Birdbird's Life Balancing Agency by Togimaro 2021-10-21T00:32:11Z

Very cool take on the theme, it gets super fun and really sucked me in as things started to get more hectic. The atmosphere of the game is great and the writing in particular sets a really great tone that meshes with the art and music really well. Great job!

Router Runner by JustinMullin 2021-10-21T01:34:25Z

I love the art-style - I found the idle player animation really hypnotic with how the ball ripples and bobs. The art and sound design mesh together really well too, giving the game a really nice atmosphere. I had the same cropping issue as a couple other people in the comments, I think this hid the icons for the top row of switches but I still had quite a few good runs despite this. I really liked how quickly things can get quite frantic, really soon into each round I found myself dashing around all over the place. I had a lot of fun with it, great job!

Cosmic Time-Out by nratcliff 2021-10-21T01:55:32Z

Incredibly polished, I love the sound design and the visuals look amazing! I really enjoyed the dialogue and the text effects were a nice touch. I struggled a little bit with the controls but eventually got the hang of them and had a lot of fun! Great job!

Goblings! by Tony Li 2021-10-21T00:48:27Z

The goblin explosion is super funny and caught me totally off guard the first time it happened! The mechanics feel really smooth and I think the puzzles increased in difficulty well. The only thing I would change is maybe to add a fast forward button you can hold down - I had a couple times where I knew the solution but ended up waiting quite a while for it to play out. Overall a really great entry, well done!

Atomic Decay by Zahab_AQ 2021-10-21T00:26:19Z

Fun game! I was a little lost at the start but this could be fixed super quickly with a single in-game screen explaining the mechanics. The sketched style of the art is really nice and the whole game feels very visually clear. Great job!

Orbital Swing by SpaceMonkey 2021-10-05T10:09:27Z

Fun concept, nice visuals, and the music is SO good!

Roller Disco by Marc Jones 2021-10-05T15:15:22Z

A cute idea executed well! I really like the simple and clean graphical style, it communicates the mechanics well.

Unfabled by Kwiper 2021-10-05T16:42:44Z

Beautiful visuals and great music!

You can do it, Astro Pup! by benskca 2021-10-05T02:28:18Z

@miss-iiv thanks for the heads up! Its working now!

You can do it, Astro Pup! by benskca 2021-10-05T09:25:17Z

I've added a walkthrough to the bottom of the itch.io page in case anyone gets stuck, thanks for the feedback everyone!

Short Fuse by beats 2021-10-21T01:48:37Z

Really fun take on the theme, I got out in 12 seconds :sunglasses:. As soon as I finished it I wanted to play it back to try get a faster time, so I think a play again button on the final screen would be nice to save the player refreshing the page. Great job!

Rescue Mr. Penguin by voodinator 2021-10-05T10:40:14Z

The gravestone caught me off guard the first time I died, so funny! The puzzles were all well designed and 20 well thought out puzzles is a tonne of content for a jam game. I had a lot of fun!

Celestial Waltz by gasgiant 2021-10-21T00:41:48Z

The design is very elegant and makes for a really pleasant and relaxing experience, and I think you managed to display a lot of information in a very clear and intuitive format - its always nice when a game feels so natural it needs little to no instruction. I think it could be fun if you allowed the player to vary the masses of the bodies, as it would let you see the cool behaviour that comes out of the restricted 3 body problem in particular (like the chaotic orbits of a planet orbiting a binary star). Really great job!

Green Leaf and the Garbage Truck by Cookie_CHR 2021-10-21T01:07:13Z

The art's really good and the cartoony style fits the atmosphere of the game really well! The game feels very polished overall, and bonus points for including a proper menu screen in a jam game! I think the game would benefit from some variation in the difficulty, maybe an endless mode that gets harder and harder until you drop a piece of trash?

Hexatris by josher 2021-10-21T01:15:36Z

I love the minimalist art style, it makes the whole game feel very clean and intuitive! The concept is a fun take on the theme and I think you executed it really well - its really satisfying and the controls feel precise. I think you could have made the blocks have a little lower friction to make the game a little harder (I survived a couple of bad blocks I didn't feel like I really deserved to) but that's ultimately just personal taste and not a big deal at all. Great job!

Rocking Glacier by SephoWepho 2021-10-21T01:42:52Z

I really love the visuals, the pixel art's well done and the bobbing effect on the icebergs is super satisfying. Got caught out a little by the cracked ice dropping on any touch at all, but once I understood how it worked it didn't bother me much at all. There's also really good variety in the levels and I think every single one was well designed and had a clear progression in difficulty. Great job!

LIFE|DEATH by Sockenpuppe 2021-10-21T01:22:49Z

(I played the original WebGL build) I really like the graphics and sound design, they build a really great atmosphere! I think a graphic that displays when you use the vacuum would add some visual clarity, maybe some suction lines or a whirlwind? A how to play graphic on the home screen that just explains the mechanics along with the relevant models would also help new players, but I know that is very much a post-jam sort of update and I don't think its absolutely necessary by any means. Great job overall!

Slime Asylum by Jel2217 2021-10-21T00:16:59Z

Really cool take on the theme to have the modifications coming and going, it gives a great feeling of instability and keeps you on your toes! The game is also really polished, it feels like a fully complete project and taking the time to make proper menus is super impressive. Only thing I would change is to add a how to play screen which goes over the basic mechanics.

Unstable Gardening by LdAuch 2021-10-05T10:19:54Z

The pixel art is beautiful and I love the music! The gameplay's fun and easy to pick up, and overall the level of polish is just amazing for a jam game.

Memories by Spidd 2021-10-21T00:22:00Z

The story was touching and communicated really well, and the overall atmosphere of the game was done very well. I like the level-moving mechanic a lot and you used it in a lot of novel ways which kept the levels fresh and interesting. Great job!

Batscape by agameortwo 2021-10-21T00:07:06Z

The platforming feels super smooth and satisfying! Nice varied use of the unstable platform mechanic

Alpha Decay by dsoberdan 2021-10-21T00:57:39Z

The game has great clean visuals that help to keep the puzzles intuitive - I think the slow introduction of mechanics is done well but a couple of text boxes explicitly explaining some of the less obvious mechanics would help a lot if the player hasn't seen (or has forgotten in my case) the science motivating the game. That said, I still figured out the mechanics after only a little trial and error and didn't get at all frustrated so I don't think its a big problem. Overall I think the game is really well presented, and I had a lot of fun playing it!

The Door of Illusions by 2CCs 2021-10-20T23:59:26Z

Love the game, its got a great atmosphere and the polish is incredible! Reminds me of the "This is the only level" flash games from a few years ago.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

The Egg Will Die by Patomkin 2022-04-05T23:17:04Z

Made it to 57 on level 3!

I love the sprites and the games really clear visually, communicating everything it needs to quickly and cleanly. I had a blast playing the levels you guys made so my only complaint is that I wish there were more!

Balloon Rush 2 by CocaPasteque 2022-04-07T23:55:38Z

I really loved this, the physics felt floaty in the perfect way - exactly like when you try to keep bouncing a balloon up in the air. The visual style is lovely, the music is just beautiful, and the two work together really well to give the game a perfect atmosphere. Great job!

Pissboy! by luquio 2022-04-05T20:05:56Z

This is a masterpiece. It really makes you FEEL like a tiny baby trying not to piss yourself.

Bomp by pvg 2022-04-04T21:11:04Z

I will claim my top spot for now :)

bomp.png

Loved the chain explosion mechanic! Balancing dodging the enemies with staying close enough to get a good combo off when you explode is really fun. Nice consistent visuals and sound design to go along with the great mechanics makes for a super fun game, great entry!

Delayed Gratification by jessekaz 2022-04-08T09:17:04Z

Really cool take on the theme and it's a fun mechanic that I've never seen before to have the player try to avoid moving onto the next level. The game ran totally smoothly on my PC, and I liked the puzzle mechanics a lot. I think the game would really benefit from some sound effects if you guys ever wanted to revisit it!

Mayor Necrohamster by BinarySpark 2022-04-05T19:39:21Z

Loved the concept and story, the presentation is super impressive and all the sprites are beautiful! I got the hang of the mechanics after a while, but I think it could do with a little more of a tutorial at the start to get the player started off - this didn't stop me from having a great time though!

Delay No More! by EggshellDog 2022-04-05T01:19:37Z

This is so chaotic and fun, I love the animations and how fast everything goes! It was super fun figuring out the best order to get everything done in, great job!

TOOB by Gatlink 2022-04-05T23:01:01Z

The music is great and the visuals are absolutely stunning - the shaders in particular are beautiful. The physics are super satisfying and I love the feel of the ship. Good job on the level generation too, the obstacles never felt unavoidable and every loss felt like it was just my fault for trying to go too fast. I think a great next step would be to step up the variation in the obstacles, some more dynamic/timing based ones in particular would add a lot I think. Amazing job!

Devil's Revenge by Zachary Shah 2022-04-08T00:16:46Z

Got down to 0.04%, pretty pleased :sunglasses:. I love the art style and the animations, the models all have a great style to them that fits the tone of the game really well. The concept is a really fun take on the theme that I think you presented really well! I like the stage changing mechanics and enemy variety but I wish there was a little more to the gunplay, having a variety of weapons or limited ammo and reloading would add a lot I think. Overall I had a fun time, great job!

Soak 'Em Out by Cruise Elroy 2022-04-04T16:41:26Z

The art and music are beautiful and mesh together perfectly to give the game a great overall style! The music's gonna be playing in my head next time I'm waiting for the bus

Wizard Hunt by Timur_Bahadir 2022-04-05T19:50:49Z

I had a great time with this! The platforming felt really solid and the bow was super satisfying to use. I liked the art style and the whole thing felt polished, great job!

Slime Survivor by rhewid 2022-04-05T13:43:03Z

Great game with a tonne of content, especially for compo! I like how many different builds you can go for and how much your playstyle varies with the different weapons. I think you captured what makes vampire survivors so fun pretty perfectly, great job!

MAGICAL JUGGLER EXTRAORDINAIRE by benskca 2022-04-04T20:53:36Z

@quill18 @defrag @orcifried @m11 @bubakgames @xcarl thank you everyone! I tried to make sure I ended the jam with a complete and polished project this time and I'm glad you guys enjoyed it

MAGICAL JUGGLER EXTRAORDINAIRE by benskca 2022-04-04T20:54:31Z

@vbj-gamedev it's a great idea to reskin the mouse, thanks!

MAGICAL JUGGLER EXTRAORDINAIRE by benskca 2022-04-05T14:04:17Z

@iluvatar thank you so much! A mobile release is definitely in the cards once I get over my post jam laziness . You're totally right that wind is a bit too easy compared to the others - first thing on the to do list is to rework it so it's a bit easier to miss and more punishing if you do so. I love the idea of restricting the region you can cast in, and I think it'll help a tonne for when the games running in a phone's tall aspect ratio. Thanks for playing!

MAGICAL JUGGLER EXTRAORDINAIRE by benskca 2022-04-05T14:05:30Z

@zachary-shah thank you! You're right the wind can be a little campy, I'll try make it a little more unpredictable to keep it interesting!

MAGICAL JUGGLER EXTRAORDINAIRE by benskca 2022-04-08T18:27:59Z

@connor-magson @frib @markymark @the3rdhunter thanks for the feedback everyone! A post-jam version of the game is waiting for publication to google play now with a *heavily* nerfed wind spell that brings it in line with the others. Thank you for playing!

Wipeout by TheMoonrise 2022-04-07T23:41:20Z

I had a lot of fun with this! It reminds me of the surfing minigame from club penguin but with some more weighty gravity. I like the feel of the physics a lot and the whole game has a really great sense of style to it. I feel like you could probably port this over to mobile pretty seamlessly to!

The Death Delayer by JakobTheQuizGuy 2022-04-05T00:45:43Z

Love the visuals and music! I think I agree that overall the game could use a little more player direction, but I think that would mainly just be solved with a more fleshed out UI (and this is a game jam so that is easier said than done!). Overall I love the concept and I think this is a great foundation, good job!

Under the Moon by Nakami 2022-04-04T20:43:54Z

Love the voxel graphics and I'd love to know how you made them too! The fighting mechanics feel great to use, it's a lot of fun using the RMB attack and scattering the gnomes away.

Lumber Tracks by Black Flag 2022-04-04T16:54:48Z

The concepts perfect for the theme and it comes across in the gameplay really well! I like the concept of tying the axe's power to your momentum - did you try letting the player call the axe back to them after throwing it? I found that if I missed a fast throw on one of the big trees the train would leave me behind as I chased after the axe and I was immediately done for (though this may have been a design choice and I'm just bad).

Dungeon Dummies by Jozef 2022-04-05T15:30:12Z

Great game! The art, music, and level design were all really good and the concept makes for some interesting puzzles. I got the hang of the mechanics pretty quickly but I think the game could do with a bit more of a tutorial at the beginning, for example I couldn't find the graphic you've got on this page with the different character behaivours anywhere in game (but I might just've missed it).

Dinosurvivor by YukimiItsuka 2022-04-08T09:34:53Z

Absolutely love the visuals, the dinosaurs are adorable and the whole game has a really cohesive style. I like the feeling of controlling all the dinosaurs at once and trying to build up to as many as you can a lot. For my personal tastes I wish the game got harder faster, I really enjoyed it once the spawns started to pick up but the beginning of each run seemed a little slow. I had a fun time playing, great job!

Battery Low by Milestone Games 2022-04-05T22:09:25Z

Beautiful artwork and incredible atmosphere, feels like a polished and complete experience! Loved the addition of the tracks both stylistically and to help with the trial and error.

Bloons by Vindigo Black 2022-04-04T21:16:52Z

Love the aesthetic! The sound design matches the visuals perfectly and the background music's really catchy. I think the games at it's best when a bunch of balloons spawn at once and things start to get chaotic.

This Is Just A Game by Convg 2022-04-05T22:24:17Z

I had a great time with this! Love the concept and the art is lovely (the trees in particular are beautiful). I think the core systems you guys have in place are really fun and I think you guys have set it up with a tonne of potential for future features. Great stuff!

Cynodon't by loueee 2022-04-04T16:47:31Z

Love the sprites! The concept fits the theme really well, and I feel your pain on features breaking in the build in unity :weary:

Hope you had fun in the engine, this is a super impressive first project!

Herbert vs Homework by Str8griz 2022-04-05T23:07:24Z

Fun game with a great amount of polish! I love the graphics and they complement the tone perfectly, and the background music's really catchy. The mechanics feel good and I think there's a tonne of scope to build on here as well, great job!

(big fan of the mamma mia)

AIRTIME! by Manny Mallea 2022-04-08T00:27:17Z

Fun concept and I think you guys executed it really well! I like the feel of the physics and the ragdoll effect's really fun but I feel like I wanted the whole game to go a little faster, I felt a little too in control of the character for the setting if you get what I mean. This is a really little gripe overall though - I had a great time playing and I really enjoyed the visuals and music.

Tactical Ghosts: The Impification by SnowyCocoon 2022-04-05T13:53:09Z

Great entry! Loved the mechanics - the game feels super satisfying to play, and everything plays so intuitively you don't need any direction at all to grasp the idea and start having fun.

Rage Against The Cocoon by JoeDev 2022-04-05T16:12:46Z

I love the feel of movement and the game is just beautiful! I really enjoyed the setting and the dialogue in particular, it's a really fun premise. I had a couple of issues with the camera but when I try to think about how to tie together the camera and controls when you can walk in any orientation on any surface my brain melts so I think it works better than anyone could reasonably expect in a jam game as it is tbh! Great entry!

Brian Is Burning by zappablamma 2022-04-07T23:50:57Z

I absolutely love this! The art style is super fun and the wiggling on every sprite reminds me of baba is you (in a really great way). It's super impressive to have made such a functioning roguelike in 72 hours and it's really satisfying exploring. I'm not sure how it would work balance-wise if this wasn't the case but it felt a little strange to me that you could heal completely off of the games clock, it gave me quite a few outs from messing up combat encounters because if I had enough water I didn't have to worry about how I'd approached the encounter. I had a blast playing and would be really excited to see what you guys made if you decided to continue with this! Great job!

Hot Blocks by Nexade 2022-04-05T01:34:22Z

This captured my favourite part of 2048 and Threes and then stepped it up in a really interesting way. The graphics and music are a good fit too, overall a great project!

NAP GUARDIAN by nethead 2022-04-04T14:22:15Z

Super polished! The dialogue, graphics, and sound are all great and give the game a really nice mood. I agree an endless mode would be fun and I think the combat could maybe use a little bit more weight behind it, but it's fun as it is anyways - great job!

Nature's Delay by xCarl 2022-04-04T15:47:04Z

Can't make it past day 60 for the life of me

The game gives you a great feeling of being overwhelmed that makes it fit with the theme really well. I love the sprites (the lightning animation is beautiful) and all the disasters feel really satisfying to use! If you want to come back to the game after the competition I think adding some background music could really add to the atmosphere.

Blorbsitter by Connor Magson 2022-04-08T09:29:20Z

I really really loved this, there's so many great little touches that make the player invest and feel responsible for the blorb so that when the ending comes it really hits you. The visuals and audio are perfect for lulling you into a false sense of security and the progressively more disturbing sprites at the end are distressing in all the right ways. The ending properly had an effect on me and to make something with this much weight in a game jam is seriously impressive, well done!

Giraffe o'Clock by Kepsert 2022-04-05T13:20:09Z

Loved the game! The art is beautiful, the music's catchy, the dialogue is great, and the platforming mechanics are super fun! I got real celeste vibes from the later levels with the dash, ledge hang, and mid-air jumps which is a very good thing. The rhythm minigame caught me super off guard in a great way. Great job!

Pixel-Panic by IdeasPerSecond 2022-04-07T23:34:48Z

Great take on the theme and super satisfying controls, definitely has the "just one more go" effect that makes arcade games so fun. Love the visual style too, incredibly clear what's going on while still being stylish. Great job!

Will Goo by Rafael Garcez 2022-04-05T15:45:55Z

My high score was 117! Really fun game! I like the concept and the platforming feels good. I agree that some of the sections feel longer than others, but it didn't kill me too many times and it was normally just missing a jump. I guess the issue is that some of them don't feel passable with the goo right behind you when you feel that if you played perfectly you should be allowed to continue. I had a tonne of fun playing, great job!

Slip or Trip by erikengineengineer 2022-04-05T15:38:40Z

Really great art, the quality and quantity of the models is seriously impressive! The core mechanic's fun, I like how you scaled the difficulty of balancing - it gets more erratic without feeling completely out of your control so I never felt cheated when I lost. Overall a great entry!

Delay Dragon by dindotjs 2022-04-04T16:14:27Z

Loved it! I think I agree with the general opinion that remapping a couple of the buttons would help with the comfort of the controls, but it didn't really hold me back from playing at all. The graphics are adorable and they all mesh together really well into a fun style. I like how the levels were designed to force you into some close shaves with the lava wall - great job!

Enlit by HGJake 2022-04-04T20:50:42Z

Really cool take on the theme and I love the way the game explores self-doubt. The atmosphere and writing really make it for me.

BaraRun by DerekBell 2022-04-05T15:14:45Z

Got 592m! Love the core mechanics, the swinging is super satisfying and its a lot of fun to build up momentum with it. I like the visuals a lot, especially the sense of depth you have with the layered backgrounds. I got some stuttering that came in when I started to pick up speed, didn't interfere with the game much but might be something to look into. Great job!

SILAS by googlypoo 2022-04-04T17:49:22Z

I love the atmosphere, and the setup of you playing along with Silas's narration makes for really fun dialogue. The puzzles were well designed too, and I think the mechanics you implemented leaves you with a tonne of scope to make more levels with. Great job!

Reactor Guy by GummiBot 2022-04-05T22:43:56Z

Really fun game! The trial and error puzzles worked well with the time constraints to make the game pretty intense, and I like the way you gave the player the three different meters to try and juggle. Once I understood what everything did I had a blast but for the first couple minutes I was pretty confused - I think a bit more of a tutorial would help a lot, but as I said I managed to figure it out anyways. Great job!

Elite Disaster Response Team - Volcano! by Ryne 2022-04-05T01:27:52Z

Fun puzzle game! I like how you force the player to make difficult decisions about what pieces to buy under time pressure, it makes for some fun situations when everything starts to go wrong.

Drater by lomstfer 2022-04-04T16:03:22Z

The controls feel super fluid and the way the dots move in sync is super satisfying. I really like the music that comes in after the first day!

Great job going engineless! I did my first game jam in SDL and had a blast, taking a look at your code reminded me how fun it is doing every little thing yourself

Baked Snake by ZooHair 2022-04-05T15:07:39Z

Fun game - the physics on the snake are super satisfying, and I agree it would be good on mobile!

Digital Pet by the3rdHunter 2022-04-05T01:05:56Z

Overall this is a great start and I liked the games style a lot! I found some parts of the game a bit confusing, I think a little bit more player feedback on some of the actions would go a long way.

Dave's Diet by ASize7Shoe 2022-04-05T00:35:21Z

Super fun concept and funny idea!

Balancing Balls by Tan games 2022-04-07T01:07:23Z

This is a really fun concept! I love how the you sort of have "enemies" in the other barrels that fall down, it's really cool to have the way you use your controls messed with by their weight as the game goes on and it really gives the player a feeling of struggling to lift them. This is a really great game for your first ever - congrats on making it and good luck with your future in gamedev!

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

ULTRA INSTINCT NINJA MASTER of the Dark Forest by Tygrak 2022-10-04T07:16:47Z

Really great entry, the controls feel intuitive and manage to feel nice and fluid while still being responsive. The aesthetic and the music match perfectly, and it's really great to hear fully produced music in a compo entry.

Swamp Dojo by Yngvarr 2022-10-06T19:42:44Z

The art is amazing, the animations are so cute

I found the blocking really fun but the attacking a bit less so, reacting to the opponents attacks felt really satisfying.

Pocko by ArnoChux 2022-10-06T19:51:33Z

Love the design of Pocko, they are adorable . The music is fun and matches the fast pace of the game perfectly, it makes you feel frantic at all times.

I think the levels of the eggs could be written a bit bigger, I found it hard to see them properly sometimes without stopping moving (and if I stop I run out of time!), but this didn't affect me too badly and I managed to beat the game on my second try. Great job!

Lights Out, Fright's Out! by TechnoNugget 2022-10-03T15:45:37Z

I had a really good time with this, the difficulty curve is perfect and all of the puzzles have interesting solutions which really make you think. Really really great level design!

GLUB? by DJTequila 2022-10-20T20:28:39Z

This is hilarious and SO HARD in a fun way. Really great take on the theme where you're truly dreading the 10 seconds running out. The movement is perfectly frustrating, it always feels like if you could just get which button does what sorted in your head it would be easy but that's a lot harder than it sounds. Great job!

DODGE! CATCH! DESTROY! by Solah 2022-10-20T20:16:14Z

Great entry and super polished! The minigames you have implemented right now are fun, and I like how drastically the pace of the game changes in the different modes. The music in each mode fits perfectly and really adds to the feel of each one. The visuals are in a great style overall and there's so much character in all the faces

I think if you wanted to keep working on this after the jam it would only get better with more minigames!

My Memory?! by Erk 2022-10-03T16:19:54Z

This was really fun! Spicing up memory with the extra effects changes the game in a really interesting way, I had to play as quick as I could to get as many pairs as possible before something interfered and I lost track of the cards. The game looks good and the sprites have a nice consistent design, and the sound design was really great - the card sounds add a lot to how satisfying it is matching the pairs. Great job!

KindergARTen by benskca 2022-10-03T11:22:18Z

@anxiousgamedev thank you, glad you had fun! The paintings get more complex through the run, so I think what you're seeing with some of the drawings being too simple is that I made the early pools of paintings too easy. I really had no idea how hard people would find the drawing so this is extremely useful feedback . A check to prevent immediate repeats is a really good idea too, thanks!

KindergARTen by benskca 2022-10-03T15:35:35Z

@greenphox glad you enjoyed it! It's good to know the comparison algorithm's working as intended hahahaha

KindergARTen by benskca 2022-10-03T16:39:27Z

@developer-on-trip I love Sebastian Lague, all his videos are so good! My first idea for the image recognition was going to be through machine learning but I didn't think there would be enough time in a game jam to get a well trained model working, so I went with a less flashy comparison algorithm in the end.

KindergARTen by benskca 2022-10-04T07:54:32Z

@rosymaple that's totally fair! Having the comparison being a black box the player doesn't get to see into definitely leaves room for the judging to feel arbitrary. The current algorithm is decently sensitive to location, which is where I think most of the frustration can come from (if the paintings of a tree, and the player draws a similar shaped tree but further to the right of the canvas, a lot of players will feel like they should still get the point). Thanks for the feedback, if I get round to making the comparison ML-based I'll add a post-jam version to the page

KindergARTen by benskca 2022-10-04T13:11:50Z

@coderaurus skipping over some of the gory details, it breaks the images up into chunks and compares the frequency of colours in each one. I found that its pretty nice for a game because you have parameters you can vary to control how sensitive it is to different things, e.g. changing how many chunks there are controls how precisely it cares about location.

Bug Zapper by Diego Escalante 2022-10-20T20:23:55Z

Really polished, I especially like the mini-tutorial where you can't progress until you've shown you understand the game. I think I agree with some of the comments that it starts off a little slow, but once it ramps up its really fun! I guess this would be breaking from the theme slightly, but it would be good if the level auto progressed if you successfully removed all the bee targets. I had a lot of fun playing, great job!

Drum Dance Showdown by cyberfrank 2022-10-20T20:10:03Z

Absolutely love this, really unique idea and you've integrated the gameplay with the music beautifully. I like how you took the time limit suggested by the theme and used it to make the player perform a normally slow and precise task in a short amount of time. Having such clear visual and audio cues makes the game feel completely fair even once it starts to get hard. Great job!

DIMENSION LOOP 2 by Danial Jumagaliyev 2022-10-20T17:49:02Z

Best game I've played this jam! It's beautifully polished and feels great to play, tonnes of great details that add a lot - I love how the music changes with the different boxes. The minimalist art style is done perfectly, its very clear while still being interesting to look at thanks to the flairs you've added. Great job!

Cats by Turquoise Moon 2022-10-03T16:32:58Z

I love the cat sprites, they're so cute! Fun stressful management game, it was pretty tough to stay on top of everything. When I won the park was pretty close to being overrun so I think I got pretty lucky. Nice entry!

Betrayed by greenphox 2022-10-03T12:44:25Z

Really interesting to have the triangles switching from friendly to enemies, and I like how you have to dodge the bullets even when they're friendly. My best score was 55, it starts to get really hectic after a while! Only issue I had was I was losing all momentum when I touched the walls, instead of just the momentum into the wall, but I just kept away from the walls and it didn't affect me much. Great entry!

Faster Food by Ani 2022-10-04T07:26:54Z

The art, music, and tone of the game all match perfectly. Jokey games with horns playing in the background are just a perfect match

It's good that the difficulty goes up when you miss orders due to the area getting cluttered with ingredients, I think the game was at its most fun when I was flinging lots of stuff around the screen at once.

I like the gameplay as it is, but I think there's also room to build on it with more recipes and more physics objects interfering with the player if you want to keep up development on the game

Void Well by Helzinko 2022-10-06T19:38:17Z

Nice entry, feels very put together and the visuals and sound design pair perfectly. I think the concepts great and there's a tonne of room for expansion if you want to keep up development. Great job!

What Do You Know? by Developer On Trip 2022-10-03T16:12:26Z

Fun questions! I got 64%

Like others have said the sounds design is really nice, I like the slowly changing colours in the background and how the screen is generally pretty busy to grab your attention.

The Cursed Tart by Ilari 2022-10-03T15:58:38Z

This was really fun! I like how the different enemies are much easier to kill when you're specifically one of human/chicken, it made the larger rooms with both enemy types interesting puzzles where you try escape the enemies its too hard to kill in your current form. The sprites all fit together very nicely to give the game a good aesthetic overall as well. If you want to keep up development I think some music/sound effects would add a lot

Perihelion by Fuse in a Bowl 2022-10-20T19:45:38Z

Really really beautiful, the extra visual effects blend with the drawn sprites perfectly. I like how stylised the game is while still keeping so much visual clarity, you immediately understand what you're working with. For me the controls felt great, I found there was a good amount of weight to the movement without feeling like I lacked control. I'd love to see more if you expanded on this!

Black Zen White by BoOdbarbak 2022-10-20T19:59:49Z

I beat the secret level :sunglasses:

I like the level switching mechanic and you did a lot with it! The puzzles increased in difficulty a good amount each time which kept it interesting and fun. I love the snoring box, the snoring sound is a great touch.

Lab Slime by Cheville 2022-10-05T17:38:03Z

I loved this! Super satisfiying movement and the sounds effects add a lot to how responsive it feels. I got sucked into "one more run" for quite a while, my high score was ~200 in normal mode. I really liked the visuals as well, very clear which helps a lot for a game where you're taking in so much info as fast as you can. Great job!

Escape From Paradox Place by Voidwave 2022-10-20T18:00:47Z

frog

(I love the central mechanic here, it's really fun planning out the different routes through the level and all of them being just barely doable in 10 seconds keeps the tension up really well. The music fits the disorientating mood of the game perfectly too and the frogs are rlly adorable! :frog:)

Blobbbert: 10 Second Navigator by Xorel 2022-10-03T12:25:25Z

Love the concept and the level design was fun! The last level took me a WHILE to beat, I was so relieved when I finally saw the goal . I think there's lots of cool ideas for level elements you could add to expand on the game, like moving enemies or doors that are only open every set number of moves etc. (Blobbert is adorable btw)

You and Floor by Climbing Dolphin 2022-10-03T12:35:18Z

I like how there are branching paths through the level, and it's fun to have to try and adapt to the changes in the level when it switched over! The controls are a bit floaty imo, but it did feel really satisfying going fast once I got the hang of the jump. This was fun, good entry!

Jumpy Fellow by ChungoStudios 2022-10-20T19:53:05Z

Made it to 298 also (I guess I died on the same jump as other people did )

Having the player wrap around to the other side of the screen made for some really fun platforming, I kept on forgetting i could do it at the start but it felt really satisfying taking the shortest route up using it once I got used to it. For me the controls felt really good, I like platformers with some weight to them so the momentum felt perfect. Great job, I had a lot of fun!

LD52 — Harvest

Lil Death by ghostbomb 2023-01-09T22:11:20Z

This is super fun, it feels really great when you get a combo going. I don't have a controller with me right now so I played on keyboard, and honestly it felt fine after I got used to it - though I can see how being able to enter directions with a stick instead of multiple arrow keys would be a bit easier. Stringing together combos by slashing down in the air reminded me a lot of hollow knight

The art is really lovely and the sound effects add a lot to how satisfying the combat feels - I had a great time playing!

Potato Farming Simulator by kuggenhoffen 2023-01-19T21:00:33Z

I found a hidden box :)

Fun game! Feels a lot like the gameplay loop of stardew valley when you're busy trying to grow things, which is not a bad thing at all. There's tonnes you could do to build on this after the jam if you want, like adding more tools, plants, upgrades, and things to do during the day.

Reaper by aevek 2023-01-21T15:19:27Z

This was really fun and feels super complete, if you hadn't put "I ran out of time" at the end I wouldn't have thought you had

The platforming feels good, the jumping has a good sense of momentum to it without feeling too unresponsive which can happen pretty easily when you let the player hold the button for higher jumps like you've done here. If you want to keep working on this post-jam I think with just some music and a bit more graphical variety this would already start looking super polished

Harvest Roll by NekuSoul 2023-01-19T20:47:25Z

Very cool idea, I think an in game tutorial would go a long way just so you can highlight different buttons and give a bit more direction. Having to balance what dice you keep, discard and plant is a great mechanic which made for some tough decisions.

Veggies store by chispaLBC 2023-01-19T21:12:01Z

Super cute art and animations! The controls feel very responsive and the feedback you give the player with the particle effects and sounds make the game really satisfying. The difficulty ramps up fast, just when I got into a rhythm I'd always start to get overwhelmed a second later.

None of your beesness! by SupremeKurt 2023-01-21T15:06:24Z

Really cool use of minesweeper mechanics that made for some fun puzzles

Some of the levels didn't seem solvable just off of the minesweeper logic (which does also happen all the time in the original minesweeper to be fair), but using the amount of honey I had and how far I was from the end let me solve almost all of the puzzle without having to guess too much - and if a guess was necessary the game resets to fast it wasn't really frustrating. I had a tonne of fun playing this, great job

Apple Harvester by rhewid 2023-01-21T15:29:25Z

I got 1152 :sunglasses:

This was fun and the game feels super polished, the art looks lovely and the animation on stuff like the rotten apples is great.

If you want to keep working on this post jam I think there's great scope here to make the game more complicated, with maybe more obstacles on the ground or more player mechanics.

Apothecary by benskca 2023-01-09T05:09:24Z

@horda Thanks for playing, and sorry if the first puzzle was too hard of an introduction! I'm going to add some visual feedback to interacting with the cauldron after the jam ends, I can see how it could be confusing

Apothecary by benskca 2023-01-09T22:57:13Z

@paulstraw adding some pop-up labels is a really good idea, I like having the ingredients unlabelled so you have to do research from the book but having the word "boil" or "crush" pop up on the cauldron or bowl would be really helpful, thanks!

Apothecary by benskca 2023-01-10T06:54:53Z

@danmerey thanks for the feedback! I always thought you were allowed to opt-out of categories in the compo like in the jam but you're right that's not what it says, I'll upload a version without music asap :)

I agree there's a lot of UX work to be done, the cauldron seems to be a sticking point for a lot of people so that's the first thing on the list to update post-jam.

Corny Heist by MightyBanana 2023-01-19T21:06:04Z

Really fun game! Great stealth mechanics - especially for a game made for a jam. I love the way the music changes when you're in a chase. If you want to build on the stealth it would be interesting if the farmer's behaviour was different immediately after losing the player, maybe they could try investigate the last place they saw the player while they're still suspicious.

Arrrrrvest! by SgtWeirdo 2023-01-09T21:51:25Z

This is such a cool concept, it's really fun planning how you want to use your time and resources. It's also really satisfying upgrading the ship and seeing yourself get stronger. My only complaint is that it took me a little bit to realise which parts of the ship were interactable, the railing upgrade for example I didn't realise I could select until after the first couple battles.

(The sound effects are amazing btw)

Harester by spacecadet 2023-01-22T17:28:19Z

Lovely game with really cute art and sound effects! It's really fun planning out your route from the level based on the positions of the dogs

I agree with what some other people have said that the view cones suddenly moving when the enemies turn makes the game quite hard, I think making them turn gradually would avoid some frustrating deaths.

Propaganda by She Wrote 2023-01-09T22:01:56Z

Incredible atmosphere, and the art style and sound effects match together perfectly. The minigames to give water/put up the posters are really satisfying, and they're the perfect level of difficulty to get challenging when the game gets frantic.

Pitchforks & Produce by Medow 2023-01-22T17:43:44Z

Loved this, keeping your combo up introduces great risk vs reward that makes for some super satisfying moments when you finally cash in on your combo and do a tonne of damage. It's a great idea to have the game loop but get progressively harder too, it lets you build on the content you've already made and add new challenges which is super smart when there's limited time to make the game.

Cave Flowers by Tk_Dev 2023-01-09T21:36:35Z

This game is HARD it was really satisfying when I finally finished it

It took me a little bit to get used to the jump adding speed, but once I got the hang of it it was very satisfying using my jumps and shots really quickly and building up a tonne of speed. The level design is really good too, it's cool how you make the player re-use the jump pad on the last level.

An Apple a Day by Hulya 2023-01-19T21:26:20Z

Really beautiful game and its a fun concept to have to manipulate a bunch of physics objects around the level into goals

The controls feel a little clunky so they took some time to get used to but once I got the hang of them it didn't impact my enjoyment too much and I had a lot of fun!

In a reply above you said "My jam aim was to practice and learn Unity’s physics", does that mean you hadn't used unity's physics systems much before this? If so it's super impressive you got a platformer working correctly in just 72 hours!

Down to Earth by Chum Chum 2023-01-21T15:38:45Z

Great concept and this plays really well, my high score was 2525 . Balancing the combat with managing your resources is fun, and if you built on this with more plants and enemies it would only get even better.

It would be really cool if you added some interactions between plants and enemies, you could have a plant that acts as a land-mine for instance, or maybe an enemy that digs up your plants if you don't stop it - there's so many cool ways you could build on this post-jam if you want to!

Nocturnal Enrichment by Big Cyckos 2023-01-19T20:40:22Z

Great atmosphere and art! The stealing mechanic builds a tonne of tension and its fun having to split your attention between that and the conversation. I think there's lots of cool ways you could build on this in the future too, with more elaborate stealing minigames.

Carrot Season by Dacs 2023-01-22T18:03:45Z

Really fun idle game! I made it to 5000 carrots and the win screen was a masterpiece

It's cool having the player upgrade the enemies to progress faster, I went a bit overboard on the upgrades initially and had a while where my farmers kept on dying and I had to rely on the tractor to bail me out (which is entirely my own fault )

LD53 — Delivery

Ship The Sheep by pixelstuff 2023-05-03T21:29:33Z

The visuals are amazing! The game has such a lovely warm atmosphere and is incredibly polished

I tried to play the game in browser first but I think there's a little too much going on for it to run properly - I found the controls were really unresponsive so I downloaded the game and then it ran perfectly. It's really satisfying rounding up a herd of sheep and then herding them all together in a big group. My only complaint is that sheep would sometimes get stuck at the boundaries of the level, and they were really hard to get moving again - since it seems like you don't need all the sheep herded to complete the level though this wasn't too much of an issue.

Overall I really enjoyed the game, great job!

Very Good Deli by Antti Haavikko 2023-05-06T14:02:54Z

I really loved this, the change in perspective it makes you have on the exact shapes of words is really fun and the kind of thing that'll come to mind when I see a random word for a long time to come. Giving the player a choice between the words they build is a great way to make them engage with the mechanic and think through how the letters will stack. The art style is very visually clear and matches the tone of the game perfectly, and the music and sound effects tie the whole thing together.

I ran into some crashes loading between levels, but they weren't common enough to stop me from getting properly into a run.

Overall this is just a great entry, and I had a lot of fun with it.

Deliver Us Evil by k8n 2023-05-04T19:02:28Z

Really fun puzzles that really made me think! The first took the longest by far but was incredibly satisfying once I figured it out. For the second screen, I don't think the answer should be confirmed until you've put all of the words in correctly - it made it a bit too easy to brute force. The ending screen caught me by surprise and was very funny. I had a tonne of fun playing this, it's always great to play a game that makes you take out pen and paper to solve its puzzles. Great job!

Beelivery by Jejkobb 2023-05-04T17:26:19Z

The animation of the mouse at the start made me burst out laughing, and the ending song was phenomenal. The in-game graphics were great, and the core mechanic of swinging the jar around was really fun! You managed to make the mechanic work in a bunch of different interesting ways, and every different checkpoint section felt unique because of it.

I really loved the game, well done!

Sadmazon by Olivier Millochau 2023-05-03T21:37:08Z

I love how the level gets more and more complicated as you play, remembering where the obstacles are and planning around them is really fun and becomes really challenging! It's interesting having to move with the packages weighing you down, having the extra momentum means you have to really think about the way you move. I had a lot of fun playing this, great job

De-Liver by benskca 2023-05-03T20:59:23Z

@sbeif ah yep its only possible from the stomach screen - that should definitely be an option on the other screens, thanks for the heads up!

@bmanstudio health decreases over time no matter what you do, so you have to keep on delivering good nutrients to survive - you also lose a big chunk of health whenever a bad nutrient makes it to the end. It looks like bad nutrients reaching the end re-triggers the game over screen even from the menu which is what was kicking you out of the how-to-play screen, thanks for letting us know and I hope it wasn't too annoying

Fast Cat by Terry_Crow 2023-05-04T18:15:58Z

Super hard but really fun! I actually think the difficulty is perfect, it reminds me of Getting Over It with the single vertical level you can fall down. I almost made it to the top of the purple section before bouncing all the way back to the green

I think an easy way to make the game easier if you want to would be to add some kind of checkpoints, but then again it's fun having the threat of falling all the way back down looming over you.

This is the game I've had the most fun with this jam so far, really great work!

deLIVERY by hwaet 2023-05-04T17:34:51Z

Hard but fun with really enjoyable writing! Some of the terms I could work out on my own, but a lot of them I had to google - which on the plus side means I learnt something new from playing

What algorithm did you use to compare the two paintings?

Car-Go Space by Demuss 2023-05-03T20:53:30Z

"Everyone else is dead, are you proud of yourself?" what a line to end on

Really fun driving, felt great building up speed and the game was at its most fun when you were driving fast and dodging obstacles. The low-poly visuals look great and the music is super catchy and matches the tone of the game perfectly. My only complaint is that it was a bit too easy to camp the spawn points once you were down to only having a few things left to collect, obviously the player has to choose to do this but having it as an option takes away from racing around the level a little.

Overall this is a really great entry and I had a tonne of fun playing!

Bagnole by Nicolas Revillon 2023-05-04T19:03:18Z

Desert Mayhem by uniquecorn 2023-05-04T18:23:52Z

Really great atmosphere, visuals, and audio - feels like a slightly more cutesy version of mad max

The inventory management is a fun idea, and the driving starts to feel really satisfying with a few handling upgrades. I found it quite hard to drive while rearranging my inventory but I'm guessing that's intentional to add to the challenge.

Is it possible to kill the enemy cars? I drove round in circles shooting them for a while but they wouldn't die so I just went back to avoiding them.

To: Tony by miraculousMelon 2023-05-04T19:23:08Z

Really lovely game, the atmosphere is incredible and it's instantly immersive. It's hard to get rotating an object in 3d to feel good, but you did a great job here and it feels really intuitive. The slow ramp up in complexity for the requirements was done really well and kept the game interesting through to the end.

Great job!

The Envelope by DzejPi 2023-05-03T19:56:00Z

Really great atmosphere, the dark colour scheme and overcast sky makes the game feel really eerie. I tried to diligently deliver all the mail even when the objective changed early, and spent the time waiting for the monster to attack on the final objective looking for 53 before I realised it was missing - I probably should've been paying more attention to the monster rather than trying to be a good mailman

I had an issue with some of the sounds in the game, for a little while after each button press I'd hear sounds repeated. It was easy to ignore and didn't take away from the game very much though.

Great job!

Hear Ye! by krummja 2023-05-04T17:55:12Z

The tone of the game is great, everything fits together to make a really fun atmosphere

The platforming mechanics were solid, and the graphics have a great style while still being very clear. It's great that you took the time to add an indicator that the enemy is about to attack before they do, it made it very satisfying to dodge their attacks.

Devil's Corp by Neobit 2023-05-04T13:06:17Z

Absolutely gorgeous game, with great music and sound effects. Everything ties in together really well to give a super polished end result. The feel of the shooting reminded me a lot of gungeon, which is definitely not a bad thing, and there's great variety in enemies for a jam game here too. My only complaint is that the game could've done with some more in-game tutorialization, but it didn't stop me from having fun

Slime Delivery Service by protowlf 2023-05-03T20:07:03Z

Super intuitive puzzle game that does a great job introducing mechanics and ramping up the complexity without needing much direct tutorialization. I really loved the art style, the game is very visually clean and easy to follow while still looking cute. My only complaint is that I found stacking my slimes on top of each other a little finicky, but I got it after a few tries and managed to beat the level. Overall this is a really great entry

Groove 'n' Goods by ekaktusz 2023-05-03T21:15:08Z

Love the sprites and music, after running around for a while I'd saved up enough to keep the bars steady for the rest of the night so I just sat back and enjoyed the music :)

GobEx by WeirdBitGames 2023-05-04T12:52:16Z

Such a cute game, the visuals are lovely and the sounds are adorable

Took me a little while to get used to the controls as I kept on trying to click and drag on the parcels rather than clicking once to pick up and once to put down, but once I got over that it felt very satisfying! Having the quick access to the replacement "gifts" is a nice way to increase the skill ceiling by rewarding the player for memorizing which is which.

I had a lot of fun playing, great job!

GobEx by WeirdBitGames 2023-05-04T13:09:41Z

@weirdbitgames I'm not sure, since you're also using RMB to open the parcels I'm not sure how it would feel if you had to be holding LMB at the same time but it might be worth a try if you like - I don't think there's anything wrong with clicking twice for what it's worth, it was probably that I'd just made a game where you click and drag physics objects that confused my brain more than anything

Two For Flinching by SoulReviews 2023-05-03T20:19:41Z

Nice use of gravity as a mechanic, and the visuals are great. I agree that some indicator of which planets you'd hit would be nice, but once I realised it was something I needed to keep track of it wasn't too hard to remember. I think there could be a max distance from the star your package can go to before it gets destroyed - I missed the planet I was aiming for a couple times and had to wait a while for the package to be pulled back in. The ending caught me completely by surprise

Out For Delivery by Groundwater Studio 2023-05-04T17:42:46Z

Lovely visuals and audio, I really like the way the dialogue is presented and how you did the speech sounds in particular. The power cord mechanic is a super cool idea, and there's a tonne of cool ways you could integrate it with other mechanics if you wanted to keep on working on this in the future!

DeliveryMaze by Theloopy 2023-05-04T18:27:51Z

Fun mini-games and really cute art. The game ended very suddenly but I think I beat it

Unicast Network Simulator by Richard Baltrusch 2023-05-03T20:30:59Z

Love the visual style and sounds! The control scheme adds a lot to the game, having to think carefully about your inputs makes you have to plan your route and means you can't get away with button mashing at all. On one run I had a map with some close together connections that made it a little hard to traverse at times, but that being the only issue with random level generation in a jam game is very impressive

Really appreciate the lyrics button so I could double check that I heard "Don't have a cow//It's not like Zombs Royale" correctly, the audio really steals the show for me but the game itself was also fun - I think if you want to keep working on the project you could make a lot of interesting levels with the mechanics you've already made.

Pipeline Ride by Papaver 2023-10-10T18:55:36Z

This was really fun! The visual style is very clear without looking boring at all, which is perfect for a game where you have to react to what's ahead so quickly. I think you got the timing for turning perfect, it's challenging to make turns at high speed but it still always felt like my fault when I failed.

The Dude with a Wolf, a Goat and a Cabbage ~ A modern interpretation by CaptainDreamcast 2023-10-04T20:37:00Z

I loved this, the "give paw" line absolutely killed me - I think this was the funniest LD game I've played

PawLocked by Thomas Higgins 2023-10-10T18:19:52Z

I used to have a board-game just like this! Very nostalgic solving this sort of puzzle again

The graphics are great, especially the cover image. I think adding some sound effects would be good for player feedback and some background music would be nice too.

Spaced out by Marcus Otterstrom 2023-10-05T12:52:45Z

Super polished and the game was very fun on the runs where I managed to stay alive for a while - my only real complaint is the difficulty, if that was tweaked a bit I could see myself playing a lot of this. +1 for this being a great fit for a mobile game!

Homeward by Wuppos 2023-10-04T21:29:23Z

I had a lot of fun playing this! Without spoiling anything, the toll bridge really made me laugh

The mood was great throughout and not knowing what you'd come across next and what items you'd need made the game very suspenseful, I like that by the end I was very suspicious of every interaction. I'm not sure if I was using my items more quickly than expected, but I never actually ran out of inventory space - not a big issue at all but it would've been nice to get more gameplay out of the arranging mechanics.

Storage Loss by MasterOfCheese 2023-10-06T13:02:35Z

This was fun - well done for getting random level generation working in a compo entry! Some of the rooms were a bit overwhelming, especially if there were a lot of enemies near the door you entered from - it would be good if there was more time to react before things started killing you. My only other suggestion is that some background music would help to set the tone.

Jurassic escape by DSFAN 2023-10-04T17:29:53Z

This is really great for a first game, I love the dino sprites in particular - they look really good especially once you get into a run and they're stampeding alongside each other. If you want to keep working on the project, I think randomised spawns would be a good next step as other people have already said, and I think adding some kind of incentivized collectible could be a nice way to make the player have to move around the level more - these are just next steps though, and what you already have is fun on its own!

Let Me Breathe! by 247gamestudio 2023-10-04T21:05:25Z

Very fun entry, I managed to beat it but only after stacking quite a lot of upgrades - it's really satisfying getting more powerful over time. My only issue was that when you get deep into a run there's a lot going on and it could get a bit visually confusing, I think it would help with this if the enemies stood out slightly more from the aoes they drop.

Packed Blobs by PowerOfSin 2023-10-04T20:23:41Z

I really loved this, very satisfying puzzles and the whole game was super polished. I like that you included the set levels with planned solutions along with the random levels where the player just gets to use the mechanics as best they can - its very different playing a level where you know someone hasn't designed it with a solution in mind which was a fun bit of variety. The only thing I can think of that you could add is background music, and even then this would only need to be very subtle given how clean and calm the game is.

Space Ltd by The XJ Project 2023-10-10T18:46:36Z

I really loved the graphics and the audio, the people are full of character and the music is perfect at setting a fast-paced and fun tone for the game! The only thing I would change visually is that the UI text is in a very different style to the rest of the game, I think using a font that looks more hand-drawn and adding a backing to the score/lives/round text in the main game would help with this

DEFRAG-MENTOR by lucydango 2023-10-05T13:01:35Z

A fun little TD! The gameplay reminded me a lot of the early BTD games (before they got as complicated as the newer ones). The 90s PC theme was very fun, and I really like the attention to detail you gave with the towers being their own "windows" you could minimise.

Shrinking Universe by Snorps 2023-10-07T14:58:29Z

I love how the different mechanics interact with each other, the box shrinking making it harder to both dodge the enemies and get to the collectibles is a really cool way to reward the player for doing well! My only complaint with the gameplay is that if you get unlucky with where they drop it can be very hard to get the collectibles, but this only happened to me a couple of times in a lot of runs so it wasn't a big deal. I also really like the graphics, they're so full of character

The beeper Man by FanNevada 2023-10-10T18:36:46Z

Very cool concept, and once I got used to it the input detection worked really well. I entered "raise temperature" and then wasn't sure what to do, I think a little more player feedback would help a lot to prevent confusion.

LD55 — Summoning

Demon bowel trouble by el-pepi 2024-05-02T12:31:46Z

This was really funny, and the graphics were really good! I liked the different styles you drew the demon in and the lighting/shading in all the sprites is really nice. I think sound would take this to the next level, voice acting for the lines in the yugioh minigame could be super funny

Hellcaster by p-r 2024-04-30T20:18:22Z

Took a few tries to understand, but once I did it was very fun! The two puzzles are both very satisfying, it felt very good managing to get in the 41-45 range on the number grid. I think an interactive tutorial would help a tonne with the initial learning curve, but that can obviously be hard to fit into a game jam.

The music is awesome too btw, you're REALLY good at guitar (I've been trying to learn for a while now and I don't sound anything like that lmao)

Loitsumaali by vinzBad 2024-05-02T12:17:45Z

The shape recognition is really good! I used a mouse and it played well, if I drew carefully it recognized the shape correctly every time, and it only failed if I rushed (which is fair enough).

I ended up using the golems over and over again because I could spawn them before the enemies came onto the screen.

Riftward by Flightless 2024-05-02T20:00:49Z

Fun entry! Doing the sequences for the spells was a cool mechanic, if you want to expand this post-jam I think it could get really interesting with more spells and time sensitive places you have to use them in.

Arise, QWERT! by niterich 2024-04-30T21:12:34Z

I love the demon sprites and the "ARISE" screen (the smoke effect looks really good). I think there's a bunch of ways you could take this if you wanted to add to it later, like adding unlockable upgrades or either something to attach the player to a particular summon, or something to prevent players spamming the good summons.

He Who Sleeps by benskca 2024-05-01T22:22:09Z

@henk whoops thanks for the heads up about the link! That's what I get for copying my formatting from the last jam :')

Tom Has Joined a Cult by LCStark 2024-05-02T19:42:40Z

Took a little bit to get used to the controls, but they felt good once I was used to them - turning on toggle incantation made it much smoother to play imo, I was using RMB for it and I think holding both mouse buttons down at once can feel a little unnatural.

The drawing is implemented really well, and it was satisfying tracing out the more complicated shapes in the later levels in one smooth movement. Great job!

Summing Circle by Rawb 2024-04-30T21:03:41Z

This was super polished and very fun! I loved the wizard pop-up + particle effects when you finish a puzzle. Once the puzzles started including the modulo operator they got super interesting, I did all the practice ones and the three dailies :sunglasses:

Are you procedurally generating the daily puzzles or did you design them?

Against the Titan by CodeRaurus 2024-05-01T22:21:04Z

Rhythm mechanics were really fun! They could definitely be expanded further (multiple notes at once?) if you wanted to but what you used worked well and was very satisfying to hit. The graphics are great, the pixel art is really impressive and I really loved the shading.

The Great Chicken Sacrifice by 1studio 2024-05-02T12:11:51Z

Really great visuals! I especially like the animation on the tentacles - the way they move as separate sprites reminds me of paper mario

I also ended up with some stuck chickens that meant my score just kept on increasing.

The Cleansing by henk 2024-04-30T20:30:26Z

Great atmosphere, I like how the synths that start on picking up each candle are in harmony :)

Without giving it away, the completely smooth camera transition in the last puzzle is a great touch that really makes the puzzle.

The Summoning Goes On by Inkweeper 2024-05-02T12:25:07Z

Looking back at my life, at least I did enjoy:

burger

This was super fun, I like the learning curve of figuring out what each of the different colors do. Yellow was the main one I had to be careful of, a lot of the others I found I could always make it through if I just went quickly. I also really liked the audio, especially the jingle that plays when you die.

Wand's Way by Inidal Dev 2024-04-30T20:46:22Z

The floating mechanics are fun! Once I got the hang of them it felt like the game could be a bit faster overall, once I'd set a decent high score (15m :sunglasses:) the amount of down time in a run to get back to it meant I didn't replay as many times as I would have otherwise.

Other people have already said it, but I really like the colour palette! The pastel colours look lovely

The Demon's Service by Michael Macha 2024-04-30T20:37:35Z

Really great audio, what did you do in audacity to get such a cool effect on the demon voice?

+1 to the suggestion of tracking how many endings the player has seen, it makes it much more fun going back for different endings if you can be sure you haven't found them all already :)

LD57 — Depths

Down Golf by chuckeles 2025-04-10T13:02:32Z

I loved this! The golfing mechanics feel great and are really intuitive, I think you did a good job communicating them visually. The particle effects add a lot too, the confetti on getting a hole is super satisfying. I also really enjoyed the sound effects, they fit the vibe perfectly and keep the whole thing feeling a little bit silly (in a good way).

Igbi Goes Deep by Jared Saizdelamora 2025-04-07T17:52:00Z

Really cool to make a metroidvania in jam and this came out super complete which is really impressive! I also tried to play the itch browser version at first and ran into issues - the inventory slots weren't showing up which made the game pretty confusing (I think your UI canvas isn't scaling correctly with resolution). I downloaded the desktop version though and that played fine. Couple pieces of feedback: - The music is great - I like the varied environments - Sometimes text was hard to read or facing away from the camera - Permadeath in this kind of game is pretty brutal - There was a lot of backtracking

Holy Moly! by Thomas_Bringer 2025-04-10T09:23:37Z

Really great particle effects! The tunnelling in particular is beautiful. I found that if I spammed tunnels the enemies could never really get me, I think it would be more challenging if there was some way the player was punished for being underground. Overall super polished entry, great job!

Digdigdig by hubol 2025-04-10T13:39:20Z

This was so cool, the audio, visuals and tone all fit together perfectly and the game has such a great atmosphere. It's so sick seeing a game with an intentionally low res style look so good, I feel like it's really hard to do :)

The combat is fun and I really enjoyed exploring the map, you did a great job hiding secrets around so that it feels like there's a lot to discover.

Dance To Heck by Tad I Guess 2025-04-07T17:35:21Z

Very fun for something made in an hour :)

I love the feet animation on the funny little guy and the music is spooky.

Minesweeper 3D by LittleGamer 2025-04-07T17:32:43Z

Fun take on minesweeper! I agree it would have been interesting if the layers interacted a bit more, but the way they do interact as is is cool. Hit a couple minor issues: - A couple times my first click was on a mine, which is a bit sad. I'm not sure how exactly the original minesweeper prevents this but pretty sure they stop it happening - I couldn't find any way to hide the text after pressing the "show info" button

Deep Fishing by SharpLoaded 2025-04-07T18:05:09Z

Really fun, I caught the special fish :sunglasses:

Felt a lot like the kind of flash game I used to waste ages on as a kid with the incremental upgrades, and agree that it has a similar vibe to ridiculous fishing.

There are some really cool bits of design here, I love how satisfying it is shooting back up to the surface and it's very cool that you can sit "too deep" for a little while slowly taking damage in return for catching better fish.

I really enjoyed this, only feedback is that music could make the atmosphere even better!

DorfSlinger by gdman 2025-04-10T09:38:31Z

I found some treasure :sunglasses:

Really cool idea to have an incremental game like this where you carve out the stage as you go! The pixel art is great, I like the Dorf sprite in particular. I think having the font and UI panels in the same style as the game sprites could help tie everything together visually.

DeepSteep by wo_ri_gou_le 2025-04-07T18:13:12Z

Really cool visuals, I love the dot shading effect and the skybox is awesome. The black and white colour scheme and all the staircases made me think of the painting "relativity" by escher:

Escher's_Relativity.jpg

My high score was ~30k, made a couple of very big (intentional) big falls to land closer to coins which was very fun.

Work-Life Balance by sarellano 2025-04-10T09:48:10Z

Hits close to home...

The writing has a really good consistent tone and the music is great! It took me a little while to realise the time reset at 24 (in hindsight it's obvious it's hours but this wasn't obvious to me at the start), it would have been a nice visual cue if the sky outside the window changed with the time.

LD58 — Collector

Unwordy by Omiya Games 2025-10-22T20:54:38Z

Not going to leave a rating because it seems like a server issue - I got a LOT of "Error" on the words I entered, I originally assumed I was being stupid and making typos or the uncommon words I was trying to type weren't actually real words, so I switched to entering very simple ones but still kept on getting Error:

unwordy.png

Super cool concept, and really impressive to have made something with this much networking involved! If I'm not wrong and this is a server issue that is able to be fixed can you reply to this so I can revisit the game?

Veggies Clash by Yorsh 2025-10-22T20:28:00Z

Really felt like I was back on the playground losing pokemon cards in battles I had no chance of winning

Super polished overall, battle mechanics were simple but engaging and it was fun coming up with a good strategy (the tomato is a beast). I also particularly loved the little wiggle the other kids do when you start to battle them.

My main feedback would be that the controls felt a little sluggish - I was playing fullscreen in browser and the mouse felt a little clunky.

Overall I really enjoyed the game and completed the full deck! Well done!

Business as Unusual by ConCaerus 2025-10-22T20:07:01Z

Polish is amazing on this, the text effects are really impressive! The dialog box looks and sounds great :)

Great mood and eerie atmosphere, I tased Frank every day on my playthrough to be safe so got the good ending first try - was wondering if it was possible to lose but from the other comments here I guess it was the right call to be trigger happy with the taser lmao

Greedy Collector by José Bonilla 2025-10-22T21:06:30Z

Fun game! Kinda feels like continuous pac-man with how you have to skirt around the ghosts until you collect the right kind of orb. My best run hit a small bug, I collected the big orb and the ghosts went poof - shortly after I went to move through where they had just been to collect another orb and I died, I imagine because their hitbox sticks around for a little while after they die?

I really enjoyed the music as well!

Greg gathers ghosts because that's what he loves the most by Blue Pin Studio 2025-10-22T20:41:03Z

Really great particle effects throughout, especially in the levels but also the GREG particle on level end is awesome lmao.

Tempting at points to camp and play very slowly - the power-ups make this less good but I think some extra time pressure could be good to keep the pressure on! Maybe health could decrease over time but be refilled by collecting ghosts?

I got baited by the endless mode button :')

One More Pack by Nomelu 2025-10-22T19:52:01Z

The gacha card pulls were really satisfying! The animation and sound effect make you want to keep opening more packs. I really liked the flavour text on the cards, the medium rare steak is so good. It would be cool if there was some kind of win screen when you collect all the cards so the game has a proper end point.

If you wanted to extend the game I could see this becoming kind of like cookie clicker with some incremental upgrades.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Cramzon Mine by recursor 2018-04-23T17:16:41Z

I really like the monotone art style which not only looked really nice but lent itself very well to a hidden object game too. The little jingles that play between levels are a stroke of genius.

Daunting Dungeon by Jiri_One 2018-04-24T17:14:04Z

A neat concept, and a proper mashup of incompatible genres too! The clean visual style is perfect for a strategy game and the music is really nice :) I think with a little bit more variety the game could become really replayable.

Core Dunk by stevenjmiller 2018-04-23T17:05:57Z

Took me a minute to get used to the UI but once I did it started to work really intuitively. Using an assembly-like language for a sports game is an awesome idea and really embraces the theme!

Type Fighter: Turbo by megamasterx 2018-04-23T21:38:10Z

The design of the player and the opponent fighters is really cool and I like the overall aesthetic of the game a lot, the soundtrack complements the design really well and the announcer gives it a nice arcade-y vibe - that said, while the fighting game aesthetic is definitely there, I don't think the gameplay really extends into the second genre that much.

Clidger by Mathiouza 2018-04-23T20:49:36Z

Good idea backed up with good graphics and music! I think the down time in between runs might be a bit high for how short a run can be though, going through slow menus can be quite frustrating when you just want to get back into the game.

a new day dawns by Ovidios 2018-04-25T16:03:46Z

A super creative idea and a really polished game! The art and music both fit the atmosphere of the game perfectly, and most importantly it was really fun to play!

Survival Dash by OldPeculier 2018-04-24T16:15:02Z

The retro art and music match perfectly and are both really nice, and its a great idea for a genre mashup. I also found the crafting system a little bit confusing as a lot of people seem to have, but got the hang of it after a while. Once I understood the crafting interface I started to realise that there was way more depth to the game than I realised, and I ended up playing it for quite a while, great job!

Neko Drift! by BluShine 2018-04-23T17:29:04Z

A really cool idea realised well! I think the game would really benefit from some background music and perhaps a bit more visual variety.

BEAT KILLER by Dragojt 2018-04-25T15:01:37Z

Nice job, the game plays well, the arts good and the music is super catchy! It would be a bit more intuitive if each arrow had its own column, you could make up for this making it easier by adding in multiple notes at the same time.

Duality by freso 2018-04-25T15:06:22Z

A really cool idea to literally combine two genres into one! I think the platforming on the left side might be a little bit too floaty, you have to be very precise not to fall down constantly, but other than that I enjoyed it.

Remember or Die by GameDevMumin 2018-04-24T16:56:26Z

Nice idea and the clean graphics help a lot in letting you just focus on the symbols. The music fits the stressful pace of the game really well, and I had a good time playing it. I'm not sure about the blue bullet mechanic though, as I found myself standing still waiting for a blue bullet to fire when I couldn't remember any more pairs. Perhaps another system for revealing the board that didn't reward slow play would be better - but this didn't have much of an impact on my enjoyment of the game.

Dyeswap by morphine 2018-04-23T21:22:05Z

The difficulty ramped up perfectly and not only were there a tonne of levels but every level was well designed. The only criticism I have is that at times the movement felt a bit clunky, but that didn't have much of an impact on my enjoyment anyway.

Rhythm Jump by _benhumphries 2018-04-25T14:51:15Z

The music is great, the synths in level 4 were particularly cool.

Tipio's Grand Typery by NedStormFish 2018-04-25T15:40:04Z

The mood the dialogue gives off is cool and made the game really compelling, which is super impressive in a typing game. The design is simple but works and I liked the music a lot too. The only problem I have is that sometimes after closing the shop the level wouldn't restart, meaning I had to reboot the game and redo the tutorials to get back to another run. Despite that this is a really great entry!

A Knight's Bounty by DarkAnice 2018-04-23T20:56:28Z

While the game's lacking a bit of polish and is quite short I like what I see! The sprites in particular, especially the rotation on the character, are really well done.

FTD (Find The Differences) by AL19890604 2018-04-24T17:30:00Z

Very cool concept! I was roaming around for ages before I spotted the flower with the leaf missing, but I eventually beat it :)

Turbo Viking by benskca 2018-04-23T16:29:38Z

@XCVZXC what happens when you try to download it?

Turbo Viking by benskca 2018-04-23T16:32:46Z

oof link should be fixed now

Turbo Viking by benskca 2018-04-24T22:41:39Z

@foolmoron they were actually the exact two upgrades I had at the top of my to do list when the jam ended, I'm gonna return to the game in a little bit so they should be in the next version :)

Turbo Viking by benskca 2018-04-25T15:44:27Z

@theBOSS12 that's really strange, that comes with the C++ redistributable that should be installed on any windows PC. You might want to install/reinstall the redistributables - they're needed for a lot more than just my game.

Turbo Viking by benskca 2018-04-25T16:54:13Z

@shellfish-games the random deaths will be you running out of time (if the clock in the top right hits zero you die), I just realised this isn't actually explained anywhere and the death message is the same as any other death so sorry for the confusion and thanks for the feedback!

Click for Speed by Borodar 2018-04-23T21:03:57Z

The game looks absolutely incredible, its kind of wipeout-esque and suits the game perfectly. I love the atmosphere of the game but it did get repetitive quite quickly, that said with a bit more variety in obstacles I think the game would be great.

Farmer 21 by Jon_Nova 2018-04-24T15:47:02Z

The idea of a farming/horror game is really cool, and I liked how you wove the horror elements into the repetitive task of farming. The game also really succeeds in creating a strong mood with little information given, which builds up a strong sense of mystery too! I think the game would benefit from audio, as well as building up the mechanics a little bit too.

Typewriter Dungeon by Jaime Paz Lopes 2018-04-23T16:28:38Z

The messages built in to the typing prompts gave the game an awesome, kinda creepy vibe. The eerie background wind and typewriter sounds added to this a bunch too.

Deep Soul(TurnbasedPlatform) by Franz 2018-04-23T16:51:51Z

This is probably the best mashup of something that's normally fast-paced with turn-based I've played so far. Its really interesting to slow down a platformer to the point where you can think about each move you make, and it makes for a really enjoyable game!

Beat Quest by XCVZXC 2018-04-23T15:35:42Z

The game flows really well and I like how the combat is fully managed through the rhythm game section. The sprites have a lot of character and give the game a fun atmosphere too :)

Omega-3 by NekoMkII 2018-04-24T15:33:11Z

While the gameplay doesn't really feel complete the audio and visuals are really, really great. The fish sprites and the little cat that pops up on the shop screen are adorable and the game has a nice vibe to it.

Farmer Dave by Spanner 2018-04-24T16:27:10Z

I liked the sprites, and a farming/shooting mashup is a cool idea. I don't know if I missed something but I couldn't tell what the win or lose conditions were, perhaps timed waves of crows you have to fight off would be better than them randomly appearing as it would give the player a definite measure of how well they did in what wave they got up to before losing. It's really cool to see a submission in pygame! It's an awesome library that I wish more people knew about, and great work in taking the challenge of creating a game with no engine to help :)

Infiltration Addict by Jammin 2018-04-25T15:16:52Z

Funniest game I've played this jam!

Jet Boy by Harry Light 2018-04-24T16:04:24Z

The controls were super tight and the movement felt really good throughout, and I liked the graphical style and music as well. I was really enjoying the game but sadly I hit an error on level 4:

___________________________________________ ############################################################################################ FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Create Event for object oBoss3Die:

Unable to find any instance for object index '2' name 'oPlayer' at gml_Object_oBoss3Die_Create_0 ############################################################################################ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- stack frame is gml_Object_oBoss3Die_Create_0 (line -1) called from - gml_Object_oBoss4_Step_0 (line -1) -

And despite this I still really enjoyed the game!

Carnage by EddyNeave 2018-04-24T16:37:13Z

I think music would add a lot to the game, just a quite short fast paced loop could make the game a lot more exciting. That said I really enjoyed what is there, the sprites are good and the game was fun :) For future updates I think control over the ally cars that spawn in would help build on the tower defence side of the game a lot.

LD59 — Signal

Cable Connector LLC by Jezzamon 2026-04-22T19:10:10Z

This was awesome, the voice acting is great and I really like how you did the cutscenes. The camera cuts with the voice over make them feel kinda like old machinima or newground animations. The platforming also felt really responsive, the mechanics felt a lot like metroid in a good way. The boss fight was very fun! If I could add one thing it would be more visuals in the levels to sell the environment a bit more.

There Were Signs by commanderstitch 2026-05-07T23:11:20Z

I am not sure what just happened but I liked it. Visuals are insane and very fun :)

I know the gameplay isn't really the point, but oh MAN my wrist hurts from spam clicking :')

Echo by japes 2026-05-07T23:38:33Z

Very cool mechanic, I think you introduced the different level features over time very well. Lots of "aha" moments when I realised the different things the echo could reveal. If you wanted to continue the game I think a good next step would be to revisit the graphics and possibly introduce some context for who/what/where/why the player is doing what they're doing.

A Signal in the Woods by Ethan Allwood 2026-05-07T17:49:01Z

Really love the aesthetic, how did you manage the 2D/3D effect? Are they 2D sprites billboarded at points on a 3D shape?

The combat felt very polished, the targeting mode after you'd selected a card was particularly nice. I would've loved some way to select cards other than hovering over them - couldn't seem to find any way to change my selection with the keyboard. It got kinda distracting looking away from enemies etc to quite precisely hover over the right card. I also really liked the cutscene/dialogue system you had, the text effects were fun :)

The Descent Of Johnny Baseball by Jajo 2026-05-07T18:00:22Z

Love the dialogue and premise, and the visuals are very fun. I was pretty confused initially but the tutorial video was enough to start playing properly. I think an in-game tutorial would help a lot if you're wanting to expand on this post-jam. Beyond a tutorial some more UI/UX things to help show the state of the game at any one moment would make it a lot more accessible, like maybe current character indicators or an indicator appearing when you're selecting your target. Overall I had a lot of fun once I figured out what I was doing!

Bitcatcher by freamdev 2026-05-07T17:34:27Z

Tough but fun, I really like the old-school cyberspace-y aesthetic. Same as a few other people, I think moving with the mouse instead of the keyboard could give the game a bit more responsiveness, I found myself just barely missing important bits because of the travel time of the player every now and then.

Audio was funky but felt quite repetitive, I think a little bit of a longer loop or more in-game sound effects would add a lot.

Overall this was a good entry, I had a lot of fun!

Signal Circuits by Alex Mulkerrin 2026-04-22T18:46:01Z

This was very cool! Dug up intro CS course parts of my brain I thought I didn't remember any more :)

It took me a second to get used to the controls/interface but it was pretty intuitive in the end. I think for some of the later puzzles a bit more background information could be helpful, or maybe a way to see what the passing test results are? I forgot what an SR latch was and had to google it, but then googling it threw a circuit diagram up on my screen which spoiled the puzzle!

Hoist the Flag! by oller125 2026-04-22T19:00:47Z

The music is awesome, it reminds me of Sea Shanty 2 from old-school runescape.

The scroll bar on the code window moves VERY slowly with the mouse-wheel, which made it a little tricky to move around the list. I liked the slow introduction of mechanics, you paced them out well so that the signals got more complex over time without becoming overwhelming. I think the spelling mechanic was quite a lot harder than the numbers and substitutions though, especially when you're trying to go fast. It might make more sense to introduce the numbers, then the letters, as I think they're strictly easier.

@henk Thank you! Yeah the notepad definitely isn't quite right, feels very hard to use for anything meaningful. There actually is a list of "seen symbols" at the back of the manual but it's very easy to miss - should probably have pointed it out directly :)

First Contact by benskca 2026-04-22T22:28:58Z

@lehmy the up/down arrows isn't explicitly the default, but when the code has no clue it seems to end up with that one a lot! The algorithm to decide what character you've drawn is pretty sensitive, so definitely not your fault :')

Call Me by MrWarranty 2026-05-07T23:53:06Z

This was really fun, the mechanic is simple but has a lot of depth - now that I've seen it I can't believe I've not played another game that tries this before which I feel like is a very good sign!

The movement and enemies felt very polished, and reminded me a bit of Baba Is You. The feeling of "crap, how do I get out of this situation" when the enemies are running off of your own moves is always great.

Points by Tesseract 2026-05-07T23:05:06Z

Fun entry! Difficulty ramped up quickly - didn't manage to beat level 3. I think you managed to communicate all of the game mechanics with a minimal interface really well, stuff like how the incoming train target is shown by the colour of the countdown means the game is easy to understand while still looking super clean.

I wonder if one collision being an instant game over might be a bit harsh on the longer levels - could maybe give the player a few lives instead?

Bulletproof Broadcast by ugly_robot 2026-05-07T23:21:22Z

Very satisfying ending :)

Gameplay was simple but worked really well in the context of the game, it let the mood and writing shine through which was all it really needed to do! The short button mashing section in the middle was unexpected and very fun. Overall this did an amazing job at building a mood, and it's great to play a jam game with a proper beginning, middle, and end!

Terminal Espionage by Frib 2026-05-07T22:46:03Z

This was so good, I think my favourite entry I've played this jam! Very steep learning curve but the detailed text instructions below helped a tonne. Ofc a more in-depth tutorial in the game itself would've been great, but this is a jam after all... if you wanted to go that route, I've found that interactive tutorials where you force the player to show they understand the base mechanics before progressing work a lot better than lots of text.

The mood in the game is really great, I love the attention to detail in the weird hovel you're playing from, and the monitor effects really add to the immersion. The audio reminded me a lot of Papers Please in a good way. I managed to beat the game, and it was very satisfying becoming more comfortable with the console commands over time.

One small hitch I hit very early on was that I selected a device before using "help control" for the first time, and the "help control" with a device selected doesn't mention the "on" command you're told about if you enter that with no selection. It took me quite a while to figure out what I was doing wrong before I realised how to turn everything on! Very glad I stuck with it though :)

Data Dungeon by MizAless 2026-05-07T22:50:14Z

Fun little game! Would be cool to see variation between the enemies, and building on the existing mechanics a little. Could be interesting to start making the player enter whole words?

Signal, Frog by SteveOfStevesGames 2026-05-07T23:31:43Z

My high score was 208, which I was pretty happy with.... idk how you got 500 :o

Simple but fun game! I agree with people that some of the features could be displayed a bit more clearly, it was hard to tell if the light was on or off.

Also I didn't mean to squish the frog, just wanted to say hi :(

Distant Driving by GrayMansion 2026-05-07T22:56:30Z

Really great polish, and the driving physics were very satisfying! I think this is pretty close to a releasable little mobile game, which is crazy for 48 hours of work. I agree with the comments here saying that you could add a bit more to the gameplay - I was mainly accelerating as hard as I could into the signal deadzones and praying I didn't get stuck :')
