Cosmic Chaos by Jiri_One 2023-10-03T00:07:55Z

Great polish and mechanics, love the upgrade system. Really impressive for 48 hours! Controls I felt were a little tricky, I would have loved to see a version of this game were I can move wasd and the ship shoots to mouse click. I know it would make fighting these enemies trivial, so maybe it wouldn't have worked, either way great jam!

roadtrip by caryoscelus 2023-10-04T00:25:54Z

its a relaxing concept, but I'm not sure I understand the gameplay? I was curious if there were any objectives or challenges? Its definitely a neat idea, and has a cozy vibe for sure

Yarn by manabreak 2023-10-03T12:26:17Z

Love the art, I'm always a sucker for that bright day, green grass, classic almost snes look. I got stuck a few times early on because I relied on the area you control as a platform, but after I stopped doing I was good. I wonder if the game could work with wasd to move and arrow keys to move the box at the same time? could be interesting. OH and I was super curious, did you write this song in the 48 hours? if so congrats for sure, I always put off music until the very last and its super rushed complete.png

Warehouse Keeper by tanis 2023-10-07T14:44:04Z

Great stuff, I've played through a few of these box pushing type games, this is a solid one. I like that you kept it somewhat simple! also great job on the audio, it added character to hear the voice when doing actions, and the song was a great fit! My only piece of constructive criticism I didn't see anyone mention yet, I think bringing the camera in might help tighten the overall look. I'm not sure if it was the same art/model, but the title screen looked beautiful, but then in game we were a little more zoomed out than I think it had to be. Just a suggestion though! finished.png

Terminal Noise by fusionnist 2023-10-07T15:34:42Z

Super cool job with this, for time reasons I have to stop for now, level 17. But the biggest accomplishment by far in my opinion is making an audience genuinely care when faced with challenge. I always say with game jams its particularly difficult because we have so many games to try and the buy in is 0$ so its easy to walk away. whenever I push a mechanic's difficulty I hear that people will stop at the first sign of failure. I want to come back to your intro again at one point, because it a fantastic example of letting a player explore and feel attached to the system. Great job!

Tabletrack Turbulence by Phlip45 2023-10-11T00:42:30Z

The controls are definitely tricky, but its a super unique game in the jam. Congrats on the submission!

Tabletrack Turbulence by Phlip45 2023-10-12T15:24:25Z

@phlip45 An idea that might have helped a little (if you had time that is), adding a different mouse icon when you're clicking and actively able to impact the disk. After getting used to it I was imagining that the mouse was a solid object when I was holding click and moving fast enough. Just an idea though, I might be super off on that!

@phlip45 oh yeah I know all too well about the "live and learn" of game dev haha

Profits in Proportion by don.shinski 2023-10-02T23:55:09Z

This is a really interesting concept, at first I was just trying to paint it as best as possible, but eventually I realized the live money counter. I think it made me draw much worse, but better fit the scoring. Definitely unique idea! great job :)

Cutscene made me super happy, but I could not figure it out, the swap 1,2 or 2,3 had me ultra confused.

Transilvaniawkward by Mastoast 2023-10-10T11:32:10Z

This was a perfect jam for me start to finish, You really nailed the theme, the music, and kept the scope perfect. Also great job ramping up the challenge. I can't say it enough, I really liked this one <3

Corridor Duels by nyxkn 2023-10-03T12:52:03Z

This feels like a perfect scope for a 48 hour jam, great job figuring out a mechanic and ramping up difficulty! I really like the simple art too, it compliments the game well. I did get stuck on the last level, the control bug you mentioned came up a few times, but eventually I got through with out the bug happening. Great Job! corridor Duels.png

Auto-Pilot by woona 2023-10-08T12:08:47Z

Great job! I had a lot of fun with this, makes me want to step out of my comfort zone and try similar things. It maybe took me a couple attempts to get the hang of what works and what doesn't, but after that I beat it and really enjoyed it :) Hard to say what you could improve on with only having 48 hours, but something that I really enjoy from these types of games is "synergy". Having ships that work well together and also ones that don't. But like I said 48 hours is such a small time frame, you did fantastic!

I love the clean look and an overall really complete submission. Really solid submission!

Harborea by googlypoo 2023-10-02T23:42:12Z

Great polish especially for 48 hours, such a peaceful and relaxing game! Maybe it was because I was getting better as the game went but for me the hardest levels were around 2 or 3, then I had a easy time for the final 2. Great job :D

Limited Space by Savidiy 2023-10-02T23:08:15Z

cool perspective! I love that feeling later when it started to get a little chaotic, my only slight critic was chasing down the smaller asteroids near the end of the round was sometimes hard to find. Overall I really enjoyed the game play especially when fighting the turrets. Great jam!

The Bullet Box by MonsieurDuck 2023-10-08T12:24:55Z

Pretty cool idea, definitely fits the theme of limited space!

Clearing space by Sevansevan 2023-10-02T00:59:46Z

Nice job, I've these types of puzzle games in the past and I really appreciated here the sort of sandbox element you added here! great stuff :)

@diego-teran Thank you so much, yeah it was a rough 48 hours, not a lot of sleep! I agree about the floatiness, so frustrating because its just a stat I play with and left it a little more on the float side, literally a 2 second adjustment. As for moving after a snap, it does reset velocity to zero. Initially I had it sort of pause you for a second, and it felt alright, but when I changed it to giving you control to move immediately for me the game totally clicked. So I guess just player preference or maybe if I more slowly introduced some of those tighter platforms. Thank you so much for the feedback and playing!

@supergamersgames Thank you! yeah I know it was a little slippery, its such an easy adjustment too, I just must have got used to it early and didn't have time to let someone test it. As for the audio, yeah 48 hours is rough, it was my last hour or so, just bringing up ableton to put together something and the sound effect was just a synth playing a couple notes in the same key as the background track. Thanks for the feed back!

@goddzeproject Thank you so much! I really appreciate that it means a lot <3

@jiri-one Thank you, said this in previous comments, but super agree about it being a little too floaty! such a simple fix too D:
