getting certain spawns.
I had the energy drink, pistol, and medkit way too often and ended up running away most of the game.
But really loved the overall experience!
I quite enjoyed this one! Great concept although I do a few suggestions. The fork I feel needs to heal on kill, just feels like it would be a fun mechanic! I would love the finger guns/pistol to do something too. The timer being on screen is great but I feel it would be even better at the crosshair.
Other than that though, very fun! Visually clean and pleasant. The movement felt nice and shooting felt good. Enemy variety was really nice to see and even though it breaks things, I love how you let the player jump on boxes. I dined out on a few robots with the fork! This is one I'd really like to see you keep working on because I think with things changing and being a little out of the hands of the player, there could be some really interesting ways to take the game. Very well done!
That was some slick fps playing. It's hard to believe that is possible in the time constraints of a game jam. o:

My only critique is that I ended up sitting in a room for a few cycles of energy drink/finger pistol, just waiting for a med kit before moving forward. Having something to prevent that from happening could be nice but it's a realllllly minor complaint.

As shooters go this definitely feels responsive and looks great. There's a good amount of polish on the basics and that lets you feel immersed in the game. The biggest issue here is the same issue with our game and others I've played.... which is you have to wait around for 10 seconds sometimes. But this theme was hard to make unique and still flow perfectly, so I am giving leeway there ^_^ Even without music, the sound effects do a great job with audio immersion as well.
Well done! The graphics look awesome. Most detailed 3D environment, lighting, weapons and enemies I've seen in a while.
And wow, seeing your own hand and weapons is really great!
The only thing I missed is more screen shake! I think, it would at a lot.
Fun idea! Agree with others that the combo of fork/finger pistol/energy drink/medkit can lead to taking some long breaks in between fights. Would love to see more unique guns that require different tactics.

Pretty funny but real hard
This game is obviously super impressive, the visuals, animations, and lighting are the star of the show. No feedback there, but a couple of things on the gameplay smoothness itself.
There is no hit effect, or at least I was never aware I was getting hit. A red indicator, screen effect, sound effect.
The energy drink was cool, but I feel like again there could be some sort of indicator of its effect.
There are no hit effects, which really surprised me. The shotgun animations and sound are so great, but with a fork or finger gun I cannot tell if I am hitting the enemy.
In terms of game balance, I think there were too many weapons that I couldn't do anything with. I would just wait it out until I got the shotgun or AR then push forward. Make the finger guns, forks, and grenades more worthwhile.
Overall, the game speaks for itself, really good entry.
The game has a pretty great atmosphere! The mechanic could have been punitive, but the fact that the enemy only take 1 hit to die balance it nicely. In the hand the game is mostly about surviving before we get the upper-hand, which provide a nice challenge (although you can't do much against the red bots, so the only strategy I found was to know their emplacement in advance and confront them only when ready). I especially enjoyed the silliness in the weapon we obtain, and the neat animation that come with them. Great job!
I like that you should improvise with what you have! Imagine you can unlock extra slot and have an ability to switch between two weapons. :smile:

Fork you robot! So funny. I loved the the play on the theme. I struggled for a bit, but in the end I decided to run straight to the end and ignore the robots.
