Lovely amount of polish on this. There's a very good chance that i'm not the target audience for this type of game, and I had to go a Google what a Nonogram was and how to solve them.
Ideally I would want a little bit of tutorialisation inside the game, or at least some instructions somewhere so that the plebs like me can have a go. Once I had sussed what I needed to do it was a really pleasant experience and the mirror mechanic is super unique.
All in all it's a great little game, it just needs a little something to cater to those who aren't familiar with this type of puzzle.

Fantastic game, the best I've played so far!!!! I played all morning haha :D Didnt know about the original nonogram, thank you for introducing me! :)

I needed some time to understand how this works but overall that was a cool game!

To be fair, it took me a while to figure out what I was doing — not having a clear tutorial was a bit frustrating. But once the rules clicked, I gotta say the design is genuinely clever. Simple, effective, and really fun. The level design makes it obvious the author has played a lot of sudoku. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best ones. Thanks for the thoughtful design!

Wasn't really able to figure out what I was doing, but the game looks cool in the screenshots. I'll probably give this another go later.

Snipaste_2026-04-22_01-01-21.png @lemma The key thing is: left-click places a gray square, and right-click places an X (which doesn't actually do anything mechanically — it's just a marker for yourself). The "2-1" label means you need two gray squares, then a gap (any number of empty spaces), then one gray square, reading left to right — just like the first row in the image. When a row/column matches its label, it turns green. You just need to get all of them green. That's it!

Looks and feels awesome. It was fun to play. Mirror twist works great and challanges the brain. I do not normally solve nonograms. It was a nice challange.
As the others said a short tutorial for nonogram-noobs would have been nice. Other than that, it could be an nice game for on the go.
Great variation of nonogram, nice design and well-thought-out convenient controls. Would play more :)

Tried the game again, found it really fun. There were a lot of neat puzzles.

It's my negligence. My usual player audiences is people with some experience in puzzles.
I added some introductions on the page, and added some helpful links:
Nonogram: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonogram
Rules: https://puzz.link/rules.html?nonogram
Can you believe I never played a nonogram? But I managed the first level and in the end was impressed by the amount of levels you made. Also the ray gimmick fits well with the game in general and theme.

@mikan Aaaah, that's cool more people can play now! I learned the rules but it's still cool you added this!

Really clever innovation on the this kind of puzzle! I couldn't stop until I completed all the levels. I didn't understand the laser mechanic at first, but eventually got that lightbulb moment. The reflect back was really interesting to figure out. Well done!
Clear.

Neat and fun, good game.
Polished entry! I'd like to have some kind of help/tutorial explaining the rules of the game (had to google it). Puzzles are well made - made my brain to steam a little bit ;) Good job!

Wow, a simple but very effective idea to extend Nonogram! Had a lot of fun with this, I think my favorite level is 1-4, because I had to solve it with a lot of small deductions. The only thing I found a bit unintuitive at first was that the vertical mirror does not reflect vertically (makes sense, but I somehow expected the opposite) Also maybe some way to take notes where the mirror can be would have been nice, but you did a great job in puzzle design so that there were only a small number of possibilities that you are able to memorize (and also I dont know how to add nice controls for that). Fantastic job on the last level: Great final with two mirrors, having a nice path to solve and additionally producing a heart shape!

I always liked nonogram as a kid and this had a cool twist on it. I played it on my phone and it worked really well. Except the X's but they aren't needed to play anyway. Also I would have liked the previous levels to save until I actually rest them when I go to the next level. But compared to the great polish and mechanics those are just minor things. Really great Entry!

Love the original idea of adding mirrors in nano game. Also love your graphics and sound effect. Good job!
As someone with a penchant for both the PICO-8/TIC-80 family of fantasy consoles and nonograms (even though I absolutely suck at them), this really hit the spot for me! Probably the submission I've spent the longest time playing so far 😅
Was finally able to beat all levels (spoiler):

Good to-the-point gameplay. The mirrors were a fun addition. They broke my brain at first, but eventually I got the hang of them. I'm very impressed, both by your TIC-80 implementation and by the levels you've created 👏

This is a neat twist on the nonogram idea. I only got up to level 7 before giving up but i had fun nonetheless.

A nice variation on Nonograms. I liked the idea of having an unknown number of cells to fill.
I played a lot of nonogram as a kid, so I absolutely loved the twist on it!
And the last level is so cute <3

Absolute masterpiece. You can really tell there's a lot of experience with puzzles behind this. Easily my favorite of the jam so far. Hard to believe this is your first paper puzzle.

Really like it. I can't imagine how many levels you could make by adding more and more mirrors!
I'm not sure why, but for some reason I assumed you couldn't fill in a square that the mirror was currently in. Once that clicked, I was able to start figuring it out :)
I love nonograms, so I was excited to see this game pop up on itch. I do agree with some other feedback that a small amount of tutorialization about the mirror would be helpful since it is a completely new wrinkle in a very established puzzle style.
But otherwise, lovely and a lot of fun. Nice work!
First TIC-80 game I play ! A solid puzzle proposition, maybe a little too difficult for me, remembers me of mario picross but i think Nonogram is the origin of those concepts ? Btw a very nice game, GJ !
I love nonogram puzzles, and the twists you added here are AWESOME! I’ve played soooooooooooooo many nonogram games, but I’ve never seen anything that really messed with the way the hints were given, or things like the mirrors.
If you continue working on this, and I really hope you do, I’m sure you’ll add some introductory levels that explain the basics (as many people may not know them). But as a seasoned nanogrammer, this was terrific!

Thought it would be easy at first. Got completely stuck on level 2-3
Really nice puzzle game, I felt the level's difficulty was just right with how new elements were introduced. I hadn't seen there be '?' clues in a game like this before which were interesting. I did like the extra element the different mirrors gave to the puzzles and the last level where you combine both were great. I feel like the limitations of the TIC-80 added character to this what with the chunky resolution and colour palette, very nice. Only thing I would want to add would be for levels to save what you put in them when you navigate to another, oh and more levels of course :D

Love the graphics and polished look! I also really like how you added additional mechanics like the question marks and mirrors to make the rules more interesting for later levels.
An interesting puzzle — I really liked the mirror mechanic.

Great ideas added in this puzzle game from the base concept
