here we go, engine is ready, let's go for level design !
Quite a cute game :) Some slow background music could really have helped the feel of the game :) over all a 3.5 star game. Also the skateboard level is really creative haha nice one.
My only gripe is that i dont see the theme anywhere :b
Solid platformer puzzle type game. The cake eating is funny and unique!
Nice little parkour game. Mechanics are very smooth especially wall jumping. Its so frustrating when you think you are going to make it and you get "he ded" on your screen. My one gripe is the theme. There should be A LOT of cakes at the beginning levels, and then they diminish. All in all great work!
I love this kind of game like "super meat boy" or "hollow knight". Well done! The level design is good for a game Jam :)

Hey ! Nice game you got there, really MeatBoy-ish. I feel like this kind of sloppish effect on the character makes the game particulary tedious and punitive ! Sometimes cupcake guy will just slide out of the platform :D !
The game obviously lacks some cute music and sound designs, but I liked your inventivity and creativity with the level designs ! Good job :)

Nice little game. Unofortunately, it was a bit hard to play with an Azerty keyboard, and the double jump stopped working after the first double-jump:(
I'll recommend working on smoother movement for the character, and adding a little music in the background. Also, I really like the blocks graphics.
There are many good ideas in this game, like the skateboard ramp, but i think they could be better used, if there weren't some issues with the controls, for example there was no consistence how high i flew with the scateboard ramp and these things made the game really difficult to play. But i liked it very much for its innovation. Its a pitty i couldn't vote on audio and graphics.
I really like it, and i couldnkt get past the skateboard, no theme though...
Nice little game, played it through and I think it's nice even though the "sliding" physics does get some time to get used to.
The wall jumps sometimes felt inconsistent with one another and I got very frustrated when I used a cake because I was just pixels away from the wall to wall jump :slight_frown:
As the others said, the theme is not really present in its original form but you added a nice twist to it.

Game was nice. Movement was crazy, but I'm guessing that was the idea. The wall jumping was smooth and I wish there was more music/sounds. But overall it was pretty great.
Was really impressed by the skateboard level. Making a solid working physics platformer in 72 ours is hard I imagine. I played it with a gamepad and ran in to a minor bug. Its possible to go to the next level by pressing "a" but the retry button doesn't work the same way. Kinda is in the way of the flow when you have to let go of the gamepad to click on the button with the mouse. Other than that, it's a solid entry. Great job!

Oof, the platforming controls needs a little more work, in my opinion. It's currently very slippery: tapping the direction in the other direction has a small bit of delay that makes it feel less reactive than it should be. I felt the character wall-jumps at inconsistent distances, and couldn't figure out what would cause them to suddenly climb up a wall really high vs only bump into it. I also got stuck in the half-pipe as well, as I couldn't figure out a consistent way to increase height. There's a lot of great ideas in this game, especially the limited number of dashes, but without the tight controls, they make it difficult to access and utilize properly.
I was reserved at first but after discovering skateboarding, the level of fun increased by 10. Great work !
Skateboarding was an awesome level, but that's as far as I could get, Im not really good at this game :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I think the movement of the character is a bit too fast and floaty for me, also there was too much momentum. I died multiple time in the wall jump section because I cannot land properly to the end-level ball. The height of wall jump was different too, I wonder was that a bug or something you intended to? Otherwise, very lovely graphics, the sound effect goes with it and there are many interesting mechanics in the game. A very promising entry. Well done!
Has the potential of being a great platformer. The controls are a little difficult when using the laptop but guess I need to try using a controller like you mention in the start screen :) overall quite an addictive game though, can imagine people spending lots of time trying to complete all the levels (I got stuck on the skateboard level lol).
