Really nice! Loved how the music was done (won't spoil that for others). Great little point&click puzzle game.
Fun little game; liked the sound effects & the dynamite destroying the map :v: best of luck!
This was amazing, really loved how we had more than 2 weapons so we had to choose between them, slightly increasing replayability. Truly a gem, well done!
@doctorturbo Thanks a lot! Was it the linux build? It should be an isolated bug (i.e. retrying should not crash again). If you speak of the first enemy in the game, there's a lot more of the game after that! We'll look into it a bit more and hopefully find the issue, thanks again for playing!
@nikchernyakov Initially it was a bug indeed, we decided to leave it be however as it can lead to interesting plays :smile: Thank you for playing! @phobos001 Thank you so much! 750 is a lot, I think we never even got close to that number :sweat_smile:. Some optimizations are in order, the code isn't the greatest indeed. Nice reference in the pic too xD
@chuchuw We were thinking of adding new sound effects as you get the split shot, for example (chords, or different instruments), but we ran out of time on that one :sweat_smile: Thanks a lot for your feedback! Indeed the game is similar storywise to Nier :)
@sergio1811 Thanks you for playing!
@karanveer 7zip and WinRAR are pretty good at handling archives; regardless, I've uploaded .zip archives on the download site instead of the previous RARs (for the 1.01 version), as I hope they should work. If you need any more help, please let me know! :smile:
@karanveer Glad to know all was well eventually, and thanks for your time! The game is kinda slow-paced at first, a typical playthrough taking between 15 to 30 minutes. A difficulty adjustment & an arcade mode (without the story) would really be good ideas, also new *Beings* as well :smile: Thanks again!
@tinysalad Duly noted, thanks for playing! @alexascher Thank you! Bullet color might be a good thing to add as an option in the next version. @cincerteri Thank you so much! Glad to know you liked it. @f1krazy Thanks! Regarding difficulty, we had feedback saying it was both too hard and too easy/forgiving; a difficulty scale would work wonders on that :smile: As for the chatter, the narrator says something when you make your first upgrade, when you level up first (increase in size) and when you upgrade the resolution once; some extra chatter would increase immersion indeed. Thank you for your feedback!
Good graphics and animations, and an interesting idea. At first I wasn't sure what to do, so I was just killing off everybody before they reached me, and then I realized I should only kill the infected :sweat_smile: The music was kinda funky too; nice work!
Overall fun, understood the concepts and gameplay quickly, and the graphics style is really nice!
Good game, with a nice mood / atmosphere. The graphics and music really contributed to that.
@zesix, thank you! glad you liked the art :smile:
@bobost2, glad to know you liked it! heh, didn't expect anyone to use the cheat engine on it, kinda cool that it works :sweat_smile:
@thecze, indeed, the descriptions for all the buildings could use a little upgrade; thank you for the feedback!
@pusheeneiro, thanks! :smile:
@thecze, MagicaVoxel (free and easy to use with other engines, i.e. Unity)
@noamraz Thank you!
@denis123 thanks :smile:
@lookslikesomething & @chromaphase Thank you!
@mulberg Google Drive was chosen mainly because the project contains art/models/audio as well, and it seems a bit too bloaty for git (we also used Unity Collab instead of git as source control, so it would've been an extra step).
As for the WebGL build, we will attempt one soon :smile:
@ludumdaredevil niice, I see you've used the farm strat :grin: Glad to know you enjoyed it!
@svenerik Indeed, both music variation (intensity increasing the more you play perhaps) and enemy/building variation would add to the experience. Thank you for the feedback!
@jojopalambas Thank you! A difficulty setting would be a good idea, as the game is easy for some (and difficult for others); balancing is something we struggled with and tweaked a lot. The enemies actually have increasing health as time goes on, but farm passive income can outweigh it if enough farms are built early on. Thanks for the feedback! :smile:
@psydack Thank you!
@wheffle Thank you for your kind feedback! Didn't cross our minds to use the farms as walls, clever :grin:
@savvu Thank you for your kind words!
@ondrasej Thanks! We had an initial idea for the player to pick which targets to attack (for a particular tower, in its description screen), but it was scrapped due to time concerns :sweat_smile: thanks again for the feedback!
@jk5000 Thank you! Valid points, pacing is a bit off in the beginning. A difficulty system would really benefit the game :grin: Thanks again for playing!
@cjm Thanks! Repairing buildings isn't possible yet, so it is probably a bug; towers should be placed by clicking on one of the buttons (or pressing the hotkeys 1/2/3) and then placing them on the map. We'll investigate :smile:
@trigueiro Nice! Indeed, slight misbalancing issues on our part; farms are a little OP. Thanks for playing!
@aryanjumani Thank you for the feedback! :smile:
@emperor-eagle Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the difficulty feedback as well!
@max-louis Thank you! Glad you liked it, and indeed, good idea with the bosses! Thanks for playing it on stream as well, it was fun watching the playthrough :grin: Good luck with your game!
@lcstark Thank you for the feedback! Indeed we spent a lot of time polishing the graphics, which led to the gameplay falling a tad short :sweat_smile: Good ideas though, we'll be sure to note them! Thanks again for playing!
Really pretty, and good sound design too!
I agree with the character being a little too big, and the movement a tad floaty. I also found a bug when going to the Options; if you lower the volume, go back to the main menu, and go back in the Options, the sliders are reset to max, but the values aren't, so you can continuously lower the volume :sweat_smile:
Good music though, it creates a nice atmosphere; congrats!
Very good game! The gameplay was really cool and addictive, and it is a game you could speedrun, which makes it really fun to play! Great job!
