I can see how this fits the theme, the dot is running out of power.
Waiting for the finished version :)
Very good game. I loved graphics and mood. Consider makenig controls a bit smoother in the final game.
Very nice game! I especially love the simplicity of both the visuals and the gameplay. I got a score of 304 :)
Quite nice to play, runs pretty fast and works well. A bit simple though.
Amazing simple and effective gameplay. I really enjoyed it. I think this could be very fun to play it on a touch screen
I really like the graphics, but I feel that the game would be vastly improved were it to have a few audio cues or music running in the background. Consider adding some inertia to the controls and particle tails to make it feel more slick.
@ everyone, thanks for your feedback!
@mr-houdini @jolix It's playable!
@kabalatrance I'll look into that. I kinda lika how it plays right now, tho I'm sure it's just because I got used to them.
@wwwhizz That was the idea, to make it simple enough so I can make it on 3 days (actually took me almost the whole week) and do it with a new language/framework to push me to learn new things.
@bombjack Due to engine limitations, can't make it to work on phones. Maybe in the future? We'll see.
@peter-jonsson Yeah, I know, right? It's just that I have no idea how to make proper sounds and music. I added both, but still they feel like they don't belong to the game. :C
Played this game in HTML5 and it's really addictive and challenging. The progression was kinda slow, but I enjoyed the game a lot. Staying in the middle of the screen would make me stay the game longer before the circle will die :D
The circle in the center doesn't feel that hypnotic, or it pumps harsh (since the difficulty is based with the music). I've felt the change of BPM in the music, I liked how the visual and mood elevated with it as well. I've downloaded the windows version so I can play again later. (posted a score below this comment) Great game :D ldscreenie.png
It's a fine game. I feel like it is really missing a sense of progression. The game feels the same all the way through. Some powerups, different obstacles and other small concepts that changed over time could really help improve the game. Otherwise, it feels kinda plain. One last thing, the music loop was waaaay too short and obvious. If you ever want to make a loop that short, make triple sure that nobody will notice. Overall, nice game, hope to see you next Ludum Dare.
