BRIMSTONE by HolyBlackCat 2021-10-10T10:07:51Z

The level design on this is incredible! The art and particle effects are wonderful too and the game feels very polished. The fire spreading mechanic is amazing, especially because it's well integrated in the gameplay!

My only complaint is for the spikes: they are a little hard to see and they kill you even when they're halfway burnt, despite visually looking like they're safe.

Superb entry overall, bravo!

Final Slumber by Flatgub 2021-10-09T14:33:25Z

Amazing psx style and great atmosphere! It's only missing a creepy ambient music. Wish there was also some scary entity to haunt the place. Controls are smooth and the interactions well made. Good job!

Silex by tigerfinch 2021-10-08T21:26:21Z

This has great potential, whish it was longer!

Unstable Concoction by theviraldragon 2021-10-04T20:51:33Z

I like the concept, I brew some random stuff but I couldn't even figure out how to brew the first order haha. Maybe you should have limited the number of ingredients to 2 instead of 3 in order to reduce the guesswork on the part of the player?

Anti-Bomb by IcyLava 2021-10-09T21:17:50Z

This is fun and has great potential! It's really hard and might turn people off, but I like hard games so if that's the niche you're after it's fine as it is. What I thought was harder than it should be is actually aiming the antibomb, but I don't know how to make it easier or if it can or should be. Part of it was that I had to fight the instinct to drag the opposite way. Anyway I think this is really good, nice job!

You won't believe your result from this personality test! by allthebees 2021-10-08T20:32:11Z

I don't handerstand this game but it's thumbtastic!

Tesla Coil by marbles 2021-10-09T10:44:54Z

The concept is nice and the art looks really cool! You did well to increase the damage in the newer version, the other big problem I faced is that when repairing the tesla coil you have to use different keys than for moving and I don't think that was a good idea. Also, during the voting period I think you should leave the original version playable in the browser and have the fixed one as a download. Anyway good job!

Angry Girl Wants Buns by almost 2021-10-07T20:36:16Z

Amazing art, it's really cute and evocative! The music greatly emphasizes the character's mood and fits great. Like others said, this would work better on a grid. Nice job!

P.T. Bone-um's Fabulous Tightrope of Terror by Kyrio 2021-10-12T20:11:39Z

I'm sure is won't happen at the wrong time XD Great art, music and style, the gameplay is solid although the controls don't feel very responsive and it doesn't feel that unstable. I think it's a little too hard and it often seems that my input is ignored when given at the last moment. Overall it's great and humorous, great job!

Midnight Maintenance by Tattomoosa 2021-10-05T21:02:50Z

Cute horror game! The audio was a little low volume but otherwise good and funny. Nice one!

Shaky Structures by TomBuston 2021-10-09T13:06:52Z

Great concept and execution! It looks good too. Reaching the stars to get more lines seems kind of pointless since you can just build a structure that stretches there, collect the star and then erase it all. It would have made more sense if you had to encompass the star in order to unlock the additional lines. Anyway the game is fun and engaging, well done!

Unstabled Horse Game by 2kah 2021-10-04T21:34:50Z

I love the intro text and the sounds! I couldn't quite figure out how to properly control the tail, Callum wasn't too happy about it :P

Pop Shove-It by ColeSlaughter 2021-10-09T19:02:20Z

The concept is so cool but the mouse only controls turns me really off :/

The Headless Horseman by datadazer 2021-10-08T20:22:09Z

While the theme is implemented only in the lore behind the game, the art and music are actually good! The gameplay is solid too. Some special sounds and ui effects on deaths and winning would have made it even better. Nice job!

Darkness In Bloom by Simon Rahnasto 2021-10-10T08:26:31Z

The concept is great and so is the execution! Art, music and sounds are high quality and the game feels really polished.

My main criticism is that the enemies seem kind of pointless, if you fight them you'll soon have to avoid them in order to not die and running past them feels too easy. It would have been great if there were undead enemies that you defeat by funneling (maybe they turn into harmless animals/plants?), possibly this would fix having to avoid normal enemies too.

I really liked this game, it makes me feel like a powerful dark spirit! Wish there was more, great job!

Cowabunga by Sestren 2021-10-11T19:36:09Z

Great music and concept! Having a single bar for health and attacking is great and I love that you become incapacitated when you run out. I would have loved a little tutorial that explains how to play, but nice job anyway!

Deck Bomber by Britt Henderson 2021-10-09T20:41:32Z

This card game is really good, I'll be playing it with my friends! Great to find someone else who sang their music, cheers :D it's catchy too, nice job! The art is great and cute.

If you plan to expand this you might want to introduce special cards like UNO reverse and skip turn. Maybe also rare cards that set the bomb number to their value rather than summing to it? Maybe rare cards that don't trigger the explosion despite going beyond +/-10? Just some suggestions, it's up to you.

Nice work!

BIG BAD LAB by ddolgov 2021-10-07T20:15:11Z

Nice concept! I realize you explained the game in this page but I think that for jams it's sooo important to explain everything in game with interactive tutorials that introduce things one at a time. Please take the time to do it on your future entries, I truly believe it makes the difference! Maybe make one less mini-game or save time in some other way, but do save it. Anyway I had fun, well done!

Harvesting Motherboards by MaxKyckling 2021-10-07T07:13:52Z

It looks cool! I think it would be better if you could move very slowly while aiming rather than being forced still. Good job anyway!

Haywire by Firebelley 2021-10-09T17:20:34Z

This is possibly the most fun game of the jam! Feels really polished, looks and sounds great and the shooting jump mechanic is sooo good, bravo!

Celestial Heights by shp 2021-10-05T20:35:23Z

Great concept and mechanics! It's quite hard even on easy to go higher and higher because you always end up right below a block. Maybe by letting the player swing in both directions it could be solved? Anyway, good job!

ClownPunk by Panagiotis Iatrou 2021-10-10T10:36:13Z

This is really great! The concept and execution are awesome! The time slow down and control inversion are great too. I love all the small details and laughed hard when I got rick rolled :P

I think it would be even better if you turned the things that make you instantly lose into heavily increased difficulty. In particular, the more items you collect on a box the more you naturally tilt toward it so that keeping yourself balanced if you don't distribute them equally becomes so hard that you fall down. As for the bomb, if you catch it it should explode and tilt you heavily in the opposite direction and maybe even partly or completely empty out the box you collected it in.

Overall this was great fun, amazing job!

Unstable Abel by Player 2 2021-10-07T20:28:16Z

This is fun, nice work! Procedural generation is spot on and animations are really funny. The cars stutter around a bit but you're surely aware of it. The real question is... why are people driving around like it's nothing on a zombie apocalypse?! And who left those washing machines around??? :P

Reactor by Birdwards 2021-10-10T21:17:12Z

The concept is cool, it's an interesting reinterpretation of puzzle bubble! It's fun to play and intuitive enough, good job!

ŮNSTÅBLĒ by Dominium11 2021-10-08T21:39:33Z

Interesting, so this is why stuff gets broken when delivered at home XD Nice job guys, this is fun!

The Eye of Glower-On by UkuleleFury 2021-10-07T09:19:18Z

This is really fun! Nice aesthetic style too, well done!

Home Renos Inc. by Pincushion 2021-10-07T20:03:38Z

It's impressive that you could code something this involved in compo! So involved that sadly I could not understand what I was supposed to do, despite reading the tutorial. This really needed an interactive step by step tutorial. Nice concept regardless!

gone. by wafflecomposite 2021-10-04T21:49:20Z

Brilliant! "Please refrain from losing again" and "could you please not" cracked me up. Can I steal those lines? :P Loved the ending too, bravo!

Unstable Mines by AppoxGames 2021-10-04T21:24:08Z

It's fun once you understand how it works! I loved that some mines follow you, great touch! I think it was a bit too easy to get stuck behind blocks, but overall good job!

Mission Control by PetTurtle 2021-10-10T15:37:26Z

This looks great but I'm still not sure how the game really works lol :P I get that you're supposed to visit the planets in the dashed rectangle but I do not have a coherent understand of anything else. Like, when and why does my ship become yellow sometimes? What are the relays for? Why am I sometimes connected to other planets then lose that connection? Anyway it's fun, nice one!

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-06T20:00:10Z

Amazing concept, fits the theme perfectly! Bravo!

Unstable Ground by BuzzyBee 2021-10-10T19:13:14Z

Nice mechanics and good level design! For a jam you might wanna consider adding more checkpoints so more people are likely to see the later levels. Nice job overall!

Rocky Rhodes and the Cracked Case by Brainloaf Studio 2021-10-10T13:57:12Z

This was brilliant!!! Amazing concept, visuals, audio everything! The puzzle at end was impossible without knowing what to do, I thought you had to put the pieces like they were arranged in the previous cutscene, so I restarted and took screenshots. I was so convinced of this because the pieces were not constrained to the grid on the borders and outside of it. I could only solve after the hint you guys wrote here about it being circular. Anyways this was spectacular, wonderful job!

Tables & Tremors by SlimmerBurger 2021-10-04T20:23:25Z

The mechanics on this are incredible, great work! The death screen/flash could use some work and I found the flying tables a bit hard to see in some levels, but overall I loved this!

UNTetris by JaviCoder 2021-10-05T19:09:56Z

I love the concept and how polished this is! If you plan on expanding it you might consider adding a variety of base shapes other than a rectangle with a hole in the center.

Helico Pter by 3LSTMsInATrenchcoat 2021-10-05T19:58:09Z

I like the concept and it looks really nice, but I couldn't land succesfully once haha

Unstababel by ubershmekel 2021-10-11T20:14:53Z

It's fun reaching god, it gives the player something to aim at. I had some issues with the physics, at the start of a round often I would grab a piece and everything gets flinged in all directions and at least a piece goes so far it becomes unreachable. Also, the small square when used as a base (alongside one of the black columns) would begin to slide when the tower gets high enough for no apparent reason, eventually causing everything to crumble. Finally, it's really unintuitive having to click an already bought piece to start the game. But anyway it was fun to play, nice job!

Unstable Vampire: A Text based Infinite Runner by Dobryn 2021-10-04T21:03:23Z

Nice concept, I find it somewhat frustrating having to rush every word I type tho. Technically all action games have you type letters in a rush but I guess they're laid out so that it's not as frustrating? Or maybe I just don't like typing in a hurry haha.

Deathrail by Hotowlgirls 2021-10-09T19:31:05Z

I have finally found you! I knew someone was bound to have the same idea I had :P I can hardly believe people complain this is hard, it seems right to me. The art really stands out, the music is cool and the gameplay is fun. I think the explanation of the keys should have happened during the game, I completely forgot the key to jump when I started. Also I think it would be cool if the balancing gets harder the longer you manage to stay up. Great entry overall!

The Un's Stable by Kongo 2021-10-09T20:21:41Z

This is really fun and challenging! The art is so good and cute and the music fits great. The mechanics are solid and it's so funny when animals fight. Great job!

Mountaineer by vsi- 2021-10-08T20:55:18Z

At first the game was incomprehensible to me. I had no idea what the items were for and how to use them. When I somehow jumped I fell for seemingly no reason. Then things slowly started to make sense, I learnt what the items were for and how to use them and what the warnings meant.

And at that point the game was actually good! So please on your next jam take the time to make an in-game interactive tutorial, it's really important and helps a lot with first impression!

The game itself feels rough, slow and unpolished but despite of that it's fun to play, nice job!

U.R.A.N.I.U.M. by monninen 2021-10-12T20:57:01Z

This is well thought out! The difficulty curve is perfect and the gameplay is fun. My main issue was that when both the bucket and the shovel were on the ground close to each other it seemed to prefer picking up the bucket rather than the closest item. Graphically and audio-wise it's not much but you get bonus points on everything because of how well you explained everything in game and how you added one mechanic at a time. Bravo!

BRUTEFORCE by TotteriLudum 2021-10-09T16:02:26Z

Nice concept and great execution! I have only played a few minutes, it feels like a real command prompt and I liked the brute force minigame. A few quality of life improvements would be great, like allowing the left arrow key to move the cursor back one character and the home key to move it at the beginning of the command. Also, some old PC/modem sounds and loud key pressing would have made this even more immersive. The heat mechanic feels like it's there just to fit the unstable theme rather than being important to the game. Maybe it should have been a minigame that interrupts you every now and then? Maybe there should be graphical glitches that get worse and worse until the temperature is fixed? Anyway good job, I'll make sure to play the game to completion at some point!

TECHNUCLEAR by TheGreenWorm 2021-10-09T17:05:44Z

This feels incredibly polished and good to play! You are clearly a skilled gamedev and obviously put a lot of love into this. My only criticism is that it seems to me the unstable theme is only implemented in the terms you used in the UI :P Regardless this is awesome, bravo!

The Theme is Unstable by Johnathan Peres 2021-10-06T20:13:33Z

Wonderful idea! The execution is kind of basic but it does the job, well done!

Baby Atom by MarkVeligod 2021-10-07T20:50:41Z

Aesthetically this is really nice and distinctive. The gameplay isn't bad too. I'm not convinced by the randomly moving red balls, I think their erratic movement takes away from the fun a little bit. Also, the button mashing minigame is a bit dull. The mechanic is fine but I think it needs more feedback, like more graphical effects. Overall good job guys!

Corvin and The Cauldron of Who-Knows-What by Celtican 2021-10-12T20:43:12Z

This is great! I love the art, sounds and humor! It feels like there's a little too much guess work to do, I often resorted to trying out all combinations because those that seemed logical to me didn't work. Maybe Corvin should say something about each item after you used it twice or three times that make you understand if you should keep it or not? Anyway this is really good, great job!

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-04T21:28:19Z

Thank you @aquachain and @2kah! Oh damn, I wanted to do exactly that @2kah but I forgot lol

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-05T18:54:30Z

Thanks guys! Agree on the cannons @dennis-magnusson, couldn't tune them right in time.

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-06T20:03:42Z

Thanks @johnathan-peres @javicoder, it means so much! :D

@denatus I wanted to grudually start unbalancing the player but I forgot, lol

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-07T09:20:20Z

Thank you all @pincushion @ddolgov @markveligod! :D

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-07T20:56:13Z

Thanks @romandviski @almost @cabjhegas! Yeah well @almost it's unstable, of course it changes suddenly! Jokes aside I agree it's too difficult. Also, it subtly becomes harder and harder to balance the longer you go without falling down.

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-08T19:55:52Z

Thank you @myles-doupe and @datadazer! I agree on the difficulty, it's too much. The camera rotation however was entirely on purpose to make the game feel even more unstable :P On every respawn I increase the maximum range of rotation and then randomly decide how much to apply. I'm sorry it felt like a bug, do you have any suggestions on how to make it feel deliberate or do you think it should be scrapped entirely?

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-09T18:41:53Z

Thanks @tigerfinch @fersyvanderzee @arkinrev!

@tigerfinch yeah difficulty in general is harder than I meant it to be

@arkinrev we truly live in heckling times!

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-09T20:46:24Z

Thank you all @britt-henderson @xparker @nyxkn!

@britt-henderson that's because I'm obviously your Mr. Hyde, dear Dr. Handerson. You're absolutely right on the checkpoints, I should have made them obvious with some graphical effect. I had to cut so much I wanted to do and this was one of those things.

@nyxkn Sorry to hear that, it turned out harder than I wanted it to be. When I have time I'll probably expand on this and tweak the difficulty right, so stay tuned!

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-10T08:27:46Z

Thank you @simon-rahnasto, it was great watching you play!

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-10T10:10:36Z

Thanks @iasonasgts, glad you enjoyed :P

Ropy Woply Doo by Jackaljk 2021-10-11T19:28:31Z

Thank you all @lovor @sestren @david-mason @ubershmekel @pbg!

@ubershmekel yeah the cannons are there as a distraction mainly. Obstacles that require you to lean to some direction is a great suggestion, thanks!

@pbg there are checkpoints, but the game is one unique first level. Sorry about the difficulty, it's way higher than I intended.

Unstable Genius by Doc Kaos 2021-10-05T19:34:55Z

Hilarious, so meta! Great job!

Handle With Care by Liss1024 2021-10-07T20:00:52Z

Ok so coming from me it will sound silly but... this is hard!! You have to get hang of it before it becomes fun and I think this is the biggest issue. In the beginning it's frustrating, you can see the potential but you're so tempted to just give up because there's not much to keep you engaged. You're simply not having fun yet.

To make things worse it wasn't even obvious what I was supposed to do in the first level. Do I have to land in the upper platform? Or on the one on the right? What if only the cargo lands but not the ship? Only when you learn to control the ship and what the objective is it becomes fun and it's a really good concept!

Next time work on your tutorial guys, if you want to make something as hard as this make the first level as simple as possible and explain exactly what should be done, in particular in this game point out where and how you should land.

I hope this is useful, congrats on your game, I liked it!

MEMALOIRS by Lovor 2021-10-10T20:28:47Z

The concept is really cool! I love that you included something meta like the music among the things that may interrupt you :P nice job!

Super Stable Charger Robot by caudatecoder 2021-10-05T20:17:36Z

Great soundtrack and mechanics, well done!

Unpredictable Processes by Denatus 2021-10-06T20:22:53Z

The concept and the visual styles are good! The controls need some work though, sometimes I can't jump for no apparent reason. The audio is a little basic but it fits the settings. Good job!

Hardwork Simulator by cabjhegas 2021-10-06T19:44:50Z

Great concept! Maybe a little more gameplay would have made it better though.

Medieval Madness by Mozri 2021-10-12T19:56:45Z

Is this controller only? Seriously?

Hello Darkness. My old Friend. by Aquachain 2021-10-04T20:38:36Z

The art style is very distinctive, I loved the main menu! Basically I +1 everything @voidsay said, although I couldn't get past the third level.

For your next game, make sure it adapts well to all window sizes, my screen is 1600x900 and the browser window is even smaller in height and the game got cut on the bottom.

Good job and congrats on your first jam ever!

Unstable Dimension by Katanoueki 2021-10-10T20:07:52Z

This is great! The mechanic is really solid, the graphics look cool and it feels polished (despite the UI breaking on fullscreen). I also love how it gets more and more intense. To spice things up you might consider adding different types of runes, maybe some shake the camera and others rotate it 180 degrees or something like that. Nice game, good job!

Werlds by badmuchachob 2021-10-07T21:13:22Z

I really like the concept! The graphics get really, well, unstable and shaky and I couldn't get past the first level of the 3rd iteration. I think the player's movement should have been just a little smoother. Good job!

Tetromino Stack by Myles Doupe 2021-10-06T20:30:35Z

This answers "if tetris had physics", nice concept! The placed blocks are unstable in a probably unintended way as well, they have the tendency to phase through each other but otherwise it's fun!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

A duck on ice by jk5000 2022-04-06T19:50:25Z

The mechanic of the game is really good, I wish it lasted longer!

Re-Re-Robot by Porcus_Pie 2022-04-16T17:11:43Z

The idea is really cool and the level design is remarkable and well thought out! The game feels a little clunky and finicky however, which make it a bit frustrating, especially when combined with the confusion on the distinction between the R and spacebar keys. I always had to stop and think which I wanted of the two and I wish any key would let me start rather than spacebar. I liked thi entry, nice job!

Frame Buster by JCMonkey 2022-04-05T21:13:34Z

I love the concept and how well it fits the theme! What's inevitable is that the fps will drop to an unplayable value and that's the game, genius! It's really fun too, damn chickens!

Belecint by unpronounceable 2022-04-18T19:43:24Z

Never seen anything quite like this, perfect use of the theme! Nice use of sounds that almost make an interactive music. If you polish this up and add some game juice it could be very good, nice job!

JUGGERNAUT by cogcomp 2022-04-05T20:32:08Z

Damn making something with the tools you used is something of a feat in and of itself, the game is interesting too with that speed mechanic. Nice!

Putyn Invaders by Pio 2022-04-09T13:59:18Z

The theme integration is somewhat weak in this game and like others have said hitting the enemy ships is a little too tricky. Graphically it's stunning for a compo game, but I don't find the 3D perspective ideal. Loved the weapon upgrade, wish there was more! Lord Putyn was hilarious, you could have made his ship even more prominent. Nice entry!

Censor by Kurakurture 2022-04-18T21:00:50Z

Damn the book of acceptable words sounds so much like the politically correct nonsense that's plaguing the west. Nice entry, it's very interesting to see AI generated stuff!

CRASHLANDING by cleitoneldorn 2022-04-21T19:39:40Z

The concept is cool and the game is fun once you figure out how to actually reach the water. It's promising, with more mechanics and more/better feedback on how distant you are from crashing and from the sea it could be really good, nice job!

Tree Protector by dusho 2022-04-09T14:47:38Z

The game is fun, the idea behind it is cool and implements the theme very well. Graphically it's really cute and looks good, although a bit too shiny. I like the throwing mechanic a lot, but aiming feels way harder than necessary. The only shots I could reliably land were vertical and close. Horizontal shots seemed impossible for some reason. I love that the acorns bounce and you need to collect them before throwing them. Also, moving around feels a little too slow and vertical movement looks slower than horizontal. I don't know if it's because of the perspective or what. Remember to to normalize the vector you use for moving things around and multiply it to the speed. Good job!

Block or Bust by 100th_Coin 2022-04-06T19:22:09Z

The gameplay loop is solid, the particle effects are really cool if a bit confusing. The music is good but seems somewhat unrelated to the game. You implemented the theme very well, good job!

Piggy Pileup by candlesan 2022-04-10T09:30:33Z

Nice mixing of genres, would work great as a multiplier and/or a mobile game. It's cute and fits the theme well, nice job!

Grandma by smiley 2022-04-17T21:25:06Z

You've put together some interesting mechanics! I think they would work better on a more frantic and silly game. The theme is only there in the story which is quite weak, but the game looks really good. It's moody and the music fits that well. Nice job!

Pass The Torch by Dan Smith 2022-04-17T20:10:39Z

You already had great feedback, I can't add much. Great atmosphere and music, wonderful visual style, but little fun. I think the children move too slowly, you need them to survive in later stages but you can't get to later stages if you wait for them. That's what happened in my playthroughs at least. The concept is really cool but definitely needs more mechanics and balancing. Nice job!

Farming until bankruptcy by atomicptr 2022-04-06T20:39:45Z

This would get sooo addicting for me, I love how it plays out, but I press buttons really quickly and when the turns run out I get a popup that I immediately close because I'm still in the loop of pressing buttons fast. So I have no idea what the popup says and then it looks like the game restarts? Too bad because it's good otherwise.

Fuse Lit! by pdotjpg 2022-04-10T21:21:12Z

Really novel puzzle game that fits the theme perfectly. The aesthetic style has character too. The fuse extension mechanic is is unintuitive at first and somewhat awkward when you finally understand it because you tend to "trip" on the line extending it without intending to. The level you depict in this page is by far the hardest, because you need to figure out that you have to stop the fuse and only then extend it. I think an easier level presenting this technique should preceed it. Regardless this is fun and really interesting, nice job!

BLACKSUN by Davide Rossetto 2022-04-09T09:23:27Z

Really addicting and fun! Took me a bit to understand how to play, precisely why the villagers weren't doing anything and what to do with totems on the left. Then I got it all and loved it! Graphically it's really good, although some of the icons were too small for me (on the web version, next time add a button to play fullscreen). Some sound effects and music would make the experience even better. Nice job!

DashFight by antonsem 2022-04-16T21:07:18Z

Unbelievably frustrating, can't tell if I'm bad or that's the intended experience. Once they gank up on you it's all lost. I really like the concept though and the graphical style is cool, I wish you could parry the attacks or that breaking the stun was easier or clearer.

Gate Keeper by Lawrence 2022-04-07T20:33:52Z

Really fun and engaging, the combination of tetris and tower defense really works! The art looks good and the theme implementation is on point, good job!

Only You Can Try In Vain To Prevent Forest Fires On An Active Volcano by bigbazwa 2022-04-20T19:22:00Z

This is such a great concept! If you can make it more fun and add game juice this could be a hit. Maybe it would work even better in 2D? Nice job!

Into The Light by Yorsh 2022-04-09T15:26:05Z

This is really really good, bravo! It's very fun and fits the theme perfectly. Graphically it's impressive and I love the music, so catchy! I also love how you present the ui on that smartphone, I'm a great fan of that kind of ui. Amazing job!

Holding On by Cubanfrog 2022-04-20T19:46:33Z

Bittersweet, can definitely relate. Feels really polished and well made. Purely from a gamplay perspective it's a little weird that you can go on despite it becoming impossibly difficult. Also the possibility to just let go at any time doesn't convince me. I think it would be really cool if you had to unlock it by playing well. Good entry, nice job!

Did I Just Poop Myself by the Produce Section by ZachsButt 2022-04-10T15:05:21Z

This is really funny, it looks and sounds really silly and I love it! I don't particularly like the undertale like minigames and the theme integration is a bit weak buy i enjoyed this anyway, good job!

MAGICAL JUGGLER EXTRAORDINAIRE by benskca 2022-04-07T21:08:17Z

The first and last spell are quite frustrating but the game is fun nonetheless. It looks great too and fits the theme perfectly, good job!

Snowmageddon by PurpledArtFrog 2022-04-08T21:01:39Z

I don't quite know what I'm doing or I'm supposed to do in the game, but I especially loved pressing E. Yes I'm a monster. The concept is good and the game looks nice, I only wish the gameplay was clearer. Nice one!

FUSE by Ossi 2022-04-09T15:09:25Z

It's really simple, feels polished and looks very good, especially the particle effect. The music adds a nice touch too. It gets old really fast but it's ok for a jam. Could definitely be expanded with more mechanics and candle types. The theme integration isn't bad although it would have been better without a time limit. Nice job overall!

The world is breaking by BubakGames 2022-04-10T14:46:21Z

I really like the concept, the game is fun and looks good, but there are some usability issues. First I think that collecting materials should happen automatically rather than by pressing a key. Second laying bridges and turning them to sand should be mapped to the same button. And third it's not clear at all how to turn sand into grass and the ui makes it look like the resources for sand and grass somehow exclude each other because you never see them together. The audio could be improved too. But don't get me wrong I like the game, nice job!

Mighty Crossroad by hmightypirate 2022-04-10T09:11:50Z

The idea is really cool and fits the theme well. It's kinda hard to tell how the cars are oriented, so someties you place a road that isn't traveled by the car because it was going in the opposite direction. The perspective seems a bit off too. The game is promising and could be improved a lot, nice job!

Life of a Mosquito by Cary Stanley 2022-04-09T16:49:04Z

This is surprisingly good! Theme is on point and the game is fun. The reactions of people getting bitten are really funny :P The bite sound is a little too loud and music a bit repetitive but it's ok. Good job!

Model-5C by William Corrin 2022-04-06T21:05:32Z

It looks really great and I like the concept. I really wanted to see how you made the pulsating floor but it looks like you forgot to push the code to github?

Your Regime by deniskazantsev 2022-04-15T18:50:25Z

I really love the concept and minimalism of the execution! Definitely a game that entices you to put time in it. I found it really hard to get voters support, after the first term it falls quickly and couldn't figure out the best combo of actions to keep it up. Partly because time flows too quickly for me even on the slowest setting, I could barely keep track of the support. I really like that you actively need to take polls to find out your support level, despite it taking some of the already limited time. Nice job!

Crisis Chef: 28 Plates Later by simba 2022-04-10T15:30:20Z

Fun, polished and mixes genres well! Shooting feels kind of weird with the bullets coming from the hand and would benefit from more visual feedback. Nice job!

Lethal Dice 50 by marcmagus 2022-04-10T10:46:54Z

Saw this played in a twitch stream, I like the core mechanic and it's fun to play. It seems to be based on luck a little bit much, maybe you could work on some more strategic elements. What's there is fun as it though, nice job!

Meteor Power by UkuleleFury 2022-04-09T18:11:15Z

I like the game, the concept is really good and fits the theme well. However I found the game very unintuitive at first, It took me 3 playthoughs to realize how exactly you connect the lines. Likely because I'm stupid, I guess the way you can move without tapping icons confused me a lot. It looks really good zoomed in but soon you need to see more around you and when zoomed out the icons are too small and it doesn't look as good. Anyway you did a good job overall, cheers!

Trash Simulator 3000 by Esben Jensen 2022-04-10T10:06:23Z

The idea is actually really good but the game feels way too clunky and unpolished. I think if the whole thing gets more silly and if you don't have to realistically stop and position yourself carefully to collect the trash it would be really fun. Also the top down perspective you went for leaves something to be desired. Anyway I appreciate the effort and the intuition, nice job!

Mrs Applebee's garden by zubspace 2022-04-18T18:35:11Z

So cute and such a sad ending! Great modeling and visual style, nice job!

Lumber Tracks by Black Flag 2022-04-17T20:45:05Z

The concept is cool and the game is fun! Recovering the axe is somewhat finicky and the berries that make you go faster were not enough to catch up the train for me. With some more balancing and mechanics this could be great, nice job!

Not Af-RAID by JM Studio 2022-04-08T20:38:15Z

This is quite the idea, i like the setting and it fits the theme really well. I'm not much of a card games fun but I liked it nonetheless, nice job!

teleBOTation by Phoenix Fireflower 2022-04-10T11:09:00Z

Did you think this game up for the teleportation theme? :P Delaying the inevitable is not what it could bem but you've put together quite interesting mechanics, loved it. Moving around feels somewhat unpolished and finicky but the game looks good. Nice job!

Don't Touch It! by KirKami 2022-04-05T20:12:09Z

Amazing premise, simple and fun game with surprisingly good graphics, well done!

Run Run Granny! by Hartvichio 2022-04-05T20:57:26Z

This is a great concept and a fun implementation! I'm quite impressed with how you laid out the UI too. Also love the humour and sounds!

Hotel Lazarus by sacredbacon 2022-04-13T20:13:51Z

Lovely concept and addicting gameplay! I think you made it a little too easy, I could have gone on forever. There doesn't seem to be any malus to letting monsters wait, that's something that would have added to the craze. Nice job!

DLAY's Buffet by BinaryPrinciple 2022-04-20T20:28:41Z

Nice concept and nice worplay on the god's name! The gameplay is fun and solid, tho it's missing much game juice, including a satisfying death animation. I wonder why you've decided to use a hole in the first half rather than a non-hostile version of the god, he looks really cool so he deserved more screen time. Nice game anyway, good job!

The Last Tower by hulien22 2022-04-10T11:56:23Z

Fun and addicting, it's nice to see all those mage types and how they interact with each other. Merging units is somewhat unintuitive and the first time it happens without the player knowing it would. The firing effects leave something to be desidered and the missing audio takes a bit away from the experience but nice job regardless!

Between My Shadows by jordwest 2022-04-09T20:13:25Z

The concept is cool and the atmosphere is great. The cloud like effect you made for the memories is amazing. The reject weapon when fired causes the game to freeze for a fraction of a second, you might wanna look into it. It's not really scary but I don't think you went for that, what with the upgrades and weapons and all of that. I love horror so you get bonus points, nice job!

Eye Fly by Koolruz 2022-04-10T16:03:28Z

Unbelievably challenging, often frustrating and fun! Love the minimalism and the character looks and feels very polished. The difficulty curve is so steep that the level in which you introduce the X key to free fall is as hard as it gets except probably the last level. Also the controls seem a little unfairly hard. Truly something for the hardcore players, nice job!

Timeflight Alpha by Quinn_Patrick 2022-04-06T20:06:31Z

This is really fun and I'm not a fan of this kind of game! I really love how you bounce around stuff and the weapon upgrades. It feels polished, well thought out and fits the theme perfectly. I think the icons of the collectable items should have been bigger, but otherwise great job!

X-1 - A Game About a Robot Shutting Down by Billnotic 2022-04-06T20:28:10Z

I like the idea and it looks and feels super polished for a compo game, nice!

Immune System "Engineer" - Can you Delay the Inevitable Skin Breach? by Aarimous 2022-04-09T16:25:04Z

This is so good, the concept is great, the game is fun and fits the theme perfectly. I love how you created music with the sounds the cells make when they appear! The only criticism I have is that connected dots and cells sometiemes are not distinct enough from unconnected ones, especially while being in a hurry. Regardless this is an amazing entry, bravo!

Planet Saver by PashaLoban 2022-04-05T20:04:54Z

I like the concept and how you walk around the planet, though it could use a little in-game tutorial and more mechanics

Tidal Wave by BjornStahl 2022-04-10T09:53:12Z

This is really interesting, a nice tower defense genre spin-off. I like the risk-reward of growing your city and that the boulders try to find a weakspot in your defence. I'm a fan of minimalism but everything grey like this doesn't work too well. Also, the lack of audio is really sad. This was fun, nice job!

NOT YET by TheGreenWorm 2022-04-18T08:39:13Z

Really fun and well made, unbelieavable you could draw all of that, program it and make a catchy music on top! Only drawback is that the theme integration is weak, but no matter, great job!

Captain Starforce by extar 2022-04-18T20:01:22Z

Great aesthetic, well polished, fun and nice music! Too bad the theme is integrated only via the increasing difficulty, but not matter, great job!

You Are A Bomb by Benjamin Halko 2022-04-06T20:17:07Z

It's a nice little idea, the game is simple and fun to play and I love the arcade look, nice job!

NAP GUARDIAN by nethead 2022-04-10T13:01:00Z

The game is fun, polished and looks really good! The hard mode is quite challenging, thanks for adding that. As fun as it is, the theme isn't really well integrated here. But no matter, good job!

Definitely not Titanic by Charles Viau 2022-04-08T19:04:13Z

I like the concept and that there is no action button, it makes the game feel fast and the catchy music helps too. Graphically I think it could be improved, especially the models, the lighting and the particle effects. The theme implementation is on point and the cutscenes set the tone really well, nice job!

Trash Panic! by Defrag 2022-04-09T16:38:03Z

I find it super hard to control with keyboard buttons, I get all confused. I guess if you could open by clicking it could be easier but I'm not sure at all. Regardless I really love the concept, it's really fun, humorous and polished! Props to you fellow voice sound effects artist :P

Door Man by Mavvy 2022-04-11T19:21:04Z

Great tutorial, that's rare in jam games but absolutely appreciated! The game is fun and well made, I don't quite get how it fits the theme but I like it, nice job!

@cubanfrog i really appreciate your feedback, what specific accessibility problems did you notice?

Divine Rain by Jackaljk 2022-04-21T19:31:23Z

@binaryprinciple thank you and I'm glad you noticed that crossover, it was intended! Haha in a parallel universe this game could definitely be called "Divine Fountain". Agreed about the sound, I tried making something but didn't like the result and I was too exhausted to keep trying.

Slime Rise by haztro 2022-04-09T20:26:08Z

Love the concept and the implementation, the game is fun and graphically stunning. You even made a cool water effect. There might be a bug that prevents people from building a house placed next to another. Also why would i build a lot of houses like you do in the gif rather than go up as quickly as possible? I like this anyway, good job!

Lumi and the Cloud Shepherd by Heremeus 2022-04-16T21:14:48Z

The concept is nice and the game is really cute, I wish there were more mechanics and that the difficulty would ramp up over time, as it is it feels like I could go on forever as long as I shake the clouds far from the old guy.

One Fuse by the neon shark 2022-04-17T19:47:27Z

The concept is really cool, I wish it was playable alone too.

Lords of the Deck: 50 cards to WAR by AsmadiGames 2022-04-17T19:18:46Z

This is fun and engaging, I love that you can play it with common poker cards! I've managed to win by 36 on my first try so I guess you erred on the side of easy but then again I had a (lucky? I played spades as soon as possible so I had a big hand) streak of very close or equal cards on both colors. I really like the special actions, wish there were more and that some had simultaneously a big bonus and a big malus. Great job!

Debt Train (card construction game) by Christian Zommerfelds 2022-04-09T18:39:07Z

This is really addicting and fun, it's probably a bit too easy to gain cash as you always have plenty of stations. The minimalistic style works great and the music fits well even if it gets a bit repetive. Nice job!

Knighthood by SMdG 2022-04-09T14:18:24Z

The concept is good, it fits the theme well and the game doesn't look bad. A laser wielding knight who's about to die is a really cool idea. Like others have said the feedback could be improved dramatically, especially for the laser and when getting hit. You might wanna look into game juice. But the weakest point is the audio, the music is too repetitive and some effecs are way too loud. But still nice job overall!

Losing Your Sheet by rickylee 2022-04-06T20:51:48Z

I lost my sheet trying to understand the game. But messing with the sheet feels really good and polished. Love the particle effects, the pixel art and the humour. Nice job!

KEEP THE POWER by caudatecoder 2022-04-09T10:28:46Z

The concept is really good and fun and a great intepretation of the theme. The game suffers somewhat from the lack of polish and from having only the journalist and the cop that you need to manage. It's really funny to see how the dictator morphs after the big decisions, nice job!

The Third Age by szym 2022-04-18T08:56:57Z

Nice idea and polished execution! Had a hard time to figure out what some of the stat meant and how to deal with them. Also, the shop is too expensive so you can buy very little stuff. Looks great for a compo game and the music fits well, nice job!

Try to Die of Old Age by Dennis Magnusson 2022-04-16T16:45:13Z

Ok so the game looks horrible and doesn't bring new ideas to the table BUT the cutscenes look great, the audio and dialogues are awesome and it's fun for those players that like a challenge. Bonus points for dissing safari, explaining the controls in a dialogue and implementing checkpoints, nice job!

Choboro by DaivyIsHere 2022-04-08T19:12:44Z

This well designed, polished, cute and an interesting pinball spin-off. Has the potential to be improved upon and expanded a lot, nice job!

You shall not pass by Senso 2022-04-10T12:36:32Z

You've definitely made the most of the mechanic you came up with! And that's a lot of levels you were able to create in just a day. On the down side it's quite annoying listening to the same dialogue over and over again and there's no delaying the inevitable at all in this game :P nice job anyway!

I was Reincarnated as a Middle Aged Dad Protecting his Son's Sand Castle by mcmuniz 2022-04-05T20:52:12Z

Love the idea and how silly it looks, couldn't quite understand the controls or how to place more protecting tiles. A better interactive in game explanation would have really helped. Also that's quite the title haha!

Dilate the time! by milq 2022-04-09T18:57:16Z

Really neat idea, I love relativity so I particuarly appreciate the concept! Would have loved even more if the time dilation was more intrinsic to the game mechanics and if length contraction had a role too. Anyway the game is fun as it is and the audio component is amazing, although the controls feel a bit too tight. Nice job!

Listening to Rama by ycb21 2022-04-08T20:09:18Z

The concept fits the theme perfectly, is well executed and looks really good. The pieces feel really heavy and that's good, although maybe a little too much. I like that you don't show where exactly to put back the pieces, so that one has to pay attention and it becomes harder the more frequently they fall down. If you plan to expand on this, on might want to let the player buy some temporary effect that shows where the pieces should go back to. I love that you give the player one more reason to delay as much as possible with the audio files that one gets to listen to. Nice job!

Wait For It ! by Forgin Bits 2022-04-05T20:23:51Z

Every minigame is fun, the concept is cool and the its art style gives the game a lot of character, well done!

B-Game by squaxcom 2022-04-08T20:49:05Z

Ok so the music is really good but there are some sounds that are quite too loud. The art looks good but the game feels a little zoomed in too much, can't see enough of my surroundings to know where to go. I couldn't survive the second level twice because I didn't know which direction to go. The concept is cool tho!

Imagine Him Happy by Widdershin 2022-04-09T19:52:50Z

Damn I'm such a sucker for this kind of game. It feels very polished, I like all the small details like the hands and getting squished. I haven't completed it yet so I don't know how well designed it is but until the furthest I got (beginning of the snow part) it's really good. The lack of audio is painfully manifest, can't imagine Sisyphus happy in such silence, but I love the game nonetheless. Bravo!

Jumpalot by game-jam-devs 2022-04-05T20:40:50Z

This is great, it feels polished and is fun to play! I was thinking of making something similar, good thing I didn't because it would not have been so good haha!

Owl Knight by Askoed 2022-04-10T19:48:30Z

I like the concept and the visual style, they both remind me of Rayman with the freeing of prisoners in cages and the chase.

There are a few issues that I would like to point out to you guys, first the character running animation looks a bit jerky, like he's vibrating back and fort while running. The jump feels too floaty and slow, I think you wanted to go for a fast game but something as important as jumping actually slows you down here. Dashing is really good on the other hand.

Fighting enemies seems pointless and a waste of the distance I put between me and the chasing monster. There's no bonus to beat them and no malus to avoid them, which is also really easy. Also, the over abundance of hearts means that I don't even need to worry about them hitting me. It's too bad because the enemies looks too cool to be skimmed so rapidly.

Finally, there are too many torches. Basically the only reason I was dying when I realized I could just speedrun was messing up the jumps/dashes between the narrow platforms/pillars.

I hope you find this feedback useful, I liked the game and would love to see its full potential. Good job!

Darko by Sodoj 2022-04-08T19:41:16Z

The aesthetic is superb, bravo! The concept is good and I especially love that you pay the merchant with your HP and that you may die from overspending. The game is really fun and frustrating at the same time. The frustration is mainly due to having to start over after death, I couldn't get to the end. Come on, even dark souls has check points. Unless their absence is part of the theme implementation? Delaying giving up and trying over and over? That would be deep. But you know how you could have integrated checkpoints in a wonderful manner? As an HP-paid card at the merchant. That would have been sooo cool. Anyway I loved this game, well done!

Over the Rainbow Bridge by Iguanana 2022-04-05T19:56:37Z

There's not much of a gameplay but it's really cute and touching!

Earth's Last Stand by Junklab 2022-04-07T20:43:53Z

Venting Machine by EmberUshi 2022-04-09T20:45:22Z

hi.jpg

This is my highscore! No arrows pressed at all, merely mashed spacebar like a never mashed before. Is that intended? Loved the game, takes me back to playing yeti sports as a child! Nice job.

Impending Doom by Castitatis 2022-04-09T09:52:33Z

It looks great, it's fun to play and addicting, well done! If you invest in the right order you can obliterate the asteroid in no time, but it takes a couple of playthroughs to understand. I wish there were more asteroids and that you would slowly get overwhelmed instead of winning, which would fit the theme even better. Nice job!

By The Fire by Ani 2022-04-07T19:53:53Z

It's really cute and looks good and polished, i wish cutting the trees was a little faster tho. Good job!

We All Die by ollie_d 2022-04-11T20:35:48Z

Really fun and well made! It's really sad to lose one of the lasers, they're like a family. Also as soon as you do you lose too much fire rate to keep up. If you come up with interesting upgrades and figure out a control scheme that works on mobile this might be a hit, nice job!

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

A Fly's Life by recursor 2022-10-08T15:56:41Z

Great idea, mechanics and implementation! The game is really fun and polished. Good level design too, I think the difficulty curve was just right. Great job!

The Cult of the Ancient One by someone 2022-10-08T14:32:40Z

Complicated but very intruguing. I think if you make it a bit more user friendly it could be great. The minimalistic graphics work well.

Cursed Hotel by mvasko2 2022-10-04T08:55:35Z

"You assume it's just bad marketing" haha best line ever! Wish you had more to do and that you made money quicker to have more employees, but I really liked this!

Bunny is going places by kuro 2022-10-10T20:13:14Z

Wonderful use of music, very polished and funny! Innovative mechanics, at first I had no idea what I was doing. I had to read the description to understand. Could not go back from dark bunny, way too fast for me. But I had fun, nice job!

Unlucky Town by tanis 2022-10-07T15:39:21Z

I like the idea and the use of cards, but there doesn't seem to be a reason to not play every single card that you can afford. I also found myself often ignoring the ten seconds event text in order to read the description of the available cards in time. To fix this I guess you could pause the game until user input every ten seconds to allow reading the disaster effect. Nice job anyway!

An Average Day At The Cat Cafe by alexrose 2022-10-11T19:36:51Z

Looks wonderful and feels really polished! I love this kind of games but in this one you need to be waaay to fast. I'd need to take a course in coffee making to be able to do it as quickly as required. I was able to complete only the first recipe twice in time and nothing else. Such a pity cause everything is so cute. I really hate this theme, people have made otherwise good games that were really harmed by trying to impose a ten seconds limit.

Radioactive Rocket Fuel by JonathanG 2022-10-05T10:18:01Z

I love the trading mechanics in this game but flying around is so frustrating I could not go past the first two planets (up and right). I almost wish the flying part wasn't there at all and you could simply choose which neighboring planet to go. Maybe by having to buy fuel or something. The ten seconds thing could have been how often the prices change something. I loved the little descriptions of the planets, each having a ten seconds twist. Also you really needed to add a "sell all" button and a way to quickly set how much to buy. It quickly turned into a carpal tunnel simulator. Anyway loved travelling between the first few planets and get dirty rich!

Playtime by rasblo 2022-10-04T08:42:56Z

The game is fun, addictive and gives you a great feeling of progression! Really wish it had sound. It's kinda weak on the theme tho, I get having to rush your equipment config might be intersting but as it is it's more annoying than anything else. You simply don't have time to read the descriptions and the delayed UI update makes this even worse. Love how they circle around during the fight, nice touch!

Very juicy and fun to play! Tight spaces are a bit difficult to navigate and the in air movement feels like it has too much inertia and is difficult to control. The ten seconds blue ray / meteor thing is somewhat unfair, often I didn't seem to have any way to avoid it. Loved shooting those guys up, can't believe what they do with ketchup!

Raiding By Myself by wildmusketeer 2022-10-03T09:20:36Z

Lovely art style! The capsule for the player is a bit sad, especially compared to the rest of the game. The game feels polished, the UI not so much. The clone mechanic is certainly not new, but well executed. Nice one!

Assault on Hartblood Hotel by kiririn51 2022-10-09T14:29:18Z

Not my kind of game but I enjoyed it nonetheless! Didn't notice the theme while playing, only later when I re-read the description mentioning the curse every ten seconds. I thought they were just special attacks from the enemy.

Sheeple by Jonathan Holm 2022-10-04T09:09:08Z

Why can't I rate this? It's really beautiful, polished and loved the final twist! I get that you ran out of time to implement the theme but I loved this anyway. Nice job!

Chain Destruction by Schuster 2022-10-03T16:10:16Z

Interesting mechanic, I wish you had more crowd control so to speak. As it is you just go around hoping to find as many enemies close to each other as possible. You can collide with them but it's really hard to control where they go.

Bug Out by wavertron 2022-10-08T15:27:16Z

It's a good and fun game, it suffers a little from a bit of lagginess and unpolished feeling movement. I find the fact that the grapple breaks whatever action I do quite frustrating. I like the idea though and shooting around felt very satisfying, especially because of the death animations. Loved my own too. The exit changes location a bit too often in my opionin. You could have divided the game in more stages of increasing difficulty, including how often the exit moves. Nice job regardless!

THE SUMMON by evgenimp 2022-10-04T14:13:00Z

Damn, so real. What a world we live in.

Dodge48 by thesnide 2022-10-04T08:18:59Z

Looks really cool, wish I had someone to play test it with!

Dodge48 by thesnide 2022-10-04T09:13:11Z

@thesnide w-what?! And have actual social interactions?? Preposterous!

Dodge48 by thesnide 2022-10-04T09:19:09Z

@daandruff fun fact that could be actually done in practice with a split brain surgery!

Curse Of Infinity by Sky 2022-10-03T08:36:38Z

Ate an orange and died, best game ever! I like how it gets more and more frenetic. Absolutely love the soundtrack, reminds me of Rayman 2 a bit.

Dust and Death by SneakyLemon 2022-10-05T10:36:20Z

Really fun and polished! The soundtrack is super catchy, loved it too. In this kind of games losing momentum when crashing is the worst part, your game suffers a bit from this but not much, I think you managed to make it feel good enough. Maybe the car could have bounced a little bit more. The zombies felt somewhat unncessary gameplay wise, but I still loved them because of how much they do for game feel. I agree the theme isn't too strong, but I'm not as critical as the previous guy. I mean the ten seconds are there, they have a role. It's a theme that's easy to fit with common tropes, certainly not my favorite one.

NetCast by TopperVideoGames 2022-10-03T16:04:04Z

It's a nice concept but unfortunately the game can be trivialized by just spamming anything you have such that it covers the entire ground. I think you need some kind of limit on how many pieces you can place and maybe allow the player to place them more precisely.

Avoid Asteroid by zubspace 2022-10-07T15:49:43Z

The game is fun, polished and feels great to play, wish it had more levels! Loved the art and music as well. The theme is really weak tho, never had a role in my playthrough as I naturally stayed well under ten seconds.

Don't be afraid of the dark by Lenan 2022-10-03T12:36:16Z

I love horror games and I can confirm this quite doesn't do it for me.

But mostly it's because the ten seconds thing gets really annoying. I get a black screen for a few seconds without anything to do. Only once I heard noises on the left (during and after a black screen), which was cool and at least gave me something to worry about but was a bit spoiled by the fact that they stayed on the left even when I turned around.

Also I don't quite understand what the black screens are for beside fitting the theme. I didn't notice anything change, but I hardly notice details.

There's also a bug where multiple voice lines play simultaneously, happend 2-3 times. The narrator's voice can be improved too.

I love the visuals tho, despite some things being disproportionally large, like the bed. The music/ambience feels a bit generic but it fits. The other sound effects are passable.

You've Got Mail! by macs 2022-10-11T19:46:44Z

Super funny and fun! This really works well with the ten seconds theme.

HEAT by EbbDrop 2022-10-04T09:04:28Z

Oh no I was really loving this then it ended so abruptly! The walls look a bit weird, like they're soft, and the footsteps sound organic for no apparent reason. But the heat vision is awesome and the "look at the last ten seconds" mechanic is really cool, nice job!

10 seconds Delirium by Furano 2022-10-08T14:23:01Z

Gorgeous and fun! The yin and yang part was super tricky and I loved the transition and contrast with the following FPS part. It gets a bit ripetitive but remains fun, it's crazy you were able to put together basically two different games, both very polished. Great job!

Memento Mori by BinaryPrinciple 2022-10-03T16:17:22Z

I like the idea, the sound design and the art style! I don't quite understand why you needed a jump button, why weren't the directional keys enough? It makes the game awkward to play.

TENET SECONDS by MoebiusMeow 2022-10-03T08:28:01Z

Visually incredible and very polished. Love the Interstellar like music!

Dead End Job by Codeman1010 2022-10-11T19:58:14Z

Well made and fun! Theme works well here too. I'm not sure I've ever seen a game where you serve customers in 3D. Loved the tune too and that it was playing on a real radio, nice one!

Ťɦȩ Ɽḗḋ ꓤⴃὄⴅ by jaybaus 2022-10-07T16:40:29Z

Loved solving The Red Room, screenshot simulator edition! Nice atmosphere and level design, loved the reset visual effect and the rolling cube at the beginning. Great job!

DUNES RIDER by Clément K 2022-10-03T11:56:37Z

Sorry but I don't understand what to do. I tried to drag the cards on the stats on the left, both from the dispenser on the left and from my hand on the bottom, but nothing happened.

Clocktower by Voidsay 2022-10-07T19:26:11Z

Love the idea, presentation and visual style! Just wish it wasn't so frustrating.

Enter\space... by Hexela 2022-10-08T14:09:24Z

Really beautiful art and addictive game! It's surprisingly tricky to never make a mistake. Reminds me of games like "Keep talking and nobody explodes". Wish it had sound, nice job!

Durability Show by Pink Sun 2022-10-03T11:42:03Z

Aaargh I get tempted into stomping everyone then the bouncy guys kill me. I like that it's all robots but I wish there was some music! Also is there a way to heal?

låndskein by Demure 2022-10-08T14:46:20Z

Really pretty and polised! Despite reading the description I don't quite understand what's going on. Which tiles are mine? I forget after placing. Who's winning? What is the green top bar for?

Cyber Survivor by theheheo 2022-10-04T14:19:24Z

I'm not a fan of this type of game but this one's fun, I like the stretegic elements! And nice visual style too.

Iron Sword Tournament by Jackaljk 2022-10-03T11:34:42Z

Thanks everyone! @anxiousgamedev @pink-sun @chetthonctus @clement-k @sky!

@chetthonctus I had noticed the stun lock issue, it didn't seem that systematic and I did not have time to fix it anyway. The extra round win is such a silly bug, how did it not happen to me? Nice catch, thanks!

Iron Sword Tournament by Jackaljk 2022-10-04T14:04:01Z

Thank you all! @thesnide @rasblo @evgenimp @theheheo @neexor @sneakylemon @frabather @megafocus

@anxiousgamedev @chetthonctus @sneakylemon I've uploaded a fixed version here: https://jackaljkdan.itch.io/iron-sword-tournament-no-exploits without the exploits that made the game easier. I think it's noticeably harder if you guys want a bigger challenge!

Iron Sword Tournament by Jackaljk 2022-10-04T15:01:29Z

@neexor oh I almost forgot! I'm so glad you liked it, you can find the soundtrack here: https://github.com/Jackaljkdan/LudumDare51/blob/master/Assets/LudumDare51/Sounds/theme.ogg

Iron Sword Tournament by Jackaljk 2022-10-06T14:36:17Z

Thank you guys! @mvasko2 @lesinvisible @lenan @david-stevenson

@mvasko2 when the lights go out you are meant to rely on audio cues to parry. I added the music last and unfortunately didn't notice how much it interferes with that event. I have uploaded a fixed version of the game in which I turn the music volume down when it's dark, if you wanna check it out the link is in the description.

@lesinvisible yes I tried to make the figthing more varied than in Prince of Persia by allowing to delay your counter attack, otherwise it easily turns into a never ending attack-parry-attack sequence. I get what you're saying about winning by accident, the original version had a couple of exploits that were definitely behind that. I uploaded a fixed version that addresses that (see the descrption) in which the last two opponenets really require you to master the combat flow.

Iron Sword Tournament by Jackaljk 2022-10-07T15:56:00Z

Thank you! @rob6566 @tanis

@rob6566 the extra round bug is fixed in a new version I uploaded, see the description if you wanna check it out. The one shot thing is intentional, it's one of the ten seconds effect: the one shot sword. The blades get very bright and glow when it's active.

@tanis the screen turns black during one of the ten seconds effects called "lights out". The earthquake one is a new bug, thanks for reporting it!

Iron Sword Tournament by Jackaljk 2022-10-07T16:17:47Z

@tanis it is on purpose, you are meant to use audio cues. As soon as someone attacks you can hear him shout, usually something like "mmmfff!". Unfortunately in the original upload it blends too much with the background music. I have uploaded a fixed version that significanly fades its volume during "lights out" to address that. I like the idea of a graphical hint though, thanks!

Iron Sword Tournament by Jackaljk 2022-10-08T14:55:37Z

Thanks @shibaya @hexela @wheffle @furano @someone @jonah!

@wheffle yep that's the most hated effect :P it's somewhat less unfair in the post jam version in which you can better rely on audio cues

@furano yeah I find that reflex parrying on mobile is very hard, while it's between easy and ok with a mouse. I don't know why honestly, but it makes a big difference in difficulty obviously.

I decided to carry the buffs between rounds to stay true to the ten seconds theme and also because againts the first fighters rounds can easily end in less than that.

If you rate it keep in mind you played the post jam version, which I think (and hope!) it's better than the original submission.

Iron Sword Tournament by Jackaljk 2022-10-11T19:22:19Z

Thanks! @recursor @kiririn51

@kiririn51 agreed on the fonts, on the colors front I actually liked the minimalism but maybe the ones I used don't mash well together? Or too much gray?

Meteor Rain - LD51 by Frabather 2022-10-05T13:06:05Z

I like the idea of placing a block to stop the zombies, tho in my experience you don't really need it because there are never that many of them that you can't kill with your bow. I only died because of meteor rain, which was a beautiful effect! I also like that the rain destroys the block I place. Nice effort!

BUN-hop by bqq 2022-10-10T19:45:19Z

Great game, beautiful animations, wonderful soundtrack and nice level design. Loved it, bravo!

Cutthroat Cannoneer by Glove 2022-10-03T12:14:49Z

I like the idea and the game, tho the movement feels a bit slow. The main issue I have is that I don't understand how/why my ship explodes. Sometimes I get hit and its fine. Sometimes I sink. It seems to be related to how quickly I can load up the cannon but I'm not sure. Also can I collide with the enemy cannon balls to protect the ship?

Ten To Zero by FlowerBadger 2022-10-07T16:52:04Z

Could not get past 4 but loved the idea!

Your Little World by NeeXOR 2022-10-04T19:16:41Z

Lovely little game! I enjoyed all the interactions between the creatures and trees. My head started spinning with the planet after a while and I had to stop playing :P

Kitty Pounder by David Stevenson 2022-10-04T09:16:10Z

Uh, wish I had a headset to smash them! Wait... is there something wrong with me too?!

SIEGE: The surprisingly punctual invasion game by AnxiousGameDev 2022-10-03T08:00:37Z

I like the strategic elements, especially not being able to move the towers freely thus having to commit on one position when merging. I completely forgot that different colors do different things, I think it needs to be conveyed by the tower shape itself rather than a legend because the game is so frenetic. You also get overwhelmed quite easily without being able to tell what you did wrong.

10s To Decide by Rob6566 2022-10-06T18:53:43Z

I think this would be awesome with more feedback, you can hardly tell what's going on as it is. I had no idea for instance if my sniper tower were too far. It wasn't clear if and how much the other towers were damagining the enemies. I like the grid layout tho and being able to do only one thing every ten seconds.

History Repeats by Chetthonctus 2022-10-03T11:49:17Z

I tried but I have no idea what to do, sorry!

You Have 10 Seconds! by Shibaya 2022-10-08T13:59:51Z

This is fun! Loved the intro level, I was suprised it wasn't just an image. It gets hard really fast, I guess you could have added a couple of easier filler levels to smooth out the difficulty spike. Wish it had sound and more levels, nice job!

LD53 — Delivery

Delivery Bros by farfadet46 2023-05-02T09:07:59Z

Damn, Amazon sure wish they could deliver packages like in this game.

@catbutt I don't know but you can play the game embedded in this page, just wait a bit when you press play. Eventually it will load.

IceCream Van by notnasiul 2023-05-13T07:14:44Z

Fun, immediate, polished and great concept! Really great job!

Parcel Panic by pdotjpg 2023-05-02T20:14:13Z

Fun and chill, love this kind of games! I wish you made a more interactive tutorial, letting me go through each step instead of explaining everything at the beginning. I always have trouble with games that do this because I tend to forget everything I just read. Would love to see something more in depth with more things to check and do with the packages. Great job!

Sabotage, Inc. by yopox 2023-05-02T14:06:19Z

It was nice to see a variation on the theme where you have to stop a delivery instead of doing one. The music and graphics were also awesome

CVCPresents: CrazyCooked Adventure (wild!!!); or how I learned to love burgervan by David Mason 2023-05-08T14:29:12Z

Love the concept and that it’s two games in one! Took me way too long to understand how to deliver the hamburger tho, didn’t get I had to put it on the table.

Amazing, great idea, really fun and polished! So cute and funny as well, great job.

Ray Ledger: Midnight Run by zantze 2023-05-02T19:06:46Z

It's rough but it's pretty enjoyable, the skate mechanic is cool enough that I wonder why you didn't just have the guy go around in a skateboard! You better claim copyright money when the next gta comes out.

eelBay by Peco 2023-05-06T07:53:56Z

Very clever game, nice job! I might say, very eelegant.

Stacked Up! by MashUpGames 2023-05-11T08:26:45Z

Great mechanics, great presentation and onboarding progression! It feels weird that the stack is FIFO when you're putting stuff down, especially when you need to reorder it and despite it being necessary to climb up, but you eventually get used to it. The animations for picking up and putting down are a bit too sudden but definitely ok for a jam. Good job!

Get To The Summit by Russ Moonbase 2023-05-04T13:08:52Z

The level design is great and the mechanis are fun, I just think the truck is more difficult to drive than it needs to be. A more arcade driving style would make it even more fun and I think would go better with the setting.

TukTuk Delivery by MrBamboo 2023-05-12T11:23:56Z

This is really well made and fun, but the camera angle really ruins the experience for me. When I'm going down I always end up crashing and can't see what I'm doing because the buildings obstruct my view.

AirTaxi by bixarrio 2023-05-02T12:50:44Z

Fun and chill game, neat idea for the theme. It's fairly raw and unpolished but it's ok for a jam, music does not fit at all imho.

Stroke Stork by spyranteros 2023-05-02T08:16:17Z

The game is difficult, just like trying to land a dead stork as a baby

Demonic Delivery by ShannonHG 2023-05-04T12:59:39Z

Superbly polished, I just wish there was more to this game as well made as it is. Love the moving eyes especially.

Dragon Egg Delivery Service by Jackaljk 2023-05-02T07:48:39Z

@fiinrii thank you!

We had to cut corners with the firefighter, I don't like how it feels to control him either but it was the fastest way to implement.

As for difficulties with the mouse, you can also press E to interact. This might help you avoid unwanted mouse movements.

Dragon Egg Delivery Service by Jackaljk 2023-05-02T08:51:35Z

Thank you all! @h1hoho @poseredinke @farfadet46 @freakyzelga

@farfadet46 I'm not sure what you mean, W does always make you go up. Maybe you meant that you want W to make dragon step forward in the way it's looking (aka tank controls)?

@freakyzelga you're right about the marker, we didn't think about that! The bowl is mentioned in the initial tutorial, did it not show up to you?

Dragon Egg Delivery Service by Jackaljk 2023-05-02T12:26:12Z

Thank you! @alex-chertilin @thomasvenner

@thomasvenner yeah MalberS low poly stuff really fits doesn't it? As for the drop button is mentioned in a tutorial popup, but I guess I should have just written the hotkeys on the interface somewhere. Will do next time!

King's Sandwich by HexStart 2023-05-02T20:36:10Z

Absolutely loved it! Great take on the theme, very fun and strategic. This can be turned into so many different situations, like talking to your boss, wife, patient, ... it has a lot of potential. I love how meme-like the graphics are but if you want to turn this into a hit for the general populace you might want to rethink the presentation :P Great job guys!

They Took Our Jobs! by Bit Flipz 2023-05-08T12:48:15Z

The gameplay is fun and the concept and setting are really cool! I love that you have to deal with the returning packages. Difficulty spikes a lot on the second level, in particular the returning packages tend to arrive simultaneously on different tracks and I am physically unable to take both and I lose. Am I missing something? Anyway I realize you only had a few levels but this sharp difficulty means most of us fellow jammers won't be able to play all of the game and experience all of the mechanics. I'd suggest you always keep it easy in jams and rump it up in post jam versions.

With the Grain by Fuse in a Bowl 2023-05-02T08:45:50Z

I like the concept and the game is very polished and relaxing, but I think you should give the player more agency on how to place the tracks. As it is you merely have to follow a predefined path. It would be great if you had to manage conflicts between tracks and even train schedules.

Terminal Mayhem by ThomasVenner 2023-05-02T12:23:19Z

I like the concept and the execution feels really polished, but as it is it's just way too hard. Packages to any destination may spawn on any belt and I just don't have enough time to rotate a piece to account for that.

Parcel Problem by Fiinrii 2023-05-02T07:46:49Z

I like the idea, but I don't really have time to prepare my defense with towers before I get swarmed and killed.

Soul Delivery Manager by Stanislav Pustynkin 2023-05-02T08:31:58Z

It's a really cool idea and graphically impressive! The gameplay is good too but like made3 said it gets really repetitive very soon. You should divide it into different trips and the first should take very little time and you add more mechanics at each trip. If you add more stuff to do and develop it further it might be a succes, it looks amazing in trailers and screenshot, looks like you are great at marketing!

Boxed Out by freakyzelga 2023-05-02T10:17:11Z

You are definitely good at prompting the AI! I don't quite like that it doesn't count the delivery until the very last second. I messed up a few deliveries because of that because I clicked the next destination too early. Wish there was sound and a little more to do!
