The idea is fun and I had fun trying the game. It's also clear the game is a bit unfinished. But overall an interesting little jam game.

I like the idea of being like a spy, even though it's made of blocks—the mechanics are really fun to play with.
@jk5000 Thanks, yea kind of ran of out time lol.
@enriranjan Thanks. Yea, I didn't quite make it to adding real assets lol. I wanted to add sound too.
Cool, I'd like more rooms. And for authenticity, maybe add some kind of multi-tool to the hero's hands. It's interesting to quickly overcome obstacles.
@volkolak Yea, more rooms sounds fun and a multi tool would be cool. I might work on a post jam version. Thanks.
I won! Took me a sec to figure out what was going on, and I don't think I ever understood what moving the drones was doing, but I managed to stumble through.
I can definitely see potential in this! Love the minimalist graphics and the level progress was well done. Some of the elements and the interaction within the game weren't immediately obvious (maybe add test such as "Hack block", or "Hack camera", or "Hack gun".
There are some neat mechanics here, but the game really needed some more levels - it ended just as all the mechanics had been introduced! I was a bit confused by the surveillance cameras, as being caught by one didn't seem to do anything? Perhaps the hitbox is just really generous.
I noticed an oddity after I died near the end by accidentally redirecting the turret toward myself. I respawned at the start of the game, but all my progress was preserved, including the redirection that had killed me, so all I had to do was walk to the end. Not sure if that's a bug or not, though.
Short and sweet! The base mechanics here have a lot of potential, and it would be nice to see them expanded a bit. Some music and sound effects would also bring a lot of life to the game. Still, what you got done during the jam is impressive, and I hope you keep working on it!
@graebor Nice! yea the drone was pushing the "pressure plate" (lol I know it just looks like a slab) to open the door. Some rooms require that along with another signal like not being seen by the camera/scanner. I'm hoping to iterate a bit and improve things.
@amirrajan Thanks! Yea, that seems like good idea...I have been wanting to make things more obvious.
@python-b5 Thanks, I want to add more levels then! Being seen by the surveillance cameras shuts the exit door, but pausing the camera would override that and just reopen it for a bit. Some rooms need more than 1 signal to open the door though...like drone on pressure plate and not being seen by the camera. Yea, I think you are right though...this could use some improvement.
Oh yea, the progress part was kind of unfinished. I think I probably either need to reset progress or maybe just put the player back at the beginning of the room they died in... Thanks!
@ben-morledge-hampton Thank you! Yea, I'll try to expand things a bit and add some sound. I will try to. Thanks!
Goodjob! Definitely fairly bare-bones in the current state but i really like the ideas! Thanks for making it
Not sure what the point of getting the pause functionality was, since I was able to just walk through the door at the right time and ignore the green light both times, but the concept has potential. Probably worth trying to just have one complete puzzle that uses your mechanics instead of trying to have multiple unfinished ones, but I like the idea. Perhaps have the signals be sent from a distance too? as it kind of felt like I was physically interacting with objects rather than sending signals to them.
The game looks unfinished, but the mechanics do work so the idea is clear. I liked this idea with hacking things, nice puzzle. Good job!
A fun way to kill time, very entertaining.
Great Portal vibes! Loved the game! that it looks "under construction" is a believable design choice, because it might be lab conditions. Played through until I was about to get washed 🙈 The only moment I was really stuck, was when I needed to hack the scanner. I didnt even think about this possibility way too long. Nice!
@illiteratelexicon Thank you! Yea, it's definitely bare-bones!
@jynxaudio Yea, the pause on scanners was kind of optional since it was possible to get past it without using that. Maybe the first time it's introduced there shouldn't be a way to just run past it. Yea, that's a good point, maybe having more distance with the hacks could help make the puzzles more versatile as well. Thanks.
@neshtyak Yea, I spent too much time trying to decide what to make instead of making the game lol. Thanks!
@apt-prose7 Glad you liked it, thanks.
@fabelay Portal such a great game! I didn't do all the things I wanted to do, but leaning into an "under construction" setting on purpose seems like a great idea too :slight_smile:. Yea, I think the scanner and pause command could be a bit better designed. Thanks!
I made it! :spy: it took me a sec to undertand the mechanics, but once I did I managed to navigate through the rooms and "puzzles". The second time I died I audibly gasped "noo!!" :laughing: if you'll decide to expand it (maybe adding rooms and/or levels) and polish it a bit, I'd like to play this again :)
@snk Nice! Okay, I might add more stuff. Thanks!
I liked the atmosphere in this game. The puzzle mechanics were nice. Nicely done.
@ping78 Thank you =)
It's too short and a very strange game. I'd even say I don't even see it as a game, because you're literally led by the hand until the very end.
@allax Yea, that's fair. Thanks for the feedback.
