very nice game, quite a challenge to manage the total bricks you have, and not smashing them all around

such a wonderful idea! not to mention the pixel art and smooth control, with some well designed level there's really nothing to say other than compliment. eh, well, actually there is one thing, I think I just pass the level before final level with out defeating all yakuzas, is this a bug or it just design this way. but that dose not even counts a downside with such a great gameplay.
while you adding physics i think there should be a preview how that spell it gonna look like. but even with that it is a very impressive game i'll say, creative and very smart use of the topic, and the music is really good. btw are they saying chinese in the music? cuz i cant understand any of it lol
the biggest problem is it really not have enough challenge, 10s seen just too much more than enough for most of the level, and by that I mean it can be a real fun and satisfying game easily! I mean you got nice graphic, nice sounds effect and a decent idea, good job!
I got 30, the line three game always got me. not bad, decent control, balanced difficulties, I think the variety of minigames are still too little though.
game is quite hard actually, fun though. i think you can make a more clear deposit and pawn area, it takes me forever to dunk those gems to dimiri lol.
idk if im doing something wrong but this cat is really hard to pet! my arm is in pain right now! but the game is just too cute to get mad, great art, nice audio, fun to play, l love it!
it fells like legend of zelda at that first time but it is actually more like warioware! this idea is really interesting especially in use the opening narration as the first level. i think you can still add some direction to the goal of the level, I thought I should collect coin instead of going to the gate at the level before dragon. the direction can be like: "hey! listen! practice your spell with those target!" "hey! listen! defeat those thugs!" "hey! listen! go to the boss gate!"
very solid gameplay and idea, the hammer swing animation looks awsome! although i have to say it's kinda tired to keep pressing space key, it'll be real good if i can just hold space key and he keeping swinging hammer. also the collision of hammer seems a little small for me. overall a very fun game
an idea easy to understand and easy to improve, i can see a future rougelike that your weapon changes every 10s, and you have to try to find the best combination in hundreds of weapons. it would be quite playable when every combination can be a new experience.
pretty fancy title screen and neat music. but i have to say the control is really weird, and in the lava phase the best thing is just do nothing for 10s, i think it might be nice to there are something that can only get during the lava phase

I think I'm having a bug that is I make a wrong burger the order dose not disappear so I cannot make the next burger. overall it is a very nice game, good graphic, music, balanced difficulty.

I like the design that the save point is keep changing. I think it would better you show where it's going to change more clear. maybe add a line to connect both positiona?

at first i thought it was too easy, but when they stat to chasing me... solid gameplay, solid idea, definitely a nice game.
your art style is awesome! I love it soooo much! it reminds me some Square Enix game and Voice of Cards. but I have to say the gameplay is too simple, talking with the ghosts are fun but without any combat or puzzle it's just a walking simulator (with really good art) and the timer seems useless (I really like the idea using stars as timer though). still i kinda understand that such wonderful art like this must take times and three days might not be enough.

one question guys, can i put a new version that i did some debug? and i made a chinese version, is it breaking any rules for uploding those? i mean the submission was ended but i saw other people having some fixed version. just wonder.

@alex-de-la-cour you are definitely correct, I actually didn’t even know what jump buffer and coyote time is! I checked them after read you comment and realized that is what I’m looking for all the time when i feel weird when testing my levels and try if I can make jump smoother (eventually I can not). I’ll definitely adding them for my next game, your comment helps me a real lot.

Yeah my friend reported that be too hard as well, the interesting thing is I actually didn’t feel it was that hard when I was testing it, but after he reported that and I try again myself I found it is much harder than I remembered. So yeah you are correct about it and I’ll definitely change it after rating session.
wow, did i just suddenly got 6 comment!? thanks all for liking my game!! and @bluesand sadly i do not have plan to really continue developing, i'm putting all my energy on a long-term project which is a metroidvania game. but i did have plan to make some improvement, including adding more detail art, a little redesign on some level that is harder than it should be (the two leaves jump and another one in the hidden level), also i want to complete the narration as i really wanted at the first time i come up with the idea of this game.
@oakhardt you mean the final jump of the hidden level(three ice then two petals) or normal level3(only one ice)? humm that was weird. but there sure be some bugs that I do not understand as well lol, i am still very bad at programming after all. but i'll definitely check it!

I think I fixed the problem that it can only play in debug mode. anyway, there definitely gonna be a big upgrade after rating season.

@lincolnsalles that is a interesting report, the save system should work when im testing it. I already fixed a lot of problem, I’ll make sure the save system work and maybe add a load function to the menu before i upload new version. Thanks for reporting that!
yup, we're finally here, a game that kills baby. I really like your art and animation, adding more contents will make it a very fun game, and it is already a pretty good game for now, well done!

Last night my roommate's clock rings about 20 time makes me cant sleep, and today you give me this, well done Ludum Dare. A solid platform jumping, I think you can add something that makes it more of a clock theme, like, ummm, a ring ability to wake something up and the thing is two different platform in wake and sleep form?
hahaa, I know there must be someone got the same season idea with me! a fellow platform jump with season change theme! yours seems really good consider it's in compo, I dont think i can even finish mine in 48 hours. you got really nice pixel art, some nice level design, and music that i wish i can have too.
I have a suggestion that you can make a "waiting" key that speed up the game so you do not have to wait half a minutes if you miss a jump. that's what i did when i to make "10s a season" as well, but i changed to "10s a whole year" because i want to make my jump level more continuously.

we got the same idea about season changing! and the most interesting part is we made whole different type of game. real nice work, lovely are and good music, fun to play. ill say the carrot is not that useful lol, apple and pumpkin makes a perfect circle that keeps you busy the whole year.
keep going! fellow first time developer! you have a nice potential of pixel art, adding more things falling down might improve the game a lot, for example add some smaller meteor rain every 10s but in different timing. can also make the slime move faster so he can handle more danger. add a timer bar to show when the dangers are comming is also good i think

lovely art, decent gameplay. though i fount the rift can spawn just right at a fairy's face and I have no time to respond, this can be a little frustrating. and the end, yeah, didnt see that comming, but, well, yeah, why did i not surprised lol
well, at first i thought the game was kind of unpolished, tons of detail can be improved, than i starting to impressed by how much it is complete as a game. a story, different enemies, crafting, even a hidden reward! although i still think there are lots of detail you can improve, such as it is hard to find normal nut in middle to late game, and the farming lands are to few and separated, but it is actually a good side! i mean, hey, there are a lot of details you can improve to make it even better! I'm glad i play it through, one of the best i played so far.

@witchgf yeah it still has some crash problem, i also notice it after submission, just restart it should be fine. and, i did want to do more guide for the game actually, but turns out I dont have enough time. there are a lot of thing i want to do but didnt due to lack of time, more enemies, some decorations on the map, more chatting with your sword, a short story maybe. well, that's another fun part in LDJ.
@john-wuller when I talk with my friend(no game developing experience) about coyote time he was surprised that it exist and think it should not be exist for most of the game lol, so i did makes it shorter than i was planning to...
@diego-teran i set attack to be "release button" to trigger (I remember it is because i feel it be easier to add a charge attack), think that's the delay comes from. it's the first time i try to add combat, and my long-term project is gonna include a lot of combat, the more problem i found, the better! Thanks a lot!

@koboldskeep I always cant control myself to give player something really hard at the end lol. I'll try not next time. and actually, there are not gameover, when you die you just get back to the tree with 3 health, so, try to jump to one side and kill one or two, then die, get back, kill few more. yeah, that is what i thought when i feel it was too hard myself, yes, i know it sounds silly.

very lovely art and fun gameplay, love it a lot. but i actually stuck at the level that you first get projectile rune. the problem is Ernest dose not stop when i press down or up, not sure if it was intended.
ohhhhh so you have to stand in front of him, that make sense. i try again and finish the game! (that level is still pretty hard though, even harder than the final level for me) A real nice work, still I feel Ernest move a little to fast for me to check what come next and set up rune, maybe a overview of the whole map before level start will be good? overall, wonderful job!
masterpiece, simply masterpiece, I would like very much to see it make into a full game. very creative idea and challenging to play, feels really good to make the right strategy. I beat the game after about 5 attempt, and every time I lose I want to start a new game immediately. the art is very impressive as well. a few suggestions: 1: there might be too much informations on the screen (like the light and dark in percentage), I dont feel they are necessary and would make the screen much cleaner without them. 2: some trees are a little useless, I feel I should only give energy to the main tree and the seed tree. if i dont have enough health, I can just collect them from those auto spawn one. may be you can make other trees simmillar to the energy tree that can be harvest over time, and reduce or even remove auto spawn. Again, I really love your game! I hope I can play the full game one day!
good art! and quite hard, some traps are hard to see. control and collision could have a little improvement
love the art! the game is about trying in my view, to find with mushroom can extend current poison. so maybe a mushroom index that record ever mushroom you've eaten can be good? again, I have to say the dying animation is sooooooo good

great character design gameplay was fun but i think it's a little easy when Lacti was really op, and kinda lack of change each level. unlocking new characters each level rather then just give all of then at the beginning might be good? anyway, a really good game overall

i've seen some interesting poker game that combine all kinds of card together and your game is totally as much interesting as others.
i was still not completely understand how exactly everything work at the boss fight but i can say the design was quite something in the draw death card game. it combined very well with other mechanics because if you want to give you opponent death card and dont draw it yourself, you want have less card on your hand and give you opponent more and that's why you want to shed and why uno cards are good.

@scottmakesgames thanks for the tips! i did actually feel that problem as well when i was testing, and my solution (for some reason i didnt do(laziness perhaps)) was simply make those platforms take longer to fall. your solution work with coyote time was actually better i think. anyway ,thank you for like my game!
@ben-parisi i made it too hard again? damn... I always want to make combinations of all mechanics and it always turns out to be quite hard.
@ismael-rodriguez yeah that is one of the problem i always thinking about when i made the game. i really want a clear way to show player what power you gets limited, but i just can figure out a good enough solution.

I set coyote time to 0.1s which i think was normal though, seems Celeste-like game do need a little more of coyote time?
i actually plan to make it work with controller at first, but i didnt have time to do it since i never try that before. pretty sure ill do it on next jam though.
@bredera @siberpunk01 @mooptychunk well that's super wired, i've seen this problem been mentioned a lot but it just, i never met it myself so i dont even know where to start.
can you guys describe what happened? sometime nothing happened when you press SPACE on the wall? oh, btw you have to keep pressing move key to do that. like, if the wall is on your right, you have to keep pressing D and than press jump to do wall climb. i dont know if that's what happened but that's the only thing i can think of.
@mooptychunk yeah i kinda know what's happened. think this way, by holding A or D you can stick on the wall, and than you can press space to jump. so it's not pressing D and space at same time, it's holding A or D, than press jump multiple time. i did that cause i dont want player to stick on the wall by just approach them.
seems i have to work more on control logic. and i shouldnt show the sliding animation while player is not actually sliding. more improvement, nice.
@tschonni have you try holding D? Or there is another problem i didnt know…

the double jump problem might have something doing with those falling platform, they fall faster than i thought, so probably when you press jump you are already on air, not sure though.

the wall climb problem almost drives me crazy, i dont know what is actually going wrong!
i have to ask again did you press direction key (A or D) during wall climbing? if no, try do it, and if that work ill feel better because it just some control logic problem. but if yes you did, i, just dont know what to start with. i never met this problem myself, not even my platformer noob cousin. it just so weird
got pretty good of almost everything but i think it's really lack of contents. mechanics were good, graphic was ok, music was good, i'd really like to play more level.

i really like what you did with the gravity and the background looks fantastic
character movement feels really strange, but it's good that by using the power you immediately stop the character. it's quite hard and esc fly very unpredictable in some level. i like the idea that you die by squeeze cause the theme is limited space. it's pretty fun overall!

this is masterpiece, best i've played so far. no need a lot of introduction, just move around and you can find how the game work, and amazed. it just, so good.
nice game, puzzle design are pretty good, graphic looks decent as well since tiredness problem was already mention, adding description of each tile would make more clear for players. i spent a few try to figure out what the mushroom can do (or i somehow miss the description?). overall a really good one, i enjoy playing it!
this is much more fun than i thought it would be at the beginning. smooth control, nice pixel art, reasonable difficulty all makes it extremely fun to play. one of the best i've played so far
