Nice concept of factorio. Nice c++ ! Fun
I see factory, I build factory :) Nice upgrade loop, really my only complaint is that I ran out of upgrades to (collect) get - would've been fun to see a zoomed out version of the map after getting the final upgrade, towards the end I was just dumping as many t3 oxygen collectors as possible to get the final upgrade
I love number go up! Honestly had a ton of fun playing this. I love the leaderboard too. Great work!
casual factorio!
The leaderboard was a neat touch at the end! Really smooth game, so satisfying to place down a bunch of machines
Great execution of a simplified factory game! It was a bit hard to see where the bottle necks were, but otherwise great!
Fun game, at the end I researched all the technologies and built a whole bunch of researchers. -J
hey this is pretty good
Played for a while, very nice concept and addictive game. 10/10
Like the game and it's super satisfying to research everything. Wish you had done other icons for the flasks at least have difference colors so it matches the upgrade itself. also this could work in a way smaller world. But hé 20 hours and in c++ its sick !
As a factorio nerd, i obviously love this! I like the fact that the game loop mixes a bit of cliker/incremental with factory game, i found this a very nice blend of styles!
Just a great game, really nice :).
I went through some of your source code and saw some calls to SDL. I see where you are using the OpenGL hook. How long have you been working on the engine and most importantly:
How did you get emscripten to work with SDL. Can you use the external libraries because I use SDL_mixer for the music. I loved programming in the SDL VS Studio environment but these game jams pretty much need the game playable in a browser window.
If you could throw any guidance my way it would be greatly appreciated.
By the way the game is awesome. Plays well, graphics simple yet effective, chill game. One of the few games in this builder genre that I was willing to play.
Had a good time vibing and drawing funny patterns with the Pur air tier 3, I liked that they were a single pixel. Was a lot of fun to zoom out and just look around. Impressive for only 20 hours!! Also I think I managed to the get the absolute lowest spot in the rankings LMAO Screenshot 2025-10-10 at 01.48.05.png
made factorio in c++ in 3 days, damn.
Great game, great vibes, it want me to start factorio...
Wow nice!

Played a bunch, the game feels good, the devices take surprisingly long time to lag me out. Great job!
@beebster-games The engine is something I made for some jam maybe 2 years ago. After that, I've been copy pasting the previous jam game, deleting the gameplay code, and making a new game for whatever jam I'm participating in, adding new engine features as necessary.
There is nothing special you have to do to get SDL and emscripten working together. You can look at my build_em.bat and platform_emscripten.cpp
You can use SDL mixer, in fact, I was doing that 2 jams ago, but it didn't have support for something I wanted (can't remember what it was), so I'm directly messing with the audio samples now using just SDL (shared_between_platforms.h)
Fun automation game, it plays like it looks like it would. I thought the boxes in the middle would unlock into something or let me place upgrades into them, yet it seems more of a reminder of the 3 tiers of buildings.
