really awesome gimmick, would love to see this expanded into a full game!!! i said "no way" out loud when I first hit X, lol

also, I didn't figure out you have to go find the switch until my second time playing. the first time, by changing perspective mid-air, i was able to just jump on top of the boulder blocking the exit and win that way. either way, you could do a ton of really cool stuff with this concept!!!

really cool visuals!!! i'm always amazed by what people manage to squeeze out of PICO-8, the 3D feel and color patterns are just amazing. made it to level 11 by just hanging back in the middle until I absolutely *had* to reposition, then immediately going back to the middle as soon as it was safe. if you wanted it to go infinite, you could add some health pickups, and if you wanted to encourage riskier play, you could add score pickups, but what's here is plenty of fun already and looks *amazing!!!*

fun little puzzler! the ghosts made me laugh, after a certain point I was running into them on purpose. I did have a bug where my vision kept drifting off to the side but that might just be a Firefox/Godot thing, I was able to counteract it by just pushing really lightly in the opposite direction so it didn't really stop me from enjoying. overall just a really nifty entry!

really cool graphics! didn't expect to be able to climb ledges, that was a neat touch. the camera felt like it was kind of hesitating to show where I was going and i usually prefer games where the character has a bit of momentum instead of just stopping as soon as you let go of the movement key, but those are my only complaints. i really like the atmosphere, the sprites were very interesting without being unreadable at all. great work!

WOW thanks so much for all the very kind comments!!! yes, I did opt-out of ratings, just because I felt like it wasn't "really a game" (there's no real objective or win condition) and yeah, I wasn't able to make the enemies move or attack in time for the submission cutoff, though that was the last thing I planned to add before submitting. the player bullets handling weird is another thing i plan to fix when I expand on this, originally it felt weird for them to not inherit *any* of the player's movement velocity (so you could outrun the red projectile if you fired it at the start of a slide jump, for example) but them inheriting vertical velocity makes it almost feel more like artillery. either way, thanks for all the feedback!!! once i expand on this some more, i'll leave another comment here linking to where you can play new versions/get development updates. :D
