LD46 — Keep it alive

Bobbleheads want to dance by jk5000 2020-04-28T12:56:36Z

Haha! Loved listening to this game and I got super stressed >D really enjoyable well done! A little more variation on characters etc would have been good.

Nice one!

Until We Freeze by icxon 2020-05-06T08:16:39Z

Really great entry, its a really good use of the standard unity assets. A little more polish and this would have been super fun to play.

As people have stated before, it needed to be a little more challenging. I always love day/night cycles in games like this maybe something like that could have added depth.

Great work and keep up the unity development :D

Locked'goshi by StabAlarash 2020-04-22T19:20:07Z

Well done, reminds me of pokemon. Lots of UI to design in this one and it felt well balanced. Maybe a little more audio would have been good.

Serveryard by ping78 2020-05-08T06:46:27Z

Nicely done, great feel going into the game a little more polish needed on the game mechanics itself.

It seems a lot of people have got confused with the fuel sources recharging. So maybe that could have been presented a little better. But for the time frame the game looks really great.

A little more optimizing on the game mechanics and this would have been a lot more enjoyable.

Morse Code Hero by ratly 2020-04-23T18:29:44Z

Thanks for the submission! Enjoyed it alot! A little more feed back would be super :)

Campfire in the dark by rayriver 2020-05-02T08:55:36Z

Nice entry! Really enjoyed the uniqueness of the game mechanics. This could definitely exist outside the jam with a little bit of polishing.

Nekotchi by Devastus 2020-04-21T10:27:32Z

Nice graphics, simple but addictive. Great work!

Robot Repair Shop Incorporated by been 2020-04-21T13:18:35Z

O my! This is an awesome concept and the implementation is nearly perfect!! Little bit of an issue click the right spots but I guess surgery is quite hard..

LOVED LISTENING TO THE ROBOT and the humming!

Useless Machines Inc. by herniewise 2020-04-28T08:40:03Z

Really enjoyed this, I actually found all of it quite intuitive (but I enjoy these sort of puzzle games) the only thing that kept me guessing for a while was that I had to hold the valve open in order for it to affect the thirst level.

Great little scene and very atmospheric, maybe it could have some background music though for you and the fetus to chill to.

Maybe do a few of these "mini-games" and chuck them in an app :D i'd buy it!

Gumball by eva 2020-05-06T07:30:56Z

Really enjoyed playing this, nicely done on the graphics and audio, like you have said the randomness of the tile placement is a little frustrating but it was still very enjoyable.

Great entry!

Feed Me, see more by triggthediscovery 2020-05-05T11:30:39Z

Haha very enjoyable once you understand the simple game logic. It may have been better if your plant was out in the open more as people chased me to the plant and then the clipping on the camera made it rather hard to play.

Loved the idea and enjoyed throwing people at the plant for sure!

Nice entry.

Shark Storm - Nom Nom Nom by doomshmuck 2020-04-23T14:02:23Z

Great sound FX!! So funny :) nice and smooth control as well. Well done!

Feed the Machine by DeathStorm 2020-04-24T07:13:31Z

Nice work, needed a little more guidance on what to do in the game and where to go. Also a little more feedback when the player is dying.

Other than that it was a great concept and looked great, balancing the machines was a lot of fun and it is very impressive how much you made in the time that you had.

Mampfred and the singing, tingling tree by gagapete 2020-04-21T13:06:49Z

A very playable game (once you figured out the controls and what the things on the ground are) and I played it to the end. But once you had figured out controls and game loop etc you just ended up repeating the same move over and over until the end of the game.

Maybe it needs some other random event to screw everything up. Or you could have waves of people wave one being easiest and increasing from there?

GhostVac by christina-antoinette-neofotistou 2020-04-22T18:59:17Z

Looks amazing and plays very well! Super polished. Well done!

I I R O by Dis0rder 2020-05-08T07:58:38Z

Really enjoyed that this game provided something truly unique, I can see why you ran out of time there was a lot in this game!

Well done for doing something different and making it enjoyable!

A more obvious WIN/LOSE screen would have helped with the overall feeling of achievement when finishing the game.

Great entry!

Egg Tender by ludevum 2020-04-22T19:15:51Z

Nice simple and enjoyable, great work! Sound works great with the movement and was smooth to play. Nicely done!

Forest Resistance by WetBox 2020-04-21T13:30:14Z

Great game!! A little bit easy and gets a little samey towards the end. But enjoyed it when the big monster truck thing came :id: Nice entry!

Blackbird by Rongo Matane 2020-04-28T13:35:08Z

Nicely done! The flight was great along with the sounds and the smoothness of the controls. Maybe some more challenges within the game mechanics would have made the game fun for longer.

Really great work!

For Ducks' Sake by GaryS 2020-05-06T09:18:12Z

Awesome fun :D loved the duck puns and good work on the post-jam fixes really finished the game off nicely! Great work!

Supernova by dxk2294 2020-04-24T07:04:44Z

Great work! This was almost perfect! I really liked the cut scene and the idea was great, the only issue I had was interacting with objects. I found it a little frustrating place objects in the machine (unless im missing something). Other than that though it was lots of fun to play and really really impressive for the amount of time you had to do it in.

Сharon-don-don by Royoyo 2020-04-23T14:10:49Z

Really good game, excellent quality feels really polished for a game jam game. Loved the idea behind it, thank you for sharing :)

Finding Sam by nolanfa 2020-04-30T11:20:14Z

Nice entry! Good story although a bit tiresome to click through all the dialogue. I am very impressed you managed to get this into 72 hours. A background track would definitely of helped and maybe some interactions to do on the bicycle scene, to mix it up a bit?

Please keep it up! Maybe add some mechanics similar to the walking dead where you must decide on a response to a NPC within a certain amount of time or something?

Great work for the time frame, you are obviously talented in story telling :D

KTPA by acronaut 2020-04-27T08:23:53Z

Great entry! I love that this provides some original thought on what a game can contain, the look it really nice and the mood is also good.

Exterminators by Zachary Shah 2020-04-28T13:42:18Z

Nice concept, i flew around the map like a crazy person for some reason and managed to exit the map a few times. But I like the idea. Maybe a little variation on the enemies would have been good, and a little spy style mood music?

Luciole by LaJazuve 2020-04-23T07:08:01Z

Nice look! I checked out the settings out of curiosity and realized I had to set the keyboard to qwerty which was lucky (maybe force people to choose on launch of the game so people don't miss it). The graphics and audio felt really creepy (perfect).

Something to do next time could be to make it more obvious what the player has to do within the game and make it easier at the beginning so people can ease into it.

I have found that this is a common issue in game jams (in fact my entry to this jam has the exact same issue), I generally make sure I have some text on screen that tells the user what the can/can't do and sometimes even what button to press.

Nice entry thanks for sharing it :)

Soul Blazer by Lukas TAMAYO 2020-04-24T07:26:13Z

Haha that sound track got EPIC!! nice game mechanic with lighting the fingers and movement. I was a little confused at first as I could move without lighting any fingers but other than that I enjoyed it alot. The ring and ring finger teleport thing was a great touch too!

Soul Blazer by Lukas TAMAYO 2020-04-24T18:37:20Z

@hornicar HAHA i just tried it again, and it didn't work :(

I teleported back to the tree when I light my ring finger on the ring that is on the floor. I guess it was coincidence :D you shouldnt of said anything and just taken credit ;)

Corposprint by SaRNEh 2020-04-21T07:53:41Z

Nice look and sound, struggled a little with getting stuck. Enjoyed playing it :D nice submission!

Cells by Gaming Night 2020-05-04T09:19:05Z

Amazing entry, so much fun figuring out the optimum algorithm to collect the necessary resources :) , as other people said it would be nice to see a warning if you are testing your immune system against a virus that is higher than your current immunity level (I saw that it tells you on the button but that could be clearer).

It would have felt a lot smoother if you implemented a way to drag yourself around the game rather than using the edges of the screen.

I you added a few more parts of the body and resources you could implement a complete body management simulator, I would love to play that! Maybe have some random events occurring to mix it up a little bit.

Really great and unique game (it is very hard to come up with something unique!).

Thanks for the entry, I really enjoyed playing!

Chicken Coop by Bram 2020-04-21T13:22:16Z

A shame you ran out of time, I liked the way that the eggs had to be taken away from the nest. Nicely done.

Time Agent: Protect the VIP by kasperhangard 2020-04-22T08:41:20Z

Good concept! Really nice idea, it would be nice to have a little more feedback when trying to remove the knife or find the poison. I ended up with no idea how I found the poison. I enjoyed throwing food around the place though!!

Great submission and a lot in this for the time available in the game jam :D

Garden Defence by Sir. Syko 2020-04-22T19:06:48Z

The concept was really good, kinda like tower defense. The implementation of the concept needed a little work but that is what this is all about. Nice work and a great submission, amazing what you can do in just a few days!

Kaoamaru Kaiju by SplitPainter 2020-05-06T18:36:20Z

To come up with something truly unique like this is an absolutely immense skill! It is hugely rare to find something so intriguing to play not just in these jams but also generally.

If you did all this on your own then that is huge! Well done, I would love to see what you could do with a few developers supporting your art.

Thanks for a unique experience and a story that I would love to see more of!

I salute your massive ambitions within the time frame of this jam, you gotta push the boundaries sometimes :)

Father dies At The End by nahual 2020-05-08T11:08:03Z

Nicely done! Managed to complete it in the end :) super dark but enjoyable. Intro was a little long but set up the scenario perfectly.

Within the game a little more feedback on the interactive objects would make the experience perfect.

Great submission thanks!

Slovenian Explorer-X by Maja Salamon 2020-04-28T13:49:08Z

This is the first game I have managed to win by accident, not sure what was going on but I loved the concept. Great work on the cut scene and there is a lot in this for the amount of time you had. Nicely done!

My Friend Phil by Conroy 2020-04-24T18:34:13Z

Nice! With a little polish this could be a really fund game :) looks like you took on a hell of a lot to do in the time you had to do it.

Great work and im looking forward to seeing a finished version!

Ghost Ship (Jam Edition) by Dylan Fries 2020-04-27T12:19:32Z

Nice game, great into although a little confusing what ship was mine :) great atmosphere. The camera angle was a little confusing but added to the difficulty of judging where things would fly from which is nice. Enjoyed this entry, thank you.

The Weeny's Quest by Tropos 2020-05-05T07:23:12Z

Loved the game mechanics. Well done getting so much done in the time frame of this jam!

This could definitely be made into a post jam game :D

FIRE-MUST-BURN by TheCze 2020-04-21T12:57:25Z

Once I figured out I'm a pyromaniac and not a firefighter I really related to the character. Super fun to play, N for dragging logs felt slightly un-natural and there could have been a progress indicator or a level system or score (so you can brag how far you got)

But this is my favorite game yet!

Slime Knights by Kittennation 2020-04-23T18:53:39Z

Thank you for the entry, it is really hard to come up with a unique game mechanic like this, it is always worth giving these ideas a shot.

The feel was nice but it was a little confusing to play, I didn't realize where you click for a while.

With a few extra functions and abilities like you've said before it would have been a lot of fun!

VampySitter by MacDoom 2020-04-24T07:19:32Z

Nice work!! Loved the idea behind how to control the vampire and the animations :)

I had some issues figuring out the controls and felt it could have been slightly easier to start, I got insta killed by the first log quite a few times (until i realized you could click on it and break it).

Definitely an enjoyable experience.

TIME TO BREATHE by Dmitry Kaidash 2020-04-21T07:02:02Z

The looks are great, very borderlands esq!

PROTECTOBOTANY by ctran13 2020-04-22T18:55:41Z

Nice concept, played it quite a bit. I found that there wasn't much progression which made it fun for a little while. But really nice animations and the character graphics were great :)

Defend the Loot! by ArtemFTW 2020-05-11T08:21:59Z

Nicely done :) I really enjoyed the simplicity of the building and the combat these made it very easy to pick up and get hooked on!

The only thing I am wondering is, if you could level it a bit differently so the player gets more points to build with (so more points from each wave). This would make the building part more fun, instead of just repairing the walls and then only have a little left to build more. I think that the way the game currently plays means that you miss out on some of the fun things you can do in the game. Maybe that makes no sense, sorry!

Such an awesome entry, its amazing the game feels so complete in such a little amount of time.

Keep What Alive by Valeth2124 2020-05-06T13:51:06Z

Impressive amount of work has gone into this well done! I liked the story line and enjoyed the different characters and the way the interactions were handled. The multiple endings were great to have in the game.

I enjoyed that there was a bit of variety around the game play (sneaking through the neighbors house and running around town without being infected or just shooting everyone to make sure).

I think the game was a little slow and as you were not 100% sure what you should be doing this made the issue worse. It meant that you found yourself wondering around the game a lot and this became frustrating and detracted from the enjoyment of the game.

The audio and sound FX were nice and worked well, maybe a little more variety on the backing track but other than that the audio was good.

I can see how this game could have been a little adventurous to fit within the 72 hour time frame and it is really impressive what you managed to come up with! Nicely done.

CAT 5 by Jared York 2020-05-06T07:42:19Z

Great idea! Love the art :D maybe some audio would have complimented the experience. Also a little more guidance on what to do.

Could you implement a mini-game or two, where you have to try and delete a file that moves every time your cursor goes near it or something?

Savior❤ by ShreyasRao_TS 2020-05-11T08:30:24Z

Very good game for your first entry. It was well executed and very playable. The audio needs a little leveling as picking up the items is a little bit loud (and is clipping). But apart from that it is great!

Maybe a way to make the game more repeatable is to create a boss round once the timer reduces to 0. Make the enemy spin in the center of the screen firing every half second for 15 seconds or something and the player has to dodge this. Then carry on the game.

Thanks for the great entry!

Treewatcher by xpost2000 2020-05-08T13:52:40Z

Nice mood to the game, very enjoyable to play.

A little more feedback on what the different turrets do and their cost would have been great but that didn't detract too much from the experience.

Really nicely done!

ZenTuree by wischi 2020-04-23T18:34:18Z

Such an inspired idea! Your brain must be awesome! Please keep making this like this :D Obviously not a "fun" game but it had so much more than that! the persistence of the tree was awesome!

Keep them alive by Bajtix 2020-04-28T12:41:40Z

Nice enemy AI implementation, music got a bit much quite quickly but I enjoyed trying to figure out what to do.

Nicely done :)

Keep The Spirit Stone Allive by Ausstein 2020-05-06T13:11:28Z

Wow there is a lot here! No wonder you struggled to get it all in the Jam version of the game :D definitely keep working on this and polish it up a bit as it could be a really fun game to play!

I absolutely loved the progression of the unlock system. I forgot how rewarding it is to be able to unlock things in a game :) and including a tutorial was definitely necessary and was a very good choice.

I found the difficulty progression a little off, I didn't need to do much to succeed through a lot of the rounds and I don't think I am a pro at the game quite yet ;), although it definitely made me feel good about myself so maybe that was the intent! Having said that, next time round I lost almost straight away, it looked like the rabbits weren't attacking enemies they were just sitting still.

This game provides a lot of complexity for the time frame that it was developed and that is super impressive.

I really enjoyed the feel of the game and the post jam fixes have made a huge improvement (i could only find a Web GL version of the latest and so it lagged out quite a bit, very soon after the start of the game but that's typical web GL).

Moving around the scene was really the main thing I think you could improve on. Maybe have a typical system which is looking around with the mouse and moving forwards backwards and side stepping with arrow keys/WASD.

The audio needed a little bit of leveling, did you use an Audio Mixer in Unity? This really helped me when I was having this sort of issue in my games. The interaction sounds were a bit high compared with the rest of the audio.

I also found an issue with the Web GL version that you start off the map (when you have the fairy on screen). Capture.PNG

Great entry thanks for sharing :D

The Night Of The BEAST by Fer9001 2020-05-06T13:59:05Z

I really enjoyed this game, the beast is one hungry mofo!

Once I had an understanding on everything that could kill you in the game then the game really became enjoyable to play. The controls were really smooth and I loved the old CRT effect you had on the screen.

It would be great to see some randomness in the enemy AI but apart from that there is not a lot I could recommend to make this any better.

Really well polished game, thanks for the link :)

Hisen's Heroes by Gilokko 2020-04-28T08:14:51Z

Nice little RPG, made me want to beat it :D was a nice relaxing game to play but not very challenging, maybe it could have some mini-games to give it a bit more variation. Enjoyed the story, good work!

Program has stopped working by Alexander Wayne 2020-04-25T22:07:38Z

Enjoyed the feel of the controls and the responsiveness, maybe a little more feed back on hits and damage on the targets would have been good. Some more audio might have helped.

A very solid 2D shooter. Great work for the time frame.

The Dragonsitter by JoeShanahan 2020-05-08T12:20:37Z

Nicely done, really enjoyed this. The game was super playable, really amazing how you did all this in the time frame!

It was a little easy once you figured out what everything does.

Great work and such a polished game considering it was within a Jam :)

Shelter the Flame by Frozen Spirit 2020-04-28T08:24:26Z

The graphics made me smile! A very challenging game, maybe it could have been a little easier to start with to ease the player in. Great work!

Cheat Or Die by Kanonix 2020-04-28T13:27:27Z

Nicely done! Enjoyed playing this, maybe some musak to take the edge of a little?

Great entry!

Revenge of the Woods by Robonaut121 2020-04-30T10:04:01Z

Nice concept, once i managed to figure out the tree/shooting mechanics it was much fun :) it would be great if this was expanded into some sort of tower defense game but in this 2D view, I would love to play something like that!

Great work!

Kaboom Princess by Aune 2020-04-23T18:38:21Z

Nicely implemented, I enjoyed the game mechanics and the duplication of the exploding guys. Great entry!

The Toiling by cles 2020-04-21T10:31:11Z

Great game really fun! I smashed some trolleys which was super satisfying! But, then I didn't know what to do and me as a toilet roll man needs to be nerfed a bit to make the game more of a challenge.

Great submission!

Keep I.T. alive by CrashApe 2020-04-22T19:12:25Z

Awesome, that was very enjoyable. So good that I want more! Maybe have some role assignments for the developers that you have to manage as well :D nice work!

to Leave by 5imon 2020-04-28T12:24:53Z

Absolutely awesome! Did not expect that! :D I love it please make this an app you can play! I guess most people struggle with the musical side to it. Maybe there could be an easy mode that allows you to see which part of the music is currently missing from the track then that would imply that you should click around a bit and find some more parts that fit with the track (also it could show if you have are playing a part that doesnt fit).

Best game I have played in this Jam so far and stars to match ;)

The Last Flower by Unimaginable_Code_Studios 2020-05-08T06:33:02Z

Nice work! This is a really good entry, the game looked great and the satisfaction of completing a level was really good. A little work needed on the controls, especially the jump as this is so important to the gameplay.

If you are looking for a community dedicated to unity game development then check out GameDevHQ, it has some great assets (as well as a discord channel with lots and lots of people helping each other dev games).

This is amazing for a first entry! Keep going :)

The Birb by Ilimanic 2020-05-04T08:10:30Z

Awesome ambient game, enjoyed the puzzle aspect to it. Great entry felt very polished. I even managed to hang from a ledge by my "nose" :D

Pet Keeper by Rafael Pontes 2020-04-23T18:46:28Z

Nicely done, once i got the hang of all the buttons :)

Did it increase in difficulty? I felt that it was a little easy and didnt get harder as I played so could have done with a little more progression.

Thanks for the fun game to play :D

Pollice Verso by JHax 2020-04-21T13:12:16Z

AMAZING CONCEPT!! I really loved buying my moves and configuring other things before fighting. Well done for thinking of this and with more time and some polish this is something i would love to play.

The only issue is that I didn't need to do anything to just buy the best move and them I won every match by doing a wild swing. If it had more requirement to investigate all the things you had put into the game (by making it harder for the player to win) then this would have been awesome! Also the enemy surrendered a lot!

Great effort

The Given Path by Jvdwijk 2020-04-23T06:52:08Z

Really really innovative ideas in this game, the movement mechanic was fund to play around with and the card based combat was really enjoyable although the enemy kept playing his pesky pineapple.

Lots in this for the amount of time you had during the jam, so great work! With some more polish it could be a super game to play!

Headquarters by SilentMrDave 2020-04-23T17:56:17Z

Nice work in the time given!! Really great to see ideas that haven't been done before. Thanks for sharing 😊

Earth 2.0 by AryanJumani 2020-04-22T09:22:54Z

Nice entry! Very fun to play, maybe you could add a section where there is one path you can fly through and you have to do it without hitting the sides :) got potential for a mobile app too!

Infermum by Brandon Gonzalez 2020-04-23T14:16:24Z

Haha loved it! Took me a while to figure out how to cast the incantation but i got it in the end.

Maybe you could step it up a bit it one of the demon babies start to teeth or gets chicken pox >D

Roboson Crusoe and the Spiders from Muranus by Semmler 2020-04-30T09:56:27Z

Nice game, I enjoyed playing it, the spiders look great :D

Five Below Zero by Daniel Williams 2020-04-22T19:03:55Z

Enjoyed the idea, loved selecting my team and I assume they have individual things to do but didn't manage to figure out exactly what I should do once in the game. Great effort though!

Dino Volleyball by PoignantBanana 2020-04-23T17:47:07Z

Maybe a little frustrating run too far for the ball but I enjoyed the overall feel of the game and loved the originality of the game. Great entry!

Rebooting Flowers by Haoro 2020-05-01T09:33:29Z

Nice work on the characters and the story, it was quite a lot to get through all the text though and maybe the game could step it up a little quicker to keep it interesting.

the movement was really smooth and the lighting in the game was super! It is hard to make such a simple design look good but you managed it!

Maybe it could have a couple more things to do like fixing a power generator or something to add a little bit of diversity?

Great work!

Turbo by Abhilash 2020-05-06T09:30:21Z

I liked the idea, could be ported quite nicely to a phone app.

I think one thing to consider next time is player feed back. If I lose then I should know I have lost and the opposite if I win. I couldn't see any feed back (although I guess falling counted as loosing). The only feedback I could see was when the game was complete. Adding some simple audio would also help bring the game alive (check out https://freesound.org/ to get some great audio for free).

The installer was a little unusual for Jam games, it might be better just to provide a zipped up version of the EXE build for people to run (as that means you don't get a pop-up from windows warning about running the installer).

I loved the feel of the controls, it really did feel like it was going turbo. With a little time it would be good to add some obstacles so the left and right movement becomes necessary. The level design was good and its great you managed to implement so many levels in the time period.

Nice work! Enjoyed playing this entry.

Floating Puffer by just-stanley 2020-04-23T14:06:57Z

Unique game and nice art, loved the sound track with it too! The puzzle element of this game has been so well thought through and is awesome :) really relaxing to play loved it!

Tile Rider! by VernalBehemoth 2020-04-21T07:55:59Z

@twowolf ahh thanks for letting me know! I am not sure what that is as I can't replicate the issue, did it happen immediately or was it after an action was performed in the game. Thanks for the help!

Tile Rider! by VernalBehemoth 2020-04-21T10:13:27Z

@amazura your wish is my command!! :D Thanks for the feed back, i really appreciate it.

Tile Rider! by VernalBehemoth 2020-04-21T10:23:00Z

@twowolf I have updated with an EXE build you could try if you would like.

Tile Rider! by VernalBehemoth 2020-04-22T09:17:26Z

@oneils You were right! Thanks for the tip. I am definitely going to continue this after the Jam :) [CowAttack2.gif](///raw/645/e2/z/323c8.gif)

Tile Rider! by VernalBehemoth 2020-04-22T11:40:02Z

@hexa3 - if youre interested in playing more with these fixes i have made a seperate version on GameJolt you can play :) https://gamejolt.com/games/TileRider/487770

Tile Rider! by VernalBehemoth 2020-04-23T17:50:57Z

@koemeterion @zezel @just-stanley thanks for playing!

I need to work on making it easier to understand what to do and definately more feedback on the attacks. I will be thinking about that tonight 🤔. The attack feedback has me a little stumped. Any suggestions would be really appreciated! (I tried adding sound affects which helped a little but didn't make it as good as I would have liked)

@koemeterion Thank you for taking the time to help me! I will look at implementing a few things and see what works, I will update the post-jam version and see if it works :D

@koemeterion I have done a few of those suggestions, it is a lot better but i think it needs a bit more. Will think some more. You are welcome to give it a try if you want, its on the game jolt link :)

@nolanfa Thank you so much for the thorough review! I really appreciate the feedback. I am very happy that the game has managed to bring you some joy :D , I made this game with two other developers and we tried to cram too much into the Jam and so had to throw in things like melons haha! We had 0 time for testing :P

You can click on the inventory with your mouse to interact, and you can use double health berries to heal. I haven't implemented the logic for giving to the family whilst near the house (so you can do it anywhere in the map).

I believe no one has ever tested the quest past the give 50 berries to your family so if you manage it you may find it a little buggy :) I know for sure that none of us have actually completed the game!

Could you let me know if you are playing the GameJolt version? as that is the latest edition and I believe some of these bugs are fixed there.

Thanks again for your super response!

@nolanfa Ahh found the bug with the particles, thanks! I will fix it in an update tonight, also I will try and test that the game works all the way to the end :D

@nolanfa New update is up on GameJolt :) I have managed to take into consideration some of your suggestions and have tested it to completion. So fingers crossed it works for you!

@wolfrug - Thanks for the feedback, I have added some new direction on what you should be doing so it is clearer (on the post-jam build hosted on GameJolt). I really appreciate the feedback, I believe one of my biggest triumphs with this game is the huge cows! :D

@zenris and @gameovermexico feel free to play the GameJolt version to see the most up to date version (with most of these suggestions implemented).

Thanks for playing and the feedback it is really appreciated.

@hamzeh no problem at all :D this is all about collaboration, you can have the whole project ;) https://github.com/VernalBehemoth/TileRider

The script you are looking for is linked below, it uses a character controller script placed on the Player GameObject you are moving. The camera is just a child object of the Player GameObject so it follows the rotation and movement of the Player GameObject: https://github.com/VernalBehemoth/TileRider/blob/master/Assets/All/Scripts/Controllers/BasicCharacterController.cs

Keep It Charged by LaZZyDev72 2020-05-08T10:25:36Z

Really great game, lots of fun maybe it could have increased in difficulty a little bit more towards the end.

I found a sticky key issue in the Post LD web version which is my only complaint with the controls as the rest of it was perfect and snappy. The issue I had was that it sometimes needed a double tap on a key to get the bot to move.

The art was great and the sounds were good although the levels were slightly out between the battery noise/wall hitting noise and the background music and the music loop could have been a little longer.

Nicely done, enjoyed this game a lot.

A Wizard Worth Fighting For by gweleth 2020-04-28T12:35:06Z

Nice work, would if been much more enjoyable if I could have attacked up and down but other than that it played really nicely. Smooth controls and excellent detail on the story :)

cheяnoбуl simulator (chernobyl simulator) by Hamzeh 2020-05-06T13:29:06Z

Great idea for a story line it really could work well. The concept of the game is great but due to the lack of feedback (audio and visual) I think its very easy to miss the awesomeness of what you have created.

It is super hard to make something that is easily understandable by the player but there are a couple of things that could of helped. A sound when you interact with something and a visual aid to know when you are carrying something. Maybe something could have appeared on the players screen when you pick up something or when you interact with something in the scene, I have also found that particle effects are a good way to highlight what can be interacted with.

The game felt a little hard to understand from the beginning but once you understand where everything was and what to do with it then the game flowed very nicely. Maybe at the beginning you could get the player to move to each part of the station and show what can be interacted with as a tutorial.

I have struggled to find audio for my games as well but have recently found the site "freesound.org". You could use this to add some sound effects to increase the player immersion in the game.

Great work on the entry! A few more tweaks to help the player play it and you will have an awesome game to play :)

BEST ART EVER! Gameplay was a little slow for me. But a good game to chill with :)

Sprouting Tale (LD46) by Tony_Artz 2020-05-11T08:43:25Z

Smooth response feel, nicely done!

I really liked the game mechanics, keeping the pot in the air was a great idea made the game unique.

Simplify the controls and get it on app store XD

Tear the damn tree down by Glox 2020-04-22T08:47:10Z

Nice concept and it was a great idea to have the controls on the floor so you can review them easily. Maybe provide a bit more feedback on what to do to interact with objects when you are able to do so. Having said that, in the time you had for this it is a great achievement!

Catch The Mouse keep it alive by GameOverMexico 2020-05-06T18:24:24Z

Nice entry! Great music and art and a good feel to the controls.

It is definitely rage inducing! If one more cloud takes me out i think I might cry...

Awesome to see it on multiple platforms and extra points for making such an enjoyable game with just one button! That is not easy!

Great job :)

Nice work, I enjoyed the music and the idea of the game. Amazing getting 3 levels designed in the time frame!

A little bit buggy on the movement and controls, but that is understandable in the time frame.

The game presented itself really well so good work on the game design aspect.
