What a fantastic entry, I love this approach to the theme, I've been recommending this to my fellow developers. A+
Art is great, I had some trouble spotting the doors to go left/right, so a door frame of some kind would have helped a ton! Nice and simple though, and some good action at times. Good job!
Woah, nice idea, we're on the same page! Cute game, I would love the tiny "platforms" in the tree level to be able to be jumped on Screenshot 2022-04-04 081245.png. Great job!
Great simple game, with a good ramp up in difficulty!
Great art, great gameplay, love the mini games. Would love a little more "randomness" just to avoid back-to-back of the same minigames, as im sure there are more than I've seen!
There are some tough spots in the levels, such as the lava pit with the falling spikes, but only because those spikes did not reset when respawning. Also the windy bridge was difficult to content with. Music and visuals were great, just would love to see some more gun-jump mechanic training opportunities, as the dash is well used!
Cool idea, and execution!
Things were easy to see and understand, nice
Great job on the visuals!
Wow awesome, great work using your own engine
Nice, fun and simple!
Wow game was well done!
This is fantastic, great job
Great visuals!
Art is great!
Would love to see a press and hold mechanic for mining! Cool idea
I actually really enjoyed this, sense of discovery was fun. Good job!
Great job! The speed ramp up may happen a little too quick, the responsiveness of the controls makes it difficult to react in time for the platform that appear.
Cool concept!
Game looks great! I began to get a little fatigue from continuously pressing the key, and would love a 'Press & hold' option!
This was great, was able to quickly pickup what to do!
This is honestly one of the better games that I've played for the jam. It took me a moment to understand what control I had over the character, but I was in the flow once I understood. My two main complaints would be with how slowly the levels scale/change, where moving forward one level didn't change enough for it to feel like a whole new level. The other point would be towards the end/wave complete effect, it felt jarring when everything else moved so smoothly. Great job
Great game, turns out there can be no villains if there are no aliens left!
I like the approach to the idea! being able to course correct would make things perfect, but I definitely understand the reasoning!
Well done, this is a refreshing take on the theme!
The visuals and audio were wonderful. Great stuff
I would've loved to have seen it with the same esthetic as the Exorcist, darkness, fog, as the music already sets that mood! I was pleasantly surprised, good job!
Art and narrative are great! The pacing at the start was a little slow, and would have loved to have heard some more sound effects for the drones, and the environment. Great job!
This a cute and simple game, great job with the mechanic. I would've loved to have seen cats come places I had not expected (Ie from the ceiling)
The look of the game is great, i would've loved the option to use keyboard controls instead of only mouse, as throwing my mouse around the the screen for feed became repetitive, and I felt that i was unable to keep up, though that may just be a representation of my skill level. An interesting concept, it was great to see the tamagotchi style in a voxel format.
This is a grea game, I was able to figure out the strategy i needed to push far into the enemies. The building mechanic is great, and I would definitely play a game like this as a standalone title. This has a lot of potential, and i hope that you follow through with this.
Pretty great overall, i found that i was confused when first starting, as i didn't know how to control the character. Once i figured it out that, it was easy to control, but would have loved some feedback to know in what order i was selecting the cards.
Not bad overall, i feel that without a constraint Spawnhood was missing some depth, though a nice take on the pet care game!
This is probably one of the best games i've had the pleasure of playing from the Jam, the character were wonderful, the level had a great atmosphere, and the humour was great. I think the combat could be improved a bit, but honestly, wonderful work.
I like the simple mechanics, though i would have loved to have seen some more depth. I was able to to easily understand and master the controls which is great, though once i was in the flow of the game, i began to miss the novelty, as the static obstacles were easy to master. Good work overall!
I like the idea that you were looking to do. I found that the effects made the image a little over saturated. I would've loved to have seen some path finding on the creatures, as the giraffe would become stuck on fences occaisionally. I really think this was a nice way of tackling the theme.
I agree with Nikor, the wonky character is great, and improves the experience a ton!
Interesting concept, I found it difficult to understand when I was doing well, as well as the roles of the AI within the game. The effects that you've added are great though, and I'd love to see your idea more fleshed out!
I like your idea, building the intensity was nice, and i was able to quickly understand what i needed to do for each task. It became difficult to manage all of the controls, though that may have to do more with my skill than the gameplay.

I was skeptical at first, but I couldn't stop playing once I got in the game. Honestly lots of fun, would love for there to be some sounds. Great work.

The in-browser window was a little large, forcing me to scroll to see elements of the gameplay. I also found that the first puzzle was confusing _(I may have skipped some important dialog)_. I like the story though, and how you implemented the theme! Good work!

Interesting take on the theme. I did find myself spamming WASD at mouse locations near the end. I would have loved for the corpses to stay somewhat persistent _(Faded)_ in the background, as a show of the **carnage**

Great entry, art & visuals are fantastic, and the mechanics are simple to understand. Would recommend

Quite an ambitious game, I understand the time dedication required to create this in such a short time. Interesting gameplay :)

I thought of taking a similar approach to the theme! Glad someone else explored it!

This is super impressive, the platforming reminds me of Earthworm Jim. When fighting the ant, the wait time to obtain the whip was tough if I missed the jump. Love the art though, amazing stuff.

Overall pretty good, I appreciate the character customization _(However, looping options would be great to include)_. Once I understood the mechanic, it was pretty fun. I think I was a little confused by the ending, as I wasn't sure if I had won or lost!

Took me a minute to get a hang of the parry and the menu navigation, but it was a piece of cake after! Failing the arrow input appeared to be too forgiving _(resetting the timer)_

Incredible art, a few were confusing to get the guide was helpful! I think the candle tripped me up as I didn't see the second on placed down.

Including the dimming of the lanes is a life saver from a UX perspective, I appreciate its inclusion. Fun battler/balatro combo game, great work

The game always felt responsive, and appreciate the art style of using clay _(Or what appears like it)_. I agree with an undo or restart button within the game, that would make things a little more forgiving in the later challenges.
