@mruniverse Thanks, yes the character controls is not easy because it's not really what I wanted to do basic ...
For the choice of the design I wanted something minimalist for the colors but I wanted to add some contrast in the background but I had a lack of time to do it well.
@nick-rafalski Thank you, the control of the characters is not really finished. I wanted at first to have a more fluid and dynamic rendering with a gelatinous aspet (a bit like a the end is night). Unfortunately a lot of research with displacement and tessellation on UE4 I have not managed to have the desired rendering, which reduces the quality of controls.
@sigton This is what was originally planned but I still have a lot to learn, hence the interest of the jams for me always try new things and learn errors :) Thank you
@budgiem2 The blue is the green had more use fure to measure but it is felt by the lack of levels ...
The blue had to have the possibility of climbing some passages vertically, while the green had to weight down platforms ... Unfortunately I did not set up these other levels, I had prefer to go out some functional things that take the risk of blocking the player :)
@kramdar Yes others levels would have been cool especially since I had others ideas and characteristics of each characters.
The movement is strongly linked to the fact that I have not managed to make the jelly that should have been more dynamic.
Regarding the death counter it was well planned initially but I had a bug with my GameInstance which reset between levels change which makes no sense because precisely it should allow me to store the values of the variables between the levels.
I prefer to remove it at the end but it was in the code.Thank you for your feedback

Some capricious hitbox at times, but overall everything went very well ... Nice
I also like the progression of difficulties more one advance in the levels
the sound is much too loud but everything works, even if not very convinced of the use of the theme

Regarding luminosity we know that from one configuration to another it can be different. The ideal would have been to add a menu to manage it but as we wanted a webexport we have limited a lot of things...
Anonymous For the fact not restarting the game once on the gameover it's my fault. I completely forgot to add a "menu button" or "restart game", I put it on the screen of victory but not the one of defeat. which is the most important because the game is not easy. ..

@gimblll Regarding the collisions when I concept the level my goal was to block the passage slightly so that when the timer scrolls, it add a pressure to the player.
But it lacks playtest which would have allowed me feedback of this during the level design. it's a mistake that I will not do it again :)

A negative point, money add life but I feel it would have been better to unlock the Returntime or double jump and other skill etc in exchange for blood/life... after some collision concerns but overall it is a good project ...

@anonymous Yes, I am French thereby we use the AZERTY keyboard but after many jams a thing often come back people want use different binding they want. So I added the possibility to bind your own keys as you wish.

The time is very difficult to equilibre because as the placement of collectibles and torch are random it is possible that some room is more limited on the timer than others ...

There's almost a good project behind that ! To make a real project out of jam, it does not miss much.
Personally i will have added a small autofire (activate/deactivate ) and instead of recup ship part or shield. It is 3 differents ammunitions (blue, yellow, green) and that each bullet corresponds to a type of enemmie you want destroy and to make the switch on it.
Because I just needed to always stay on the repair of the ship until the boss and kill it very easily.
So, there's a good idea behind. After I know very well that resume the project of jam is not necessarily what is done often. But for once you have a little thing to do with ! Well Done

The theme is there for sure, and it's very easy to understand. We even find ourselves in the games to start over several times to achieve a bigger score. However, it happened to me not to play a turn because a combo had already taken place.
The gameplay mechanic works perfectly, so I regret the graphics a bit, which if they had been more improved, it would have been a real plus.

The web version doesn't work properly on LD but works on itchio and I had a few crashes. The idea is good, I like card games, but I find that it lacks a bit of explanation. Maybe a project to continue post jam to give it a little polish

With a little more time there would have been the possibility of changing the quality of the rolls, namely no more green, blue or yellow cards etc... the same for the type, I had planned to be able to play more shield or weapon with a card that did damage equal to the current shield and reset it to zero :)

On the keyboard, it's quite complicated to use, however once you have the controller in hand it's much more pleasant, it fits very well with the theme. Maybe the block appears a little too quickly
The only thing I regret is not having more time to think about the combinations, I would have seen it more tactical, but it's a very nice achievement

The spawn animation is very cool, the environment is fine, and a lot of work has been done on the shooting skill. However, the lack of button effects when selecting an upgrade is strange; it doesn't feel like you're clicking, hovers are missing, etc.
As for the theme, it's there, but I would have liked to see a little reminder of the current Depth, and to say, "Hey, at Depth 10, there's a boss, etc.," that we're given an in-game reminder of the depth level.

@lcstark Collisions were the biggest challenge I faced during development, especially ensuring each wagon was independent. The problem was that at the rear of the last wagon, there's a collision box dedicated to detecting the train type for stopping, and this box extends beyond the 3D mesh. Thanks to you

The game lacks a clear objective marker, like when I start a match and don't know where to go or if I need to move, etc. A small event or a specific point I need to reach would have been a plus. Also, most of the health I lose happens when I can't see enemies, when the sonar isn't working, so there's no way to dodge them.

Great entry, the theme is well executed. However, I would have preferred a round-based system, where the player can only perform a few actions per turn, such as scanning, protecting themselves, placing relays to speed up scanning, etc... there are plenty of potential ideas, well done!

The art direction is really clean, the sound is cool, but I find it's more of an experience than gameplay.
You're not the first to use the Signal theme as an execution input, but for the moment it's the best implemented, even though I haven't gone beyond level 8 ^^

There's clearly a memory leak; after a few seconds of use, my RAM usage drops from 220MB to 3GB.
