wow i liked it a lot, and played a lot! Game is just fun, grafics are so cool, i like them a lot and that they are only 2d makes them even better ^^ The Controlls are intuitive and work very well, thema is also hit with the tight space. Balacing could be imporved but for the 72h a relly good game :)
Good idea and good execution! The combat is a bit unintuitive imo. Some enemies can be destroyed, some not? A health bar would also been useful to see the effects the enemies have. I really like the Audio!

Hi, you cover page seems to be broken, pls fix to make more people click!
I found the controls a little strange, such as the jump that doesn't always respond, and if you walk straight, you sometimes go flying
I also had trouble knowing when I was being attacked by enemies outside my field of vision
Apart from that, it has an interesting style and works well!
A sensitivity control would have been really nice, felt like the slightest twitch of the mouse was enough to send me spinning, made me feel a bit sick. Feels like the fundamentals are there, but there's a lack of feedback, or some of the enemies are broken, not sure which - I couldn't tell if I wasn't damaging them, or if they had unlimited health, or something else. Either way they tanked way more damage than I expected.
Between the framerate being fairly low, and the very high input sensitivity, I struggled to find any of the diamonds (I got one) or to notice the map shrinking to any degree. Given some refining though, and I think it'd be a decent little arcade shooter. I did like having the various ammo types to pick up.
Audio is Fantastic. Very simple and fun idea, would love to see a polished version at a later date with more mechanics. The graphics are also very nice. some particles or a method to see health of enemies ans a color scheme which emphasises and seperates the diamonds and enemies, intead of them blending in would make the game far more fun. Brilliant execution.

I love it, looks like Green Hill zone in sonic. I like the manic nature of the game feel, bouncing and floating. Sometimes shots feel like they have no feedback when they hit enemies.
A strange game with strange enemies, I like it! Every time I clicked to start I wasted a bullet (green pea).

The music was nice, the sound effects a bit loud. After playing a bit I think the best strategy is to just ignore everyone and run around . Good job on building this!

The enemy pictures are just perfect and the game is fun to play. You could fix the bullet-enemy collision sometimes not being detected, and maybe add/lower a/the max velocity limit. Limiting the spawn rate when there are already many enemies would be nice (or somehow embracing it as a game mechanic like "too many enemies on a tile make it disappear"). Ability to set up lures/traps/bombs for the enemies would be fun.
Overall the gameplay is goofy and IMHO many people would like it, possibly even beyond Ludum Dare.
Cool FPS project. I couldn't really understand how the gameplay fits the theme. The jump sound was a bit too loud. The art style was cool and consistent with the entire visual look of the game. The objects I was supposed to grab where a bit hard to find. When my bullets where gone I wasn't able to find any more. Control feels juicy but at the same time it also felt like walking on ice and sometimes my jump input wouldn't register.
Fun game haha. I liked the atmosphere from the music and the happy mood while you're being chased by critters. However, the inertia is a bit unforgiving. Maybe adding a double-jump could save you from those "oh shi-" moments XD But good job!

Fun and cute. Very enjoyable to play, and the graphics look cute. I've had a couple of issues where the bullets don't hit the enemies though. Also, it would have been nice to offer the arrow keys, or at least physical WASD keys mapping for keyboard layouts other than query. Using my AZERTY keyboard, the WASD does not make too much sense.
Other than that, great little entry. GG.

lol i could NOT get the hang of this but loved it anyway, i love how it looked honestly, as simple as it is. nice work!

I really liked the overall vibe, the graphics and music were nice and made me want to jump right into the game. The fast fluid movement was also nice. The big-commit jump was interesting. Sometimes it really worked and created a nice feeling of fluid, powerful movement.
But other times I felt a bit disconnected from myself and out of control. I couldn't tell when I was successfully hitting the enemy, or when they were hitting me. I wanted to look ahead at the enemy, but also wanted to look over where I was jumping to, but also wanted to look down. I was never really able to fully process the information, and often was surprised that I had an enemy chewing on my leg or when I fell into a hole in the ground.
There's a lot of very good potential here and it could be extremely cool. There's just something left to work out about how the perception and movement flows for the player to really capitalize on the strong idea and well-done vibe.
I played a bunch, though, and enjoyed it -- nice work!
Very interesting, kind of reminds me of a game I made for the last ludum dare I entered. Is it possible to change bullets? I was picking up different types of what I assume to be bullets but I couldn't use them. The art is fun, and the movement, while it is a bit janky, is also fun. I think it could be cool with some polish!
I like the retro vibes, but the sprites didn't really fit the world imo, The shatter effect was cool tho.

It's making me dizzy! So that's what we call "fast fps"! I think it's a great idea, but the controls and the lunar jump are quite destabilising. After a fair bit of retrying, I started collecting diamonds and other collectibles. I like the idea of permanent urgency, of pieces of maps collapsing. The graphics are fun, and it's a shame that the enemies are so strong because it's hard to stay in the game for long! (Or maybe I'm just bad :) ) Well done!

the game is quite interesting, it was fun to play, everything was done well, both the controls and the game design itself
