Fun game with a "happy" end. Couldn't find the screwdriver at first, bacause i bumped it to the ceiling during my jumping in low gravity. 10/10 would explode again ;)

Intro is awesome. THere are many variablen, that need to be tracked. My ship broke down many times. Next time, try to give better feedback to the player. I.e. you could show energy levels directly on the model or build an nicer interface way of doing that (progress bar?). Text isn't always easy to read.
Overall a cool game. Keep it up!
i like the idea and the style, sets in a good mood. the negative effect when two creatures which don't like each other meet might be too low though, i could just run from one door to another and open it - i still gained more and more money
Really nice design. Puzzles were exactly the right difficulty for me. I knew always what i was doing. Very creative take on the theme.

Is this homer simpsons voice? Ok game. I woult kick the 3rd dimention. That way the player could better guess if he can hit the enemy. Controls could be a snapier.
In Games like this player feedback is key. Next time try to implement some of it. I.e the player/enemy avatar could flash when hit.

This splitting mechanic is making me crazy. Awesome idea, nicely executed. A bit frustrating, when you don't want to split again, but the red spot spawns directly in front of you.

@doomshmuck Thanks. Yeah, healthbar is a problem. Your health is the size of yor char. Plus, if you shoot, you loose health. Need to better visualize this, i think.
@kambing Thank you for the nice feedback. Regarding your second positive point: There is. Shortly after the outside stage there is a hole, one can only enter when small to get another present. Unfortunately you got stuck and didn't get that far.
As for the improvement points: 1 and 2 are known. But time constrains... and 3 is definitely a bug.

@gebowunjo THe thought behind the dificulty is that we only have one level, so it shouldn't be too easy to get to the end.
@boyturnedrobot Thanks. There is no way to get life back. It's only one level and you need to sacrifice something ;) Later there is a hole you could only enter when small and all the enemies (except for two) can be avoided using clever jumping, so you don't have to shoot them all.
Daaaamn. This game is awesome. I love the music, love the efects! It's a little hectic, but thats cool with me. If a have to write a negative thing so you can improve. It's the camera movement. It's not easy to see what you should pick up. Overall a great game.
I like the idea of downgrading you hero, so the game is easy at the beginning and hard at the end. Cool concept. One thing with your controls is, that you player char walks as if he were on ice. Thats often frustrating for the player. Next time make it snappier. Awesone to do the dungeons in any order, so the player can set their own goals. I liked it
Your controls are too soapy. Next time try to implement a snappier control of player. Also, my laptop could't handle "s", "d" and "e" at the same time. One thing to keep in mind when designing control schemes. But i don't know if i could do this in 48h. So, good job.
I like your grafics and a liked you self made sound. Game is a bit slow. I get thats the theme with harvesting games, but still. The texts in between every night were cool and as i ran out of food a nice squirel gave me somethig. Thats cool. A little more to do would be nice.

Very nice Idea. You Game would be way more playable if your Camera didnt lag behind the player, but instead show whats in front of it, line in super mario world. I often ran into spikes because of this, whitch leads to frustrations. I like that you could jump on the enemies, so you can extend the jump. Thats a important mechanic, when every jump costs energy.

It's difficult at the beginning. There is basically only one strategy to follow, like you said yourself. So a small balancing issue there. But a nice game overall.
Aside from bugs, why is the shoting so delayed? It's a little frustrating. Animations are cool.

@jk5000 Thank you very much. The idea behind the gun was to lightly push enemies out of the way (maybe it's too light) so the player doesn't just shoot it's way to the finish, but gets a little help with these pesky blue fish swarms.
@tambosi Thenk you too for your comment. Regarding the two bugs: First one is kind of a feature, like the shortcut in Mario. Only way to beat the level with all upgrades bought ;) We didn't have the time to completely balance the levels around a slow and a fast player (with rotor upgrade), so we gave him the possibility to "cheat". The gun still shooting after death was just funny so we left it in...
Awesome Game. I had really fun playing it. Graphics are nice. Controls aren't that hard. Perfect entry. If i had to say something negative, it's the camera perspective. It's not the best choice for a fast, precise game like this. I.e. i missed so many boxes because i judged the position falsely.
Damn, your Game is hard but funny as hell. It's really hard T press D, when you need to hammer F (and i'm a guitarist, so my fingers should be trained for this, lol), Maybe you could reposition the keys to be better reachable. There seems to be a bug with the time. It does not reset after death.
end Game Music is very sad. Graphics are very nice and sound design is on point. I too got overrun by enemies without a chance. I just couldn't press the buttons fast enough. Progression could be a little more player friendly, but a very cool entry none the less.

The other commenters said most of it. I Liked your game. Sometimes it was hast to guess what hits you and what doesn't and whats a plattform. (But thats alwys a problem) Text Speed was slow. Oldschool jump/run mechanics are nicely implemented and artstyle is cool.
Nice one. We had a similar mechanic in our game (health is tme and is used for upgrades). I must say, your implementation is clearer and makes more sense. I like you game. Played like 32 runs and was completely overpowered.
Nice little Game. Graphics are cool. First I lived -20 Years and then like 80 and didn't do anything. I feel like there is a balancing issue, but hey, it's LD. Everybody has balancing issues. Concept is cool.

@dps2004 The song, that sounds similar to "Take on Me" was created by us (Stefan). The end song is just a loop of a part of the original song. So i think we are save here ;)
We added a how to play.
@dps2004 I don't want to argue with you here. Sure, we used the structure and melody from "Take on Me" and a 20 second loop from "Shooting Stars" where i added some wah wah effect, but we do not make money with this game and i think fair use should apply here.
We also added a music section to the description, so nobody gets fooled into thinking we wrote these songs in 72 hours.
@jake-white We left audio in, because we remade the game song and made all the sounds. Also we modify the song on the fly during gameplay. That were the reasons behind opting in. We can't opt out anymore so: If you are not ok with the sound, just do not vote in that category.

Fist, i didn't understand why i am dying. Then i understood, but couldn't make some of the harder movements. Then i read the comments. I woiuld have liked a litte feedback for the player to show what is happening with the circle. Maybe a spinning effect or something.

Nice Entry. I liked the fishing game and the chat messages were funny. I find the repetative music fits your game quite nicely. Best entry to play in bed while waiting for sleep ;)
@sibi Thank you. The reason for the unstable movement is drunkenness. You can drink Coffee to make control more responsive. We chose the "action" keys based on the words. "k" for "kick", "p" for "pöbeln"(german word for riot while drunk, yeah, we have something like this) and "o" for drinking (it is easy to press, when your fingers already are on k and p, and ones mouth makes an "O" when drinking, hehe).
@bamberga Thank You. There is no way to reduce the police meter. You are right, we should not force a player to lose, what is basically health, during gameplay without a way to replenish it. I think this one is ok, because the game is not that long. Sorry for that.
Sometimes there is no way around a bad thing when you're drunk XD
Funny concept. Sometimes i could not grab the banana, but for the most part it worked great. I made it through all the levels (some only with luck and a fast mouse). It could have been clearer at the beginning, that fallen boxes lead to a game over and that I need to drag the banana. Graphics and Music are nice also. Overall a good entry.
Really frustrating game. Awesome addition to the theme and it fits perfectly. Made it until lvl 5, than ragequit. Maybe i'll try it again sometime.

One addition could be to press the spacebar to respawn. Ofthentimes i was still holding direction on restart witch made me fall off the ball. It wouldn't be as frustrating.
Thank you for your feedback. @jcmonkey, @ani My idea was to have an optimal place for each of the plants. Unfortunately time for balancing these variables was short and i opted for the in/out approach. I also wanted to add watering but that would have been even harder to balance XD

@crishnate Thanks, bumping one another is intended, rotation too. I parented the Ui to the plant so it rotates with it. Looks weird sometimes but it's not gamebreaking. You are right, that the gameplay becomes repetative. My initial idea was to have a "optimal" spot for every plant and water them too. I even thought about pests that can spread to some plants and not to others, so you would need to make "fences" with plants. But that's compo...
Expolding Chickens. I will buy a new PC to play even further. I will kill ALL the chickens!!! Awesome game. Really fun and a very cool idea using the fps in a fps as the inevitable mechanic. Congrats for the entry!
Loved the music and style. The game reminds me of old flash games that just wanted to trick the player. More branches and endings would be nice.

Interesting game and a unique concept. First try i didn't understand the gameplay, second try a made it until day 6. I think the game is a litte too randomized. I get that thoughts are sometimes random when one is in such a situation. From a gameplay perspective it feels kind of unfair to get like 10 negatives in a row and basically just wait and don't play. BUT The atmosphere is awesome and i really felt like being in a small pod struggling to breathe. Nice game with some small flaws.

tHIS gAME IS sOoOoOooooOOOoo EFFING GOOD. Flawless execution. I hab really really REALLY fun. Graphics are cool, specials fun to use and you nailed the theme with the slowly breaking keyboard. If i had to find a negative, it would be the lack of strategy or structure. All enemies come at random. Maybe some predefined lines would be cool, so the player would have to mash a single keyline or something like a boss enemy. BUT THAT JUST ME, MAYBE SOMETIMES IT IS JUST BETTER TO MASH THE S88T OUT OF MY BOARD AND DANCE TO THE CLICKYCICLACK OF MY BLUE SWITCHES:111
Cool, sweet, small game. I had fun playing it. Ship movement is smooth and everything is nicely animated. My brain somehow kept going into another control scheme. I think i played to much asteroids with the left and right buttons to rotate. I played using wasd, maybe controller would have been different... Ether way, a really smooth and good looking game.
I think thats an orange with a grapefruit insides ;) Game is fun. It's sometimes hard to tell your orange apart from the others. Also the controls could be more responsive.
Overall a nice entry and i had fun playing it.
I really like the music. I made a rithm game before and know how hard it is to time everything just right on the beat. Kudos to you. Really good implementation. I had fun hitting evenyting on the beat and found myself grooving to the music. It was a good idea to split the song into meaningful parts and switch the mechanics up, so the game won't get boring. All in all a very cool entry. I had fun.
Awesome Game! Really polished! The bos coming down the stairs was really anxiety inducing. I played with a controller and handling was really good. My strategy was rotate the blower and run left to right. Worked really well. I do not think the cutscene needs to be skippable. Its like 30secs at most. I think 30 seconds are not to much to ask to see this funny scene. Window sound was too loud though.

Really awesome game. Love the music, love the graphics and mechanics. The robot is adorable. I have no idea how you managed to mage this huge map and all during 48 hours. Respect! One gripe i have with the game: Jumping when the window scrolls up is disorienting and some deaths feel unfair because of this. (I now learned that you can switch the camera with 1, why not make this camera the default?)

Very nice looking game. I liked the tilt-shift efect. It gives the impression of a small world with wacky physics and veery shaky camera. IMO a little too shaky. One thing though: The car ist turning the wrong way while going backwards. You need to inverse the car rotation while driving backwards. A plus for awesome car handling: Zero out the perpendicular vector of the driving dir. That way it dies not slide around like a boat. Other than that a good entry for the theme.
Cool game. Had fun playing it. Could freeze the water indefinately, so it was easy after a while. I like that the map is different every time (i sense some perlin noise maybe?). Adds a nice challenge. I am working on a hex based game in my free time. It is not easy creating and rendering them in the correct positions XD. A cool end game mechanic could be "recovering" sunken land for a huge price in stone or prayers, so it is worth it to play longer. All in all a really good Game. I can see it an my phone someday with an endless mode ;)
I think there is somethin wrong with your game. As Plixel said: Sword ist very laggy, Enemies do not hit you etc. also the player can run indefinetly to the left. Positives: Game art is really good and the music fits the style. I think the game could be fun, if you fix it.
Really fun, beatiful game. It reminds me so bad of the wario ware games, but cuter. I love the clapping sound. It's really satisfying to beat a game. I honestly can't tell what could be improved in this game. Maybe the main music track could be longer, so it does not repeat that often.
Really cute and polished game. I liked the rain mechanic and that you can break the stones. Gives you a little something to strategize. Also, i like that you can continue playing after the fire is out. So the end is chill and not a Game Over screen in your face. Really good submission to the compo.

A really nice game. Graphics look really well made and are somewhat funny. I too had some problems with aiming. Sometime i wanted to get a specific tower but couldn't. Maybe it would have been better to make thtm on a rotation instead of random. I have a widescreen monitor and the game is fullscreen. It looked kind of weird and the ui was way in the corner. Need to watch out for that. Just turn on the resolution selector in unity.
Story is good. Button needs a satisfying press sound, maybe a cherry mx blue style. Other than that a solid entry. I didn't encountered any bugs, so far. Still pressing the button on my second monitor ;)
Driving is awesome. I realy dig the explosion sound with all that bass. My neighbour doesn't ;) It feels great to hit another car with a rocket and i had some cool situations in this game. Really fun. The music fits too.
Now the bad stuff ;) If you let the game run in fullscreen, please think about the people with ultrawide screens. Text and images in the intro sequence were all over the place. It is better to schow the resolution selector with 16:9 resolutions, so one can play the game windowed. I find it funny how you placed all the tracks with all the holes in it. It adds the true LD-Feeling:tm: to the game. Thank you for the experience. It was awesome.
Beautiful, sweet and funny game. I liked the controls and animations. BEcause of the perspective it was sometimes hart to hit the right spot for the items. This resulted in some babies flying through the room. I'm not complaning XD More levels would habe been nice. Had to play the second one multiple times ;) Intro was awesome.
Looks really nice. So many plants. It is a litte fun game. At first i didn't understand the moove mechanic. SOmehow there is no indicator wich plant i have selected to move. So sometimer it didn't move the right plant. But i had fun and that it what counts. Sounds and music also fit the game.
Cool concept of a meta game. Somehow it reminds me of undertale. Maybe cause of the different gernres bit for enemy killing. I played until the end and had fun. Woud have liked to put all my points into humor at first but i understand that you can't make all the combinations. THere were some glitches and little bugs but nothing gamebraking. Really good entry.
I thik the graphics are really nice.
I think the other people said enough about the bugs and hitbox problems. Other than that, you released your development build. If you uncheck the checkbox in the build window, unity can optimize some stuff. Also your game starts in FUllscreen, so people using an ultrawide monitor (like me) can't click all the options in the settings. i had some weird visibility glitches, where the 16:9 edges stopped.
You idea is cool though and the kill animation is awesome.
A nice Game. I really like the fight mechanic and that you color coded the arrows. This way it was way easier to distinguish them. Good job on it. Is faster running a global event?
Awesome idea. Thought i could collect fruits at first. I was wrong. There wese some errors, like hitting already destroyed enemies but it was not gamebraking.
One thing i would make different: Sometimes i got the same malfunktion 3 times in a row. This kind of randomness doesn't feel random and fair. There ist a story from Apple about the first iPod shuffle being truly random, so it sometimes played songs twice and they had to change it, because it didn't feel random. Make sure to choose only a modification if it isn't already applied. Or better: Make a list with all modifications and remove the picked one. When the list is empty fill it again. That way you have more control over the modifications in the game. You could choose to use only a subset in the first level and add more after the player progressed a little.
Nevertheless congrats on completing the game.
@algo-baker if you do not feel like grinding to the end, you can pause and come back later. We save your progress in user prefs, so you can continue where you left of ;)
Nice game. Like the others already said, it is too hard to know where thieferinos are coming from and what box will be attacked next. The player is just too slow to be at all the places at once. Especialy in the third lvl. I must say i exploited a bug to even get to the third lvl: When you start collecting apples and then move away from the tree, you get instant 50 apples.
Besides some flawes, it is a really good entry for a compo. Funny audio and nice animations. Plus, graphics are very good. Keep it up
A litte creepy, but very fun experience. THe little text bits were fun to read with the alternate font and all. I couldn't read the first line, because the game is fullscreen only and i have a widescreen monitor, so the first line was not vidsible. Driving mechanics are cool and i loved the mood of this game. Keep it up
Wow, crazy game. Really deep for a compo game. I'm impressed. Awesome effects, and it gets really hard once the action levels start. It would have been nice to know how mutch points each ball gives. Overall a great game. Keep it up

Some of you ( @momo-hunter @bea @gametrodon @apple-dash @beefnbrocoli @nick-baggett @spiritwiz @twobitadder @obittner ) critisized the slow soul movement. I made soul speed an upgrade now. Also there is an upgrade for the collection radius.
I also added a android version, if you want to deliver some sould on the go. Can be found on itch.

Nice game. I like the graphics and sound effects. Gameplaywise its solid. Didn't understand theat you can scroll the view to get to the kids further out. There was no indication that i can drag&drop the screen. Sometimes a new kid spawned in front of another kid and deflected my perfectly aimed shot, that was a bit frustrating.
But overall a really polished entry and i had fun playing it.
I like the mood very mutch. Looking forward to the full release.

Very nice idea. I enjoyed playing with the rendering distance and objects. Had some problems using my widescreen monitor. Wondowed mode would have been great. Also jumping is kind of finniky. I died often because it didn't register my buttonpress.
Other than that a cool game with nice graphics and a awesome idea!
Awesome concept. Kind of like being blind would feel like (i think). The different ripple colors were a good idea to add a little orientations. Its kind of hard to grasp depth and theis helps. I think, you could expand on this concept a bit further. Maybe different shapes, more coloers. Make it psychadellic! Would be awesome.

We focused on a single mechanic and tried to make it as satisfying as possibleâand I think we pulled it off!
As for adding more content: we considered introducing "enemies" or upgrades like bombs to add variety, but we just didn't have the time. I really liked @irwattsâs suggestion about adding some dialogue from the person getting cleanedâmaybe some suppressed memories or something. That could be a lot of fun.
@wisch I actually tried adding the pieces to the minimap, but with the way the game is set up, it just wasnât feasible (unless youâre okay with 2 FPS :cry: ). We ran into performance issuesâturns out Godot doesnât love adding 7500 nodes of microplastics to the tree at once :smile:

@stephenwhoskins @geckoo1337 Good memory! Yeah, we were kind of inspired by Innerspace (âDie Reise ins Ichâ in German, lol). We also tried to match the post-processing to that floating-in-tissue look from some of the scenes.

Nice survivors clone. Upgrades feel nice and the pase is good. Next time try to polish the main mechanic (shooting and movement) to be the most satifying thing. Maybe add particles or other cool effects. Without this the game feels a little flat.
Overall i enjojed my time with it but it could be better.
Awesome addition. I love the atmosphere and suspense. For me the controls are a little clunky. I get the point of stopping for shoting, like in resident evil, i would have used different keys. Jumping mechanic is ok, but kind of does not add to the game. It's a good idea to restart the level like you do, so the waiting time is very short.
Overall, it's one of the most polished games i played this LD and i liked it.
Cool idea. I hat trouble finding the correct stars at first. I needed to understand that the smaller stars also count. Maybe add a small tutrial for the first level in wich you mark the target stars.
I played it for a very long time and had fun. The game feels oveall very polished and a loe the interconnected map. I got a little stuck before a got the last two heads, but was motivated to continue. I would like to see a minimap for better navigation. As it stands it's easy to get lost.
Controls are really tight. This is important for a game like this. I had fun playing it.
Adding the elements incrementally was a very good idea as well. But then adding all at once was a little overwhelming. Maybe it could be better to combine to or three at first.

Nice game. I like the choicec you need to make and that you lose life if your energy is out. I thought at first, that the game would end. As other have said, combat lacks a litte strategy. Maybe let us chose, if we want to attack or defend or something. Also, I found the popup text to be a litte small.

Cool idea. Like others already said, its a little on the unforgiving side. Also I didnt understand the bars at first. The tentacles always got me and i didn"t know why.
I think there is mutch room or improvement, but the idea is solid. I can see a mobile version with swipe controls be really fun.
Awesome twist on a classic game. I love that you included the centrifugal force that pushes the little ship away. Also a cool idea to make the levels harder on the second part of the game. I had fun playing and was motivated to play more.
Only thing worthy of improvement ist sound. A music trak would be nice and the "alarm" sound i a little too repetative.

Good shooter. A little creepy. I have seen the long one and got scared. Mechanics are solid. Movement could be a little faser and collisions a little tighter but i had fun. Feels a little like an N64 game with all this fog XD
A really nice takeon a MC like game. I coudn't play it properly on my laptop, so i will try it on my main rig, when i'm home. The visual style and audio design are really good and fit perfectly. Voxel destroing is fun and satisfing. I liked digging deeper and finding upgrades, even, if i was getting only 10fps. Props on using unreal.
WTF did I just play? What a weird experience. I kind of liked it. Thats the stuff i play LD Games for. Honestly i find it hard to critique unique stuff laiek this. Maybe the TTS was a little too loud and the speed of animations a little too slow but maybe it all fits, i don"t know.

Counting starts on 0 XD I liked the idea. Random movements of the enemies was a little bit chaotic so you can't "cheat" them but it's enough for a LD entry. I had fun playing.
Interesting game. Itâs like a âuniverse sandbox lite.â It feels satisfying to route the packages and find a sweet spot to hit the target exactly. However, there are a few issues with the gameplay:
All levels need to be beatable using only the starter towers, because if you donât clear the first wave, you wonât get another tower. This feels frustrating.
Once you make it through the first wave, youâve basically already won the level. The other upgrades arenât necessary. You can just place yellow towers directly in front of the target and strengthen the connection.
I think these problems are fixable. For example, you could start with larger payloads that behave differently, forcing players to rethink and rebuild their optimal solutions.
Thats a really chill game, until you have multiple ships doing donuts because a big one needs to unload ;) I liked the music and slow pace of it all and that you can root the ships around until you have a place to dock. Really a flawless execution. Nice one
Cool idea. Digging feels a litte slow but adds to the suspense. I would have liked to have some kind of an indicator to find a good starting point. If you start in the wrong corner or walk in the wrong way, you basically lost initially.
I like that you left all your controls on the keyboard, so no fast mouse klicking needed. Only buttonsmashing.
Damn, there is a lot in there. The combinations get very complex and i liked it. With this much content, you just cannot balance it well but that's the point in incremental games, right? Make numbers go reeeeaaaly big and i want to feel like i broke the game. Awesome execution on this part ;)
I was kind of sad, that you can not click anymore after the initial part until you get to the constuction stuff. I like klicking in this games ;) But the rest made up for it.
Overall a good entry and incremental game. Give it some polish and you can release it.
Really chill game. I like that the earth rotates and you lose the tracking, like in reallife with a telescope or something. The addition of tetris was a nice toutch also. I was playing it and saw the first satellite in the background and the started playing the "real" game. Awesome experience. Thanks

Looks and feels awesome. It was fun to play. Mirror twist works great and challanges the brain. I do not normally solve nonograms. It was a nice challange.
As the others said a short tutorial for nonogram-noobs would have been nice. Other than that, it could be an nice game for on the go.
Very immersive and cute. I had fun playing. Cool idea to use loudness, but it was somewhat hard to get the direction from where the sound was comming. Maybe, if you included spatial audio it would be easier. Sometimes the sound overlapped so mutch, that I couldn't make anything out. Espetially in lvl 7, where you start next to two loud noises.
But as i said, it was fun and a fun mechanic you could build on. Thanks for the experience.
Very chill and really nice execution of the idea. Some constilations were challanging to get in one line. I liked that. Only thing: I wanted to directly start over but needed to first start another constilation. An abort button would be nice.

Animations and sound are well done. Also the gameplay ist a nice idea. A little bug (pun intended) here and there is acceptible. I think, if the spiders would mainly attack your companions, it would be more unique of a mechanic. Here it is relatively easy to get very far, because the spiders are easy to defeat before they even get to your companions.
I had a good time while playing and that is the main point ;)

Very relaxing game. It looks nice, feels good to play and you need to think. After some time i didn't even need the books. I had fun playing.
Cool concept. I needed a little time to understand but in the end i wanted more levels! Give me this game on mobile, so i can annoy people on the bus ;) Graphics are nice and fit. There should be another way to placing the mirrors, brcause the clicking was annoying after a while and i always clicked one to many times. Overall a really good game.
Loved the atmosphere and the animations. Fairly long level and not too easy. I like that You can set your own pace and play it rather save or storm out to try to make it to the next hideout. What i don't like is loosing all my acorns on death... Good entry, i had fun.
