LD39 — Running out of Power

Slowbot by LeviDSmith 2017-08-09T18:40:59Z

The game was rather challenging, but it gets a bit repetitive after completing a few levels.

Superbman by coomzy 2017-08-06T17:19:58Z

Very neat visuals but quite a bit too hard for me to really get into the way the character moved. It is easy to lose any sense of direction, and restarting from the beginning also tends to get a bit frustrating.

Blasphemy! by FelixMcFelix 2017-08-07T19:15:57Z

A very fine game with really neat graphics, audio and with a great sense of humor for when you die (happens a lot).

Mech Power Zero by deluxturtle 2017-08-09T14:45:41Z

I like the graphics, but the game is rather quiet, and a brief instruction at the start would have been helpful.

The Last Miner by bluellama 2017-08-13T20:36:32Z

I love this game. One thing that I find a bit difficult though is finding where points are.

Spacy adventure by egordorichev 2017-08-06T18:09:50Z

A very lovely game that runs well in the browser. The graphics are absolutely stunning! The only downside is that fullscreen mode seems to lag a bit.

Apprentice by ThiefViolinist 2017-08-06T16:32:08Z

Sadly very hard to control since the camera angles often make one or both characters hidden.

Sabotage by image_31 2017-08-09T14:23:34Z

The game is very nice, but it would have been good to have a more satisfying end than just being greeted by a small text message.

Flying Aces - Going the distance! by jotson 2017-08-09T19:20:07Z

Nothing beats the feeling you get when you make a loop to pick up fuel. Visually, the game is stunning. The only thing I would want is a soundtrack that could deafen the engines a bit. I would easily play a mobile version of this game for hours.

Putential Outbreak by Pixelcode 2017-08-06T16:38:47Z

Very nice, but the UI was rather small for me, and it took some time to figure out what to do.

Plug Me by hav24 2017-08-09T20:22:33Z

Thank you for this game. It is excellent - frustrating - yet amazing.

Space Is Dark by Peter Jonsson 2017-08-10T05:56:23Z

Thank you for your feedback. It is much appreciated.

I can expand a bit on the difficulty thing; it is a modifier that determines how often enemies and asteroids will spawn. This is capped at 10, but even at the cap, the value may be above 10, still resulting in a difficulty of 10. When enemies do spawn, this modifier is lowered to allow for some time to tackle the enemies that are already there. It makes sense to have a cap, and I found 10 to be a pretty solid maximum previously. Otherwise, enemies will spawn everywhere all the time once you progress a bit further. The current system means that the actual difficulty will be increasing with time, but the number might still seem rather small - this is due to spawned enemies present in the ship.

Display settings and support for full screen can be found in the settings menu at the start of the game. Full screen is recommended as it is easy to click outside the game window without it.

Drain by morphine 2017-08-09T15:22:58Z

This game is excellent. The audio fidelity is unmatched among any previously played game in this Ludum Dare for me.

POW by ProdigalSon 2017-08-09T19:02:13Z

An excellent game. Well designed and balanced in difficulty. Keep up the great work!

Dotger by bazoo 2017-08-07T19:41:05Z

I really like the graphics, but I feel that the game would be vastly improved were it to have a few audio cues or music running in the background. Consider adding some inertia to the controls and particle tails to make it feel more slick.

Simple Lunar Lander Esque Game by OboShape 2017-08-07T19:29:44Z

The game looks promising, but would not run well for me. The ship crashed on takeoff, giving you no gameplay. I seem to be the only one here experiencing that though. Well done with your first Ludum Dare!

The Path of Wonder by Enot487 2017-08-09T21:03:55Z

A great game for some casual fun. One thing to explore would be to add more potions (speed maybe?).

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Beer O' Clock by krammetje 2017-12-18T15:44:13Z

The game is really challenging, and the audio is really suitable.

Tangram Technologies by Baby Dino Herd 2017-12-18T08:23:41Z

A very nice game with neat music.

My Little Corruption by Peter Jonsson 2017-12-05T12:23:18Z

I can remove that text. It's the standard thing that Itch.io does. @jespersb.

My Little Corruption by Peter Jonsson 2017-12-21T13:44:59Z

I used [Abundant Music](https://pernyblom.github.io/abundant-music/index.html) for composing. It is mostly randomized, but I did a lot of manual parameter setting just in order to make it right.

Quantum's Rick by cortexdeveloper 2017-12-06T20:00:31Z

I love the idea. Well executed!

Goodnight Sheep by littlecloudflower 2017-12-18T08:26:13Z

I really like this concept. The music is great and the visuals make for a complete package. Well done!

Ice Cream Island by spaceturtle 2017-12-05T18:22:37Z

A very beautiful game. Perhaps, the floor is a bit too slippery for my taste though.

LD46 — Keep it alive

Autoexec by reheated 2020-04-23T15:45:21Z

I really like the sound and music! Well done! :)

Keep the Streak Alive by tompudding 2020-04-21T18:33:15Z

An amazing idea that is well executed. Great job!

Keep the light alive by MaximBegunov 2020-04-21T18:10:16Z

The game is neat, but I managed to push things out of my reach and felt a bit confused afterwards. Perhaps the movement could be grid-based to make it a bit easier to control.

Comboboy by Peter Jonsson 2020-04-21T18:38:32Z

The energy is per round of planning. Every executed plan (a total of three moves) must result in some energy being collected.

Comboboy by Peter Jonsson 2020-04-23T19:19:35Z

@shaolin-dave, yes, this was made in Game Maker Studio 2. I tried exporting it as HTML5 as it is supported by Game Maker, but the export seems to be broken. I might, however, give it another go.

Comboboy by Peter Jonsson 2020-04-24T16:52:48Z

@holysparks, I think that you may have experienced a bug. It *should* always shoot in four directions when finishing the last move. I will investigate this.

VAMP by gwinnell 2020-04-21T18:27:41Z

Super smooth and juicy. Well done!

One Day Outside by romgerman 2020-04-21T17:57:56Z

A neat game with a compelling narrative. Some of the buttons were scaled weirdly on my 4k monitor, but it did not cause any issues. Well done!

CODENAME: SPROUT by Keppu 2020-05-04T09:40:23Z

Awesome game. Well done!

Forest Guardian by JakobTheQuizGuy 2020-04-21T18:15:27Z

I absolutely loved the visual aesthetic. The game was, however, too hard in my opinion and I was only able to survive for 2-3 rounds.

Ice Light by ThornDuck 2020-04-21T18:59:46Z

Stellar visuals, soothing tones and a clever idea. Well done!

to Leave by 5imon 2020-04-21T18:04:08Z

The visuals are stunning, but I could not figure out what to do other than jump around and listen to the tones.

Nemysis by Crispy Chicken 2020-04-21T18:41:59Z

Very appealing aesthetic.

Prince of Al Harrah by dmarku 2020-04-22T19:29:37Z

Excellent audio and neat visuals. The first levels were a bit too easy, but the later ones were really enjoyable.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

LichLoop by Abregado 2020-10-05T19:40:56Z

This game is a well-executed implementation of an amazing concept. It took some time for me to get used to the mechanics, but I enjoyed every second of it. Very well done!

Loopyman by Peter Jonsson 2020-10-04T21:38:47Z

@muhuk, all levels are possible to complete, but you may skip a level with the `N` key on your keyboard at any time.

Most levels have multiple solutions and there is always something that is a lot less complex than what is expected.

I've Been Busy Being Dead by instrex 2020-10-12T19:39:02Z

A very neat game with a lot of polish. Well done!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Deeper and Deeper by minibobbo 2021-04-26T18:42:45Z

A very polished game with a clear aesthetic, neat visuals and audio. I experienced some tearing when moving around, but it was not a real issue. I would love to play a further developed version of this game with more levels and challenges. Well done!

Deep Fucking Value by 420blazeit 2021-04-27T20:20:39Z

Simplistic and enjoyable every second on the way to a lifelong financial crisis. Thank you for bringing this game to life!

Deep Dive by Lossypi 2021-04-26T19:43:37Z

Very nice aesthetic and nifty control scheme. The game is enjoyable. I would love to see this expanded and made available as a mobile game.

CRASH Pit by E.E-Wick 2021-04-27T20:10:13Z

I love the fast-paced action, but I think that there is a delay between clicking the mouse and bullets being fired. This might be intentional, but I would love some visual queue that my click was registered. I found myself spamming the left mouse button while trying to avoid everything else - hectic but fun!

Whatever It takes by BurnerReborn 2021-04-27T20:05:57Z

The game is a too difficult to easily be picked up, but the concept is very interesting. Perhaps different colors could be used to visually distinguish the different layers a bit more in order to make it easier.

Sleep Walls by drom1x 2021-04-26T18:49:59Z

The eight-way controls and their visual representation were a first for me, and it is extremely enjoyable. The audio is suitable and the graphical style matches very wall!

LD49 — Unstable

Saturday Night Cleaver by bramreth 2021-10-11T16:49:21Z

Very nice art style. The audio is great. I love the song.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Tiny Tanks by Peter Jonsson 2022-10-03T16:32:01Z

The game can now be exported using Godot 4.0 beta 2. A download link has been added.

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Rightful by jirrev 2022-10-04T20:26:19Z

Nice game. It feels smooth and plays well.

Sheeple by Jonathan Holm 2022-10-03T18:15:07Z

A lovely game with charming graphics and a nice mood.

Fire 'n' Snail by neowhoru 2022-10-05T19:05:35Z

Nice and charming game with pretty graphics and a good soundtrack. Well done!

Hellish Descent by Peter Jonsson 2022-10-10T18:18:18Z

@cameron-borthwick, the enemies actually shoot at you as well when you are close to them and in their LoS. I agree that they don't to that nearly enough. Sadly, I spent a lot of time working on a flying enemy, but I could not get it to collide correctly with the game world. Thus, I had to scrap the idea, leading to a much easier game.

Nachoverflow by Xwilarg 2022-10-05T19:01:04Z

It was a bit tough to figure things out. At first, I tried to drag things around. I got the hang of it after a few minutes and found the game to be very enjoyable.

Smack Demon by Firebelley 2022-10-03T18:23:01Z

A smooth game with neat graphics and a catch soundtrack. Very well done!

The CyberZapper by Vhalenn 2022-10-03T20:17:10Z

Wow, this game is stunning and really enjoyable. Well done!

Super Auto Crusaders by Savolae 2022-10-06T19:31:16Z

Very nice game. I loved the battles. The upgrade screen could have been made skippable.

Flip and Swap by WeAreDev 2022-10-04T21:22:26Z

This game is a nice adaptation of the theme. I really enjoyed it and its neat graphics.

Lavalette by Fribolin 2022-10-03T18:34:50Z

This game is brilliant! It fits the theme well, whilst providing an reasonable challenge and amazing visuals. I found it very enjoyable to see a small world emerge.

It's balling time by Linus Szokody 2022-10-03T18:30:24Z

A neat game with a cool mechanic. I do, however, find the game a bit too challenging and sometimes unfair due to it beeing unpredictable. This could perhaps be tweaked a bit and balanced by telegraphing the next ball variation in advance.

The Little Bot That Could by Xenoparticle 2022-10-03T18:21:06Z

A very nice first submission. The controls are intuitive and the core loop is sound. I would, however, like an additional challenge with enemies and other risk/reward tradeoffs.

LD52 — Harvest

Jerry and the Sunlight by jeremyfa 2023-01-18T18:53:52Z

The concept is great. I would love to see a full game using this idea.

Void Walkers by Pope PAF 2023-01-17T22:47:46Z

I love the graphics and the audio. The concept is nice and the game is entertaining. Well done!

Drillydown by Peter Jonsson 2023-01-08T21:58:19Z

Thanks for the feedback @john-gabriel! What browser are you using, and what happens when you open the web version? The web build works in my installation of Vivaldi (Chromium-based) and in Microsoft Edge.

Reap What You Sow by Hare Software 2023-01-15T22:38:11Z

I absolutely love this game! The graphics, audio, and gameplay are all amazing. Very well done, crafting such a nice game.

Rapid Produce Dating Simulator by Shredmer 2023-01-10T19:41:15Z

Wow, that was a lot of fun. I love the concept, the art, the audio, and the humor in it. A very fine game indeed!

Hedgehog Tree by Alexascher 2023-01-10T19:57:24Z

This is one of the most relaxing games that I have played in quite some time. I loved the aesthetics and the music was fenomenal. Well done!

H. (A Harvest Puzzler) by ditam 2023-01-13T17:17:28Z

I love the idea that the rules are to be discovered by the player. It adds a special challenge.

Automation is the Future of Farming by maxflav 2023-01-08T22:06:21Z

Very neat game. I love the automation and its somewhat open nature in puzzle games. The mechanics are presented in a very suitable manner. Well done!

Demon Pact: Soul Harvest by Arscene 2023-01-08T22:28:01Z

I had a lot of fun with the dash, and it felt very satisfying. Well done!

Billiard Hero by thyoi 2023-01-13T17:32:42Z

The visuals are really satisfying. I absolutely love the vibe. Well done!

Glean the Luminescent by jcg 2023-01-08T22:32:03Z

It was a bit hard to grasp the mechanics. On the first day I just stood still before realizing on the second day that the small circles were to be collected. The visuals are amazing.

"Neighborly Love" by seltzerfish 2023-01-10T19:44:17Z

I love the gameplay. Everything was pretty and sounded well.

Garden of Eldritch Delights by autumnmnmn 2023-01-17T22:37:10Z

This game is very pretty. I love the aesthetics and the general vibe. Well done!

LD54 — Limited Space

Tiny Tour by Bugord 2023-10-03T21:28:37Z

This game is absolutely lovely. The controls seem to freeze in the "destroy"-mode sometimes, but this issue can be resolved by tapping the right mouse button once. Well done with this masterpiece!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Rock, Paper, Scissors & Knuckles by Fylipp 2018-04-24T09:08:07Z

I agree with @Nehvis, but the core concept seems nice.

GOLDFISH SIMULATOR - DÉJÀ VU by Kiddoo 2018-04-25T10:07:47Z

Really nice game. I like the concept, but I too, am perplexed about how I kept losing the game.

Quick Down by Hugimugi7 2018-04-24T14:04:12Z

Really nice game, but it is a bit too difficult. Even the first two waves are hard.

Perfect Run? by Peter Jonsson 2018-04-27T06:54:10Z

@Animaster, the game is a turn-based platformer, but do you mean that each time step is too slow? I really appreciate the feedback.

Blocks'n'Blaster by StrangerYann 2018-05-07T19:57:07Z

I can't find any links either. The section seems to be empty.

Honest Dan's Trout by Honest Dan 2018-04-24T14:12:20Z

Wow, that was really something new. Very fresh and related to the theme. Well done!

Honest Dan's Trout by Honest Dan 2018-04-24T14:12:20Z

It can be a bit challenging. Perhaps there could be a difficulty setting.

FPSville by Lyrcaxis 2018-04-25T10:04:31Z

This is a pretty cool game, but I find it a bit too quiet without any sounds, or music.

Wheels On Feels by mambojambo 2018-05-07T20:01:38Z

I really like the "slidey" controls. It could be cool to experiment with a few different surfaces with distinct characteristics like friction.

Card Race (Pixel Edition) -- Card Game by Coding-Ape 2018-04-24T09:03:57Z

The game is very pretty in the .pdf format. Sadly, some of the yellow color doesn't translate all too wall to paper in my laser printer. Perhaps an inkjet/photo printer would be better?

Rock The Road by Bintex 2018-04-24T14:07:58Z

I used the web build. Everything seems smooth, but it was a bit hard to understand that you drop rocks with [SPACE], and that you use these to defend.
