I like the simplicity of the art. It's interesting to play.

I like the simplicity of the art. It's interesting to play.
Minimalistic, Easy to learn, hard to master. The Gameplay is great but i would like to have some more animations and a better hit feedback on the enemies.
Good idea, but you have a lot of work if you want to continue on this project. For some reason I doesn't have a mouse icon. But I had fun playing it. Keep it up.
Nice game! I like the fact that the map is randomly generated. The art works good. The idea to protect several things at the same time makes the gameplay interesting but a difficult for the bad player that I am. At the final floor, my character stopped to shoot in my cursor's direction, so I was locked in my shooting direction. But this is good job anyway!
i loved the face paced movement. it took a few minutes until i discovered holding down mouse buttons, that was awesome :) it lacks a bit of music and i was expecting the lights to come up green/red/yellow on the circles. Also there is no exit-menu, i had to alt/F4 :p But i had fun playing it anyways and that is what counts bigtime!
Love the minimal aesthetic! It makes everything readable, which is super important in a fast-paced game like this. The mini-map was a nice touch. Adding some extra feedback/polish would push this game so much further! Great job
Heyy! I played it but the first thing I noticed was the mouse... I couldnt see it very well in the menu, its white bunch of dots, I couldnt see it in the first level!. Also, the last level is unplayable. The player wasnt aiming where i was pointing!! After all, this game was really nice and minimalist, I really liked it.
The art is simple and very effective! The first level was especially impressive with the white contrast, and I liked the gameplay, it was fun! Things that you could improve: better player feedback, like when you hit/destroy an enemy, something that the player can feel, and also a different coloured cursor. The mechanics of the four characters were good too! Overall, good job, I liked it!
I love your game, the graphics are incredible simple and that makes the game unique, the only thing is that the last level is too difficult.
Tricky and fun! The primary mechanics are solid, and the graphics are super polished. I agree that better feedback for some actions would be great.
Nice concept, i flew around the map like a crazy person for some reason and managed to exit the map a few times. But I like the idea. Maybe a little variation on the enemies would have been good, and a little spy style mood music?
Nice game, gameplay works well and it's pretty fun to play ! The explanations were not so clear to me, I had to retry it a few time before understanding how to win. But when it's clear, the game is really fun. Nice job !
Hi @zachary-shah ! Fun, interesting and as far as I can tell, quite unique game :) The instruction manual looks slick at the beginning and I read it but still wasn't quite sure on the mechanics I guess (didn't really get that I had to stand on the pads to charge them but I think that was my bad :) For the game itself, it looks good, plays well, but maybe some additional feedback to the player for a pad charged or indicators of what is going on would be good. The final level seems nearly impossible lol (at least for me!). EDIT: Should add that I tried only one character, I assume all are different and kudos for that too!
@vernalbehemoth weird, that is the first time I am hearing about a glitch like that. Probably has something to do with the rigidbody. I plan on continuing to work on the game post jam release, and creating enemies that launch projectiles and such. I have never had good taste in the creation of music, so I opted out this jam due to lack of time. Thanks for playing!
Cool game. I like the simple style. It makes the game simple to learn but the difficulty curve still makes it a fun challenge with plenty of gameplay. Trying out the different abilities was really fun. Nice original idea. Good job.
Awesome graphics!
I really like the post processing in your game! And awesome screen transitions! The 3D minimalist top down shooting is smooth!!!!! Out of the four, I really liked the phaser one! Greato Jobu!
I had a hard time beating lvl 2 with Noir and Phaser, but with Schorcher or Alex the game became to easy haha.
Wow I liked the game aLot.
Nice and tricky! The aesthetic is cool (with the RGB effect on the edges). Gameplay is simple to understand (made me think about a modern Pacman), but still, the game is hard, especially the final stage! Being able to choose a player is clearly a good idea and add some replay value, but apparently the efficiency of the gun is not the same for each avatar (it seems to me that Phaser is clearly better than Agent noir for instance). The mini-map is a very good feature, essential actually. Adding some music would have been nice for the mood, but I see that you are in the compo category, so I know it's not so easy to produce all this by yourself in such a small amount of time. Also, I didn't really get how you caught the theme, I understand you have to conquer the territory, but what is "it" you keep alive?
Finally, for you to know, I had a weird collision bug several times, exiting me out of the map, and making me restart the game (a pause menu allowing you to quit or restart would also be nice!)
For anyone wondering what each character does:
Scorch: shoots a charged fireball Phaser: has a persistent beam attack Noir: shoots 3 bullets Axel: throws a boomerang
Given that there are 4 possible characters it would've been really nice if you could change characters between levels or after failing a level.
I was confused at first, but after figuring out what to do, I beat the first two rounds as Scorch and lost the final round (so many enemies! I couldn't kill them fast enough)
I liked getting to run super fast, the minimap was helpful, and I did like the territorial gameplay - claiming objectives and moving on.
I liked it and the second level that I see that the map is random ?, I liked the mini map and I would like it to shoot a little more, good job!
