but it's great...are you going to write a little about how you came up with this idea and how you made it happen? Frankly the best appropriation of the theme so far for me;

but it's great...are you going to write a little about how you came up with this idea and how you made it happen? Frankly the best appropriation of the theme so far for me;
congratulations for having succeeded in making a skoboban with the theme of invocation, the game is very clever and we want to go to the end to discover all the levels that have been concocted. I always attach more importance to the content than to the container but here there is a little lack of container to be truly satisfied by the experience. the gameplay is solid and clever, well done for that.
yeah like the other people I am amazed and curious about the universe, the mechanics and the richness of it all. it's very impressive.
A real pleasure to find the dungeons of Zelda 1 even if it is to do mathematics. The concept is nice, we should keep digging to see what it can give in any case there is a very original idea
the designs of the boats are super cool, I really like what it gives off in terms of atmosphere. It might be cool to also have the game board drawn by hand as well. For the gameplay, in my opinion there should be a little more clues for the player to understand the different possibilities available to him and what he must do.
a pretty good puzzle game which makes you feel smart when you succeed and that's really the thing about good puzzle games. And the achievement is mind-blowing...well done
the idea is good and the graphic design is cool, on the other hand the mouse keyboard handling is already not really my thing and here I find that it's a little stiff between the ball which already has a particular behavior, plus the enemies , plus the water all around... it's a bit steep. Maybe to get used to the physics and handling a bit we could start somewhere a little safer. It makes you want to dig.
completely my kind of game: arcade, quickly understandable, in 2D with great pixel art and a slightly stupid situation (who wants to move and cause the end of the world? you have to choose). I loved it thank you very much.
everything I like in a game jam game, short, original with a clear and effective gameplay proposal... it's a great little point click right in the theme and everything is super polished... well done
yes for once the theme is super well respected and interpreted but what I note is great feedback for each action of the player, everything is super satisfying and it's a pleasure. Not to spoil anything, the summoning mechanic is interesting to explore and we get caught up in the game. well done
the mouth sounds and hand graphics are cool and give the game a real touch. But I also had trouble understanding what I had to do and why. Sorry for the village.
I would like to know how to make such beautiful games on pico 8, all the little animations, the visual effects, the little flames, the lights, the precision of the movements and collisions. The UI is beautiful and gives the information you need. The general feedback for the player is great and above all innovative and super interesting gameplay as usual... too strong
yo it's a good idea to invoke things to help you, it reminds me shoot one up from mommy's best games... to continue digging
graphically it's so good, the fact of having drawn everything by hand gives an inimitable tone. The intro is perfect for that. The interpretation of the theme is cool and the whole thing is pretty well done. I think it's a shame to shoot sheep...poor little guys.
I like the difference between the cover illustration and the design of the game...it's surprising me
so smart and so good...i like your pixel art! love it! congrats
Very nice puzzle game which gradually unfolds its mechanics, becoming more complex from level to level. I also like the simple but effective and charming pixel art.
a good idea that puts the brain in knots
not at all my type of game, but it's damn impressive everything that's on offer over 3 days... well done to the whole team, the pixel art is lovely, the atmosphere is great... my regret is is that the game is not played entirely with the mouse.
zut I caused the apocalypse! Very nice idle game... like the others people I find that the music and sounds are really good... everything is rather funny. On the other hand when I played in full screen, the texts were tiny and it was difficult to understand the game. So i let the game in a tiny window and zoomed my screen manually and it was more comfortable. Thanks also to the cultists who don't need to be clicked on to provide materials.
well done for creating this game for the ludum dare, we can clearly see the work put in to achieve this result. I managed to collect enough dollars I'm saved, thanks to my precious skateboard.
excellent gameplay idea, I love the atmosphere of the game, the pixel art is simple and effective as well as the music. good game
what a very weird little platform game, completely my kind of game... the atmosphere is fascinating and we are surprised throughout the adventure. The minimalist graphics add to the overall look. I only want to play the sequel. Well done. and also the difficulty is well balanced, the checkpoints are really well placed along the stage.
yeah pico 8 lovers, a really good interpretation of the theme, really original... besides the whole game is very original, a little too twisted for me but I recognize the work and the uniqueness
from a pico 8 lover, i love the art very gothic and all the little ideas around memory (levels, trio, life...) are nice and the game is polished and clean...well done
wow everything is great in this game, the concept around the theme, the gameplay has one button, the animations are excellent, it's funny, the level design is great and inventive, even the music is great... my only problem These are the levels that require you to click quickly on one or the other, it took me a bit out of the universe otherwise thank you for this game, clearly one of my favorites
It's really very daring to do this kind of game during a jam just for that, well done. I admit that I didn't really understand what was happening on the screen; the fact that there was no feedback on what we were doing made the whole thing a little obscure. The pixel art is charming and we want to discover the different monsters and the cards. Great work.
the atmosphere is very nice and I like the originality of the graphics. But the sokobans.... my poor head
it's a charming little game where it's a real pleasure to summon demons who seem to be really nice. In any case, the whole thing is super clean and it makes you want to see more.
whaou extra cool puzzle game, really well polished with elegant graphics and music, well done
it's a cool tower defense with the good feeling of overpowering when you have managed to place your defenses well. The pixel art is very charming and gives the whole game a warm and very friendly feel. Good game.
yeah another pico 8 lover!!! the collision with platforms is a bit weird but it's cool to see a game with a beginning, an end and a good gameplay loop. The music is very cool and the whole thing is encouraging, I can't wait to see what happens next.
the graphic style is very original and gives a particular tone to the game...unfortunately I had difficulty understanding what I had to do to democratize the universe
Like your art and all the retro stuff. It would be cool if there was feedback when you click on pieces or when you press the button to start the ritual.
great little typing game, not pretentious and super well polished. The graphics are super cool and the music is really cool too. My only problem is that when I put it on a large screen, the game remains in a small window and as I have poor eyesight it spoils the experience a little but otherwise it's super nice.
great little point n click with a nice interpretation of the theme. The atmosphere is very gentle, the graphics warm, a real pleasure.
The production is quite cool with a very marked aesthetic that I personally like, the music and sounds are cool... I appreciate the feedback on each action of the player. My regret is having to play with the keyboard and mouse. I find that it complicates the handling, I would have preferred it to be completely controller/keyboard or just with the mouse. I find that it's not easy to travel and also have to manage everything else but hey, that's just my way of seeing it.
yeah i save the kingdom, it would be cool if we had clues to choose the right potions rather than chance
I like picking up zombies like mushrooms
the idea is good and the execution is neat but I need to be more hands-on to enjoy the game.
@ugly-robot yeah I would need more feedback when I draw the symbol and more information on the symbol itself. But I can also understand that it is a choice on your part to let the player experiment and have fun understanding the symbols to draw.
not my type of game (oops sorry) but the graphics and the game world are really cool and make you want to know more and dive into the game.
I like when the character looks up when jumping as well as the beholder who swings a big laser but the enemies are too naughty I wouldn't leave the cave
I'm very sorry because it looks cool, the little sounds, the graphics, but I understood absolutely nothing... I'm not likely to go and defend democracy
whaouuu after the bear and the salmons, this is the most incredibly stupid game I've tried on the jam and I love it. Bravo because the graphic design is bold and very disgusting but the game responds well... the remake of Sonic's music is perfect... I'm curious to play other games that you have made
yeah that's right it's a piano
good interpretation of bust a move. a big congratulations for the super cute graphics and especially the kickass music!!
bravo for the work accomplished, it's not easy to integrate several gameplays within a single game, especially in the context of a game jam. And what's more, it's funny.
i lost at the last level too, it was cool to combine the different skulls and a special mention for the graphics! good job.
typically the kind of game I like: arcade and brutal. The interpretation of the theme is great and the whole game is very well polished. The pixel art works wonderfully and a special mention for the music and the sound environment. excellent !
beautiful little one searches and finds well done for so little time, I appreciate the research to vary the way of playing as we progress
what a strange atmosphere present in the game...the minimalist graphics and the impression of immensity and helplessness...but I have difficulty understanding what I could do to preserve the earth
I find it a shame that the cover illustration does not reflect the graphic atmosphere of the title, because the 2D is very cool. It's not my type of game at all, I don't understand why we move with WASD rather than with the mouse? Afterwards everything works quite well.
doing well for a game jam, and the game idea is cool and worth exploring. What is your best score?
everything is cool, art, animation and music but i'm sorry if i'm dumb but I can't do the wall jump and therefore go beyond the bottom of the screen, it's frustrating because it looks cool... it reminds me of the wall jump in super metroid.... too bad for Me
the idea is nice and the art too, but it could be more progressive in the difficulty or a kind of a first level with only one type of attack... but hey pixel art hamburgers are cools
skeleton are the best
a smart game by a smart guy... and well polished with some cools demons
thanks for all your comments ! and yeah @adam-gould I'm definitely going to do that for the release on Lexaloffle BBS
@roughskin oups.... not so easy to brainstorm when you're alone... thanks for your comment
@asatrain thanks for your comment, you wish you could predict the movements of the flies?
@ugly-robot thanks too, i'll try to make it juicy and fun, I'm happy if that's the case
@impalpable really scary .... urg les papillons de nuit
@kirass you're great too, thanks a lot
@sozey thank you so much
@allclair @josang1567 mmh thanks it could be more progressive to better understand the character, I note it
@dzejpi for the post jam version that I published on lexaloffle I added an arrow that appears all the time to indicate where the book is. And for the invincibility zone it is already the case the flies cannot come to the place where we appear but it is true that nothing indicates this.
@ein thank you thank you
@tesseus lol that's right thank you
@martonel thank you you're nice too
@jezzamon yeah so annoying, you don't have other choice to take a book and throw it through the room, true story
@loveapplegames thanks for your comment but i'm really sorry i can't put jump on the up key It's against my religion
@animawish oh thanks we're legion (pico 8 lovers)
@silkworm-sweatshop oups...caught red-handed... thx for your comment
@jacobingalls I always wonder if there is enough? so I always add more...thanks for the comment
@alec thx i want it to be crunchy ! yeah you're right for the book i think i'm gonna make it.
@sirjupitron it's an honor sir and thank you very much
@lisek-gagatek @zliebowitz thanks you very much for your comments, i made a post jam version with all these littles suggestions.
https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=141758
Thank you again
@neontropics whooo thanks i love Bubble and bobble !!! i think about a 2 players version.
@jennyhe @epicgamefan thank you so much!
@nuanda79 @milq thank you very much for your kind comments, it’s very encouraging and it warms my heart.
@bloodbane good work...all is fine now
@digital-bacon whooo jump with the up key i'm shocked...but thanks i'm gonna think about it
@dishwand thanks a lot ! This is the first time someone has spoken to me about the dialogues, I am very happy
@hollowtsun thank you! yeah this sound makes me want to throw a book across the room
@weirdo-studios yeah i made it for a post jam version https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?pid=146734
@weirdo-studios yeah i made it for a post jam version https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?pid=146734
@levi thank you! you're so kind ... i want to rule all the fly-swatter devs!!
@samh thx pico 8 lover !!! for the throwing mechanics I think that with hindsight and the feedback from the players I would do it differently but hey I wanted it chaotic at the time and the possibility of crossing the screen while crushing flies
graphics and idea of the game are cool. But i think i'm definitely a downer.
Art style is cool and i think you could put more pollen, particules and more screenshakes but at certain times to emphasize game actions.
the graphics are super cool. And I like commanding armies of men for a just and sincere cause.
indeed the concept is interesting and worth exploring. Wouldn't it be easier to have the shapes to be made permanently displayed on the screen, specifying that it is the last thing placed which will create the new one? And also the possibility (limited but existing) of going back or destroying boxes that have been filled in incorrectly? I also wonder about the need to bring the character onto the tile why not click where we want to put it? In any case it's very nice graphically and the idea is very cool.
I have a particular love for mouth dubbing. maybe there should be a progression within the game, that we feel the challenge better and why not start a typing game using all the keys on the keyboard. In any case, the whole thing is very sweet and you can clearly see the craftsman behind his game.
yeah graphics, sound and all the feedback for the player are really cool. The puzzle is really puzzling !
The graphics are incredible, it's clearly the most beautiful ludum dare game, I love this style which goes so well with the pirate atmosphere. The music is also perfect and gives the whole thing a strange and disturbing atmosphere. But no matter how much I look at the rules and try to understand what it is, I can't play it... is there a way to play to win other than tossing the cards to the table? chance? Really too bad that all this atmosphere and these graphics are not at the service of a game that is a little more understandable... for my part anyway.
the ducks are cute and they don't step on each other...collisions are well managed
the atmosphere is disturbing and strange and that's so much the better. On the other hand, it would be cool if we could find our way around the dungeons with either a mini map or some kind of arrow. the design of the enemies is funny. I really wonder what I'm doing in this dungeon...
really it's not easy for me to play keyboard mouse especially on a platform game... it makes the controls really difficult to understand... even if the pixel art is rather pretty and the idea of summoning the monsters fought is original
the pixel art and animations are great... the whole thing is deliciously stupid. Maybe we should lower the difficulty curve which climbs quite quickly but hey it's a point of view. I'm curious about what happens next.
For me, who is not used to this type of game, I find that the beginning is dry, I have difficulty understanding what I have to do. But maybe I'm not the audience. The artistic direction is cool and original.
cool little game ...I like the 1-bit atmosphere and the graphics that go with it... I think the idea works well even if I hate moving around with WASD... it lacks a bit of balancing (normal for a game jam) and save points because the progression is quite slow and the enemies are a bit difficult so it's not easy to return there I think. But the proposition is original and it makes you want to play it.
Wow PICO 8 + Submarine... we're both very close... I like your interpretation and the graphic design is cool, but the hitboxes are wild...
That's my jam ! I really like the idea and the little storyline of the game...I think it's really cool... the execution is great, the graphics are really cute, I love the look on the cows' faces when you hit them with the beam. I really like the arcade gameplay which I find very suitable for PICO and as part of a jam. It's very cool, well done.
excellent and innovative as always... bravo
hey pico 8 lover ! good job, it's very impressive technically..
I like the minimalist style but it does lack a lot of feedback so that the player understands a little what is happening on the screen and what he has to do.
I love your interpretation of the theme, what an incredible idea... plus I love idle games... the pixel graphics are delicious... it's magnificent... a great game
I love idle games and I was hooked enough to go all the way and had a good time. I really like the aesthetics of the game and all the little noises. I find that it takes a little time to get going and it took me a while to understand the material crafting... but really cool
inverse unpacking is super cool... well realised... bravo
hey I love the coin explosions and how the monsters send you flying in all directions... ah ah it's so funny, the maxi frogs are very cool.... it's just that I didn't really understand the stakes, I went down like a madman pressing the button to activate my sword and there you go... the intention is cool in any case
The dwarves dug too greedily and too deep, it would be cool to be able to zoom in and out and also to be able to switch between dwarves easily... this kind of game is my jam
Hey, we both made a submarine game! Just for that, it's so cool.
Sorry for the others but for now this is my favorite game of the jam. It's very funny, the interpretation of the theme is surprising, the graphics and all the design are superb... the little phrases are excellent, the animations... and especially the little puzzle game... in short I love it... we played with my 10 year old son and we had a great time... plus the polish is great... it's awesome
From another pico lover, I really liked the gameplay proposal, it's really original... after all the graphic work is very cool as well as the music... I really like the gameover effect when all the pixels fall... I have to see how you did that... frankly it's a very very solid proposal, well done to you
The gameplay is very cool, very fast-paced and with a lot of game feel... a bit more explanation on the mechanics to score a maximum of points and it would have been perfect, but it's a super well-finished and well-made game, well done. it's looks like a downwell cross poinpy !
I love hand-drawn graphics but I find that it lacks feedback on where you click and why... a changing cursor, a sound... something to put the player on the right track... and since I haven't played Rusty Lake, I probably lack a reference.
I'm jealous of not having had this idea... I love the atmosphere and the minimalism... on the other hand, as you note in your text, I find that there are some rewards missing for patient players... some smooth animations, some reflections, some breaks in the atmosphere... a form of narration... everything is there, there is more to do...
oh it looks so good...but it doesn't work just a music and a black screen
The idea of the game is super interesting and deserves that we continue to dig deeper... and also a little more progression in the difficulty just to have fun taking control of the character before sweating
This little game is really nice... it would have been nice to set a point objective or placement constraints... it really looks like "ecosystem" type board games... I think the idea is very nice but wouldn't it be cool to see the effects of the tiles when you place them? In any case, this is a good idea to explore.
I LOVE IT ! It's so funny and stupid... and so frustrating too I love the graphics, the quacks, it's awesome it's my video game bravo
This idea of pachinko tower defense is excellent.. it's super cool, well done to you
The idea of the game is nice and there is a lot of humor, it just needs the impacts to be more pronounced and a little nervousness in the controls
The idea of the game is cool to go down into caves with an umbrella, I think it lacks a possibility to dodge, to do a little fighting or to bounce maybe? I really like this graphic style
The graphics are cool... after that I don't really know about the handling, I find it a bit stiff but maybe that's on purpose because that's the style that wants it...
i'm a vvvvvvv lover too, and your gameplay idea is cool and Above all, the production is great, the character responds really well and the progression is very pleasant... well done for the controls
Graphically it's completely crazy, I love it / on the other hand the collisions are complicated to manage as well as the physics I imagine that's the genre that wants that but for me it's not really my thing
it's a cat-downwell --- i love your art very much--- this pixel art is :3 --- but i think we should dig a little deeper into the gameplay it lacks a bit of challenge... but this animation of the cat falling is great
Capture d’écran 2025-04-09 à 21.56.14.png
you're welcome it was a cool ride. The idea is cool, It would be nice to have a little more feedback on the characters and interactions...but this shooting mushroom is still practical.
The graphics are magnificent but for me the mouse + keyboard handling is really complicated I don't understand this choice...and despite the campfires I go back to the beginning of the cave...
I really like the idea of the game and the low poly 3D graphics I love! But the collisions are really too sensitive, there should be a smoother progression or at least a bit of a tutorial phase to get started.
But all these rats are crazy... shouldn't we see the mouse pointer on the screen? I like this graphic style, it's my style!
No, but who throws delicious burgers into the ocean???? and it moves really fast... maybe we should add impacts for when we get hit...
I like your interpretation of the theme and this arcade feeling is really cool, very nice
c'est pas l'homme qui prend la mer sauf s'il est dans un sous marin !
Super interesting concept as always. Shouldn't the wins and losses appear on the blocks? I love the intro drawings that remind me of Disc Room, one of the best games of all time. And I finished it because I'm very smart... I love when i can finish jam games.
@rascarcapackdev mmmh i love your pseudo (avec des p'tits bouts de trucs...) and thx i want to be cute !
@mauzart hey thx, it was super boring to do this whole tutorial phase so it consoles me that you think it's cool!
@notnasiul hey i'm a pico lover de l'est ! Thank you and you know it's not easy to balance a game alone, I didn't want it to be too hard... but I didn't want to put save points... the ideal would be to make at least two difficulty levels... maybe in a post jam version
@ghettobastler i want to be better and délicieux... merci mec
@andrewkennedy wow major spoil...yeah they're evil cause they have red eyes... thank for the shield i'm very proud of it
@matt-ravenhall love your comment
@koolruz hey thanks to your comment, I understand what you're saying about the controls and I agree with you, I should think about how I can code that but I think it will improve the gameplay... in any case I tried to put a progressive difficulty and that we can understand the improvements... but I didn't want it to be too punitive that's why I put diamonds everywhere.... thanks again for the time spent it's too kind
@sagamore thank you so much... i am from NES era
@anhell06 thanks for your kind words and thank google trad
@cherrybcake wow thanks a lot but stop, you're making me blush
@marcos-tulio-cavalcante welcome abord captain !
@breadley thank you, so kind, i'm thinking about a post jam release with another type of enemy that i don't have time to implement : the evil big shell !
@milq I'm not too proud of the last boss and the ending, but I didn't have much time...and yes it's a game design choice not to have diagonal movements I wanted the submarine to be not too practical to handle... without being painful either and thank you very much for your comment
@monogatari hey thanks a lot, in fact i made the game in two days because I worked on Saturday... otherwise I would have preferred to present it in the compo category but hey, that's life
@mod-wiz thank you i like the idea of an old nokia game... so cool, and you're right the invicibility frame that prevent you to collect diamonds is an error that i forgot to remove ----- i'll make it in the post jam version
@gamedevtraum yeah that's a game design decision...thanks for your time !
@jacky-san merci monsieur si vous avez l'occaz de faire une version navigateur de votre jeu je suis preneur
@deadcode hey Submarine friend ! thanks for your comment...see you under the sea
@dandee Thank you, that's very, very flattering. We don't know where to look...
@baturinsky thanks for your time and your comment I understand what you're saying but it's really a design choice not to put the diagonals to limit the movements... it almost makes me want to try a kind of game like this again but with a tile-by-tile movement... for the boss it's clear that he's not great I did it at the end and I was exhausted... I should suspend the weaponry until the encounter with the boss.... that it is a little more scripted but it's really the lack of time... on the other hand the saves are voluntary and that's why the game is not difficult and not punitive so that it can be done in one go...
@shadyshade thx you're nice too
@mr-field Thanks for the comment and I agree about the boss, it needs to be corrected and as the game isn't very difficult...(although it depends on who it's for) I understand that you might find the time long...
@ehmtang hey thanks you're so kind... the collision with enemies or with walls? if you have the piercing missile (with the orange highlight) it's ok cause the missile is only stop by the walls. i'm a screenshake lover... sorry for that
@Bloodbane so happy to see you again ! thanks a lot for your time and your suggestions. I think I'll look into this story about the missile going down... screenshake, sfx, damage.... well the thing about the bar filling up when you're full is a mistake, I've already planned to remove it... thanks again
@marudziik thanks for your comment and for your tips, I'm glad that the polish is visible because it's very important to me. I choose to make short games but with a satisfying experience (at least for me).
@houmgaor thank you very much … i’m thinking actually to a new version of the boss !
@egor-iv / thanks it's so nice !
@leorean thanks a lot ... and your game is so cool !
@ditam thanks it's lovely...yeah i know the end is a little rushed... coz i run out of time...
@oadt thanks to you ..; yeah yeah too more screenshakes i will correct this in the post jam version and i think i would make some save points...and the priority in the key
@euler-moises hey thanks a lot you're so kind
@yorsh yeah i’m a really Classic guy and you’re right for thé HP and power up. Thank you for your words
@psychomonster oh thank you sir !
@kaba thx you're probably the last comment...
@fullbuff @510 incroyable ! pile pour le sprint final... merci pour vos commentaires ... vous êtes dans quel coin de la france?
I love Minesweeper and this one is very well done and I really like its overall aesthetic.
It's really magnificent, the colors, the drawings and the whole developed universe are superb... on the other hand I have trouble understanding the gameplay of the card game... are there combos and things like that... and also the impacts and the gamefeel are a little lacking
Very good idea and the execution is nice but it lacks variety this time... I think we need to keep digging but it's really encouraging. The physics of the bucket is fun.
Great, another game with a submarine... but underwater exploration isn't easy... what a job
sorry but the link don't work
From another pico lover, this has a lot of potential, it's a very good gameplay idea and inserting the tutorial into the game is always a good idea ;)
Like all the other reviews, I find the concept extremely interesting and I want to see how you could continue to dig deeper to develop new ideas and new game situations...
sooo hard and punitive... i want to play it cause graphics are super cool but haaaarsh some few saves...why are you so cruel... i'm a cool guy
a little too mysterious for me, I would need a little more information on what to do and why... the atmosphere is very good it's cottony
i'm sorry i can't test your game cause i've got no windows PC, can't you put an html version? sorry for that
wow submarine game ! like me ! hoyeeee ! so bad that i don't have a pc windows to test, it looks really beautiful !
oh my another submarine game like my game !!!! sorry but i don't have a pc windows game to test it... i'm so sad
Done it's tested and finished... I really liked the atmosphere and obviously the whole artistic side, the graphics, the sounds and the music, the UI is very cool... but what I preferred was jumping with the submarine out of the water like a beached fish... so funny and also the little square bubbles when you accelerate mmh I love it (I think I'm going to steal the idea from you)
Graphically it's magnificent... I love this pixel art but damn it's difficult... maybe a little help for the player to progress would be nice
interesting interpretation of the theme and very personal project, it's always nice to experiment
I like the DA and we see that there are plenty of gameplay ideas but a few save points would not be refused... or else make smaller levels with only one difficult jump... in any case it makes you want to but I must not be the right audience
This game within a game is very surprising... I didn't expect that... I like the graphics in this style too... cool
Hi pico lover ! I really like the finish of your game, the little phrases, the UI (the gauges are very beautiful), the graphics, the shading, the impacts etc... it's a shame that we can't have more control over the character or that it's a bit more progressive...buuuut hey it's fun... in any case I like your style and I'm going to follow your work with interest !
I think I'll never go to Australia, it's far too dangerous... at the same time a rabbit head that shoots rockets
great interpretation of the theme... frankly super original... but this game drives me crazy... games with completely crazy physics drive me completely crazy
Congratulations to you for finishing your first game in pico 8 from a pico lover... I really liked your very literal interpretation of the theme and I think your UI is very cool... I think I didn't understand everything about the gameplay but I liked the intention
from a pico lover : Well, it's simply brilliant... honestly, everything is there... the only problem for me is to make people understand what to do and to make the difficulty more progressive by putting at least a tutorial mode, but in jam mode it's completely normal... bravo, it's great and super well done
but damn it's awesome, the game is so beautiful and super well done, the feedback is great. and it's really great to have things to play all the time even during the fight phase by having this shooting phase... really a great game
A little platformer is always fun, but the levels are a bit difficult, especially since they are long... maybe you still need to save a little before a tough challenge so you can come back more quickly. The character is also a bit clumsy and a bit stiff, while the traps are everywhere. On the other hand, the action is perfectly readable, and I like the big levels.
I would like to know how you came up with the idea for this game? It's really original and you stick to your concept until the end. Afterwards, I agree that the controls are a little strange, it would be worth thinking about how to make them more spontaneous and more fluid. Always a pleasure to see a pico 8 game!
what an atmosphere... incredible, what discomfort
Great proposal that made me think a lot of Terry Cavanagh's Dicey Dungeon, but not the same... the execution is very cool, it works very well. Just the theme is a bit of a pretext, but very nice game, art is great. well done
The graphics and music are great, I love the title embedded in the level, I really like it.... on the other hand the collisions are a bit harsh... but it's very nice
It's going so fast... everyone in this house is angry
damn another mushroom picking game with pico 8! Another very nice interpretation, well done to you.
The idea is great, I love the concept... I like this kind of experience but I find that the handling is a bit stiff, it should be a bit more flexible and the character more agile... after that maybe it's done on purpose and I didn't understand anything... and another thing is why you can't navigate the menus with the arrows, it cuts the fun a bit... I really like the style you chose and frankly the idea of the game is very cool to explore I think.
Well, I love the concept... it really makes me want to keep exploring the idea. At first, I picked up all the trash and when I started to equip myself, I just rushed along the sidewalk. It was very funny... In any case, it's very original and it opens up a lot of perspectives... Just who is this weird guy laughing next to the man on the ground...
Well the idea of the game is so cool, I love these concepts of seek and find. The characters are excellent and the colors are really beautiful. On the other hand I did not manage to pass level 4 when there are plenty of them and some imitate the others badly... even by clicking everywhere... I think that it would be necessary to simplify the life of the players by indicating the number of characters to click or that the house does something when it is good. When it is too long that we can have a little visual aid to know in which corner to look See even that we can pass the levels. In any case I found it very cool and it would be worth continuing to work on this game.
super sucker is super cool, super beautiful graphics and good vibes of collection addict...great job like always !
very surprising and a very nice, sweet moment to spend... it's cool all these very tender games... I wonder if it's the theme that produces that
Well, it was excellent! I loved the ride, the graphic style is great, the dubbing is excellent... it's really a good game idea for the theme, well done
xhe aesthetics are really beautiful and intriguing. The music is successful. But the character is a bit stiff and it's not easy to play this kind of game when there is no impact and no feeling of resistance.
But why is it a reverse paperboy? He's collecting the newspapers that the other paperboy distributed? But what's going on?
Good interpretation of the theme but not at all my kind of games because it's super hard, these sheep don't listen to anything! But the realization is cool, I really like the illustrations too.
I'm confused...it looks cool but I'm having trouble understanding and playing... why do you sometimes have to use the mouse and sometimes the keyboard keys?
@surf-croc Could you post an html version so I can try it?
The graphics are really cool and the engine runs well... it's funny we thought of mushroom picking... I couldn't get rid of this interpretation of the theme
very nice, very good game idea and the execution is cool
B.A.N.G.E.R i love this duck
@maytch thank you and yes, you're right, I had a hard time deciding on the scope of the game, and so there's not much to do...
@lrdjj Thank you, I'm happy because my initial ambition was to use this palette and also to pick mushrooms in peace in the forest.
@preef yeah you know he reeeeally want to have a mushrooms collection
@harleylikesmusic @ueighti @ultraviolet thanks for your kind words
@marudziik yep i thought some players would probably like to keep pushing blocks after collecting the mushrooms. Congrats for your rocks dungeon !
@surf-croc yeah as he says he is not very good at sports
@ghettobastler sacré français
@ciphereo so easy you're right
@leorean pico 8 ! pico 8 !
@theparticularpixel @kaba @bloodbane @freeworld thanks you ! you are too kind
@euler-moises I can't wait to play your game Pico 8 ! Enjoy!
@ethanbai yeah there is just a final dialogue … sorry @automatonvx thx…you’re right it’ s really light about game stuff to do… @asieke thank you
@amiuke @mamboman I'm glad you had a good time, that was the intention, thank you for your comments
@koolruz If only everyone would be kind... thank you @eloc yeah music is my weak point and as I always do it last because I don't want to do it well.... you know...
@bacontree @a4po Thank you both... at the beginning of the jam I just wanted to go for a walk and grab some mushrooms and then I said to myself that it still lacks interactivity, there should at least be a little something to do and I implemented the rocks to push... and I didn't really think about puzzle games but yes it gives me lots of ideas to put more "game" in this game
@kuggenhoffen @tolja i agree it's too light... but I had a hard time deciding which direction to take during development and here it is
@zliebowitz @stephenwhoskins thanks a lot you're so kind
I love it, it's so beautiful, it's simple, you understand it right away, it's super playable... thank you for this great time, it was so good
What good ideas in this game, what you have achieved is really very interesting, well done to you
Wow, what a trip, what a ride... the artistic style is sublime.
What's this crow going to do with all these coins? I think the different scenes it goes through are cool. Go pico 8!
classic but effective, I really like the clean graphics and the large levels... the handling is a little stiff and I would have liked more progression in the difficulty... but it's cool I really enjoyed playing it even if I didn't manage to collect all the coins.
