The concept is excellent, the play is good, but the game is no where near completed. Keep at it!!

The concept is excellent, the play is good, but the game is no where near completed. Keep at it!!
Well done, a really good effort
game is bugged. Went of the edge and had to use task manager to get out. Needs some work
The game is GREAT. Easy to get addicted to. Well done.
Game controls are too seneitive, game goal not clear. Nice graphics though
Game is unclear how to play. There are no real instructions. Could not get out of game without using task manager. Sorry brother
Its not a bad game but the controls need a lot of work. The idea is excellent, and the play is excellent, just the controls are bad
A very good game, but the timers could be l;ooked at. Also, how do you get to the next level
Sorry bro, wont run on my box. The idea is good, the graphics, but I couldn't play it
The game was well rpogrammed and the format was excellent. Well done
Hitting the space bar did not pick up the hand greneade, but all in all a fun experience
you have made an excellent game, a real keeper. I usually delete the game I look at but yours I am going to keep and continue playing.
Thanks for then heads up of where you got your graphics from.
BTW, I still haven't found any anomalies!!!
Well Done!!! Nicely done! I really like it. Best game I ahve played so far!!
This game is well done, very well done. You have an excellent interface, a well thought out story.
It's Infidel, meets Leisure Suit Larry. Infocom and Sierra Online.
Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.
What type of interface did you use in Unity? Did you use their UI Handler? Was it setup for 2D?
Just curious.
Game is pretty good. Tried to gather and place in the monument a second time and it would not let me do that
Sounds like a good game, but it just sent me to a github. Are we supposed to compile it and play it?
So, the scenery was exceptional. Need obstacles on the road, a clear and defined goal, and got to be able to go much faster
Just an excellent game. Very innovative, well done
I liked the graphics, the sound. There was no animation for your character, could not find anything, and not sure of the goal
Dude!!! Well done!! An excellent game!! Well programmed, well designed, simple graphics abnd sound.
Just a job well done. Thakn you for taking the time to code up this idea.
Game ran very well, just not quiote sure of the point of the game. add som monsters, more walls to your level. A little background music, and a definite goal.
Game was good though and ran flawlessly
I made it to 77 seconds, then I stayed on the platform, the platform disappeared but I just floated in the water with the timer still running. Is that what they call and 'undocumented program feature'?JPCA-Avoid the Drown-0.2_20220408_053704.png
As soon as I started the game I said, "Woe, this looks like one of my Valheim builds!". Thanks for taking the tinme to make the game. It is an excellent start that could mean something really special
Excellent game, everything about it is perfect. You did a great job. Not sure how to exit the game when I want to quit.
Game was unplayable. Locked up my computer. Not intuituive at all. Sorry, brother but has issues
Well done. Excellent game. Hard to play. Should take a look at the level generator and make it easier in the beginning and harder later on
Game works well. Too long to kill enemies, and especially the statues. You can trp the monsters so they dont mover and just shoo them
Game looks like great fun, too bad I can't run it.
Forest Game Crash Info.png
Finally!!! Finally!!! Got to the second level!! What an exceptional game. You have done very well
Nice game, plaed flawlessly. Well done
I liked the game a lot. The shooting by using the mouse to aim is excellent. Thanks for taking the time to make the game
On install started asking if I wanted to allow the install to make changes to my device. Sorry, I had a hard pass on that one.
I have saved it now as a zip file, hope that makes it a bit safer. I understand not wanting anything installed on your rig.
LOL!! It is supposed to get tougher at level 50. Well done brother, I will have to adjust the Tokens and the Goal Score.
Thanks for playing the game, and well done on level 121!!!
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a look and adjust the scoring routines.
The instructions were written by me, I'm left handed so nobody understands.
The idea is to raise your score above the goal using the least amount of icons. The reason you do that is because all of the icons have a point value and the ones that remian when you exceed the goal are carried over to the next level which makes it easier to get through the next level.
As an example:
Goal: 5000 Score: 0 When you reach 5000 you go to the next level. Whatever is left on the board will caryy over, in this case lets say 3000 points were left to carry over so the next level looks like
Goal: 5000 Score: 3000
So, you can see how much easier it will be to get to 5000. This allows you to accumulate tokens.
The later levels are harder and the goals are higher and the question marks hurt more than help. The goal is to plan a strategy to get your tokens really high so when you run out of scoring icons you can spend those.
I hope that helps explain a little better, I am not very good at explaining stuff.
Nice score RonanRory!! Those tokens go quick after 60. Thank you so much for posting the results, and thanks for playing my game.
Its always great fun to hear the comments of those who have played a game I have made.
If you have some suggestions on how to improve the game of make it more intriguing I would love to hear them.
Actually 68 is pretyy darn good, congratulations! Thanks for taking the time to download and play
@benjamin-humes That is an excellent suggestion, and i will definitely do that. Thank you for your help.
Excellent game concept, simple yet fun. I have a hard time with the game because I have always had trouble with the WASD key movement. My favorite movement interface is World of Warcraft, no keys, just mouse for the movement.
That is my only criticism, other than that, well done.
By the way, there is a Unity tutorial on how to code Warcraft like movement: https://youtu.be/526OvMqEk_M
Well written. good job, Thanks for the effort
Buddy, you did really good!! That was really fun. Thanks for the great play
The rocket controls are difficult at best. The idea is good, the sound and graphics but it was very difficult to play
Good game play, actually excellent game play. Found that you can bunch up the old guys in the corners and along the edge to get big kills.
Thanks for the game play!
@zgragselus Brother, I just loved your game. It was exceptional.
Could you share the math you used for throwing the package, as well as the physics for the box bouncing around. I know a lot of it is part of the physics in the object, but I am not sure the math is.
Again, just a great job.
The idea is very good, the graphics weren't too bad either. Thanks for the play
That was great fun. I had a bit of a time in the beginning but then I figured it out. Thanks for the play, you did a good job considering the conditiions
The game was confusing at first, then the more I played it it seemed to get a bit better. The music, sound effects and graphics were excellent
wow, this is a great game. well done. The only change I would make is to allow the worm to change directions whichever way the mouse is pointing
@quinn Graphics, and sound was good, but the game could have been a bit more challenging. Thanks for the play
Nice job with the math, but no combos eh?
Thanks for the great play
Very well done game. It is a bit frustrating at times, and the packages come a little fast in the beginning. All in all it is a well programmed idea
So I fed and watered 2 NPCs. Ran around until then leather on my shoes ran out.
So, mini-map, more NPCs, add a monster or two. But all in all it wasn't bad
Good game, yeah, red lights suck for me too now
Sorry bro, but the game would not run on my box. The music starts then it dies
The graphics were just wonderful, the mood was excellent. Things seem a bit crowded though
I loved your game. I think he meant by instructive elements we didn't know where to drop the box, if we could pick up multiple boxes, we can't move forward of back, if you go to fast and hit a curb the box pops off. Stuff like that.
The game was superior though and the game play was just excellent. Thank you for a great play
Great game, but, my wife came in and told me she would take my speakers because of the irritating sound of the coin being picked up.
Overall pretty good, the space ship controls are too sensitive. Lower your rotation speed and that might help
The music is good, the graphics were excellent. Why didn't you just add a player and have him walk around? It was a little awkward with moving the entire map to get somewhere.
Your idea is solid, but the actual game play was, tedious
What a frustrating and really fun game. My eyeballs got bleary
Wow, just Wow!!! Well done guys. Superior game play, easy to understand controls. Friction was just perfect. Thanks for the great play
The idea of the packages building the character was excellent. The game play needs some work. The fighting graphics need a lot of work. Keep at it, add some polish to the game
The game is great, but the only thing I would mention is that your collision boxes for your merchants and such are not being prioritized very well. Too many times I clicked on one thing and got another.
Other than that it was a good play
You did an excellent job with this game. Thank you for the great play!
Had some trouble understanding if I chose the route, or it it was automatic. Not sure of the game goal. Had some trouble clicking on boxes in full screen
A very innovative try, well done. The graphics were interesting
The game wasn't bad. The fighting needs some work. The music was good, the dog animations are excellent.
Thanks for the play
you know, I almost didn't play this, but I did. I spent almost 40 minutes playing. I had 8 ships, and over $500,000 dollars.
I just didn't understand why I couldn't get the planets that did not have a direct route. I got it to work a couple of times, but most of the time I just could not get the route to work.
How do I do that?
By the way the graphics were exceptional, the music phenomenal, the game play was very very good
I will say this, out of the all the games I have played today, you have been by far the most addicting
Your game is like a tower defense game with hair on it. I couldn't find a lot of resources but you did a really good job. Very inspirational for ideas for game I could write. Thanks
Your game was excellent. well, programmed, easy to play, and fun as well. I can't add anything to your game pay, except to add more levels, different aliens, etc.
The graphics and music are good but why the shift and space key for up and down? Maybe just the mouse to navigate and the buttons for delivery.
This was just exceptional. Great music, great graphics, super idea, but, the controls are way too sensitive. The newest version of World of Warcraft implemented solo flying. It was so very well done. You should watch some videos on that and see how they handle the flying controls.
Thanks for the great play.
The game was programmed very well, works very smoothly. However, it does need some tweaking. The price for upgrades is very high. I also only stumbled upon using the arrow keys to move down the loading dock. I might have missed it in the documentation. Also, A and D key to move up and down the dock. Also an arrow on either side of the play window to move down the dock.
Game is good though, and I had fun playing it
Controls were laggy, and unresponsive. Could hardly move at all. Sorry man, but the game played rough
can't download the file, something about scanning for viruses
Nice concept, I might take it and make a live game out of it
Controls are just too difficult to use. After a few minutes it became so frustrating
So, I am not much of a simulator player, but I gave it a try. In a Jam it is usually better to try something quick and flashy. I might come back to this later and spend more time with the game. As for now, as a Jam submission it was a bit to cerebral for me.
So, I hit 9 out of 10 oranges, 9 out of 10 apples, and 9 out of 10 grapefruit. I made four bottles of juice. I was hoping that would be enough to get me to level 2.
The game is fun, but, I wish it had more levels
The game was great. Well done, and programmed very well. I didn't deliver any packages as they were always across town. Perhaps allow for multiple pickups, multiple deliveries, extended time. Maybe?
It was not what I expected, pleasnatly so.
I got an error on a shader fragment. If you are using Vulkan for your engine then that could be a problem on older boxes like my.
On the other hand, gratz for trying to build your own engine, you are a better man than I am Gunga Din
It works now. I had not published on itch.io, it was still in draft.
Sorry
Thank you all for your comments, it is greatly appreciated
I will look at the mouse clicks, like Diablo IV
Thanks for the input, I will add more juice to the skellies. The explosions were underground mines placed by the Sorceress. They are pretty easy to shutoff
Those are both great ideas, the signs and shutting off the mines. I could do the mine shutting off with maybe a dialogue window with some buttons in it maybe, of find a chest that has an orb that you carry to keep the mines from going off.
Thanks for playing my game, it is greatly appreciated
I don't know why I did the bombs. from all the comments they really kind of 'bombed'. I was trying to keep the health down so you had to pick up the hearts. Also, the more you fight the skellies and kill them the faster the sword is. I should have probably mentioned that
@valyn-tyler Sorry to hear that. Which version of windows, and do you have anything unusual when it comes to your configuration? I'd like you to be able to play the game
@shooting-star Thank you for your input. Which menu were you talking about?
@paulsams Greetings brother. So, because of your comment I will update the game play explanation. Thank you for your guidance, I really appreciate it.
@yoddaa The arrows are a great idea, I also thought about a mini map aw well
@ardorugus I appreciate the thought. Thank you very much. I will continue my journey
@whywhy I really appreciate your constructive critique and all your good words. Thank you.
@coderaurus Thank you for taking the time to play my game. I am adding some stuff in and I am going to make it more of a quest thing. There will still be fighting but there will be quests that have to be completed.
Thanks again for all the help, you were not alone with the mines, they are pretty loud.
@kanity Thanks for playing the game, I really appreciate it. I am going to update the documentation to reflect attack and movement.
Thank you so much for your critique
@kler Thank you so much for you input, it is greatly appreciated. When I first made the game I had a hidden path that when run into would immediately kill you. You would then start over and try to figure out the path from your deaths. In addition I laid bread crumbs behind you so that you could see the pattern of your path. The goal of the game at that point was to just get to the grave without dying. When I changed the entire game I left the mince out of nostalgia.
Thanks for the input on the controls, I will take a look at that and see what I can do.
@tomtomgome Thank you for downloading and playing my game, I really appreciate it.
Now, I really like the armor idea. That is much better than the way I did it. Easier to program too. Hopefully I will get some time to adjust the mechanics of the game.
Thanks again for playing!
Hey @martta, thanks for the input. you are exactly right, I WAAAAY over scoped this game. Next time, single screen, something simple, with good music, sound, and graphics.
The mines and the skellies have been a problem since time immemorial. This is what happens when the game changes three times during development and you don't get rid of anything.
Thanks again for the input, it is always appreciated!
Thank you @gurtek I appreciate any and all input. I didn't know about the movement lock, and my menu system could use some work just like you suggested.
I am glad you enjoyed your playing the game. Thank you so much for your help
@sylf Yeah, there are so many explosions it kind of looks like that. Thanks for playing!!
@dongle The mines are a bit of a problem for many of the players. If I update this version of the game I really like the idea of a visual warning in order to avoid them.
When you said "As it stands, it feels like the game is punishing players for exploring, which can be a bit frustrating", it triggered something my wife said. That a game is supposed to be fun, not frustrating.
Thanks for all of your input and help, and thank you for playing my game.
@pkenney Your critique is excellent. Many of the things you have mentioned are right on the money. The combat needs a lot of work. I tweaked all that I could before submission, but it just wasn't enough. I tried adding the health bars above the enemies for a little feedback, but it got so confusing when there were a bunch of skellies.
And yes, there was a pumpkin. Originally I had an invisible path that you needed to follow to get to the grave. If you deviated from the path it was instant death. In order to figure out the path I had the game leave little pumpkins behind like bread crumbs. So, I left the path in and just allowed it to damage you and I took the pumpkin bread crumbs out.
Thanks so much for your input. it is greatly appreciated. I learned for my next Ludum Dare to bring the scope down to something much more manageable.
The programming was good, the music was good. The game play was just a bit too twitch for me.
cant get to the DL page brother...
I like your concept. If you cannot fire when you have the pizza then when you put it down you should be able to fire with the WASD setup. Maybe try that.
I recognize the little guy from my game. You have a pretty big map, well done for all of the work making the map. I have no real advice, you did a great job. 2D TileMaps are great fun!
Ok so. I got to the play screen, and no snail, just some abilities, and what looks like smoke coming out of the ground. I hit escape to leave the game and it would not let me out, had to use close window.
I'm sure everything is great but I could not play the game, or escape and leave.
@durkagames Okay, I DLed it again and played it again. It is very very good, I changed my scoring for you. You should make more of the puzzles. Thnaks
@durkagames You bet bro...
Well done! Long walk to town. You did an excellent job. Never did find the guy to bring the grain to
Excellent job, Well done!!!
Just one suggestion, add using the right mouse button for the delivery.
good job!!!
Good game, actually great game. Playability was excellent. Thanks for the great play
Just an excellent game. Very well done. The best part was the pointing arrow after you picked up the package. Good job
The programming of the game is excellent, it is just a bit too twitchy for me
What a good game. Very Well done. Thanks for enjoyable play
The game was excellent. The only thing is that you need to trap the mouse inside the game as I have two monitors and it was escaping the game play area.
It is a good game, great graphics, great music, the fog effect for the wind was very good
I have played it several times, the timer is too fast, or we need to be able to run, or we need to be able to pick up more than one thing
It might have been great fun, except for the whole VR only thing.
Well, its not a bad game, but the controls were very clunky. It was also impossible to tell how close or how far away you were. You probably could have used controls like an Asteroids type game. I Godot 4 that kind of a controller is five lines of code.
But the graphics were good, the bird was great
You have a solid game with a great idea. Good job on your game. Thanks for the game play. You could add a mini map and put more red doors in, that might be cool
WarningScreen.png
Latvia and Russian...
This was just a superior game. The only thing is quitting, I had to use task manager
The game was really very good. Speed was good, concept was good. The only real criticism I have is that the right mouse button should be for dropping the babies as well
Sorry bro, but when I got this:
cookie.png
I left the game.
Cookie Message.png
game play is a bit rough but the graphics were good. A bigger gaming field would have been perfect
I just have this to say. 1, 14, 9, 40.5. Thanks for the great play. I never did get back to the end of the street
Yeah, the chair was hard to see at the bottom of the screen. It was a fun game, wish I had more time to spend on it.
Thanks for the play
Took to long for the mail boxes to show. Music gets a bit monotonous
It is a very well programmed game. Very involved.
The game was not bad at all. The idea is very good. The controls were very well done.
Well done, could use a few more monsters, a little more excitement, but it was good. Thanks
I am not sure what the game was, I quit after about 45 seconds.
There is no executable, and I have worked with SDL2 before and it will generate an executable, I just didn't see yours.
I looked at the code and I see where you have the correct headers and such. Just compile, and zip up the dlls for SDL2.dll and SDL2_image.dll and send it on its way.
By the way, the music and graphics look pretty good
Nicely done game, well programmed. I can see a little AI in there for the X's spawning and the brief case
@oleksunder The game graphics, sound, and music are good. The controls were way too sensitive
I got an error running it as my browser will not allow any reads from my computer
Well done game, tough to figure out what I had to do, but it was pretty good. Thnaks
You have a great game! It was such fun. Your physics are phenomenal!!
It was pretty good. The placing of the packages was a bit awkward, but other than that the idea was great.
Just an excellent. Well done. Good idea to increase timer when you pick up the pizza. Thanks for the great play!
Never did see the basket, just pressed the button and got points.
It took almost five minutes to download this game to play in a browser. That's not good. I understand because it is Unity and it takes up so much space.
I played for 2 mins, after that I just left the game.
You did a pretty good job with your game. Not sure what the end goal was
The download version doesn't seem to work. The HTML version is in french it looks like.
I had to use task manager to kill the downloaded version
I keep getting a javascript error when filling the gold thingy. I think this is a Unity problem not a game problem. Try to publish your game as a straight Unity executable rather than a WebGL game.
The game itself is very cool. I enjoyed what I could play of it.
I just downloaded the windows version and that version was great!!
Thanks
The screen was too large to display whatever is on the bottom of the screen.
I could not play the game, sorry
@sozey What an exceptional game. So very well done. Kept my interest for longer than I wanted too. Going to play it again.
You can be proud of this work brother...
@coatline You have the beginnings of a very nice RPG game. You could probably cut down on all of the conversation, but other than that it was good.
How to download the game to play.
It actually looks like a good game.
Too bad it was two player only
The game was excellent. Well done. I especially liked the keyboard game!
You could lose all the gabbing in between and just focus on the puzzles more.
All in all a very nice experience.
@s1l3jamal
What an excellent concept. The spirits have the run of the prison to help you escape. Very very innovative!!
Well done. I tried to play full screen, yeah, that didn't work
I played it for a bit. Just not my kind of game. I was more curious than anything.
Thanks for the play.
The play screen showed up in the upper right hand corner. It was way too dark for me to play.
Sorry brother
This looks to be a very good game. Maybe not for a Jam. We usually only spend 5 mins between DL, playing, and commenting. This game needs more time than that.
Well. Not sure how to kill the first boss. Not even sure what was the first boss. Controls a bit too sensitive.
You should add a bit more documentation, perhaps a video of playing?
Not sure where the summoning was. Actually never saw any summoning. It was in 3D though so that is something.
This was a great game. Nicely done. Graphics were top notch.
The only thing are the controls. You need to fix it so whatever direction you are facing you walk in that way. Use the mouse to point the character in the correct direction not the WASD keys
Other than that, well done
Not a bad game, but there are some things:
1. Upgrade graphics a bit 2. Find some background music. freesound.org has great stuff 3. I could not pick up more than one thing. Need an inventory 4. Got lost in the dungeon, need some kind of bread crumb code 5. The cooking thing seems to be an after thought
Thanks for the game.
@landerack
Yeah, I played it again. No musical background mood music. It would help.
Also, I needed to use taskmaster to kill your game so I could exit. You should have a default ESC key to leave the game at any time.
Tetris with round heads. Nice twist with the fighting.
Nothing to add, the game is very good.
@javid-ladhani
Sorry, but didn't manage to summon anything. The actual game play is great except for the fact that you have to use the 'WASD' keys rather than just pressing 'W' and use the mouse to change directions. I had to use Windows TaskManager to finally kill the game to get out.
I wanted to play but summoning was not very clear to me
EDIT: I went back and played again asking the head Wizard dude if I had the right stuff and he gave me hints.
So. 1. Get you assignment from the Wizard. Look for clues in the assignment. 2. Go around and pick up things you think might complete the summoning recipe. 3. Present what you have to the Wizard. 4. If you have extra items that cannot be used the Wizard will tell you that. 5. If you have almost all of the items the Wizard will give you a clue as to what is still missing. 6. Once you have presented all of the correct items to the Wizard you will summon your assignment. 7. You will receive a new assignment. There are three assignments.
Hope this helps.
@javid-ladhani
Glad to help! Your game is great and a lot of fun!
The game is very nice. Works very well. The menu however was kind of jumbled and difficult to use.
Thanks for the play, it is appreciated
@zonoxx @fargred
I will say this. I played your game longer than anyone else's. To summon the Lord I got 69.43 percent. So close.
Your scoring algorithm is the bomb. The time you display the sigil for memorization and the time given to draw was spot on.
You did a tremendous job and I tip my programmers cap to you.
Thanks for an enjoyable 30 minutes.
BTW you are the only one I score 5 for all categories.
What kind of logic did you use to do the scoring
@zonoxx Well, I will say this, you did a tremendous job with the score balancing. It really makes the game work. Thanks again for your hard work
Buddy, you made a very cool game. I just loved it.
Thanks for the great game play. You really did a very nice job!!!
If this were some kind of a demo for a larger game then this was pretty good. If this is the game then it seems to be like an after thought.
The game was fairly pointless, almost as if you had all of this great mobility, great graphics, but no clear goals. It is probably me.
Yeah, its the calculation I use for the fireball. I need to use something else.
The game is hard, I might dial it down a bit.
Thanks for playing though, it is greatly appreciated.
Yeah, it was meant to spam the fireballs. It might be better if I slowed it down a bit.
Thanks for playing.
@nox282 Thanks for playing brother! I am glad you enjoyed it!
@t-c Thanks brother. I like the fireballs too. You can never have too many fireballs.
@minjutin Thanks for playing the game. I'm glad I could give you a small respite from the onslaught of strategy games.
Thank you everyone for playing the game. It does a soul good to see people enjoying ones work.
@constance Hey, thanks so much for playing the game!!!
I have it now where you hold the button down and you get a fireball about every second. I slowed the spawn rate of the Orcs a bit. Slowed the fireball spawn rate for the Orcs as well.
Thank you for the great suggestions!
@andrewbyte I made it so you could just hold the left mouse button down. I made the boundaries more visible. I put the boss fight in as well.
Thanks for playing, it is greatly appreciated!
@coatline
Hell yeah brother!!! Good job beating the game. If you get a chance the post version you just hold down the mouse to shoot the fireballs. There is also a boss level after completing the others.
Thanks again for playing!!!
@h1de0 Thank you for the good words. It is greatly appreciated. I am looking forward to Bullets Hell in a couple of weeks. It is going to be great fun.
@norabacu I have thought about that. Maybe a fire AoE. Thanks for playing the game!!!
Reminds me of the old Sierra Online games. Brings back a lot of great memories. Thanks for the great game.
Leasure-Suit-Larry.png
Could never find the player. I tried several times but the player never materialized.
Sorry but I really could not play the game
EDIT: Tried again and realized the you had to use the entities on the bar
It was a lot more fun
Very good game. Well done. You could use a better bad guy pathing system rather than just passing through everything. A* algorithm maybe?
This was a pretty good game. The spawn rate of the monsters was a bit quick for me
Thanks for the fun play
What to do after selecting the items?
@vladimik You did a nice job with the game. It was surprisingly fun! The guy could move a bit faster but it was a very good time!
What a wonderful. Takes a lot of thought but I got through the first level.
Nicely done!!!
How are you processing your dictionary for related words. How did you build your relational dictionary? How large is your dictionary?
Not sure what the goal of the game was. I just started spamming everything in hopes something would happen. I played for about 4 minutes and finally gave up.
I could not read the documentation on the itch.io site because of the font you used. You may want to change that. Something functional and not just cool to look at.
@dexitti-midifrogs
I could not for the life of me figure out the way to play. I just saw some cards with some animals.
Wow, good job. I really liked it. It was great fun.
Kind of like Pet Battles in World or Warcraft.
Thanks
I was not able to download the file. I was taken to some weird advertisement screen that looked like some kind of Virus entry point. I immediately left.
@hieu
What an extremely fun game. Great implementation of the concept. So very well done. The particle animations were spot on.
The only thing that I would do differently, and this is maybe, is I would have a panel on the bottom like Diablo with 6 slots for spells. I would have a power ball on one side, and a health ball on the other. I had to keep looking up to see if I could summon a construct.
So, the power ball fills and then each construct on the bar lights up when it is available. You can use the mouse for 2 of the most used constructs.
You did very well.
@corecraft It looks like a very interesting game. Very complex. For a JAM it may be too complex and involved. I only played for a few minutes.
You have to remember that most people playing a JAM game want to see lots of games, and play lots of games so we only spend a few minutes playing.
Sorry, but I am not downloading any extra handlers in order to play your game. It really looked it could have been fun but I would prefer my configuration left alone.
I wish you luck
Once I figured out how to play the game it was a lot easier.
OFFENSE: 1. Select all you players by clicking on the player card and placing it on the playing field. 2. Once you have selected all of your players click on one of the players you have on the field to carry the ball. 3. Move your mouse around to pick a direction you want the ball carrier to take. A white arrow will show up offering different directions to run. 4. Finally. Press the big square 'PLAY' button on the right. 5. You may have some blue vials left. Ignore them, just choose all the characters you can.
DEFENSE: 1. Select all you players by clicking on the player card and placing it on the playing field. 2. Press the big square 'PLAY' button on the right.
Hope that helps.
I took a look at the source to see if I could compile it for Windows. It looks like I can. Maybe in week or so I'll cork out the steps and run the game.
I like your tilemap handler. Looks simple but functional
The game was fun, interesting concept summoning a pet to attack. It would be cool to summon multiple pets, for multiple enemies.
Thanks for the play
@elvnish and all the Developers
The art in the game was cool. The music a little over the top.
1. Change the controls to allow the player to move in the direction the player is pointing using the mouse and the 'W' key. Like Valheim, or WoW.
2. Mouse sensitivity is way too high.
3. Movement is too fast.
4. Need boundaries to keep player from wandering off.
You have a really good idea for a game, it just needs some work.
@t-capony
Your graphics are top notch. There are several things you should consider
1. Background music to set the mood. freesound.org 2. Use the mouse to rotate the character and the 'W' key to move forward. Like Valheim and World of Warcraft 3. Your documentation needs to be a bit clearer.
Thanks for the game play.
@andrewbyte
It is not a bad game. The attack cycle is on a timer.
I picked up something but could not put i in the altar.
Had to use task manager to kill the game to exit.
The game looks like it could be fun if we had more time.
The graphics set off my UPS because my computer was drawing so much juice. Valheim does the same thing so you are in good company
I stopped playing after that.
The sound and the music were very good. The game concept is excellent.
That being said, I could not see the place where the burger was being made. Also, once the item is picked it should AUTOMATICALLY close the scroll
Thanks for the fun play.
Damn!!! That was fun!!! Got a cramp in my finger from Goblin Summoning, but yeah. Good job!!
Thanks for the fun play.
@avi What a well designed and thought out game. Never got past the rhythm section though.
I might try it later when I have more time to play.
I didn't see any summoning, so I couldn't summon up a decent rating
I really liked the game. You took a simple card game and mad it about digging. It was really good. The music was good, sound effects.
I like the little earth quake every once in awhile.
The best thing was the ability to end the turn early and reshuffle the available tools.
You have the start of a really nice game.
The controls are difficult to master. If that is the point of the game then you succeeded. However, it makes game play a challenge.
My advice use the mouse for direction and the 'W' key for moving forward. Like Valheim, or World of Warcraft. Those are excellent controls.
Thanks for the play.
Game controls were too sensitive for me. Hard to control anything. Every time you restart you have to go through the instructions again.
Maybe a video of how to play the game would be good
You download was blocked. Sorry bro
Nice game, and a very interesting idea.
I wasn't sure how it worked in the beginning but it became apparent as I played it a bit.
As an idea you could add 'W' and 'S' for forward and backward movement and have the screen get smaller and larger to match the constellation
Man, that is a really good game. It plays very well. Very fun. Sound and music are great. Controls are flawless.
Game is addicting
Thanks for the great play
You nailed it buddy boy. I had a lot of fun. The graphics were great, sound effects were good. It ran great. Good job.
Wow, what a mellow experience. It was excellent.
Not sure of a strategy, but the game plays extremely well.
Thanks for the play.
The game plays very well.
That being said.
When you have a nice shot that takes you a long way from the finger it seems to catch up immediately. That should be looked at.
How do you know the high score?
Thanks for the fun play
The game is smooth. Works good. Ghosts scared the crap outta me.
Is this a Ray Casting engine like Wolfenstein, because that is what it looks like.
Good job, this was mostly programming and a little graphics
Well, had to use Task Manager to get out of game. Pro tip, no matter where anyone is in the game they should be able to hit escape and exit.
Not sure the functionality for the game but for a game jam that needs to be clear right from the start.
Man you did good. The game was fun, the music good, graphics good, no bugs.
That being said, the movement is fine but the vacuum using the space key is tedious. I would keep the movement keys the same and use the left mouse button to vacuum.
Additionally, you could make the 'W' key move forward, to change directions just move the mouse left or right, and use the left button to collect the coins.
Just a thought.
I really liked the game. You have the beginnings of a really good game. You should take whatever ideas you have now and finish it.
Make sure you have clear documentation and maybe a video for example pay as the game is a little complex.
Thanks for the play
The game plays fairly well, actually really well.
If the object of the game is to fill the squares after shooting enough asteroid to get the materials then I get that. I filled all of the squares but still ran out of O2. So, not sure what else is needed.
So you follow the rope down, use a flashlight, and then die to slow answers, a moth, going to deep, or wrong answers?
What is the goal of the game and how do you achieve it?
Okay, so I float around, land on some rainbow colored ring and then start over.
Is that the game?
You should make more levels and paths. Try to generate them procedurally and have an infinite number of levels
@angry-fridge There is a button at the top to start. I only know that because it took me forever to figure out what to do after I made the path.
You are not alone brother
You did extremely well with this game. The controls are very responsive. The algorithms you used for the diving and flying are very good.
I just had difficulty buying stuff... Other than that it was an excellent play. Thank you
It is a very fun puzzle game.
A small suggestion, perhaps a hint after so may tries would be appropriate. Maybe place on of the dynamite packets where its is supposed to go
Anyway, thank you for the play.
I played for about fifteen minutes, and it was flawless.
It reminded me of the old 'Tex Murphy' graphical fiction stories. Even a little like some of the Infocom stuff.
You have the start of a nice game there. Keep up the good work
The game runs well. I have a very hard time with the mirror redirection room. I had the same trouble in World of Warcraft.
The sound effects were good.
Thanks for the nice play
It is an excellent game, plays very well and escape gets you out right away.
A small suggestion. From one room to the next you didn't use scrolling it was just a room transition. I would try to add smooth scrolling like Stardew Valley
What did you use to program this in?
Thanks for the play
Buddy, you nailed it. Out of all the games I have played this one had me the most. I played yours the longest.
The only suggestion, I had no way to exit the game. I had to use Task Manager to kill the process.
Did you use Microsoft's Framework because your folder looks like Stardew Valleys with all the dlls.
It is too bead that a great game like yours may never make it commercially because there is really no way to get the word out how good the game is.
Thanks for the great play
A good platformer get me every time. I have played your game the longest, about 20 minutes.
Just a little suggestion. maybe a power bar or just a timer to show when the dash is active again, as well as the laser to open the door.
Thanks for the fun play. I wish you had more levels
@online-play Not sure why you had to do that either.
Thanks for playing though...
@moogs Thanks, I really wanted to write a puzzle game and wanted 'Out of Order' so I could do a rebus type concentration game. Doors would have been good too.
Thanks for taking the time
@moogs You could very well be correct. I am thinking that everyone one is using 1920 x 1080 resolution. If that is not the resolution you are using it might be throwing everything off.
I tried to make it as generic as possible but that might be a problem.
Thanks for playing and thanks for bringing it up
@oter You have no idea how happy your comment made me. I am off the wall here. No matter what happens with the rest of this jam you have made this jam for me. Thank you, and your parents.
I will try and incorporate as much of your suggestions in as I possibly can. I like them all very much. I wasn't really clear on number one but the second one as a hint would be very doable. I will try and get that in before the deadline.
The colors are little tougher trying to get this done in three days.
The puzzles are pretty darn hard. I wrote the game, know the phrases, and still have a hard time.
Thanks again for playing. It means a lot to me. I'm 72 years old and have been a coder for over forty years. When someone appreciates the work it is wonderful.
@oter I put in the change for the hint. After you use the third hint on the top of the screen you will see text the says "YOU HAVE 'x' OUT OF 'x' CORRECT PHRASE IS 'x' LETTERS"
My wife said it was a good idea and she was impressed you got 3. The game is hard.
@2009yasha2009 Thank you for the good wishes. Thank you for playing the game
@jimmothysanchez Thank you so much for finding the typo. The game is tough enough without a typo in it. Thank you for playing the game. The music is done by Alexander Nakarada and he is a genius. He has many other compositions at https://soundcloud.com/creatorchords/neverland-no-copyright-cinematic-fantasy-music?si=d386b2c1c1194f4d8395a1bb1f9d6f62&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing.
Thanks for playing, it does a developers heart good.
@breadstick Thank you so much, so very happy you played. The hint at the top was suggested by another player so I put it in just before the deadline.
Thanks again for playing.
@machetemami Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed your play.
@myezko Yeah, I had others say the same. I didn't have time to make it generic. I will fix that when I update the software to allow players to make their own phrase lists.
@grizembrrr Heck yeah. The hardest part about using the AI Grok and ChatGPT is getting the wording right for the request. But once you have a style that you like you can tell them to save the style and then you can recall to make the same type of stuff at a later date.
I almost made a game where ships go back and forth on the water surface and drop depth charges on submarines. ChatGPT generated all of those. The background, seaweed, fish, submarines, boats, depth charges the entire thing.
The thing is I am a programmer. Was a systems coder for over 40 years. Graphics, sound, music I am not good at so AI helps me. The music in the game though was made by a genius Alexander Nakarada. Look him up on SoundCloud he has tons of excellent music.
@fantasia-imagine Thanks for playing the game. I will be working on the resolution problem and I can hopefully work it out.
@oddmes Hopefully the work I am doing on the resolution stuff will pan out fairly soon. Thanks for playing the game.
@baturinsky I really like your idea about the hints. I just might add that in. Sorry about the resolution problem, hopefully I can get that worked out fairly quickly. Thanks for the suggestions and playing the game
So, for everyone who played the game I tried a quick resolution fix hack. I hope it works. The DL link is here, and on itch.io
@keely-brown Thanks for all the suggestions. I should have some clicking for every time a tile is pressed, or a button used. Its not that hard to do either. I even have a sound effect on my computer somewhere. The first and last letter area good idea too. I'll ask the wife and see what she says.
My wife told me that there are a lot of people out there who like word games like yourself. I was going to do some submarine game but she said to try this. It was fun!
Thanks again for playing
@adamg It is pretty tough. I am going to add a letter to start the beginning of the phrase. That way there is the word 'DEPTH' in the phrase, and you have a starting point.
I am still thinking about the best way to add the hint for each phrase.
Still need to add the clicking.
Going to try and randomize the hints as to which letter it gets rather than the first one it finds
Finally, I am going to allow people to make their own lists of phrases for the game. I will take the list, randomize it and then they can play with their own list and maybe share it. The sticking point in this is to write the code that builds a puzzle procedurally. I tried once and I knew there wasn't going to be enough time to do it. I have time now and will release it as a version after the JAM.
In the future I would like to allow people to play together online. Have a little place where people can gather and play the game. I am familiar with sockets and TCP/IP and UDP protocols so I could do it. Would take a bit, but it would be fun to see if people enjoyed it.
Thanks again for playing, it is greatly appreciated.
@pincushion Thanks for playing brother. I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
@yiraa I really like the idea of graduating difficulties. I am writing a procedural generator for the puzzles and that would be a good addition.
@pres2300 I really enjoy programming. I have been one for almost fifty years. The fun in the jams for me is the programming. SDL3 is fast small, and just works. Thanks for playing the game brother, and thanks for the good words.
@justuspan Thanks for keeping at the game and getting through the first phrase. Speaking a different language must be very challenging. What language do you speak?
@fupi Your resolution must have cut it off on the bottom an made it impossible to play. Couldn't see the buttons. I am going to see if I can figure a way to resize the screen and make is smaller so you can play.
Thank you both so much for playing my game. It means a lot to me.
@the-stewarts In the comments I have heard that a great deal. I am going to change the puzzles to be a bit more easily recognized. I have the words twisting in every direction, and the majority of the time the word is listed right to left, not left to right.
I am going to try and write a procedural generator to hopefully those who want to create their own lists.
Maybe finished by April 15, hopefully
Thank you for playing the game
@borabee Wow, thanks for the great words, they are greatly appreciated. Your suggestions are just excellent and I am going to try an address them all.
There was another commentor who mentioned the colors being tough on the eyes, I am going to try and fix that, maybe make it adjustable somehow.
I didn't think about the diagonal direction until you mentioned it. I will put it in the rules.
I am going to move the rule that 'DEPTH' is in the phrase to the very top.
I really like the background hinting at the phrase, I will look into that.
I have also thought about a game like 'Concentration' where you match tiles that reveals an image which is a Rebus that depicts a phrase. I may do that later.
Thank you so much for taking the time to play the game and most of all for all of your suggestions.
By the way it was cool the way you posted your High Score
@chuckiee Thanks for taking the time to play the game. Highlighting 'DEPTH' sounds like a pretty good idea I may see if I can do that.
Thanks again
The game is pretty good, a good start for something bigger.
About fifty percent of the time when hitting 'Restart' I couldn't pick up the totem or the torch.
Thanks for the paly
Man, I sure liked your game. Easy to play. It was fun. Sound effects and background music was good. I have used Raylib and I really liked it. I use SDL3 now, but Raylib was cool.
Thanks for a great play that was completely enjoyable!!
The controls are a bit sensitive had a hard time going through stuff.
Thanks for the game play. Keep working on the game
I had some trouble getting used to the keys, spent almost 5 minutes trying to get moving. Once I did the controls were very sensitive. That could just be me. Not sure the point of the game.
Might try to play again later on
The download has been flagged.
"Our system has flagged this page for additional review due to potential suspicious behavior from the page owner."
The page is quarantined by itch.io
Not sure what this was.
That was a really fun play. Did you do the swinging physics or was that part of Godot? The swinging and the rope were excellent.
Thanks for a fun play
Very nice job. Did you use the 3D Grid Map? There is an excellent series of videos that show how to use that.
https://youtu.be/CI-cVKuSD1s?si=BLBbAd-6N8BKEPGV
Thanks for the play it was fun.
Flashlight never worked. Sorry brother
So tried the game again and found the arrow to decide if fake or real.
Game played a lot better LOL.
Not sure what made something fake and made something real, but the game was interesting
Thanks for the play.
The game is a great start for something good.
1. Use smooth scrolling instead of jumping from room to room. It felt like I had no control of my character. 2. The fighting need work. Put the character on the same ground as yourself instead of above you. 3. Allow for the WASD movement as well. 4. Allow the character to move a little at a time like Stardew Valley
The music was good, the sound effects were good. The game was dark, too dark for me to see everything.
Thanks for the play
Brother you did so good.
Well done!!! Everything was just excellent.
I enjoyed every second of the game play.
One suggestion, perhaps a pick up to increase the speed of swimming. Kill a certain type of fish and it increases your swim speed for a short time. Another pick up to extend your oxygen.
Thanks.
I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. The game sucked so much juice it kicked off my UPS.
It looked like it might be fun but what ever engine you are using may need a bit of tweeking
The game is a good start.
Since this if Godot 4.4 you should go into the key assignments and make WASD the same as the arrow keys. I a Valheim and WoW player and all my actions are with my left hand.
To Collect instead of the letter 'C' just a click on the object, see if you are close enough with a raycast and pick it up.
Its a great start, maybe just some fine tuning. I will say this yours is one of the few games that had a clear use of the theme,
Overall it is an excellent game. Plays very well. Controls are good.
I am sure later on there will be a point to the game but right now the playability was very good.
Hard to generate something like this is 3 days
You did a very nice job with the game. It runs well, it was hard to play, the graphics were cool, music was outstanding.
The only thing, and this is a common thread in jams in general, there was no way to escape out of the game. I had to bring up Task Manager' and kill the process to get out of the game.
Othere than that it was superior
You did a very nice job. Game runs nice and smooth. Never did get past the roof falling in on me. Tried pushing the box. The button got pushed not sure what else I needed to do.
The animation for your little guy is great BTW
The game plays well. Could use some ammo pickups. Other than that I enjoyed the play
Do you follow DaFluffyPotato, he is a PyGame Wizard. You should give him a look
You have a nice start for a game that could be really something special. Controls need some work, and a tutorial is a real must.
Thanks for the play.
I tried to DL but got a message to try another app.
Set up a page on itch.io for the DL. They check everything and it is easy to do. We can DL from itch.io
You have the makings of a really good game. Great start. Kind of like a platformer in 3D. If you are using Godot you should look into 3D grid map. It would be perfect for what you are trying to do.
You really did a nice job with your game. Controls are good except I would use the left mouse button to fire the torpedo. The sound effects and the music was good.
What is the big blue guy at the end?
That was fun!!!!
You did a great job. Such a simple game, simple graphics, sound and music were superior.
Thanks for the great play.
So, never did get a chance to start building. The controls are clunky. The game explanation should have been clearer.
You should make a video of how the game is played, or work on the explanation of the point of the game.
These type of games for a Jam are difficult to play as they take time to get involved and actually make them work.
That is why I try to keep my entries simple.
My system blocked you Download.
The game is very involved, but well done. You used Godot. What did you use for the interface? Th UI stuff, or something else?
@bobap You did a great job using the Control elements. Very innovative work. Good use of a highly misunderstood mechanic in Godot
The game is well done, don't see to many platformers in 3D. That being said, the way your camera worked made me sick to my stomach. I am sensitive to vertigo and the way the camera turned the entire background was tough on my head and stomach.
The pig is cool, the game play is cool. You did a very nice job.
Sorry brother but when you have to fight the documentation and then the in game help is written in scribble then I just couldn't play the game.
There are hundreds of games to play and the average player spends maybe 10 minutes tops playing a game. The minute I have to start messing with the documentation of the controls then I move on.
Game was way too hard to play. The controls were over sensitive to the point of making game play irritating.
I played for 30 seconds and just stopped.
Wow, sorry bud but your game seems to have nothing to do with real collection or for that matter a collection game.
It is Unreal engine so it pretty much sucked every CPU and GPU cycle I had and my box is pretty beefy. It pulled so much juice that it set of my UPS.
So, I really never played your game because it try to kill my computer.
The game was virtually impossible to play. Controls were laggy, I tried at least 10 times to play and never got anything accomplished
The idea for the game is excellent. The graphics were good. It is extremely difficult to kill another ship, at least for me it was.
The game is a very good beginning for something nice.
You did a nice job with the game. 3 Suggestions 1. Using the mouse to point where to shoot can get frustrating. You could try just shooting in the direction he is pointing. 2. Use the mouse to change direction of the player and use the 'W' key to move him forward. 3. Maybe a mini-map where everyone is
The game has good potential, you could have a swarm mode like vampire.io. Thanks for the game
Game was good, fun. Had that leisure suit larry feel
@wouter52 Thanks for playing my game, it is greatly appreciated.
The game did loop, I only made 4 levels but I needed 10 to get all the flags
The placement could be better. I did make it where you could permanently die as part of the discovery was jumping off something and then seeing what was next
The game could definitely use a lot more variation.
I really appreciate the critique. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to play
@f2 The platforms need a lot of work. I was getting into a time crunch so I just kind of stuck a StaticBody2D and hand coded the movement.
Thanks for playing, it is really appreciated
@edali Thanks for playing. The music was a great part of the game and I found it on this really cool website. The link is in the itch.io page
@artificer Heck yeah!! Thanks for the great programming tip. That is just excellent.
Thanks for posting the end of the game too. It is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks for playing
@flying-butter-studio Thank you for playing the game. You had a great game!
I was going to add a counter for how many flags needed to be collected for each level, How many flags were needed to complete the game. I was going to make it so each level had its own set of flags it would get instead of using the American flag.
I was going to have it so you could click on the map and you would get a blow up of the flag and maybe some trivia.
I was going to do a lot of stuff but three days goes by quick.
Thanks or playing my game and thank you for the critique. God Bless Brother
@bloodbane Thanks so much for playing my game. Might add more levels. Make it easier to wee where you need to go rather than crossing your fingers. Variety is good.
Thanks for the suggestions!
@akuta-zehy Thanks for the input! Glad you like the game
@bobap Thanks for playing my game. Greatly appreciated. I really wanted to do a level for each state. I might go back and do that.
Thanks for the suggestions!
@tweekus Thanks for playing, really appreciated
@vladimperator Thanks for playing. I wish I had the time to make more levels. I had some good ideas and a boss at the end would have been nice. Maybe next jam.
Thanks for the comments!
@robert18 Thanks for playing my game!! Yeah it was kind of meant to be like that, leap of faith sort of. That is why I made it easy to restart the level, if you fall then no penalty, just start again. That is also why I had no lives you could lose.
Now what I should have had was an arrow pointing the way, and a counter of how may flags were needed to finish the level. But three days, yeah, I was just wasn't fast enough
@gwhyang Heck Yeah, you finished it, nice job!!!
I was thinking of making 1 level per state flag and gathering that state flag for each level.
The blind drop was actually meant to be. There are no lives to lose and it is easy to restart the level if you jump and die. Part of the strategy is to jump and look as you are falling.
Thanks again for playing. Imagining someone playing my game and having fun is pretty awesome!
@loveapplegames Hey there!! Thanks for playing my game, it is really appreciated. No matter how I score in the jam its the fact that my peers have played my game and comment on it. Its great.
You are right, the platforms are too slow, and you have to kind of move along manually rather than the player just staying on the platform.
The blind jump was kind of a game mechanic. I didn't add lives to the player and made it easy to restart the level so the blind jump was for the player to look around and see where they need to go next, then start the level over. You are not the only one to mention the blind jump. Nest time I will figure another way to find the path, maybe some arrows, signs, something.
@flying-dog-fish Thank you for playing the game, it is always fun to read the comments. Several others have mentioned that a blind jump was kind of hard to deal with. I am definitely taking that into consideration the next platformer I make. Thank you for your input, it was most welcome.
@blackcat508 Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
@euler-moises Thanks for playing my game, it is greatly appreciated. Good luck in all your projects!!
You did a really nice job with the game. Godot makes platformers really easy to build. There is a way to use a global scene manager that has a level id like 'Level1' and then a preload for the level:
extends Node
var SM_CurrentLevel = 1
var SM_LevelScenes = { "Level1": preload("res://Level1.tscn"), "Level2": preload("res://Level2.tscn"), "Level3": preload("res://Level3.tscn"), "Level4": preload("res://Level2.tscn"), "Level5": preload("res://Level1.tscn"), "Level6": preload("res://main.tscn"), "Level7": preload("res://Level1.tscn"), "Level8": preload("res://Level2.tscn"), "Level9": preload("res://Level3.tscn"), "Level10": preload("res://Level3.tscn"), }
Then in the code where you load the next scene:
func ProcessNextLevel() -> void: var Level = "Level" + str(SceneManager.SM_CurrentLevel) get_tree().change_scene_to_packed(SceneManager.SM_LevelScenes[Level]) SceneManager.SM_CurrentLevel += 1 if SceneManager.SM_CurrentLevel > 10: get_tree().quit()
It worked like a champ
Not enough stars for your game brother. I almost didn't play it but then I downloaded it and I am glad I did. You did just a superior job. I played your wonderful game to the very end and I NEVER do that. Your concept and the way you implemented it was absolutely perfect
Thank you for such a wonderful 30 minutes of game play.
You have proven that fancy graphics and special effects are not necessary to make a game fun!
You followed the theme, the graphics were nice, the music was good, interface worked well. You did good
That was just an excellent play. Godot 4.5 and a tile map with some great graphics and you made it happen. Good job brother!
I went through some of your source code and saw some calls to SDL. I see where you are using the OpenGL hook. How long have you been working on the engine and most importantly:
How did you get emscripten to work with SDL. Can you use the external libraries because I use SDL_mixer for the music. I loved programming in the SDL VS Studio environment but these game jams pretty much need the game playable in a browser window.
If you could throw any guidance my way it would be greatly appreciated.
By the way the game is awesome. Plays well, graphics simple yet effective, chill game. One of the few games in this builder genre that I was willing to play.
Buddy, you knocked it out of the park. What a great game! Dig Dug with a pick axe! Just a couple of suggestions: 1. Add the left mouse button for the pick axe as well. 2. There is a small bug, after you clear a tile the game still thinks the tile is there 3. Is there a way to go up because the jump was not enough, unless we are supposed to dig in a stair step manner.
Anyway, good on you, your game is great, with a little work it could be something special. Did you do the little miner guy or did you find him somewhere else?
My virus scanner sent up a red flag for your software and the web version locks up
So, I tried 3 times to play this game. All three times I had no idea what was necessary to play. After every defeat the game would no allow me to play again so I had to Alt-F4 out of the game.
I see others got it working, but I believe the reason you are not getting more reviews is: 1. The game is not intuitive enough to play. I know some of them made it through and played but how many didn't 2. Why haven't you exported it to play in a browser. Godot allows you to do that.
Games good bro, but. 1. Ship controls are not responsive enough, need to start moving in another direction quicker 2. Add the arrow keys to move as well so we can use both hands 3. Add the left mouse button for the tractor beam.
You did good, yours is the first game that was decent
The game was fun to play. The top of the screen continually got in the way of seeing all of the dice. This is like Yahtzee without the score card and you can repeat the same score type.
Nice job.
Your texturing of the walls was good. Gameplay is kinda sketchy. I tried three times and I got stuck all three times.
Not sure why we need to jump but it became frustrating
You have a really good idea for a game. You lost me with the matching stuff. Just keep it simple where you go in and get the teeth dodging the parents. It got locked up on some match thing and I could not leave
I really liked the game!. That being said, the music is not conducive to allowing one to think their way through a level. Also, the small explanation in the beginning could use some work. When you have to figure out how the game works as well as trying to get through a puzzle, well it makes it tough
But your concept is great, your implementation is excellent. It was fun
Sorry bro, but you sucked so much GPU you set off my UPS. You need to set the frame rate to 60 not let run as fast as possible. That is what causes the GPU to be over worked
The game is excellent. Great for a platformer. When I scrolled out it made things easier.
It is a tough play. Thanks for the entry, you did good.
You did a nice job using simple graphics and sounds to make the game interesting and fun. Thanks for the game play.
The game is programmed very well and was fun to play, but: 1. The controls are very sluggish, not responsive enough. 2. Using the mouse for the direction of the ship travels is tedious. The A and D as well as the arrow keys might have been better.
The arrow pointing the way was excellent!
Link is broken
All you links are broken
The music was nice
This is a great game. Is there only 1 level?
What did you use to make the gif that shows game play?
@f2 Thank you brother, I do appreciate it! You have been a huge help.
The game is excellent. Not too easy and not too hard. The mechanics are good and the gold physics are excellent. Well done.
Your game is excellent. A great start for something very special. Add some more levels, more objects, and you have yourself a really fun experience!
