Hands down the best game I've played so far!
One of the funniest games I've played! Great concept!
Aesthetically well polished! Good work with the art! Game was self-explanatory thanks to the UI.
Witty, fun, and silly. I enjoyed the hand-hold tutorial-like experience
Great concept. Really kept me engaged for a LONG time. I wish I could change the angle or power by some other way than dragging a knob on the bottom-left (maybe scroll wheel?). The sound effects were perfect!
Excited to see another Godot game! Liked the "shadow" effect!
@squirmonkey Sorry to hear that. Does it work on a different browser or a different computer?
@jamessauer Thank you! That's a good idea. I ran into these browser-based issues near the end of the game jam, so I didn't get time to refactor. For now, linux/windows/macos work best, but I should definitely rearrange it to get web polished.
@jupiter-hadley wow, thank you for playing! Your feedback is super helpful!
Wow! I jumped right into this game without reading the description, so I didn't expect the campfire to turn into a robot. THAT WAS AWESOME. Very cool that the sound dims when the robot is not in frame. Loved all the attention to detail (e.g. the snow footprints). This world is pretty huge! The dialogue between the characters is well-timed, too. Probably my favorite game for LD46 so far.
Love tower-defense games. This was a clever twist. Opens up some interesting ideas to take it further, like what if the different areas of the brain (Occipital lobe, Temporal lobe, Parietal lobe, etc.) modify the behavior of the units? Neat concept! Great art!
If I had VR, this would be the first game I would buy, haha!
Hahaha, the 3D humanoid models were animated so well. Shooing off the crowd with the left and right arrows was clever. Pretty enjoyable!
Fun puzzles with cute robots! Great execution!
Great take on the theme. I've never played as a melting snowman before, so that was a fun experience :snowman: Pretty expansive world and very lively with all the enemies moving around. Great job!
Interesting twist with the stamina meter
The controls are what makes this game stand out, in my opinion. Just felt so right. Trying to take care of a plant while spinning out of control was actually pretty thrilling! The levels are nice and elegant. The level of detail in some of the artwork is very impressive for just 48 hours. And, great audio!
What a time to be alive - I can now play an arcade game about atomic particles! Cool concept.
That is by far the funniest dog walking animation I've ever seen! The 3D world reminded me of pokemon games for some reason. The world felt rather expansive. Neat idea!
RIP John Conway. Cool tribute! At one point, it really looked like the flowers were expanding in a naturally realistic way. I had more fun randomly spreading the seeds than I expected. Sure, there's some strategy in carefully picking the starting points, but it was way more life-like to spray and hope it all works out, haha.
If Frogger wasn't hard enough... I had to scale down the difficulty, but finally beat it!
I ended up with some pretty fancy drone back-flips trying to catch my falling heart! Very polished and very well done! Great work!
The art and music go together really well. Makes you feel like you're in a completely different world.
Simulating a society or economy is intrinsically hard, so I applaud your efforts! I wasn't able to last long, but I could tell there was A LOT happening in the background under the hood. Cool "living world" system.
Neat concept. The immediate feedback with numbers and colors on clicking the mouse was well done. Sound would make it more fun.
I like how the game started immediately, with little barrier to entry. Got right to the action!
Pretty funny music, and art is fun to look at. I like that it jumps right into action - no long tutorial. Good job!
The game was pretty polished! It would be neat if trampling over the flame would affect it.
Loved the concept! Reminds me of Coffee Talk, with Pagliacci
Clever twist on an age-old game mechanic! Lots of room to scale up here, so that's exciting!
As cannedveg said above, the rubbery run animation was hilarious!
Making it slow also adds to the seriousness, which is cool!
You were really able to take a simple idea and turn it around into something novel and addicting. It's games like these that make me awe at elegant designs. I love when the rules of a puzzle are so simple, yet the solution takes great care and thought to accomplish. I could see this really taking off into a full fledged game. Nice job!
I would play a game filled with this art style. Love the whimsical nature.
Enjoyed the voxel art style. And the concept is so Looney Toons-y, love it! Btw, that is one UGLY baby :baby:
Innovative movement mechanics. I enjoyed the turn-based yet real-time mashup of rhythm-based movement.
Finally I can power my cloud infra using 10 raspberry pis! Pretty funny concept, great execution. Also, I'm surprised by the polished instructions in the beginning. Not many games value good instructions. Good work!
Very witty  At first the hilarious instructions, card descriptions, and overall mood caught my attention to continue playing, but what made me really stick around was the brilliantly designed game mechanics! I got up to level 8 on my 3rd try! Showed it to my partner, and we had a great time playing it together. Well done!
Update: 55 turns!! BAM!
game-score.png
Fun game! Loved the art. Had no problem with the controls. It would be cool if you could name the turtles (to grow some sore of additional attachment to them). Then when a turtle gets taken away, you really feel the loss.
Very thoughtful to put the color-blind mode
A computer in a computer! Would be meta if this game spins my laptop fan due to high CPU usage as well  Very polished controls and visuals!
Good execution! It's get pretty hard and unforgiving, haha. The art is pretty nice.
This is one of those few games that makes you keep coming back and trying different approaches. Really enjoyed the vibe. Some music would add a lot to the ambiance. I could see this game scale up to a more complex map. Great idea!
Reminds me on Animal Crossing , because you have to wait a day, so no instant gratification. Also, your art was a pleasure.
Beautiful art, sprites, and mood . Really makes me curious about the robot's backstory and more lore.
Beautiful visuals! Very interesting that there's no health-bar or damage meter, which makes the game more wholesome. When you get hit by another bird, you can keep going, which is pretty refreshing compared to other games that are less forgiving. Nice touch with the baby birds chirping after being away for a while. Great game!
I actually thought the art style was great and original. The autonomy of the other NPCs was well done. Clever take on the theme, too. By the way, I had a similar approach to "keeping the party alive". Check out my game for something vaguely similar
The shadow of the incoming foot was well done. Clean visuals - minimalism goes a long way! Nice work!
Games where you earn helper NPCs to fight for you always have such good replay value. Great concept!
I had similar issues as the folks commenting here. The text wasn't aligned, but the game was still playable, and pretty engaging! I wonder how you managed to keep track of all the dialogue paths? What's your secret :smirk:
Absolutely no bugs and glitches, which is pretty incredible for a 48-hr game jam. Great work keeping up the quality, even it means simplifying the art.
Loving the "I'm ready" animation. The puzzle designs are well done. Clever idea, reminds me of Braid a little. Jumping could be improved, but that's always a tricky thing to get right.
Tuh tu tuh tu tu tuh! Found my new ringtone
That was hard, but could even be an educational way to learn to code! Hint: set everything to 0 to get past the first level. Indeed https://esolangs.org/wiki/Brainfuck#Language_overview cheat sheet is essential.
It's a drinking game - get it?
MOOD! GRAPHICS! AUDIO! Take all my votes, really impressive work! I love it when a game puts me in a new universe. Great work, you're an excellent world-builder.
Every character was so well designed and different from each other. I really enjoyed this universe. Would play a full story in this world.
When it flipped upside down, I cracked up! Hilarious concept. I feel like there's a half-second delay between when I press the left/right key and when the object moves. Wonder what's causing that input lag?
There's a lot of depth in this game, more than what meets the eye at first sight. The leveling up mechanic is cool; it gives you the option to change your play style. Neat idea, though maybe the 3D game ended up a bit laggy on my browser? Wonder why. Anyways, great job!
I gave this a 5 for "Mood"! This game in full-screen was a dream. Really polished!
I think you nailed it with the jump mechanic. Felt just right and not frustrating. Also, good progression - introducing the controls gradually over time. Well done!
LOL I had NO suspicion that this game was going to have an ending! When the music started ramping up and the light started fading, I was like "OH SHI- somethings happening!"
Pleasantly surprised by the game!
SO satisfying to perform a dig action! Great work with the timing, animation, and sound. Very fluid! I explored for a while, but I wish there were more enemies or interesting items around.
@pookipoot good question! I never got around to putting a wall around the region  so there's actually nothing in the dark-green areas
@mrbrainfed you won! I ran out of time to design and implement the end-state :poop:
My Pavlovian response is to dig all the Minecraft gold I see. Seriously though, great artwork!
Great puzzle game once I understood the rules! Interesting that you let the player "jump up" so high - that saved my ass a couple times
Hey, I had some trouble getting this to play on FireFox and Chrome on macOS. I see the "'Til Debt Do Us Part", but I'm unable to move forward. By the way, we both had similar ideas, "deeper and deeper in debt" see mine: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/dukes-of-debt
I was presently surprised by the quality 3D graphics! At first, my attention was on the person falling, which looked 2D, but it was a cool optical illusion when the world became 3D with almost realistic structures. Good execution!
Oh, I think it was strictly a dodging game until I had to fill in the blanks. I totally loved the novelty. It's a feel good game in a time when we need it most! Great work there!
A rogue-like exploration game? Sign me up! It's like [Minit](https://store.steampowered.com/app/609490/Minit/) and Minecraft had a baby. Wish it was easier to know what direction I was attacking. I like your instrucitons/tutorial page a lot! Very helpful!
It's like Zelda or Banjo Kazooie! The visuals were so great, and the attack/dodge actions were easy enough to learn. The final boss was fun. Thanks for keeping the difficulty easy.
Visuals were well done, definitely added to the mood. I like the map, it's nicely thought out. I'd prefer if the bullets were more visible.
Great job getting the alligators and sharks to look scary, and their "AI" felt natural. I love that it starts over immediately, which makes me want to keep playing after dying. Isometric controls was an interesting choice, took a while to get used to that. Very impressive for just 48 hours! Nice work!
First cyber-animal-punk strategy game I've ever played! That's why I play Ludum Dare games!
Cool idea, I'd like to see more games that explore webapps, like you did. Nice work completing a fully functional webapp in a weekend!
Great writing and story telling!
Stunning visuals! Excellent sound design. Simple and satisfactory controls.
The notes showing up in the middle of the screen was an interesting/odd choice. It reminded me of the heads-up map display in Diabolo II. I like how the notes tie together a bigger story.
Best Audio Ever. Also, the camera zoom in/out was well done. Really enjoyed the energy and awe this brought out.
So satisfying to hear that attack/gun-fire sound... Really nicely polished.
THE MUSIC WAS EVERYTHING! The music single handedly made me want to keep playing. It added to the mood. The mechanics, the fear, the awe, - it was all there thanks that that beautiful composition. My favorite entry so far! Good job!
I'm glad you posted the video, so that I can "cheat" and see all that the game had to offer
This reminded me a lot of an old DOS game called [Dangerous Dave](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dangerous_Dave). Jumping mechanics are silly and unintentionally funny. Love the art. Cool that the music changes.
These puzzles are really well thought out. Even level 2 stumped me for a while. Really cool game mechanic. This kept be entertained for quite a while, so I bet you could totally polish this up and release it somewhere. Nice job!
I second what @too-lazy-cat said, innovative mechanics! The music was exceptional too, and added to the mood. I like how the color/brightness of the asteroids indicates direction, which is way smarter than a simple arrow. This would make for a fun mobile game too!
Haha, this is a great concept. You should check out my "debt" game too. We think alike!
You're done something amazing here. You have elegantly described my brain at social gatherings in ways I've failed to explain in words. The eel physics were hilarious! Honestly, a bit difficult to press those buttons, c'est la vie.
hahaha oh man my top speed was at 110 and I still lost by a mile!
Had me addicted for a few minutes, nice! One recommendation: the I, O, P keys are a bit confusing. Maybe simplify to only 2 keys?
Interesting spin on an age-old classic mechanic.
For a second I thought this was an online socket.io type game because the NPC movement was so fluid and perfect!
Hahaha, I love the dramatic ZOOM IN when you die! I love the simplicity of this game. Good replay value too!
It's like a Sudoku puzzle with a gun to your head + radioactivity!
This felt very polished and the puzzle mechanics were new (at least to me)!
This is a new twist on an age old planet orbit simulator game, very well done! I didn't realize planets just bounce off each other hahah. The sound effect when a planet hits the sun is like a balloon with a leak lol. Very fun game!
You see, *this* is why I love game jams. Where else would I find commentary on our collapsing postal system in a katamari style wack-a-mole with anthropomorphized mail?
Nice game. You've got to make the music sync'd up with the wall patterns!
Actually pretty innovative how I ended up playing a 2d game in a 3rd world and it felt so natural. Very funny to watch a live-stream of a missile. Messing up is high-stakes lol
I like how they move a little before they start chasing you, which gives you a chance to escape. That adds depth to the game. Also, interesting that the field of view was a rectangle instead of a cone.
Easy to learn, difficult to master! Visuals were well done!
Woah the drifting is so natural, and the camera angle's so interesting. Did you use the built-in vehicle 3d node in godot? really fun game, and kindda challenging too. I made it to the end!
I absolutely loved the music and sound effects! Paired perfectly with the eye popping artwork. Lasso animations could have been better, but the game play was fantastic, and really cool innovative mechanics!
dude that dragon was completely unexpected! hahaha
In most games you take damage and lower your hearts. In _this_ game, you _are_ a heart, and lower the heart is part of the mechanic. Weird! Cool! Neat concept!
The piano sfx as you build a tower was a nice polish/touch
got all the way to the blue screen of death, and loved the end credits! you have an innovative concept, just needs to be fleshed out. great work!
I'm going to print out this manual and place it next to the printer at work.
You get innovation points for mixing mediums: game + doc!
Art and music are also fantastic! Good job!
The typography makes this a little more challenging than expected haha
That really broke the 4th wall. I wish it was clippy I was fighting against haha.
Having some trouble loading this game. Stuck at loading screen.
The camera-shake once you start repairing servers felt pretty epic! I forgot to use the power-ups at first, so I didn't last long
Once the shooting mechanics kicked in, this game got _real_. I appreciate the tutorial, and I liked that I got to the end!
The tipsy/dizzy effect was well done! Imagine this in VR lol. The music was fitting and upbeat. I really enjoyed the colors and 3D assets too. Good job!
Cool concept. I wish I could see the arrows that I was shooting. I like the main characters visual style. I could easily see this game in an arcade machine.
I got 1 minute in, and then it got really hard! I wish the enemies could levitate as quickly, or had some sort of limited time that they could float. Other than that, great concept! It was missing some spooky music haha.
Can't say I've ever played a game like this before, haha! Well done, great art, and the hands were drawn well. I would love to read some lore/backstory of what's going on. Very intriguing!
The giant smile on the planet was a great way to indicate the "health bar" without requiring that UI element. Great idea, it made the game feel more polished.
the voice acting was suberb and hilarious! neat concept, and fun to read all the little articles/notes.
The upgrades were nicely spaced out - I got an opportunity to try all of time. The whole game had a good difficulty, I last pretty long on my first try! Would be cool to have "bots" or NPCs that you could hire to stand and guard an area.
love the art! beautiful colors and I love how it feels almost dexter's lab or power puff girls like. Animations were were done too! Pretty impressive for a compo!
Beautiful hand-drawn art! Music loop was fantastic and addicting! Suggestion: the game could use more of a "shake" visual and "pop" sound effect once you consume a human.
I love the dig-dug style games, and this one already makes one innovation I haven't seen before: a quick sparkle to hint at a gem in the area. I love that it feels endless. Great work so far, excited to see where it goes.
Innovative! I've never played a game like this before. Really cool mix of fast-paced resource management and slow-paced decision making. It was a little hard to tell if I was properly dodging (or hitting) the units coming through. But, still - awesome job!
really really hard!
I wish there was a way I could trade in points earned for power ups so the next time I restart, I have a better time lol
This is how I see my mondays!
Absolutely the best music I've heard in a compo submission! I kept playing to just keep the beats going!
Huh, this is pretty innovative! I don't mind the "programmer art" since the game mechanics make up for it. Music was surprisingly good, better than the art lol.
The music was so good! It really set the mood right. Great work on your first entry!
Beautiful art! Really sets you in the mood. The first puzzle was pretty challenging haha. Only recommendation I have is that if you drop a crop onto another, it should swap their positions if a fit is possible.
These drone physics put real world drones to shame!
@potatocouch @kierogi @zirrrus thanks so much for playing! Yes, the "I love you" level is the last one, so congrats on getting that far! The game uses shitty speech recognition on purpose haha, to make the experience on the first date more awkward
Beautiful art, and love the pacing, just ASMR the game
I was going to use Godot 4 too until I realized web builds were a bit challenging to set up haha. Nice work with the graphics and physics in your game. Love how the colors complement each other.
Nice work! Burger stacking!
haha, let me voice act your game!
Handwritten text in videogames is just so authentic! Love it!
It ran well for a 3D browser game! Some good ideas, but that audio was hilarious.
Super realistic birds and deer contrasted with blocky grass floating in mid air is pretty charming
I could see this game at my local arcade. Congrats on getting it out and playable! Level design is well thought out too!
I bet this world could be expanded and the game would be endless!
That art style was so addictive haha, great work!
*that* is one of the fastest tractors I've ever seen!
Featuring moms with attitude throwing up middle fingers during childbirth! The simple art nails it, with the crib-to-OR distance just right for a breezy baby-delivering experience.
The kicks propel you forward like a caffeinated kangaroo on roller skates. Spam it to your heart's content, and you'll feel like you're cheating the laws of physics! 🦘
The sound design? Oh, it's like Mozart and Skrillex had a baby.
The background art? Absolutely mind-blowing! It's like Picasso, Van Gogh, and Bob Ross threw a paint-fueled rave and invited us to join the party. 🎨
This game has more mood than a room full of moody teenagers <3
Excellent strategy game with dark vibes. Well done! I bet the tactics could be fleshed out for many years haha
This was pretty hard to get running. Agree that music would be dope. Nice job!
I had no idea my browser could render 3d games like this! Also that voice acting is perfect!
YES! more hand drawn art!
I feel like I can play this in my TI-84
The UI was actually very responsive and easy to use. Never felt laggy. And the UI sounds were well done. Nice job!
I'd play an entire franchise with this art haha!
The minimalist art actually adds a lot to the ambiances, nice work!
Aww man, I'm getting a Godot warning too.
That was really fun! Imagine a multiplayer mode!
Thanks for the fix, very cool game
that was my first experience w/ OperaGX. Neat thing. Cool game, too! love the art!
Physics simulators are endless fun! Great game, I bet it was really fun coming up with the level designs!
That was kinda hard, but I see what you were going for! Goodbye gpu.
Love the attention to detail in the animations, which reminds me of old school Prince of Persia. Boat mechanics took a bit to figure out, though eventually it felt natural. Nice work!
@john-gabriel was the performance problem on web or desktop? If on web, then it's likely due to the AI planning algorithm running in parallel for each passenger.
The music is such a banger, I did not expect that
Love the simplicity, and it was pretty addicting. Nice job!
Cool level designs! And nice work with the art and all the animals. I recommend starting off with an easier level, just to help the player feel more confident.
Absolutely polished! If this were polished any further, it would be be a gemstone. Art + Audio direction is spot on!
Hooks you in quicker than you can say "roadside assistance!". Love the music, almost felt like beach-rock. The boat controls were goofy, in a good way. I could see this game develop in so many different ways (imagine more tug-boat power-ups). Anyways, pretty incredible you did all this in just 2 days! Nice going!
rooming with a bloodthirsty vampire has never looked so good. Kudos on such detailed and thoughtfully crafted handmade drawing. 10/10 would risk a reverse mortgage with this vampire again!
click click click click click click! If only there was sound/music! I could do this all day! I enjoyed the inventory-fitting mechanic paired with buying more space. Having "people" in my bag was pretty funny too. Nice work!
Simplicity of the music and art pair well together! Never played a game like this before, so it was pretty innovative!
I really want to play this game, but I'm getting the same error as @cagibi on linux :frowning2:
I tried both Linux binaries.
That got challenging real quick, haha. I was surprised by the complexity and unpredictability of some scenarios (in a good way!). Suggestion: speed up the time it takes to retry a level, since retrying is such a fundamental action for trying new experiments. The game is more and more fun the more I learn how to solve specific scenarios.
Reminds my of gym class back in the day.
I absolutely love how the controls are apparent and the game explains itself pretty naturally.
Minor suggestion: I'd like to use a different hand to press the Jump and Smash buttons, but E/R keys are too close to WASD. Maybe change to space bar for jump and Ctrl or Alt for Smash?
Flawless jump physics! Really felt polished. I liked how destroying the red critters expands the arena, which was a nice twist. Great game!
I thought I understood the premise until the devilish merry-go-round came at me at full speed, and that's when I audibly gasped! The song-loop was such a fun beat, and I love how the game-over melody matches the song. So much love and care was put into the details here. Amazing job!
Who knew DLC could be this literal?
I love how massive the scale felt. Each play-through help different, so the replay factor is certainly there. I wish the DLC popup was less in the way - makes it hard to see which direction my ship is facing.
Keep blazing, Cashblazer :fire:
Woah, I was able to play this game in Italian, by changing the locale in the options menu. This is probably the most accessible game I've seen yet. Nice job!
The art is so smooth! It's a shame I can't vote the graphics, I would give it 5 stars!
The golfer's face perfectly captures my mix of determination and impending doom, because the difficulty ramps up faster than my heart rate. Sound effects are on par (get it?).
Tis a good ol' knapsack problem applied to a newspaper editor game that fits the theme perfectly! You know, I was thinking, it would be kindda interesting if you have to weigh the moral quandary of what types of advertisements to publish. Like imagine if a fascist dictator propaganda has +100 value, but causes unrest. Haha, I'm going off on a tangent, but this game got me thinking! Nice work!!
So cool to play as the villain as a twist! The game mechanics actually work well together. I wish I could see an attack animation sprite or hear sfx for attacks. Great entry and incredible job for your first entry!
Very clean and simple, yet difficult! Remind me never be operate a real rocket!
Thanks for the explanations in the comments. It was hard at first to figure out the game mechanics on my own, but after reading a few comments, I think I'm getting the hang of it. This is one of those games where you really want to know how to play because the art just pulls you in!
the satellite explosion pixel smash animation was so satisfying. nice work!
I broke down the brown material (dirt?) by ramming into it, and then shoved the yellow square (star?) onto the mini brown bits, and that changed the composure of the yellow square. I feel like I'm getting closer to something. Can I get a hint?
Lots of character and humor from the text alone! Cool art too!
@ategon I'd be honored!
I had way more fun with this than I expected. Needing to remember the house of fire and looking for clues in the lizard's eyes really put me into the zone. Alternative endings per level could be an interesting way to take this game further. Great job!
The consistency and minimalism of the art style actually made it feel really high quality! Nice work!
I gotta say, I immediately grasped the concept of flying from the animation alone. The wings flapping was so well done. The blocky art reminded me an old DOS game called Dangerous Dave. Great work!
Beautiful art! The background really sets the mood. I wish the cat sprite had 1 more state to indicate "loading", because I wasn't sure when exactly I could launch another ramen bowl down.
It's like capture the flag, except with romance and and other team is raiding your castle! It was really fun, and surprisingly difficult. I couldn't figure out a strategy to win, got tips?
The level of polish in insane. The bats flying around in the background added so much to the mood. I enjoyed how simple the controls were, nothing beats clicking around! Could be a fun tablet/phone game too. Music loop and sfx were also excellent. Reminded me a big of plants vs zombies.
I could totally see this fleshed out into a full-on game! Imagine starting out with only basic components and slowly unlocking new ones. Reminds me a bit of Nimbatus (on Steam). Nice job!
Intuitive controls! Great job on your first game! Lots of opportunities to go from here, such as adding an end-state or points counting the number of moves.
What a twist! Your game mechanic adds a nice risk vs. reward dilemma the higher you build the tower. I was thinking, maybe it would be easier if, instead of randomly replacing a block, the blocks are numbered, and the sequence is predictable.
Super intuitive controls and the map layout was easy to navigate though. The explosion of colors really puts you in another world! Nice work!
One of the highest quality visual styles I've seen this ldjam! The rules are pretty fun and new too, never seen this "link" mechanic before. Something felt slightly off about the jumping controls, but other than that super solid entry, great job!
Nice colors! I want this as my screensaver
"NOICE." Love the sounds / audio effects! The visuals are also amazingly done! I felt like I was doing mortal kombat move combos haha. I love that the game was self-explanatory from the visuals alone!
Haha, great animations!
This is so brilliant that it's mind blowing! I love that even though there are only 3-5 types of attacks, you have many words that do the same thing, so it appears like there's more variety than there really is. What a cool idea to use ASCII art and type out the marine animals in text! SO COOL!
The controls took getting used to, but definitely a fun and aesthetically beautiful experience!
BEAUTIFUL. I could just frame screen grabs as art in my room.
That is a loooooong wiggly arm! I would play a game centered around that arm, alone!
This is probably my favorite LD 57 game! You did a great job with the humor and appropriately frustrating layout of the office. I wonder if there were some easter eggs in the game, I'll have to play again and explore. It would be really Stanley Parable-esque to have a hidden story, in the background. Nice job!
Falling in each level takes to back to the previous? That's so cool! I don't think I've seen that mechanic before in a golf game. Nice work!
I like there's a in-game reason for slipping and sliding (socks on wood).
I did NOT expect this game to have so much depth, no pun intended. The genre change mid-game was mind-blowing. You definitely subverted my expectations, because I thought I signed up for some easy-breezy jelly-fish slapping. That ending was glorious!
The fact that the smith and enchant powerups **consume** space in your tunnels was really clever! I don't think I've ever seen that particular game mechanic in any dig-style game before. Also, the scrappy "X" art for the button to close the tutorial modal was HILARIOUS
Nice work! I feel like I can play this game endlessly!
That parallax effect is dope.
The simplicity of the visuals are so well done. I tried to make a 3D game too, but it ended up looking like crap
Surprisingly challenging and elegant! I love how the feels like it has so much depth in it. Also do I see webassembly? so cool!
I want to play this on the Nintendo DS! Clever use of physics / animation here. nice work!
Reminds me of Balatro <3
The color scheme here really added to the mood
Always love a shooter entry!
wonder where you'll take it?
I love turn based strategy, I love dice games, and I love card games. You just mixed all my favorite things into a game!
I can't believe how polished this is in such a short time. Stunning!
Your spider animation is adorable
Love the sfx and music, and especially love the animation and color scheme!
Would be cool to see some visual feedback on hover, just so I know what I'm able to interact with.
Nice work!
Kinda tron line!
Unparalleled artwork! The visuals alone made me keep playing.
I low the difficulty ramps up slowly. Just when you think it's getting easy, there's more to dodge and do. So, great work on the pacing!
I've never played a game like this before, so thank you for making something so refreshingly new
3D box physics?? Sign me up!
Pretty comprehensive for a game jam! The characters add so much to the mood, and the game play seems well tuned
This totally engulfed me! I was not expecting the music to hit so hard (almost sounds like Boléro). The sfx also meshes so well with the music, and it all feels so cohesive with the minimalist art style, too! Progressive difficulty in level design was spot on :dart:. Minor feedback: I was a bit confused by the red enemy markers: where they bullets? Anyways, AMAZING GAME!
The level of polish is unreal! There's so much you've done with so few pixels, that it feels every pixel was justified for a space shooter!
@graebor keep shaking the mouse!
Very innovative! It's like mini-motorways and a tower-defense type game had a baby. I love that you can see the world grow, and it lets you appreciate the chaos and mess you create. I wish the right-click control was a little easier to use. Put some sfx and I'd play this all day! Nice job!
I had way more fun with this than I thought I was going to have! Found it HILARIOUS when my signals looked nothing like what it should have. Would be funny if I summoned the wrong super-hero due to my mishap
> bit more story driven
Yea! That's such a good idea! I'd love each level to feel like a story beat!
Love the Persona-style UI, like the stylized "Play" button on the right. I always love a good card-based turn-based battle. Nice work!
Surprised by the level of detail!
You know what, the decryption game mechanic was so clever because it felt like I was uncovering a real signal, even though no real-world encryption actually jumbles up letters like that. Like, it didn't break the immersion. You somehow made me feel like I was decrypting better than any AAA title could do.
Was that a riff on the Banana Boat Song
Loved the immersion! The visuals were so cohesive and complete. I had to admin I had to read the directions a couple time to grasp the dynamics (red = bad, got it!). Nice work!
Wow! Now that's a unique story. Excellent presentation!
Well done! I for one love the difficulty!
Mastercard in minimalism
