Fun game, nice presentation - quite difficult.
Really had fun playing this game and chopping some trees! also enjoied the music.
Grame brought my computer to its knees a bit when fire got going everywhere, but overall I loved this game. Engaging little gameplay loop. feels great when you really get the fire going.
Very strange controls. Music was good. Initially I didn't get what's going on, but later understood.

Interesting concept, I like the ebb and flow between densely forested areas where you can simply enjoy the inferno and areas with large gaps where you need to scramble to build a bridge. Scaring the firefighters is hilarious!
At first I thought I was a firefighter, then i realized i am a fire keeper.
I don't know why but i love your game, it's hard, but it has something attracting, the art the concept and the mood i guess. Good job !

The concept and it's execution is cool. However the movement controls were a little laggy. Nice graphics. Rather good game overall :)
Really good interpretation of the theme, and well put together! The game could sometimes get laggy with all the particles, but apart from that: Overall, this is a really good jam entry!
Once I figured out I'm a pyromaniac and not a firefighter I really related to the character. Super fun to play, N for dragging logs felt slightly un-natural and there could have been a progress indicator or a level system or score (so you can brag how far you got)
But this is my favorite game yet!

My fire burned down and there was left only a tiny part on an open empty field of burned trees. So I had to bring logs to make this fire "travel" from the field to the woods again, AND THEN this firefighter comes near this tiny travelling fire, looks at it and poof it's gone, and the game is over. Fun game tho, but kind of hard. I like the choice of music, it makes the whole thing a bit more ridiculous in a good way.

Interesting game. Found the controls a little hard to use accurately. Quite difficult with the firefighters appearing all the time.
the music fits the fiery nature of the game, the controls were tight and very responsive and it was actually fun to play and fun to keep the firefighters away haha thanks for participating and congrats :) looking forward to seeing you in the next jam
My old computer definitely had a problem when there was loads of fire on the screen but that is no reflection on the game. Very simple yet engaging.
Lags way too much,can't play it

Really interesting idea having a raging fire as your health meter, its a very novel concept. Graphics were good and clear, I could always understand what was going on, although I would've enjoyed seeing more variety between the different trees. Sound design was good, the axe swinging had a good meaty *thunk* to it when you hit the tree, and the music felt appropriate for a runaway fire. I had some trouble figuring out how close I had to place the logs to extend the fire, and I think I ended up dropping them far closer than I should have done. Overall, a very nice game and glad I got to play it :)
Getting the fire across a big gap was a bit tedious, but very satisfying.
Got to the first houses and the first camping area and almost to the next houses but my fireman skills ended there.
The is a really fun and diffuclt game! I really liked that you took the fire thing the other way around. The graphics and the music is nice too!
Overall this is a good game that I had loads of fun playing :)
Love the idea and execution! It is pretty fun and challenging. Music is very cool! It especially resonate with me as long as I've being struggling with air pollution in my city due to forest fires for more than a week) Good job!
well made. loved the randomness on each try. good music. had several rounds. beaten by pesky firefighters.
the ability to cut down trees and drag the trunks around was a nice touch to work around the RNG sometimes not working out in your favor, i like it! also, i have to say, it really was mesmerizing to watch the whole forest go up in flames. maybe a little worrying for me, but i guess what i'm trying to say is that it was very pretty! it also got incredibly difficult with firemen later on, but the ability to move around fast and not have to worry about getting hurt by the fire never made it so much a chore as just an additional challenge. good work!
@spaghetti @oramun @david-p I just added a "low particle" mode to the game, I hope it now runs better on older machines. Just press **P** ingame to activate it. Please let me know if this improves performance for you! Thanks for the feedback.

Those firefighters ruin my hard work :D It's quite challenging to keep the fire alive. Intresting idea, good job!
this game is so fun, great idea, i'm just doubtful with the context ..but it's personnal, good job anyway, somethings works very well !
