A neat game with a cool mechanic. I do, however, find the game a bit too challenging and sometimes unfair due to it beeing unpredictable. This could perhaps be tweaked a bit and balanced by telegraphing the next ball variation in advance.
I am absolutely in love with that old console style graphics.
Nice take on arkanoid, having the powerups constantly changing makes it fun even when you're just waiting for the ball bouncing around. The glowing and heavy chromatic aberration made it hard to look at for too long, though.

I really like the way how u have reinvented a classic game with modern flavour. really enjoyed it. Cheers :)

Fun game and neat concept and with a little work could be really awesome!
I think the gravity powerup should be removed, it's really just a waste of time as it can't bounce high enough to hit the blocks. And the pass through powerup is so satisfying, but I only ever got it near the end of a run, I think there should be a weighting to getting it earlier in the run.
Overall nice take on breakout!
very clean and fun execution of an old classic!
Great remix of arcanoid.
chromatic aberration made the visibility of the bar a bit difficult, i losed some balls because of it. however it was a funny experience , and I liked the changes of state of the ball :)

It's a nice concept for jam, this idea works very well and I love the retro vibe you gave with the chromatic aberration on the screen.

The graphism is really nice, and the gameplay is cool I really like the change between balls ! The only things I would have to say are that the music is kinda repetitive, the fast ball is reaaaally hard to catch sometimes and the piercing one is very OP. But except those three, that's some very nice work !

Wow! I love the artstyle!.
Really cool game! Easy to understand and the behaviours of the ball are interesting! Good job!
Neat take on Arkanoid. The random modifiers all felt great although I wish gravity had just a little less gravity so it could still go higher. I think adding a very small window of slow motion when the modifier changes would give the player time to react especially when it changes to the fast version.
I always like a good take an Breakout, and I had a laugh when the gravity mode kicked in. Nice presentation and graphics too.
It's neat! I like the look and have played many of these types of games before. The gravity was weird for me, as it didn't add much, as well after gravity went the ball was travelling sideways for the rest of the time not hitting anything until gravity came around again. Had similar issues with hexagon. I would say that I miss the mechanic of moving with the ball to start and setting your starting point. Good job overall!
I think this is a pretty interesting concept and has potential to be tweaked and expanded. I quite liked the idea of throwing in different-shaped "balls", like with the hexagon, and while the gravity mode was indeed frustrating at times, I think I liked having to adapt how I predicted where the ball would go on the fly.
The most frustrating moments, I noticed, stemmed from when current modes interacted with previous modes. For instance, I got the ball caught going straight up and down on the edge, until I reset, twice. Additionally, I once had gravity activate, and right when it switched to the next mode, it was accelerating at a very, very slight upward angle—meaning that it was bouncing between the walls, away from the paddle, gaining altitude very slowly. It took 4 cycles (so about 40 seconds) before it drifted to my final brick. :sob: I know this can technically happen with the other modes, but since the gravity mode often ends with such small bounces, I imagine it happens more often.
With some tinkering (perhaps more tinkering than a 72hr jam would allow, to be fair), perhaps you could find ways to polish these out with programmatic solutions (i.e, perhaps during gravity mode, give the paddle a bit of a trampoline effect, to give it just a little upward-oomph); I also would be interested in seeing more shapes, like a triangle, maybe? Though that might be pure chaos!
I also appreciated the offer of extra lives, that is super kind and I love it when jams include forgiving stuff like that. Overall, nice concept, and kudos for the completing with a solo team! Always super impressive. Cheers!
Hey great job polishing this to such a complete state in such a short time! Taking the classic pong and putting the theme's twist on it felt really exciting! One small feedback on teh visuals is for the "hit twice" block change visual to the "hit once" blocks so you know it needs one more hit, so its clearer what happened! But great job pulling this together! I like the name too!
Nice game with a simple yet really effective idea! I really like the gravity mode and the passthrough one! Adding some screen shakes and particles on block destruction could add even more juice! Congrats for completing this jam solo!

A neat application of the theme!
