Really enjoyable movement system. Definitely an innovative solution.

Really enjoyable movement system. Definitely an innovative solution.
Great graphics and sound. The roaches are quite off-putting, didn't really like that fact. Double-punching was fun .
A bit too difficult. Would benefit from some form of introduction on how to maneuver properly. It's funny when you see that your shadow is just a cube. :D
I found the angle of the gameplay a bit confusing. Aiming correctly is very difficult when I can't see properly. Otherwise, the music perks seemed pretty cool. I liked switching to slow motion after boosting up the ramp. Music is great.
Not sure how I was supposed to lose? I was catching fish and that's it, didn't see them decrease (maybe i stopped too soon?) Cool sounds and the graphics. Really got me going when I was trying to catch the faster fishies.
Cool delay between when the boss appears and before it actually starts shooting. Gives a cool "oh fuck" feeling once you push past the starting rounds.
Feels very polished and great. Like a complete release if it had some different weapons or something. I think this perfectly captures what was intended with the game and could be a mini-release. Bravo. Thanks for sharing! the weapon firing is also very satisfying. The infinite barrage of bullets reduces the penalty when you aim incorrectly.
Cool idea. Very fun to read through!
Physics were putting me off a bit. Didn't quite catch when i would clip through the drawing and when i would stand on it. Got to 120 score in the end. Very fun and I have no idea how i would make this myself. Kudos
@darandin
I didn't think of an cool way to have the guy defend himself as he's 'paralyzed with fear' so I had him simply sit down and weep, otherwise I would've turned this into some kind of doom-like zombie killer game.
There's a lightning bolt that hits every once in a while which supposed to help the player but right now I made the game this difficult just to have the game-loop much shorter so that it doesn't become too easy/boring.
Thank you very much for the review! :v:
@diccuric-sigeon
All you can do is open crates, pick up planks and fix up the shelter. You can't actually 'survive' as the dead will get you sooner or later.
Really cool graphics. Enjoyed the 'bonk' sound when hitting something while driving. Overall felt pretty nicely made aside from clearer instructions on what's supposed to be happening. Didn't figure out that i have to enter the truck immediately.
Hard to deduce what's supposed to be done here. Not really sure if i played the game right but I immediately died on year one. Graphics look cool though :v:
Took a while to get used to the controls, but it was really fun to try to get it into position to grab the trash. And also I got lost when trying to deliver the trash back to the dumpster. Loved the backing up sounds!
What a fine game! Really enjoyed the playthrough even though after 5mins on the second level i decided to end myself because it got a bit too repetitive, but that's okay. It's the longest game I've played so far and enjoyed all of it. Really liked the main skeleton character!
what an interesting idea. The art looks great. Really good usage of the free space for text info, i like how it's positioned to create this sort of a form that looks like it's part of the map. This is much cooler than simply having it stare at the user. Will try to use something like that for my own game next time!
2:20 was the best for me. Damn. Really baited me with the highscore post :v:
Interesting game, i wish the screen was a bit bigger to have more space to move
The game fails to load for me.
Unable to parse Build/escaper.framework.js.br! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header "Content-Encoding: br" present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug.
Was the build with incorrect settings? Does it work for others?
I was playing on Microsoft Edge and the game was lagging really bad. What's the biggest cause of that in this game? Doesn't look like there's a lot going on that could kill the CPU aside from the fact that other cars are probably AI or some sort.
Otherwise this game seems pretty neat. Finished a couple of races but get to experience killing someone unfortunately. Really cool idea to place statistics inside the billboards though it took a while to realize they were there.
Really well made! Enjoyed the fact that there's 10ish different mini-games. Really fun. Managed to catch a candle not on the cake, but on the plate though :v:
Couldn't get more than 20 points. What's the optimal strategy here I wonder? I think it would be easier to plan ahead if there was an outline of the object I'm about to place as I assume they have different weights.
Really cool cell shading going on. Enjoyed the graphics. The one thing that got was a bit frustrating is how long the timer seemed to be and since not much was changing it became quite slow.
Otherwise seems like a cool game and a really interesting idea, kudos and thanks for uploading!
This is the best one for me. Seemed really 'complete'. Wanted to play a bit more and 'only' won 6 times trying to get as powerful laser as possible to one-shot all the asteroids.
Hitboxes seem very unforgiving. Otherwise the game seems really polished.
Interesting idea. Simple controls and seemed quite responsive. Sounds and art looked good. What is the rolling ball thing called?
Didn't really understand the gameplay, but the idea was quite interesting and fits the theme.
I took 44s to land and then the game mocked me. I thought I did pretty well. Reminds me of why I hate birds though. Really funny concept.
Seems like a properly polished game! Really enjoyed it. Slightly annoying that the car keeps correcting itself after a turn, it was slightly difficult to get a hang of that.
Additionally, a simple race against the clock without any victory condition seems to be the main theme that people go for.
Cool art and an interesting game.
>Eeeh, I didn’t understand anything…
@mimusangel Which parts are confusing? Does the description mislead you somehow?
>Nice entry! It was pretty tough trying to keep the crusher active, so I like that I had to decide to use the gems, but Dmitri not sleeping in time ended my run a couple of times lol
@maxr00 Thanks for playing! I'm glad you got to experience that particular feature .
I hope understanding the gameplay wasn't difficult.
>I enjoyed it. Almost felt like I was playing Old School Rune Scape at the Motherlode mine. Theme this time was indeed a bit challenging. Congrats on finishing on time solo!
@zykino I'll make sure to add the golem pet as an expansion point.
>i think you can make a more clear deposit and pawn area, it takes me forever to dunk those gems to dimiri lol.
@haotian-chen Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate that you tried out the game. :v:
>it would be better if the rock mines in the game also have gems on them like in the main menu so maybe the gameplay of prioritizing mining the ones with more gems.
@puhan That's an interesting point, thank you and thanks for the feedback. Main menu was done afterwards and I didn't think of editing the existing rocks tbh, but that would make sense. :)
I'd love it if there'd be a victory condition, cuz right now it seems like it could go forever.
The feeling when you get a combination of two good random effects is pretty awesome, though similarly, two negative random effects feel very destructive and immediately remove the option from concideration
Otherwise a pretty fun game! Good job!
Took me 164 years to complete! Very fun and lovely. I liked the simple indications UI of what to do without the need to explain anything to the player. A really solid submission. Great work :)
The graphics look really nice. I like the idea and it'd be awesome to see more variation with the tasks. Slightly bigger environment would be nice since now the ghosts seem to be always on you. It'd be nice to give the player some sort of victory condition though.
Really loved solving the puzzle with no hints. Brings back the good old days of gaming where you had to figure out everything yourself.

Slightly annoying but very much interesting! It'd be nice to have some kind of goal in mind or did I miss something?
Where are the binaries or the link to itch.io?
Pretty addicting gameplay. Simple and well executed. Really enjoyed the game. :) Untitled.png
Not sure why but it seemed like I wasn't able to stun the witches.
Really great idea and fun implementation. Enjoyed the sounds and drawing directions for the birds. :)
Interesting idea. I'm not sure if it was possible to somehow survive the monsters or kill them in ways other than running.
Turning is slightly too difficult for me. The car gets to top speed pretty quickly but I cant turn the corners as fast. Really creepy faces on the people tho, pretty funny.
Quite the fun and fast experience with this game. It really gets you into a sort of a rythm and the music accompanies that perfectly. Enjoyed the experience. Would be cool to see some powers or complexity being added with progression.

What a cool idea! Love the game, music and the theme of it all!
 lul at how the name can influence the texts
Screenshot 2024-04-27 193051.png
Pretty calm and relaxing. Stands out from the rest of the games. :)
@svenerik Uploaded a Linux version. Could you try to see if that one works? Never built anything for Linux so I can't tell if it's good.
@bassilij Thank you for the comment! Appreciate the feedback
Thanks a lot you all for trying it out  !
I appreciate the feedback a lot!
Thanks for the feedback
I'm definitely thinking of adding different bowls to this that would affect the gameplay, but that was definitely outside of the scope for the gamejam.
Thanks again for the kind reviews and that you took your time to play this
Game looks really polished. Graphics, music and effects fit and the gameplay is pretty interesting. Also the animations are very smooth and fun to look at.
The game soft-locks if you do nothing tho, I was stuck a bit at first because I didn't realize that
The game immediately brought me back to flash times. Music and art match pretty nicely. A nice couple of minutes ramping up and hitting my head up to the ceiling. Really enjoyed trying not to hit the ground at all :D
Screenshot 2024-04-16 183022.png
Great atmosphere in the game and the graphics were wonderful. :)
Would be pretty cool to see a longer game :)
I love games that incorporate music like that. Really nice feel to the whole game and the inputs feel very good.
Screenshot 2024-04-18 at 18.48.12.png
Really enjoyed the mood that was being set. I might've missed something but it seemed that if this might hit a spot where a tune gets to be played as part of a progression. That would be pretty neat, otherwise the idea is pretty solid. I love experimenting with sound like that. :) Screenshot 2024-04-16 202720.png
An interesting puzzle idea.
I love the feeling of progression where you unlock new areas but can always go back. Feeling of advancing the story is just right with that feature :)
What's the secret to the dragon level? Can't seem to figure that one out :|
Screenshot 2024-04-16 185348.png
Ah, thanks. Didn't realize I should be going back between scenes but that should've been obvious given that I'm even able to do that.
It didn't click that I didn't use the fairy at all.
Thanks for the spoiler. It would've felt pretty good if I had solved it myself tho :D
Screenshot 2024-04-16 191505.png
I may be dumb. I wasn't able to summon anything past the obvious recipes tho. Otherwise it seems pretty solid with the mechanics. Great that you allow the health stuff to just get consumed without limiting the health the player has. Probably wasn't intended, but easy mode is appreciated here :D
Screenshot 2024-04-16 190744.png
Smooth gameplay and great graphics. Animations are well made as well. Really enjoyed it. A cute game and seems to be made in the theme mobile games get made :D
Last level was a bit difficult - I wasn't able to find a lot of ghouls and immediately ran into two enemies that just kept following me with their hoardScreenshot 2024-04-16 192422.png
Hey, it was difficult and fun :) Had to gamble my way to level 7 tho :D
tiny-hut.png
Pretty addicting clicker :D
Good job with the look/feel and how addicting the game is. :)
Damn, got to 18k before dying. Didn't realize you can't go back even horizontally. Great experience overall. Good job!
