Really great music and pixel art visuals, it gave me the vibe of a sonic game. I also like how more obstacles and enemies get added as you dig deeper

good game, but it's way too easy. i scored 12,300m before falling asleep. i did like it though

I think the concept fits the jam theme very well. The game is great but just very simple. I would be very cool to see more kinds of obstacles besides the little green fellas and the mines. I also think the store is redundant at the moment due to the overpriced health, I never can buy it and there is nothing besides that in the store. A speed update or new drill would had been cool in the shop!
The sound effects and animations made getting gold really satisfying. I think this game fits the theme really well. I think I'm really tired after rushing to get my entry done because I couldn't get enough money to buy the health in the shop, but I'll blame that on my own skill issue and not necessarily your game design. Nice work!
amazing music, gameplay is fun and should finish this up in steam or as a mobile game!
Nothing to complain about, it's in the theme, it's beautiful, it works well, I just would have liked to have the real sensation of digging by destroying the texture that we touch, that would have brought a little extra
great music!!!
Hi friend! I really like the love you put on this art, it's fantastic!!! Those controls are responsive and I'm hooked by the mechanic!!! Captura de tela 2025-04-08 084544.png
A very addictive game, the gameplay feels nice
Echoing everyone else's thoughts, the art and music are terrific and the digging is satisfying.
Super fun game! I felt I made it really far, but apparently still nothing to the score above:

I had a good system in place: Vertical movement good, horizontal movement bad, that was my strat to avoid the toxic enemies and their horizontal attacks. I don't agree with previous comments that it is too easy though, I was constantly just scraping by. The two-hearts system was great, it gives you one grace hit before you have to face sudden death and have to carefully get back to 5000 gold nuggets. There was one perious where I had two hearts and 5000 gold nuggets, that made me feel very powerful and invincible (but two encounters where I messed up with the laser enemies made short work of that buffer). On that note, I also enjoyed the additional enemies and what they added to the table, the aforementioned laser enemies that really change how you tackle a screen and the enemy that eats gold nuggets and makes it a race. All in all was super balanced for me, great job on the game design!
The game itself looks and feels great as well. Digging through nugget blocks and enemies feels super satisfying, sound effects are on point as well. The pixel art style feels very clean, I like how the game looks a lot. Music fit super well the the vibe of the game as well, that's a nice tune to dig some gold nuggets to. Great game, very well done!
It plays SO SMOOTH and the jazzy music is SO NICE. That's a little gem I dug today ;)
The music goes really well with the gameplay! I just wish there was a little more of a challenge, you can almost just go down and forget about the obstacles, just avoid some enemies here and there, and keep going down.
There's ton of potential for more: - the shop implementation - upgrades - more options to recover health - Enemies with different mechanics, like an enemy you have to shoot to kill, or an armored enemy you have to hit from behind - harder blocks that you have to hit more time - I'd be really cool if you have a defective machine that dashes randomly every now and then
Hope you keep at it! 😉
Beautiful art style and fantastic music, it actually gave me some Mega Man vibes, haha. I really enjoyed how the difficulty ramped up and the satisfaction of collecting the coins. Great job, keep it going!
Feels very polished, I had to re-check if this isn't a JAM entry. Very impressive. Music is just superb (5/5) but then I kind of expected it might me, reading the description on your profile. But the graphics are really great as well, the feedback loop was pretty readable - I think with adding some more things (see one of the comments above) this could be a great starting point for something bigger. Great game, thanks!
That's a really catchy tune!
I see potential in this one. For now it does not feel challenging enough to keep my attention that long, making it less fun for me than I expected. The music and graphics fit really well with the gameplay, it sets the mood pretty nice. The controls felt smooth and satisfying.
The menu was done very clever, by going down to start the game. Also, the backstory is silly and fun
Good gameplay with good music and graphics. Congratulations, it's fun!
The game is broken. You can only purchase health in shop, and you can't get pizza.
Would be nice to give the player a "you win!" condition, especially since getting money for the pizza is the whole point of this journey. Could also make for an interesting decision, whether to keep racking up the gold at the risk of losing the game, or to get some expensive health or win with the score you have.
Another potential way to make the game more interesting would be getting a clear bonus for collecting all money and getting rid of all enemies (increasing with depth, e.g. 10 gold for each 100 meters), though admittedly this one can get tricky when a small movement can get you to the other side when you aim for the laser enemy.
Other than that, the game played, looked and sounded pretty nicely. ^^
After a certain point the difficulty stops increasing, which is kind of an anticlimax. I think either the difficulty should ramp up for much longer or there should be a win condition of some sort.
That said, hitting the gold bricks in this is so addicting I ended up playing for way too long anyway:

Very fun game! I love the graphics, looks very polished, the sound design is very good and the increasing difficulty is just right, good job!
Really nice game. Simple but fun gameplay and great visuals. Good work!
