Stuck at lvl 7.

peter-jonsson 2020-10-04 21:38

@muhuk, all levels are possible to complete, but you may skip a level with the `N` key on your keyboard at any time.

Most levels have multiple solutions and there is always something that is a lot less complex than what is expected.

muhuk 2020-10-05 07:42

Right, I noticed the solution to some (previous) levels are simpler than I initially thought. Very nice game.

OMG this game is soooo good. The mechanics have enough depth and the levels are so well designed. Even though I haven't finished the game yet, I'm completely in love with it!

abrds 2020-10-05 12:56

Well done, this is a refreshing take on the theme!

zakamana 2020-10-05 13:07

Effective puzzle game! You can see there are a lot of creative ways to solve levels :) great entry

wheybags 2020-10-05 22:26

Mechanics were really nice, the puzzles were good. Sound and graphics were really nice too. I liked the loop to level 1 :D

I would add an ability to move your placements without starting from scratch (click and drag?). I would also allow the player to "try a simulation" without forming a full loop, so they can test timing, and not clear the solution after a test. That would speed up the iteration process, which can be a little tedious sometimes when you just want to adjust one thing at the end of the cycle, and you have to re-enter the whole thing again.

A very creative puzzle game. Though it is not very straightforward to judge in advance whether a spike can be avoided, it is also fun to have a process of trial and error.

kpedatte 2020-10-07 10:36

Minimalist but very clever. I think with more levels, you can release this game, it's neat !

lamonfly 2020-10-07 19:56

Completed all levels it was really nice and well made. Would love to see some sort of indicator on spikes so I didn't have to brute force trial and error.

nakst 2020-10-08 17:28

It'd be great if there was some sort of award of getting a solution below par. Otherwise you have to pad out your solution to the required number of steps.

✔️ I really like the main mechanic of this game. It is really used to create some challenging yet rewarding puzzles.

✔️ The minimalist art style fits the game very nicely.

✔️ The music is also pleasant to listen to.

➖ Trying to time things with the spikes could sometimes be annoying.

Neat little game with a main mechanic I haven't seen before. Graphics are simple but effective.

I don't really understand the spikes - it seems impossible to anticipate what the timing is going to be on them. I either avoided them completely or only got through based on luck.

Overall, nice work.

kantieno 2020-10-11 17:21

I really enjoyed this entry! It has really nice polish, it plays well, and there are a good number of levels! The spikes were a little difficult to work with and their hitboxes sometimes seemed a little off, but overall I really liked it!

wabble 2020-10-11 20:09

Trying to sync the movement with the spike son lvl 7 is hard!

Apart from that, simple and fun game! with some graphic adjustments it would probably be lauchanble for mobile

fenderbate 2020-10-12 15:48

A game well made! The option to skip a level is a really nice touch!

kroltan 2020-10-17 22:37

That is an excellent game! Very well crafted and polished.

I do agree with the idea of being able to move nodes and restart without clearing the board, it would speed up iteration time a bunch without having to change the actual game rules.

The minimal graphics did not feel "programmer-art"-ish, very cohesive! And the music is very cute and fitting.

kohcepba 2020-10-17 23:08

I want more levels. And there are some little interface problems - delay after pressing R is too long, placed dots are deleted after death or restart, better allow player to move them by grabbing.
