LD22 — Alone

One Bullet by zacaj 2011-12-21T03:14:00

I have to say, I was very leery about this game from the screenshot, but it was actually quite compelling to play. I'm not certain if I "beat" it, since the screen just closed abruptly, but I feel...satisfied that I figured out the logic of the world.

It's very simple...but it's a very good minimalist execution of the theme.

Void Defender by rubixcuber 2011-12-21T02:06:00

Controls were very jerky. Couldn't really do much with the crystals. Nice music.

Nothing But Stars by wbobeirne 2011-12-21T03:15:00

It's a shame that the game is so short/unfinished, because this was actually quite a nice concept and execution. I had to restrict my actual score due to the amount of gameplay, but otherwise I was impressed.

Gloaming by lapogo 2011-12-21T12:14:00

Mediafire: Invalid or Deleted File.

I am Alone by berky 2011-12-21T23:36:00

I'm sorry, computer, maybe leaving wasn't such a good idea. :(

I'd like to see UI improvements though ([ENTER] to submit text, for example).

LD23 — Tiny World

Balance by hadesfury 2012-04-24T18:47:00

My only complaint about this game is that I want MORE OF IT! Nice to see good use of sound too!

Tiny Droplet by Digitalduck 2012-04-24T18:53:00

As others have said, the movement is a little intense for me, but I could definitely see myself playing a version 1.1 of this on Kongregate or something! Nicely done.

Hungry Ants by Dew 2012-04-24T18:58:00

Great concept, but the actual gameplay execution was off (time required balance, etc...) I would definitely like to see an updated version of this.

Fish Tank Commander by quill18 2012-04-24T19:11:00

This game rapidly progressed from something I wanted to just make for the compo into something that's going to turn into a real product, shippable product in the vein of "Chess with Friends" and such (in my dev copy I'm already adding Facebook integration and ensuring iOS/Android compatibility).

Unfortunately, by moving in that direction I've ended up with something that isn't well suited to a quick playthrough for voting purposes. In hindsight I focused too much on the user-account rankings and map editing and should have made - for this competition - an anonymous queuing with just the core gameplay.

On the other hand, then I probably wouldn't have a product I felt was on the verge of being shippable.

Blah. Decisions are hard.

TL;DR: I'm certain my score will for this compo will suck, but I'm okay with it.

Fish Tank Commander by quill18 2012-04-24T19:41:00

<3 for the LoL maps :)

Fish Tank Commander by quill18 2012-04-26T13:54:00

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone! I've just hit 100 issues on Github and have already closed 33 tickets (primarily on my dev site). I have 2 months of work already mapped out to turn this into a truly enjoyable, competitive game. This includes much better matchmaking and social tools (such as chatting), not to mention many gameplay changes including rules changes and new units.

I can't wait for the voting to be over so I can push out some new changes! (As is, I'm trying to restrict my changes to site-breaking performance issues, plus the text on the front page.)

Planetship by s0ulcrusher 2012-04-24T19:36:00

Excellent name. Fantastic visual aesthetic.

An Hell Of A Kitchen by brus46 2012-04-24T23:20:00

Is that stock art?

LD24 — Evolution

CellVolution by TSJ666 2012-08-28T13:55:00

Excellent entry!

The Darkness Evolve!! by juaxix 2012-08-27T16:48:00

I'm not sure what this has to do with evolution. Sure, you fill an "evolution" bar, but it could just as easily be a "dark matter gas tank".

Adapt or Die! by Datw 2012-08-27T17:01:00

Let me say this: The crashes/glitches are only bothering me because I really like the game! I love the way the levels *evolved* bit by bit, and the game has a very "Super Meat Boy" feel to it. A little more polish and this could be a hugely addictive best-seller.

I did NOT realize that you evolve to resist the damage that kills you. That is wonderful, and gets an extra +1 rating from me.

This is one of the rare games this LD that really "gets" the theme.

Rift of Time by martinbussyparis 2012-08-28T12:40:00

No source code?

I believe that's a *requirement*, yes?

Rift of Time by martinbussyparis 2012-08-28T13:28:00

@martin -- Sorry, I didn't realize this was a Jam entry!

GeneRogue by ghoulsblade 2012-08-28T13:27:00

Excellent submission! Surprisingly addictive -- though you run out of content relatively fast. Would love to see it pursued further!

Dracolution by Tsurara 2012-08-28T13:05:00

Great entry!

A faster pace would be slightly better, I think. That may require switching to WSAD/Arrows for movement.

Natural Selection by Nickolai51 2012-08-28T13:52:00

Nice to see an FPS entry! Definitely stands out. Good to see a story too.

The Life Tale by Griz 2012-08-28T13:48:00

I love virtually everything going on here. The upgrade system is great!

However, the game is DEFINITELY much too hard. Some of it is due to balance issues, but a lot of it comes down to difficulty of control and how hard it is to attack something. I would love to see a tweaked version of this game!

Swarm by Will Xyen 2012-08-27T15:13:00

Has huge potential for fun, but it took some trial-and-error to figure out what the heck I was supposed to do on the very first screen. The UI was not very intuitive...

Personally, I think I would have preferred some kind of automatic evolution of the waves, rather than starting and stopping a lot. It's breaks the potential of getting into a "zen" state that works well with these sorts of games.

I'm also not sure that I ever want to rely on the laser. Being stunned is pretty sucky -- you might want to remove that component. It's already challenging enough to use with the charge-up time.

Way to Change by yetanother 2012-08-27T16:53:00

Despite its simplicity...I really liked this game!

Very interesting and innovative.

Primeval Labs by BMacIntosh 2012-08-30T17:24:00

Easily the best game I've tried so far. Definitely a little hard, but great concept and execution. Loved the flavor/humor.

Catching Life by Fadobo 2012-08-30T17:17:00

I've never seen a puzzle game like this. One might exist, but it's still a relatively innovative idea. Nice work!

the Evolution from zx81 by zx81 2012-09-05T15:23:00

Fun, simple, and feels like a great educational game for kids. VERY high votes from me.

However, it was pretty hard!

An Astronomical Affray by reheated 2012-08-28T13:39:00

I can't get this game to run, even with the installer. The .exe appears in my process list, but nothing ever happens. Windows 7.

I'm really excited to give this a try too. I like that you're using actual natural selection to evolve your enemies.

IO VUOLE ZEN by Capro 2012-08-27T14:59:00

I'm not sure I understand the logic of the first screen, despite getting past it -- both in terms of how it works and also WHY you would choose to implement this barrier.

A bold and innovative entry nonetheless.

Planets by bodsey 2012-08-27T15:05:00

At first I was thinking: Oh, yet another "evolve a planet" game.

But your art style is really very, very nice. I adore the look of your game, and the sound is nice too. Great aesthetic.

I feel that the gameplay is a little slow/off. The controls and the pacing could use some adjustment -- which would make this game absolutely...stellar.

Boxy the Boxcat in Evolution Escapades by matthias_zarzecki 2012-08-27T14:49:00

I thought the art was great! Great atmosphere.

ProtoZoo by raver1975 2012-08-30T18:18:00

Great concept, great game -- I would play more, but your choice of control scheme is really questionable.

Upward Mankind by chamberlainpi 2012-08-28T13:12:00

It's such a shame that you ran out of time to flesh out the gameplay and theme, because the graphics are great and the actual platforming feels good.

I would definitely play a more developed version of this.

TONE by DGoodayle 2012-08-28T12:50:00

A simple, but well done game. However, it seems that the music was not made by you, during the competition?

Homo Vermes by madflame991 2012-08-27T15:28:00

I love the concept, but I wasn't 100% sure what was going on while I played. I think a little bit more instructions would be helpful.

MJT Evolution by K1NET1K 2012-08-28T13:33:00

Great potential, it's a shame you ran out of time! I hope you get a chance to complete this project in the future!

Ludum Card Evolution by Atridas 2012-08-30T18:11:00

A complicated game to understand, but very innovative and ambition. Great submission!

The "using premade art" thing is a pretty big problem, and a real shame because I don't think it would have taken you very long to remake the art. This may get you disqualified. :(

Curiosity, The Untold Story by Zoomyzoom 2012-08-28T13:00:00

Great concept, excellent gameplay, and one of the few game that has a good implementation of an evolution mechanic.

However, unless I'm missing something, upgrades are WAAAAY too expensive. It takes ages to be able to collect enough XP.

Curiosity, The Untold Story by Zoomyzoom 2012-08-28T13:02:00

NOTE: This entry doesn't appear to provide source code, which is a REQUIREMENT of the competition.

Also: It's a shame that there appears to be no sounds other than music?

Curiosity, The Untold Story by Zoomyzoom 2012-08-28T13:29:00

Oops, I didn't realize that this was a Jam entry and therefore no source is required!

EVO - X by GFM 2012-08-27T15:17:00

I like the art for your character.

Pinbology by quill18 2012-08-27T06:54:00

To everyone reading the comments: I've left a cheat in the game. Push "A" to activate a multi-ball!

Pinbology by quill18 2012-08-27T15:23:00

@1hotmofo What do you mean? It's just straightforward pinball. Try to keep the ball in play. You should get a help popup with the keys immediately when you start your first game. There's also a "?" icon that, if clicked on, will give you the help popup.

If that's not working, let me know (quill18@quill18.com). Meanwhile, the arrow keys are your best bet (left/right for flippers, down for the plunger, up for tilt).

If you're trying to play the web version, then you'll need to have the Unity 3d plugin installed -- but your browser should prompt you for that.

Pinbology by quill18 2012-08-27T16:25:00

@Scaceoff The ball balancing somewhere is something that can happen to plenty of pinball machines in real life too (though it's slightly more likely here due to meshes not being perfectly round). Hit the Tilt key to get the ball back into play if that happen (Up Arrow, Shift, or X).

Pinbology by quill18 2012-08-27T18:30:00

Another elite trick for all you people reading comments: The flippers at the bottom are the exact size required to *just* snag the ball between them if you trigger both flippers exactly right. If you can do that and combine it with a perfectly timed Tilt, you can salvage an otherwise lost ball.

Pinbology by quill18 2012-08-30T16:36:00

@nddrylliog That's a really good score considering the current game balance. I think the points needs to be about doubled (or the extra lives threshold halved) to be closer to being appropriate for casual gameplay.

Pinbology by quill18 2012-08-30T20:08:00

@7Soul The gravity is 9.81 m/s^2, the table is tilted at a standard 6.5 degrees, and the ball is perfectly to scale at 27 mm.

I think the issue with the perceived speed of the ball has to do with the fact that the middle of the board is pretty empty, so there's a lot of opportunity for the ball to build up speed. Otherwise it should be an accurate physical simulation of real pinball.

Human 2.0 by dengzo 2012-08-30T17:30:00

Great art and sound! Gameplay feels a little slow-ish and I'd love to see that made a little crisper, but I have no other complaints!

SPECIES by alwaysinbeta 2012-08-30T18:13:00

Fun game, nice fire effects!

LD25 — You are the Villain

Conquest Of The Mayans by PTSnoop 2012-12-17T20:49:00

I like the art style!

HA!HA!HA! by KEFIR 2012-12-18T16:17:00

Cute game! It definitely feels a bit incomplete in terms of the enemies and the feedback that you get for your actions, but I loved the look and feel of it.

Money Manager by Kimau 2013-01-02T14:54:00

The concept is excellent and I'd love to see more.

Consumption by VanMerwan 2012-12-17T17:31:00

I really like the art style, and the twist on the theme is brilliant.

The "Great" British Weather by bradleypollard 2012-12-17T16:48:00

I thought Canadian weather was bad. Then I visited Britain.

Great concept!

Rainbow by ix 2012-12-19T13:45:00

This game is screaming for an iOS/Android version. Sweeping a rainbow around with a finger would be fantastic.

Alphanauts by dom2d 2012-12-17T16:46:00

Excellent aesthetics!

Kill Kong by shaneshanekavanagh 2012-12-18T13:40:00

Excellent visual style, great sound design. I love the feel of flying the plane.

I'd love to see the gameplay rebalanced, because right now once you figure out the correct way to hit and run it because a bit boring to repeat over and over.

Boxy Computer Virus by Rialgar 2013-01-02T14:56:00

I love to see WebGL get more and more attention!

Conquering Oneself by VDZ 2012-12-17T17:26:00

I love your interpretation of the theme!

Shorty & The Big Deal 2600 by Suese 2012-12-18T13:45:00

Fantastic visual aesthetic. I'm old -- so this definitely brings me back!

LD26 — Minimalism

TOWLDR by Hamumu 2013-04-29T22:20:00

Fiendish and brilliant. I loved it.

Fortuitous by Follett 2013-04-29T14:53:00

I very nearly made a game like this myself, and I'm happy that I didn't -- this is MUCH better than what I would have done.

IMBARINTH by brookman 2013-04-30T16:29:00

Great concept, music, graphics, and application of the theme. I feel like the inputs could use a bit more tuning, but overall quite impressive.

Tale of MiniMale by finefin 2013-04-29T12:47:00

I found three endings and enjoyed the whole thing. Great stuff!

dotLife by ddionisio 2013-04-29T22:08:00

Beautiful concept, beautiful execution. I can't believe this is a compo and not a jam.

Simply stunning.

Darkness by Liikeaturtle 2013-04-29T22:05:00

Nice concept!

curves by quaternary 2013-04-30T00:06:00

Something about the way this was put together was exactly right. Nice little game!

(OS/X version.)

Rocket Boot Camp by Liam :D 2013-04-29T13:15:00

No knowledge of 3d programming? Unity? Blender? Until a week ago? First time entering Ludum Dare? This is a pretty impressive entry.

My only complaint is a lack of a sense of depth/perspective. In other words, I had a hard time knowing how close I was to the obstacles. I think there needs to be some kind of reference object+shadows so that you get a better sense of where the rocket is vs where the next obstacle is. Actually, just a "distance" meter might be all that's needed.

Pat Chenko's Desert Chrome by Petethegoat 2013-04-29T13:25:00

That music. Those sound effects. Fantastic.

I also loved the shotgun pumping mechanic. I don't think I've ever see that in a game, and it felt good. I think it's a perfect fit for a gritty zombie shooter.

My Little Robo by m64 2013-04-29T12:41:00

The physics in this feel very good -- I love the "wobble" when I'm swinging the "big" end in the air.

Excellent concept, and definitely the sort of thing I would enjoy in a larger game.

I don't normally think of tablet gaming, but this might be a REALLY good game for a touch screen, where you could manipulate joints/segments with pairs of fingers.

Ballisto by nemec 2013-04-30T14:45:00

The no-jump mechanic is beautifully minimalist. The game offers interesting zen-like puzzles.

Excellent entry!

Color Treason by dcarogame 2013-04-30T14:41:00

I love your visual style.

Sleepwalker LD by Yarek 2013-04-30T14:38:00

Excellent execution of both the theme and the genre. Great stuff.

Grid Blaster by Alucard Jay 2013-04-29T19:34:00

The grid mechanic is not something I've seen before, and I like it!

Be The Wind by dstozek 2013-04-29T12:30:00

Absolutely stunning. Nothing more to say.

DHRDR by johnste 2013-04-29T17:06:00

Lovely art style and interesting concept!

Daft Pong by mikelovesrobots3 2013-04-29T16:45:00

After spending the weekend creating a multiplayer game for LD26, I was completely blown away by how smoothly your netcode was working.

So blown away that I had to download the source and Check. Through. Every. File. to find out exactly how it worked.

You can't do that to my sleep-deprived brain.

The Quest for Minimalism by Arkazon 2013-04-30T16:21:00

Something about this game reminds me of the ancient Montezuma's Revenge on C64. I like it!

llab by tonic 2013-04-29T13:55:00

This game becomes fiendishly difficult...but that's not necessarily bad. :)

I love your use of lightmapping/ambient occlusion. Good sense of physicality.

Pieces by wolfadex 2013-04-30T00:14:00

I like your visual style -- I might steal this "girder" idea in the future!

LD27 — 10 Seconds

SMS Racing by hlink 2013-08-26T14:31:00

Brilliant concept!

LD28 — You Only Get One

Leap of Faith by Ysty 2013-12-16T14:45:00

I loved the jumping/parkour mechanics. Very well implemented.

Onions Only Chance by joserodolfofreitas 2013-12-16T14:29:00

I'm terrible at rhythm games, so I found this to be rather unforgiving to play. The concept is cool though, and I like your art/sound design!

One World by supremefist 2013-12-16T14:40:00

An excellent submission. Love the humor and the "debate".

IMHO, this could easily be expanded into something that would do VERY on place like Kongregate if you split the world into more chunks and add more upgrade variety (faster fire rate, faster projectiles, multi-projectile, more damage, more effective debate team, etc...)

L1ghter by quill18 2013-12-17T13:07:00

For anyone having issues with the chessboard puzzle, the solution can be found here:

I had hoped to add more hints in-game to make it easier to solve, but ran out of time.

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Space to go by geekdrums 2014-04-28T14:24:00

Philip's right in that this is not a "game"...but what a beautiful and enjoyable experience it was. The music was fantastic and I found the story strangely compelling. I had a great time playing through to the end.

Nice work!

Water Hazard by Hemuuuli 2014-04-30T13:02:00

Honestly one of the best games of the jam for many, many reasons.

You guys should be really proud.

(I was surprised by all the nudity in the scene after the Captain's quarters though.)

Sea Fighters by Julgodis 2014-04-28T15:10:00

Nice water effects!

sirtet by ahnt 2014-04-29T12:11:00

FedIt! by zedutchgandalf 2014-04-28T15:06:00

Love the idea of feeding the beast below!

I think I would have liked all the graphics being a bit bigger to make the shooting less tricky.

Dany's Room by Alexandre Szybiak 2014-04-29T12:24:00

Great art, great mood. Definitely makes me crave some old school point-and-click puzzle games like "Gobliiins".

Yumbugs by Hypnohustla 2014-04-28T14:50:00

Fantastic graphics, great sound, excellent gameplay ideas and puzzles.

Given the child-like graphics, it's super disturbing (maybe in a good way) how jarring it feels when your critters turn "evil".

Crazy Drill by calimeraw 2014-04-28T14:37:00

Step 1: Put on mobile app store.
Step 2: Profit.

This game is a winner. (Although in its current form it's probably too easy. Adding in buried land mines or something to avoid would bring this to another level.)

Mimic of the Deep by Kep 2014-04-28T14:58:00

Best Mimic Octopus game I've played today!

Note that your source link do NOT work -- and I'm really interested in how you made the tentacles work. I'm assuming turning spring joints on and off?

Good job. :)

Dwarves & Goblins by PlasterPhantom 2014-04-29T15:19:00

I found that managing the stability bar to be a bit awkward, but otherwise this was a stupendously excellent game.

Logiki by Move127 2014-04-29T15:09:00

The world needs more logic-based games, so we can make people smarter. :)

Under a bush of roses by AmmoreChicks 2014-04-29T12:30:00

I think this is a good format for a storytelling game. Reminds me of a choose-your-own-adventure book.

The Crack by r0x0r 2014-04-28T14:29:00

The jumping was a little wonky, but I love the hand-drawn graphics. Would love to see this expanded to a full platform/puzzle game.

Super Scrool Bros by eLLectron 2014-04-29T15:05:00

I fell through the floor a lot, which made me sad because I wanted to play through to the end.

Call of Shroomy by Robert 2014-04-29T15:03:00

The lighting is really quite nice, although perhaps a bit too dark.

Under My Bed by akymos 2014-04-29T15:00:00

Cute drawings!

Mystic Castle by xerohuang 2014-04-28T14:33:00

Loved that zombie head attack!

Frank the Fish by eastes 2014-04-28T14:14:00

Love the low-poly/flat-shaded art style!

Pizza Delivery LD29 by dusho 2014-04-28T14:54:00

Great, intuitive gameplay.

I could see myself playing this on a tablet. On the john. And that's a good thing.

Drowning in Problems by Notch 2014-04-30T21:39:00

This game made me very happysad.

It was wonderful.

Tokelau by Mark Ffrench 2014-04-29T12:42:00

A fantastic concept for a game, but definitely tricky if you dig down too fast!

Nereids' Sea by Tifu 2014-04-29T12:08:00

Holy crap is this ever creepy. The breathing. The view port. The sudden death.

My only complaint is that it's a bit hard to tell if I've aggro'd something until I'm dead.

Good job!

LD33 — You are the Monster

Unsolicited by dukope 2015-08-27T23:28:00

A great entry that demonstrates that less is more.

Money Monster Millionaire by Potato & Taco 2015-08-24T02:59:00

Would take money from poor people again.

Even In Your Ludum Dare by madameberry 2015-08-25T00:26:00

I found this really zen-like. I particularly like the little cloud/particles when you bounce.

Something deep by General 2015-08-24T22:09:00

I haven't seen a gameplay mechanic quite like this before. Catching the subs was an interesting challenge!

Bloody tears by SeaMonster131 2015-08-25T00:29:00

I like the hand-drawn look!

You Are The First by FlamingHatGames 2015-08-29T23:00:00

"the house and fountain images are NOT mine, they are the work of several who do not require attribution"

I hate to break it to you, but this absolutely violated the compo rules. This should have been submitted as a jam entry.

Moonlight by amy742 2015-08-24T22:14:00

Oh man, that's some nice pacing! Good blood-splosions too. Hard as hell to get far though!

$!*# by Andrey 2015-08-24T03:11:00

The diagonal movement make this too hard for my feeble brain!

Village Terrorizer by Flygamer101 2015-08-24T03:08:00

Remarkably chill to just watch the village grow!

The Core by ferdbold 2015-08-24T03:16:00

An interesting, challenging, and visually appealing game. A bit weak on the theme, but a lot of bits I'm jealous of!

WEREDUDE by crazya 2015-08-25T00:17:00

Creative use of roller-skates to side-step the need for a walking animation! As a non-artist, I approve of such tricks.

Soul Ownership by lowercaserho 2015-08-24T03:22:00

Creepy and awesome. Played it through to the end and was happy I did.

Dread God by Somfin 2015-08-25T00:35:00

The concept and the art is gold. Love the transform-into-cultist animation.

Innocent Cherry by goost 2015-08-25T00:20:00

I wish I could rate your audio, because I really liked it!

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Drone Racer by Anshul Goyal 2015-12-14T22:38:00

I actually enjoyed this a lot! I think the "feel" of the flying would be improved if the drone took a moment to come to rest when you release the controls and also if it drifted a little. That would make the game a bit more challenging though!

Fifi's Space Program by MintArcade 2015-12-14T22:34:00

Looks great! But -- as others have commented the controls seem to lock-up or otherwise become degraded after a while.

Barber Chop by AngrySquirrels 2015-12-14T22:45:00

Short, but sweet. Excellent sound too. My only complaint is that I was so focused on hitting the targets that I couldn't look at the great art more!

Yarnful Days by amras0000 2015-12-19T17:45:00

Really lovely, wonderful, happy-feeling experience.

Jumping World Burns by mrjorts 2015-12-14T05:25:00

I'm impressed by how many functions you fit into 2 buttons!

LD35 — Shapeshift

Cutting Hedge by Headmade 2016-04-19T20:01:00

What a great concept! Just the right amount of physics "jiggle" to make it look fun and add a bit of challenge.

Shuffle Race by Darkgoon 2016-04-19T19:52:00

Visually reminds me of some old Commodore 64 racing games I used to love!

Star Shift Journey by Asturk 2016-04-19T19:57:00

Excellent hectic fun -- made it to level 5 before getting obliterated.

TiltForm by Gemberkoekje 2016-04-19T20:08:00

This game is challenging! I could only get a highscore for level 1, and I don't expect it to last for long...

Dr. Deckenstein: An Adventure in Severed Parts by quill18 2016-04-20T17:25:00

Some people are confused: **DISCARDING** a wound card does not remove it from your deck. Only **DESTROYING** a card permanently eliminates it.

LotsOfShapes by enigmakmr 2016-04-19T19:53:00

I really enjoyed the "unfolding" visuals of the shape in the middle.

LD38 — A Small World

Pity About Earth... by mwcz 2017-05-05T13:17:23Z

Very intense game!

A small cubic world by Lukesta 2017-05-04T23:46:46Z

The web link seems to be broken. :(

Sling Ship 🌏 by Quoclon 2017-05-05T13:58:27Z

Man, I am super bad at this game...

Nice work!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Grabble Story by Mahjoub 2021-04-26T05:49:36Z

Really enjoyed this. Nice classic arcade game feel.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Legacy Survivors by quill18 2022-04-04T13:45:46Z

@smiley Good point -- I changed the HTML container to embiggen to fill most of the browser screen now -- since that's not a change to the game itself.

no i in team by internetpaulicy 2022-04-04T16:21:06Z

I kept trying to THROW the barrels into the pit and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't progressing. (oops!)

Love the cubic visual style!

Evacuation Station by Taffaz 2022-04-04T14:20:13Z

I immediately found myself having fun, and the combat is really satisfying once you get a few upgrades. It's just a shame that this theme means that the game is so short! Good job!

MAGICAL JUGGLER EXTRAORDINAIRE by benskca 2022-04-04T14:37:31Z

Oh wow I am so bad at this game! Love the concept of the achievements to give goals to the player.

Merge Getaway by glitchman 2022-04-04T14:54:13Z

A surprisingly compelling game! The handling is tricky, but I think that's what you want for something like this. Really enjoyed the visuals. Ended up playing for quite a while (but never got a score better than 25 or so, because it's a tough game!)

The pawn's gambit by Duck Reaction 2022-04-04T15:01:25Z

Damn those visuals are intense! I'm pretty bad at rhythm and mouse accuracy, but I did manage one perfect kill and it was really satisfying.

EDIT: Ack, then my finger slipped on the next fight and I died. :(

Cat in the Bag by JoshH 2022-04-04T15:09:38Z

Funny, and beautifully drawn!

A complaint not related to the game itself exactly, but if I click out from the game I can't seem to get it to focus / capture keyboard input again. I have to refresh the whole page (and start over) for the spacebar to advance the text once more. That should be something you're allowed to fix if you can figure out how. (EDIT: I'm on Windows/Chrome if that matters.)

NAP GUARDIAN by nethead 2022-04-04T14:14:00Z

Holy cow, I wish I could art like that! Loved the humor too.

One Fuse by the neon shark 2022-04-04T14:25:08Z

Hah! Brilliant! Reminds me of what I loved from "The Button" on Reddit, but in reverse?
