cool little narrative experience

Really short but nice experience.

Player is summoned for some reason is a good idea.

The dialogue text is cute as well

I have been summoned to comment on this game, so here I am!

I liked the meta story, it was nice. I refused to help and got a game over on my first try :) I don't have a lot to say about this one, it was a nice little story and it worked as such. Good entry!

- Some of the dialogue was hard to understand, but I got the point being somewhat accustomed. - I liked the story, it was a nice idea and I liked the art - It felt a little too zoomed, and the color of the text box was the same as the floor and sometimes the entire space which made it a bit hard to distinguish what is what.

Great graphics for the wizard, very nice. The dialogue was nice too.

pleasant general vibe from the art to the keyboard clacking

ben-albert 2024-04-16 14:12

Love the meta story, keyboard audio was satisfying

whismirk 2024-04-16 14:13

Cute little narrative experience with fun mini-games ! Got the good ending.

As was asked, I feel compelled to comment and give you courage !

megh-menghani 2024-04-16 14:16

dialogues were good

epb9000 2024-04-16 14:17

@frogman Glad I'm not the only contrarian that got a game over on the first try.

That was extremely nifty use of the theme.

I struggled a little with the golf section as I couldn't get a good feel for how the power bar actually mapped to launch velocity. So I did what any normal person would do: brute forced it until something worked!

look-for-happiness 2024-04-16 14:20

Good story, it's a bit humorous and meta!

abrds 2024-04-16 14:26

The in-browser window was a little large, forcing me to scroll to see elements of the gameplay. I also found that the first puzzle was confusing _(I may have skipped some important dialog)_. I like the story though, and how you implemented the theme! Good work!

kevinkoc12 2024-04-16 15:51

I really liked the minigames and it's fun, congratulations!

jver422 2024-04-16 19:40

cute, I really like these meta narrative type games

coderaurus 2024-04-16 20:01

Nice little story, I love the sound effect. I feel the window resolution was set too high, it was hard to see the whole screen at once.

Good job.

piero-pbes-studio 2024-04-16 21:19

bravo for the work accomplished, it's not easy to integrate several gameplays within a single game, especially in the context of a game jam. And what's more, it's funny.

kirass 2024-04-16 22:55

I like this game! You guys are great!

olddog 2024-04-17 09:06

this game conception is genies and awsome!!! the ending truly suprise me a lot,and the love between mage and the green ball is touching ,wish to have more content of this game to play

dekisenpaitm 2024-04-20 16:03

10/10 would fall in love with the green ball again 🥲

zombiewalrus 2024-04-20 16:07

Cool game, loved meta ending!

custodi 2024-04-20 16:09

Nice little game with simple plot. Idea of metaplot is pretty cool.

aivaxela 2024-04-20 16:09

very cool game, definitely different than the norm which was nice to see.

enreh 2024-04-20 16:22

Really cool use of the theme. Some more feedback with visual/sound effects would have been nice, as well as some form of texture (even if really simple) on the floor, so we could understand the movement better.

alpacalypse 2024-04-20 16:36

I promised to comment and I am a gamer of my word. The wizard sprite is cute.

aweskybear 2024-04-20 16:38

Wait, what?? XD This was much better than expected! I love the *reflective* nature of the game!!! I like how you have a companion... and you are a dumb circle. The humor actually is kind of.. brilliant and unexpected! Especially that with the keyboard and the mouse.

Overall - amazing job! The only feedback I could have is a minor technical one - that the screen is too large - but that didn't stop me from completing the game. :)
