lol nice.
I got 114.71 meters! I like that the camera follows the spear.
Lots of fun and challenging. Good work!
I couldn't find GRASS on the site where the web link went to. It would be a lot easier for people if you embedded the link directly to your game though.
That was a lot harder than I thought it would be be. Awesome game!
Good job!
I really loved the visuals. I agree that it would be cool if the enemies had feedback during damage.
Graphics looks cool! But I was a little confused on the objective of the game.
I like the graphics a lot and the levels were cool, but the signing part was really tedious.
I like the art, mechanics, and music a lot. I wasn't sure if there were was really an ending though? I got to what I thought was the last level maybe but I couldn't seem to move forward?
Really awesome graphics!
I like the concept as well! I didn't know how to move between areas until I read the above comment. I agree that putting that in the controls could be really helpful.
I had a blast playing this. That last rep was hard, but was a satisfying victory. I ended up beating it twice because I just had to play it again.
The graphics are really awesome. I had fun watching everything come into existence.
I had fun playing this.
I like the art work and sound a lot. I couldn't seem to fire though. Also, yea an exit button could be really beneficial.
I had fun playing this. Nice concept.
This is fun. I am also wondering what the white needle things all over are.
@kooshy I was referring to the bundles of wires. Oh okay, awesome!
Nice game. I really dig the intro, art, music, and game play overall. It felt very alive.
Maybe it could be a tad more difficult.
I also agree with the suggestions on using bars instead of numbers.
Thanks for sharing the concept scribble...I dig it!
I like the art.
@mirsakka and @kostasvs yea this might need some balancing and a little more clarity. Thanks!
@mordechai good points! Thanks!
@lizkuhns Thanks!
@james-7777 that sounds like a good idea. Thanks!
@ctrble Yea, sounds like that part needs some clarification for sure. Thanks!
@tatetate Thanks! Yea I'll try to make it less confusing.
This is fun! I found it addicting to try and beat the previous high score. It is awesome how the music speeds up too.
One thing that I think would be cool is if there was a bit more visual feedback when speeding up or slowing down...like maybe the engines could emit varying sized flames or something.
Anyway, I'm a fan of this game and I look forward to potential updates.
I had fun with this one. Love the art style too!
Well executed.
I agree with the previous comments about adding a battery gauge, it's too bad it didn't export correctly. I didn't find the game to be super intuitive, but like others have said, it's fun once it's figured out. The screen just going black was a bit frustrating for me as well.
That ghost adds some excitement to the game. Oh, and I liked being to charge the phone while hiding under the table. I'm not sure if this was ability was intended, but I got this warm fuzzy feeling while being plugged in and safe.
I enjoyed the game!
Nice game! The writing is humorous and the infamous HEATER has a sweet effect.
I got all of the truffles!
Controls were a bit difficult but watching the chaos was satisfying.
Pretty cool! Seemed a bit easy though, maybe increase the difficulty a tad.
Don't want to signup. I would use itch.io(it's free) like suggested up top.
Love the art style!
The tutorial was useful, but it has an unnecessary endless flipping when you click next. Next should stop being clickable when you are at the end. Graphics are killer, love the style!
Saw your post on reddit as well. Really interesting idea, love it!
I don't have a VR head set either, but looks cool!
I think there should be a skip cinematic option in case someone wants wants to jump straight into the action or if someone tries to play it again and they have already seen this.
I got stuck in place Capture.PNG. I ended up having to completely restart to get unstuck. Preventing this from happening would create a better experience.
Having the score visible while playing would be good so that the player has knows if they are getting close to beating their previous score.
I really dig the sound and the art. I found the gameplay fun as well.
I'm getting a VR headset soon, so I'll try it then!
Cool art style and lots of fun!
I just spent a lot of time playing this. Nice work!
@sean-holloway Thanks for the feedback. Yea the randomly generated text has no correlation to anything at this moment.
@blind-lemon-games Yea, I agree it needs be made a little less confusing and more clear. Thanks!
@ceasar Thanks! Yea, that sounds like something we need to work on.
@andreo200 Agreed.
@bobparis75 Thanks!
@ditam Browser support added! Lol yea, that probably isn't the most exciting screenshot. LOL yes!
@eugenik Thanks!
Thanks everybody again for the feedback. I'll try to make some adjustments!
@jarvisp99 Thanks.
@simonl Appreciate the kinds words and thank you for the feedback.
@eptwalabha Those are a lot of really awesome ideas! Thank you!
@flying-dog-fish Thanks! Yea, this game needs some modifications. Thanks for playing!
@mrbamboo Hmm...that sounds like a good idea as well. Thanks!
@toaster Yea, this didn't get as far as I was hoping it would during the timespan. I'm really wanting to add more. Thanks for the feedback!
@pedrocoden Thank you!
@frecklebars Thanks! Yea, there is some work to do to make this more clear. The game doesn't hate cows though!
@aubryman Lol. Yea, having a better way to keep track of the diversity / skills, and the goal are good ideas. A fox? Hmm... Yea happiness management is a mess here. Rich as hell and unhappy employees...lol. Yea this part does need attention. Yea, the UI could be a lot better...that's true. This is really helpful feedback. Thank you!
Neat game. I got satisfaction making the area clean.
This was sick. First game jam? Good job!
Ah, I beat it. Nice! Seems like there could be more. Unity has really good support for html5 export. If you were to export to this target, you could get the benefit of being cross platform and potentially get more players. Good luck on the exams!
This game is funny, pretty, fun, and challenging.
Best car game I've played in this game jam so far as well. This game is challenging. Love the graphic style.
I really enjoyed hitting people with boxes and I loved the atmosphere.
Nice Game!
Badass!
Badass. The first one felt a little crazier with the a greater flow of destruction. Also when going back to the menu on the first one...the mouse cursor exists and you can exit the game softly.
Awesome work! Goals and objectives were super clear. Very nice progression.
I had a lot of fun with this game and really enjoyed driving around the city. The menu looked really good as well.
As @mbrezu mentioned, you can host the WebGL version directly and then more people will probably play.
I didn't hear any sound so you probably want to choose to skip being rated on audio.
This is pretty solid though, nice work!
It is pretty and has awesome sound.
brokenLink.PNG
That was dark. Loved it.
Nice! Yea, very good graphics .
The commentary in this game is awesome lol.
Awesome game. Excellent use of light!
I really enjoyed the controls also.
This game was a lot of fun. The music was catchy, cool art style, and landing crazy combos was satisfying!
lol nice. It took me a second to realize that we need to drop the panties without walking into the hole or the game just ends.
@oysterhey @ty-victorson Should be fixed now. Thanks for pointing that out.
@oysterhey oh yea. I thought I cleared that...might need to refresh?
First link here is windows: https://stuckne1.itch.io/tiny-creature-blaster/download/9pHIoQ4AmVb_VbeOjtBbrOxv2TBN8RSaJ5xkYG8w
@splittheatom I'll look into those things, thanks for the feedback! A mac build does not take too much more time with these game engines fortunately  .
@mavvy Thank you! Yea, I had a lot of fun working on the environment. Good job finding and killing all of the cute creatures lol.
@mhorth Maybe I need to make them easier to find or add an optional setting that makes them easier to find. Thank you!
Adding a mouse sensitivity slider sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion.
@johncoffee I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the feedback.
@zoglu Thanks, I spent most of the time on the environment!
Thanks @nikolas-van-rus!
@master-yeet Oh, that's strange, I made this on a machine running Windows 11. Was there an error?
@rapture Gotcha, yea it seems like the aim sensitivity setting is really needed here. Perhaps the walk speed should be slower and then maybe holding shift for sprint or something could result in that higher speed. Yea, the gunshots are the only sounds...you are right...could use more audio stuff. Thanks!
@master-yeet if you get a chance, would you be able to download the ldJam56-tinyCreature-latest-debug.zip from https://stuckne1.itch.io/tiny-creature-blaster/download/9pHIoQ4AmVb_VbeOjtBbrOxv2TBN8RSaJ5xkYG8w
Then could you run the ldjam-56-tinyCreatures.console.exe from the command line and if it crashes...could you take a screen shot of the error?
The one that says latest has a bunch of changes (some of it from the provided feedback). * A giant sign in the sky is above each creature that says: "KILL IT!" so they are easier to find. * Creature bleeds red blood when hit instead of bleeding sparks...like the floor (which made it hard to tell if you actually hit before). * Slower default run (10 meters/s). * Hold shift for all out sprint (50 meters/s)...the previous default speed. * Some minor terrain adjustments. * Player health bar. * Top left label font size increased slightly. * Added a pause menu. * Added an options menu (to the pause menu) with an aim sensitivity slider. * Controls stop after winning game.
@tsaot Thanks. I'm wondering if I should give them like red glowing eyes or something when they attack so people feel less bad about shooting them.
Oh, I just pushed updated version that has an aim sensitivity slider. I kept the default the same for now.
Screenshot 2024-10-14 215700.png
@master-yeet Thanks for posting that. Strange, I saw that error and initially dismissed it as minor since it was not crashing for me. Anyway, I did fix that error. The one with the fix is at ldJam56-tinyCreatures-latest.zip from https://stuckne1.itch.io/tiny-creature-blaster/download/9pHIoQ4AmVb_VbeOjtBbrOxv2TBN8RSaJ5xkYG8w.
@ale Awesome, I'm glad the Linux version is working fine.
Hmm...yea you are right...I could definitely make another FPS game starting with this. Oh, I might have to get rid of those signs.
I have not seen Squirrel Stapler, but I'm going to check it out, thanks!
@master-yeet Thanks again for trying again, I really appreciate you trying to help me with this.
I tried your suggestion and embedded the pck into the exe for the latest windows build if you want to try again lol. It's the ldJam56-tinyCreatures-latest.zip from https://stuckne1.itch.io/tiny-creature-blaster/download/9pHIoQ4AmVb_VbeOjtBbrOxv2TBN8RSaJ5xkYG8w, I just replaced it.
@master-yeet Ah bummer! Yea, I'm really confused why it doesn't work on your machine lol. Well, thanks again for trying.
I spent a bunch of time playing this because it was awesome. Great job!
Cute game. I loved how the cute little mushrooms were holding knives. I really liked the level and the stylized graphics as well.
Very straight forward to play and it has pretty graphics. Nice audio too!
It's solid! I really love the sticking to the ceiling. Great art and sound too!
I like the idea of the game, but I found it to be very difficult. Could be a skill issue I suppose lol.
I found the instant respawn to be good for getting back into the action quickly, but I felt like I was dying a lot more than I expected.
This was great! The commentary was funny and it was challenging. I liked the graphics a lot as well.
First off, This was awesome and my favorite so far! I just tried Alien Isolation last night and this gave me similar vibes!
I thought the level design was really good and it seemed like the difficulty was slowing ramping up. I got really excited when I found that gun. I had actually gotten frustrated at first and quit because I had just woken up and I guess I wasn't ready for a challenge yet, but I was intrigued so I gave it another go and finished it lol.
Minor things: Right after getting the 2nd battery...the text still says get the batteries. I think it would have been helpful if it had sad something like...ok now power on the reactor or something. I was just initially confused because I had the batteries setup and it still said get the batteries and I didn't realize I needed to toggle another switch.
There was some minor clipping of the weapons and batteries against the environment...nothing major...just a tiny thing that fixing could add more polish to the game if you decide to spend more time on this.
Anyway, well done!
I had a blast flying through the levels in this game. I really appreciated the way the environments look and sound. This feels more like a fuller game than I was expecting (4 levels wow!)
I'm also seeing that. My GPU supports OpenGL 4.6. Screenshot 2024-10-11 061401.png
@jaker works now!
The into is really cool, but it would very beneficial to have the option to skip it (like if people come back and play again and they have already seen it).
The music is great.
I could not get pressing enter to attack, so I had to fall back to left clicking the mouse for that.
I liked the animations as well.
Great atmosphere and use of light. I was a little sad it was over so fast.
This game was a blast. It seemed a bit counter intuitive to me that the pop up was saying to press space bar to consume like it should it be done immediately. It seemed ideal to wait until the left number went as high as possible first.
I really like how chaotic it gets. It was really satisfying having a ton of pebbles.
I thought it was cool. I enjoyed the graphics and level design. Shooting wasps was fun.
The google drive link worked for me. I used the latest one (Version 1.0.3) at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1klFD5KMRzP0xlkr-ituNQBOCz0HPdcpy/view?usp=sharing
I thought the game was pretty cool. I think having some sound would make it more immersive.
It felt very polished and I really loved the art style. This is a great game for exercising vocabulary.
I think this game could be expanded upon...new biomes, multiplayer, different modes, ect.. Anyway, great job!
Oh, I stepped on a bunch of turtles the first time around thinking I was collecting them. I thought the sound effects were funny, especially the sound of the seagull eating a turtle.
I really loved the art style. I felt like movement speed was a bit slow though (even while sprinting).
@orlov-nikolay ah, yea, I might need to just lower the volume on that or add a volume adjuster in game. Thanks.
@ira-baciu Thanks! I will address that soon.
@eggnisi Hmm...yea I should probably add physics to the door. Yea, I need to adjust the desert a bit. That is a good point. Thanks.
@elmos-minion Thanks! Yea, that makes sense.
@nef1k yea that is a good point. I just pushed an update based on some of the feedback. Thanks!
@garyglhf Thanks! Yea, it seems like i need to work on making the levels smaller and more interesting.
@solvenoff I was a little over ambitious on how much content and detail I could add. I will for sure try do a smaller more detailed level. I like the locked doors, keys, and enemies suggestion. I plan to make some follow up changes. Thanks.
Oh, thanks for calling that out...I hadn't noticed a shift with the cursor. I really like the web version idea.
@maimai I'm glad the sounds help. I will make some adjustments. Thanks for the feedback.
@nanaschi1984 Oh. Maybe I can optimize it a bit better.
@eugenik Thank you.
@b0guslaw Thank you. Yea, I think I may have gotten carried away. Those are really good points. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks.
@nbumgardner For sure. Oh yea, auto walk or a vehicle or something would really help on a larger map. Thanks.
@nanaschi1984 I pushed a version with graphics options if you want to try again
version 1.1.1 Just press escape to pause and then click settings.
Screenshot 2025-10-12 121817.png
@tardis2snej Yea, that's fair. Thank you!
@5h08 Oh, maybe I can walk steps optional sound effect or take a different approach on that. Thanks.
@alchemic Oh, yea kind of have to click into the window a bit...it's a little janky...I probably need to make an adjustment so that it starts out correctly.
I'm glad that made sense...I wasn't sure how many people would see the third location.
Yea, I understand. I think I may have spent too much time trying to decide what to make instead of actually making and then I ended up rushing to finish something. Lesson learned. Thank you for the feedback.
Just finished it, good stuff! Loved the puzzles, graphical effects, and sound. I also loved the death animation...I killed myself a few times to see it again and then died a few more times on accident after that.
(Using a Mac, I ended up needing to use Firefox over Chrome and Safari for it to render correctly. Just a quick note for anyone using one if they run into issues.)
I think a little ambient sound would add a lot, but it was pretty and interesting.
Wow! I won! The entire experience was very tense though. Lol, this is the one of the darker takes on the theme I have seen so far...love it!
Anyway, yea the directions popping up quickly on the posts really helped with getting around. I managed to only die once. This was really solid. Very interesting level.
I love the art and sound.
Sweet graphics. I liked the game, but yea I kept dropping things over and over and it was hard to progress and keep all of the mushrooms. (I just had to give up on some mushrooms because they were close to wall).
I thought it was cool. I think some nature sounds could really liven it up a bit. The graphics style of the beaver reminds a bit of Conker in Conker's Bad Fur day lol (not a kids game).
Nice graphics. I enjoyed the experience.
Love the graphics, sound, and atmosphere!
Pretty sick game, loved the 3d graphics combined with 2d. I may have run into a glitch or maybe I did something wrong, but after a few customers...I couldn't seem to repair anymore and I just got completely stuck. (I couldn't seem to repair the hat...the one with bullets around it, and then after that I couldn't repair a sword/handle again like I did before).
Visuals are nice, but yea I found it hard to collect anything. I think it needs a bit of work.
The music track kept cutting out...maybe it was part of the sound track, but it felt glitchy to me. Unless that was intentional? Walking around seemed very slow. I couldn't tell what what the win conditions were (how many days of picking up trash to win). I thought the character model and room looked good though. I think some instructions and explanation could really help.
Please update the link =)
I really love the artwork. I won! Took me a sec to realize I needed to use the mouse to destroy the objects. I agree with the other feedback that some sound effects could really liven up the game.
This game looks really cool and the controls are nice. I am struggling to win this though lol.
Love this game. Even the UX of the menus looks good. I didn't even notice the very subtle score in the background until like a 4th run. It's interesting that it's there, but it doesn't distract.
The whole thing just fits together well. I did a bunch of runs and was gradually getting better. I feel like I will have to check out your other games now.
I had fun playing this. Nice work.
Awesome art style! The spinning made me a little motion sick, but I think that is more a of a me problem.
I had a bit of a hard time navigating, I'm just struggling with the controls a bit.
Anyway, I still thought this was really cool.
Minor nitpick: could probably hide the mouse cursor
@jk5000 Thanks, yea kind of ran of out time lol.
@enriranjan Thanks. Yea, I didn't quite make it to adding real assets lol. I wanted to add sound too.
@volkolak Yea, more rooms sounds fun and a multi tool would be cool. I might work on a post jam version. Thanks.
@graebor Nice! yea the drone was pushing the "pressure plate" (lol I know it just looks like a slab) to open the door. Some rooms require that along with another signal like not being seen by the camera/scanner. I'm hoping to iterate a bit and improve things.
@amirrajan Thanks! Yea, that seems like good idea...I have been wanting to make things more obvious.
@python-b5 Thanks, I want to add more levels then! Being seen by the surveillance cameras shuts the exit door, but pausing the camera would override that and just reopen it for a bit. Some rooms need more than 1 signal to open the door though...like drone on pressure plate and not being seen by the camera. Yea, I think you are right though...this could use some improvement.
Oh yea, the progress part was kind of unfinished. I think I probably either need to reset progress or maybe just put the player back at the beginning of the room they died in... Thanks!
@ben-morledge-hampton Thank you! Yea, I'll try to expand things a bit and add some sound. I will try to. Thanks!
@illiteratelexicon Thank you! Yea, it's definitely bare-bones!
@jynxaudio Yea, the pause on scanners was kind of optional since it was possible to get past it without using that. Maybe the first time it's introduced there shouldn't be a way to just run past it. Yea, that's a good point, maybe having more distance with the hacks could help make the puzzles more versatile as well. Thanks.
@neshtyak Yea, I spent too much time trying to decide what to make instead of making the game lol. Thanks!
@apt-prose7 Glad you liked it, thanks.
@fabelay Portal such a great game! I didn't do all the things I wanted to do, but leaning into an "under construction" setting on purpose seems like a great idea too . Yea, I think the scanner and pause command could be a bit better designed. Thanks!
@snk Nice! Okay, I might add more stuff. Thanks!
@ping78 Thank you =)
@allax Yea, that's fair. Thanks for the feedback.
I had fun with this. I liked the how the tower was in view for awhile before you could get to it. Walking through the forest was nice. Forcing limited use of the flash light and stamina definitely forced a bit more caution.
The monster got me several times, the first time was the worst though. I just saw in the corner of my eye on the phone.
Oh, I got up to 73% signal strength and ran out of resources lol. I kept crashing scouts into walls and losing them so I guess that was my bad.
I thought it was fun though.
Alright, I beat it! Pretty cool, one thing you could do is add a time for how long it took to make first contact.
I had to restart after I realized you would get hard locked.
I thought the adjacent effects was interesting.
I loved the graphics. I was impressed with how good this Godot web exported game looks (I feel like there are definitely some constraints with Godot and web export.)
Took me a tries, but I ended up finding the keys!
The dialogue was hilarious.
Nitpicky stuff: I ended up walking through some building on the right at the start. Also, I saw a dialog window around the first girl briefly and then it disappeared (maybe that was a glitch?). I couldn't get that dialogue window to come back.
I thought it was fun, I didn't finish though, I was struggling to lock on to the signal in some areas (probably just a lack of patience on my part). I liked the dialog in the game. Loved the old school windows interface and vibe of the game.
I thought it was fun. It's satisfying to watch large groups of these things die.
I thought the game looked cool and the UI looked nice. I wasn't entirely sure what all of the buttons on the left of move the movement stick were for. Maybe they slightly changing movement speed? Also, it felt a little repetitive, but I liked the game.
Seems pretty cool. I had a hard time progressing forward though...I probably just need a bit more patience. The graphics are nice too. I think adding sound effects would make this a lot more awesome.
