LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Drill18^2 - This is Just a Drill by quill18 2021-05-01T16:33:12Z

Absolutely crazy how you can hammer out a deckbuilding card game in two days like this. It was a lot of fun to play trying to come up with some different "builds" depending on the available cards.

Deep Space Journey by aaranos 2021-05-01T14:00:28Z

Very interesting resource-management game. Trying to balance my different resources was pretty fun, although the randomness and lack of information can lead to sequences where you don't really progress in any direction and just exchance resource types back and forth (or in some cases, -32 money for +17 money or something similar ;) ). Still a refreshing genre to see in this event! Plus, the music was great!

Rover goes deeper by pfeyffer 2021-04-26T18:12:49Z

Very cool concept for a puzzler! I also liked the gradual introduction of new stuff! And some of the puzzles were pretty tough!

depthscraper by lexi 2021-05-01T14:18:18Z

Fantastic little puzzle game! Once you get the hang of it, it's highly addictive. One of those games where the gameplay is good enough that the (perfectly serviceable) presentation doesn't even matter that much!

Depth Gauge by Solrun 2021-05-14T09:06:45Z

A fun digging game! Zooming back with the rope and spending your hard earned bubblegum felt very rewarding. The additional dimension also caught me by surprise and was fun to use (albeit sometimes visually hard to make out)! Getting more upgrades was a good motivation, too! The graphics did overlapp a bit, but that might just have been windowed mode. Great entry!

The Last Spores by pestodesign 2021-05-07T13:44:35Z

Very cool concept. Trying to grow your root as much as possible was quite fun. I also really liked the art style in general. Only the gameplay could probably use some more (plant-based? ;)) meat, as you're mostly hoping for lucky sequences with not a lot of decisions. Still, a very cool idea and a lot of potential for future updates.

Dive by seanarooni 2021-04-26T18:02:13Z

Very cool! We actually made pretty similar games - yours has the cooler art style though. :) The music was great too!

Under Pressure by OadT 2021-05-01T14:35:00Z

Very innovative entry! It was fun making a submarine (in the very broadest sense of the word) and seeing my horrible miscreation tumble downwards into the depths, slowly falling apart. Very cool building system. This would also be awesome to see in an expanded project with more parts and a lively sea!

The Hunt for the Plastic Bag by Bewelge 2021-04-26T18:53:22Z

I really like the progression system in this, feels very satisfying to up your light and fuel! The sonar feels very atmospheric as well.

Rip Deeper by Hozoku 2021-05-01T14:27:15Z

Wow, this is such an impressive entry. This plays, feels, sounds and looks incredibly polished for something made in 3 days. I also just liked the gameplay loop - it reminded me a tiny bit of a single player Overcooked, managing multiple ghosts and "ingredients" to make a nice, calm grave again. Very cool!

Square Diver by FussenKuh 2021-04-26T18:06:47Z

Pretty cool game and honestly very impressive for only 4 hours! I especially liked the music and sound effects!

Bunny Bunny Dig Dig by ZakAmana 2021-04-26T17:57:01Z

Absolutely blown away and humbled by this. It feels like a complete game in every aspect and its a lot of fun as well.

Into David by mosaic 2021-04-26T18:18:08Z

One of the funniest games I've played so far. The little main character looks so goofy, plus the little sound it plays on death... The ragdolling definitely also helps with the comedy aspect. Controls were pretty though, but I was still motivated to try again, if only to see the little bacteria get flung about again.

T-Minus by michaelaranda 2021-05-01T13:40:25Z

A fun planet-hopping experience! The graphics (including all the little references you can discover), sound design and the music especially are awesome. I actually left the song playing in the background even after finishing the game. Gameplay is also satisfying when you make it. The biggest hurdle seems to be that the ship starts in a pretty fast rotation. That way, in levels that don't put you on a planet right away I found myself mostly randomly zooming and tumbling through space just hoping to get into a more stable position. Overall though, a very fun experience!

Selkö by Doot 2021-05-01T13:01:44Z

A wonderful experience, the atmosphere is just so well done, with the music and the light being the main gameplay feature. A great little mystery puzzle game!

Tato - Potato by Noel Widmer 2021-04-26T21:47:52Z

Time to get some more high scores in here: Screenshot 2021-04-26 at 23.42.43.png

...and this was done with a touchscreen mouse nonetheless. ;)

Very fun game and a cool twist on snake, with the "recharge" zone and environmental hazards! Plus I can strongly identify with the little guy's ravenous hunger for potatoes.

Cave of Glory by marksht 2021-04-26T17:48:40Z

Cool game, I liked the random layout! Some of the monsters were a bit too easy to just walk by, but when they did attack the combat felt very good!

So Deep in Space by KeyLime 2021-04-26T21:34:44Z

Fun game of dodging asteroids! Controls are a bit challenging, possibly because the ship moves quite far even for a single key press? I very liked the "appearing out of the distance" effect of the asteroids and especially the stars/planets. It's also neat that it has a two-player option, quite a rare sight!

The Clownfish Home by crazyMouse 2021-05-01T14:47:26Z

That was fun! It took me quite a few tries the last few meters get really intense. I also liked how varied the trash was and the music was nice, too!

Leap of Faith by Sombrero Guy 2021-05-14T09:11:27Z

Cool falling game! The art style is great and I like that it draws you in with a little intro / story as well. The shirt-parachute mechanic was also fun to use!

Underground by Halogen 2021-05-01T13:47:54Z

Nice little platformer! It was sometimes a bit hard to differentiate between earth the tunnel, plus with the zoom level when going downwards it was hard to see where you will end up (that might be intentional however ;) ). Still a fun game however, plus it has some funky music and a working menu as well!

Deeper and Deeper- A drop's journey by Tankou 2021-05-07T13:36:28Z

I really liked this! We made sort of similar games concept-wise, yours is a lot more refined however! I really liked the growing-shrinking mechanic and the weather effects, those added a lot to the gameplay. I also liked the previews for incoming drops. Plus the art style and music was cute and probs for multiple difficulties (and a funny ending)!

Deep in the Graveyard by AndyKSWong 2021-04-27T08:24:09Z

Very cool concept! Reminds me a bit of Crypt of the Necrodancer. Its definitely not easy, but I felt compelled to try again and again. The graphics also fit this nicely!

Into The Depths by Jason Wilson 2021-04-28T21:34:20Z

Very cool! This game actually has a lot of content to it. I really liked the motivating upgrade system and the sense of exploration (which you want to do for that shiny gold). The enemies were not much of a challenge (the fish enemies I encountered all seemed o be stuck in walls) so collecting the bones was a bit more tedious than getting more gold. Swimming up from far down also needed a lot of spacebar-slamming - but I assume that's what the flippers are for? Still a very nice experience of discoveries & rewards!

Falling Bot by Phobos 2021-05-01T14:19:55Z

Very cool falling game. The graphics and sound design are top notch, and the boosters on the bot feel very satisfying to use. Only problem I found was that on crashing on a plattform, you still might be stuck there afterwards and lose multiple/all your lifes. A small reset/invulnerability phase might be handy here? But otherwise a very fun experience.

Journey to Atlantis by Kotzi 2021-05-04T17:58:40Z

Very cool entry. I actually made it in my first try on 500m (because I was just curious about that one shop item). I really liked the presentation and the card flipping effect. Music was a bit basic but worked well enough! Definitely very enjoyable to try and dive to Atlantis!

Highly Successful Research Submarine by James Macgill 2021-05-01T18:27:53Z

Very interesting concept, I think this has a lot of potential. It took a bit of fiddling in the beginning as your money doesn't allow for any corridors, but then its an interesting gameplay loop!

U-Bot by fargred 2021-04-26T11:51:21Z

Thanks everybody for your feedback so far!

@kubbl Dang, that's unfortunate. Can I ask what browser you are using and what error you got? And yeah, I might have overdone it with the difficulty a bit (especially as spawning is fairly random and thus sometimes simply unfair to the player). Thanks!

@azakharov Thanks for the feedback! Agreed, I probably could have trimmed that down to 100m or so...

U-Bot by fargred 2021-04-26T12:40:01Z

@ccglp Thanks! :) Good point, the first zone drags on a bit long. And good job on beating it!

@kubbl Alright, that's a relief. Thanks for letting me know!

U-Bot by fargred 2021-05-01T13:15:54Z

Thanks everyone for your nice feedback so far, its very much appreciated! <3

@jason-wilson A great suggestion, and actually something that was on my ToDo-List: I wanted to make a collectible shield upgrade that gives you a single safe from a collision. Time just wasn't on my side in the end... :)

U-Bot by fargred 2021-05-01T14:39:58Z

@oadt Thanks! Yeah, that is one of the problems with the random spawning, sometimes it's simply unfair. However, it motivates me to look into some more sophisticated ways of doing it to give players a fair chance at all times. :)

@finntastico Thanks a lot, especially also for the suggestion! Making the pixel art was definitely more fun than I would have expected it, and I'm most definitely gonna stick to it next time and will try to improve my skills!

Deeper Fishing by Thoastbot 2021-04-26T21:53:51Z

Very cool idea and I'm kind of blown away that this is pure JS. The gameplay itself is pretty straightforward and could probably be more engaging, but as more of a fishing "simulator" it's neat. Watching the roll spin is also strangely satisfying.

Deep Sea Discoveries by Lithia Studios 2021-04-29T11:12:33Z

A fun little diving game! I liked the graphics and especially the sprite animations a lot. Grabbing fish with your arm also feels pretty satisfying. I encountered a bug where my depth always reset back to 0m after reaching around 90m. That also might have been the reason that the challenge stays pretty much the same, so once you figure out the stone patterns I could go on almost indefinitely. Still a great submission for a 48 hour work, I'd love to see this expanded!

HELL deep is your love? by Villanelle 2021-05-01T13:30:40Z

Very fun platformer! It took me many tries, but I was motivated to go on. I think the hardest part for me control-wise was landing on the spot I wanted to land on? But nice theme and gameplay variety in the levels. And the music was *jammin*!

LD52 — Harvest

Harvest Survivor by hadesfury 2023-01-09T22:29:34Z

Very fun entry, I found myself playing several times! The gun felt pretty underwhelming compared to the other attack types, but maybe I just didn't find the right upgrades. Loved the sprites, animations and sound effects as well!

Also a small sidenote: Restart didn't work for me (Windows build), the game got stuck on the menu screen.

Harveyster by Almax 2023-01-10T18:52:17Z

Fantastic entry! The movement and combat feel very satisfying. The day/night mechanic combined with the upgrade system plays very nice together as well.

Wurmi by joewan 2023-01-10T09:18:24Z

Very fun puzzle game! The difficulty progression was great (although I found the level with the many enemies the most complicated one) and I liked the undo and reset features! Funny sound effects as well!

Click On Fish by Pomo 2023-01-10T18:39:12Z

Really fun and funny game! I especially love the soundtrack! Can I ask what software did you use for it?

Red Harvester by Forgin Bits 2023-01-08T21:57:06Z

I was a bit confused in the beginning as I didn't make the connection between planting and the energy/oygen, but overall a fun experience. I also liked the sandstorm!

TanksGiving by Zonoxx 2023-01-09T09:13:39Z

Thanks everyone for the feedback so far, we really appreciate it! <3

@aendawyn Thanks for letting us know! This is something we didn't even consider, but definitely should have... Maybe we'll manage to add a fix a bit later on, and we'll definitely keep it in mind for next time.

Word Harvest by Steelfeathers 2023-01-09T09:56:43Z

Fun game! I made it to level 4 before getting overwhelmed. The graphics look really nice and clean. I also appreciate that backspace deletes all letters at once, very handy.

LD53 — Delivery

Forecast Folly by RetroSpecter 2023-05-02T17:26:05Z

Great mood! Love the asthetics, especially the wheatherman (his art, but also his animations) and the premis is just great. Mechanically, the game felt a little bit too easy. I actually made a second run to fail just to see the other "ending", and it was almost more challenging than winning. But the scope of a jam like this obviously restricts the amount of possible features and I think this is an awesome base that could be expanded on with great promise!

DElive by IcyLava 2023-05-05T18:26:41Z

A game that just feels and plays very nice. I really like the clean style and look of it, everything blends together very well. Interesting twist as well with the enemies getting delivered, although gameplay-wise it only seems to have a minor effect (i.e. you can push them around a bit)? The shotting feels fery smooth and impactful however!

Paleo Pickup by auxC 2023-05-04T22:13:21Z

Very impressive entry. There is just a lot of game, while being very well polished. I felt that the combat was pretty straightforward as I found myself basically just using every non-consumable as fast and often as I could, but getting upgrades and pushing on further felt very satisfying still.

Before the Storm by dusho 2023-05-04T21:58:38Z

I liked it! The sounds were a bit too loud and the boost control felt a bit wonky (I mostly just managed to do it by accident), but I really liked the good amount of varied levels, the obstacles (especially the thunderclouds) and that a lot of things were animated!

Ravenhaul by Rongo Matane 2023-05-05T18:33:35Z

Incredibly impressive entry. Loved the graphics, music, the whole mood of it. I also liked how integrated the different actionable elements are integrated into the house (although it took me a bit to find some of them).

Paper Guy by cortexdeveloper 2023-05-02T21:16:00Z

Cool entry! I like the paper drawing asthetic and it was fun to dodge around trying to deliver the symbols. You just can't move very close to the edge as some enemy spawns might hit you immediatly, but maybe that was intentional? The sound and shake effects were a nice touch as well!

Ancient Order of Michaels by MaiMai 2023-05-07T10:28:25Z

Very cool entry! I had fun sending my Michaels around fighting demons. I never wanted to backrack to upgrade my group as they do move rather slowly, but luckily new upgrade station regularly appeared. Some of the MIchaels also got stuck in the world, but only a few. I also really liekd that the final battle felt appropriatly epic!

Supply Heroes by SvenErik 2023-05-04T17:34:53Z

Really cool entry! I started off pretty slow, but after some escalation, it kept me on my toes constantly. Great, novel idea for a strategy game. I could definitely see this getting expanded with some more features into a full-fledged game!

Salty Coins by Alexascher 2023-05-06T12:45:31Z

Very cool little traiding game! I was impressed with how many different goods and upgrades there were! Some of the random encounters almost got me, but I still manage to stabilie in time again. Graphics and overall mood of the game a very pleasent as well!

Rogue 'n Royal by Bauke Regnerus 2023-05-02T21:11:21Z

Very impressive entry, there's just a lot of content while still feelings polished. Some of the minigames were very hard (especially some of the mazes), but it was a lot of fun just exploring and seeing what the items and traits are doing.

WORD DROP by MKRaw 2023-05-02T21:20:42Z

A nice, cozy puzzle game! I like the music and mood and it felt pretty satisfying dropping the characters into place. The "hitboxes" to click the characters felt a bit small at times, especially on a small screen/resoultion, so maybe some sligtly bigger hitboxes might help! Nice selection of different words as well!

Hellfire Pizza by AploveStudio 2023-05-02T16:59:44Z

Great artstyle and mood and very fun to scoot around! Loved the little dialoge cutscenes. Navigation wasn't easy at times, but that might be intentional?

Pancake Day by Martin183 2023-05-02T06:54:12Z

Great entry! I liked the combination of driving yourself but also managing two cars at once! Music is awesome as well and I appreciate the inclusion of a tutorial.

Pizza Xpress by PerfectSquare 2023-05-04T21:54:09Z

THis was neat! Crusising around took some getting used to, but was fun once you get the hang of the controls. I kind off wish there was a little indicator telling you where the correct street was as I'm really bad at remembering names, but I found I actually did learn the map somewhat after a bit. Graphics are really nice as well!

Deliver the baby! by Enad96 2023-05-03T14:24:43Z

Ok that definitely caught me by surprise. And then once more when the actual gameplay turned out to be very engaging!

Fulfillment by fargred 2023-05-01T12:06:38Z

Hi @elementary, thank you for the feedback! THe overlapping UI elements sound worrying. On which browser/OS did you test the itch version?

Fulfillment by fargred 2023-05-02T16:14:12Z

Thank you for the feedback everyone, it is much appreciated! <3

@ZungryWare Darn, really good point about color-blindness, there should definitely an option/secondary identifier for this. Thanks for bringing it up, I hadn't considered this. And I totally agree with your point that there should be an inicator for an upcoming mode switch, as it is otherwise a bit too unfair. It was actually on my toDo list, but unfortunately I just ended up having not enough time for it anymore.

@elementary @mkraw @bauke-regnerus I uploaded a small patch for the UI elements (as I think small bug fixes are acceptable after submission?) and I hope that fixes the issues!

@cortexdeveloper Thanks for the feedback! Totally agree, especially on the indicator for a mode switch. This, and some more sorting modes were on the list actually, but got axed due to time running out. :(

Fulfillment by fargred 2023-05-05T17:28:03Z

Thanks again everyone for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated! :)

@guin36 After all, isn't giving players existential anxiety what it's all about? ;)

@perfectsquare Great point about the non-default fonts, definitely have to look into that next time. It seems like an easy enough change with a comparatively big impact.

@bmanstudio Thanks for submitting the score! Added to the (new) leaderboard!

@falk-hoeppner Thanks for the extensive feedback! Very good point about the fonts/coloring, this is definitely something I need to practice/research more going in future game jams. And you are right, the drop-off sounds are varied intentionally, as I feared just a single sound would get old fast. However, I didn't consider that it could be interpreted as a signal for a mechanical difference, interesting point. Also *wow*, your score is extremely impressive and actually made me start a leaderboard in the game description. Congratulations on becoming employee of the month. ;)

Fulfillment by fargred 2023-05-05T18:21:30Z

@falk-hoeppner Definitely, the plaque will go right beside the water cooler! And you are right of course, thanks for mentioning it!

Fulfillment by fargred 2023-05-06T23:34:41Z

@wuppos Glad you liked it, and welcome to the top of the leaderboard (aka list of employees of the month). :) A better notice for the mode switch would have indeed been a good idea, which unfortunately didn't make it in in time. And I definitely don't mind you starting you own leaderboard, I think a lot of people here are doing one! As the text boxes here support Markdown, you can format tables with it pretty easily, see for example here: https://docs.github.com/en/get-started/writing-on-github/working-with-advanced-formatting/organizing-information-with-tables

Fulfillment by fargred 2023-05-09T07:52:39Z

@captandrey Great suggestion! Interestingly, I had tried out basically this way of handling the mode switch (i.e. switch directly after depositing) in my internal build and it works great for not screwing over the player anymore - however it does also become significantly easier and loses a bit of tension as you can always be sure you *do* have the time to deposit. But maybe it then just needs some additional mechanics (more modes especially) to make it more challenging again.

Andromeda Delivery Service by lisyarus 2023-05-05T11:58:25Z

Just a very innovative, fun game. Felt very motivating to collect more parts and grow your ship (and ending up with some wacky designs). Very impressive!

Volksdam by Wuppos 2023-05-02T16:52:29Z

Great game! Love the atmosphere, music, and overall relaxing vibe. PLus, just a nice combination of a classic game mechanic with the theme of the jam!

Oliver the Bartender by sdelay 2023-05-02T07:49:00Z

Very cool! Nice game loop and a lot of content, including a tutorial and sound effects. I think future table positions are already locked for movement, which throws you off a bit as there just seems to be empty spaces you cant go into, but that's a very minor detail for a very well-made, extensive entry!

The Night Witches by Kultuk 2023-05-02T10:49:25Z

Very cool entry! Clean and - most importantly - fun design! It really is a nice blend of stealth and puzzle. It was I also really liked the level progression introducing more gameplay elements, it very motivating to beat the whole game that way.

Codename: STORK by Matt Green 2023-05-05T08:36:22Z

Very impressive entry for a Compo game! Neat little management game with a lot of potential for more. It wasn't particularly difficult when you get the ball rolling, but I assume balancing something like this in such a short amount of time is quite the task. And I obviously really enjoyed the end sequence, well done!

Unread Messages by shimmerscale 2023-05-04T16:38:30Z

Very cool little puzzle game! I loved the base mechanics and how you expanded on them throughout the levels. A lot of potential there for a bigger game! I wish drawing lines (and rewinding them by drawing over them) worked, as there is a lot of clicking needed sometimes, but very understandable that this might not be in the jam scope. I also would have liked to always see how many hops the messages had left without needing to hover over them, but that's a very minor detail to an otherwise very enjoyable, clever entry!

Catnip Caper by ShatteredMindofBob 2023-05-01T17:51:24Z

Fun little game! I found the catnip pretty quickly but then got lost for a bit not knowing where to go. Fortunately, I could evade the pigs long enough to find the right house in the end

You Got Mail! by Kabura 2023-05-02T21:04:10Z

Great little entry, a fun little twist on Frogger and the like. Especially loved the graphics, very pleasent to look at and extremly clear and vibrant. I also really liked the honking sound effect when cars almost hit you!

Rain Sleet Zombies by SoloAdventurerGames 2023-05-02T21:23:36Z

Pretty impressive for a first Compo entry! Its definitely a challenging game but it was fun beating up te zombies. Some nice graphical effects as well!

Super Special Delivery by Nathan Franck 2023-05-01T17:43:44Z

Unfortunate that you couldn't finish it - the menu, general atmosphere. music and the dancing stork all look very cool and engaging and I'm very intrigued to see where this would have gone! But there's always next time, right? :)

LD55 — Summoning

Diablillos by ladybenko 2024-04-16T16:01:09Z

Fun little game. The overall retro feel is great and fits very well together. The last level got very hectic! I could easily see this being expanded on with more unit types etc.

Tristram by Rongo Matane 2024-04-17T16:16:09Z

Great entry. Looks and feels very polished and cohesive. Party management before venturing out was a bit finicky and very random, but maybe that was on purpose? It felt very satisfying spending that hard-earned gold on upgrades!

Deathless Sentinel by Fahim Faysal 2024-04-19T16:03:30Z

This is a very cool entry. The system is very innovative and interesting, I really like the puzzles that emerge from having those two very different characters. The controls also felt very good. Also probs that you gave it a little story and more importantly some personality to the two characters! A very fun puzzle game.

Glyph Tower by YogurtTheHorse 2024-04-17T16:40:07Z

Very cool concept! Feels really satisfying to fire of a powerful spell. Only the ressource collection felt a bit finicky, but otherwise a lot of fun

DESUMMONING by InitialPosition 2024-04-19T15:55:15Z

Really cool to see a card game here! It looks and feels very smooth and polished, the great music and sound effects help a lot with this too. The game itself is quite simple but that also means you pick it up almost immediatly. Unfortunately,I often found myself only having one offensive card, not leaving me a lot of choice for some turns. But I could easily see this getting built upon!

The Royal Writ by Save Sloth Studios 2024-04-16T15:50:45Z

Fantastic entry! The art, sound and overall theme just feel very polished. The storybook intro and cutscenes are also very impressive. The cards were sometimes a bit hard to place as you have to be quite precise with the placement, but the overall battles were a lot of fun. I only wish you could look at your deck, maybe between battles! I also appreciate the audio slider in the start menu!

Paintamonium by fargred 2024-04-16T15:40:16Z

Thanks everyone for the feedback so far it's much appreciated! :) We are especially glad to hear that the balancing seems to be working out alright!

@flying-dog-fish Very pleased to hear you liked the "fail-cases" - and thanks for putting in the extra effort to seek them out! :)

Paintamonium by fargred 2024-04-17T17:12:38Z

@orbitaldot @odinvii Thanks for the feedback! We actually were thinking about adding options to skip ahead for both the intro text and the drawing part, but unfortunately didn't get them implemented in time. I think this, as a feature for quicker flow of gameplay, might be something to prioritize more in the future.

Poizon Pets by LeiGGaRFeeD 2024-04-16T15:56:38Z

Game looks great! Its almost sad the pet sprites are that small as they seemed very well made. The timing game was maybe a bit too easy, but finding all combinations was definitely more tricky. When choosing wrong combinations, only a black box appeared, I suppose this should be some other sprite instead?

A-BONE-mination by Erivas_Soulares 2024-04-17T17:07:24Z

Really cool concept, love the split screen with your minions doing battle automatically at the top! Controls also feel nice and the music and sounds round out the impression very well. My biggest cirtcism would probably just be that it seems a bit too easy? I had built a pretty sizeable army already that was still just facing a few enemies at a time. PLus, as you can discard blocks you don't want, I never got that hectic Tetris-like pressure of clearing tiles as I could just cycle through them until I got the right ones. But I assume when the enemies would pressure you faster, that just be too much of a waste of time, so ultimately probably just a question of balancing! But overall a very polished and well-made entry!

I feel like participating in a game jam with a team this large is a very substantial challenge in and of itself - so kudos for finishing with a working game! The scope is also quite impressive! I especially like that you added a full story to it. The combat UI was kind of confusing but the system itself seems to have quite some depths to it. Oh and some text boxes were covered by assets ( in the first area I think).

Very polished entry! It just looks and feels very cohesive. Only the "next wave" popup was a bit confusing, as it suggested an option, but was actually just a reminder text of sorts? Collecting more ressources felt satisfying though and it was fun building up your towers more and more. Placement was sometimes a bit fiddly, when the sprite turned from red to white suggesting a valid spot that then didn't actually work. But it only happend in tight clusters so didn't come up super often. Great sound and visual design, I liked how bouncy everything was, made it feel a lot more lively!
