I really loved how the visuals, though simple at first glance, work so well with the great music to immerse you in the game

It’s funny how, sitting there half-asleep at night, that scary face actually gave me a fright!
Great job! Loved everything about it. This concept has a lot of potential for further development.
The atmosphere is tense, the art style is great, and everything blends perfectly with the sound design. The gameplay feels clear and intuitive. The only thing is, the monster didn’t really give me a scare
The visuals are great, the monster is amazing, it's just a shame it's over so quickly!
The walls really press in on you. A total nightmare for anyone with claustrophobia!
Looks really pleasant! The wire physics is amazing. For some reason, those interesting faces reminded me of Neighbors from Hell
Love the aesthetic! It’s pretty simple, but it just feels right to look at
Really cool job, there’s so much potential to expand on this theme! The visual style reminded me of classic arcade machines. Overall, the atmosphere is nice and you nailed the theme perfectly
Everything is really solid. I loved the old noir detective vibe—it really makes you feel like one of them. It’s definitely one of my favorites from the jam so far! For me, a bit more pixel detail would have helped to distinguish the silhouettes better and connect with the characters more. Honestly, it’s such a polished and complete product. It was a pleasure to play!
Great result! Just a little more work and it’ll be ready for release
Best part for me is definitely the visuals. Reminds me of old-school Sega titles and that classic Blade Runner atmosphere
It was really fun and creepy to run around—running away from the monster was genuinely scary! Though, I found the kill animation pretty funny.
I liked the idea, and the execution is really interesting! The top-down graphics are solid too. One thing though-I managed to get myself into a corner and pretty much stayed there until the timer almost ran out. Five TVs rushed me at once, but luckily I had some remote charges left! p.s. Rick Astley is top-tier.
I really liked the environmental art. The flare gun idea is super interesting and definitely has potential for further development. My hand instinctively kept trying to move the mouse and hit Shift! haha
This is exactly what gameplay should be—simple to pick up, but so addictive! I was aiming for 1,000 points, but couldn't get past 750. Great job! Add some cool music and a bit of polish, and you’ve got a solid demo
Cool idea! I actually had a similar one at first, but with different entities and objects on different frequencies. It's scary to play, especially when you scan and realize a monster was right in front of you the whole time.
My favorite part was definitely the monster designs
@itero-proto Looks like you’re pushing the limits in 2D, while I’m focusing on the 3D side of things. To be honest, I’ve started many projects before, but this is the first time I’m actually pushing through to release! Thanks for checking out my portfolio 😉 Honestly, I could never pull off 2D sprites like you do
Could someone please let me know if it's just me? I'm getting an error on two different browsers
@indiepanda It’s working now! Might have been an issue on itch.io's end
Visually, this is one of the nicest games I’ve played in the jam so far, and the robot is super cute! Gameplay-wise, though, I spent most of the time confused about what was supposed to happen or what I was doing wrong. I think it could use a bit more feedback to let the player know what to do and why. I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something complex going on, but I just wasn't getting it. Overall, a very positive experience though!
Send a big shout-out to your artist! The drawing style is so cool.
Love the style, and learning Morse code was a cool touch-might actually come in handy someday! Just curious though: if they have computers, why do they communicate via Morse code? Did I miss a bit of the story?
To be honest, the game had me hooked until the very end. My imagination helped me picture everything that was happening
The visuals really surprised me! I think if you build on this and polish the animations to be a bit smoother, it’ll be awesome. The characters look great. For some reason, it gives me major throwback vibes-felt like I was playing a Flash game from 20 years ago, haha!)
@itero-proto HTML5 port is in progress for Itch.io. Since 4.27.2 lacks native HTML5 support, I'm currently settting up a custom engine source build to handle the web export
@itero-proto https://stormdrillgames.itch.io/delayon The web version is ready
@petr-vejchoda Thanks for the feedback! I've taken that into account and added an Easy Mode to the web version
@sam-gorman Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I had so many ideas for timing mechanics and combos in mind, but time just wasn't on my side. I actually left a few tricks in there on purpose to help players reach the end-let's see who finds them!
@oleksandr-marynenko Thanks for the detailed description! Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce the layout issue on my end, even after trying several different languages. Also, just a quick note: the menu is only available in the desktop version (I’ve added this detail to the game description). The project was built on Unreal Engine 4. Finally, I’ve added a short tutorial to the post-jam version to help players get started!
@pocketdog Thanks for the review! This was my first jam, and it's been a huge learning experience. I just added a small tutorial to the post-jam build
@sam-gorman I added outline colors to show the signal speed. 😊
