A nice game. I liked the graphics, would've really benefited from more sound effects though.

A nice game. I liked the graphics, would've really benefited from more sound effects though.
A fun little game, difficulty starts a bit challenging but once you get a few upgrades it becomes way too easy, letting the stats go up instead of down just turns it into a brain-dead waiting game. Graphics are nice, music gets a bit repetitive. Numbers would need some tweaking(more tanks increase storage way too much). Overall a nice effort.
Beautiful art and music.
Nice game but it would've been nice with more immediate results after shooting enemies
A fun little game, a bit fast pace for my taste. I didn't get much use out of the shooting as I just dodged all the enemies. The music was also nice.
Good art, The gameplay is simple but does what it sets out to do. The goal can be achieved quickly enough not to outstay it's welcom.
The altering gravity is a really interesting concept that could fir perfectly in a puzzle game. The size of the player hitbox made the platforming kinda frustrating tho.
Loved the gameplay and the graphics are cute(although they scaled up blurry).

Cute, it's simple but it has a certain charm to it. The movement felt a bit slow when holding down a key for my liking. Overall a fun little game.
Love it, a nice little puzzle game I could easily see being expanded into a full game.
A solid core of a game, what brings it down for me is mostly the rarity of enemies, felt like I killed three of them(getting mostly engines) and then I was just alone with the bosses. It didn't really give much chance to experiment with upgrades. A few more enemies and a radar/minimap could've done a lot I think. Screen also felt very cramped, a bit more zoomed out during fights would've been nice. Overall a game I can really see myself enjoying if expanded.
The game looks great, although I didn't much like the shaking effect. The game felt a bit lacking in goals, and there seemed little to no incentive to pick up additional party members. If it were to be fleshed out I still think it could be a fun experience.
I liked the music, overall it was pretty good. Gameplay could be expanded a bit, like adding scaling prices and such.
The atmosphere was pretty good, really nice look and nice background music.
Fun gameplay, could use a bit more variety in enemies.
Really liked the graphics, music was nice too. Biggest problem was the rounding of money, especially frustrating when I had precisely 0.5 dollars yet it didn't let me buy.
A nice little story, with a nice tactical battle system.
Love it, hard to master gameplay, rocket and cat
I like the concept, even if a bit rough around the edges. Feels a bit zoomed in imo, and the crossroads really take you out of the action.
This is great, graphics music and gameplay. Only a few minor blemishes(biggest one being clicking not being detected sometimes), really great work!
Well done base defence game! An expanded version could really do with more upgrade diversity.
Very well done! I enjoy the classic 2.5d shooter(even if I have trouble getting used to the controls).
fun way to show some basic programming, liked the colour theme.
Graphics are great, some stats could use some explanation. Loved the cute little creatures!
Nice idea, the biggest problem i had was the lack of feedback, like a screenshake or something when you get hit would go a long way in improving the feel of it.
An interesting mechanic, even if it does need some fine tuning. The difficulty could've been a tad higher(higher speed, more obstacles, etc). Looks great.
The graphics look good in isolation(barring all the errors like the green pixels in the animation, see-through terrain and such), but they fail to come together into a cohesive whole. Biggest issue is varying pixel sizes(and that blurry statue etc). My thoughts on the combat have already been stated by others, but I did find it an interesting concept. Most of my issues probably comes down to inexperience with your tools, which is great as they will disappear as you just keep doing what you're doing. You guys did a great job, hope you return for the next one!
Great concept for a puzzle/memory game
This is a really strong entry, good work! I enjoyed the puzzle of moving into place before the level arrives, although I didn't like how you just need to get lucky on the first rotation, a preview of where the gem's gonna end up would've been a welcome addition. It's short, would've gladly played a few more levels. The art is also great.
I like it, I really like billboarded trees, was fun to wander around and look at the terrain. The gameplay was a bit easy, never managed to die. There was a great lack of rocks for me. The event text was halfway offscreen. I finished off by climbing a mountain and looking out on the world.
Great work!
Graphics and audio were good. The weapons feelt nice(even if the shotgun(?) felt useless compared to the machine gun). It felt really bad to get stuck on walls while running around tho.
Utopia in 79 years. After a few tries I got the hang of it, and then it was a cakewalk. I love the retro feeling, I like the town building, the sound effects get a bit grating after a while when you get attacked. The biggest problem is the upgrade system, it doesn't scale well(for food production especially). I ended up with giant tracts of tier one pastures surrounded by a double barrack wall. A one click tool (like demolish) for upgrades would've come in handy. Overall well done!
A fun quick magic game, I like teleporting, and I killed the gator! There could've been more ui to display cooldowns, orbs collected and hp. My biggest problem was that I was irrationally disappointed by the orbs all being the same colour :p
I also ran into a bug, muting didn't mute sound effects after a few seconds.
I like it, a fun atmospheric boat sim, even if a bit slow paced for my personal taste. Good work!
I like the gameplay loop, even if I feel it needs some additional element to avoid getting too boring after a while. I also felt the camera was doing its best to give me seasickness :/
The core gameplay loop works for a while, but it soon wears thin without any variety(ex. powerups). I've got to admit I'm not personally a big fan of the colour switch mechanic, maybe that would've been improved with more of an indication of when a switch is happening. Good work anyways!
Movement felt clunky and I think it would've worked better as a freeview rts rather than using a player controlled character. The pathfinding had some issues. The biggest personally problem was just how slow it was, eventually you just get too big to fail and then it's just a waiting game with little to do after all the trees are gone. Otherwise I really enjoyed it, I like the retro graphics. great work!
I like it, graphics look good, platforms stand out well.Although I didn't really like the colour choice of the characters outline. I like the seasonal plants and puzzles.
@haotian-chen I'm not totally sure, sorry, could be brightness or just the contrast in general
A fun idea, with some small hiccups. I enjoyed the concept and gameplay, sound was also good, the graphics were ok. I think the not starting til you press space makes the game too easy on some levels, and the limited viability turns other into just guessing. I'd either have a full view of the board at the start with harder levels or an instant start once you get into the level. Other than that I'd say it's a real solid entry
A fun concept. Game Looks great but I found it really hard to judge height and I'd much have preferred if the camera didn't rotate.
@mikoziq Forgot to enable vsync on first upload so I uploaded the WindowsB with it enabled.
Fun little puzzle game, the puzzles weren't too hard, but still got a bit tricky at times, the sound and art work well together with the gameplay and give a nice atmosphere.
The art looks nice, the bird is cute. The music while nice got a bit grating after a few minutes. My cat enjoyed watching the gif.
I like the core mechanic, feels like a fun casual mobile game. The art is good/serviceable even if a lot of assets feel mismatched. My main problem is how much it feels like a casual mobile game, the ui and stuff it feels like I'm about to be ambushed by a microtransaction window at any moment . The game also felt kinda sluggish for my tastes, could've done with twice as fast gamespeed.
I love it, cool retro art style with some fun albeit simple gameplay. If there's anything to comment on it's that the score for deliveries didn't seem worth it for the most part, and the a bit wonky perspective on the player box kept throwing me of.
In firefox(102.10.0esr on linux) I got this error:
Error The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
(I got it working in chromium tho so make of that what you will)
I like the retro vibes, but the sprites didn't really fit the world imo, The shatter effect was cool tho.
Very well polished, I especially like the graphics.
A cool puzzle concept, but the movement feels a bit slow and clunky.
An interesting idea, but I don't think the execution really works. It doesn't feel great getting docked points for putting a domestic abuser or something in the bad graveyard because they donated to charity that one time, suppose you need to rp as a catholic. There was also never any lack of space, and you get penalized working quickly seeing as the timers keep running while you idle. The game looks good tho.
A great entry and a pretty solid breakout iteration. The art looked good but the earth was a bit too stylized I think. There were some gameplay issues, the extra asteroid block essentially felt like a forced lost life. The gravity swirls were cool but they made the last level pretty tedious. With the large play area and relatively flat brick structure I felt you loose some of the fun chaos of other breakout games(my inability to manage 2 balls was probably a big factor). Overall I enjoyed it though.
Stomping cars is fun, stomp stomp!
Feels polished, graphics and sound is good. Although I don't like the mean flying robots, they mostly just feel frustrating to deal with.
A nice lil island builder. Although the lack of depth quickly becomes apparent, I think it could've been easily remedied by giving the different stats more interplay. The graphics and music worked and gave it a cozy vibe, overall a nice entry.
Does what it sets out to do well, even if spelling isn't really my thing.
Starting the game I had trouble making out what was going on, The even emission of the coffin contrasting to the extremely dark body(almost ignoring the light from the flashlight) was disorienting. But after reading the description more clearly and getting my bearings it became way too easy. I found no need to manage flashlight battery, and I found the health loss was way to generous.
Wooo ducks! It's a fun prototype, the one thing I'm really missing is good feedback for hits(shake, particles, flashing, etc...), as it stands you're not sure when you hit somebody or they hit you.
I like it. Very bare-bones, but still fun. The simple style works well and I like the sound. It got a bit tedious and same-y after a couple levels, would've enjoyed if the speed significantly increased the further you got.
It's mostly fun, felt kinda cheap tho that the bar could move faster than the items. And once you get the strategy down it became almost too easy. The graphics and music were also nice.
The presentation is great, and the vibes are cozy. But the gameplay isn't for me, I just find it an an exercise in making things worse with no rhyme or reason other than starting a sawmill empire.
Fun quick cozy game, everything works together nicely and it doesn't outstay its welcome. It was fun guiding the lil boats around. Although I think a more posterized/stepped light circle would have served the artstyle better, the smoothness somewhat clashes with the pixel art.
Great visuals, fun gameplay, fun little tunes, and an amusing story. couldn't get the ball in the big bowl tho :(
I liked it, a fun take on the theme, and the "one game of baseball" structure gives it and a complete story arc, but at the same time, the: [3strike*3out+easy early signs] made the first half of the game a slog to get through.(maybe a few "practice pitches" for teaching the basics could have helped?). Overall one of the better games I've played this jam so far.
I like the idea, the idea can easily be built upon. Nice artstyle.
The execution of the actions felt rather sluggish, and it is really unclear how combat works without any kind of shooting animation for the players basic attack.
Cool concept, nice looking, but it was lacking in clarity, The camera wasn't always showing the best view of the puzzles(ex: 4 colour bridge). And what objects were important wasn't always clear(ex: the box puzzle's lowering wall-elevator). Overall, good job on your first jam.
