Fun game! The drawing felt good and the scoring felt very fair!
I managed to summon all the creatures on the first try, then went and tried failing them all for laughs. Wasn't disappointed.
Anyway, this is a very nice take on the theme, with nice graphics and mood. The sigils vary in complexity a lot, some were very easy to draw, others were almost impossible. Fortunately desired accuracy is just low enough for the game to be fun.
This is quite fun; it's so simple yet it's quite attractive. I feel like this developed more would make it pretty far in the app store, because anyone can do it and yet no one can do it well.
Yaay, I managed to summon all three: 49%, 73%, 79%. The scoring was well balanced, I was really worried that I won't going to make it. ^^ I really liked the art, and the game was fun. It could be a fun minigame in some bigger game for sure! :) Cheers!
Nice take on the theme. :) Managed about 70% accuracy for the most part and summoned myself some new familiars.
Thanks everyone for the feedback so far it's much appreciated! :) We are especially glad to hear that the balancing seems to be working out alright!
@flying-dog-fish Very pleased to hear you liked the "fail-cases" - and thanks for putting in the extra effort to seek them out! :)
I like the concept, but the controls felt a bit wonky when you go to draw. The win/fail conditions were funny though
Cool game! I think it could have benefited from being able to skip through some of the inbetween segments (the ones saying "Memorize and paint the sigil... X/Y"), but other than that, nice little entry :)
Wow! What a game. Great approach to the theme, rare gameplay, good visuals and sounds, and such good references to media and other games. (Applaud)
Cool game! I think it can have one small additional feature to skip to the next symbol if you finish ahead of time. Overall good job!
Wow, it's very well done! It's capturing, funny and stylish. Congrats!
@orbitaldot @odinvii Thanks for the feedback! We actually were thinking about adding options to skip ahead for both the intro text and the drawing part, but unfortunately didn't get them implemented in time. I think this, as a feature for quicker flow of gameplay, might be something to prioritize more in the future.
We were thinking about creating a similar game. Really cool to see it in action. And it's developed very nicely. I also like that chalk sound. It feels very satisfying.
I also like how the background also acted as a helpful grid. Good job!
@zonoxx @fargred
I will say this. I played your game longer than anyone else's. To summon the Lord I got 69.43 percent. So close.
Your scoring algorithm is the bomb. The time you display the sigil for memorization and the time given to draw was spot on.
You did a tremendous job and I tip my programmers cap to you.
Thanks for an enjoyable 30 minutes.
BTW you are the only one I score 5 for all categories.
What kind of logic did you use to do the scoring
Oh no, the power to draw freehand circles! I was hoping someone would make a game with drawing of summing signs, and this is an excellent implementation, with fun circles and summons on top!
Omg I this is a unique concept! Simple and cute. Maybe there could be a little bit more time to memorize the drawing.

This was really fun!! Love the neat little references in them sigils :)
Fun gamee! Really cool concept, love the art. Good job guys!
Good game. Has its own atmosphere
First of all, thank you very much to anyone who has tried and played the game and left some feedback, it means a lot. @beebster-games The scoring actually took a couple of iterations over the weekend to feel right. Basically the algorithm compares the sigil and the tiles you draw and gives you points for correct tiles as well as tiles within a certain margin of what you painted if they would have been correct. It then deducts points for completly incorrect tiles, however these points are weighted differently to not be overly punising. Then your overall points are compared to the number of tiles in the sigil, which determines your score. Like I said, this took a lot of playtesting and fiddeling to feel right and you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that we got it right :)
@zonoxx Well, I will say this, you did a tremendous job with the score balancing. It really makes the game work. Thanks again for your hard work
Pretty solid game! It seems pretty solid with the rating system. Very nice game, with great sound effects.
What a cool entry, I bet the scoring was hard to balance. You seemed to make it really fair. I bet if I played it with my tablet I would have done better that drawing with my "potato" mouse. I had fun, thanks!
