LD38 — A Small World

A Small World by akai_0okami 2017-05-01T18:11:34Z

Too bad you run out of time, the concept is great and I very much like the interpretation of the theme.

Tooth decay by Ithildin 2017-05-01T13:18:55Z

It took me a little while until I noticed I could drill to the left and right as well. That made it a little easier to get to candies on the sides

I really like the challenge in this game.

Space Migrator by jackyjjc 2017-05-01T12:49:30Z

OH NO! Massive collapse at ~3600 points in endless mode. New habitat destroyed - check!

Nice little game, I like those tower stacking ones anyways. As others have pointed out already, I would've preferred, if the camera was zoomed out a tiny bit more from the beginning so that you can see where the next pod is coming from earlier.

Superbugs by Breadmower 2017-05-02T11:22:00Z

Hello microbe puzzle game maker buddy

Very nice game you made there. The mechanics are easy and the color mixing is very intuitive, including the part with the overdose. The audio fits perfectly. Very well done!

I saw the first level always starts a bit different. Is this purely procedural or did you design all levels beforehands?

Don't microbe me by gabis_wasabis 2017-05-01T17:15:03Z

Neat game! I also like the audio, somewhat threatening, which fits the game perfectly I think. I somehow managed to get caught by those upcoming veins 3 times in a row, the pills dropping from above seem harmless compared to them!

A small in-game instruction would've been nice, other than that: very likable.

Also, I naturally like the interpretation of the theme as I did a microbe game as well and not too many others thought about that it seems.

Barely There by benbennett 2017-05-01T13:02:35Z

This reminded me a bit about my formerly favorite flash game "Copter", in which you controlled a heli through a cave just like you control the bee in this game. I kinda disliked the uncontrollable rising after collecting nectar, it often made me hit a bird. The music was awesome :ok_hand:

I really wanted to sting this freaking thing at the end! ARRR!

Defend the Earth by Scrumplesplunge 2017-05-01T17:47:50Z

OK, I'm really bad at this game UNTIL the earth explodes in millions of pieces. I think I pretty much got slung away by the earth and reached escape velocity as I tried to chase down the incoming aliens. OK, guys, take earth, but you're mine!

Unfortunately once earth is gone, those aliens are not very interested in the player's ship after earth has been destroyed. They more or less hang out where they spawn and only shoot if you approach them. Zoom out and shoot long distance: you gonna win.

Technically, however, very well done. Controls are good, graphics are good, shooting your way through the enemy's bullets is good, sounds are good. I've lost earth, but I played until wave 17 or so.

Well done

Symbios by drestuff 2017-05-01T18:00:21Z

Lovely game! The gameplay is somewhat easy once you figure out the best strategy (see wtoa's comment), but the graphics and music are playing together very well. Overall probably one of the best games I've played so far in this LD.

Ironically, in our game you need to bring microbes together. It's a small, crazy world!

LD39 — Running out of Power

Neutron Escape by HitchH1k3r 2017-08-07T10:44:56Z

Basically a nice game! I had some trouble finding the tutorial in the first run (I just instinctively pressed right without looking too too much and directly fell into the first pit), but once I restarted I looked out for it. What really bothered me was the charged jumping mechanics, for me it was way too unintuitive and hard to use.

Nevertheless, I like your interpretation of the theme. Well done!

Space Rover by wdebowicz 2017-08-05T16:27:36Z

Although this game is very simplistic, I had quite some fun racing over that planet. I wish the landscape would've been a little easier to explore (some hills are pretty steep!), the atmosphere, however, was great. Finally, I managed to fall from the surface.

Mars Mystery by wolar 2017-08-05T16:58:59Z

Very nice game! Although the controls are weird, I actually liked them a lot: driving a rover is different from the usual car after all. I found the rover's engine sound a little bit annoying, but that's pretty much everything. Liked the little tutorial very much.

How I Met Your Great Great Grandmother by PeachTreeOath 2017-08-05T22:07:57Z

Amazing game, each aspect of it play together nicely with the other ones. Only negative thing I found was that I often had to look twice which of those figures was me after focusing on an other aspect of my life, but that's nit-picking really.

It's also fascinating to organize such a huge team in such short time. Good job!

Turn the Lights Off! by obidubi 2017-08-05T16:43:16Z

Cool little game! Enjoyed the gameplay and simple yet effective art very much. Like said several times already I would've wished for some feedback to know where to go next. Also some progression would fit the game nicely (e.g. start with 1 or 2 crew members and magically more appear as time goes by?).

Powerless Professor by DeathStorm 2017-08-05T22:36:35Z

A city builder rarely gets to my mind when jamming, but you did it and I think it went pretty good. What I disliked most was me not being able to tell how building a house affected the happiness, so I ended up needing twice as many resources for my entertainment district while only making half the progress towards collecting them (which in my case was very very low). This was rather frustrating.

Apart from that, I think the game is solid. Oh, one thing: I could build a house on the lab in the centre.

Asteroid Runner by Nordtraveller 2017-08-05T17:06:59Z

Neat little game with nice graphics! I felt I should've gotten a more obvious feedback when I get damaged by an asteroid (some rumbling sound perhaps?). I was pretty surprised when I suddenly exploded into 1000 pieces :D

Inhouse Baristas by Marin0104 2017-08-07T11:06:08Z

Solid game, although heavily inspired by Overcooked as some of the other commenters already said. The controls are a little wonky and the game is pretty unforgiving when doing mistakes (e.g. you don't seem to be able to fill a cup if it's not in front of a customer). Coop was pretty nice.

Dotger by bazoo 2017-08-07T10:33:09Z

Very nice game! I especially love the simplicity of both the visuals and the gameplay. I got a score of 304 :)

Space Rescue. My first Jam game by Joskineide 2017-08-05T22:16:49Z

Good game for sure! I found the jetpack a bit too powerful (going almost over the whole screen with just a tiny amount of boost), but once I had the knack of it, it was a nice experience. Good job! :)

LD54 — Limited Space

Train Jam by dat198 2023-10-05T07:20:57Z

I'm a simple man. I see train, I click like^^

On a serious note: it's a good little game, which fits the theme perfectly. Yes, the passenger movement is a bit wonky which makes it quite hard, but I'd see this as part of the challenge.

Well done on your first finished game, keep it up!
