It wasn't until the level 6 that I understood the scope of catch, and it was from this level that catch became particularly difficult.

And a small problem is, obviously the catcher couldn't reach the edge due to the scope, but there ARE rare situations when a ball generates and moves close to the wall, making it impossible to catch.

But anyway, it's a cool game in terms of graphic design :)

有一点取巧的成分在里面,但是collector做个战棋出来好像也确实是合理的,鲜有人选但是很好的选题。

主要问题:开头一上来就让选还以为是buff原来全是debuff~~叽里咕噜说什么玩意呢和我的大运说去吧最后拿Rock给对面无脑风筝死了~~;消耗数其实取正数看着顺眼一点(消耗是正的然后王取负数或者直接写提供点数);pick新子只有拿到才知道这玩意干嘛的;如前面的评论所述的典型翻译不完全和中文版式问题(如下图)。

另外不是很熟godot,`steam_api64.dll`这个必需文件是干啥的~~而且在你们v0.6的包里面忘记封这玩意了导致我还是从v0.5的包里面CV了一个过来~~。

很不巧玩过类似的好像还是新独游,还在开发中的《你确定要喝这个吗?》,回复可能会比较拿那个做参照了w

其实作为collect的话,玩起来还是有意思的,屯屯鼠这一块的如果用优解解了会比较有成就感,不过看前面回复和实际玩下来没做药水的延续,也还行吧不差

作为jam来说倒是没有做图鉴的必要,但组合一旦多起来让玩家去记会发生什么很头疼,就目前自己试的结果是有降防和额外回血,不知道为什么最后boss标的atk15但基伤20,可能还有不少没探索到的地方;还有一个问题是buff反馈不太明显,可能是显示bug还是怎么样有buff掉了sprite的变色没变这类的

总体玩下来情绪价值还是很不错的,祝好名次

collector这个theme做贪吃蛇是再好不过了,最近玩了一些其他compo,把键位控制作为collect的元素我觉得是很亮眼的设计。

看到你的封面想到最近看的Trifolium,不知道你有没有看过那个,我个人感觉蛮像,叠加的机制其实蛮有设计潜力的。

另外不知道是沟槽的Win11的问题还是游戏本身机制的实现不完善吧,我玩的时候蛇没叠起来过,有时候苹果吃不掉(蛇变长了但渲染苹果还在原位),看上面截图看上去蛇应该叠起来才对但是我这边就完全没有,蛇乱穿墙等等。之前在玩其他人的游戏也各种问题真服了,我觉得真有可能是Windows11和Godot有不兼容还是怎么回事(恼)...

I finished the game in General Victory, Friend of the Animals and Humanist Ending, then found the Chicken Ending.

Instead of a soul collector, I AM a bug collector, I found more bugs than I expected in the game.

1. When the player dies, the logic in game stuck so that it won't respond to anything. QQ20251007-143706.png 2. The arrow and player obviously have much larger collision boxes than they appear, but the physics collision boxes appear much more correct, which allows the arrow to graz the player and lose HP. I guess that's the bugs above are the engine's problem, not yours.

However:

3. You forgot to reset the HP in `ready_()`, instead they are just defined on the top, which made the HP unrecoverable after pressing reset. 4. I noticed that you have swapped chicken ending and humanist ending in file, and swapped them again in function to make everything correct.

As a compo, I would rate this game as *amusing*, and giving it extra points for its humor. It also fits the theme quite well and is suitable for playing during leisure time :)

I have checked the codes again, it must be a game with good modeling I think, which is something I haven't seen through the day.

I've been thinking about making the process of collecting be a burden for player, and here's a perfect example with the inspiration of mine-sweeper, and mixed with rouge gameplay.

The increased variety of minerals, lack of luck, and a steep difficulty progression, combined with a lack of clarity about what minerals are found on a certain given level, contributed to the game's higher difficulty levels on early stages. However, this problem was alleviated as the player gained more power through upgreades.

The most frustrating moment was when I felt I couldn't go any further and climbed the ladder back, only to discover I didn't have enough to upgrade lmao.

~~肉鸽打jam包吃香的~~

类似俄罗斯方块+地牢rougelite,构建的战斗性collector,加上美术音乐,总体完成度还是很ok的。

要说问题的话,前面的说过的难度平衡性、敌人开局应该分散而不是一下子就刷脸上这种问题就不详细赘述了,除了大伙都知道的元气骑士外,有一个Magic Survival(韩国的)不知道你们有没有听说过,我觉得像那样的发展潜力也是有的。

有一个我自己比较在意的点是,游戏其实战斗范围并不大(考虑到敌人的移速并不低的情况下),但是边界很不明确,游戏整体游玩下来偏二维但选择了偏三维的tile,加上区域内区域外的tile纹理区分度小,边界比较不易观察,非常容易撞墙,这一点对我来说是比较影响游戏体验。

In the infinite level, there is actually no boundary, and the only condition for death is hitting yourself or taking too much poison(which is almost impossible). I guess you're talking about that you're hitting yourself because you can't see where to loop, which is really just laziness on my part, and that's all I can do because of the resizing adaptation issue.

That's is a bit over-expected to have my game to be made to an animated image! I have checked your game and you definitely have a great sense of humor.

In fact, this little guy was originally designed as a rabbit, which would be frightened by a snake and crash into a wall to die (from the idiom "waiting for the rabbit by the tree"). However, that would only encourage players to mindlessly scare the rabbit to death and then eat it. To add a little more fun, I changed the algorithm slightly and replaced it with a mouse, giving it the ability to escape, in a sense similar to the game "Sokoban". You explored this and I am really glad to see it :)

条件上第五关是在第四关完成之后解锁,我觉着可能是遇到bug了

机关(在代码里面这玩意是“I型压力板”)对应一次性机关,解锁条件是“总重大于计数” && “每个压力板都被踩着(包括蛇头、蛇身、老鼠)”,条件达成后对应的门永久解锁。

事实上在Level 3应该可以注意到总重为5时踩下其中一个压力板没反应,不过对于老鼠占压力板这一个条件可能并不明确,这一个机制只有在Level 5才有说明(这也是为什么建议玩过Level 5之后再去玩Level 8)包括老鼠会被蛇的直线逼近吓走这个机制实际上也做的并不算太好,也算是预料之内的情况。

另外原本考虑了更复杂的设计,比如说多只老鼠+多个I型板构造类似于推箱子那种感觉的、蛇完全踩不到的谜题,不过实在没想到比较好的就没做进去w

上面也没回复+没人问过,看着离jam结束也不久了,写一个老鼠目前机制的详细说明吧:

1. 首先,预期的常规关老鼠的惊吓机制(老鼠-蛇-地形交互逻辑)如下: 1. 由蛇的直线指向引起惊吓,在3格内开始生效——非直线的指向不会引起老鼠逃跑,这一步骤旨在~~降低函数运算量~~给予玩家一个稍微明确一些的反馈 2. 老鼠按蛇方向-蛇右手方向-蛇左手方向的优先顺序策划逃跑路线,例如,在没有任何阻挡的情况下,老鼠和蛇保持一致的运动方向,而受到阻挡后,顺位考虑下一个移动方法,除非无路可走那么就会被蛇吃掉,蛇变长一格;引起阻挡的情形包括墙、蛇头、蛇身、~~老鼠~~——是的,老鼠可以穿门 3. 如果蛇头下一步不再指向老鼠,那么老鼠不再移动——如指向后蛇左转、右转 4. ~~事实上在多老鼠这块程序已经崩了~~当有一个老鼠跑向自己的周围8方向一格的范围,会引起连带的惊吓,所有连带老鼠保持同一方向,如果无法移动,按2的优先级调整,直至无路可走,~~实际测试发现老鼠会叠一起就很麻烦了所以最后关卡里面没有~~ 2. 老鼠可以吃掉食物而不受其影响 3. 老鼠踩上I型压力板,视作该压力板踩上并减少1重量需求;踩上II型压力板,视作一次踩上

对于这个惊吓,上面有个gif应该能说明问题,可以看到始终是右转。level 5强制只有使用惊吓方法才能解决,而且设计了一个跨格而非贴脸的惊吓,level 8的话“检票口——保持距离”,也是有点为了这碟酱油包的饺子的意味了,level 8是双II门,虽然都是II型但是不是全局影响的,麻烦很大当时调了半天,结果level 8的难度反而没有level 5大了/笑

本来计划是做多鼠的~~原计划是复刻一个华容道出来的~~,程序不给力最后删了;另外这个3格其实还能做隔墙吓老鼠的题目,不过由于时间原因没想到特别好的题目就放弃了

inf就比较简单了,30秒后和毒药随机在场上生成,不会逃跑,用随机的四方向移动取代了,吃了变长

敲这么长一段也是有感而发,关卡设计确实还是挺麻烦,程序不好就更要命了w

因为技能点全点设计谜题上了美术和音乐差太多了,实际上对这次jam的谜题设计还是不太满意,不过毕竟第一次参赛有个印象也好以后有空再来打

I have to say games like "The Witness" or "Understand" are good games and they provide a pattern, which guides the player to think about and choose the right possiblity of rules, rather than telling them directly. I tried to apply it to this game, and I am quite delighted to have someone's comment about the idea and the potential to make larger puzzles. It's a pity that I hadn't came up with an elegent one in the 2 days of compo.

美术&音乐&氛围:小清新+lowpoly,看着很舒服

gp:可拓展性和游戏引导是ok的,但是3D部分还需要改善,包括前面其他人提过的移动(现在的镜头相当于是反转Y轴,我个人不是很习惯只有开载具才会用这种控制,另外灵敏度似乎有点高不知道怎么回事)、3D的fov不足导致看上去略挤容易晕、跳跃逻辑设计可能有点问题(现在容易在边缘难以起跳,我玩跳跳乐真的容易红w)、最好能有个重置(现在摔下去已经放大的块会缩不回去,必须上去缩小、即又摔一次才能继续跳跃等等)。另外正好有个手柄就试了一下,你忘记标手柄的跳跃和交互了/笑

unity试用这个问题有点奇怪不知道你用的哪个版本,按说可以免费领个个人许可就不会有trial?我自己的2022lfs是没出过这种问题,还是经典被团结引擎坑了这种?

排开gp以外的部分我觉得还是蛮吸引人的,祝好名次!

A fun sandbox with simple design, instead of a oscilloscope simulator, it is more like a "Hearing Impairment Simulator".

For those feels confused, here's what will those button do(just my guess):

1. Frequency Modulation(+ acceleration, - deceleration) 2. Direction Speed Modulation(+ right acceleration, - left acceleration) 3. Amplitude Modulation(+ right acceleration, - left acceleration)

The position of the sound source and the ear can also be changed, to get a balanced output, put the ear in the middle of the screen.

I'm not sure what software the `*.mfa` file was written with, thus I have no way of reading the source code. When the red flashes, indicating hearing impairment, the visuals will become noticeably different.

A notable gameplay issue is the occasional very unnatural camera rotation, which made me a bit dizzy from 3D motion sickness, haha.

Overall it's a pretty game. The varying ranges of the signal towers often result in one-way paths, so find right timing to avoid jammers and carefully plan your routes is crucial.

无论是storyboard再到graphic、music,还有整体的氛围、调性,很具有浪漫色彩,从各方面来说完成度都不输Jam甚至Extra的作品,确实是看着直播做完的,辛苦啦;被Compo打飞了QwQ

虽然自己打音游,玩法上还是memorize pattern/repeat为主,但片手3k还是有点难度,错一个又要重新拍;自己电脑的延迟明显不对劲,还好miss容差足够大+后面3拍子和7拍子的点没那么多,整个通下来相对轻松;不知道不打音游的怎么样。

有时候靠近星球的末端可以提前知道答案?不知道这个是bug还是就skip了;以及不知道星球的捕获和逃逸是不是有方向限制的,有时候一个题做完了摁半天走不出去。

感觉这次又要拿奖了,祝好名次。

Since C Sharp programs are cross-platform, creating a Mac distribution is feasible. I've already uploaded it(*.app pack); give it a try.

However, I don't have any Apple devices, so I can't run tests. I've seen mentions that Apple has strict restrictions on externally sourced applications, I have no idea if it COULD run.

@fifut I have never expected to see a real electrician as you. As far as I know, robotics seems to be more related to things like matric transforms, but I am glad that you do enjoy the game by debugging signals :)

@mr-flower The fun of puzzle games lies in creating "aha moment" by making a game relatively difficult yet solvable. Of course, since it's gamejam, to balance playtime and game richness, the puzzles aren't made too "hard". Though it's "difficult", you still chose to finish it and complete the reasoning for the nodes. I am glad that you like the game and thank you for playing it.

@yarcha Indeed the game is relatively poor on tutorial design, but I am glad that hints in later levels did help. Thank you for playing and enjoying it.

@rubatotree One of the gameplay design was to discover patterns through trial and error with unfamiliar things. The coding of probe tool rise some programming challenges, so the part is indeed somewhat insufficient. Thank you for your suggestions regarding the graphics and atmosphere.

@peppersalt07 I'm glad this game truly created "aha moments." As you said, having a notebook or something to record what happened would definitely make the gameplay much more natural, but that would require creating more scenes so I just skipped. Thank you for playing it.

@noobman64 I'm glad you enjoyed the game's minimalist design. The game is indeed designed to allow for "wrong" or non-unique ways to complete it, so you can choose to skip it or try to figure out the function of nodes and calculate a serious solution; just like an electrician does in real life: sometimes you don't need to fully understand it, as long as it "works." @adam-gould Thanks for your playing. It is nice of you to make a Linux distribution and I am pretty thankful, however Linux distribution differs and the game is not really attractive so a copy is not necessary at present I think. If someone needs it just build on his own Linux since you had proven the code is compilable.

Playing this game is truly a test of patience... Scouting ahead and waiting for the path to light up feels a bit over time-consuming. Furthermore, understanding the gameplay also took up quite a bit of time; it would have been helpful to have a concrete, tiny example right at the start to serve as a tutorial.

Overall, the game feels quite polished—from the music and visuals to the narrative design—and though I am not a core-music lover, I think it stands out as an nice jam entry.

In terms of puzzle-solving, it presents a classic parity problem, yet the gameplay also evokes a bit of a *Tetris* vibe. The additional pause function is a truly good improvement.
