Hahaha, I love the concept of the game and it's fun to play as well. I think it could benefit from having an intro screen or something before it starts, as it is a bit abrupt.

This was great, I feel like it's a game concept of the song "grandma got run over by a reindeer" and done really well. it's quick and it was fun, nice entry!
What a fun and funny game! It really had the warm cozy feel of an old school game. I loved the dog driving the steamroller lol, and the great sacrifices that must be made for progress. Haha! Thanks for the game! :dog:
what an interesting idea. The art looks great. Really good usage of the free space for text info, i like how it's positioned to create this sort of a form that looks like it's part of the map. This is much cooler than simply having it stare at the user. Will try to use something like that for my own game next time!

the game sadly is having very bad performance for me in the HTML build. Cannot really play and the audio loop is v ery jittering

I've been looking forward to playing this since I saw the main character posted on discord. I was not disappointed, this was great! I especially like the UI and the variety of obstacles.

Granny, nooo!!! Fun and silly game. Good job! I didn't have any performance issues at all.
In this game you play as the embodiment of the gigachad sigma grindset and sacrifice cheerleaders to protect your grandma at all costs.
As well as the hilarious concept, I enjoyed the isometric art style and the way the infinite scrolling for the world works.

Since some of you are experiencing issues with the web build, linux and windows build are now available under the same link! You can find them at the bottom of the game page on itch. It's the same version, no other bugfixes or tweaks were made. @taaada @velvetlobster

Really funny game, with nice music. Graphics do the job, soudn effect too. I have a probelm with the control and the parallax, for me it's really hard to move where I want too with that camera angle, but maybe it's just me :)
This is a great concept and a fun implementation! I'm quite impressed with how you laid out the UI too. Also love the humour and sounds!

Very amusing indeed. Nice isometric visuals with rousing audio. Started by saving granny with only the inanimate objects but soon abandoned all principles in pursuit of a high score.
This game is so much fun!! really the art and music and the level design is very well done so that the humor of the game is the most important and makes it so much fun. Maybe it would improve the character's movement a bit since it moves too fast, or maybe guiding it with the mouse would be much more comfortable. Great great job! xD
This is really fun! Some very funny objects like the baby haha! It was different a great to see a different type of game! The cheerleaders being ran over were a nice touch haha!
Great fun, would have liked for all of the different objects to cause the steamroller to slow down in different ways. Like the roller would spin around when it hits the bananas.
This was fun! Unfortunately I died a couple of times during some good runs due to getting stuck behind objects I just placed. I'm not sure what exactly happened because the game is rather fast-paced and I didn't have much time to figure out if I actually got stuck in all directions. Other than that you did a good job on making a nice little game!
The idea is simple but very well implemented, the art is amazing and the audio gives a very good vibes. You could improve the movement of the character (a bit slower), and it would be great to see blood the roadroller passes over the people.
Weird game Lol. Picking up objects can be a bit hard but I got used to it. I just wish the restart button was different from the pickup button because I'll sometimes restart by accident and don't see my highscore.
Fun game! The idea is very clever and the music is great. I do wish some stuff appeared at the start of the game, as the steamroller is almost at the grandma when stuff starts to spawn.
I got up to 128! This was very funny and absurd. It was fun to see all the different things you could put in the way, the only thing I would change is making things easier to pick up. I would walk around pressing space trying to get the thing only to be too far to the side. Still, it helped keep up the panic feel and made everything feel frantic. You all did a great job!
A simple concept but superb execution. Very neat art style and the music is cool too. The music actually reminds me of Theme Hospital soundtrack.
I was kind of confused that the game just instantly started. I would have appreciated a start screen (just press Space to start) with the controls included.
@nash yeah had it not been a LD project it would have an intro screen :D. Maybe we'll get to do some polishing in the future. I am glad you enjoyed the game.
PS: we ended up putting the controls in the gamescreen to save time.

Very well executed, nice graphics and audio effects. I couldn't get too far though, and would love to see an "easy" slower version :smile:
Interesting idea. It's a bit laggy at times, especially when restarting after a gameover.
