Simple but nice. Dash isn't really useful. Sounds and graphics are great. I can't go really far because of a bug when a took the pink light.
@vikfx thanks for playing and for your nice comments. May I ask what is the bug about? I have not encountered that one.
A simple but nice game. Dash gets you into more trouble. This is the type of game where I would need a little more health instead of insta death :D Well done in publishing!
Hey this was a simple but fun little score attack game. I mirror what other's have said about the dash, but I did find myself using it to try and shortcut through the middle more often than not. Solid effort!
Having achievements in a compo entry is cool. Well polished presentation and I found the roll move useful for getting around. Sadly I didn't get very far before encountering an error when picking up one of screen clearers (this was in the itch version)

Still I could see it being a fun game as the number of enemies increases more and more.
I didn’t take a screenshot, but it was a JavaScript alert about a missing object. I replayed the game, but the bug didn’t happen again. Sorry about that.
It was fun collecting orbs but I had trouble distinguishing some of the monsters from orbs (I think this happened in the second level — I ran into a monster thinking it was an orb). Also, it would be good if I could move faster (I mainly got around by dashing). In any case, I like the graphics (especially the shadows and lighting) in this game a lot.

Excellent, complete, and polished game! I loved how the lighting and shadows were implemented. And the music works perfectly for the atmosphere.

This was cool, dash was very useful getting past enemies when it got crowded. The start was a bit slow, and I got hit when I reached the third enemy type. I was trying to avoid one enemy and ran straight into another :D There's no way I can get all achievements xD Good job
The game feels so polished, love it! Would like the contact with enemies to be not so punching, but cool game anyway
The UI and on-screen prompts feel polished and clear! The chase gameplay, paired with fast-paced music, creates a really intense and exciting experience. The variety of enemies keep things fresh and challenging. If you had a bit more time, adding a few more ways to fight back or counter the enemies could make it even more fun. Keep up!
Oh I love this idea - the more you gather, the more enemies chase you. Bigger score items = deadlier enemies! Some nice, visceral-feeling sounds and visuals for when you die, too.
My only gripes are that gamepad controls on the title screen don't make sense (the Start button selects options instead of A for some reason), and the collisions for the little box at the center of the playing field feel "sticky" - you don't slide across the walls, you adhere to them. (Easy enough to avoid, but it *feels* bad if you rub up against it!)
I'd also like to report a tiny bug - the collisions for enemies apparently survive just a bit longer than their sprites; I grabbed the smart bomb pickup and wiped out everything but I died a few frames after.
Very nice little arcade game :) I had one issue when too many enemies are on the screen that they could "glitch" through the wall. And some of the glows are spawned too much at the bottom so that they cannot reach but was not a big deal :)

Fun and minimalist—I too hit the issue where the enemies could glitch through walls, but I was mostly able to keep away from them anyway. Loved the music. Nice work!
Banger game, got 8/14 of the achievements. i really like the different enemy types you get with each different orb. And all the achievements adds some nice replaybability. Great stuff :)
Nice game, had some pack-man vibes, sadly game crashed, but i loved variety of enemies!

I apparently died to a guy that was in the process of dying himself (due to me just picking up the white sphere), I thought it'd be instantly safe to turn around (and, I didn't have much choice, as I was surrounded when I picked it up :laughing:). Music and sound all work really nice together. Nicely chill while intense at the same time, somehow.

Cool game :thumbsup:, core loop is working. Having achievements for a compo game is incredible. I feel like the cooldown of the dash is a little too much. I would try to use it as part of the mechanic of the game loop.
Wow! That’s awesome! And it even has achievements to unlock! I love the white orb that wipes out all the enemies! I would’ve liked to see a few more items or maybe some shooting mechanics. Still, congratulations. Great game!
Feels like a really cool interpretation of the classic snake somehow. Played it way to much.

Fun! Really well made game. The music fits the spooky theme, controls works well and the game is fun to play. My only suggestion would be to make player invincible while dashing, as it is often in similar games. That makes dash even more useful and important. Anyway, well done!

I got to a point where most orbs spawned on mines, maybe the white thingy should remove them? (was too afraid to check if I can dash collect them :) ) Also I confused the dash monster with something I need to collect
The sounds and music were really great! Did you make them yourself? I can never create anything beyond jsxr and not music at all

Those big orbs are really juicy. So satisfying to see the spirits poof out of existence. The dash feels really great too. Nice music, effects and general game feel.

Fun game! Kinda feels like continuous pac-man with how you have to skirt around the ghosts until you collect the right kind of orb. My best run hit a small bug, I collected the big orb and the ghosts went poof - shortly after I went to move through where they had just been to collect another orb and I died, I imagine because their hitbox sticks around for a little while after they die?
I really enjoyed the music as well!
Hope it wont be too late but it is astonishing to have a achievement system as a compo! Quite satisfactory in terms of completion. I like the enemy balance especially. Nice entry!
